Radical Islam poses a threat, not only in places like Mamdani's, New York, but right in my home state of North Carolina, and is spreading across the United States.
Just this past New Year's Eve in my 8th District of North Carolina, the FBI foiled a planned terrorist attack.
Christian Sturdivant, an 18-year-old from Mint Hill, North Carolina, a suburban town in my district, intended to use knives and hammers to massacre people at a local grocery store and a fast food restaurant.
He had pledged his allegiance to ISIS at the young age of 14, aspired to martyrdom, and hoped to kill as many people as possible before dying at the hands of police.
This is real life.
Thank God the Charlotte FBI intercepted this plot in time.
But this incident should alarm every American.
An impressionable young man in our own North Carolina community was radicalized by violent Islamic ideology.
Picture families losing loved ones while simply celebrating an American holiday or running errands.
We also see troubling signs of broader influence, including sympathy for Sharia law over the United States Constitution.
A poll by the Center for Security Policy found that over half of U.S. Muslims surveyed believe Muslims should have the option of Sharia courts or tribunals instead of or alongside while views vary and many American Muslims fully embrace our constitutional system,
substantial support for Sharia among Muslims indicate alignment with Islamist political goal and Islamic theocracy.
I think of the freedom from suffering that Buddhism teaches us is only possible if we remove the three poisons of desire, hatred, and ignorance from our daily lives.
We need not accept suffering as unchangeable.
We need not treat hatred as the natural state.
We have the power to set ourselves free.
And I consider my own faith, Islam, a religion built upon a narrative of migration.
The story of the hijrah reminds us that Prophet Muhammad, Sulawa alayhi wasallam, was a stranger too, who fled Mecca and was welcomed in Medina.
Surah Al-Nahl 1642 tells us, as for those who immigrated in the cause of Allah after being persecuted, we will surely bless them with a good home in this world.
Or as the Prophet Muhammad said, Islam began as something strange and will go back to being strange.
So glad tidings to the strangers.
If faith offers us the moral compass to stand alongside the stranger, government can provide the resources.
Let us create a new expectation of City Hall where power is wielded to love, to embrace, and to protect.
It is Friday, 6th February in the year of our Lord 2026.
We are shifting now every Friday and Wednesday to the 5 o'clock show, War Room, Texas.
We're going to be here through the primary because of one reason, because we need to be here to make sure we report every day this issue about Sharia law being on the ballot, Proposition 10, the prohibiting of Sharia law in the great state of Texas.
Matt Boyle, the editor of Breitbart, is going to be with us.
Probably the most expensive primary in the history of this country taking place right now, the senatorial primary between Hunt, Paxton, and Cornyn.
It looks like a dead heat by a polling firm.
He's going to be on here.
Very controversial.
I want to start with Congressman Mark Harris of the great state of North Carolina.
Congressman Harris, I think people would consider you in the House of Representatives one of the top experts on Islam and Sharia.
You kind of had a called shot the other day.
You were at the caucus, I think, on Tuesday, and you talked about Mamdani.
That was the mayor of the city of New York lecturing American citizens on the Quran and the Hadith.
Well, Steve, first of all, thank you for having me today.
It's an honor to be with you.
And listen, I was amazed to see that.
I had not seen that before.
I saw it just a few moments ago.
And for him to lecture us as Americans on this critical issue is missing so many of the points.
I mean, obviously, he's building his case for how he is trying to transform New York and how he would like to transform the rest of America.
But the things that we're talking about and what the caucus was talking about the other day is recognizing the reality that when you talk about Sharia law, you're talking about folks that are really trying to create an alternate political and legal system that runs completely counter to who we are as Americans and counter to what we believe in as the United States Constitution.
And I think that's what's at risk here.
And I think that as we laid out the other day there at the caucus, the things that they are involved in and supporting, whether it be stoning to death for those that have somehow been unfaithful to their cause, for those that have committed apostasy by leaving Islam.
Listen, radical Islam is a serious, serious problem.
And it's not just in Mandami's, New York.
This is a problem, as I pointed out, in my own district, a very quiet suburban area just outside of Charlotte, Mint Hill, North Carolina, where a young man was radicalized at the age of 14, pledged his commitment, evidently, to ISIS.
And here we are at age 18.
He was prepared to carry out the week of New Year's, a mass killing where he was going into a local grocery store and a fast food restaurant.
And there he was going to kill people and was prepared to die at the hands of police.
So this is a serious issue.
I'm so grateful for you calling attention to it.
I'm grateful for you standing with the people in Texas to understand what's at stake.
And we've got to be united and we've got to speak very, very strong.
Congressman, you have been on this before you even got into politics and into Congress.
We've had people since we started the show two weeks ago, and I tell folks, we've launched a lot of warm impeachment, war and pandemic.
We've never had an explosive nature of this.
We've had people from Arizona, Oklahoma, Arkansas, South Carolina, Florida, North Carolina, all say, hey, look, if you can't do a war, we need to come on the show and talk to people.
What is the issue?
And those states I named are principally in the American South.
This is a targeted operation.
What do you believe it's going to take to have our fellow countrymen wake up to what this situation is and how this is a very well thought through invasion of our country?
Well, I think it's got to be an education process, Steve.
We've got to, just what you're doing, we've got to get the word out.
We've got to educate people about what's at risk here because this is not just something that is just going to come along and that we just tolerate.
Again, the goal ultimately is to provide an alternative political and legal system that they want to put in place that runs counter to who we are.
I mean, Islam means to submit when you really get down to it, ultimately.
And when you consider that they want us to submit to Sharia law, that law, that's extremely dangerous.
And listen, I remember several years ago, too, going to the state legislature and standing with other folks, conservatives there in the North Carolina General Assembly, to pass a statute there that would certainly recognize our courts and our law in North Carolina above Sharia law.
And we've got to make sure that while this movement has only grown and continued to be underground with the Sharia, they've come out from underground and they're seeking to make it something stronger.
And we have got to step up and speak up and make clear that folks are going to take their stand.
And they have the opportunity there in Texas with this vote that's going to be coming up on March 3rd to do just that.
And I haven't been in Texas recently, so I don't know how strong they're standing.
I know in North Carolina we have stood when we really had to stand up and speak up.
And I think that's going to be critically important.
Listen, believers do need to recognize this is spiritual warfare.
We need to go back to the book of Nehemiah, chapter 2, verse 17 and 18, where Nehemiah saw the walls torn down, thieves and foreign invaders came in and raped and pillaged the land.
God gave him a vision in Nehemiah 2, 17 and 18 of what needed to happen.
And it came down to three things.
Recognize the emergency, rely upon God's power, and thirdly, be relentless in your efforts.
And that's a word that God has given me.
In fact, I shared it with the group just earlier today because I do believe that ultimately we've got to step one, open our eyes and awaken to the emergency that is happening right here before us.
Then we've got to rely upon God's power, his word, which is truth.
And when we understand his word is truth, then we thirdly become relentless in our efforts to standing on that truth, spreading that word, and helping folks stand in the midst of this challenge in front of us.
You can go to repmark HarrisNCO8 and find out more about us there.
And let me just say this in closing.
I am so thankful for Congressman Keith Self, Congressman Chip Roy, who founded this caucus, and I'm honored to stand with them and grateful for their strong leadership there in Texas and for what they're bringing across the country.
Congressman Carrick, Congressman Harris, been on this from the beginning.
Warning people.
You see what's happening now?
We've got a real fight on our hands down here in Texas.
We're going to take a short commercial break.
Capital markets, stock market on fire today a little bit, broke 50,000.
The Dow Jones, President Trump sent out true social on that.
Gold is still all over the map, but teasing 5,000.
It's not the price.
It's the process.

Matt Boyle, the national political editor of Breitbart News about this, what kind of say the most expensive race in history.
As Texas goes, so goes the nation.
As the nation goes, so goes the world.
Are you prepared to fight for this state?
Are you prepared to fight for your country?
Okay, a historic primary going on in the Senate.
Ken Paxon, the Attorney General, Wesley Hunt, a former Army attack helicopter pilot from West Point, and John Cornyn, a former, I think, Supreme Court judge who has been in the Senate for term after term after term, are in a dogfight.
Polling the other day from JPL had Paxton at 27, Hunt at 26, Cornyn at 26 with about 20% undersided.
That sent earthquakes off.
There's been accusations by the Corning campaign that they're a British firm and trying to, these are the British trying to intrude.
But as Matt Bull just informed me, another poll just came out with Paxson 26, Hunt 25, Cornyn in third at 22.
Matt Bull, there's an earthquake going on down the great state of Texas, sir.
This will end up being the most expensive primary Republican primary, I believe, in the history of the country.
What's your perspective as national political editor Breitbart?
Yeah, well, the fact that we're just a few weeks out from this primary, and I think your assessment of this is right.
I can't think of another race that is more expensive.
I've been doing this for 15 years and I can't think of one.
And by the way, it's all one candidate and his allies that are spending all the money, right?
So that's Cornyn and the donor class that are all in for him.
They've spent, it will be a north of $50 million primary effort by John Cornyn.
The fact that we are a few weeks out from that and Cornyn appears to be, at least in some surveys, right?
Like looking like he might not even make the runoff.
The way Texas works in their primaries on March 3rd is that if nobody gets 50% plus one vote, then the top two vote getters advance to a runoff later in the spring.
And it looks like right now, at least based off these latest two surveys, one from JL Partners that has Paxton at 27 and both Cornyn and Hunt at 26.
And then this latest signal survey that again has Cornyn even further down, that it's a very real possibility that we could see a runoff between Ken Paxton and Wesley Hunt that doesn't even include the longtime senator, despite the fact that he's blown tens of millions of dollars in this race and his allies have.
No, no, but I just wanted the audience to understand, particularly as people outside Texas that watch us is just insert Mitch McConnell for John Cornyn.
He's been, he's one of Cornyn's leadership teams for decades, right?
So this is about the hardcore Republican establishment.
I don't know the exact numbers off the top of my head, but he was a handful of votes just over a year ago away from being the Senate Republican leader and successor to Mitch McConnell and ended up falling to the thun in a three-way race that happened.
Remember, Rick Scott got in and tried to challenge it and shook the whole thing up.
But Cornyn was only just a handful of votes away from being Mitch McConnell's successor.
And so for us to be a little over a year later now, and he's on the cusp of possibly not even making the runoff in his own primary after spending tens of millions of dollars.
This is a total defenestration of the donor class.
And I mean, it's the biggest embarrassment I've ever seen.
The guys at the Senate leadership fund.
If the Senate goes Democrat in November, we will look back at this moment and say this is why.
Because they blew tens of millions of dollars on a guy that is struggling very badly right now.
And now, that being said, again, nothing's over until it's over, until all the votes are counted and so on and so forth.
And no votes have been cast yet.
So it's not over yet.
But what we're seeing here are early signs that the Republican establishment is in total collapse in the state of Texas.
And frankly, there's a lot of things to like about both Ken Paxton and Wesley Hunt.
I know both of them personally.
By the way, I know John Cornyn personally too.
I've interviewed him many times over the years.
I have nothing personal against Senator Cornyn.
But what I'm telling you is that what the numbers seem to suggest, what we're seeing right now is that Cornyn appears to be in collapse a few weeks before this primary date and may not even make the runoff election.
If that happens, that is an earth-shattering development.
I would also add to that Cornyn's campaign and super PAC and allies are out there attacking the JL partners pollster, Jason Johnson and his polling firm, falsely accusing them of being a British company.
They're not a British company.
It is an American company.
I spoke to the pollster in the lead up to this appearance here today because it's Steve, we talked about this earlier today that we were going to talk about it.
So I called the pollster just to be sure that the attacks that Cornyn himself, like if you go to John Cornyn's Twitter account, X account, he has attacks that are false.
By the way, the original person who posted them with the false information in them has deleted that.
But Cornyn's suite was still up as of 10 minutes ago last time I checked, falsely attacking this American company, calling it a foreign company, and also falsely claiming that they're working for Wesley Hunt or affiliated entities.
This pollster is not working for Wesley Hunt or its affiliated or any like super PAC supporting Hunt or anything like that.
So we're, and now we have a second poll, this one from Signal, which again is another legitimate pollster that is suggesting that this is not a fluke and that this appears to be okay.
He was the first guy we had on the show on the afternoon after Joe Biden had the phony inauguration back on 20 January 2021.
And, you know, Paxton said, hey, where the Biden administration is going to be inside the Constitution, I'll work with them, where they're going to be outside.
I'm going to fight him.
I think the next day he filed his first lawsuit.
This was supposed to be grassroots versus McConnell.
This is supposed to be MAGA versus the donors.
And yet Wesley Hunt did join here.
He's a guy that's revered combat record and West Point grad.
Walk me through the five-dimension chests here because we were supposed to be talking about a dead heat between Cornyn and Paxton.
And now we have a third element involved.
And what's you are right shocking that Cornyn's in third place?
Like, so I like all three people personally, right?
Like all three candidates.
And I will say, you know, obviously I think Cornyn is the establishment guy, but I've always got along with him well personally.
But I will say this.
I think that, you know, Ken Paxton is the, he's revered by the base, right?
Obviously, he was a vehemently, viciously weaponized government attacked against him.
They went through the same impeachment rigor marole that they did to Donald Trump, to Ken Paxton in the Texas legislature.
He fought it.
He won.
He beat them just like Trump did.
And so there's a lot of similarities there.
Wesley Hunt is a really also interesting character.
And I think, you know, also to, you know, I've seen some people out there trying to suggest that like he's a plant by Cornyn or something like that.
I don't think so.
I think Wesley Hunt is a genuinely honest person.
I've met with him a bunch of times on Capitol Hill.
I think the world of him.
I think he's a great leader inside the House Republican Conference, and he's been a member of the House for several years now, has a really powerful personal story and his service in dating back to West Point and beyond.
A really fascinating guy.
And so I think that both of those two candidates are drawing.
So the dynamic here is that the Hunt campaign is kind of the surprise up the middle that could finish off Cornyn before we even get to the runoff, right?
Because the conventional wisdom was, oh, because you've got all these also ran candidates out there too, right?
Like, and so nobody was going to get to 50% on March 3rd anyway.
So it was always going to go to a runoff.
And the conventional wisdom was always that it was going to be Paxton versus Cornyn and it would be another $150 million between the primary and the runoff.
That's out the window now.
We could see a scenario here where there's a runoff between any combination of the three, right?
They're desperately trying, but I don't think, I think Trump's been very apprehensive to do that.
But that being said, I also challenge that conventional wisdom that Cornyn's the better candidate in the general election.
Look, the Democrats are very likely going to dominate Jasmine Crockett, who's a radical, crazy crackpot as their candidate.
And so again, what you're going to see here is that I think Paxton or Hunt actually does better in a general election against them.
And so those very same donor class Republicans are blowing money that could be used to help Mike Rogers up in Michigan or Defoya in Minnesota or Sununu up in New Hampshire, Watley in North Carolina, et cetera.
They're blowing this money in Texas on a primary for a candidate who's weaker in a general election.
So I think it's going to be a total defenestration of the donor class on March the 3rd.
This Senate primary has not just national implications, but global implications.
We're going to be all over it.
This is what people are talking about, what a post-Trump MAGA looks like.
You got the donor class all in for Cornyn.
And Matt had some very complimentary words.
I mean, Senator Cornyn, the problem is he's just been part of the establishment for decade after decade after decade, really hasn't done anything on Capitol Hill.
You need new blood there.
You got Wesley Hunt, you got Ken Paxon.
Ken Paxton is in a tough fight.
So we're going to cover this with daily updates.
So vitally important.
Plus, it is sucking up an unbelievable amount of resources.
Natalie G. Winters are going to join us, but I have a special for Natalie.
Let's go ahead and play this clip and I want Natalie G. Winters, her commentary as only she can give it.
The story of the hijrah reminds us that Prophet Muhammad, Sulawah alayhi wasallam, was a stranger too, who fled Mecca and was welcomed in Medina.
Surah Al-Nahl 1642 tells us: as for those who immigrated in the cause of Allah after being persecuted, we will surely bless them with a good home in this world.
Natalie Winters, I think this explains better than anything why we're in Texas in the run-up to this vote on Proposition 10, the prohibiting of Sharia law in the state of Texas.
Your thoughts about what you just heard and saw, ma'am.
I almost wish we were operating like the Washington Post here.
You could have fired me so I didn't have to watch that.
I don't know what sentence in that is the most ridiculous one.
I think I would probably go with my personal favorite quote: I consider my own faith, Islam, a religion built upon a narrative of migration.
That's the most ridiculous euphemism I've ever heard for what, 1,400 years of destruction, conquest, rape, and pillaging at the gates of Europe from a religion that has so many problems we don't have enough time to list on this program.
I'd point him to his own book, The Hadith: I will expel the Jews and Christians from the Arabian Peninsula and will not leave any but Muslim.
So, like we always hear, Islam means peace.
No, it doesn't.
It means submission.
The fact that you're even seeing that be said with a official seal of the United States, New York City behind him, truly makes me sick to my stomach.
But honestly, Steve, my anger, though it is partly directed at this whatever Islama fascist uprising we're seeing right now, it's at weak Republicans who have allowed this.
I'm not that old, but I remember, what was it, back in 2016 at the peak of culture wartime, we already had this debate and we settled it.
I don't know why we need to have redundant tautological caucuses in Congress, which are Sharia-free America.
America is a Sharia-free place.
We don't need to reinforce that.
But you know why we have to?
Because even though we, the grassroots, the war room posse, we won the idea war, where have congressional Republicans, where have Senate Republicans, where have any actual Republicans in leadership been to actually prevent the Islamicization of America, whether it's homegrown radicalism, the importing of foreign migrants, it's absolutely reprehensible.
This was a debate that was settled a decade ago.
And Steve, like you've always said, the future of American politics is right-wing populism and left-wing populism.
And now, because our Republican betters didn't stand in the breach and actually do anything to combat this, you're seeing this weird amalgamation where left-wing populism is looking more like the Hamas protester crowd where you're getting this fusion with radical Islam.
I'm just so sick and tired.
You see it rearing its ugly head right now with the way that they're reframing mass deportations of these Republicans who don't think that America is a civilization or a country that's worth defending.
And I'm so glad we have a Sharia-free caucus in America, but I'm more upset that we have to have that in the first place and that we have to even watch eclipse like that.
That should be an AI deep fake that's getting censored as misinformation, not actual government policy that a few weeks from now is probably going to look like more what the immigration policy of this administration is pushing than something that's just straight plucked out of the Quran or the Hadith.
With your brilliant research in the Chinese Communist Party, you became one of the, with Mike Benz and Raheem, some other people, one of the foremost theoreticians in understanding the color revolution and how it's playing out throughout the country.
While we're having to set up a Sharia-free caucus with only 33 people in it, I might add, and have it on the ballot down here to prohibit in the state of Texas.
You're reporting, walk me through the exclusives.
The people on the other side of the football are playing for keeps and they're not messing around.
And I don't think the war posse gets it, but we have to make sure that elected officials and even people in the administration want me through this exclusive because I'm not sure people understand the lethality and the seriousness of what we're up against, ma'am.
I mean, they say it's defending democracy, but it reads like a war plan.
They're talking about basically how to integrate AI, particularly AI with military use cases.
I'm even talking VR and drones, that's virtual reality, into the landscape of Democrat protests.
There was sort of a quiet meeting that was held at Harvard in late 2024 that kicked this whole initiative off.
They distilled it into a report called How AI Can Support Democracy Movements.
It was led by Erica Chenoweth that we've reported on extensively here, not just because her resume is full of USAID grants and lectures, but because she's hardwired into the Democratic Party apparatus.
She's co-hosted protest planning events alongside Democrat members of Congress, most recently Pramila Jayapal with their whole resistance labs, if people remember that, the phone calls, they were holding these mass training demonstrations.
But I want to just read the quotes from what they're planning, the integration of AI into these protests.
But I want the audience to really pay attention.
This is not run of the mill, you know, practicing slogans and chanting.
This is war.
Quote, while these are all worthy areas of focus, a large gap exists in social movements' ability to use AI tools for their own tactical, strategic, and organizational needs, such as background research, systematic power mapping, intelligence gathering, sentiment analysis, predictive modeling, and strategic coaching.
Some noted that AI could be used before, during, and after protest events and other contentious actions to monitor and analyze police and government responses, supporting organizers and planning and adapting logistical aspects such as timing and escape routes.
AI tools could even help track the location and tactical movements of allies and adversaries in real time.
Moreover, lessons from current military uses of AI, such as sticking to plans under pressure and utilizing virtual reality for training, could offer activists new methodologies and resilience and adaptability.
Movements must devise strategies to stay ahead of technological developments, including VR and drones.
Now, to reiterate what I just read, that is multiple people from this sort of democracy movement coming together at Harvard in late 2024 to kick off what has become and will become a years-long integration of AI in the broadest sense, but and frankly, like you heard, a military use case into the prepping, the planning, the plotting of all Democrat protests that are going on,
down to the point where they're talking about virtual reality training for Democrat protesters so they can be better acclimated to whatever police forces or law enforcement officials they can run into.
Natalie, do you think this, because it's war gaming is what they're doing in a very sophisticated war gaming.
Do you believe from what you've seen and observed that anything at DHS that you've seen under Christy Noam or Tom Holman or Bovino, as good as these people are and as well-intentioned as they are, have you seen any level of sophistication versus what you're seeing in your research and finding out behind the scenes is going on?
And that's why these Bolsheviks in the streets of Minneapolis, we have to be blunt about this, are winning.
We're in a stand down right now.
We've drawn 700, I think, Border Patrol from Minneapolis.
President Trump saying, hey, if I'm invited into sanctuary cities, we'll go.
But if we're not invited in, if they don't ask, please, we're not going to go.
Do you think the left is just outthought us, outworked us, outplanned for this?
And it really is taking this as the war in the streets that the Bolsheviks have always fought.
And the only way they get to power is to win these fights.
My wish, because I think the reality is far more sobering, which is that we are up against an extremely well-financed, sinister, Marxist, foreign-linked-I mean, I won't use the word cabal, but cabal of these forces that don't believe America should exist, whether because it's an ideological thing, a money thing, or like you said, they're Bolsheviks to their core.
And I think fundamentally, DHS is treating this issue as something about optics and protests, as opposed to color revolution and militant agitators.
You meet force with force.
If you worry about optics, these people are always going to be able to run circles around us on the messaging front, right?
You can't show any weakness.
And frankly, I would also really emphasize that leaning in and embracing these authoritarian tropes, which is how they've always tried to depict us.
As you know, Steve, how many times have we discussed on the show the lock that picks rather the key that picks the lock to allow these USAID global color revolution playbooks to be used here in the United States is to depict the Trump administration as an autocracy, to depict him as an autocrat.
You have Ann Applebaum and Stacey Abrams doing a beautiful long-form podcast today talking about how autocrats steal elections.
They're always using that terminology because they want to be able to unleash this playbook.
I think all of the DHS, the ICBP people who are on the ground there should be very well versed and be reading these manuals.
A lot of them are, you know, OSINT, they're open source intelligence.
You can read them and you would understand the enemy that you're up against.
I wish these were just people who had misguided interpretations of the Constitution and really wanted to welcome Haitian cat-eating migrants into their backyards.
But these are people who want to see the United States be destroyed.
Last thing before you bounce, Erica Chenoweth, you've been exposing this now for almost a year on the show.
Can you please tell me that she's been totally cut off by government funding?
Please tell me.
I know President Trump is suing Harvard, then backing off, then a billion dollars.
Can you tell the audience right now, as thorough as your research is, is she still on getting government grants to do this basically war gaming and this organized, really thought-through attack on the United States of America from Harvard?
Well, she's still pumping out way too much content.
I don't think she's been lecturing at the U.S. Institute of Peace or USAID because those buildings are now defunct.
But make no mistake, these people still are.
I'll give you one example: Kate Starbird, the maven of election censorship.
She just put out a new paper basically laying the groundwork to censor all anti-immigrant content using the same strategies that they did with election stuff.
So she's still active.
Erica Chanowith is a they, them.
So they're still active.
And I'm sure if we trace the funding, you'll see that it's hardwired into some form of government grants.
Sometimes the work is a lot more fun than the other days.
And this is one of those days.
I love it down here.
This is, I've spent so much time here at Mar-a-Lago the last five years.
And it's just a little mini paradise you can get away, but you're still always doing.
We're down here doing a couple big fundraisers, everybody.
The whole country's getting behind my run for governor.
And I want to thank all of you out there.
The War Room Posse has come through too.
We're starting now, Steve, big marketing plan to beat Amy Klobuchar.
We're hitting the ground running here in February.
And I've got great plans that we have, which we're going to reveal them all on the next week or two, which I did for, which I helped the president get elected.
We're going to use those same concepts and plans in Minnesota.
I plan on beating Amy Klobuchar.
You've seen the poll.
