| This evening, the city of Portland, Oregon reported that two people were shot and wounded by Border Patrol agents there, according to the Department of Homeland Security. | ||
| They released a statement claiming in part, quote, the passenger of the vehicle and target is a Venezuelan illegal alien affiliated with the transitional Trende Aragua prostitution ring and involved in a recent shooting in Portland. | ||
| When agents identified themselves to the vehicle occupants, the driver weaponized his vehicle and attempted to run over law enforcement agents. | ||

Sir Dunphy right now, can you please tell us a little bit about what your reaction is to the news? | |
| I'm absolutely furious and heartbroken right now. | ||
| I'm needing to stop what I'm doing here and rush out to my district because it was heartbreaking enough to see what is happening in a different city to know that this was coming to our community and that one of my neighbors in my district is two of my neighbors in my district are now sitting in a hospital bed and hopefully are going to be making it home. | ||
| But this is not the kind of community that not the kind of reaction from the federal government that we should be having. | ||
| This is unacceptable. | ||
| This is horrible. | ||
| The struggle is already real for immigrants and refugees who live in our community, in our neighborhoods. | ||
| And now I have to go home and tell my son and my three grandkids that they cannot stop for law enforcement because they're going to be afraid by looking at law enforcement that they might have the same thing happen to them that happened today. | ||
| That is so unconscionable that just a day later, what happened in Minneapolis happening right here in Portland. | ||
| The use of these forces, the way they're being trained, the way they're masked, the way they drive in unmarked cars, this is not a normal police force and it's functioning much more like the way a paramilitary force functions in a dictatorship. | ||
| And I think Americans should begin to look at it like that. | ||

Well, we know that their presence is not welcome and the way that they're attempting to be law enforcement. | |
| We don't believe that it is law enforcement. | ||
| We believe it is state-sponsored terrorism. | ||
| And so we've made several calls over and over and over again for the president to stop sending wounds to Portland and to leave us alone. | ||
| No, and I think the speed with which they lied about the events in Minneapolis, particularly coming just a day after they changed government websites to lie about what happened on January 6th, was genuinely chilling. | ||
| And once again, it's proof that the purpose of these actions isn't what they say it is. | ||
| It's not about fixing our border. | ||
| It's not about maintaining the law. | ||
| It's about exerting a form of power. | ||
| And then the question is how they might use this down the line. | ||
| Will they use it to intimidate people during midterm elections, for example? | ||
| Trump told the group of reporters, quote, yeah, there's one thing, my own morality, my own mind. | ||
| It's the only thing that can stop me. | ||
| He added, I don't need international law. | ||
| I'm not looking to hurt people. | ||
| When pressed further about whether his administration needed to abide by international law, Trump said, I do. | ||
| But he made clear that he would be the arbiter when such constraints applied to the United States. | ||
| He said, quote, it depends what your definition of international law is. | ||

| This interview conducted by four reporters at your paper, and then you can take it to Anne. | ||
| Yeah, four of my colleagues were in there and they asked him about this. | ||
| And I think that answer was very striking and very important. | ||
| I think in some ways it defines this second term of Trump's presidency. | ||
| He's talking about internationally, of course, but I think even at home we have seen the assertion of power without check in some instances and a lack of belief in checks in other instances that has shaped the presidency in a way we have not seen. | ||
| Now, Ann knows better than I do how this is seen overseas. | ||
| But Ann, I'm kind of curious, you're an expert on autocracy. | ||
| You've written books about this. | ||
| You've spent time in some of these places. | ||
| How do Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping look at comments like that by President Trump? | ||
| How do they look at what he is doing here in terms of what it means for what they can do in their neighborhoods? | ||
| They hear him echoing their arguments. | ||
| So they say we get to decide what the law is. | ||
| I mean, the definition of what an autocracy is, is that there is no rule of law. | ||
| So there is rule by law. | ||
| And so the law is what people in charge say it is at any given moment. | ||
| And law can change depending on what the people in charge want it to say. | ||
| And that characterizes the political system in Russia. | ||
| That characterizes the political system in China, in Iran, in Venezuela, actually, even still, since we haven't changed that regime. | ||
| In fact, so that's the language that they hear backing up their form of government. | ||
| This is the primal scream of a dying regime. | ||
| Pray for our enemies because we're going medieval on these people. | ||

| The people have had a belly full of it. | ||

| This is where a number of people work out of. | ||
| So they're trying to, this is where the activists will come in their convoys in the morning and they will follow the ICE officers and Customs Border Patrol, CBP, and other federal agents that they're working together with in an interagency cooperation because they are attempting to use these operations to stage the provocations like we saw with the woman there, the driver up just a couple of days ago. | ||

| They use these euphemisms like, oh, we're just ICE watchers. | ||

| Well, this is just basically a continuation of what happened here in Minneapolis in 2020, right? | ||
| Which is where the far left is organizing over perceived police misconduct to cause mayhem. | ||
| And I think that it's quite stark that this is happening in January. | ||
| I mean, that's how fired up these people are. | ||
| And this has been building ever since President Trump came back into office. | ||
| So you have this controversial shooting where this ICE officer shoots in self-defense because he's getting hit with a car. | ||
| And that's not what the left is seeing. | ||
| And they're seeing something completely different. | ||
| And so I fully expect that myself, people like Savannah and the rest of the frontlines crew, we're going to be busy this year because the left, from the very local level here in Minneapolis all the way to the national level, they're trying to activate their street activists to get out there in the streets to cause mayhem. | ||
| And it'll be a lot easier for them to do that once it becomes warmer in the spring and summer. | ||
| Julio, we've made a statement on here a lot in talking about this. | ||

| There was these white women being like, shoot me next. | ||
| I'm a mother. | ||
| I have children. | ||
| Shoot me next. | ||
| And so they really just live in an alternate reality. | ||
| That's not surprising. | ||
| Obviously, this is not the most recent example. | ||
| There's many examples of that. | ||
| But yeah, I mean, you know, just as much as anybody, you know, people really thought that they were done with Trump after 2021. | ||
| They thought that he's out of office. | ||
| We're going to get him on all these charges. | ||
| And we'll be finally turned the page on him. | ||
| But not only is he back in office, back in a position of power, but he's going full steam ahead with his campaign promises. | ||
| And that is what is really getting people very, very angry. | ||
| And so thankfully, you know, these situations can get out of control very quickly. | ||
| And of course, they don't like reporters like myself or Savannah because we're actually showing them, showing the public what they actually do, not through their selected propaganda videos. | ||
| But it's necessary. | ||
| Being out in the chaos is absolutely necessary because people need to understand what's happening and they need to actually make an informed declaration. | ||
| Are there not just based on what's happening? | ||
| They're backed up by these politicians like Fry, the mayor, saying, F you, get the F out. | ||
| Your murderer, you know, Waltz saying he's going to call the National Guard to protect Minnesotans or Minneapolis from ICE agents. | ||
| Aren't there tactics working? | ||
| Because ICE is there. | ||
| We got to get to the mass deportation phase. | ||
| 15 to 20 million illegal aliens came in on Biden's watch. | ||
| People admit the number. | ||
| Now, I think we've had 2 million that have gone home, self-deported. | ||
| At least CIS says that's the number. | ||
| I don't know, 500 or 600,000 officially have gone through the ICE process. | ||
| So you're at like 2.5 million out of 15. | ||
| You've got a long way to go. | ||
| And we're already through one year of President Trump. | ||
| Aren't there tactics working? | ||
| Because ICE has got, now they're so hindered. | ||
| And you see this every day. | ||
| They got surrounded the trucks. | ||
| They got the whistles. | ||
| The woman, she got shot because she was blocking. | ||
| She was blocking ICE doing their job. | ||
| And then when they got out to say, hey, lady, get out of the car. | ||
| The one A said, get out of the car. | ||
| She tried to gun it, run down the other agent. | ||
| He shot her. | ||
| But aren't these tactics working by the radical left? | ||
| Because it is slowing down the process. | ||
| And now the cameras are all there. | ||
| You're seeing all the weak politicians. | ||
| You don't see any people running up to the microphone to support the ICE agent, right? | ||
| If CNN asks them, they may say something, but you don't see a boldness, you know, from President Trump's in the administration, Christy Noam. | ||
| These folks are bold. | ||
| Bovino was attacked yesterday in the streets of Minneapolis. | ||
| Not one MSNBC and CNN never showed a second of it, of him being attacked by these radicals. | ||
| So as intense as it is, aren't they actually, these tactics are working for them? | ||
| To a certain extent, yes, I think so. | ||
| Just because, like you said, they're getting backing from the media. | ||
| They've been getting backing from their local and state politicians. | ||
| Now, I will say that actually BBC did a good report just at the end of last year where they interviewed a man from Honduras who was initially saving up money to cross illegally into the United States. | ||
| But because of the show of force that ICE and Border Patrol and DHS is doing within the United States to do interior enforcement, that has dissuaded him and many other people from even making the journey. | ||
| So it is a double, it's a double-edged sword, right? | ||
| And I would say that the self-deportations are happening at a much higher rate than people are expecting. | ||
| Obviously, that's not everything. | ||
| And like, yes, people do need to be found, you know, especially those with like hardened criminal records need to be found because they're probably not going to leave on their own accord. | ||
| But that's why it's so dangerous of what U.S. citizens are doing by injecting themselves into these situations. | ||
| And the vice president, you know, Vice President Vance just yesterday was very correct when he said that this was of her own making. | ||
| You know, this idea that you can just park your car perpendicular to interrupt this convoy and think that nothing's going to happen. | ||
| Like at a minimum, you're not going to be detained to figure out what's going to happen to you, you know, to ascertain what's going on and what your intentions are. | ||
| But that's where we are right now. | ||
| And that's why I'm pretty concerned that this is just going to continue to escalate as the year goes on, especially. | ||
| I mean, who knows what's going to happen in this three years? | ||
| Don't worry about the year. | ||
| Worry about tonight. | ||

| It's going to escalate this weekend. | ||

| That's how much they hate America first. | ||

| It's the biggest national security issue in the history of the country. | ||
| What if we had the founders say, if we had the revolutionary generation said, oh, yeah, on the 250th and the 250th anniversary of what you men and women are fighting for, we're going to, right before that, we're going to have allowed 20 million people to come into this country, foreigners, most of them very bad ombres, definitely don't want to assimilate into our culture. | ||

| So what you're describing is a great replacement. | ||
| I wrote about this two years ago at a time when people said, you can't say that. | ||
| And so instead of me saying it, I cited 84 examples of leftists saying it. | ||
| And it really didn't make any splash in the water because I don't think anyone could refute that. | ||
| But what has happened is we've brought tens of millions of people into this country through poor vetting processes. | ||
| Many of them are radicalized Islamists. | ||
| And so we've seen these groups to start existing in enclaves in various states. | ||
| Certainly, we're seeing this outgrowth in Minnesota. | ||
| We're seeing this outgrowth in Texas through Epoch City. | ||
| And so we started writing a lot about this starting a couple of years ago, citing polling data on extremist views held by the vast majority of people from the countries that a lot of these populations are coming from. | ||
| And they're starting to be rather large populations in Houston and Dallas. | ||
| And a lot of these people are very radicalized. | ||
| And the problem is, is that there has been a conception on the right that the Second Amendment is absolute in terms of you can't have conversations about religious beliefs. | ||
| The problem with that is that George Washington himself addressed this when he was talking about Quakers. | ||
| And he said, yes, the Second Amendment protects religious liberty, but it does not protect invasive ideologies. | ||
| And I'm paraphrasing and adding in some things and getting to the point of what Washington was basically saying. | ||
| And his point was the Quakers, they're adding to the civic community. | ||
| Yes, they have a different viewpoint. | ||
| It is fundamentally different. | ||
| Islam is a conquering ideology. | ||
| It exists to fundamentally alter the culture for the purpose of radically transforming the constitutional order. | ||
| And for the life of me, I don't understand for the vast majority. | ||
| I'm not saying that there's not outliers or a small minority or even a sizable minority that might fit the bill. | ||
| But the vast majority statistically of people who raise their hands and become citizens of this country who are Islamists shouldn't be able to. | ||
| They fundamentally hold core ideologies and strongly held beliefs that are at complete odds with the oath that they're taking. | ||
| And so we're starting to see outgrowths of this problem manifest in various states. | ||
| In Texas, I'm excited. | ||
| You know, if Chip Roy becomes the attorney general there, there's no one that I trust more to actually attack this problem in a way that the courts will recognize as responsible and uphold. | ||
| So there's a real opportunity there, but there's also opportunities in the Texas legislature. | ||
| There's opportunities the governor could be taking. | ||
| We've got to start confronting this. | ||
| We have to stop hiding behind this false notion that we can't stop radical Islam from fundamentally reshaping our entire culture and constitutional order. | ||
| The First Amendment does not protect that conquering ideology. | ||
| We can take steps to stop the actions that are coming out of that ideology that are designed to destroy us. | ||
| Hang on, because the first two times you said, I think you said Second Amendment. | ||
| The Second Amendment may be the solution. | ||
| The First Amendment is what you, I think you meant this. | ||
| Just absolutely. | ||
| I want to make sure. | ||
| I want to go back because there are people on the right in the conservative movement. | ||
| And particularly, you have, I'm a Catholic. | ||
| You have most of the official part of the Catholic Church that wants to have interfaith dialogue. | ||
| You got a bunch of these evangelical preachers that want to have this interfaith dialogue. | ||
| Walk me through one more time. | ||
| I got a couple minutes here. | ||
| I'm going to hold you into the next. | ||
| And Chip is also, Chip Roy is going to be here. | ||
| We're nothing but all-stars today. | ||
| Wade, why is this not a First Amendment religious argument? | ||
| Go back to the part about Washington. | ||
| Why are you not a religious bigot? | ||
| Why am I not a religious bigot? | ||
| Why are we picking on people because they have a different faith than we have, sir? | ||
| Right. | ||
| So being a Muslim and believing in the Quran is a protected act. | ||
| What is not protected is the methodical, organized effort to use that ideology to start working with other people in larger and larger numbers to start undermining our entire order. | ||
| And then, furthermore, to start pushing for the enactment of some of their ideas. | ||
| You know, like if an increasing number of radical Islamists wanted to make child bride marriage legal in the United States, that would not be protected. | ||
| They can believe that. | ||
| They can't do it. | ||
| And so what we're seeing is that the conquering ideology is now being put into practice. | ||
| And it is that practice that is itself not necessarily protected by the First Amendment. | ||
| Sorry, I was going to buy a gun the other day and the Second Amendment was on my mind. | ||
| But it is the First Amendment I was referring to. | ||
| So that's why it is okay for us to say you can believe whatever you want. | ||
| You can't do that in this country. | ||
| You can't force this upon our culture and society. | ||
| And you can't specifically, you certainly can't do it with the express intention of undermining our entire order to undermine the constitutional republic. | ||
