The Supreme Court gave the Trump administration a victory, at least for now, over deportation, throwing out a district judge's ruling blocking the Trump administration's use of the Alien Enemies Act to deport accused gang members.
U.S. District Judge James Boasberg, who issued the ruling, was supposed to hold another hearing on it today.
unidentified
But that is now cancelled.
Joining us now, MSNBC legal correspondent Lisa Rubin.
So, the place is wrong.
They've got to refile this in Texas.
What does that mean?
Well, not only do they have to refile it in Texas, but one of the things, Katie, that's unclear is whether or not this can proceed as a class action.
As originally filed, there were five plaintiffs.
They then asked Judge Boasberg to certify a class, meaning a group of people similarly situated, but not necessarily people that you could individually name or who had been individually represented.
Now, not only do they have to file in their place of confinement, which for some of these people, If it is filed in Texas, is there any chance that it ends up going to Judge Kaczmarek?
I'd have to think about that.
There is, I guess, some possibility.
I believe that Judge Kaczmarek sits in the Southern District of Texas.
As I'm sitting here, I'd have to look that up.
But I think, overall, the tenor of your question, if I understand it, is are there likely to be judges in Texas who will be...
Favorable to the Trump administration.
I would say the chances that they will encounter judges who are sympathetic to their point of view is much higher in Texas than it is in other places of the country, which is why the ACLU's decision to file here in New York while they have two plaintiffs here is somewhat of a genius move.
Because, again, the court's ruling last night isn't so much about Texas.
It's about you have to file in the place of confinement.
If there are two people here at the time the habeas petition was filed, they are here.
The Southern District of New York is the right location for that lawsuit.
The Trump administration can now claim another legal win from the Supreme Court, but today's ruling is not the final say on what will happen to 16,000 probationary workers fired from the federal workforce.
brianna keilar
The nation's highest court backed the government's position and overturned a lower court ruling that ordered the employees be temporarily reinstated.
CNN's Paula Reid is here now with us to explain.
All right, Paula, break this ruling down for us.
unidentified
Rihanna, this is just the latest in a string of wins for the Trump administration from the Supreme Court.
Here, the question was whether thousands of federal workers who were on probationary status, so that meant they had recently gotten their job, they didn't have all the full protections that other federal workers have, if they should remain on the payroll while the larger circumstances of their firing are litigated.
Now, a lower court ruling said that they should be reinstated, put back on the payroll.
but here the Supreme Court disagreed.
So this is...
The Supreme Court held that the unions that filed this specific lawsuit did not have what is called standing or the right to bring this particular lawsuit.
Now, while this is technical, this is still a win for the administration, but it's unclear what it means for all the probationary workers who have lost their jobs because we've seen at least one other judge in Maryland rule that some other workers who are in probationary status needed to be reinstated.
stated they were not covered by the specific lawsuit but I will say that the Supreme Court has handed the administration several wins in recent days both related to their enforcement of immigration laws even using sort of expansive executive power and also their efforts to cull the federal government but this will continue to go on this litigation because Thank you.
If any of these folks are kicked off the payroll, they will likely have to go and find other jobs, which really helps the administration with their ultimate goal, which is to cull the federal government.

Tuesday, 8 April, Year of Alert 2025.
Let's go to Mike Davis.
Mike's at the White House, the viceroy.
So, Mike, walk us through, are these two huge victories for us, sir?
mike davis
We're getting major victories for the president and the executive branch of the Supreme Court.
The Supreme Court is correctly slapping down these activist judges who are trying to sabotage the president's core article to executive power.
They're putting these judges...
Back to their place, like Judge Jeb Boasberg in D.C., who thinks he is going to expose and sabotage an ongoing military operation to get out of America the most dangerous terrorist in the Western Hemisphere, Trende Aragua, along with the MS-13 gangbangers.
And he just got pretty humiliated in this latest Supreme Court ruling.
You also have the Supreme Court ruling correctly.
That the president can fire probationary executive branch employees, and frankly, you're going to see the Supreme Court hold that the president can fire any executive branch employee.
The Democrats for years have called this the unitary executive theory.
I call it Article 2 of the Constitution.
steve bannon
I want to go to this.
Now, Boasberg, because it makes him look kind of amateurish, the ACLU is gaming the system.
They're clearly judge shopping, right?
They want to go to the friendliest courts.
The Supreme Court said today, I mean, what did they really say about Trump as, because this is the one that goes to him as commander in chief.
They said you have to file in the jurisdiction.
So can the ACLU now go back and file in Texas as MSNBC was talking about?
They did rule out the possibility of this bogus thing of they're trying to make it a class so that everybody that was on the plane or everybody that went to that prison can join in this.
But did they actually back Trump as commander in chief or just say you went judge shopping and we're not going to allow that, sir?
mike davis
you're The President, as the Commander-in-Chief, has a constitutional duty to repel an invasion of our country.
And the court made clear here...
That a D.C. activist judge, Jeb Boasberg, is not the proper judge, it's not the proper court to decide these matters.
If you are one of these terrorists sent to El Salvador, you can file a habeas petition in the southern district of Texas from where those planes took off.
You don't get to go pick a random Democrat activist judge in D.C. who's going to do these legal gymnastics and try to undo the president's power as commander-in-chief.
steve bannon
So what do you think happens with this one?
Do you think ACLU will try to file again and will go through this again?
Or do you think they understand that the Supreme Court's kind of ruled and they don't want to deal with this nonsense?
mike davis
I would say to them, good luck.
I mean, you're going to have minimal due process.
That's required for these terrorists.
You just have to confirm that, yeah, they're here illegally, and yeah, they're part of Trendy Aragua, and yeah, Trendy Aragua is tied to Venezuela.
The president made that finding.
That's not reviewable.
The only issue is whether they're part of Trendy Aragua.
And when you have Trendy Aragua tattoos across your chest, that's a pretty good sign that you're part of Trendy Aragua.
steve bannon
Now, how does this tie to the one the other night where we had till midnight, or are they going to be held in contempt that the guy had to be turned back over?
Does that flow into this decision today from the Supreme Court about these terrorist organizations?
mike davis
Yeah, the Supreme Court stayed that decision, and so those facts were better for the plaintiffs than the Trend de Aragua facts, so it was pretty obvious where the Supreme Court was going to go on Trend de Aragua.
Here's the bottom line.
The American people elected President Trump to seal our border and get these dangerous...
Illegal immigrants, including foreign terrorists, the hell out of our country.
And the president is doing what he promised American voters he's going to do, and these activist judges are not going to stop him.
steve bannon
Mike, what about the second aspect of the unitary executive theory?
The first is he's chief executive.
He can impound money.
He can let people go.
Congress has been fighting this.
They've gone to the courts on all of this.
What do the courts really tell us today, the Supreme Court, about his powers under Article II to basically be chief executive?
mike davis
Look, these cases should be nine to nothing.
It's very clear that the president is exercising core Article 2 executive power.
He's not stealing legislative power from Congress under Article 1. He's not stealing the Supreme Court's judicial power under Article 3. The president has a constitutional duty to take care that our laws are faithfully executed.
That means that he's going to enforce our immigration laws.
He's going to repel an invasion of foreign terrorists like Trendy Aragua and MS-13 gangbangers.
He's going to go after waste, fraud, and abuse.
He's doing exactly what he promised Americans he would do, and he's doing it very effectively.
steve bannon
Mike, hang on for one second.
I want to go to, I got another clip.
There was another ruling today by a federal quarterback, constitutionality of actions President Trump has taken.
Let's go and play that, and I'll come bring you back in.
Breaking news for you now.
jake tapper
A ruling in that lawsuit by the Associated Press against the Trump administration over the ban on access to certain parts of the White House.
unidentified
CNN's Brian Stelter, our media reporters here.
Brian, this judge, we should note, is a Trump appointee.
steve bannon
What did he decide?
brian stelter
That's right.
He says the White House ban against the AP is unconstitutional because it's a form of viewpoint discrimination.
However, this judge did not immediately restore the AP's access.
Associated Press reporters will not be allowed back in tomorrow necessarily.
He delayed his order for one week, expecting an appeal from the White House as this case goes on.
But the AP had been asking for immediate relief because this blockade was put into effect back in February by the Trump White House.
This case stems from Trump telling the government The Trump White House also took over the press pool and now chooses...
office, also big press conferences and banned the AP from Air Force One.
Basically, the AP is no longer a part of the press pool.
The Trump White House also took over the press pool and now chooses who's allowed in on any So the AP filed suit in federal court, and this judge, Trevor McFadden, he has now ruled in the past few minutes, saying he's issuing a narrow ruling here, saying that the government offers no other plausible explanation for its treatment of the AP, the Constitution forbids viewpoint discrimination, even in a non-public forum like the Oval Office.
He's saying you don't have to let everybody in, but if you're going to let some journalists in, you can't discriminate against the AP just because of their point of view.
In this case, the point of view is that the Gulf of Mexico is the name known in other countries.
And of course, that is true.
This has been a quandary for news outlets that are fearing a slippery slope.
steve bannon
Mike, one thing I want to bring up in your response to this is that folks, the president's trying to do the trade deals.
He's trying to do the geopolitical realignment besides the economic realignment.
He's got so much on his plate.
I've never seen more lawsuits.
I think there are over 100 lawsuits now in federal courts.
I think there's seven alone on Voice of America, Carrie Lake tells me.
This is just another one.
What is your assessment of this ruling today?
And put it in the context of just a bombardment.
I don't even know how DOJ is fielding attorneys to go in and argue all these cases, sir.
mike davis
Look, I love Judge Trevor McFadden.
He's a good guy.
I don't know if this case will get upheld on appeal or not, but I like that President Trump is showing these institutions in Washington, whether they are the law firms, the media, the non-government.
Organizations, the NGOs, he's showing them there is a new sheriff in town.
He's not going to play by the D.C. Uniparty's rules, and there are going to be consequences.
He's learned his lessons from his first term, and he's not going to let the D.C. swamp chew him up and spit him out.
steve bannon
Mike, on President Trump's tariffs, and particularly relating to China, and really where he's throwing down hard, The Guardian's reporting that a massive lawsuits are coming funded by the Kochs and by Leonard Leo's new operation.
You started in kind of, you know, when you left the government, you did the Internet Accountability Project.
You understand the tech bros and people that support them and the libertarians hate what President Trump's trying to do on the trade war and on tariffs.
Where is this now?
How do we hold off an attack on the right?
Because my understanding is I did some checking this afternoon to say that the Kochs and Leonard Leo, etc.
are going to field a number of lawsuits to try to grind President Trump down as the left is also.
mike davis
The president has the power to do what he's doing.
He's exercising that power just like he promised American voters he would do before they gave him a sweeping electoral mandate.
The president is tired of America getting ripped off by these foreign countries.
We're paying for their defense.
We have trade deficits with these countries.
The president is trying to level the playing field.
If Europe wants us to pay for their NATO defense, They need to give us a better deal on trade.
steve bannon
Mike, last thing I want to talk to you about today.
People have been all over me about, because people have been calling the offices, directly contacting the offices, and they're saying a lot of the congressmen, particularly people who should be in the know, are saying, hey, I have no idea what's going on in the Judiciary Committee.
I have no idea what's going on with these judges.
Is it still your belief, as it is the war room, that we must begin hearings on Boesberg, we must begin hearings on Beryl Howell?
If that's the case, what's your recommendation and what do we do?
mike davis
There's no question that the House Judiciary Committee must open impeachment proceedings on Judge Jeb Bosberg, this radical Obama judge who exposed and sabotaged an ongoing military operation putting American and allied lives in grave danger, undermined the president's ability to conduct foreign affairs, and even ordered planes to turn around full of foreign terrorists.
That is unacceptable.
Judge Jeb Bosberg crossed the red line.
Even after the Supreme Court slapped him down, he thinks he's going to move forward with contempt proceedings against Trump officials.
Hell no.
This is the red line, so the war room posse needs to go to article3project.org, article3project.org, and take action.
And the action item is to light up both of your home state senators and your U.S. House representative and tell them to open impeachment proceedings on D.C. Obama judge Jeb Boasberg.
steve bannon
You would think that after this ruling today about President Trump as Commander-in-Chief, is it still your belief that he's going to proceed?
I know he's asked for papers for filings.
He's still going to proceed on the contempt charge about did they follow his order at 5.15 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time on Saturday afternoon?
You still think he's going to go forward with that?
mike davis
Yes, and that's why the war room posse needs to put maximum pressure through both of their home state senators and their U.S. House rep at article3project.org.
Take action now to put pressure on Congress to get Jeb Boasberg to back down.
Because if he holds Trump administration officials in contempt, he's going to take the judiciary over the cliff.
steve bannon
Mike Davis, your social media also.
We know where to go to Article 3. Where do they go to follow you?
mike davis
M-R-D-D-M-I-A.
M-R-D-D-M-I-A.
And thank you, Steve.
steve bannon
Thank you, Mike Davis, live from the White House.
I'm sure that either Lawrence or Donald or Rachel Maddow or Chris Hayes, one of them, will definitely respond to Mike Davis being on the White House.
They melted down last week when I was over at the Justice Department.
You heard Mike Davis right there.
So let's do a reset on what the war against Trump, the war against MAGA, the war against President Trump's policies.
If you just go back to the three lines, the number one is national security, which President Trump is redoing the entire geopolitical outlook of the United States and particularly the weight of gravity of where our national security is going to be away from the Eurasian landmass and towards a hemispheric defense.
Raheem Kassam is down with Pete Hegseth today in Panama.
Raheem's going to be with him for a couple of days.
We're going to look to get a report there.
Also, Pete came out with a trillion dollar budget.
This turns to the reconciliation of it all.
I can't make hide in your hair of this.
I've gotten a lot of negative feedback, although people are trying to still push it.
There is no vote, I don't think, scheduled tomorrow unless it wasn't until when I was getting ready for the show right beforehand.
But the reconciliation right now is kind of very ill-defined because it's hard to understand what's the debt ceiling level, when's it going to kick in.
We do know Semaphore's got an incredible story up about President Trump telling senators for the first time he's open to...
Actually, raising the rate, it's called a snapback on the upper bracket.
It would go, I think, from 37% to 39%, or there's some discussion of creating a whole new class at a million dollars and above, and I think that would be at 39 or 40%.
So there's a bunch of discussions there, but for the first time, they got confirmation that President Trump's actually been in this conversation, has been more than some of the people working at a treasury and other places, that the president's actually said that, and that's huge.
You've got this entire trade and the reorganization of the trading patterns, the trading laws, tariffs, but it's more than just tariffs.
It's also non-tariff barriers.
It is currency manipulation.
There's a tweet up right now.
I don't know if the staff's gotten it to...
Denver already, but this is somebody put a tweet, I think Zero Hedge put a tweet up earlier saying Scott Besson in his early, when he came out of school.
When he's working for Soros, he and Drunken Miller were actually working the trading desk.
That's when they took down the Bank of England.
That's in 1992.
And now he's taking down the People's Bank of China in the 2000s.
There it is right there.
There's something to that.
President Trump in the trade war, the center of gravity, I mean, the weekend FT, I've held this up a couple of times for the simple reason the FT kind of got it, I think, immediately, that the center of gravity of this is China.
And the reason is that the Wall Street people and the people that you see right now that are gnashing their teeth the most are the same hedge funds, the same private equity people that transferred, that really put the money up and supported the transfers of the factories as the trade rep said today, 5 million high-paying manufacturing jobs.
The people yammering about this the most, the people pulling their hair out the most, are the sociopathic overlords of easy money on Wall Street.
And President Trump has dug in here, in particular in China.
He told people at the beginning, when I put on this reciprocity, the formula, and you may not agree with the formula.
But the formula is about and includes these following things, and that's why people are coming over here.
South Korea, Japan, India.
Israel was there yesterday.
Israel, in my understanding, is BBS.
Hey, I need this held in a bench.
You can't do this.
And President Trump said, hey, it's, you know, the reciprocity, I think, is 15 or 17 percent, and it's coming.
Tomorrow, I think all, unless I hear otherwise on people that are already in negotiations, I think the reciprocal tariffs kick in at midnight on the 9th.
Definitely the 104% for China kicks in tonight.
They've reiterated that at the White House.
And the Chinese Communist Party is apoplectic.
Many of the best China watchers throughout the day have said, "Hey, this could destroy the Chinese Communist Party, could destroy the Chinese Communist Party's stranglehold on the Chinese people." Their economy, besides all the phony numbers they put out, their economy's really on a knife's edge.
And what it can't take is the United States finally standing up for itself and saying, "No, we can't let this go on." This year, we're seeing a new trade deficit, I think, every month.
December was outrageous, so was January.
And President Trump's saying the annual total trade deficit, I think it's $1.2 trillion.
They're mentioning the total trade deficit is $25 trillion, and that is not an accounting convention.
The people that argue the Wall Street point of view all the time say, well, money's fungible and that's an accounting convention.
No. People's salaries, their time, the monetization of their time and assets, the monetization of assets goes to China to pay for this.
China owns the factories and this is how they've been able to become the rise as an industrial power.
And the global elites did this.
China couldn't have done it on their own.
This was done with Wall Street.
This was done with the city of London.
This was done with the political class, both in the UK and the United States, and the media.
They were all very happy about this and kind of cheered it on.
And finally it got such that you had gutted the United States of America.
You had gutted the industrial base.
You had gutted the American working class families and the middle class with it.
This is why the country, they say the country's wealthy, where the wealth is very concentrated because of the financialization of what went on.
It's very, very, very concentrated.
And it's not spread out.
The wealth is in the hands of the few, not the many.
In fact, I keep arguing you have a capitalist system or a quasi-capitalist system with no capitalist.
50% of the population doesn't own anything, has no ownership of either real assets or no ownership of financial assets.
If they had to put their hands on $1,000 cash money, they can't do it.
You cannot continue to live in a system like this.
At 7 o'clock tonight, you're going to have Peter Schiff and Spencer Morrison.
Debate on President Trump's trade deals, and given the kind of preamble we did this morning, I think it's going to be a quite lively debate.
Remember, Spencer's kind of new on the scene.
He's been doing this for years, but his new book, Reshoring, has kind of taken off because it came out at the exact time as that's what President Trump's talking about, is reshoring these jobs back here.
So a couple things we're going to do in the next half hour.
I'm going to do a run-up and kind of a preamble.
We're going to be streaming it.
It's going to be up on Zero Hedge.
This will be quite the debate.
I'm glad it's happening.
I'm glad it's happening tonight, and I'm glad the folks were able to pull it together.
I really want to thank the folks at Zero Hedge.
It's one of my favorite sites.
I go to and check that every morning early.
Along with Breitbart, Gateway, Pundit, Citizens Free Press, Kane's working all night.
When I get up in the middle of the night, I'm always checking Kane.
He's always on watch.

The team at Birch Gold, one thing you should do is actually make contact.
We have all this free information we put out.
But if you talk to the Philip Patrick team, they've got all types of instrumentality about your 401Ks, your IRAs, all of that.
You should talk to them.
But most importantly, pick their brain.
Why is gold, what's the pattern here?
Why are the central banks buying this at record rates?
What is going on in the world that makes gold set your head?
Why has gold, ask the question, why has gold outperformed the S&P 500 over the last 25 years?
Remember the guy on Bloomberg that said that?
That's pretty shocking.

Johnny Kahn's going to take us out right now with American Heart.
Also, home title lock.
Mike Davis just said, we need you at the ramparts.
We need you calling.
We need you bugging your congressman, particularly Jim Jordan and the Judiciary Committee.
I know some folks called Andy Biggs today.
I tried to talk to Congressman Biggs, one of the best.
The Judiciary Committee's got to get on it.
We need to begin the impeachment process, particularly at Boasburg.
Mike Davis is not a guy to fool around.
The Vice President of the White House today working on a project.
People look to pick his brain because he's a very serious guy.

Take a look inside.
I think you've changed already.
You went and lost your pride.
But I'm American made.
I got American part.
I got American faith.
In America's heart.
You're welcome.
We just had Liberation Day, but many Americans are concerned that prices are going to go up and tariffs...
steve bannon
Okay, stop.
The only reason people have any concern at all is because the running dog for the capitalists on Wall Street in the Lords of Easy Money media...
Continues to go on with this false narrative that prices are going up, stock market's going to crash, everything's going to happen over and over and over again without looking at any evidence.
We put some of the strictest tariffs ever on China in 17 and 18, and prices didn't go up at all on Chinese product.
This is just a false, another false narrative put out by the media.
It's the same as all the lies they told about the pandemic, all the lies they told about the Ukraine, all the lies they told about the Seoul election.
I could go on and on and on.
The only people who worked up about it, did the market crash today?
No, it did not.
You have a sorting out of things.
I didn't say there was not going to be any turbulence.
Didn't have any crash.
Didn't have gold blow through the roof.
Nothing that was prophesied yesterday.
And look, Trump went hard.
And it shows you, I think, to the world, he's not a maximalist.
I was always for the reciprocity.
But the reciprocity has a maximalist side where you just go and match whatever your analysis shows.
He was also thinking there was tension around with President Trump to just do tiered at 20%.
He did do reciprocity, which I thought was very important to show the American people how people have abused the United States of America and American companies.
And if they steal 2028, Or for some reason we don't prevail, which will be them stealing it.
Trump, they're going to put Trump back on trial for prison.
They're going to put me back in prison.
Every day I said, hey, this thing's all or nothing.
Just because we had this tremendous victory in November, I told every time, they're all partying, oh, this is great, and everybody's running around, I've got a MAGA hat now, and I said, hey, it's fine, but understand, we're at war.
They come in from this town we had here at Butterworth's, we had four parties during the, and we were low-key, we had four parties during the inauguration, packed every night, people in ball gowns, I said, guys, tomorrow, we've got to go to It's not going to be turned around.
Even a guy like Donald Trump, as powerful as he is, as focused as he is, as admired as he is, as big as the movement, we struggle every day.
And this story, the final chapter in the story is far from being written.
unidentified
You talk about declaring economic war on the Chinese Communist Party.
I think we did.
But these tariffs also impacted, or perhaps even declared economic war on your own allies, the European Union, Britain, Canada.
steve bannon
Give me the allies again.
European Union, Canada, Britain, Australia.
I am so insulted by you using the term allies.
Allies supposed to be somebody in something together.
The European elites are total and complete deadbeats.
I was the guy on point in the first administration.
I had to be a supplicant to ask you guys, would you please consider getting up to the 2% and 2.5% that you committed after you forced your way into Ukraine in 2014?
You realized you were going to have a fight on your hands.
You actually realized we have to get to 2% or 2.5%, which none of you did.
Only the Brits came close and later the Poles.
And if you look at really, particularly the Germans, the Italians, some of these people are horrible.
The French, if you actually look at where the defense budget goes, it's not going to combined arms operation.
It's not going to maneuvers.
It's not going to pensions.
It's going to pensions or women's health care or climate change.
Climate change is a big one.
It's all phony.
It's all fake.
You haven't been an ally forever.
You can't pull your weight.
If you took the United States out of Western Europe today militarily, the whole thing would collapse.
We're the infrastructure and the backbone of everything.
It's completely unacceptable.
This is why they praise Joe Biden.
If you read the new books coming out about Joe Biden, own chiefs of staff, they had to tell him, hey, you're not the president of NATO.
Because he kept sitting there babbling, well, you know, the NATO guys really love me.
They love me, of course, you're giving them everything.
The Western European people must understand that their elites have not been allies to the United States.
You've looked at the burden of everything, of manpower, right, of defense.
Right now, you call yourself an ally?
In the Red Sea right now, we have two carrier battle groups.
That's about 24,000 sailors doing airstrikes on the Houthis to keep the Red Sea open, to keep the Suez Canal open, to keep trade going to Europe so your prices don't explode.
And you know what we have down there?
Last I saw, you have, I think, one British destroyer, one French frigate, one Italian Corvette.
You don't even take seriously your own thing.
So how can we take you seriously?
You're not allies.
You don't act like allies.
What you do is you and you moan when the United States says, hey, look, We have a trillion dollar defense budget and we've got to cut the defense budget or we're going to cut spending because we have a two trillion dollar deficit every year.
So I appreciate GB News.
That's like the second or third time they've had me for an interview.
And those interviews you can't do on British television.
I mean, they're in British television, but they get a lot of blowback.
The restrictions on free speech are so strenuous in Great Britain.
That it's very tough even to put that up there when you talk straight to them.
And this goes back to what President Trump is dealing with, like you talk on the trade situation.
They've gamed the system, and the Germans on the cars, they've gamed the system entirely.
And administration after administration looked the other way.
Biden and these guys were the worst.
They gave NATO and they gave the Western Europeans everything.
If you're going to be an ally, Why is it our burden for your defense?
Why have you never stood up?
And the reason is your population wants state health care.
They want lower college education.
They want early retirements in the 50s or early 60s on full pensions.
And you want those six-week vacations in the summer.
I got it.
I'm not saying that's wrong.
If you can do that and also provide for your defense, particularly when you're the ones pushing into Ukraine constantly from 2014 on, if you do that and want to pay for it, that's fine.
But why are you dragging us into it?
And here's the reason.
The Atlanticist, the Atlanticist, and I don't want to say this is racial, but, hello, the Atlanticist, the people in the Atlantic Council, they're just all over the biggest thing in the world.
It's not the biggest thing in the world.
It's not the biggest thing in the world.
You add on top of that in the Red Sea, we're funding that entire deal and putting our sailors in harm's way.
Hell, we had an F-16 that's already been shot down.
They've lost more.
I think it was two F-16s.
One was definitely shot down.
I think the pilots may have rejected the others.
I might add that this is the first casualty President Trump had in the first term.
It was around Yemen.
This is why our budget's a trillion dollars.
Pete Hex is out there.
Pete Hex is in Panama.
And why is Pete Hex in Panama?
Why two weeks ago did Pete Hex go to first Hawaii, second to Guam, third to the Philippines, and to Japan.
That's called the Three Island Chain.
That's the hemispheric defense of the United States.
It starts there.
The vast Pacific.
And the Pacific is half the globe.
It's half the globe.
When you actually take a globe and look and you turn it, you've got, if you see the Earth turn, anytime you're seeing a shot from the moon, when it turns away from the Eurasian landmass and it's on the Pacific, all you've got is blue, baby.
It's ocean.
That ocean is the national defense of the United States.
This is why President Trump has got J.D. Vance up in Greenland.
Going there to the military base.
Whatever alliance or whatever we work out with Greenland, those submarine bases will block in the Russian Navy up in Archangel and Murmansk.
They can't come through unless we can track them.
That's why Pete Hex is down in Panama.
That's why Larry Fink has gone ahead and bought from Hutchinson and Wampoa the kind of stevedore or port running operation of which the Chinese Communist Party just thwarted.
The Chinese Communist Party has stopped two deals in the last couple of days.
Number one, they came with Hutchinson and Wampoa and said, absolutely no way do you sell that.
You're not going to sell that to the Americans.
In addition, I think yesterday or last night, they put a kibosh on TikTok.
No sale of TikTok.
They're all tying it in to the trade deal.
And hey, tonight at midnight at 104%, that'll get their attention.
The currency is under tremendous pressure.
They just put an announcement as we came on air that these companies, and remember, all the companies are associated with the Chinese Communist Party.
The companies had to come out and say publicly as markets open, because the market's opening right now in Tokyo and very quickly will spread to Shanghai and Hong Kong, which had gotten crushed.
The companies came out and said, we are going to go in and buy stock.
And the Chinese just get the printing press up now.
They're not the private reserve currency, so it really hurts when they do this.
They're teetering.
And they've talked a big game.
They've challenged the United States.
They're all over the Caribbean.
There's things going on in Cuba.
There's some classified stuff going on down there.
If you knew it, your head would blow up.
Your head would blow up of what they're trying to do and how they're, quite frankly, in many regards, and I'm not saying they're putting nuclear weapons down in Cuba, but they're doing things.
in the Bahamas and Cuba and all those islands down there, which they spent the last 10 and 15 years building up, that is not in America's national security interest.
This is why Pete Hexas and...
Okay, President Trump, that's happening.
And to control that, remember, the lease and the deal was, hey, you've got to manage it in our best interest, and you have not.
The elites in Panama sold out directly to the Chinese Communist Party.
This is what they do.
The Chinese Communist Party comes in, and it's basically predatory capitalism and elite capture.
They capture elites, and they capture elites in Great Britain and in Europe.
This is why we have such a problem down in the southern part of the third island chain.
This is what Cleo Pascal has been talking about.
The things that your grandfathers fought for to basically fight across the Pacific is all being given up now as the Chinese Communist Party is there.
So the Chinese Communist Party at midnight got a big old problem.
And President Trump's not trying to back down.
And we had Forrest Chow on this morning for the new federal state of China.
And we are going to do something very big for June for Tiananmen Square to have a conference in Washington, D.C.
We'll get more about that later that everybody can attend because we want all the war and posse to show up.
And we're going to do somewhere in central Washington.
But we want to lay out the fact of, like Forrest said today, the Chinese Communist Party is going to fight back and they're going to fight back hard because they understand the control, the illegitimate control of the Chinese people of Laobaijing in the Chinese nation of which they have a huge legitimacy problem.
Why do they have a legitimacy problem?
Well, after fighting as a revolutionary cause, they really didn't technically win.
They kind of got over top of the Kuomintang.
And Kuomintang, one of the armies collapsed and they were going to retreat.
But it was essentially handed to them.
Control of the nation was handed to them by General Marshall and the State Department with the sign-off of the White House.
This is what the whole McCarthy and all those guys came to power.
All that was about who lost China.
How did this happen?
The Chinese had been a huge ally of us in World War II. And America had a history and a relationship with China since the Clipper ship days.
And then the religious, you know, the massive missionary effort put forward prudence.
The Americans always had this very close relationship with the Chinese and all of a sudden, next thing you know, the Chinese Communist Party is kind of running the deal.
Just like the Bolsheviks, a super minority party.
Never really put forward any kind of elections, never really had legitimacy.
They're worried about Wang Xishan and their senior guys now think every day, they're worried every day about this legitimacy issue.
And who gives them legitimacy?
The sociopathic overlords on Wall Street, the same guys that shipped the jobs over.
Why do you think we have Brian Costello on here on Sequoia Capital all the time?
The fix is in the capital market, the capital providers, venture capital, private equity, the Wall Street public markets, all went to China to give China access, give China access, the Chinese Communist Party access to American capital, particularly equity and debt capital markets.
The equity capital markets here is not retail-driven.
It's institution-driven.
What I mean by institution, I mean that's a fancy name for your pension fund.
So this is the tragic part of it.
You financed it.
Your tax money financed part of it, and your pension funds financed the others.
Because people who were fiduciaries, i.e.
the people that ran the U.S. government and people that ran the hedge funds, were supposed to do it in your favor.
They didn't.
You got screwed, and you paid for it.
I want the salt to go into that wound.
I want it to go into the wound deep.
This is what happened.
This is with all the talk and tariffs.
Do you see any Democrats?
Do you see anybody standing up and saying that truth?
Do you see the Kochs or Leonard Lee or anybody saying it?
But this is what Trump's trying to do.
What the hell do you think I'm all for the Trump 28?
A guy like this comes along and it may be once in a country's history.
In this nation, we've been lucky to have two before him.
General Washington and Abraham Lincoln.
And I say that as a student of American history.
Oh, Bannon, you've read a couple books.
No, I have studied American history.
You've got two guys.
You've had some great leaders in the country.
Don't get me wrong.
General Jackson is my guy.
Right? You've had some great leaders in this country.
But you have two that are world historical figures.
And that would be General Washington and Abraham Lincoln.
Donald Trump's the third.
I don't care if they like it or not.
If Morning Joe's head's going to blow up and they say, oh, you can't say that.
The guy's a criminal.
He's a crook.
He's been a...
Hey, you guys did all that to him and he consciously knew you were going to do it to him and he came back anyway.
And that's what this fight...
He's not doing small things.
What stuns me every day is coming out of the white...
It's like today.
This cold situation, the executive orders on cold, and the energy department and, of course, EPA and others and Interior to execute on this, it's monumental.
And the execution is everything.
But today, for clean cold, what is it?
It's another part of President Trump's full-spectrum energy dominance.
He doesn't want to be energy independent.
That was kind of the thought of, you know, back in the 20th century, in the early 20th century.
No. Full spectrum energy dominance.
If it's energy, he wants to dominate the space.
And he's going to dominate the space.
And coal has gone from 48% down to 16%.
And remember, this is what Dave Wall says all the time.
It's reliable.
It's there.
And with clean coal, it's clean.
Hell, China's building, I think it's, what, they have 300 plants.
Do you think that they care that we've overheld them to any standards whatsoever?
Okay, I want to make sure everybody get ready.
Now, Zero Hedge, I think Grace is, Grace, we're going to link to this on our site, I think through, on Getter and Rumble.
Grace is going to have it up, so make sure you check with Grace if you're in the chat.
But don't miss it.
Zero Hedge.
I want to thank the guys at Zero Hedge.
This is going to be very special.
And here's what's great.
It's right in the middle and when the real heat of this is happening right now.
And you've got Spencer Morrison, so I think he's just done a terrific job.
The book is fantastic.
And, of course, you've got Peter Schiff, and Peter's a well-known libertarian and a guy, alternative investments.
He's got some real theories of the case, and they're going to both present them.
And it's fantastic.
You get the benefit of both types of thinking, and then you kind of weigh and measure it.
You know, there's been a lot today.
We haven't been able to get into it, but there's a whole lot today about Peter Navarro and Elon Musk and President Trump's position as a populist nationalist and what President Trump's putting forward.
But I think if you look at everything, including the leak today that Semiforce got about President Trump, the first time any Republicans ever thought in history about raising the taxes on the upper bracket or the people making over a million dollars a year.
That in itself is monumental.
He's... Totally rethinking the whole thing, and everything is so big and so important.
This is why we have to have his back.
I don't agree with everything the president's doing.
I don't.
Some of the stuff on the reconciliation, I don't understand.
The more I understand part of it, I don't agree with it.
But that's okay.
He totally agrees 100%.
He's putting forward, and he's driving things to a vision.
I know what he wants is that he wants this tax cut out of there.
He thinks we need to extend the tax.
I 100% agree.
For the middle class and working class and for the entrepreneurs, and maybe for some of the corporations, you do need to extend the tax cut.
But then we get down to the tough, and I think Peter Schiff's going to talk about it tonight.
And on this part of it, I do agree with Peter.
He said $25 trillion over the next 10 years.
I think it may be more than that.
I'm going to have to do the calculation.
I think, because we've done so much short-term, real short-term under Janet Yellen, and that's how third-world countries kind of do it, I think we have $10 trillion 10 trillion just in the next year that Scott's got to refinance.
Birch Gold, the way you get smarter in all this, and this is why we did it for you, is to go to birchgold.com slash Bannon.
The end of the dollar empire.
Remember, all of this, even when Peter Schiff talks tonight or when you hear people talking, the greatest export we have is the dollar.
Our system, the post-war system, is predicated upon that.
It's not your fault that people are questioning, does that system work?
It's the elites.
They've been financially irresponsible.
This is why in this reconciliation, we have to have a partners discussion.
And over the next couple of days, we're going to try to have it as number one, you know, can we afford, do we need and can we afford a trillion dollar defense budget?
Don't we have a hemispheric defense now?
Number two, on the discretionary income on the social programs, including Medicaid.
I think there's things on Medicaid you can do.
It's very smart understanding because the jobs don't pay what they used to pay.
People need Medicaid, right?
Certain people need Medicaid.
You just have to...
You have to come to that reality.
It doesn't mean you can't cut.
You can't make refinements and changes to Medicaid to make the number less.
And also in the other social programs.
I didn't say this was going to be painless.
Cutting the budget is not going to be painless.
We also need the Doge aspect to come up.
We need to see the waste and the fraud now.
We need to put real numbers to it, and we need to impound that money in the 2025 budget.
Birchgold.com, the guys that you'll be thinking about tonight when you hear this.
Birchgold, Philip Patrick, we're going to get Philip on tonight, but I want to delay it.
Our day or two as this thing goes through, particularly midnight tonight, when the Chinese, when the reciprocity kicks in.
