| For the past 43 days, Democrats in Congress shut down the government of the United States in an attempt to extort American taxpayers for hundreds of billions of dollars for illegal aliens and people that came into our country illegally from gangs, from prisons, from mental institutions. | ||
| They wanted to pay them $1.5 trillion, which would have really hurt our health care businesses and our recipients at levels never seen before. | ||
| Today we're sending a clear message that we will never give in to extortion, because that's what it was. | ||
| They tried to extort. | ||
| The Democrats tried to extort our country. | ||
| In just a moment, I'll sign a bill exactly like we asked Democrats to send us all along, many days ago. | ||
| This cost the country $1.5 trillion, this little excursion that they took us on. | ||
| Republicans never wanted a shutdown and voted 15 times for a clean continuation of funding. | ||
| There's never been a time when one or the other party ever didn't sign a continuation. | ||
| It's just a continuation, not a big deal. | ||
| It's a continuation, and we'll talk later. | ||
| Yet the extremists in the other party insisted on creating the longest government shutdown in American history, and they did it purely for political reasons. | ||
| So with all of that, I just want to tell you the country has never been in better shape. | ||
| We went through this short-term disaster with the Democrats because they thought it would be good politically, and it's an honor now to sign this incredible bill and get our country working again. | ||

| It's a disaster. | ||
| And I'm calling today for insurance companies not to be paid, but for the money, this massive amount of money, to be paid directly to the people of our country so that they can buy their own health care, which will be far better and far less expensive than the disaster known as Obamacare. | ||
| And I've had, I think, great support. | ||
| I've even had Democrat support. | ||
| So we want the money that would be going to the insurance company, which is hundreds of billions of dollars. | ||
| You know, their stock prices have gone up by 1,000% in many cases, 1,000% over a short period of time, because our country stupidly pays them so much money with this Obamacare scandal. | ||
| So I want the money to go directly to you, the people. | ||
| And you go out and you'll buy your own health insurance and you'll negotiate different plans and you'll get much better insurance and you will be an entrepreneur for yourself. | ||
| This is the primal scream of a dying regime. | ||
| Pray for our enemies because we're going medieval on these people. | ||
| Here's not got a free shot at all these networks lying about the people. | ||
| The people have had a belly full of it. | ||
| I know you don't like hearing that. | ||
| I know you try to do everything in the world to stop that, but you're not going to stop it. | ||
| It's going to happen. | ||
| And where do people like that go to share the big lie? | ||

| It's Thursday, 13 November, Year of the Lord, 2025. | ||
| We are packed this morning. | ||
| Mark Mitchell, Richard Barris, Andrew Colvett is nice enough to join us from the Charlie Kirk show. | ||
| We're going to talk about Charlie's plan, Rosemary Jenks H-1B visas. | ||
| So we're also going to get Claire Dooley talk, get us up to speed on what happened yesterday at the Maja conference. | ||
| I want to start with Brett, my wingman. | ||
| Brad, what was this all about? | ||
| I mean, I really am lost. | ||
| The Democrats are so strong at the beginning of it and then cratered. | ||
| We have lost, what, six or eight weeks from the economy. | ||
| President Trump said it's a $1.5 trillion hit to the economy. | ||
| It was all about the hill they would die on was the illegal alien health care, which they didn't get. | ||
| We've kicked the CR now through the holidays to essentially, you know, around, you know, theoretically the inauguration we have every four years, I think around the 20th of January of next year. | ||
| But, you know, I don't see this crowd hammering out appropriations bills that can get passed in the House and the Senate. | ||
| So we made back just to an annual CR off of the CR we've been dealing with for the last couple of years. | ||
| You were here, and one of the big issues was the Obamacare subsidies that kind of got bailed out during the pandemic when people really weren't paying attention, and in particular when Biden came in. | ||
| And now you've got this big issue with all those coming out. | ||
| You just heard President Trump right there with another idea. | ||
| I think an idea that a lot of people may say, hey, that sounds pretty good. | ||
| You were here when we had to deal with this the last time. | ||
| So first off, walk me through the shutdown. | ||
| What do you think the Democrats clearly kind of collapsed here at the end? | ||
| And what does it mean? | ||
| Because we still have this big health care issue. | ||
| And, you know, Russ's vote is kind of jammed up now, at least for a while, on the rifts that he can do. | ||
| He's got to wait till, I guess, the next CR or if they make it an annual CR. | ||
| So where are we in this? | ||
| You've been through a couple of these. | ||
| Yeah, well, I think it's politics and control over the narrative at the top level. | ||
| That's what's going on. | ||
| And then there's been a few, you know, people got their fingers up in the air seeing which way the wind's blowing. | ||
| At first, I think it started off kind of in the Republicans' favor. | ||
| The evidence, you know, shutting down the economy for illegal immigrants, et cetera, that narrative was winning. | ||
| Then you had the Virginia, New Jersey, California elections, and the Democrat pulse went up a little bit. | ||
| They got excited and they, oh, we got something going here. | ||
| And then lately, I think the Democrats see Thanksgiving break coming at them. | ||
| And that would be a doozy, bad, very bad for them. | ||
| And so I think they were testing out the healthcare trial balloon. | ||
| The Republicans have no answer on that. | ||
| They got to get one, right? | ||
| The Democrats, back when I was in, it was pre-existing conditions. | ||
| They just push it and push it and push it. | ||
| No end to spending, right? | ||
| So it's like debating or fighting against Santa Claus. | ||
| It's an impossible fight to win when the country's already bankrupt. | ||
| And so what we need, and I think President Trump has expressed some of this, but the healthcare system, it's 20% of the economy, right? | ||
| And, you know, it's kind of the ultimate conceit of the free market logic to think that some genius can control in their head 20% of the economy is just absurd. | ||
| But the hospital systems probably are the key link as far as the politics go. | ||
| And they'll tell you, their CEOs told me, Dave, we love you. | ||
| We love your ideas. | ||
| But we got problems here because we need the formularies and the drugs and the Medicare and the Social Security numbers to make up for our hospital losses. | ||
| And so the Republicans, we need to come up with, you know, in economics, we call it a Pareto efficient outcome. | ||
| We need to make every, we need to come up with some set of policies which makes everybody better off, somewhat better off, without hurting anyone. | ||
| If you hurt anyone, you lose. | ||
| I got that. | ||
| It's great. | ||
| I got that. | ||
| But, you know, we were told, and this had to be the priority of the Republicans after we won, you know, particularly in the House, we had to sort out Obamacare. | ||
| You guys had passed, I think, 40 bills or something to tear it down, but you knew they'd never be implemented. | ||
| When President Trump came in, the speed bump we hit in the first seven months was exactly this. | ||
| Do you see, I don't need to go back over that history, but do you see the Republicans coming together and coming up with a solution? | ||
| I mean, President Trump threw out an alternative last night. | ||
| Do you see the Republicans between now and Christmas break coming up with a solution? | ||
| No, on the show for the past four years, for the past 10 years with you, I've said they don't come together with any solutions. | ||
| That's the problem. | ||
| They let each 250 members go out and run their own campaign. | ||
| There's not a contract with America at the top. | ||
| There needs to be, right? | ||
| We said we were going to repeal Obamacare, and then we had a Paul Ryan with three bucket thing, and President Trump was doing his best to navigate all that thing, but it was an unmitigated disaster. | ||
| And so they need to come forward. | ||
| Yes, they need to put something in place that's very understandable that you can explain in one sentence. | ||
| Simultaneously, Dave, I just wanted people to walk down the path here because this is going to drive us into the 26 midterms or the kickoff of the 26 midterms. | ||
| I guess we've already kicked off, but this will be the big launch. | ||
| We've got, what, 90 days until January 20th to basically come to a resolution on the $7 trillion budget and the $5 trillion of revenue. | ||
| And I know Russ Vote and people have these amazing plans that President Trump signed off on to cut spending and to do it in a smart way. | ||
| But you just saw the Democrats, what they wanted to do there was add over a trillion dollars for illegal alien health care. | ||
| In addition, the one thing they won was to stop the riffs, to absolutely just hard stop the rifts. | ||
| So, folks, in the next, you know, between now and the first of the year, and that goes through Thanksgiving, the holidays, Christmas, the new year, you're going to have two pitch battles here in Capitol Hill. | ||
| I just don't see, I just don't see either one of these sides coming to any resolution. | ||
| My point, I think we're going to kick off 20, you're going to have a lot of hate and discontent in this. | ||
| The Democrats are going to get more wildly violent, crazier, and we're going to be in a fix come January with maybe your CR. | ||
| Hang on for a second. | ||
| We've got, I want to play Mark Mitchell and Alex Jones. | ||
| It's going to take us to break Mark Mitchell and Rosemary Jenks on the other side. | ||
| Let's go ahead and hit it. | ||
| And so when he comes out and talks about bringing the price of turkey down, well, these people can't afford houses to put the turkey in. | ||
| And they're making jokes about you about, well, Trump's plan for affordability on turkey is to like have a three-year turkey loan where you can put no money down. | ||
| And you know what I mean? | ||
| It's like that bad. | ||
| Again, where's the understanding that this needs to be economic populism? | ||
| He ran as a populist and he's surrounded by billionaires. | ||
| And like Bill Pultey might be the nicest guy on earth. | ||
| But when your solution to like the housing crisis is to make prices higher, which is what happens when you juice demand without affecting supply, that's what that 50-year mortgage will do. | ||
| It will make the baby boomer generation more wealthy because their houses prices will go up. | ||
| It will make home builders more wealthy because they can sell higher priced houses. | ||
| And it will make bankers more wealthy because they can siphon off more interest out of young people. | ||
| And what's really sick is that we have a bubble right now. | ||
| And so for Trump to expand borrowing by expanding credit, relaxing the credit requirements, what they're essentially doing is helping struggling people get into the market so that boomers who have made a lot of money can get out of the market at the top. | ||
| That's even more perverse. | ||
| And so that's what their solution was when the real solution should be to crash the market. | ||
| And yes, that would be bad for the economy, but everybody was talking about a controlled detonation of the economy. | ||
| Remember back in January, I think it was. | ||
| We're like, okay, we're in. | ||
| How are we bringing this thing down? | ||
| And you know what? | ||
| That would have been the best thing for people under 50. | ||
| They could have gotten rid of all the H-1Bs and all the visas and then crashed the housing market. | ||
| That would have given every Zoomer a job, a good job, like an Apple development job. | ||
| The market like a fever would also push all the foreigners out of all the illegals. | ||
| And unfortunately, it would be a generational wealth transfer. | ||
| But we still have generational wealth transfers happening right now. | ||
| You have young workers who are underemployed, basically paying for all the social security and Medicare that the boomer generation is demanding to be there. | ||
| And what I'm saying that we're seeing is the fourth turning. | ||
| And I think we're seeing it right now. | ||
| And I think the Israel issue, and I'm not picking on Israel. | ||
| It could have been any issue. | ||
| No, absolutely. | ||
| Exactly. | ||
| That's been now the catalyst. | ||
| That's what captured the public's attention. | ||
| So write that down. | ||
| If you look 20 years ago and ask America about like, well, what did you think about Israel? | ||
| It's like it wouldn't have been that big of a political football and the numbers probably would have been flat across age. | ||
| But then there would have been a huge age spectrum between the youngs and the olds on what like candidate to support, right? | ||
| Now it's the complete opposite. | ||
| People aren't that far apart on Trump between like 18 and 65. | ||
| But on Israel, they're completely far apart. | ||
| The 18 to 29s, only 21% say Israel. | ||
| The 65 and older, it's 59%. | ||
| So they're completely at odds. | ||
| Very clearly, the fourth turning stuff. | ||
| And what the fourth turning tells us is that there's a generation, the boomer generation is the one that, you know, takes over government, grew up where there were strong institutions with strong values, takes advantage of that, becomes more individualistic and selfish. | ||
| And then at the cusp of the fourth turning crisis, there's a change of leadership into the hero generation, which is younger people, but specifically the millennials, people who have come up under them, were raised by them, but have a very different value set. | ||
| And so there's a crisis. | ||
| And after that crisis, I think values are pull, not push, can't push Christianity on people, conservatism on people from a political perspective. | ||
| There's a crisis and people reorder society around a new value set. | ||
| So I think Israel is a very deeply ingrained boomer value. | ||
| They saw the nation be formed. | ||
| They supported it all through the years. | ||
| And it's become a religious sacrament. | ||
| And so the young people see that as a rebellion point. | ||

| I didn't realize how prescient I would be. | ||
| Dave Bratt, we got Mark Mitchell here, but I want you to take, we don't need to get to the Israel issue right now. | ||
| Let's take the first part of it, which is institutions and structures. | ||
| Anytime you have these turn, you know, the kind of arc of American history, you have these turnings. | ||
| The institutions that work for so many, you know, decades turn out that they may have either used up their usefulness or need to be regenerated. | ||
| Your thoughts, sir? | ||
| Yeah, well, I think they're spot on. | ||
| And don't dump. | ||
| And don't dump on my boomers. | ||
| I'll get Mitchell to do that. | ||
| No, no, I won't dump on them. | ||
| I'll just put it in long-run historical context, right? | ||
| The Christian tradition, the Catholics gave us human rights language in 1300. | ||
| Human reason was thriving. | ||
| The enlightenment came upon us with human reason and thinned out our values, right? | ||
| It kind of secularized religion and without meaning in our lives, without that deeper source of connective tissue that links us all together, things start falling apart. | ||
| That's been going on for 100 years. | ||
| And in Harvard, Yale, and Princeton, all their mottos used to be truth for Christ and church. | ||
| Not anymore. | ||
| They're not even pursuing truth anymore with a capital T. | ||
| And so when they're talking about this newer generation, they're growing up without the deeper meaning in their life. | ||
| And I think the kids have a hunger for that. | ||
| And they're going. | ||
| They're going. | ||
| The Orthodox, the Eastern Orthodox religion is growing, I think, faster than any of the others because of the structure and the discipline and the masculine elements. | ||
| And people are starting to take a new look at religion. | ||
| And so that ties into the Israel piece and the values piece and the culture piece. | ||
| And it's good news, but we're nowhere near culmination, right? | ||
| It's the beginning. | ||
| The fourth turning is this AI chaos. | ||
| And we're about ready to start seeing glimmers of hope in the young people, I think. | ||
| In fact, on AI, I'll get it to you, my trusty producer here. | ||

| About $5 trillion. | ||
| It's $5 trillion that looks like the total build out of the data centers, the energy, all of it, of which the U.S. taxpayer is going to be kind of footing the bill for a big part of it. | ||
| So, Mark Mitchell, you've been kind of on a roll. | ||
| You've been at Rasmussen for years with Richard Barris, one of the guys that focuses on MAGA, the president, everything. | ||
| You're quite concerned about some of the direction here, but the deeper issues you got to at the beginning of your, and if people have not seen it, I put it up on Getter. | ||
| One hour that Mark spent with Alex Jones is a kind of must-watch TV. | ||
| And take your number two pencil out when you're watching it because he's got some great insights. | ||
| Your thoughts this morning, sir. | ||
| Yeah, my thoughts are the Republicans are going to lose because they don't understand politics. | ||
| They're still playing yesterday's political game, which is a game about basically two warring sides, two warring ideological sides, locked in a complete stalemate. | ||
| And it's not like that anymore. | ||
| People under 50 don't really care about conservatism. | ||
| The problem is that all of these values have basically failed America. | ||
| And everybody above 50 is generally doing pretty well. | ||
| Everybody under 50 can't afford a house, doesn't want to get married. | ||
| Society doesn't work. | ||
| The churches don't mean as much as they used to. | ||
| The schools suck. | ||
| Like everything's falling apart. | ||
| And then that's what happens on a fourth turning. | ||
| And it's like, okay, you got this wave of boomers. | ||
| They did really well. | ||
| And what's wild is just look at like median homebuyer age, which has gone up from 39 to 59 in the last 20 years. | ||
| So there's an entire slice of the generation that's literally just been priced out of the American dream. | ||
| And the polling tells us this. | ||
| Like everybody thinks that today's children will be worse off than their parents. | ||
| The numbers are just absolutely abysmal. | ||
| So something like the music finally stopped is basically where we're at. | ||
| And you have the Republican Party that's just like, well, you know, they'll be fine just voting for us because nobody likes socialism. | ||
| Well, we're getting to the point where people are considering socialism. | ||
| And I think that this was like the last chance of the right to actually put up or shut up. | ||
| And everybody's seeing that, oh, they're just going to shut up. | ||
| That's exactly what happened. | ||
| Donald Trump had the perfect platform. | ||
| He was given the biggest mandate the Republican Party is ever going to have. | ||
| All he had to do was come in and literally just reform government and smash the oligarchy. | ||
| And he's not going to. | ||
| And so all the young people, all these people, like the Trump voters under 40, they are not conservative at all. | ||
| And they gave Donald Trump a 60% approval rating in the fall or in the spring when Elon Musk and Doge were just completely shock and awe, like tearing the government apart. | ||
| Everybody was validated that, yes, I distrusted the federal government and I was right. | ||
| It sucks. | ||
| And all of a sudden, we just like bottled that back up. | ||
| And now it's like, oh, it's the Republicans and Democrats. | ||
| Who's going to blame more? | ||
| It doesn't matter. | ||
| They're just going to vote for Mamdani because he's going to give them a $10 trillion housing crisis bill. | ||
| And, you know, it'll destroy the Republicans. | ||
| Is this the reason that in political media, you could tell that this shutdown did not generate the interest, did not generate the passion, did not generate the concern of the one that President Trump did at 18 for building the wall and the one that was in 13 with Mike Lee and Ted Cruz about Obamacare? | ||
| That conventional politics and kind of the Republicans and Democrats going out of it, going at it at a superficial level is not, is not what drives people now? | ||
| We don't have daily tracking on party. | ||
| We have daily tracking on Trump. | ||
| And this one was very different, entirely different landscape. | ||
| I've been saying that people want to shut down, but the whole point was to actually reform the system with it. | ||
| And so what happened is Donald Trump's numbers didn't take nosedive at all for the first three weeks of the shutdown. | ||
| It was incredible. | ||
| I didn't know what to expect. | ||
| And people are like, okay, whatever. | ||
| Sure, we're going to shut this down. | ||
| And on the internet, which I admit is not real world, everybody was like, oh, look, we got to get Russ Vogt, the Grim Reaper. | ||
| So what happened is about three weeks into this, when Donald Trump's flying around the world talking to dignitaries and we're building the east wing of the White House and now food stamps are going to get defunded and we're walking into an election. | ||
| All of a sudden, his numbers started tanking. | ||
| And it was very clear that, in my opinion, the Republicans had no plan. | ||
| And everybody went on the internet and everyone was ripping their faces off on the right about Israel. | ||
| And so I think that's what happened. | ||
| And then you look at the elections and it's like, oh, yep, independents and crossover Democrats didn't turn out in New Jersey. | ||
| And some of them might have been affected by what was going on, but clearly some of them, I think, just expected more out of a Republican Party and are not excited to go to the polls. | ||
| Democrats are excited to go vote because they hate Trump and that motivates them. | ||
| On the right, unfortunately, what motivates them is smashing the oligarchy and burning the government down. | ||
| And the right is not doing that. | ||
| And so the left's going to get a chance. | ||
| The pendulum is going to swing back and this might be the last chance. | ||
| I don't know. | ||
| We got 355 days to an election and the Republicans are going to lose this one. | ||
| They are just going to lose it. | ||
| It looked like their plan was a gerrymandering war of attrition that they're now appearing to lose. | ||
| And the generic ballot is, I think, Democrat plus five on the real clear politics aggregate. | ||
| Rich says his numbers are way worse than that. | ||
| I don't want to steal his thunder. | ||
| And we're going to go back in the field soon, too. | ||
| And history tells us they're going to lose it anyways. | ||
| And so at this point, you know, you have a clip about it, but there needs to be drastic action for the Republican Party if they actually want to fix America. | ||
| But I think what's being revealed is that they just don't. | ||
| And JD Vance polls really well, but, you know, 2028, this time we mean it, is not a good campaign slogan. | ||
| We're going to have Andrew Covet's going to be on here, Charlie Kirk. | ||
| Charlie Kirk actually on August 19th put up an action plan. | ||
| In fact, you'll see it. | ||
| I put it up on Getter yesterday. | ||
| see it when we have a clip of Chip Roy and Benny Johnson talk about H1B visas. | ||
| We're going to bring in Rosemary Jenks here in a moment. | ||
| When you say they're going to lose it, obviously nothing in history is actually set in place. | ||
| But you're recommending, Barris is going to come on too. | ||
| You're recommending from what you're seeing, a pretty dramatic action plan to get back to the basics and particularly to get back to the motive power we had in the first hundred days, 200 days of the Trump, of the Trump second term? | ||
| Yeah, they need to do something different. | ||
| People voted for massive change in Washington, D.C., not business as usual. | ||
| And fighting over health care subsidies is business as usual. | ||
| It just is. | ||
| And the Republicans and Congress and the Senate, I understand you have a shiny object in front of you, but you're playing the wrong game. | ||
| The right game is let's arrest some pharma company CEOs. | ||
| The right game is like sue every insurance company for antitrust. | ||
| The right game is like actually audit Medicare spending. | ||
| Like find $100 billion worth of useless like sleep apnea payments or all the double payments that Doge was going after or all these overdiagnosis tests or like actually break the industry capture of the medical regulatory system. | ||
| We have the right people, do we not? | ||
| Like this is the best they're ever going to get in Washington, D.C. | ||
| And unfortunately, I think what's going to happen is none of that will work because these people care about business influences. | ||
| Like literally, Trump is surrounded apparently by billionaires right now, and he has to smash the oligarchy, not be the oligarchy, or the Democrat Party is just going to take over the oligarchy. | ||
| And that's what they're doing. | ||
| They're just passing this political football back and forth. | ||
| And, you know, the music's going to stop. | ||
| Like, the right is turning into a hard right movement. | ||
| The left is turning into a socialist movement. | ||
| And, you know, our dollar is just going to get destroyed. | ||
| And we're giving all the jobs away, the cream of our economy. | ||
| This is a healthcare thing, too. | ||
| I mean, it's really perverse, the healthcare industry. | ||
| 60% of the health medical insurance is actually like employer insurance. | ||
| And the way they price those things is the whole company's age average is taken into account. | ||
| So there's a really perverse incentive to just like push older people out of the workplace. | ||
| And in my opinion, that's probably one of the primary drivers of H-1B that everybody's raging against. | ||
| Is that, well, we have too many old people. | ||
| Well, we have a bottomless well of third world young people that we can import with the H-1B program. | ||
| And I don't care what that does to the American society or culture. | ||
| I'm just increasing profits. | ||
| And so Charlie Kirk's plan, and my understanding is Charlie Kirk was one of the few people that actually understands. | ||
| Hang on, hang on, hang on. | ||
| Don't get ahead of yourself. | ||
| We're going to get to all that. | ||

| We've got Andrew Colvette, Richard Barris talking about Charlie's plan. | ||

| What's your take on this, Congressman? | ||
| Well, first of all, I did listen to virtually all of Byron's interview, and there's a reason that I've endorsed him for governor. | ||
| We agree. | ||
| We are great friends. | ||
| We work together in the House Freedom Caucus. | ||
| We are aligned philosophically on a lot of these issues. | ||
| So I agree with much of what he said. | ||
| But what I would just add is: as you know, in Texas, we've been dealing with the brunt of the illegal immigration influence. | ||
| But now we're seeing, I think, the ramifications of the H-1B system and how it has been abused, in addition to chain migration and diversity visas, which we've been trying to fix for a long time. | ||
| And we've been unable to do so. | ||
| You'll remember back in 2018 with the various bills that were being debated in President Trump's first term, and we were unable to get that resolved as Republicans, and it left it both broken with respect to the illegal immigration system. | ||
| We didn't get the wall fully built. | ||
| We didn't get fixes to all of the asylum problems and the abuse of parole and the catch and release. | ||
| But we also didn't address ending the chain migration diversity visas. | ||
| We had language to do it. | ||
| We just couldn't get the votes. | ||
| So now, what are we dealing with in Texas? | ||
| We're dealing with a massive Islamism problem. | ||
| We're dealing with a massive problem of the advancement of Sharia law. | ||
| We're dealing with a mass community that is growing up that have no desire to assimilate and come here to become American and embrace Western civilization, embrace our Constitution, embrace our values. | ||
| We've allowed the corporatists to define our entire national policy. | ||
| And if I were going to go talk about what Charlie's tweet there was about that summary, which is exceptionally on point, and as he always was when he was starting from faith, family, the foundational principles, and that encapsulates it very well. | ||
| You should be able to own a home. | ||
| You should be able to have Americans getting jobs. | ||
| And the mass deportation is correct. | ||
| The ending H-1B visas is correct, et cetera. | ||
| What I would point out here is that we're dealing with a cultural problem about who we are as Americans. | ||
| Going back a couple of years ago, I was noting 51 million people in this country are foreign-born. | ||
| That's something like 16 or 17% of the population. | ||
| Now, that is higher than it's ever been. | ||
| That is higher than it was in the early 20th century, right? | ||
| When we had the mass. | ||
| Just hold that. | ||
| I want to get to Rosemary Jenks. | ||
| Chip is going to join us tomorrow to talk about this. | ||
| So what Chip is saying, he's actually working on, they're working on some legislation now, Rosemary Jenks, to resolve these problems, H-1B visas and others. | ||
| Can you just give us not an idea what's in it? | ||
| Because I know they're going to launch this and announce it, and you've been working on it, but the mood change up on Capitol Hill that these things have to be addressed now. | ||
| You heard Chip give a great summary of kind of the Charlie Kirk perspective of how bad this has gotten, ma'am. | ||
| Well, I'm not sure that unfortunately there has been an overall mood change in Congress. | ||
| I think there are members of Congress who are figuring this out and who are listening to the American people. | ||
| And obviously, Congressman Roy is one of them. | ||
| There are others. | ||
| But, you know, what we need right now is a turning point. | ||
| You know, speaking of Charlie Kirk, we need to have a national conversation about what our immigration policy should be. | ||
| You know, this, I'll tell you a dirty little secret. | ||
| Our immigration system is working exactly as Congress intended it to work right now. | ||
| This is what they designed it for. | ||
| It is not working for the American people, but it is doing exactly what they intended. | ||
| So we need to step back and have a national conversation about what an immigration policy that serves Americans' interests looks like. | ||
| And the best way to do that is to have a moratorium bill that stops it all right now so that we can have that conversation. | ||
| And that is what Congressman Roy is talking about. | ||
| So an H-1B bill that we've been talking about, because we think the whole thing's a scam, to shut it down, what's going to be the pushback on that from industry? | ||
| Because right now, as you know, Rosemary, they have not shown us one billet that an American can't fill either to an education level or job experience. | ||
| This is all about driving down wages. | ||
| So If Roy and others put forward a bill to basically put the whole system, the H-1B system, on a hiatus, what is industry and what are the tech bros going to say? | ||
| Well, first of all, what Congressman Roy is talking about is not just putting H-1B on hiatus. | ||
| He's talking about the entire immigration system. | ||
| So legal immigration, non-immigrant workers, all of it. | ||
| But there is going to be absolute caterwalling from the tech industry. | ||
| They're going to claim that, you know, they're going to go out of business. | ||
| And a lot of the Chamber of Commerce types will claim the same thing. | ||
| The fact is, there will be short-term dislocations, short-term pain if this is enacted. | ||
| But there's going to be plenty of warning for these companies that are dependent on, or say they're dependent on cheaper foreign labor, because this is going to take some time. | ||
| It's not going to be enacted by Congress overnight. | ||
| We have a lot of work to do to build support for this kind of legislation. | ||
| But the fact is, American companies need to start now weaning themselves off this cheap foreign labor and hiring Americans. | ||
| It's good for America. | ||
| It's good for American workers. | ||
| It's good for our economy. | ||
| So start now. | ||
| And the dislocation, the disruption will be significantly less when we get to a point that finally Americans' voices are actually heard in Congress. | ||
| We have, is it correct? | ||
| I think we have 12 million STEM workers, people that are trained either through education and/or training in industry that are not in the workforce, are out of work now in a STEM profession, correct? | ||
| So there's a pretty deep pool of candidates out there. | ||
| Absolutely. | ||
| And we know that there has been massive discrimination against American workers over the age of 40 who are becoming too expensive and the employers can fire them and bring in a younger, cheaper entry-level foreign worker at a much lower salary. | ||
| We also know, of course, that young Americans are being just completely ignored in tech fields because the foreign student to OPT to H-1B pipeline is so robust. | ||
| And so it's time to break those. | ||
| It's time to break the pipelines. | ||
| It's time to break the dependence on foreign workers. | ||
| Americans absolutely need this to happen and we need it to happen now. | ||
| It's not going to happen instantly, but we need it to happen and we need to have this conversation. | ||
| And I think that is the big thing that Congressman Roy's legislation will generate is this national conversation on what is the immigration policy we need. | ||
| Do we need any immigration at all? | ||
| You know, maybe we want to limit two spouses and minor children. | ||
| Maybe we want to have no immigration for some significant period of time. | ||
| We've got to have that conversation. | ||
| The American people have never been asked what immigration policy do you want. | ||
| It's time. | ||
| The dislocations, though, for the tech, for the tech bros, because they're going to catwaller with their lobbies and all that. | ||
| If you plan ahead and we plan ahead starting now, it won't be that bad because you've got a tremendous pool plus American citizens, not foreign students, but American citizens coming out of university every year. | ||
| If you got serious and planned this out, the disruptions and displacements would be pretty small, correct? | ||
| Yeah, that's absolutely true. | ||
| We have plenty of workers in this country. | ||
| And even if you have to take a worker out of college and train them to do whatever it is you do, whether it's building ships or building missiles or whatever, there will be time to do that if you start now. | ||
| So if employers want to avoid the economic disruptions, they need to start now and start focusing on American workers. | ||
| Rosemary, you're going to be a main part of actually getting the narrative set and the messing, all that. | ||

| Donald Trump's still out there defending it with billionaire propaganda on TV, giving his movement a smack in the face when his movement, like I don't know if everybody remembers, but there was a pretty major event, the Christmas massacre of Ramaswamy back in December of 2024. | ||
| The youth yeeted him out of the conservative movement because of his defense of the Indian work culture. | ||
| No Americans aren't stupid. | ||
| No Americans aren't lazy. | ||
| And the idea that we don't have these people is retarded. | ||
| I apply for some major jobs in the tech industry. | ||
| And every time I go for a job I want, I've had to go against 500 people just like me and 500 Indians. | ||
| And they hire the Indians and everybody knows that every one of these tech companies is chock full of them because we've given the best parts of our economy away to the rest of the world. | ||

| Healthcare is going to destroy our republic. | ||
| And the youth know it because their healthcare, their individual plans, cost almost as much as rent. | ||
| Talking about a 10% reduction because of price negotiation with insurance companies is not adequate. | ||
| It's old politics. | ||
| You will fail. | ||
| The oligarchy needs to be smashed. | ||
| The only question is, is it with a right hook or a left hook? | ||

| If Denver wants to put up a chart just for 10 seconds, here's the inflation story, right? | ||
| In 10 seconds, there's Trump on the far left at 0.1 and 1.4. | ||
| Then, under Biden, you get to add all those numbers together. | ||
| The 9-1 is the peak, and then you add 5% and 4 and 3, and you get 21% inflation under Biden. | ||
| And what no one has explained to the American people, and President Trump ought to put that chart up on TV and say, guess what? | ||
| That 20% price increase, the destruction of the dollar, that's what you're feeling. | ||
| That does not go away, right? | ||
| When you see that 3.5% at the end, that doesn't mean the 20% went away. | ||
| The 20% is locked in permanently, and you've lost 20% of your retirement account. | ||
| They've destroyed 20% of the purchasing power of your retirement account. | ||
| And Trump needs to explain that because that's what he's getting judged for. | ||
| This is why the Bricks Nations made a move on the dollar, the de-dollarization move. | ||
| One, it's to take the United States down, but two, they were getting stiffed. | ||
| What does this mean? | ||
