| And above me, what you're seeing, these are power lines that are already starting to sag just a little bit. | ||
| And then we have bigger transmission lines. | ||
| These are lines that really supply. | ||
| This supplies the Air Force base, Shepherd Air Force Base, and half of Wichita Falls. | ||
| And if these power lines go down, you're talking hundreds of thousands of people without power. | ||
| And that's something we're watching because the first round's through and the next round is going to happen tonight. | ||
| And unfortunately, it's looking worse than the first round. | ||
| So it's just starting for the people of Texas and Oklahoma. | ||
| What is the temperatures are also obviously a big problem here. | ||
| I understand some of the equipment we had to actually have you froze. | ||
| We couldn't use it. | ||
| Tell me about the temperatures combined with the moisture. | ||
| Well, it's 11 degrees here right now. | ||
| That's the actual temperature. | ||
| And we're in Texas. | ||
| But with the wind chills, I got the north winds here to my back that are about 20 miles per hour. | ||
| So you're looking at wind chills well below zero, probably 20 below zero. | ||
| So anything metal, it doesn't like the batteries, anything that you have. | ||
| So, you know, like Patriot supply that was on earlier, that's that's it's critical to have preparation stuff because it does not. | ||
| Weather creates havoc on things like anything electronic. | ||
| You know, feel one thing my pickup, the diesel, uh, the diesel will actually freeze in the vehicle. | ||
| And so if you're not prepared, uh, it'll freeze. | ||
| And so you've got to be prepared all the way around just for the cold temperatures. | ||
| Our coldest temps are going to come Monday morning and we're talking well below zero physical temperatures and wind chills probably pushing 50 below. | ||
| That's insane for the northern Texas area. | ||
| How people doing for emergency services, the churches are people, are people, are they handling that so far? | ||
| Yeah, the local governments are really on top of it. | ||
| The city of Wichita Falls, the city of Brook Burnett, they're prepared. | ||
| They have warming shelters. | ||
| The emergency services have got supplies. | ||
| So they're prepared. | ||
| The one thing they're worried about is, you know, there's two things that really kill people in winter weather. | ||
| They'll try to put generators in shelters and that carbon monoxide will kill people and they'll kill you before you even realize it. | ||
| I mean, you're going to get sleepy and go to sleep and then you're dead. | ||
| And that's a big killer. | ||
| The other one is falling on the ice, especially elderly, trying to go check their mail, trying to get out, trying to go grocery shopping. | ||
| People, you know, a lot of elderly fall and hit their head. | ||
| And that's something that we preach as meteorologists, like, hey, stay inside. | ||
| Preparations, it's too late. | ||
| Just stay aside, stay warm, because if you get outside in these brutally temps and you fall and you get fall to the ground, you could die from exposure. | ||
| So and hitting your head or whatever physical injuries you might have. | ||
| So stay inside at this point. | ||
| There's, you know, if you need help, call 911. | ||
| Emergency services will respond. | ||

| The temperature for North Texas is going to be, people are projecting on Monday morning to be what? | ||

| The purpose of the exercise is how to make sure the overwhelming support for your candidacy actually gets to a poll to vote. | ||
| So walk me through that. | ||

| So the first challenge was the date at all, because this is a special election. | ||
| Texans are not used to voting in January. | ||
| And the Betso Aurora organization, powered by people who have been actually investigated by our attorney general for alleged fraudulent contributions in the use of their funds, are behind this race against me. | ||
| It is their goal to take Tarrant County. | ||
| They know as Tarrant County goes, so goes Texas. | ||
| And they used to be quiet about that, but now they're saying it out loud. | ||
| They're posting it on social media. | ||

| I've been on several media entities talking about the need to get out an early vote Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday before this snowstorm or ice storm hits. | ||
| And the people in the Northeast need to understand when you laugh at Texas, it's not snow. | ||

| And where I live, it's a solid sheet of ice. | ||
| And elderly people, everything shuts down. | ||
| The reason for that is because we don't have snow plows. | ||
| I will tell you the city I live in and several other cities. | ||

| Southlake, our city officials pre-treated the roads and they treated again yesterday. | ||
| And Keller, the neighboring city, I know did the same thing. | ||
| The sweet mayor in North Richland Hills, they treated, I saw on social media this morning, he picked up the poll workers and drove them to the polls this morning so that the North Richland Hills polling site could be open. | ||
| There are several polling sites that are closed down completely, some just for today, some are already announcing today and tomorrow. | ||

| I know North Richland Hills is open. | ||
| Keller is open. | ||
| South Lake is open. | ||
| I believe Azel is open. | ||

| Keller Town Hall, the election judge there, didn't show up and called 10 minutes later. | ||
| They were able to get a substitute election judge. | ||
| That opened, was supposed to open at 7. | ||
| It wound up opening at 8:30. | ||
| Saginaw Public Library, Bedford, those are closed. | ||
| Several entities are closed. | ||
| And so I encourage people to look at leifortexas.com. | ||

| The county is regularly updating their site. | ||
| And we've been calling friends that can't drive that we know still need to vote. | ||
| And my husband and I are going to pick them up and drive them over to the polls because here in South Lake, the roads are very slick. | ||

| But if the people are wanting to get out and drive, friends have already asked if we can do that. | ||
| We're happy to do that. | ||
| Your social media, the people you're going to continue to update, plus the website to update if particularly if polling places are going to stay up open later today and tomorrow. | ||
| And I think they're still, are they going to vote tomorrow? | ||
| Is that you're going to wait till Monday? | ||
| So the schedule was the polling places were supposed to be open today, 7 to 7, tomorrow, 10 to 4, and Monday and Tuesday, 7 to 7. | ||
| But Steve, these freezing temperatures aren't going to end. | ||
| In fact, it's not supposed to get above freezing until midday on Tuesday. | ||
| That's why we were pushing people to get out early to vote. | ||
| I've never experienced this during any election. | ||

| I know our county officials are working really hard. | ||

| I think we're all working together to make sure everyone has a chance to vote. | ||

| And that agreement in 1966 between the UK and the U.S. said that the UK would retain sovereignty over this piece of territory and the U.S. could operate it from it from it from like for 50 plus 20 years. | ||
| So it doesn't run out for another decade. | ||
| In spite of that, the UK government has been trying to push through a treaty that it's signed with Mauritius that will give the Chagos Archipelago, those islands, including Diego Garcia, to Mauritius and will then pay Mauritius billions of dollars over the next 99 years for the lease. | ||
| And if they miss one payment, the lease can be terminated. | ||
| So it's very hard to see how, first of all, they're not in contravention of international law. | ||
| And second of all, they're not setting up for a position where the U.S. is going to be left stranded legally in one of the most strategically important locations on that side of the planet. | ||
| It is in the Chinese, in the Chinese, hang on one second, we're going to go to break, but in the Chinese Communist Party controls Mauritius, so the CCP would have would technically basically have control of Diego Garcia. | ||

| The event, of course, is you're exactly right that this is going to escalate today and over the weekend. | ||
| What we're seeing is the fruit, of course, of a very long war against communism, which has taken place in an international front against the Soviet Union and the Chinese Communist Party, but it also has that domestic component, too. | ||
| It's one fight, however. | ||
| When you investigate these groups, you see the same thing. | ||
| Antifa and related groups are receiving funding from Democratic donors, from the Open Society Foundation, from George Soros and his son are connected to these groups. | ||
| And the Chinese Communist Party, through their various media, are funding this as well. | ||
| So the struggle that you're seeing on the streets of Minneapolis is just the latest iteration of a very long war against a very dangerous and evil ideology, the ideology of communism. | ||
| It takes different places. | ||
| It's called by different things. | ||
| But what the Bolsheviks started is continued by neo-Bolsheviks today under the guise of progressivism, under the guise of advancing the agenda of Antifa and related groups. | ||
| So we have to recognize the struggle against the CCP takes place in an international realm. | ||
| It also takes place here In the United States, CCP's efforts to penetrate other allies, as well as, of course, domestically, have been very successful. | ||
| You mentioned Kearney, of course. | ||
| His effort to continue and to develop even further Canada's close ties with the People's Republic of China is now becoming a national security threat for the United States. | ||
