Why did you launch this operation now?
benjamin netanyahu
Because we were facing an imminent threat, a dual existential threat.
One, the threat of Iran rushing to weaponize their enriched uranium to make atomic bombs.
With a specific and declared intent to destroy us.
Second, a rush to increase their ballistic missile arsenal into the capacity that they would have 3,600 weapons a year, new weapons within three years, 10,000 ballistic missiles, each one weighing a ton, coming in at Mach 6 right into our cities, as you saw today.
And then in six years, 20,000.
No country can sustain that, and certainly not a country the size of Israel.
So we had to act.
It was the 12th hour.
We did act to save ourselves, but also, I think, to not only protect ourselves, but protect the world from this incendiary regime.
We can't have the world's most dangerous regime have the world's most dangerous weapons.
We're protecting ourselves, but by doing so, we're protecting many others.
mark levin
Now, we have significant military assets in the region.
We have significant military assets in every region.
So the isolationists, who are appeasers, who will get us all killed, they believe we should just pull back from everywhere.
NATO, Europe, Africa, Middle East.
What are we doing there?
We're protecting ourselves.
That's what we're doing there.
They're forward bases.
We have allies, like Israel, who are fighting wars that really help us, too.
We have a base in Qatar.
Israel didn't put it there.
We have a base in Iraq.
Israel didn't put that one there, either.
We have locations and bases throughout the Middle East that have absolutely nothing to do with the state of Israel or even defending the state of Israel.
So what should we do?
Should we withdraw?
Say, you know what?
China, North Korea, Russia, Iran, all the terrorist groups, you can have the Middle East, you can have the oil, you can have the navigable waters, we're out of here.
Really?
I'd love to see the plan of the isolationists and the pacifists and the appeasers.
I would love to see it.
They don't have a plan.
They'll get us all killed.
So we need to protect our bases.
And so people are saying, what?
Israel shouldn't defend itself because the enemy might attack some of our bases?
Does that make sense to anybody?
Wouldn't it be better to take out the enemy?
unidentified
No.
Wow.
bret baier
So did something change from end of March until this week?
Was the U.S. intel wrong?
benjamin netanyahu
The intel we got and we shared with the United States was absolutely clear.
It was absolutely clear that they were working in a secret plan.
To weaponize the uranium.
They were marching very quickly.
They would achieve a test device and possibly an initial device within months and certainly less than a year.
That was the intel we shared with the United States.
I think we have excellent intel in Iran.
I think we've proven that.
And that is something that we couldn't possibly accept.
Whether it would be six months or 12 months or 13 months is immaterial.
Once they go that route, it's too late.
And we will not have...
We already had one in the previous century.
The Jewish state is not going to have.
The Holocaust made it on the Jewish people.
It's not going to happen.
Never again is now, and we have to act now.
tom cotton
As President Trump said just yesterday, it's his movement.
He helped create and shape and direct the Make America Great Again movement.
He's the one that's defined the contours of the America First foreign policy.
He's the one who was elected.
By the American people, just like 535 members of Congress were elected by the American people to make these decisions, not so-called Influencers or podcasters.
No offense, but they don't have authority and accountability under our constitutional system.
So President Trump is right that he's the one that sets the course for foreign policy.
Congress has its say, obviously, as well.
And that we simply cannot trust the ayatollahs of Iran to have the nuclear weapons.
Maybe one day the meek will inherit the earth, Mark.
But until then, the strong have to protect it.
And if the lion is to ever lie down with the lamb, it's still much better to be the lion.

mark levin
America America must continue to stand behind Israel.
They need to finish the job.
It's going to take several weeks.
Their bombs simply cannot penetrate all of these nuclear sites with one, two, three, five runs.
They need several runs.
And so that's the way it goes.
They're the ones taking the incoming.
The Israeli people are paying the price, and the Israeli people want to live in peace.
They want to be able to enjoy their parks, their playgrounds.
They want to be able to enjoy their schools.
Their cafes, their restaurants, they want to be able to go to synagogue and church.
They want to be able to live like free people, like we do, without a nuclear weapon pointing at their head, without ballistic missiles pointing at their head, without looking in every direction, being surrounded by terrorists.
It's hard to believe that any piece of paper can prevent that.
If you can show me any time in world history that it has, I'd love to see it.
I don't think the founding fathers, as brilliant as they were, could write a document, a document that would contain evil.
No, unfortunately, at times, it takes force.
steve bannon
This is the primal scream of a dying regime.
Pray for our enemies, because we're going medieval on these people.
You've just not got a free shot at all these networks lying about the people.
mark levin
The people have had a belly full of it.
steve bannon
I know you don't like hearing that.
I know you try to do everything in the world to stop that, but you're not going to stop it.
It's going to happen.
jake tapper
And where do people like that go to share the big line?
unidentified
MAGA Media.
jake tapper
I wish in my soul, I wish that any of these people had a conscience.
unidentified
Ask yourself, what is my task and what is my purpose?
steve bannon
If that answer is to save my country, this country will be saved.
unidentified
War Room.
Here's your host, Stephen K. Band.
steve bannon
It's Monday, 16 June, Year of the Lord, 2025.
I would say since the last time we chatted at the great military, the 250th anniversary of the United States Army at about 8 o 'clock Eastern Daylight Time on Saturday, a lot has transpired.
We're going to get to all of it today.
We've got a very special guest that's coming in the war room in a little while.
I'll announce that a little bit later.
We're going to actually go to A big announcement from the Trump Organization.
Our own Jane Zirkle is there.
David Zier is there.
It's 10 years after.
Yesterday was the 10th anniversary of President Trump coming down the golden escalator and changing the arc of American history.
Remember, General Washington was here for the birth of the nation.
Father Abraham Lincoln.
Was here for the rebirth of the nation, and President Trump's here for the reclamation of the nation in return to her former greatness.
Those three are the three most important presidents, leaders this nation has ever had, and President Trump's arrival on the scene 10 years ago.
Remember, at the top of the escalator, President Trump was in 7th place, I think, polling at, I don't know, 3.5%, 4%.
He had just gone to CPAC.
I think 90 days beforehand roughly and finished I think seventh at three and a half percent.
That was at the top of the escalator.
After the amazing talk to the American people, remarks he made to the American people to kick off his campaign, he sprinted to number one on the flash polls that were done and never looked back.
I think the closest was Dr. Ben Carson came a little bit close.
To actually tying him, but besides that, it was President Trump the entire way, which is pretty extraordinary.
Why did that happen?
President Trump talked to the American people in a very straightforward vernacular, very straightforward, no political talk.
He talked from the heart and from the head.
What did he talk about?
We had to have sovereignty.
We had to have a border.
We couldn't allow the country to be overrun by illegal alien invaders.
Right?
That we had to stand up to China and start to bring manufacturing jobs back.
And we had to end forever wars.
Remember those three things?
I think that's kind of the platform for MAGA, for America First and for the MAGA movement.
It is get out of forever wars.
No more forever wars.
Immigration.
We're going to get sovereignty back.
We're going to seal our borders.
We're going to make sure the only people coming to the country are people we want to come to the country.
And we're going to deport.
People that are here illegally.
In other words, people that did not come through the process and are not actually American citizens.
Also, we're going to set things right with the Chinese Communist Party and with China.
We're going to bring manufacturing jobs back to the United States of America.
Oh, in regard to the deep side, there's many other corollaries of that and things, but that's the three.
That's the big three.
And Mark Levin is, you know, one of the most brilliant guys I've ever met about the Constitution.
I think...
There's unlimited, you know, since the fall in the garden, right, of Eden, man's descent, right, into kind of depravity, there's plenty of evil in the world.
I would actually say that you can't compare the mullahs, as bad as they are, right, to the Chinese Communist Party.
And yet where business philosophy is to partner with the Chinese Communist Party, at least on Wall Street and tech.
But I just want to make sure that – and I want to play the Beebe thing.
Can I play – Beebe laid it out.
Well, we'll play it a little bit later in the show.
He said – and this was Brent Baer just asking a question, didn't ask a follow-on after that.
But he said, Tulsi Gabbard said in March, right, in front of the, I think it was Senate Intelligence Committee, there's been no change to the weapons of mass destruction, the nuclear weapons program by the Mullahs.
Nothing had changed.
They hadn't restarted it.
And it wasn't going anywhere.
President Trump had a negotiating team that was negotiating, supposed to be in Muscat Oman on Sunday.
So what changed?
Well, now B.B. tells us two things.
Tremendous intelligence that they shared with us.
Everything that's been reported by the Wall Street Journal and New York Times is that we actually gave them intelligence that was exquisite, but we haven't heard anything that countered.
No one's come out and said we've seen anything that countered Tulsi Gabbard, which he said publicly.
That hasn't been brought out.
And what did Netanyahu say?
Netanyahu said, oh, you know, it's ballistic missiles now and they're running to get a weapon and they're going to get a weapon.
It's, and I'm quoting him, 12 to 13 months away.
So what initiated this?
Why did this have to happen now?
Why did they decide to go on a unilateral decision that immediately depended upon American air defense, right?
And since they've now, and I'm just quoting Semaphore and the New York Times and many other sources, it really is not a decapitation of the scientific and the nuclear power.
But it's actually a decapitation of the regime.
In fact, President Trump had to step in and said, no, I don't want the Ayatollah assassinated.
Right?
I don't want him assassinated.
What drove this now?
And was it straightforward?
Did you tell the United States that you were going to try to decapitate the actual leadership of the country, including all of its military command, things unrelated to its nuclear weapons program?
Israel is a sovereign nation.
I'm a big supporter of Israel, big supporter of Israeli nationalism.
It's a sovereign nation.
It has to make decisions that are right for it, as it should, as all nations on earth should do.
But when you start making decisions that are predicated upon the assumption that America is going to come in, not just for defense, but for offense, because the same crowded fox all weekend.
It's been sounding the war toxins.
America's got to go on offense.
We have to go on offense.
We have to support.
We've got the equipment.
We've got the pilots.
We have the refueling.
We have to help them take out Fodor, the second and the most, you know, the one that's more secure in the mountainside.
We have to be there.
Now, we have to make decisions that put America first.
This has to be thought through.
This Pearl Harbor-type attack on the Mullahs is fine for Israel.
But is it right for the United States when we have 10 million illegal alien invaders just on Biden's watch in the United States, particularly in our major cities, which President Trump comes out last night and says we're going to double and triple down to get him out?
That's the war we face.
Short commercial break.
Going to Trump Tower next.
neil young
In America's home.
Going to Trump Tower next.
steve bannon
Welcome back.
Ten years after one of the most monumental events in American political history, as I said at the top of the show, you've had General Washington at the birth of the nation, Father Abraham Lincoln at the rebirth of the nation, and Donald John Trump at the reclamation of the nation, the three greatest presidents this nation has ever had, and a man who has risen above all personal imperfections, because we're all imperfect, to reveal true greatness and what greatness is, particularly in the cauldron.
Of having to make decisions as commander-in-chief, as the chief executive officer of the United States government, and as chief magistrate and chief law enforcement officer.
No individual in the history of this country, when the election in 2020 was stolen, he went back to Mar-a-Lago in those months, those three, four, five, six months.
When he knew that if he was to return and really set things right of the stolen election from the illegitimate Biden regime, they would try to destroy his family, destroy his business, bankrupt him, smear him, put him in prison, and eventually try to assassinate him.
You talk about John Kennedy's Profiles in Courage, read the entire book, read it twice.
You can add it all up and triple it.
And you will never see a profile and courage of what President Trump did in those actions to come back and say, I've got to set things right.
Like I say, he's the American Cincinnatus.
Like the great Roman general returned from his plow to save the Roman Republic.
President Trump returned from Mar-a-Lago to save the American Republic.
And we're in it now.
These 10 years, the triumphs and the tragedies, the highs and the lows, the victories and the defeats are only a preamble for what's happening now because now we're in it.
Honored to have Eric Trump join us.
Eric, at the top of the escalator, I know you guys had talked to your father, had talked it through.
Did you ever think in a billion years that this journey would turn out like it has so far, sir?
eric trump
Well, Steve, that was a beautiful open, and no, not in our wildest dreams.
I actually started about two days before that escalator ride.
My father called us all into his office.
His office is actually literally 10 feet above my head right now.
I'm in the Trump Tower, and he called us.
Up there and he goes, you know, kids, I'm going to do this.
Let's do it.
And by let's, everything we had ever done, we had always done as a family.
And we didn't done the apprentice.
We did the real estate thing.
Everything we had always done, we'd always fought together as a family.
And he goes, but kids, you know, we're going to get hit harder than you've ever possibly imagined.
They're going to attack us in ways that we can't even fathom.
And we're going to learn who our true friends were, and I'll never forget those words.
And I've uttered them many times, but, I mean, the intuition of the man was incredible.
And sure enough, two, three days later, he comes down that escalator, and the rest is history.
They tried to impeach him twice.
They took out, you know, they went after Supreme Court justices ruthlessly.
The Russia hoax, which you've talked about more than anyone, Steve.
The dirty dossiers, the subpoenas.
I mean, I became the most subpoenaed person, arguably, in American history.
As a way to get to my father, right?
They couldn't get him in the executive branch.
So what did they do?
They came after me like I was a dog.
They tried to bankrupt our company.
They tried to put us out of business.
They tried to take him off the ballot in Colorado, obviously in Maine, right?
I mean, they took away his free speech.
They took him off of Twitter and Instagram and Facebook.
They literally tried to deprive him of his First Amendment right.
They tried to kill him twice, coincidentally, and then they had every single...
And despite that, he gets off that stage.
He puts his hand in the air with blood coming down his face and plenty of other times where it wasn't blood.
But, you know, he was battered and bruised and he goes, we're going to fight and we're never, ever going to stop.
And we're going to fight for this nation and we're going to get our country back on track.
He's the toughest guy I've ever met in my life.
He's the greatest father you could have ever had as a person.
And I am so honored.
I was probably the first person on that stage with him right when he came down that escalator.
There were very few, Steve, at the time.
You know that.
And by the way, even the ones that were, most of them deserted us in the kind of 2021 years.
I've never been more proud to be by somebody's side, to stand on that stage, to fight with a man.
And look what he's done for our country.
Look what he's done for modern politics.
He's become the greatest rhino hunter in the history of the world.
I mean, the neocons of the Republican Party are all extinct.
And you look at the cabinet that we have now, you look at the way that they're fighting, you look at the things that they believe in, you look at the things that they're doing.
Republicans 10 years ago would have thought that none of it was possible because they had lost hope.
And we're going to be a better nation for it.
So incredibly proud of him, incredibly proud of this journey.
Special.
Special debt.
steve bannon
We lost hope because the Republican Party had been part of the problem that controlled opposition.
We didn't have a leader.
We didn't have a leader that had the moral qualities of your father.
And we didn't have a family that would not shatter.
You guys have gone through the cauldron of this.
A huge announcement today in Trump Tower on the 10th anniversary.
Walkers, you guys are developing into many, many different business lines.
Talk to me about this huge announcement today, sir.
eric trump
Well, Steve, over the last couple of years, we got into really kind of the digital space, right, the technology space.
We had to do that.
We developed Truth Social.
You know why?
Because they literally shut down our ability to communicate through censorship, right, through taking away my father's First Amendment right.
And so we developed Truth Social, which allowed us to communicate to the entire country, and it was incredibly successful.
Sure enough, you know, as a guy who runs the Trump organization, all of a sudden they started deplatforming us, debanking us.
The biggest banks in this country came after us, sent us letters.
We had perfect track record, never any problems, had great relationships for 30 years.
Sorry, we're canceling all of your bank accounts.
The biggest buildings, the biggest hotels, golf courses, gone because they didn't like the fact that, you know, the ultimate owner wore a hat that said, make America great again, and was red.
And today we started Trump Mobile, which is going to revolutionize the cell phone industry, and it's going to really shake up the cell phone industry.
They've done a terrible job.
It's become too expensive.
Everything's overseas.
We want a product that's made in America for Americans.
We want customer service to be in the United States of America.
And we're going to bring it back.
And we're going to massively disrupt the industry.
And I've never been more excited.
So when you combine kind of the cryptocurrencies to, again, you know, take on the big banks that otherwise deplatformed us, and those ventures are going so well.
When you take on, again, these voice boxes that we have to counter the attacks on our First Amendment right as Americans, and then obviously when you take the hard, tangible product, I think we're creating technology company as a branch of the Trump organization that I think is really going to be second to none.
steve bannon
Now, are you going to oversee this venture?
unidentified
Yeah.
eric trump
Well, we have wonderful partners, partners that have built some of the biggest cell phone companies.
You know, in our nation, you would know the names of every single one of them.
And so I'm obviously, I'm very involved.
I'm very into it.
I love the notion of doing this.
I love security benefits because, listen, Steve.
Neither you nor I trust talking on our cell phones at any point.
And so that's something we're going to seriously be running toward in the coming months and years.
And then $47 a month, you've got free calling, unlimited calling, unlimited text to over 100 countries around the world.
We're really, really doing this right.
And guess what?
When you call up because you need service on your cell phone, you want to adjust your plan.
You're calling somebody in St. Louis, Missouri.
You're not calling somebody in Bangladesh.
You're not calling somebody in, you know, in India.
You're calling somebody in our country.
And I think that's also really important from a security standpoint.
I mean, there's not a week that goes by where there's not another data breach because one of these call centers sells, you know, people's personal information.
And we saw that last week with a major U.S. company.
And so we're incredibly proud of what we're creating and we're doing it right.
And it's a made-in-American product for Americans.
And, you know, we're honored to be doing it.
steve bannon
Eric, where do people go today to find out more information about this?
What's the social media?
They have a landing page or a website?
eric trump
Very simple.
TrumpMobile.com.
The phones are beautiful.
We even have a limited edition phone that's polished gold, which is kind of meaningful to the whole Escalator ride and everything that we stand for.
But obviously, you can get eSIM cards.
So if you want to get on the Trump plan, literally go on Trump Mobile, get an eSIM card.
You can convert your existing phone.
Over instantaneously.
It's really an easy process.
So we can't wait to onboard a lot of people.
And, you know, we're going to protect people.
And we're going to, I think we're going to change, really change the industry in major, major ways.
And we're very excited to be in the space.
steve bannon
Fantastic.
By the way, the Goldphone is on brand.
Real quickly, I would love to have you come back.
Also, War Room, myself, all the people close to President Trump are all debanked, credit cards cut, sometimes even insurance trying to be cut.
I'd love to have you back on and spend a little time to walk through that.
I don't think even MAGA understands what they try to do to President Trump to bankrupt you guys and cut you off from all lines of credit and cash and even to get your own bank account.
That's a story that's not been told.
Also, the War Room posse loves your wife, loves the show.
Thank you.
Send our regards.
Eric, what's your social media?
unidentified
Anytime, Steve.
eric trump
Would absolutely love it.
steve bannon
Where do people catch up with you?
eric trump
At Eric Trump on every single one of the handles.
Obviously, X, Instagram, Facebook.
I love social media.
It's our way of beating back on the unfair media.
It's worked.
Steve, we've won the battle.
We've really won the battle.
We'll continue to win the battle, but we've won the battle and honored.
And thanks for all your support.
You've been a true champion in this war.
They didn't let you get pushed around, and you fought like hell against the most unfair people in the universe and the world.
We're back on top, my friend, and we appreciate you very much.
steve bannon
Thank you, brother.
I appreciate you.
The battle-hardened Trump family announces Trump Mobile today.
Thank you so much, sir.
Let's get it up.
Grace and Mo, if you can push it out on social media everywhere so people know where to go.
Eric Trump, Lara Trump, her show on Saturday night.
I think her show on Saturday night is doing 2.5 million people on a Saturday night.
Pretty impressive.
A woman that's got smarts, toughs, and a little equality lacking in the modern world.
She has class.
Very classy.
Very nice.
A lot of discernment.
Okay.
We've got a lot going on.
We've got a special guest in the second hour.
We're lighting things up here.
The big war is the war here, the number one priority.
We cannot take our eye off it for anything.
That is the ceiling of the border and the deportation of a minimum of 10 million illegal alien evaders here on Biden's watch.
Much more to do there, but the president last night reiterated He's doubling and tripling down on ice raids in sanctuary cities.
Also, there was some confusion, I think, about agricultural workers.
All of it.
President Trump came out shortly thereafter and said, hey, 20 million illegal aliens.
I think his numbers are probably more accurate than mine, right?
Gotta go.
And they're gonna go.
Short break.
back in the warm in a moment here's your host Stephen K. Van uh Welcome back.
You're in the boardroom.
I want to thank Eric Trump, the folks at Trump Tower, Jane and David Zier, Harry.
Everybody made that happen.
Harry, you know, did the great, Six hours?
We did the boardroom on Saturday morning, our traditional boardroom.
Then I think we did four.
At least I stood in for four.
I was wiped at the end of that.
I was wiped at the end of that, folks.
We actually put on a party afterwards at Butterworth or Thrahim.
I was a no-show.
I said, hey, I've got so much to do on Sunday.
I've got so much to do on Monday.
I've got to be ready.
I've got to hit it.
And I couldn't even go to one of the parties that the war room threw.
Hey, stop whining, Ben.
No whining in the war room.
Mike Lindell, you're in federal court in Denver, Colorado.
Do we have a verdict yet?
mike lindell
No, they're right now.
They're signing.
We hope they have a verdict by noon.
We're praying for obviously unanimous vote to finally get this behind us and move on and secure our elections.
I want to thank all the War Room Posse, though.
This is it.
This is what we've all waited for.
You guys got us through.
Remember, my pillow suit here, and it hasn't happened to a company like this with lawfare ever that I know of.
But we stood tall, and we went all the way to jury trial where everybody else gave in to this lawfare.
So I want to thank the War Room Posse.
Today's the last day.
We still have—we're getting low on the Giza dream sheets.

steve bannon

We'll come back to you as soon as we hear something, Mike.

steve bannon

By the way, so we're going to have a special guest.
We've got another guest here now.
This is a guest, not the special guest.
By the way, I thought Jack Posobiec walked in with the clone.
We have a new proof.
What is this?
Oh, wow.
unidentified
Boom.
steve bannon
We don't really have that in the war room.
Posso showed up.
First of all, there are no women in the war room, right?
No girls.
It's like the our gang comedy or whatever.
Great trip down to Dallas, back to D.C., go to the parade, support your 101st Airborne, your Army, then back?
Then back to Dallas.
Was that back during the wee hours of the morning?
unidentified
Yesterday morning and then Great panel down there.
steve bannon
Great panel discussion.
Thank you.
I've got about 10 things I'm going to yell at you at after the show.
I'll wait on that to get on top of you and Grace.
You guys are doing a great job.
Catherine O 'Neill joins us.
You know, Catherine, you ran a little hot.
In the 16 campaign, you ran a little, you know, over at the State Department, they were trying to bounce you out all the time because you were an advocate.
I think it was religious freedom, right?
And then at the White House, and then on the second campaign, you've been a MAGA Trump hoplite for a long time.
You've been running a business.
You decided, hey, I'm going to be an entrepreneur like Taze Gill and others we know, Trevor Constock, people that are MAGA or make America healthy again that have decided, hey, the way we're going to build this, like Eric Trump said today with their new You know, Eric's not really in politics.
He's an advisor to his dad, but he spends his time building businesses.
But over the weekend, you kind of took a look at your business and you took umbrage with something that was coming out from the administration.
I think it's been reversed already.
Walk me through, because this tweet you put up, ma 'am, has, I think, four million hits on it.
What did you say?
And if we can get the tweet up, tell me what was in that tweet that got, you know, made it go mega viral, ma 'am.
catharine oneill gillihan
Yeah, Steve.
So, you know, I'm the CEO of Merriweather Farms, and as you know, the War Room Posse has been very supportive of us.
And what happened over the weekend is that the Trump administration issued a stop order on the ICE raids for hotels.
Farms, meat packing plants, etc.
Because a lot of these big corporations, these big food corporations, hire and exploit illegal labor.
And I just wanted to make it clear that we at Meriwether Farms, all of our employees are U.S. citizens.
And we can make an example that farmers can do it without exploiting illegal labor.
And meat packing plants can do it without exploiting illegal labor.
So I wanted to make that point clear.
steve bannon
D.C. Drano's got a post up, too, about Big Ag.
He says Big Ag pays the illegal aliens only like $20,000 a year, right?
And that leads to the schools being destroyed, the health services being destroyed, the communities being destroyed, law and order, in which Big Ag doesn't pick up any of the tab for that.
Is that correct?
catharine oneill gillihan
Absolutely.
No, because typically schools are funded through property taxes.
So if they're not paying property taxes, they're not contributing to the school system.
So they're allowed to hire these individuals at slave wages, while people like us who do it the right way, we pay, like I said in my tweet, we pay all of our full-time employees, have full health care, period, end of story.
Which is unusual for a company like us, but we're blessed and we're vertically in.
So we're able to do that.
And I don't expect everyone to do that, but we've made a point to do it ourselves.
And so why is it that these big multinational corporations are paying these individuals slave wages while we're doing the right thing as Americans?
steve bannon
Where do people go to find out more about this and more about your thoughts on this?
Because this is a direct response for not doing the raids.
At agriculture, at hotels, at all of it.
You responded.
And of course, MAGA wants it to go.
Now, the president put out something.
He's going to triple down on ice raids in the inner cities to get to sanctuary cities.
I know you're a big advocate of doing all of it.
Where do people go right now on your social media?
catharine oneill gillihan
Yeah, you can follow us at Merriweather Farms.
When you're running a business, you don't really have time to tweet and to put things out.
And I'm a mother, too, so that's my first priority.
But I figured we need clear voices in this space, and we need clear examples of how to do it the right way.
And I hope that my company, Merriweather Farms, can lead the example for others in the industry.
So find us at Meriwether Farms.
We're on Twitter.
We're on Getter.
We're on Facebook, on Instagram, all the socials.
And then we're also offering a special today.
If you go to our website, you guys always ask for the burger blowout.
So go to our website, meriwetherfarms.com, and you'll see it right on the homepage.
steve bannon
You have turned to an entrepreneur.
You sit there, you're ripping on them from not doing the rage.
You're saying, hey, I'm giving them health care, I'm paying them a decent wage, and here's how you buy my beef.
Catherine O 'Neill, you're a warrior.
You've been with us from the beginning.
President Trump, I know, loves you.
Thank you so much.
Appreciate you, ma 'am.
catharine oneill gillihan
Thanks, Steve.
Have a great day.
steve bannon
What a day.
We've got Eric Trump, and now we've got D. Tucker Carlson.
In the war room, brother.
unidentified
Thank you.
tucker carlson
It's good to see you.
steve bannon
This is, by the way, you were here years ago, Andrew Breitbart, when Andrew Breitbart lived here.
You were up at the top.
tucker carlson
I was here the day it opened, and it looks exactly the same.
I can't believe you're still here.
I mean, that was 15 years anyway.
steve bannon
15 years.
unidentified
2011, 14 years, going on 15 to 10. Crazy.
steve bannon
I know since you left D.C., you're very hesitant to spend a lot of time here.
This is not your favorite town anymore.
tucker carlson
I've spent my whole life here.
I have family here.
I have close family here, so I come back to see them.
But not very often.
steve bannon
Why are you in town?
You're going to spend a couple days in town, which is quite...
tucker carlson
I'm interviewing various people.
The president's gone, but I'm seeing a bunch of people.
And there's a lot going on.
And I feel like there aren't many people representing the president.
Of course, you're hated for it.
It's crazy how the people who are against killing are the criminals all of a sudden.
It's wild.
And I thought the other day, this is accelerating, and I was hearing all this, you know, going to war with Iran, and I was at part of me, and I was like, oh, we're not really gonna do that.
After we have this election who's We need attention and money.
steve bannon
Or micropayments.
They buy now and they pay micropayments over time.
unidentified
For food!
tucker carlson
For food!
But hey, let's pay for somebody else's missile defense.
No!
So I start to hear this stuff, and I'm like, this can't be real.
But then it becomes obvious to me that it is real, and I think, I have zero interest in this conversation at all.
I know it's all downside for me.
It's not like I'm going to get rich and make more friends trying to stop a war.
steve bannon
The argument that you're making, I'm making a slightly different argument, but it's Trinidad.
Why are you being vilified?
So, I mean, we just had Tom Cotton.
We played clips before he got here.
We had Mark Levin, Tom Cotton, and we had Bebe.
Bebe said last night to Brent Baer, oh, it's 12 to 13 months away from...
Now he's telling Brent Baer on Sunday, really, we got intelligence, but it's 12 to 13 months away, which is something they've been saying forever.
tucker carlson
It's so funny that B.B.'s more honest about it than his water carriers here in the United States.
Like you would never get Barry Weiss or Tom Cotton to admit that.
steve bannon
Well, Tom Cotton took a shot.
He said the – You know, yes, I really try.
tucker carlson
I've spent a lot of my life being cruel and really cruel, and I'll have to answer for that someday, and at times dishonest.
steve bannon
What do you mean cruel?
tucker carlson
Just going after people's weaknesses.
No, that's my instinct always.
I mean, I grew up as a debater and I'm nasty in some ways.
And so I look at some of the players in this whom I've known since they got to Washington.
Since, again, I'm from here.
I had breakfast at the Metropolitan Club this morning alone.
And no, this is like my city, right?
My dad worked for the government.
This is where we're from.
And I look at these people who I've known since they came in from the provinces, including the senator you mentioned, who's from a state I used to live in.
And, you know, you could really be mean about it.
And they are mean.
You know, they've attacked my family and all this stuff a lot.
But I'm trying not to respond that way.
My interest is really simple.
I don't want the United States.
Emashed in another Middle Eastern war that doesn't serve our interests.
I saw that last time.
I covered that war.
I had a friend killed in that war.
steve bannon
Talk about Iraq, because Iraq is some of the same voices at the Fox platform.
tucker carlson
You know, the Fox platform is just, it's so disgraceful.
You know, there's so many good people at Fox.
I worked for the Murdochs for, you know, all in over 20 years.
I always liked them.
I like them now.
I'm not attacking them personally, and tons of people at Fox are my friends.
And there's a lot about Fox that I love.
And they were kind to me, always.
Even when they fired me, they were nice.
I just want to say that.
But the one theme that runs longitudinally through the history of Fox is the promotion of wars that don't help the United States.
steve bannon
Why is that?
tucker carlson
It's the owners are committed to that vision.
And they are elaborately polite, nice people.
You know them.
Rupert and Laughlin, I mean, if they were sitting here, there's no chance you wouldn't like them, and they're interesting, and they're smart, and they're just nice.
They're super nice.
But we disagree fundamentally on that.
And the claws really come out at moments like this.
You know, most of the time, it's, you know, it's fine.
But when it really comes down, when it's a question of whether U.S. military power will be exerted on behalf of a foreign country thousands of miles from here, they are all in, and anyone who stands in the way will be destroyed.
I don't think it's personal, by the way.
I like Tom Cotton.
Always like Barry Weiss.
Barry Weiss is a very charming person.
I like all these people.
I always like Mark Levin.
I got along with him.
I mean, he's blowhard, sad personal life and all that, but I was never mad at Mark Levin or Hannity.
steve bannon
Brilliant constitutional guy.
tucker carlson
Yeah, there are great things about all these people.
I don't think they hate me personally.
They know I'm not working for Qatar.
I feel like maybe I should be working for Qatar.
Like, what the hell?
At this point, I've never taken a dime from any foreign country or anybody, actually.
steve bannon
In fact, you just bought out, I think it was announced you bought out your investors.
tucker carlson
Yeah, I'm not a money guy.
I mean, they're projecting.
If you could see my house, like, I've made more money than I deserve, but I've not gotten rich, and I don't live like a rich person.
Everyone knows that.
They're money people.
That's why they're projecting, or they're people with opaque motives.
My motives are, I'm like autistic about my whole life.
I just, I'm totally happy to tell you why I'm doing what I'm doing, and I want to be transparent, and I think pretty much I am.
They're the ones who have these weird, complex motives, and so they project onto everyone else the same.
Oh, you're getting paid by somebody.
You're not sincere.
You don't really think that.
You're saying it in order to get clicks.
It's also dumb.
And in my case, untrue.
You may dislike my views, and you may have good reason to dislike my views, and I understand that.
But they're totally sincere.
Anyway, my temptation in a moment like this is to go low.
And to note that a lot of the people pushing for this stuff have really empty, tormented personal lives.
That's true of many in Washington.
And that this is a way to kind of feel powerful.
I mean, nothing makes you feel more powerful than killing other people.
That's the ultimate power.
And we talk so much about money and sex, and those are drivers of human behavior, of course.
Those are powerful impulses in people to accumulate more of both.
But really, the ultimate power, the Promethean power, the core power, is the power to kill.
And when you deny that to people, or you seek to deny that to people, or you raise the point that actually you can't kill people, and that when you do, you will suffer for that.
As you said the other day, and I just, I loved, I meditated on it, in that moment in Matthew, and it's not just in Matthew, it's in John, it's in a number of Gospels, where Jesus scolds Peter for raising the sword in his defense.
They're hauling off Jesus to torture him to death for no reason!
All he did was heal people!
And his closest disciple seeks to defend him with violence, and Jesus scolds him!
And then gets hauled off to the torture.
steve bannon
By the way, they could have made a break.
They would have stood up, and Jesus wouldn't have been seized, and it had all gone on.
But he told him right there, live by the sword, die by the sword.
tucker carlson
And he scolds him!
It's unbelievable!
He's mad at Peter.
It's just incredible.
Anyway, whether or not you believe in Christian It is true that people who espouse violence suffer in the end.
They do.
I have seen it a lot.
And I grew up in a world that espoused violence.
That's what the U.S. government does.
My dad was involved in it.
And I just believe that.
And maybe you don't believe that.
That's fine.
That is my core belief.
I sincerely think that but why the hate towards someone who's just like hey I'm If you think, and I said this to an Israeli official, if you think I'm anti-Israel, man, you are, you have lost the plot, son!
If you think I'm your enemy, not at all.
I like Israel.
Are you kidding?
I've spent a lot of time there.
I continue to like it.
I pray that Jerusalem is not damaged.
I feel so sad for the Israelis who've been killed in the last couple days and the Iranians who've been killed in the last couple days with nothing to do with any of this.
But the point is, if you think, That saying, hey, let's focus on my country where I was born, where my family's been for hundreds of years.
That was the promise of the last election.
Please do it.
If you think that's hate, you know, you've really lost perspective, I guess is what I would say.
But they do think it's hate.
And what's happened is what I knew would happen, which is just like, oh, attacks I don't want to deal with that are affecting personal friendships that I care about.
The viciousness and the dishonesty is...
Anyway, not to whine.
I never whine about stuff like that.
It's just that I knew this was going to happen.
I didn't want to talk about it at all.
I'd much rather talk about immigration.
I'd much rather talk about keeping the dollar stores out of rural America.
I'd much rather talk about people taking out loans to buy groceries.
These are the declining life expectancy in this country.
Fentanyl.
I mean, someone else I know just died of fentanyl last week.
It's like all of that is now ignored because A leader of a country who does not have majority support in that country, probably 30% support, wants a course of action that includes the United States.
And I just disagree.
Anyway, I think it's going to happen.
Who cares what I think?
steve bannon
Do you think we're enjoying the offensive combat operation?
Well, we have to.
We can't assume that we have to stop that.
tucker carlson
But these things are never the product of like, look, you've actually helped run the governments.
I don't need to tell you.
You've been there.
Decisions like this are never explicitly made.
They just sort of happen.
steve bannon
Yes.
tucker carlson
Sort of like living with your girlfriend.
You wake up hungover one morning and she's there, and then she just kind of doesn't leave, and the next thing you know, you get married and have kids.
That's how most people make decisions, just sort of on the basis of facts on the ground.
And these things move inexorably toward what they're moving to now, which is full-scale war that includes lots of other countries, either explicitly It's a world war.
It's a war in which the world is participating.
steve bannon
Well, I think we're in the kinetic part from Ukraine, but today they just moved the carrier battle group from the South China Sea.
The Nimitz is heading toward the North Arabian Sea.
So they've got the tankers have flown over there.
So we're pre-positioning the assets to get involved.
And you think that this is going to happen?
There's no way we can stop it.
tucker carlson
I mean, I think there are ways to stop it.
Oh, you are such a nice person.
Sorry, I needed the sacred beverage.
No, of course there are ways to stop it.
It's just that unless you take It's like unless you are a crazy person devoted to being thin, you will get fatter in your 50s.
Like you have to take active steps to prevent the inevitable, something that is inevitable otherwise.
And in this case, what's inevitable absent those active monomaniacal steps It's too easy to pull the United States into.
We have too many assets in that region.
We're too dependent on the energy from that region.
International oil markets are.
I mean, there's so many things that could go wrong, actually.
As horrifying as the exchange between Israel and Iran has been, horrifying in the sense that innocents have died, which, let me remind you, is horrifying always and everywhere.
steve bannon
We have to believe that.
Tehran's got hit.
Civilians are dead.
tucker carlson
in both places and if we don't think that that's Like, you have to believe that's sad, and you have to really mean it.
Whether or not, you know, you can hate the Iranian government.
I'm not for the Iranian government.
But if you don't see the death of innocence anywhere as sad, then you are gravely diminished.
Certainly as a Christian.
Anyway, whatever.
But there are so many ways to pull the United States into this, and the incentives to pull the U.S. in are so profound.
I guess, if I could just say one political thing, Watching Donald Trump, who, of course, you know very well, who I think at core is sincere about peace.
unidentified
Oh, big time.
tucker carlson
Yeah, big time.
Big time.
I mean, that's real.
Watching him done so wrong.
The lies.
Oh, he knew all along.
You know, the peace process was fake.
Steve Wyckoff was playing along.
That is a lie.
That's a lie.
I know.
That's a lie.
Those guys meant it.
steve bannon
Bald face lying.
tucker carlson
It's a total lie.
And all these people that Mark Levin and all of the minions who are running cover for a foreign government, they're all telling that same lie.
And I just, I feel for President Trump, and I think, I don't know this, I'm just guessing, but at this point I feel like he just has to kind of roll with it.
You know, what do you say?
You don't want to get in an argument about that right in the middle of a war.
steve bannon
No, I think he reiterated last night that we've got to get back to the peace part.
They've got to lay down the guns.
tucker carlson
But they're lying about him!
He's sincerely, even now.
He sincerely believes, whether he's right or not, I can't say, but that this could be a predicate to a peace deal, what we're seeing now.
He really thinks that and wants that.
And the other side is just like, no, a peace deal is immoral.
steve bannon
It's the other side, but the other side also has the apparatus here.
This is what happened in the U.S. When Ukraine attacked, we still haven't asked Ratcliffe.
Was the CIA involved?
There's zero probability Ukraine could attack deep into Russia without some involvement.
Here, the exact same thing.
Why was Tulsi Gabbard not invited to the Camp David meeting all day?
tucker carlson
You know why.
steve bannon
Why Tulsi Gabbard still to the American public has said, the last public statement, is that the program was not back up and running.
And now we have from Beebe by himself on Fox by Brent Baer that the thing was 12 to 13 months away.
It wasn't this weekend.
unidentified
I know.
steve bannon
And this is by his own thing.
And we also know that it was a decapitation.
As we said on Friday, it wasn't just about the nuclear program.
It's a decapitation of total leadership.
So this is a total regime change, which, by the way, you may have a plan for regime change.
It's fine.
But you've got to bring the American people on.
Let me go back.
tucker carlson
By the way, I said that publicly last week.
The point of this is regime change.
I know everyone involved.
I know.
I'm telling the truth.
I have no weird motive here at all.
I don't hate Israel.
steve bannon
Plus, you know the players.
tucker carlson
I know the players personally.
steve bannon
And you know the Iraq situation.
tucker carlson
This isn't a regime change effort, and why not just say that?
But, oh, you're a Holocaust denier for saying that.
Stop!
Let's have a rational conversation about what our aims are here, and maybe you can convince me that we need to support a regime change war in Iran.
Tell me how that plays out in a country of 90 million people.
Have you thought it through?
Do you even care?
And the answer is no.
Economic and political and demographic crisis in Europe because of U.S.-backed, Israel-backed wars in the Middle East.
That's what's destroyed Europe, where my ancestors came from.
And I spent a lot of time there, and I love European culture, which is Christian culture.
And it's destroyed that.
Shut up!
You're not allowed to care!
Who's making the rules here?
You know, I don't hate anyone.
I don't see conflict with anyone at all.
I have no weird biases.
All my biases are out in the open.
But I really resent being told who my enemy, especially with foreigners.
Some foreigner shows up and tells you who your enemies are?
Really?
I've been here a long time.
I live across from my parents' graves.
You can't tell me who America's enemies are.
At least I have a right to weigh in on that also.
Oh, shut up, says Mark Dubowitz or something.
It's like, are you even from here?
Who are you anyway?
This is so bonkers.
I don't hate Mark Dubowitz.
I don't hate his agenda.
What I hate, I disagree with his agenda.
I'm not mad at him.
I'm not mad at any of these people fundamentally.
But what I seek is an honest, open, transparent conversation about what we're doing and why.
And I don't think that's too much to ask for considering it's my tax dollars and my money that you're seeking to use to achieve it.
If that's radical...
steve bannon
If you look at the debt, $9 trillion associated with Iraq and Afghanistan.
I want to go back to Iraq.
We played on Friday.
We did the whole opening thing of the bombing, everything going, everybody on TV beating their chest because at that time it looked like Israel was telling, hey, this thing's over now, people jumping in.
And we finished with shock and awe from March 19th of 2003.
And I said, hey, look.
If you go back in that time, they were all beating their chest then in the march up country to Baghdad and they couldn't be better.
Remember, they're throwing roses on the ground, all that.
And it was 20 years later, a complete fiasco because it's always the law of unintended consequences.
That's what we face here.
This thing has not been thought through, right?
It does not have the commitment of the American people.
You have to bring the American people.
The American people are not there to get into another war right now.
tucker carlson
And why is the Congress not actively debating this?
There's one person.
Marjorie Taylor Greene is like the only – oh, and now – Okay, all right, now.
Now we're really in the last scene of Animal Farm.
steve bannon
She's just some tiny congressman from rural Georgia.
tucker carlson
She's just some liberal from suburban Atlanta.
I mean, it's also mind-bending.
And I have to say, you know, the level of unanimity, the sort of instantaneous response from 535 members of Congress that we're going to do this one thing, no debate, anyone who says otherwise is evil.
It does make you wonder, like, what is this system?
steve bannon
Are you an appeaser?
You've been called now an appeaser and a pacifist.
unidentified
I'm a pacifist!
Why have they thrown...
steve bannon
What have you said here in the last 72 hours as a factual matter that would make you an appeaser?
tucker carlson
I'm an American above all.
I am not a genius.
I'm not a prophet.
I've been wrong many, many times.
And it's possible I'm wrong now, but my motives are transparent.
I love this country.
I have nowhere else to go.
I will not go anywhere else, and I just want what's best for it.
We can debate what's best for it.
But to tell me that I'm working for a foreign nation is like, by people who are literally working for foreign nations, it's like so nuts!
I will say this.
Our political system is paralyzed in the face of this completely.
It's not doing what it was designed to do, which is channel the views of the people through the apparatus of government.
It's not doing that at all.
It's short-circuiting and ignoring their opinions.
And I don't fully understand it.
I know that our system is not working.
And I don't think there's any country on the planet looking at us saying, "Oh, I want that system." Oh, wow.
That version of democracy.
I think we should report that.
steve bannon
If you look at Trump as that trade deals to bring jobs back, seal the border and deport the illegal aliens and no more forever wars as the basic planks in November of last year that won.
Yes.
It is at least working at that level that the message can get out and we have a new coalition.
We have African-American men, Hispanics, families, you know, Star County, Texas, the most Hispanic county in the country, 97 percent, hard-bitten, blue-collar Hispanic citizens.
We lose to Hillary by 60 points.
Trump wins in November by 16 points.
It's coming our way in this new coalition.
It's incredible.
Including even the summit, and I get limited appetite, from even the tech bros and that crowd.
It's a new coalition like 1932, right?
Where FDR had professors at Harvard and cracker Democrats down south and ranchers out west and people in inner cities and Irish and Italians and all that.
A new coalition that could govern for 50 years.
And one wasp.
But it's something that could govern for 50 years.
That's out.
Now we're into the governing of it, where those are the priorities.
And particularly, President Trump has now tripled down with the ICE raids and saying, hey, these sanctuary cities are going to go.
We're going to get these people out of here.
That, to me, is the top battle in this Third World War.
We have 10 million illegal aliens just on Biden's watch.
Is it not able to win elections but not able to govern?
Is that the issue?
tucker carlson
You know, I really don't know.
There's something really wrong.
There are certain red lines that you can't cross, and they're almost all foreign policy related.
I do think that the people pushing hardest for American involvement in a war with Iran really hate Trump's domestic agenda.
Mark Levin was a never-Trumper in 2016, of course.
They all do, the Bill Crystals.
They all hate what Trump is trying to do in the United States.
steve bannon
Which is populist economics.
tucker carlson
Yeah, they hate it.
They hate it.
That's exactly right.
steve bannon
We'll see this in the tax bill.
tucker carlson
I campaigned for Trump, with Trump.
I gave up, this sounds so whiny, but like grouse season, which is my favorite time of year in October and left my dogs at home suffering.
Like, where are you?
And I went on the road with Trump and I loved it.
And I was with him.
I was standing right next to him when he won.
I have a picture on my phone of that, which I would never show anybody else, but I look at it because it was one of my happiest moments.
It was the happiest moment in politics and I've seen a lot that I've ever participated in.
And look, of course, governing is really hard and you're never going to do everything you promised you would do, but on the big things, But the system's run.
steve bannon
This is the deep state part of it.
tucker carlson
What is the system?
steve bannon
We barely have a grip.
We have two good guys.
Kash Patel is like a brother to me and Dan Bongino, great guy.
We have two people at FBI.
We barely have a grip there.
We have a handful of people at Justice.
We barely have a grip there.
We have two people at Ellis and Ratcliffe at CIA.
We have a handful of people with Tulsi.
And Corey and a couple other people, you know, the Homan at DHS.
But DHS is still getting people out here the old-fashioned way.
That's where they're burning through cash.
In these central apparatuses of the deep state, we barely have a grip on it.
And they're running the deal.
tucker carlson
We can't get the Kennedy files out.
62 years later.
And we still can't get those files.
There are thousands of documents that have not been released as of today.
Not just CIA, okay?
So, look, we're living in a post-coup country.
Everything that happened post-1963, every elected official, certainly every official elected at the national level, lives with that hanging over him.
They took out this guy, and whoever did it is so powerful that we can't even know today.
When John McCone is 50 years in the grave, had the CIA then, everyone's gone, and we still can't find out exactly what happened?
Today!
steve bannon
Sources and methods.
tucker carlson
They don't even say that anymore.
They don't say anything.
They're just like, oh, we released jail.
No, you didn't.
You lie.
You lie.
I know.
I'm from here.
I know.
So I do think there's a sense in which some of our leaders feel the presence of a physical threat.
I don't think that I know it.
steve bannon
Well, to wit, Trump is two assassination attempts.
tucker carlson
Well, at least two.
And you can't have...
steve bannon
Two from Iran, two that were Not from Iran!
tucker carlson
And for...
unidentified
For Bibi to say he's got two...
tucker carlson
I mean, I do think that Netanyahu could make his case by telling the truth.
I don't think there's any reason to lie.
Again, that's a lie.
He knows that Iran, and then he, Bret Baier pressed him and he's like, oh, it's your proxies anyway, but the point is, the point is, you know, as a high school debater, I know how this works.
unidentified
That was a pivot.
tucker carlson
But the point is over here, it's three card money, it's the gypsies, you know.
Okay.
No, Iran did not try to assassinate the president during the last election, and by the way, if Iran did try to assassinate Trump, and we know that, then why are we not at war with Iran?
What are you saying, Bibi?
Are you saying that the President of the United States is such a cuck that a foreign country can try and murder him and he won't do anything about it?
Is that what you're saying?
I mean, if the administration believed Iran was behind two assassination attempts against Donald Trump, trust me, we'd nuke the country.
You're not allowed to murder an American president.
So that's not true, and everyone knows it's not true.
But what is true is that the American president was murdered, and we're still not allowed to know who did it and why.
And I just think until that is cleared, and I've never been a Kennedy obsessive or whatever, not interested in the Kennedys especially.
I'm not Irish.
But as a matter of, like, governance, how can you have a president or a senator who truly does his best to uphold the core idea of a democratic republic, which is, like, the people's opinions matter?
You can't have that because he's worried about getting killed.
That's just true.
And nobody says that.
I don't know why don't they say that.
If this were happening in Liberia, you'd be like, it's not a real government because whenever the president tries, you know, strays outside the pre-prescribed boundaries, he gets murdered or worries about getting murdered.
Pretty much the same thing.
You would not describe that as a functioning democracy.
And yet we just pretend that this is not happening, but it is happening.
And boy, do you see it on foreign policy.
It's the only issue they care about.
You really think that Mark Levin, like, cares how many Somalis are in Minnesota?
No, not at all.
The more the better.
All he cares about is the projection of force using American service personnel to fight faraway wars that have no material benefit, in fact, have massive downside for the United States.
That's his whole orientation.
steve bannon
The platform of Fox, though, it's just not Mark.
Why is Fox, like, all weekend, it's just cheerleading.
You can play side-by-side Iraq in 2003.
tucker carlson
Oh, I was there.
steve bannon
And here.
And what's happening today?
Why is this apparatus?
tucker carlson
Well, Levin's the funniest because he's terrible on TV.
And, again, I never had any problems with him at Fox.
He kind of controls Hannity in this weird way.
I never understood what that was about.
I never really cared to learn.
Sean was great to me.
Always nice.
And so was Levin.
So I just, like, kind of stayed away.
But they didn't want to put him on TV because he's, like, screechy and he's just not a coming present.
Like, unless you're literally floating in and out of consciousness and the attendant has taken the remote to go have a cigarette, you're going to flip the channel.
It's like listening to your ex-wife screaming about alimony payments.
It's, like, not appealing.
So they wouldn't put him on TV.
And then, you know, Sean pushed and they gave him some kind of weekend show that nobody watched.
Now, I don't have a TV, but someone who owns a TV was just telling me that he's like all over prime time.
So what is that?
That's not by popular acclaim.
That's not like their viewer surveys.
Like, you know, we need a lot more Mark Levin.
Less Jesse Waters, more Mark Levin.
unidentified
What they're doing is what they always do, which is just...
steve bannon
This is where the population, the voters, are ahead of the political class and the media.
The American people do not want any more engagement in a foreign war.
They saw Iraq.
They saw Afghanistan.
We're just out.
tucker carlson
I think because they're racist.
Is that what you're saying?
They're just bigots.
steve bannon
So why has Fox continued to pound that?
tucker carlson
Because they really, really mean it.
And you saw they really mean it.
I mean, there is a kind of sincerity there that I respect.
I don't know why they fired me, but I think it no one ever told me.
And I just want to say for the fifth time, they could not have been nicer when they fired me.
And they couldn't have been, you know, more friendly.
I talked to them recently, to the owners recently, because I still like them, even though we disagree.
So I'm not whining about them as people, but I think they canned me from Fox or shut down my show.
Because I criticize Zelensky, and Zelensky's close to the owners of the company.
It's like, well, how did that happen?
Why is Zelensky...
I don't understand.
There's a lot I don't understand.
All I know is that it's not just Fox News.
It's the American media generally.
It's government institutions.
It's this city.
It's the people I used to live next to on Chambers Road Northwest in D.C. They are deadly serious on the subject of...
That is the one they have no sense of hearing about at all.
They'll lecture you all day about the gays and the black people and, you know, in this house, we believe in science.
They don't give a s*** about science or black people or gays or trans.
What they care about is the projection of force against their enemies on the other side of the globe.
That's why the Pentagon has a trillion dollar budget when the country is protected by the Atlantic and the Pacific.
steve bannon
And President Trump's strategy is a hemispheric defense.
What then are the steps that you're recommending?
If the program is we must take down the deep state or at least make some effort at it, what would be your recommendation?
tucker carlson
You've got to get CIA under control.
steve bannon
And how would you do that?
tucker carlson
By adding the number of political appointees.
You know, I think CIA has, you know, it's a federal agency whose budget we don't know, of course.
And it's not just a federal agency.
steve bannon
If the president, and I say this in all seriousness, a special government employee where you still had your podcast, you still had the Tucker Carlson network, would you go assist the president like Elon did with Doge?
Would you go assist him to say, hey, give me 120 days.
tucker carlson
I will give you advice.
unidentified
At CIA?
steve bannon
No, the whole thing.
CIA.
Pentagon, DIA, the DNI, all of it, the FBI, DOJ, just say, hey, look, here's the battle map, here's what we have to do, or we're not going to have, we don't really have a constitutional republic.
tucker carlson
I mean, I'm unable to organize a sock drawer, so I don't think that I have the temperament.
I don't think I have the skills for that.
steve bannon
Do you have the insight to do that?
tucker carlson
I grew up around it.
I know a lot about it.
steve bannon
I think this has to happen.
I'm being very serious.
tucker carlson
I would be killed immediately, of course.
steve bannon
Do you think you would be subject to assassination?
unidentified
I don't know.
tucker carlson
I think that would be perilous.
I would do it.
I feel like what I'm doing now, I love Trump, and I mean that, I've never, Of course!
unidentified
I mean, you've certainly been through that.
tucker carlson
But my dog's frustrated.
My kid's frustrated.
I mean, you get frustrated when you deal with people you love.
But my core feeling about Trump, and I think it's obvious in the way I talk about him, and I don't need any more money.
I don't need anything from anybody.
If I don't like Trump, I just say so.
I actually really love Trump.
I think he's a deeply humane, kind person.
And I am saying this because I'm, I think we're going to see the end of American empire, obviously.
Other nations would like to see that, and this is a perfect way to scuttle the USS America on the shoals of Iran.
But it's also going to end, I believe, Trump's presidency and effectively end it.
And so that's why I'm saying this.
steve bannon
What do you mean by that?
That's coming from you.
tucker carlson
Look, I knew Bush.
I knew George W. Bush.
We had family connections to Bush.
I knew Bush.
Personally, I still see Bush sometimes.
And, you know, of course, he hates me and he does because I criticized him on Iraq.
And that war is the sum total from historical perspective of his administration.
But I knew him and he had all kinds of plans for the things that he wanted to do.
steve bannon
Domestically.
tucker carlson
Domestically to improve the country.
And you may agree or disagree, but like in his mind, he wasn't just.
About the invasion of Iraq in March of 2000.
unidentified
Oh, no, no.
steve bannon
He was going to redo Social Security.
unidentified
100%.
steve bannon
He was going to take care of the entitlements issue.
tucker carlson
And he really thought it was going to work.
And you could laugh at that or whatever.
But the point is, the second you get enmeshed in a real war, not a fake, let's go bomb the villagers and declare success.
We don't even have a good track record.
Why are the Houthis still there?
There's a whole other question, which is how prepared is the U.S. military for a real conflict?
And the answer is totally unprepared.
Scary, unprepared.
I don't think people understand that.
But anyway, the only reason I'm saying any of this is because I really, really care.
And it's been what a disaster for me personally.
I mean, it's like the last thing I wake up, you know, all these texts, you know, I can't believe you're so evil, you hate this or that.
I just want to restate, I don't hate anybody.
And to the extent I do hate people, I try to repent of it.
I don't want to hate anybody.
I really don't.
I just don't want my country.
To be further weakened or destroyed by another one of these wars.
And boy, if you can't connect the dots after 25 years of this s***, you're either too dumb to participate in the conversation or you're, like Mark Levin, just a liar who doesn't care.
steve bannon
I know you've got to bounce.
We're going to hang up this afternoon.
One question.
If you were able to see the president in the next couple of days when he gets back, what would be the two or three things you would tell him, Mr. President?
This is my heartfelt advice about where we are right now.
tucker carlson
I can tell you because I think I try to speak exactly the same way you know me.
I speak exactly the same in private.
I use the F word more.
But in general, I say the same things.
And I would say to him, you're the only person who can bring peace.
You should continue to try and do that.
It's difficult.
It takes a long time.
But your timetable is the only timetable that matters.
Don't get bum-rushed.
You don't need to fix this because there's political turmoil in Bibi's coalition.
That's not relevant to America's interests.
steve bannon
30% approval is not your problem.
tucker carlson
Yeah, just because some ultra-Orthodox party doesn't want to be conscripted or whatever's going on in Israel, these are long-time problems that that country has had.
That's not relevant to our plans or to your plans as the leader of the free world, okay?
A. B. If you get involved in a war that includes American troops and force, if you're lobbing missiles from submarines into Iran, are doing combat sorties.
I actually say we're a combatant now, but I mean, you could basically argue maybe not what the air And but I want to pretend we're not because we're in the final stages of being able to pull back.
And pretty soon there's no pulling back.
You know, we're still sending money to Ukraine to fight Vladimir Putin.
Like, how did that happen?
It happened because nobody just stopped it.
Nobody said, hey, Zelensky, you're not even elected.
You're a dictator.
Off the stage.
Run to Switzerland.
You know, get out of here.
steve bannon
The intelligence services are helping from Wiesbaden to plan the 3,000-mile strike into their strategic assets in the country.
tucker carlson
The U.S. intel services are also fully aware of the many assassinations and assassination attempts against opponents and critics of the Ukrainian regime.
Many, including someone I know.
So, this is super dark, man.
The more you know about it, it's like the U.S., the IC, American intel community, is aware.
That the Ukrainian intel community is murdering people, including Americans?
Like, how can that even happen?
So there's a lot.
But the last thing I'll say is the second, I've seen it, the second the killing starts, the calculations change.
People become much less principled, much less reasonable, much less able to see.
steve bannon
Vengeance and annihilation.
tucker carlson
And they can't see their own interests clearly.
And so don't go there.
steve bannon
And you think right now we're on the cusp of that?
tucker carlson
I'm an optimistic man, and I think we could pull back, and I wish the president wasn't in Canada.
I don't wish a trip to Canada on anyone, because I think it's a really dark country.
I hope he gets home soon, because you don't want any of that Canadian to rub off on you while you're there.
But yeah, I mean, I think that this can be stopped, but it's going to require a really tough step, which is to say to our client state, we love you, we want to help you.
We don't think you're acting in your own interests.
But, you know, we could debate that.
But what we're not going to do is imperil American national security or the American economy or America itself on your behalf.
We're not going to do that.
Because that's immoral for us to do that.
Our population doesn't want it.
And we're saying this with love.
But no.
No.
As you would say to a child.
I mean, you've got a bunch of kids.
You say no to them.
Of course you do.
Because you love them.
It's okay to do that.
And, you know, there are proxies in the United States.
And Barry and that Levin character will jump.
unidentified
I hate them.
tucker carlson
Don't hate them at all.
eric trump
I like them.
tucker carlson
This is crazy.
What's the endgame here?
The endgame, of course, is to topple the regime and just have this 90 million person civil war and further destroy Europe and the world.
You know, it's like we're not doing that again.
Already been through this.
We're not doing that again.
And this is big boy stuff.
This is not Gaza.
And I, you know, I never say anything about Gaza because I really tried, very offended by it.
They blew up a church in Gaza with my money.
I'm a Christian.
Like, no.
How about no?
I said one thing about that, but I've never heard the end of it.
But I've tried to stay away from Gaza, but now we're talking about a huge country.
We're talking about Southwest Asia, one of the biggest energy purchases in the world.
steve bannon
In an ancient civilization.
This is not...
tucker carlson
Also, since you're not going to convince me that the Iranians, I don't like...
I'm not on the side of the Shiite clerics.
I'm a freaking Episcopalian.
Settle down.
However, you're not going to convince me that the Iranian people are my enemy.
Again, we're going down this year.
Here's who you're required to hate.
It's Orwell, man.
I'm a free man.
You're not telling me who I have to hate.
I'll decide who I like and don't like on the basis of my values and what I believe my interests are.
They spent, you know, five years telling me, Vladimir Putin is your enemy.
No, he's not.
I'm not mad at Vladimir Putin.
Tell me why I should be.
I'm mad at you.
You know what I mean?
unidentified
This is like, whatever.
tucker carlson
It's all so fake.
I'm not playing along.
steve bannon
And here, you're going to be doing interviews to take this, actually take it up a couple of notches.
tucker carlson
I really just want to get away from this topic.
Because it's one of those topics that intersects with a lot of other things.
So it's not like Belgium is getting frisky with Liechtenstein and, like, I have an opinion on that.
This is a country that's, you know, at the very center of the three biggest religions in the world that is, you know, a Jewish state.
So whatever that means exactly.
And so it has an emotional resonance for...
It's not like, you know, when things happen in Sweden or the UK where my ancestors are from, people aren't quite as emotional.
It's very emotional.
So I don't want anything to do with it at all.
I don't want to criticize Bibi.
I don't wanna talk about Gaza, I don't want, look, I feel completely backed into a corner here where it's like we are on the cusp of entering a war on behalf I've got four kids.
I want to have grandkids.
Like, are you even joking?
Stop!
And I tried to be, like, quiet about it.
I don't want to get involved in any of this because, again, people are so emotional.
I mean, you should see my text this morning.
I got threatened by someone this morning, actually, who I like.
steve bannon
Threatened as by a friend, a colleague, or somebody that just came and said it's too much?
tucker carlson
It's very careless what you said.
It's very careless.
Careless?
I was like, hey, asshole, I know what you're saying.
I got it.
Very careless.
Anyway, whatever.
I'm not AOC.
Oh, I'm under such threat.
I'm not under threat.
But what I'm saying is I don't want to be involved in this at all.
And I think most Americans don't.
And it's only because...
and by a tiny minority of people, like I know a million people who are pro-Israel and Jewish or It doesn't, like, why do we allow 3% of the participants in this conversation to define the terms?
You know, if you are okay with any Iranian enrichment at all, you're for the Ayatollahs and you're against Israel.
What?
Shut up.
No, I'm not going to allow you to define the terms.
A total liar?
I mean, these are liars.
Like, for real.
We'll say anything.
I'm working for Qatar.
Trump was actually pretending to go through a peace process.
steve bannon
No, that thing was terrible.
tucker carlson
And Steve Wyckoff, who I know very well, who's one of the most pure-hearted people, whether you agree with him or not.
If you're calling into question Steve Wyckoff's motives, Wyckoff doesn't need any of this.
He's just doing it because he wants to help.
That's it.
He's paying for it himself!
And if you're telling me that Steve Witkoff is working for Qatar, that's what set me over the edge, because I know Witkoff well, and I really love Steve Witkoff, and I think he's, I don't agree with him on everything, but I think he's like a decent man who wants what's best for Donald Trump, his best friend, and the United States.
And that's enough for me.
Like, I see his motive as pure.
It is pure.
I know him well.
And when they're calling him an anti-semi, it's like so nuts.
That's when I was like, oh, I can't believe I have to get involved in this, but...
It's just too much.
You can't let that go unresponded to.
You have to stand up and say, I'm sorry, that's just not true.
That's a lie, and you know it's a lie.
steve bannon
But you're not going to back down from this.
tucker carlson
I want to back down immediately.
I just want to get away from this.
I want to go back.
I'm missing a lot of my favorite things and a lot of my favorite people.
I don't want to argue about Israel of all subjects.
oh my gosh, and I don't want to become I'm not gonna become a crazy person or a hater.
Part of the dynamic here is, I've seen this happen to many people, not many, but I have seen it happen, where they say, "You love Putin." They've said that to me for years now, and then one day you're like, "F*** it, I love Putin." Okay.
I think Putin's an amazing leader.
I've always thought that, but I'm not like a close friend of Putin's, they can drive you, You sort of grow into the attack.
And there's no chance I'm going to let that happen to myself.
There's just no chance.
I'm not going to become a hater.
I'm not going to become obsessed with Israel.
I just want to get away from the topic.
A lot of other things going on.
Just stop trying to drag my country into war.
That's it.
steve bannon
Tucker Carlson, thank you so much for coming by.
unidentified
Good to see you!
steve bannon
I'm just in the neighborhood, dropped by.
Tucker and I will be hanging out this afternoon, I guess.
I can't wait.
tucker carlson
I'm going to ask you lots of hard questions.
steve bannon
Lots of hard questions.
Hopefully I'll have some answers.
Let's take a short commercial break.
We've got a rolling break.
Let's go and take a short commercial break.
Tucker, thank you for coming by.
tucker carlson
Thank you.
Oh my gosh, I love it.
steve bannon
We'll see you this afternoon.
Thank you.
Remember the old days?
tucker carlson
It hasn't changed at all.
Like, at all.
steve bannon
It's still very gonzo.
It's quite gonzo.
Very gonzo.
Short commercial break.
Back in a moment.
