		Mortgage rates actually just went down.
		Prescription drug prices just saw their largest monthly decline ever recorded.

		Prescription drug prices just took the biggest plunge.
		Ever since they've recorded the prices which have basically gone up except for my four years, they did pretty well.
		But we got to know that system.
		The system is a bad system.
		But they just took the biggest dive ever in the history of prescription drug prices.

		Core inflation has reached the lowest rate in four years.
		And last month, we had the largest drop in consumer prices since the pandemic.
		This is all done in 100 days.

		But when you watch the fake news, you see fake polls.
		Again.
		They poll more Democrats than Republicans.
		Democrats aren't going to say, I'm going to vote for Trump.
		And we still got 45, 44 percent.

		In three months, we have created 350,000 jobs.

		He came up and spoke.
		He's been on the stage with Donald Trump a number of times and pointed out that we have to get out, do Republicans and conservatives in 2026 in the midterms.
		I think that was a big theme here.
		But it was a big thank you note.
		It was a festive event.
		A very festive party atmosphere for Donald Trump.
		They love him here.
		And it was a heck of a visit.

		Are there going to be some challenges?

		But he talked about some things that I thought were interesting.

		Well, the price of eggs aren't down.

		He's opened up exploration for oil and gas in millions of acres now that were previously cut off.
		He's focusing on American resources and energy.

		The people here in Macomb County appreciate what he's doing, and they're very proud of what he's done so far.

		He wants Michigan to rebuild.
		He believes in what Michigan is.
		And look, he goes back.
		He knows the people that went off to World War II as I did.
		It was interesting hearing people talk about the people that served in those auto factories.
		My grandparents worked in auto factories in Monroe and downriver in Detroit.
		I mean, that means a lot to people here in Michigan.
		So when you talk about rebuilding the auto industry and putting us on even footing, that resonates with people here because it's family history is what it is here, Steve.
		And so when you hear him talk about those things...
		It's generational because people know that their grandfather fought in World War II or maybe went off to Korea or Vietnam and Michigan was instrumental in making sure they had the planes and the tanks and the things that they needed to go off to war.
		And so it's a generational thing.
		And again, it's a pride thing.
		And I think that's what I feel here tonight.
		Pride in America.
		Pride in Michigan.
		It brings that pride forward.
		And maybe that's a big part of what America First is, Steve.
		It's about pride and having some swagger in your step again.
		And saying, you know what?
		You're damn right.
		We're America.
		And we're okay saying that.
		We're not ashamed of it.
		It's not the apology tour or leave from behind garbage of Barack Obama.
		It's stand up straight.

		Jay is just fortunate enough that I think Selfridge Air Force Base is in your district, if I'm not right there.
		It's right on the south line.
		Yep, that's right.
		It's right on the line.
		So, I asked you.
		What instills more pride in an American than hearing F-15s go over?
		I'll tell you what, F-15 fighter jets at Selfridge Air National Guard Base is about as patriotic a thing as you're going to see.
		And the fact that President Trump came here on his 100th day...
		He made the announcement that those fighter jets were coming to Selfridge.
		What a big win for Southeast Michigan, there's no doubt.
		He even handed it to Gretchen.
		He said, Governor Whitmer, you want to say a few words?
		And this time she didn't hide, she did it.
		That's true, that's true.
		So I think you're seeing a little movement there out of Gretchen Whitmer and maybe the right direction, I don't know.
		But I'm going to tell you, to be able to be here and hear President Trump talk about his 100 days, obviously knowing that we've got those fighter jets here.
		What an unbelievable accomplishment in 100 days relative to any other president you've ever seen.
		Any other president you've ever seen.
		So here's the thing.
		You look at what he's done here.
		Obviously, the auto industry.
		It's 20% of the GDP of Michigan.
		$1.05 comes to the auto industry.
		You know that living in this area.
		You were a guy who had a good life.
		You had a nice business.
		You decided to get into politics.
		You probably wondered about that a couple times, but you didn't wonder about it tonight.
		I mean, the enthusiasm in this room.
		I'll tell you what.
		The strategy that's being put forth by Donald Trump is going to make not only Michigan, but the United States one of the most productive nations already in the world, but it's going to make us the envy of the world again, which arguably I would say over the last few years we have not been that.
		Jobs are coming back here.
		Businesses are coming back here.
		As he spoke to large companies, Apple, Amazon, coming back here investing hundreds of billions of dollars.
		Every day you read about it.
		Every single day.
		And by the way, if you wonder why that blue-collar job has disappeared, it's because all of those manufacturing facilities have left our nation.
		They're coming back here.
		Steve Bannon was wondering, and we were talking about this earlier.
		This whole idea of buyer's remorse.
		You're out among the people all the time.
		This idea that there's all these Trump voters that are like, I can't believe I voted for Donald Trump.
		Have you met such a thing?
		I haven't heard that a single time.
		The message that I hear from most people that I talk to about that topic is, it's about time.
		It's about time we've stood up for ourselves.
		It's about time that we've made an even and equal playing field in the world market.
		And Donald Trump, God bless him.
		He's not afraid to say it.
		And he does it.
		He campaigned on it.
		He committed to it.
		And now he's doing it.
		So, yeah, there's people that are shocked that they didn't vote for him anyway.
		You know what's crazy is I look at him talking and running down the list of his accomplishments.
		80-20 issues.
		Deporting illegal aliens.
		It's an 80-20 issue.
		Two genders.
		That might be a 90-10 issue.
		No men in women's sports.
	Again, it's a massive favor to Donald Trump in the culture wars.
	I just don't understand how the Democrats, whether they're in Lansing, because, look, you still have Lansing and Michigan trying to stand up and say, well, we're not going to necessarily throw men out of women's sports.
	They're one of the states still dragging their heels on that.
	How can that even be possible today?
	Yeah, I've got to say this.
	In two years, the people of Michigan are going to speak again.
	And the Democrats have doubled down on stupidity.
	And they got it handed to them by Donald Trump.
	And what do they do instead of going, oh, this is the will of the American people?
	They double down and continue to come up with these crazy antics.
	And you know what?
	I wish them luck.
	Because the rank-and-file common-sense American...
	It's not going to support that.
	You feel good about it.
	Last question.
	Are you optimistic?
	I am optimistic.
	You know, I'm going to tell you, let me just inject one thing.
	Here's why I'm optimistic.
	I have four kids in my household between the age of 19 and 26. That generation, contrary to popular belief, thinks that the crazy left...
	It's out of control.
	They're the ones that moved in the direction of Donald Trump because common sense is prevailing.
	And so that's the hope for our country, is that generation that's coming up.
	And the common sense actually resides there that's lacking, arguably, in the generation ahead of them.
	Agreed.

		I think that's true of Trump voters all over this country.
		I don't think they've lost their momentum.
		I don't think they've lost their enthusiasm.
		I think they'd vote for him again twice if they were Democrats and allowed to do so.
		They would vote for him again as often as possible.
		That's a fact.
		He believes in this country.
		He believes in Michigan.
		But I'm going to go back to what John Solomon said before he walked out there.
		The next 100 days are critical to what happens to this president and his legacy.
		We've got to get these Republicans in Congress to get off their asses, frankly.
		They've got to deliver.
		Johnson's got to wrangle him however he's got to wrangle him.
		He's got to get it done because if not, everything that's been done, all the executive orders, which is what, 137?
		Last time I looked, something like that.
		All that work will be for naught because they'll just flush it down the toilet.
		And you're right, the lights have come on.
		We've got to run.
		But I believe in what I saw here.
		The enthusiasm is strong.
		I need the House and the Senate to do with the American people.
		Sent Donald Trump to do, and that's finish the job and get these things into law.

		And I'm putting Lincoln and General Washington in a shorter period of time, in 100 days.
		And the Democrats have doubled down.
		So these two sides, you see where we are?
		You see what's got to happen.
		Solomon, Gruber, everybody absolutely correct.
		The next 100 days, probably even more important than the first 100.
		Why?
		Because now you start putting in the foundational elements that you need.
		Remember, in these next 100 days, it starts off on May 8th, probably with some sort of ceasefire, a ceasefire he's working with to stop the Third World War.
		In Ukraine, working on the Russian rapprochement.
		You've got the deportations.
		I tell you, we're converging into a constitutional crisis.
		All these crises are coming in together.
		We're going to be at the Supreme Court in May or June arguing about this, about them stepping in between, the federal judges stepping in between President Trump and his oath as commander-in-chief.
		And most importantly, all of it's going to come down to the financing, the tax cuts, all of it, how we're going to finance this thing going forward and how we're going to get control of government spending.
