First is country music star, actor and producer George Strait.
Great.
donald j trump
Over an extraordinary four decade career, George has sold more than 120 million records worldwide, amassed 60 number one hits, wow, and produced 33 platinum certified albums, more than any other living American.
That is amazing.
He's believed by millions of people to be just as good as you can get and he's beloved by hundreds of millions of people all over the world.
He's really something and they call him the king of country and we know him very well, George Strake.
Second is actor, singer, philanthropist and star of the Broadway stage.
One of my favorite talents.
I think he's one of the greatest talents I've ever actually seen.
I've always said, And just so we don't get in trouble, I'll say among, but among the greatest artists in the world are the Broadway London actors back and forth.
That's all they want to do is they want to do Broadway and they want to do London.
They want to do eight shows a week, including matinee on Wednesday.
And if you said make a movie, they can't even think about it.
If you say go on television, they don't want to, all they want to do is be on the stage, the live stage, and it's amazing.
But I've always said that the most talented people, and this man may be the most of all, Michael Crawford is being honored.
Next, we look forward to honoring three times Oscar nominee, Golden Globe Award winner, an action movie icon and a friend of mine.
Very unique man.
He's somebody that doesn't do these things.
I said, I wonder if he'll accept, because some people don't really want to be honored.
They don't care.
But he was very honored to be honored, I will tell you.
He was a very special guy.
A real talent, never been given the credit for the talent.
There was nobody else could have done the roles that he did like he did.
I'm not even close.
And they've tried and it didn't work out too well.
His name is Sylvester Stallone.
Fourth will be celebrating one of the most revered singers of the American disco era, Gloria Gaynor.
Best known for her chart-topping 1978 hit, I Will Survive.
Gloria won the 1980 Grammy for Best Disco Recording, and her song was inducted into the National Recording Registry in 2016, four decades later.
Gloria won a second Grammy in 2020 for her gospel album, Testimony.
which is incredible, truly a historic achievement, not only in terms of the years that have gone by to be great that long, but to have the two top, two top of anything in that span of time and with that kind of period between is pretty amazing.
And finally, we'll be honoring one of the greatest rock bands of all time, KISS.
APPLAUSE So KISS was formed in 1973 in New York City by founding band members and incredible people, by the way, Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Ace Fraley, and Peter Chris.
KISS became a global phenomenon, sold more than 100 million records worldwide and produced 30 gold albums and lots of other things they produced.
They made a fortune.
And they're great people and they deserve it and they work hard and they're still working hard.
And it's an honor to present Chris.
KISS.
Thank you very much.
unidentified
Got it?
Yeah.
Thank you.
What exactly is happening?
Because just on the face of it, one of the concerns I've read is, even if you've gotten people who have said, I'll take the Kennedy Center honors, there's usually dozens and dozens of people who show up to perform in their honor.
Will they get performers out?
The idea of a president of the United States hosting, what's going on at the Kennedy Center?
jonathan allen
Yeah, I don't mean to say that we're getting into the D list of celebrities, but we're certainly getting into or entertainers.
We're certainly getting to a point where there's a very small pool because what's going on at the Kennedy Center is a takeover by the president that isn't just about who gets to sit on the board, but it's literally down to him choosing who's going to be a recipient of awards.
And you look down the list that he named today, Kiss the band headlined by Gene Simmons, who was a candidate, I guess, on the celebrity apprentice.
You look at Sylvester Stallone, a huge Trump supporter, and we all love Sly Stallone and Rocky fifty years ago or so, but it's certainly not the kind of lifetime achievement that you normally see in a Kennedy Center honor.
So basically, it looks like the standard is as long as you have supported Donald Trump in the past, you could be a Kennedy Center honorary.
So I guess I should I should, by the way, I should say one more thing, if you don't mind, Chris.
I think we heard him talking about politics earlier than I think we got a clip of that.
unidentified
Okay.
donald j trump
They shouldn't make this political because they made the Academy Awards political and they went down the tubes.
So they'll say, Trump made it political.
But I think if we make it our kind of political, we'll go up, okay?
unidentified
Let's see if I'm right about that.
jonathan allen
Our kind of political, Trump said.
And again, if you look at the list of honorers, it's clear where that's headed.
steve bannon
Burn it down.
They're just anti-institutionalists.
You know, Alex Wagner the other day.
We're the ones that protect the institution.
We are the ones that protect the institutions.
No, Alex, we're grabbing the institutions and taking power.
As the American people, the way our constitutional system works gave President Trump the authority to do.
So we're going to deconstruct the administrative state, we're going to purge the deep state and the executive branch, we're going to take over the Senate, and we control the House already.
Oh, by the way, the judiciary.
You're not going to get your judges through.
They're all going to be Trump judges.
I want you to, you're all in the fetal position, so I'm going to give you something really to suck your thumbs about.
We are in charge.
Okay?
The American people have spoken.
unidentified
All right, everyone.
dave brat
If that doesn't jack you up a bit, I don't know what will.
Steve Bannon seizing the institutions.
Rocky in the background.
One of the greatest movies ever made.
In my view, I'm going to get in trouble with my wife at home for that one.
But this is a return to the 80s.
Seizing the institutions.
I love this.
Kiss, Rocky, Sylvester Stallone.
at the Kennedy Center.
If that's not seizing the institutions, I don't know what is.
So I personally love it.
DC's being shaken.
We're returning to peace around the world, hopefully.
We're returning to peace in the streets.
The stock market likes it.
The markets are ripping up.
It's unbelievable what's going on.
Huge capital investment coming our way, ten trillion dollars.
Tariffs are having their anticipated effect on the rest of the world, both politically and economically.
Today's show, you're going to love.
We're going to cover the many conspiracies that are no longer conspiracies.
They are all going to grand jury because the evidence is overwhelming.
And so today on the show, we have Colonel Derek Har Harvey, Sam Fattis, and then the Nixon piece that Steve did the other day with Michael, Patrick Leahy, and Jeff Shepard.
I loved it.
My wife and I are going to be watching that thing tonight.
We should have watched it last night because I'm interviewing him right now.
But that kind of teases up everything, right?
The JFK files have been released a little bit more.
It gives us a little bit more hints that the American people have been on the right page.
But let's just get right to the news of the day.
It's an honor to bring in Colonel Derek Harvey, and we're going to cover the breaking Russian news first.
We had the meetings.
with Zelenskyy today, who, you know, took extreme liberties, not of manners and decorum, but just out of control, imbalance of power between the United States and him in the White House, in front of President Trump and JD Vance.
Just kind of a stunning setup.
And I don't think he's holding too many cards, but that's why we brought in the expert.
And so, Colonel Derek Harvey, can you bring us up on the news of the day and what that set of meetings means?
And then we'll get to Friday when we're done with today.
Thank you for being with us.
derek harvey
Great to be here.
Well, Dave, I think that President Zelenskyy and his main backers, the UK, France, for example, they're the maximalist groups that are, you know, holding out for a very hard line position in trying to bring this war to an end completely on their terms.
Russia really no negotiation.
Russia has to not only cede the territory they've taken in the invasion, you know, three and a half years ago, but they also have to cede Crimea and other territories taken back in 2014, et cetera.
So there's that.
But NATO is not united.
You know, you've got Germany and Poland and others are very tired and want to get out of business with Russia.
So I think what we're going to be seeing here is an effort by the president to move the ball forward in a deal, possibly a framework of a deal with Putin that would address things with carrots and sticks,
trade, technology access, help with the economy for Russia at the same time., you know, we still have the, you know, the levers of the stick, you know, the sanctions and things like that that are there too.
But it's going to be a very difficult thing because Putin is playing the long game.
He sees the weakness in NATO.
He knows that America First does not really want to be engaged and he sees popular support for Zelensky and those positions there by his administration deteriorating rapidly.
dave brat
Yeah.
How do you frame the following, right?
We're we believe in the nation state.
The globalists want one world government.
NATO and the Europeans are both probably more towards the globalist position.
And so we're in a precarious position where we're saying to a sovereign state, Ukraine, hey, your days are up.
But it's kind of because we're so principled like Cub Scouts, right?
In no way are they a sovereign state.
Our CIA and the Europeans have been playing on this.
And NATO has been adding, you know, sixteen countries since the deal in 1991, where we gave our oral promise that we wouldn't move east.
Seventeen countries later now and an unelected president in Zelensky.
And we're supposed to, you know, so how do you?
appreciate that situation?
He has been acting on the behest of NATO and the United States, and now to think that he's going to call the shots as the leader of a sovereign country, supposedly, when the whole global order and potential nuclear war is at stake, how do you assess that state of affairs?
derek harvey
Well, he's in a very weak position in so many ways, but he's obstinate and he has the support of Paris and London and some other capitals and the EU leadership and many in NATO.
So that's where his strength comes from.
But he is increasingly isolated, and so that's going to be a challenge., but you know, they can't win the war and that's just a reality.
And I don't think the United States wants to take, you know, significant risk by removing restrictions on the use of US offensive military capabilities that have been provided.
And I don't think we want to provide more offensive capability to them either.
We want to get on with building peace in the area and rebuilding NATO and, you know, developing trade and economic efforts that will bring, you know, Russia and Germany's interests more in line, I think.
I think there's a number of avenues here, but keep in mind, this is very important, Dave.
Ukraine's government was toppled by a, you know, that was aligned with Russia was toppled by an Obama air color revolution, okay?
And you go back to, you know, to all of that, we wouldn't be in this place today if it hadn't been for the maligned behavior of the Obama administration and their State Department intelligence services that were playing games in a way that they should never have been.
dave brat
Yeah, that's great.
I'm going to hold you over the break if you can stay with us., that would be super.
And let's dig a little deeper.
I just want to know, is his approval necessary, right?
He's saying no Ukrainian land.
He's making the deal impossible, right?
It's very clear to most people that Putin's going to take the Donbass and, you know, the South and maybe out here more.
And so after the break, we'll come back and assess that.
What you're kind of using the long run leverage we have over him.
Do we have short run leverage to just ignore him?
Because I think that's the route Trump's going to end up taking one way or the other.
And so stay tuned after the break, and we're right back with more on Russia Putin.

My stuff's up there.
Brad Economics, if you want all the charts.
And Charlie Kirk, they just said, and boy, did Charlie do a great job today on Squackbox with the Conservative and the New York Times.
Totally respectful, great dialogue.
But Charlie just said, you know, this establishment deep state crew is unrepentant in any way, shape or form going back to the 08 financial crisis, all the way through the middle class, the working class.
has been devastated and he held their feet to the fire and said it's our turn right now.
And he's getting a little grief for the populist movement not telling the truth.
And Charlie right back, he's you're telling me the establishment's been telling the truth, just perfect Charlie Kirk.
And so markets are up, the financial channels unrepentant and they've just been fully on fire.
But all the experts, all the PhD economists out there saying, oh, this Trump tariff is going to cause inflation.
The latest data says no.
The economic data are looking pretty good and our guys at Birch Gold have had the story straight for a long time along with Stephen K. Bannon.

All right, we're going back to Colonel Derek Harvey following up right where we left off on are the days of Zelenskyy numbered that does he get to hold up global relations single handed with absurd conditions that no land will be negotiated in any way?
What does Trump do if he holds that position?
derek harvey
Well, I don't see how Zelenskyy can hold the position over the long haul because there will be too much pressure, not just from President Trump, but also from European countries and leaders, international community, And importantly, from within his own country, because the numbers have flipped over three years.
We're sixty, you know, a large percentage, sixty five percent or so, according to the latest Gallup.
How reliable those polls are there, I'm not sure, but it shows that there's just a ground swell in a movement towards wanting a peaceful outcome, getting this war over.
Ukraine's exhausted.
Europe is tired of it.
The international community wants to get on with things in my view.
And Trump's meeting with Putin on Friday, and he's going to have a serious talk with him.
He said that there has to be movement.
And then the second thing is he's going to follow up with additional meetings, which is going to be important with Zelensky and Putin.
The timing of those, I'm not sure, but the president has clearly laid out there's going to be a series of meetings to try and get this resolved as quickly as he can.
dave brat
Great.
Derek Harvey, I've never gotten a chance to congratulate you on your position, special assistant to the President of the United States after serving our country in the armed forces.
So thank you for your service and congratulations on your new position and on the show you get into intelligence issues quite a bit.
We got Sam Fattis coming up.
I'm going to ask you both an impossible question that's kind of leading, but I just kind of want to get your response.
It just seems that there's so much of these conspiracies that are lining up and they're no longer conspiracies.
The evidence is coming in from Tulsi Gabbard going to grand jury.
And I could just read off a list.
The Nixon case we've got Michael Patrick Leahy and Jeff Shepard coming up next with some receipts there.
JFK recently released new files.
Files from our CIA, from John Ratcliffe, Biden laptop, Biden checks, Hillary Bleach Bit and Hillary Foundation, new receipts coming in in the last week.
Federal Reserve, 2008 banking crisis, no one goes to jail.
That one's totally unresolved.
No one goes to jail.
Big Pharma, Fauci, RFK Jr., the CIA, 70 coup d'état.
USAID, media funded, CIA cutouts at every turn.
Why don't you just, it seems that we need some new vocabulary.
I apologize folks.
They installed some new technology in my office today.
But what it seems like we need some new terminology for what has been going on in this country, this total loss of institutional credibility.
The receipts are in Bannon called his show this morning seizing the institutions for this reason.
How do you characterize this fifty year swath of corruption from the deep state up in DC with our elites and the establishment who are supposed to be leading us in the right direction?
Derek Harvey.
derek harvey
Well, I call it abdication of the leadership of the Congress and that's both sides of, the Senate and the House of Representatives of their oversight, and they've passed the buck to allow far too much autonomy and decision-making for the execution and implementation of rules across the departments and agencies, and also for the executive branch.
But just even recently, you didn't mention the COVID disinformation.
dave brat
Right, right.
derek harvey
The January 6th information that's rolling in.
And I just go back.
and Sam Fattis can talk about this, but Eisenhower warned about this, but we've just built up more institutions with the DNI and the Department of Homeland Security and the Patriot Act and others that have empowered unaccountable people, okay?
And I just leave it with this, Durham in his report, he said there's no need for recommendations for changes because no one is conducting, I'm parafrasing, no one is conducting oversight, no one is enforcing the laws, the rules and the policies that have been in place to make sure that the system works as it's supposed to.
Honestly, with integrity.
So why should I make any recommendations?
dave brat
Wow.
yeah, that's just a stunning admission.
Colonel Derek Harvey, thanks for being with us today on the war room.
Congratulations on your new position serving the country as you always have.
God bless you.
Keep up the great work and hope to talk to you soon.
derek harvey
Thank you.
God bless you.
dave brat
You bet.
All right, Sam Fattis with us, former CIA operative.
Sam, why don't you just follow up with the same logic?
How do you characterize this long, long laundry list?
Now, they're not conspiracies, they're not theories, they're not conjecture.
We have evidence and the receipts.
The mainstream media won't ever tell you about that when they just make fun of Tulsi and say she's making groundless claims.
She's handed in hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of pages across the board.
And so how do you characterize this last fifty year period?
And Steve Bannon earlier today was talking about seizing the institution.
So put it all together for us, how do the American people understand what has happened to this great country and how do we clean it up?
sam faddis
Look, we have allowed the creation, the growth of a completely extra constitutional, at a minimum, fourth branch of government unaccountable to the American people.
And on any given day, the folks that really run the country and have been running the country for a long time are in that fourth branch of government, that fourth branch of government being all of these giant government agencies.
And look, I have nothing but respect for a lot of the folks, the rank and file in places like CIA, FBI, outdoing dangerous work and, you know, putting their lives on the line.
But certainly in the top ranks of these organizations, you got folks that have lost the bubble and they, they, they now belong to the world.
They now believe they rule the country and they're not really, it's not just nobody's holding them.
I mean, nobody is holding them accountable and they certainly do not believe they are accountable.
And increasingly, they go to Washington and spend their entire lives in Washington.
So it's 40 years later and you're a clapper at the top of one of these agencies.
And when Trump wins in 2016, he famously expires.
Drive through Pennsylvania where I live and look at all the closed mills and everybody shopping in the Dollar Store.
Like, no, you didn't.
So it is a it is not just out of touch.
It believes it is above and beyond the Constitution.
And I've certainly had this conversation with you and with Steve.
These guys at the top here are the folks that put together what amounts to a nine year long coup against Donald Trump.
They have no intention of going quietly into the night.
I mean, if you think that you put two guys at the top of CIA, Radcliffe and his deputy, and now you have transformed that agency and you're in control of it, I don't know what to say to you.
You're living in another dimension.
That is not a condemnation of everyone at CIA.
Just to say that place is filled with at the senior levels, folks that were put there by someone like John Brennan.
And still, even if they don't take direct orders from Brennan, are in fact pursuing his agenda.
unidentified
So.
sam faddis
So we got a lot of work to do and a lot of house cleaning.
dave brat
Yep, back with Sam Fattis after the break.
We're going to follow up there.
It appears, you know, these Epstein files caught, caught everybody.
And the big issue there is everyone's blackmailing everybody.
And that's why it seems that they can't go in and clean house at the CIA or the FBI or the State Department.
If you wipe out the top levels, you get threats with blackmail of every sort.
And so we're going to ask Sam Fattis about that after the break.
So stay tuned to the war room back with Sam Fattis, former CIA operative war room favorite.
unidentified
War Room.
Here's your host, Stephen K. Vance.
you you All right, everybody.
dave brat
Incredible show in the war room today.
The list of horribles, the conspiracies were unpacking, the receipts are coming in.

It's good news.

that assurance.
Great, great company, great supporters of the war room, so help support them as well.
All right, back in the war room with the great Sam Fattis, former CIA operative.
And so we were just chatting over this list of the horribles, the receipts we have and all these conspiracies, and Sam, you have a lifetime here with expertise.
Is there any way, how do you think about, is there any way you categorize this, a list of criteria, what is the most serious of these cases that face this country?
Because it's overwhelming.
So what do we tackle first?
What's the first level significance for our country?
sam faddis
I think you got to jump on the stuff that's the most immediate.
And in other words, we got nine years of in various iterations what amounts to a coup against Donald Trump, an attempt to subvert the Constitution, but, you know, agencies trying to decide that they get to choose who, who's allowed to sit in the White House.
We got to attack that and we got to hold people responsible.
And that isn't charging John Brennan with perjury.
I'm talking.
Yeah.
Significant charges, felonies, convictions, and imprisonment.
And by the way, that will not be a easy.
That will take massive resources.
Let's focus on the immediate issue.
We can get around to asking the CIA where these files about the JFK assassination have been for fifty years, whatever it is, more than that now, later.
But right now, we got, we got to, we got to do that, and we have to get control of these institutions.
Again, I mean, with all respect for Director Radcliffe at CIA, again using CIA only as an example, he should have fired every top executive on the seventh floor day one before he sat down in his chair.
That's the reality.
unidentified
Yeah.
dave brat
Yeah, that's the I know it makes the American people scratch their head.
Let's go to the current news of the day.
We covered with Colonel Harvey as well.
But Russia discussions today, Trump with Zelenskyy.
Zelenskyy's saying I'm not compromised.
We're not moving any lines with respect to Ukraine.
Of course that's not the case.
Russia's winning easily.
And the question in my mind and most people I think that are saying is whether it's Kiev or not Kiev, right?
That's more the question.
If he thinks he's going to run this war forever, he's going to lose his whole country.
And I don't think that's going to happen.
Colonel Harvey said there will be enough international pressure against him, but the UK and France are still supporting him.
But I think Trump wants a deal now and he's got the call Friday with Putin.
And so how do you see closure coming about here?
sam faddis
Well, look, as you've noted, Zelenskyy's writing checks he can't cash, right?
He's way over his skis.
The guy's well, I don't know that he ever had a mind.
He's lost his mind.
Okay, you you're going to make the decisions all by yourself.
Well, you're not fighting the war by yourself, buddy.
And if you were in it by yourself, the Russians would have been in Kiev years ago.
So the reality is you're going to have to face What the facts here.
The facts are you're going to have a peace treaty and pieces of Ukraine currently occupied by Russia will continue to be occupied by Russia, exactly what Donald Trump said.
Now, does that mean every square inch the Russians occupy right now, you have to give up on?
That's not what I'm saying.
I'm saying you won't get all that territory back.
That's the reality.
And look, the Europeans can do what they do best, which is talk a lot.
But if Zelenskyy thinks he's going toast.
He's done.
The entire British army has a grand total of 17,000 deployable guys.
The Russians will kill that many in a month.
So that's where we are.
What happens to Zelensky?
I don't know.
Maybe somebody in Ukraine topples him and that's not code for the CIA.
Maybe there are people in Ukraine who say we're done with you.
Maybe one day you find Zelensky got on a plane and disappeared to the AAE where he's apparently been sending money for some period of time.
I don't know, but I do know he's got a wake up call coming.
He has to accept the.
Except in the real world, he will not get all of his territory back.
I'm not a fan of Putin's.
I'm just telling you what the reality is, what the facts are.
Yeah.
dave brat
Yeah.
In a closing minute, Sam, you know, the populist base, Mega, everyone watching this show is scratching their head on this one.
They say, why doesn't Trump just take back all the satellite stuff, all the weaponry stuff, all the everything and it's over?
And then Big Mouth can be quiet a little bit.
Why hasn't that happened?
sam faddis
Well, because obviously there are implications for us, unfortunately.
Because even though Trump wasn't in office, the United States provided all this.
The spectacle of the United States taking everything, walking away and letting Ukraine just simply fall to the Russians completely has implications for us all over the world, just like us fleeing Afghanistan did.
So, you know, we're stuck to that extent.
But I expect some really hard nose conversations between our guys and Zelenskyy.
And I expect some senior Ukrainians to tell Zelenskyy, hey man, I don't know what you're thinking, but if the Americans walk, I'm packing up my family and going because the Russians will dro drive to Kiev in about two days.
dave brat
Yeah, yeah.
All right, Sam Fanus, a very wise man with always sober analysis.
I love having him on.
It's just refreshing to hear a very mature voice on very tough issues that some people are just, you know, slight and don't give them serious consideration.
So Sam, thanks always for your hard work and your super analysis on the war room.
God bless you.
unidentified
Thank you.
sam faddis
Thank you, sir.
Thanks for having me.
dave brat
You bet always, always.
All right, folks, you're gonna get a treat right now.
We're gonna go to a bit of a cold open here to set up the Nixon conspiracy and wait till you hear this story.
This will blow your mind as well.
Fire it up.
michael patrick leahy
Secret meetings between judges and prosecutors, evidence hidden from defense attorneys, biased juries, an unaccountable prosecution force packed with political enemies, congressional leaders who are out to get the president, and a dishonest media.
This is how the deep state took down a president and created the playbook they've used ever since.
dave brat
All right, it's an honor to I'm not introducing them.
Michael Patrick Leahy and Jeff Shepard to the war room they were on with Steve yesterday on this Nixon conspiracy.
Thank you, gentlemen, for being on.
If you don't know Michael Patrick Leahy, he's been a mega populist soldier for decades.
He helped me back when I was a rookie liberal arts college professor in economics and was a voice of strength and a solid foundation and a cheerleader for me.
So he's a good friend as well.
And boy, does this story just fit?
It's so overwhelming.
There's so many similarities and commonalities between the movie you have and today, everything we've covered on the show today, this list of horribles.
And so, Michael, why don't you just tease us off?
Well, first of all, tell everyone where they find this movie, folks, go watch this thing because you have to educate your family, your kids, the war room, the posse, everyone needs to learn all this stuff.
History matters.
Michael, fire away.
michael patrick leahy
The documentary is from War Room Films and you can go right now to warroom.film, warroom.film and you can just put your email address in and download the entire one hour and thirty minute documentary, How the Deep State took down Richard Nixon.
We announced this, launched it yesterday morning on Bannon's War Room.
And guess what?
In 24 hours, Dave, we've had over 13,000 downloads.
I don't know how many we're going to have now, but we this afternoon sent out an email to all 13,000 who've downloaded it, and we want to get your reviews of this documentary.
We'll publish them, and if you want to send me on X your review, just go to Michael P. Leahy.
So here's the deal.
I interviewed on my radio program about a year and a half ago my good friend Jeff Shepard.
Jeff was in the Nixon White House.
He was a Harvard Law School graduate.
And his first job was as a White House fellow.
Then he spent five years as an attorney in the Nixon White House.
He transcribed the smoking gun tape.
He spent more than twenty years writing and researching about it, and we discovered something that is really amazing.
No one else has ever reported this, Dave Bratt.
There are at least a dozen due process violations for Watergate defendants and Richard Nixon that are egregious.
For instance, the secret meetings where judge John Saricka talked and strategized with the special prosecutor, Leon Jaworski.
That's just one example of it.
And then what was really stunning was that Jeff told me about the role that John Dean really played.
And this might be a good time for Jeff to come in and talk about John Dean that he knew.
dave brat
Yeah, well, first, Mike, go over Saricka and Jaworski.
Why does that matter?
The people are listening.
So what happened?
What's so bad?
And then we'll go to Jeff.
michael patrick leahy
Yeah, well, look, if you are charged with a crime, you have certain Fifth Amendment due process rights and a fair trial.
from an unbiased judge is part of that.
And it is absolutely unfair for the judge to meet secretly with the prosecutor and not have your defense attorney there.
That is the epitome of unfairness.
And that's what happened as part of this process.
dave brat
Yeah, unreal.
Okay, Jeff, you got two minutes to drop a couple of bombs.
So give us your best smoke and guns quick and we'll come back to you guys right after the break.
geoff shepard
Sure.
There are four phrases today that are bandied about with regard to Trump.
Deep state, false narrative, fake news.ws and most of all law fair.
But those things existed during Watergate.
We just didn't know about them.
We had different names for them, but they've started to come out.
And what they show is the prosecutors and the judges and the eastern liberal establishment hated Nixon so much they were willing to cheat to drive him out of office.
You can imagine that because you can tell the hatred for Donald Trump today.
I mean, seething hatred by lots of people.
And you can imagine a situation where those people would be perfectly willing to cheat, to keep him from power, to throw him out of office.
That's what we have discovered happened during Watergate.
We didn't know it at the time.
The top four prosecutors took their records with them home when they left office.
And that hid the impropriety.
But there is a paper trail.
These meetings between Judge Sureka and the special prosecutor, We can account for about 10 of them.
Now, it wasn't just a chance happening where they talked strategy.
They talked about rulings that were going to come before Sareka for decision.
And They met secretly in advance to brief him and they left a paper trail.
So the issue is not were there these secret meetings?
Was there suppression of evidence?
We have the memos.
We can say, well, do they accurately describe it?
But you can't.
Nobody.
dave brat
Jeff right back with more analysis with Michael and Jeff.
Just unbelievable breaking news.
Again, I'm Nixon this time back after the break.
unidentified
Here's your host, Stephen K. Vann.
Here's your host, Stephen K. Vann.
dave brat
All right, back in the war room on Nixon with the great Leahy and Shepard with us.
They just gave a great summary of what's going on today with their comments on Nixon.
The Democrats heads popping off, seething, seething in anger.
Just watch Joan Meek every morning and watch Steve and the cold opens that they put together.
They're just tremendous.
And then the Republicans on Nixon backstabbing him.
He had no friends there.
I mean, you want to talk about the Uniparty.
I don't know if it was a Uniparty back then, but just the establishment.
Nixon, by the way, won the presidency with five.
500 electoral votes, a stunning win with the American people behind him.
A simple Quaker guy, he's a very smart guy.
And so I don't know how all this happens, but Michael, why don't you anything you want to say on Nixon first?
He didn't have many friends on the Republican side, he got backstabbed.
And then Woodward and Bernstein, you know, I I understand they're the greatest journalists that have ever lived.
What's the part of them in this story here?
michael patrick leahy
Well, let's talk about Woodward and Bernstein.
Of course, Woodward knew Mark Felt for a couple of years before when Woodward was a briefing the National Security Council on Navy matters.
So they had known each other for a couple of years.
After the break in on june 17, 1972, Woodward got the story for the Washington Post.
One of the first things he did, he called up his buddy, Mark Felt.
And Felt, wow.
Basically told him what was going on.
It was really egregious in how he handled that at that time.
Then, a couple of months later, Woodward and Bernstein secured the names of the grand jurors in the Watergate grand jury and talked to them.
unidentified
That's illegal to do, but they got away with it.
michael patrick leahy
Oh, they lied about it.
They claimed their source, and if you read their book, their inside scoop on the Watergate grand jury, they claimed their source was a secretary with the Nixon campaign.
That wasn't true.
They misled everybody about this.
Nobody knew this, but they talked to a grand juror.
Bernstein wrote seven pages in a memo to Bradley, and forty years later it was discovered and was only recently reported.
dave brat
Unbelievable.
By the way, we're very thankful to you both for the research here.
This is not easy, folks..
You just don't go Google this stuff.
This is painstaking research over decades.
Jeff Elliott Richardson, I heard there's a sub story there.
Why don't you give us that one?
geoff shepard
Well, there certainly is.
You talk about backstabbing.
When Nixon brought in a new crew to clean house after Watergate, he asked Elliott Richardson to be Attorney General because he wasn't involved at all.
But Elliott had designs of running for president some day and certainly didn't want to get involved in Watergate.
So he merrily gave away during his confirmation, gave away any oversight for the Watergate investigations and prosecutions and gave it over to the one of the most prominent Democrats to Archibald Cox and the creation just like what happened with Trump brand new people unconfirmed by the Senate the hiring of of a special set of dedicated anti-Nixon people the Watergate Special
Prosecution Force ultimately totaled 156 employees specially hired having nothing to do with statutorily established organization or Senate confirmed leadership.
I mean it was just amazing, all because Elliot Richardson didn't want to be involved.
dave brat
Unbelievable.
Hey, Michael, close us out in one minute.
Give us the connections to today.
John Solomon had some great reporting as well of what happened that drove Nixon from office today seems like a misdemeanor.
It's not even clear in your story here how complicit Nixon was in anything.
And yet we have major conspiracies of treason involving several current presidents and the receipts to match.
So sum it up in thirty seconds to a minute and link people to your documentary.
And thanks for being with us.
michael patrick leahy
All three branches of the government worked to undermine and take down Nixon executive, judiciary and legislative, and the media did it as well.
And you can see all this in our documentary for free for the next two weeks.
Go to warroom.film, warroom.film, put your name and e-mail address in and you'll be able to watch all one hour and thirty minutes of it.
And then send us a review.
You can go to Michael P. Leahy on my X account and just send me a brief review or respond to our friends at War Room.
By the way, Stephen K. Bannon is the executive producer of this documentary.
dave brat
Super, super.
All right, gentlemen, thanks for your contribution to America.
It's just great work.
Michael Patrick Leahy and Jeff Shepard, God bless you.
Keep up the great work and we'll have you back on a lot.
And now we go to our another American.
Another American patriot and legend, sell us a pillow.
Michael Lindell, give us a few words on your faith for the day.
What's the words for faith for the day?
And then sell us some pillows.
mike lindell

Okay, Michael Lindell, he's been fighting for our country.
Please support Mike.
He came to Liberty University a couple of years ago.
I got my Liberty University shirt on.
I'm going around the country giving lectures, but Mike did a about a ten thousand pillow delivery to Liberty University.
I think he wanted to have the biggest pillow drop, but there were some lawyers involved in that.
But Mike, thank you for all your work.
A last, last ten seconds blurb.
mike lindell
Yeah, thanks, Dave.
Yes, and it was amazing at Liberty.
We had to give away all the pillows.
And all before this election stuff, I used to just go out and evangelize and tell everybody, hey, you're in the greatest revival for Jesus Christ in history.
But right now, everybody, I'm just so grateful to the War Room posse for supporting my pillow.
