Pope Leo XIV presided over his first inaugural Mass yesterday.
He presented his homily to a crowd of nearly 200,000 people in St. Peter's Square.
Several world leaders were in attendance, including Vice President J.D. Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
The Pope called for unity across the Church and vowed not to rule like an autocrat.
After the mass, Pope Leo met privately with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who thanked the Vatican for its readiness to hold direct talks between Ukraine and Russia, has won the presidential election in Romania.
Nikoshev Don, the centrist mayor of Bucharest, beat the hard-right candidate who is aligned with President Trump.
That candidate, George Simeon, has opposed military aid to Ukraine.
The mayor's election...
To the presidency is being welcomed by European allies.
joe scarborough
One who is considered a sort of MAGA-style candidate was considered a shoo-in.
I mean, we've seen this time and again, and once again, a moderate shocks the political world.
unidentified
Yeah, and he had this kind of outsized personality, background in football, played.
You know, to the MAGA card very clearly invoked Donald Trump as well during the election campaign.
And the polling had suggested that he was in a good position, particularly after last year's debated Romanian election.
But it is a sign that we've seen it in Canada, we've seen it in Australia, and now we've seen it in Romania.
And the losing candidate, we should say at the moment, is claiming that the election was rigged again.
We've seen that MAGA playbook and that it was stolen from him.
But it is a sign that populism doesn't work everywhere at the moment.
Go!
It's a bit easier.
It has been a privilege for me to be your friend and a leader in this fight.
I will fight together with you in all the battles we have ahead of us.
This war is just starting and I will be there shoulder by shoulder with everyone of you.
I'm proud of you.
Thank you.
steve bannon
This is the primal scream of a dying regime.
unidentified
Pray for our enemies, because we're going medieval on these people.
steve bannon
I got a free shot at all these networks lying about the people.
The people had a belly full of it.
I know you don't like hearing that.
I know you've tried to do everything in the world to stop that, but you're not going to stop it.
It's going to happen.
jake tapper
And where do people like that go to share the big lie?
unidentified
Mega media.
jake tapper
I wish in my soul, I wish that any of these people had a conscience.
unidentified
Ask yourself, what is my task and what is my purpose?
steve bannon
If that answer is to save my country, this country will be saved.
unidentified
War Room.
Here's your host, Stephen K. Banham.

Monday, 19 May, Year of Our Lord, 2025.
I want to start, we're going to go to and talk about the Vatican and what happened.
Brian Kennedy wrote an amazing piece.
I think we're at The Blaze.
Ben Harnwell is going to join as soon as we get him up.
The situation in Romania, a big difference in Canada and Australia.
There really wasn't a MAGA candidate.
There really wasn't a populist nationalist sovereignty.
In Canada, a pale copy.
He lost to Carney, to the globalists.
In Australia, to the Labour Party, to the globalists there.
Didn't really put up a fight, I didn't think.
In Romania, very different.
The polling in, you know, we had George on a lot.
They kept talking about 60-40, 60-40, 60-40.
That was a big, big defeat.
And then what happened in Poland, I think, may have tracked a little better, but the runoff there is next weekend, so we'll cover that too.
But in Romania, it looks like, unless they can show that there really was a fraud, I mean, the globalists pulled it off.
They lost the election six months ago.
They pulled the candidate out, outlawed the election, using the courts.
Boom, next thing you know.
They run the table.
So this is where the courts are so powerful.
And this is when the United States, we're going to have a very, very, very big problem with the judicial insurrection.
Let's go.
I've got Ben Harno.
So, Ben, give me your assessment of yesterday.
You covered it.
Give me your assessment of Pope Leo XIV's coming out celebration, sir.
ben harnwell
Good evening, Steve.
Well, it was pretty much what the war room posse had been fearing as a continuation of the Bergoglio papacy, Francis 2.0.
There was talk about peace.
There was talk about unity, a specific call out to Ukraine.
Of course, thanks very much, Denver.
We have the footage to play of Zelensky being walked in to have his audience with Pope Leo.
Interestingly...
Pablo there in English could be heard saying in the background, nice to meet you again.
I wasn't aware that they'd had any meetings when he was a simple cardinal.
That must have been kept quiet.
But on the major issues right now, looking at the tone and tenor of his inaugural mass yesterday, there have been no indications that there's going to be a specific change.
An institutional directional change at this point.
What I would like to flag up, Steve, and this is so important, this is something that we did hit on on Saturday, is that you have Trad Inc., Trad Catholic Inc., going all in now.
On Leo saying, give the guy a chance.
They specifically refer to the fact that he wore the red mozzetta, which is that shawl thing, like a red velvet shawl thing, when he came out onto the balcony.
He wore it again yesterday at the mass.
And the importance of this is, Steve, and this cannot beat stress enough, it's exactly what we saw in the Ratzinger papacy.
You have a donut of grifters surrounding the Vatican and the church on the conference circuit, the NGOs, so-called Catholic media, and they are spinning to their readers.
To their followers, that this pope is different in tenor to Pope Francis.
There's been no evidence of that.
But it's all about the bottom line.
It's all about the fundraising.
It's all about, Steve, the grift.
steve bannon
Yeah, what do they anticipate is going to be different?
It's pretty obvious.
And Liz Schur is going to join us in a second.
They had an interview with a Chinese priest here.
They said that...
That Leo XIV, as Cardinal Prevost, has been to China many times.
ben harnwell
Wow.
steve bannon
So we'll get to that.
But what is Trad Inc.
expecting?
It's obvious, and he admits that he's in the direct lineage of Bergoglio.
He has a nicer bedside manner.
He's an Augustinian.
They're humble.
They're not arrogant like the Jesuits.
He's got a different bedside manner.
But there's no...
There's no gap between what Bergoglio tried to put the church through and what Pope Leo has basically said that he is a follower of.
Am I missing it somewhere in that?
ben harnwell
No, Steve, your analysis there is absolutely correct.
If you look, perhaps I'll post a link to this later on Rumble.
If you look at the footage in here...
The Pope's demeanour as he's talking with President Zelensky, you can pick up on the fact that the guy is a humble guy.
The way he carries himself, the way he talks, he has that, it's appealing.
And when you say, what did Trad Inc., what were they looking for?
I think they just wanted to be able to be left alone, to get on with their fundraising without Bergoglio.
Confronting them in their faces that he was not going to support their agenda.
And that's the thing about Bergoglio in his 12 years.
He got up in Trad Inc.'s grill.
Constantly.
And made it absolutely clear he had no time for them in the church.
He didn't believe that their place was in the church.
He thought their presence in the church was scandalous.
Pope Leo, by demeanour, by instinct.
He's more low-key than that, Steve.
But that is why he is more dangerous.
And it's absolutely imperative that the war room follows this and looks out for not the tone and the demeanour and these nice little personal bedside manners.
But they're looking at the substance.
And we can already assume from his...
He's met Zelensky twice already in just a few days.
We can already assume that on the issues where you, the American, are going to be paying through your taxes, you need to...
Hold this guy to account, drill down on him and push forward.
We'll talk about this with Brian Kennedy a little later.
It's absolutely imperative that the Catholic laity rediscover their sense of agency and have a Catholic church that is willing to defend their Christian values in the public square.
Not all of this globalist nonsense that's coming out of the Vatican.
steve bannon
Well, let's bring in Brian now.
Tell us about the piece in The Blaze, which was amazing.
And can you answer Ben's...
What Ben put out there, sir?
brian t kennedy
Yeah, well, thank you, Steve, and thanks, Ben.
The piece I wrote for The Blaze, theblaze.com, is really about how this new Pope, Leo XIV, has an opportunity to break from Francis.
Francis was a globalist who believed, you know, criticized President Trump when it came to President Trump, trying to reestablish borders here in this country.
He was for open borders in Europe.
In Europe, you have millions and millions of Muslims come into Europe, and Europe is now in deep trouble because of it.
Western civilization in so many ways has been corrupted by that.
And as we've been talking about here on The War Room, the Vatican brokered a deal with the Chinese Communist Party to have an official church of sorts in Communist China.
That embrace of globalism by Francis needs to be examined by Leo and rejected everywhere possible.
Catholic, the word Catholic means universal.
steve bannon
Hang on, hang on.
Answer one of the questions, you know, because the media has been covering this and they've done a good job of covering this.
They're trying to obviously paint MAGA as a bunch of radicals in the church.
Like they say, we're radicals in politics.
But it has been saturation coverage.
And Ben has done a great job of walking people through it.
And so the coverage, and Ben, we ought to make sure we're pushing this out constantly, all the different articles from all the big international newspapers and magazines.
But Brian, a lot of the people are saying, you know, you've got these ultra-nationalists and these nationalists, like MAGA and, you know, these other groups they've inspired throughout the world.
And we understand they're nationalists.
We don't agree with it.
But the Pope is the head of the Catholic Church.
By definition, it's universal.
Doesn't he have to be a globalist?
These guys are coming after him.
They're coming after Francis on something that is core to his job description.
Your response, sir?
brian t kennedy
Well, the core teaching of the Church is render unto God what is God's and render unto Caesar what is Caesar's.
Just because the Church is universal in nature, it's universal in the sense that...
The pope means to be a spiritual leader of the church.
But when it comes to each individual country, it's up to each individual country to decide for itself how it's going to govern itself.
The reason we're talking about this on the War Room, by the way, for those non-Catholics who are part of the War Room posse, is that the pope talks to one and a half billion Catholics around the world, whether it's in Poland or America or anywhere in Europe.
He is talking to them.
And so encouraging Pope Leo to say the right things about sovereignty, individuals, human decency, dignity of the kind that's been broached in communist China, all these things matter for all Americans, that you would have someone in Rome who would be opining or giving spiritual guidance to Catholics.
I think the thrust of my piece is that we have to reject globalism and embrace national sovereignty.
And that's well within the mandate of the Catholic Church to do so, and that each individual country is there to protect the citizens' rights.
And so the Catholic Church need not be globalist in its outlook, and hopefully Pope Leo will not be globalist in its outlook.
And you can see, I think, in what the Church has done in Communist China has really been not merely to harm the individual Catholics in Communist China, but to send a signal to the world that if you play nice with the Communist Party, they'll give you a little bit of freedom.
And that little bit of freedom should make you happy, and that should be enough for you.
unidentified
And I think it's incumbent upon the Catholic Church to be more aggressive.
steve bannon
When you talk about the continuity of Leo from Bergoglio, Pope Francis, what break do you want him to make?
And if he is said so far, I'm in the direct lineage, and he was picked as the wingman because he's only been a cardinal less than two years.
He was handpicked by Bergoglio.
He went to the dicastery to pick the archbishops to set up the next generation.
What two or three things would Brian Kennedy would say, okay, I see that's where he's actually breaking from Bergoglia and the trad Catholics should have a level of comfort here that maybe they're correct.
brian t kennedy
Let me first say, Steve, that I speak as an American.
I am a Catholic, but I think America first and foremost.
When it comes to Leo, the one thing he could do immediately is to make public the secret deal with the Chinese Communist Party.
And what was involved in that secret deal?
He should then have some kind of process to either repeal it entirely or to re-evaluate it after the public has had a chance to see it.
But the idea that the Catholic Church would be subordinate to the Chinese Communist Party is a disgusting thing.
The idea that in Communist China you'd replace...
The crucifix with a picture of Xi Jinping.
It should be offensive not merely to Catholics in China, but to decent people all over the world.
The second is just this ongoing globalist embrace of open borders, whether it's in the United States or in Europe.
That is leading to the death of the nation state.
Thankfully in America we have President Trump who has rejected that, has rebuilt our borders, is in the process of that, and is explaining to the American people why if they don't have borders they don't have a country.
Well pretty soon in Europe if they don't have borders they're not going to have Europe.
They're not going to have the individual countries of Europe.
This kind of approach is denigrating not merely Catholicism, but Western civilization more broadly, the idea that we're going to have open borders and that's going to be a kind of death cult when it comes to the destruction of Western civilization,
that seems to me something that Pope Leo should get his mind wrapped around very quickly here.
Finally, let me say, I close that piece in the blaze with the idea of Thomas Jefferson that rebellion to tyranny is obedience to God.
Now, that seems to me, Pope Leo is an American.
He might embrace the American founder who said that and think about that as he's leading this Catholic Church because we're slowly here entering an age of totalitarianism where the Chinese Communist Party is at the forefront and they control not merely their 1.4 billion people, but they have their tentacles around the world promoting their communist way of life everywhere they can.
And the Catholic Church, as one of its many roles, should be standing up against that and be defending the idea of human freedom wherever possible.
steve bannon
Liz, you've got kind of a blockbuster clip you pulled.
Brian's saying, and I think Ben agrees with me, the first order of business should be to open up and let the world see the secret deal with the Chinese Communist Party and then repudiate it.
You've got some breaking news on this topic, ma 'am?
liz yore
Steve, today we find out.
From the Chinese Cardinal, Cardinal Chao, that Prevost has been to China several times.
I mean, why weren't we told that beforehand?
I thought this was a poor Peruvian missionary bishop who has just been appointed cardinal.
We find he's gone to China several times.
Did China, the CCP, give their imprimatur to this man as pope?
And Cardinal Chao said that the new pope, Pope Leo, will follow in the path of Pope Francis in supporting the deal, the secret deal that has caused widespread destruction throughout China, not only through the Catholic Church, but also through Christianity.
I mean, Steve, this is blockbuster.
American Catholics...
Catholics around the world should know if this man has been to China several times, is sympathetic to Chinese rule, and the fact that this deal is absolutely the worst possible deal, there is no justification for it.
It not only must be revealed immediately.
Day one, week one of this pontificate, but also immediately repealed.
And it's not just Catholics that are demanding this.
It's Christians from around the world who have been persecuted because of the China deal with the Vatican.
And so, I mean, to me, these two on, you know, the day after he's installed, we find out he's been to China, quote unquote, several times, and that he is going to continue to follow in the path of Pope Francis in this.
Disastrous China deal.
This is blockbuster.
To me, this is such an outrage.
And, you know, Steve, I feel like we didn't know about Joe Biden's health.
Because that was kept under wrap.
Now for 12 years, we find out that Jorge Bergoglio was hated and despised and was on psychotropic drugs.
Nobody told us until he passes away.
It's this cover-up by the deep state and deep church.
We should have known that Prevost had an alliance with China.
And is this why he has two passports, one from Peru and one from the United States?
To me, this is outrageous.
This should have come out in the general congregation.
His good friend, Cardinal Cupich, if he was aware of this, this should have been disclosed to Catholics around the world.
So to me, I guess we've got to continue to roll up our sleeves.
By the way, fortunately...
Brian's article has hit the stands in Italian in Rome by a Vaticanista reporter.
So I'm hoping that his powerful article is seen immediately by the Pope and that this gets addressed.
I guess it's not over till it's over, but this is shocking news, very troubling news.
This is Francis 2.0, which, Steve, you have said from the very beginning that this pontificate was going to be no different than Francis.
And on another point, because this is important for Americans.
The language of human dignity about immigration is coming out of this pontificate.
That's code language for open borders.
And so we have to be very discerning when we listen to the language of this new pontificate.
steve bannon
Ben Hornwell, in the due diligence, all the coverage afterwards, the Chinese never got brought up until the Chinese mention it.
I'm sure they wish they hadn't now.
Is Red Bob, how could they not mention the fact that he's been to China several times?
The Augustinian Order, I think, only has 2,300 or 3,000 priests worldwide, monks worldwide, none of them in mainland China, I don't believe.
Why is he, is this, I call him the Manchurian candidate.
Is he actually the Manchurian candidate, sir?
ben harnwell
Well, only time will tell, Steve.
But I want to, if I may, come back and answer for myself the question that you put to Brian Kennedy earlier about the three things to look for.
Brian mentioned releasing the text of this secret Vatican CCP deal, the text of which is so toxic and neither side has ever released it.
That's definitely one of the three things to look at.
I'd also want to throw in, if I may, The liberalisation of the traditional Latin mass, known colloquially as the TLM, that was unjustly, illegitimately, disgracefully and unacceptably suppressed by Bergoglio, Pope Francis.
The liberalisation, the re-release of that mass, that liturgy, the ancient liturgy that goes back, the canon of that mass that goes back, I think, to the third century, that will very...
Seriously indicate, I think, to traditionists whether they can trust this man or not.
The time frame, you know, I put between six and 12 months, but the ball can certainly start rolling on.
And Leo himself and the Vatican himself can start at least talking about that publicly.
The liberalisation of the traditional Latin mass.
The other thing, Steve, that Pope Leo might want to consider if he wants to draw a line...
Between himself and his unlamented predecessor is that he could actually answer the dubia that the Cardinals put to Francis.
I think 10 questions in all, asking Francis to resolve areas of confusion in his own teaching.
Francis wasn't able to respond with simple yes or no answers because he was clearly trying to change the church's teaching.
Couldn't say so publicly because that would make him a heretic and that would give the cardinals the justification to remove him.
So he fudged it.
I know there's an ad break coming up, Steve, but this is absolutely really, really important.
Leo must respond to these cardinals' dubia and answer them in a way consistent with Catholic tradition.
steve bannon
Well, you should do it straightforward like in American.
Just write it in the American language.
Hang on.
I got Kennedy, you're in Harnwell about the church.
Dave Walsh is going to come in and talk to us about, hey, the Chinese Communist Party, about your electrical equipment, your solar paneling, all of it.
Not so fast.
They've got the infrastructure in the United States, particularly the energy infrastructure, wired.
In case the balloon goes up and they anticipate the balloon's going to go up.
Short commercial break.
Time of turbulence.
You check the 10-year bond, the 30-year bond.
Credit markets are bouncing all around.
We just got downgraded on Friday.
unidentified
As we told you, we eventually would.
steve bannon
Scott Besson says it's backward-looking.
Okay, I agree with that.
It's definitely backward-looking, but it's forward in its implications because government debt's going to get more expensive.
You know who understands this?
The BRICS nations.
And BRICS nations have many enemies of the United States of America, led by the Chinese Communist Party.
They're going to Rio.
This is the road to Rio.
July 6th, they'll be there.
The Rio reset.
Go to birchgold.com slash war room or slash bannon, actually.
Bannon, that would be me.
Get the end of the dollar empire.
The seventh free installment.
You will be the smartest person at the barbecue.
But that's not what it's about.
It's about that you understand capital markets.
Short commercial break.
Back in a moment.
unidentified
War Room.
Here's your host, Stephen K. Vance.
Okay, we're going to go around the horn and get it all.
steve bannon
Ben, let me start with you.
I know you've got some cleanup to do.
And then I'm going to go to Brian and then Liz.
What do you got for me?
ben harnwell
Thanks, Steve.
Look, I just want to...
In the first block, there's a discussion that the Pope being the head of the...
He was accused of being the head of the church and then suggested that he might have a globalist perspective.
Firstly, in terms of, you know, I'd just say this not to scandalise our evangelical brethren.
In Catholic theology, the church is the mystical body of Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ himself is the head of the church.
The pope is simply his representative, if you will.
Given a certain charism, which is to purify and to keep pure the teaching of the church from the apostles down to the present day.
Now, you can either accept that or don't accept that.
That's what the Catholic Church has always taught.
But the Pope isn't the head of the church.
The Queen of England, the King of England, George III, is the head of the Church of England.
But the Pope is not the head of the Catholic Church.
That is...
Our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
Second thing I want to mention in terms of the remit of the Pope, I would sooner suggest that his remit is universal rather than globalist, and that that word universal is important, especially in Catholic theology.
The word Catholic from the Greek comes from kata.
Holos, according to the whole, that is the nature of Catholicism.
It is according to the whole.
The whole of the Church's teaching is contained within it.
And the word Catholic is often also taken as universal.
And that is the Pope's mission.
That is the Pope's reach.
He has universal jurisdiction across the Church.
It doesn't mean that the Pope is a globalist, or should not mean.
There's no indication in Catholic theology that just because the Catholic Church covers the whole of the world that the Catholic Church supports one world global government, which is obviously a design of the Antichrist, of Satan.
I'm just saying that just because we're going into the deep grass somewhat on some of these things, and I want to do as much as I can to keep my evangelical brethren I'm bored on this.
steve bannon
Brian, should it be a priority, his top priority, and should we be all over this that he rescinds or walks away from the treaty with the secret treaty with the Chinese Communist Party?
brian t kennedy
Yes, I agree with both Ben and Liz.
That has to be his number one priority.
We don't know whether Leo will be in the tradition of Francis or will strike his own path.
We hope by the grace of God he strikes a new path here.
But we will judge him by his actions.
And the first action he needs to take is to repeal this secret deal, expose it to the world, and then come up with a better path here.
Thank you, Steve, for having me on today.
My article was on TheBlaze.com and you might find me at PresentDangerChina.org and Brian T. Kennedy 1 on X. And Brian T. Kennedy on camera.
steve bannon
Now that we've got it, Liz tells us it's an Italian.
It's going to explode.
Brian, thank you so much for joining us.
Appreciate you.
brian t kennedy
Thanks, Steve.
steve bannon
Liz, your closing thoughts, ma 'am?
liz yore
Yes, my closing thoughts are, I would like to know when this Manchurian candidate went to China, where did he stay?
Who did he meet with?
How many times he was there.
Thus far, as I watch his language very closely, it is the same as Bergoglio.
He has yet to mention the word Catholic in his statements.
And although he's a gentler, Bergoglio, one way to distinguish himself from Bergoglio immediately is to expose.
Repeal the China deal and expose all of its details.
So I'm waiting to see.
Many of us have very little patience because of the damage that's been done because of this deal in China.
So we'll see.
But it's got to be done immediately, forthwith, as we say, and begin to heal the trauma that is happening to all the churches in China.
And this is a great way to stand up to the CCP.
If not, then I'm beginning to think he may be the Manchurian candidate.
steve bannon
Liz, where do people go to follow you, ma 'am?
liz yore
I'm all over on social media under Elizabeth Yor, and my website is yourchildren.com.
steve bannon
Thank you, ma 'am.
Explosive.
Ben, how big a deal?
It sounded like it was inadvertent that the Chinese let this out.
How did we not know he had been to China multiple times?
He certainly didn't go there for business of the Augustinian order.
So why was this withheld for people as part of the discussion in the run-up?
About Prevost, sir.
ben harnwell
Because it would have been a factor in their deliberations.
That's why it was withheld.
Steve, what do we always say about the mainstream media?
The job of the mainstream media is to keep you misinformed about what you do know and uninformed about what you don't know.
And that is true right across for our globalist sociopathic overlords, including organizations of elite control.
That is to say, including.
The Catholic media, the Vatican Secretariat of State, they don't want people to know this because then they might make I can only come back, Steve, to a point that the war room has been making repeatedly over the last three weeks.
Even to discuss this without mentioning this, I think, would be an error on our part.
It is wholly illegitimate in the year 2025 that a group of, that a franchise, a limited franchise of effectively 133 people, can decide they're the leader of the Catholic Church.
That's unacceptable.
You know, it might have worked, and there's no reason in Catholic theology why that's the case, why cardinals exclusively have the role to pick the cardinal.
It might have worked in the medieval ages when Catholics were basically just hoeing a row in a bog somewhere, illiterate, and the only education...
That took place was in the universities founded by the church for the education of clergy.
But we're not in the medieval dark ages anymore.
You often have people who are better educated, more aware of things, sitting on the pew than the guy in the pulpit giving the homily.
It's absolutely unacceptable.
And this is one of the great things, to come back to Brian Kennedy's great article in The Blaze, which I'll push out.
How is it possible that CCP generals have the right to pick Catholic bishops but you, the Catholic laity...
Steve, you and I mentioned, we've been mentioning this for 10 years.
No one has engaged with this point.
And I think Brian Kennedy's article hopefully will also bring a bit of attention onto that point.
So to come back to this argument, it is unacceptable.
The one thing that distinguishes the American philosophy, the American idea, as far as I'm concerned, Steve, and you push this constantly, is this concept of agency.
People are...
The protagonists in their own destiny, right?
The European concept is we're the masters, you're the serfs.
And people here in Europe buy into that, but it's not an American idea.
And there's no reason why the American church should be shoehorned into going along with this.
Look how strong the Protestant movement is, the Protestant churches are in the United States, and look how bad the institutional monolithic...
Monopoly of the Catholic Churches in comparison.
The Protestants have understood something, they have intuited something about what works with the evangelisation.
Evangelisation and spreading the gospel.
And the Catholic Church is behind the ball on this game.
And it needs to get ahead of the ball.
We should be learning from the Protestants on this point alone, right?
If you want a healthy, vibrant church community, you need to involve the laity.
Because all the bishops and the cardinals have done over the last 80 years is let the faithful down.
steve bannon
Ben, where do they go on your social media?
You're going to have all these articles up which are voluminous, and it will begin a great conversation we need to have and need to push to use our agency.
ben harnwell
Steve, I'm on Getter, and I do have, as Steve was mentioning, a few articles at the top of my feed.
I strongly recommend The Posse go and look at them.
Some of the thoughts I've been explaining on the show are there contained in more detail in various interviews.
Getter, my social media platform of choice, at...
Hanwell, which is my surname.
Thanks, Steve.
God bless.
steve bannon
Thank you very much.
I don't have time for the call open for Dave Walsh.
Let me go right to Dave Walsh to talk about the Chinese Communist Party.
Talk to me about this with this Reuters story.
What's Reuters reporting?
Sir, you know, we had a year ago the head of the FBI at the time said the number one threat the United States, he thought, besides domestic extremism, was devices the Chinese Communist Party had put in infrastructure.
That they were selling into the United States, particularly energy infrastructure, Dave Walsh.
dave walsh
Well, a Reuters report, not the Gateway Pundit, a defender of the elitist energy theocracy, Reuters, has come out with a story last week that both in the U.K. and the U.S., officials have now found in inverters, that's the apparatus associated with a solar farm and other equipment, mainly solar farms that convert and wind farms, D.C. to usable, efficient A.C. current.
So that current can be channeled into the electrical system.
Those devices, in some cases, have backdoors programmed into them, allowing control and /or shutoff from remote sites such as China, where they're all made.
Where they are all made.
Inverters, battery storage.
As well as thin-film PV, 87% of all that is made in China.
It appears now that a sampling of the inverters tested for these backdoor devices have proven that they're included, aka the ability to control a solar farm through its inverters from China, which becomes a major, major additional risk of the country driving itself towards government-incented.
By all governments in the last 12 years here, incenting the procurement of solar panels, inverters, battery storage, wind farms from abroad that are destroying the electrical system in the U.S. in terms of reliability and in terms of cost.
As cost escalation in electrical space continues to run rampant to this moment, electricity is 38% of U.S. energy supply all in.
It's the single largest component of energy supply.
Costs are up year on year about 6%.
Across the MISO and PGM, costs are up 12% to 16%.
We have got to get our arms around the importation of these devices from China and stop this.
steve bannon
I want to rub salt in the wound.
The solar, which have the inverters, which appears to me that ultimately they can have like a kill switch and take it all down.
Right.
Or at least no real time and data.
Or they have a kill switch because of comms.
dave walsh
We're the U.S. We're underwriting it with incentives that are as high as 54%.
The ITC and the PTC now included under the rubric of the Big Beautiful Bill, we're endorsing the furtherance of this, include about 53% incentives when you add in the effect of the five-year.
Vastly accelerated maker's depreciation schedule for taxes to the Biden extended PTC and ITC, which we are now extending in the current One Beautiful Bill, are incenting the importation of these devices.
Just a few weeks ago, we took back for a six-month timeout or a long-term timeout the tariffs applied to these devices, to solar panels and batteries.
Based on some premise that this is some kind of advanced technology and we should be not tariffing this kind of technology being imported here from China that is taking over the U.S. electrification system.
So this becomes, you know, it's a major, major issue that should be wrestled in the budget presently in the present discussions for at least...
At least terminate the importation of this stuff until it can all be qualified on a cost basis for citizens, that the cost is lower.
The cost is not lower.
It's about four times higher.
But then the risk of the intermittence and then the problem with this is huge.
The problem with this is huge.
steve bannon
Huge.
dave walsh
We're missing one of the five key issues associated with this administration's takeover of power.
Energy is a big goddamn deal.
It's a big deal.
It's in the top five things.
And we're kicking the can down the road.
And, you know, it is what it is, but we're kicking the can down the road on this.
steve bannon
Dave, where can people go on your social media to get all the reports and analysis you put up?
dave walsh
Finally, on Dave Walsh Energy at Getter, Truth Social, and the other media.
steve bannon
I didn't get a chance to catch up with you.
You went to the CRA conference for two days.
How was it?
dave walsh
Well, it was good.
I mean, a huge amount of progress being made on a lot of fronts for the administration.
This one, I did speak to Roy extensively about great feedback from him in complete agreement on the Texas angle.
Texas, the next 92% of devices installed the next five years, according to the ERCOT plan, will be solar and battery storage for the good people in Texas.
Higher cost, more unreliable power.
He's all over fighting this.
The budget team, I think they've for now thrown the towel in that this is maybe a fight not worth fighting, but the trouble with that becomes, the trouble becomes the ability then to go back and invoke executive privilege on defunding this later becomes an enormous contradiction in supporting it one day and then coming back the next and fighting it, along with the good EPA efforts on abolishing the endangerment finding on CO2.
We may get that done, but we found that we've supported a big, beautiful bill that involves incenting this stuff forever because Elon Musk maybe needs to sell more batteries.
This all won't work in logic space with dismantling this.
So I think we've got to stand very tall.
That part of the meeting is a little bit disappointing to me, the fact that only Chip Roy was standing up really, really aggressively attacking this issue because he's very familiar with it in Texas in his home state, being a very costly, intermittent.
Challenge for industrial development and ratepayers in Texas.
steve bannon
We've got to sort out Texas, got to sort out Florida and South Carolina.
Dave Walsh, thank you so much.
dave walsh
Thank you, Steve.
steve bannon
Chinese Communist Party, they should be trusted with a secret deal from the Vatican.
Look what they're doing to our energy infrastructure.
It's a kill switch right in there.
And they got caught.
Tej Gill, we missed you this morning.
I am so blown away by going to the website and just reading some of the reviews.
Talk to me about the champagne and coffee and how did you create it into the champagne and coffee?
What was it?
It's the whole process.
The system is the solution.
You got the beans, you get the best beans, you roast it a certain way.
Walk me through the whole process.
unidentified
Hey, what's going on?
Is he muted on his head?
tej gill
Sorry about that.
It starts with premium beans.
That's the whole thing.
So a lot of coffee companies, they use cheaper beans.
You can get some of these cheap beans at a dollar a pound.
But that ruins the whole thing from scratch, from the start.
So we use premium beans.
They're fresh beans.
And then we roast them on a perforated drum.
And that's how we get that very smooth taste.
So I wanted a coffee that...
I didn't have to use milk and sugar.
I wanted it to be smooth.
I wanted low acid content, and I did not want it to be bitter.
So on our website, you see never bitter, never acidic.
And that was the whole plan from the get-go.
We started off with the breakfast blend because the breakfast blends are super smooth.
So my wife and I created the breakfast blend, and we got that one really smooth.
And then the rest of the story, you know, we came to you and asked you about helping us out, advertising everything else with the brand.
You wanted the dark roast, and then we created a dark roast.
And the dark roast, it's the same thing.
It's the Mariner's blend.
It's a dark coffee, so the beans are roasted longer, but we stop before they're burnt.
And that's why there's low acid, and it's not bitter.
And the reason...
I never knew that you could have a coffee like this.
I was in Kuwait during Ramadan, and I drank coffee there, and it was the best coffee I'd ever had.
And before that, you know, I'm used to drinking Navy coffee or...
You know, these big coffee brands, you go to a store and buy it.
They're always acidic.
They have almost like a metallic taste to them because they burn them so bad.
Then you've got to put milk, sugar, you know, all the other foo-foo stuff in there.
It basically turns your coffee into a milkshake.
So that's how we did it.
And then we roasted on a perforated drum.
And by doing that, we don't burn the beans at all because it lets some of the heat escape out the edges of the drum so it doesn't get trapped in there and burn the tips of the bean.
And that's called tipping.
And then, same thing, you get that burnt taste, and you have to have milk or sugar to basically choke down the coffee.
Our coffee is smooth.
You named it the champagne and coffee, Steve, and you can drink it black.
You can drink all of our blends black, even the espresso.
The espresso, espressos are the worst for bitterness, and we have a very smooth espresso.
And if you want to add milk and sugar in there, the espresso is amazing, but I drink it black.
I like low-acid content, and I do not like bitter coffee.
People have responded, we're up right around 10,000 five-star reviews on the site.
People love this coffee.
It's no gimmicks.
We're not marketing some garbage product.
