| Do you think Elon Musk just put out in the Insider Paper is putting up online that Elon Musk just announced or just warned, quote, if this insane spending bill passes, the America Party will launch the very next day, end quote, as a direct challenge to President Trump and the MAGA movement. | ||
| There is a $5 trillion lift to the debt ceiling in this package, and we've been talking over the last couple of days nonstop about spending, the cuts. | ||
| Of course, the parliamentary is ruling out this. | ||
| She's ruling back in this. | ||
| It's very confusing where this is going right now, but it looks like they're pressing forward. | ||
| Do the BRICS have a point that at some point we have the purchasing power of the U.S. dollar is dropping, and they look at people who should be fiduciaries, and they don't know the inside of our tax cut and the supply-side growth of what President Trump's banking on with Scott Besson's bank on. | ||
| We just had the chairman of the Council of Economic Advisors, Dr. Steve Murrin, on here to kick the show off that talked about the 2.8% growth and how we're going to grow our way out of this. | ||
| But did the BRICS have a point to actually be concerned about this enough to say, hey, maybe we need our own currency backed by some sort of gold certificate or something, sir? | ||
| Look, the answer is to a degree, yes. | ||
| I don't think that was ultimately the catalyst for the BRICS. | ||
| We've got to remember gold buying by the BRICS started in 2022 with Biden's weaponization of the dollar. | ||
| So I think ultimately that was the real catalyst that forced the BRICS into action. | ||
| However, we're making the argument easier, right? | ||
| We're running huge deficits, which makes the dollar as a store of value far less attractive. | ||
| So we're sort of creating the argument. | ||
| I think Elon has had a large part to play in this as well. | ||
| I mean, remember when they came out, Doge were promising to cut $2 trillion in spending, and it never materialized. | ||
| And ultimately, I think the budget is strong. | ||
| I think it's a growth plan, and I think that's what President Trump does well. | ||
| Without the spending cut, if the deficit explodes, I think it's going to create a problem, and I think it'll sort of push the bricks thing, and it'll allow it to gather steam, because that's what it is, right? | ||
| They're not flicking a switch, and July 8th, the dollar loses global reserve currency status. | ||
| This will be a gradual thing. | ||
| But the more transactions that happen globally outside of U.S. dollars, the weaker the longer-term argument will become. | ||
| So, yes, we've got to get our fiscal house in order. | ||

| So this is a, New York City's in a jam. | ||
| But I want to pull the camera back and talk about all the research you've done of what brought this on. | ||
| This didn't happen overnight. | ||
| This has been a very well thought through process. | ||

| So first, Zoran Mamdami won 430,000 votes. | ||
| And this is important because he is going into the November 4th general election with 430,000 votes. | ||
| Just to give you some perspective, the last New York City mayoral election in 2021 drew approximately 1 million votes. | ||
| Now, out of this number, this is where things get interesting. | ||
| He is endorsed by the Working Family Party. | ||
| And as we've discussed before, they don't like work and they don't like family. | ||
| But here's the thing about the Working Family Party. | ||
| They are culturally and economically Marxists and they mirror exactly what is going on on these school campuses like CUNY, like NYU, and like Columbia. | ||
| Now, combined, the student, faculty, and staff number for these three institutions, these campuses in New York City is approximately 360,000 people. | ||
| Why is this important? | ||
| Again, let's go back to he got 430,000 votes. | ||
| The total population in these three school campuses are 360,000. | ||
| These schools need to be reclassified as PACs and lose all federal, state, and local funding and have to pay the gift and property tax. | ||
| Why? | ||
| Because they substituted education for progressive activism. | ||
| Zoran Mamdami cleaned up with two demographics, Muslims and white educated progressives south of 45. | ||
| Actually, he got 60% of 18 to 34-year-olds compared to Cuomo who got 10%. | ||
| This is very important because these NYU, Columbia, and CUNY schools were really the satellites for the get out the vote, for messaging. | ||
| They got free media with all of their riots and actually voters. | ||
| The faculty and staff encouraged people from, you know, who had links with Hamas to within our lifetime, Students for Justice of Palestine, Code Pink, all of these groups like Empower Change, these very progressive, culturally Marxist, economically Marxist groups, just like the Working Families Party that endorsed Zoran Mandani. | ||
| Talking about the schools, the schools of breeding gowns, I want to go back, Hunter College, Columbia College, but it also goes down to the high schools. | ||
| It goes into the elementary schools. | ||
| One of the things you've been fighting, your concerned moms in Manhattan, the schools, particularly, well, I shouldn't say particularly, the private schools are as bad, maybe even worse than public schools, but the public schools start indoctrinating these kids early on. | ||
| And this is why you're seeing people are saying, well, his solutions are crazy. | ||
| And he's a Marxist and a jihadist. | ||
| I said, you don't understand. | ||
| That's what's being, these kids are being indoctrinated all the time. | ||
| And it gets to Hunter College or Columbia and they become, or the college is over in Brooklyn, this is where they had so many people ringing door. | ||
| It was essentially the precinct strategy that we had people going door to door in Pennsylvania and Michigan and Wisconsin in the city of Manhattan. | ||
| He would have 10,000 or 20,000 canvassers out every day. | ||
| The DSA and the Working People's Party have really built an operation. | ||
| Remember, they won also, I think, up in Syracuse and Buffalo and a couple of other cities. | ||
| They've built a ground game under everybody's nose. | ||
| And Cuomo did the, he had every endorsement. | ||
| He had 40 million bucks. | ||
| He thought he punched every ticket. | ||
| He was up at one time by 40 points not that long ago. | ||
| He ran a classic steamroller campaign for the Democrats. | ||
| And at the end of the day, kind of got blown out. | ||
| But talk about the importance of the school system and the indoctrination of the kids here. | ||
| Yeah, everything always comes back to the educational complex. | ||
| So what happens is, is that in nursery school, they are seated with this anti-white, anti-Judeo-Christian American feelings, right? | ||
| This happens in nursery school. | ||
| Then in K through 12, it is solidified with DEI czars. | ||
| CRT is still very much in the curriculum. | ||
| And then what happens is to get into higher education, I mean, if you even just pull up any application, you have to explain how you have either been oppressed or have oppressed others. | ||
| So the entire thing from nursery school on through college is codified to hate white people, to hate the Judeo-Christian American ethos. | ||
| Now, this is very important. | ||
| New York City is now 40%, almost 50%, really, immigrants. | ||
| And this is per the MOIA, the mayor's Office of Immigration Affairs. | ||
| So we have people, almost 50% of New York City that have absolutely zero allegiance to America. | ||
| They've been taught to break our rules and then they go through our educational complex and it is jammed through. | ||
| It is crammed into their brains to hate Americans, specifically white people. | ||
| And what is very interesting about Zoran Mamdami is he's really doing very well because he is promoting the fact that the American dream is Unaffordable. | ||
| The catch-22 is the reason why the American dream is unaffordable is because of lunatic leftist policies like you know mass importing 20 to 30 million illegals. | ||
| Mayor Adams said during a congressional hearing that he blew through $9 billion on illegal aliens. | ||
| Then there's the climate crap. | ||
| Then there's the war in the Ukraine. | ||
| So all of these lunatic leftist things have actually really helped people like Zoran because he's right. | ||
| The American dream is unaffordable. | ||
| The interesting thing is they actually hate the American dream. | ||
| They like the Venezuelan nightmare. | ||

| And the educational industrial complex is the taproot. | ||

| You have hardworking Americans that live in a very tough environment in New York City, but they far exceed these kind of the credentialed class kids that Mandami's been able to put together and do it through the schools. | ||
| Is there any possibility that that group that Dave just talked about, the kind of the backbone of America, which New York City has got legions of, can be pulled together around someone that can articulate that and say, hey, look, if this young guy takes over with the crowd around him, this credentialized class that knows nothing about the real world, it will be decades and decades before New York City's able to turn itself around and may never turn itself around, Jackie. | ||
| Yeah, firstly, I agree with what Dave said, but I think the bigger point here is that whether Zoran wins or loses, the real winner in this is the working family party, and that is what has to be crushed. | ||
| They are in 19 different states, not just New York, but New Jersey, Connecticut, Texas, Georgia, Nevada, Maryland, Pennsylvania, just to name a few. | ||
| Yes, of course, we need to unify between a candidate. | ||
| We cannot have Cuomo, Adams, and Sliwa. | ||

| But once again, they have been taught, they've been fed through a steady diet of the American educational complex that everything is the white construct and it is evil and the American dream is evil. | ||
| And the importation of these 20 to 30 million illegal alien invaders and then rammed through this educational complex of cultural and economic Marxists have made this an uphill battle. | ||

| So defunding the social science departments and specifically removing federal subsidies from the social sciences. | ||
| And Steve, there's actually a precedent for this in both Japan and Australia. | ||
| They have completely removed federal funding for non-STEM majors. | ||
| I mean, students are free to learn Bosnian basket weaving, but let them do it on their own dime and not the dime of hardworking plumbers, carpenters, and truckers. | ||
| So that should be top priority. | ||
| Remove the federal subsidy for non-STEM majors. | ||
| And more importantly, put more universities on the hook for some of their students who have massive loans and can't pay it off. | ||
| Like at this point, universities don't have skin in the game. | ||
| So by taxing endowments, we can ensure the incentives of students who are studying all kinds of majors and the university is aligned. | ||
| Right now, there's no alignment. | ||

| We have a huge problem in the housing market. | ||
| I mean, nearly one in four houses, Steve, new bills, are buy to rent by funds that have been allowed in by the establishment to gobble up the market. | ||
| Highly educated Irish people, I mean, the best of the talent is leaving the country because they can't afford to live in it. | ||
| They can't afford to get a house. | ||
| I mean, 30 years ago, about 70% of Irish people aged 25 to 34 owned their own homes, owned them. | ||
| Whereas now two-thirds of the same age group are living at home, aged 25 to 34. | ||
| And that's just an abysmal place to be. | ||
| Meanwhile, we are, as you know, as I said on Saturday, we've handed over border control to bureaucrats in Brussels, which means that we are now importing from North Africa largely and from the Middle East, people we don't know anything about, young, you know, of varying education levels, a lot lower than what's leaving. | ||
| So we're actually cycling out our best talent and we're bringing in what is arguably much, much lower. | ||
| And we're just putting them up in these centers without any plan. | ||
| What we'll be doing here on Counterpoint is we will be putting into juxtaposition the Danish system versus the Irish system. | ||
| And the differences are stark. | ||
| I mean, stark. | ||
| And it's quite clear from the Danes have done some very good data, Steve, on the non-Western migrant population in terms of guilty crimes over the last 10 years, as well as in terms of the prison population. | ||
| And it's quite clear that with less than 12% of the population, they're committing nearly over 40% of rapes and nearly the same amount of attempted murders. | ||
| And murders. | ||
| I mean, this is pretty stark data. | ||
| And it's basically telling Western Europe, look, you can't mix these cultures together without creating these kinds of problems. | ||
| And that's why the Swedes are in so much trouble, where one of the head of security chiefs there a couple of years ago described it as a low-level civil war. | ||
| So, I mean, we have that problem. | ||
| We also have the problem of we have a massive problem with mortgage fraud, where a huge amount of Irish mortgages after the collapse were sold on to different players, vulture funds and one kind or another. | ||
| And we now know that most of that was built on misrepresentation in the Irish courts with the judiciary scenes turning a blind eye. | ||
| All that is going to unwrap as well, and that's going to have an impact. | ||
| And so we have an acute problem here. | ||
| But unlike the United States, where they have you and many others, and the Trump administration, and J.D. Vance, and Robert F. Kennedy Jr., all barking away about the same point, we're behind that. | ||
| We need to try and create the interconnection so people can see it's not just about migration, it's across the divide, housing, the debt fraud, as well as the indoctrination of Irish children with pretty awful affirmation ideology and the introduction to sexual facts at extraordinary young ages. | ||
| And these documents, by the way, being kept in school and not allowed to go home to the family, which under Irish Constitution is the primary educator. | ||
| So we're battling here on all fronts to get people to wake up to what's going on. | ||
| But it will happen and it is happening and it's going to start coming apart from the establishment. | ||

| But now this is why our Trump movement's building momentum because more and more people, the scales are falling off their eyes. | ||

| They saw this kind of neo-Marxist training propaganda. | ||
| When we look at these rallies that are taking place throughout Ireland and these demonstrations taking place in the streets in Ireland, is that the first indication that you're going to have the potential for a mass awakening here, sir? | ||
| Yes, it is indeed. | ||
| But it needs greater momentum and much greater depth and width to it in order to create a kind of an emerald revolution. | ||
| Let's just call it that. | ||
| So that the actual political and permanent establishment and everybody else that's kind of turning a blind eye to all of this gets completely rocked to the bone. | ||
| But that's possible. | ||
| I mean, it was quite clear here on this side that when Trump won and the type of administration for me anyway, as somebody that's changed my mind on him over the last, so since version one, I mean, when you look at what they're doing and the points of attack that they've gone at, it's quite clear that there's a big momentum shift going on in the United States of America and that this was going to blow across the North Atlantic eventually and have significant change in Europe. | ||
| But Europe is a very serious problem. | ||
| I mean, J.D. Vance nailed it. | ||
| I mentioned that on Saturday when he took on the Europeans about free speech. | ||
| And Ireland now is under pressure to try and bring our standards up to the extraordinary crackdown on what the establishment would term misinformation, disinformation in Europe. | ||
| It's like this is very undemocratic. | ||
| And so all that fight is ahead of us. | ||
| But we're up for it. | ||
| I can tell you that. | ||
| It's just a question of how long it's going to take before we get that mass movement onto the street. | ||
| And when we look across the Atlantic at our cousins, the Irish American diaspora and the United States in general, and what's going on over there, and you look past the personalities and you look at the core policy that's being enacted, it's quite clear that there's a tremendous battle going on between the forces of freedom on the one hand and totalitarianism on the other. | ||
