Let's walk through this.
A lot of people that aren't familiar with this MAGA media universe might say, oh, you know, conservatives and people who support Donald Trump go to Fox News.
Actually, it's much, much bigger than that.
Walk us through it.
unidentified
Yeah, I've been struck in the last couple of months, even when I'm talking to CEOs or people in media, how little they understand the depth and breadth of kind of the MAGA media.
It is big, it is powerful, it is organized, and it operates so much differently than your traditional media ecosystem, and that they see this as information warfare.
And we might think about it as like one or two names, like Don Jr. Or Charlie Kirk.
But it's a massive, massive ecosystem.
You see a lot of it on X. So anyone who goes to X, formerly Twitter, you see a lot of these people.
But beneath it is where all the activity is.
If you go to YouTube, if you listen to podcasts, if you go to Rumble, if you go to Instagram, if you go on TikTok, if you go to any place where most people in America congregate for their information and news, and I think the two end up blending together.
Megastars have way more clout, way more authority than most of the household names that your viewers are used to following.
And they cut across all of these platforms, so they'll have huge followings for their podcasts.
You look at podcasts on any given week, and that's how a lot of people get the vast majority of their news.
You look at that top 10 ranking, you'd be hard pressed to find one liberal and you're often going to find five or six people from the mega media infrastructure in there and on that list.
And then that content moves to YouTube, moves across TikTok, moves across Instagram, and they have a very shared common worldview.
So even if you're thinking about your program today, where you're the interpretation that you guys have talked about of the Zelensky meeting.
It's a different universe if you go into MAGA. They think that Vance was a hero and a tough guy.
And they think that Trump was a master of the universe and that Zelensky was disrespectful in both his tone and his wardrobe.
And they're all in.
And that's kind of the ecosystem that sits and is kind of the surround sound for Trump.
joe scarborough
Last week, where you actually had this MAGA ecosystem split.
You had a lot of people very angry about Andrew Tate, his brother, coming back to the United States.
You had a lot of people in the MAGA universe very upset about the Epstein files, and there seemed to be a split between these three different groups that you point out.
Take us through those three groups.
unidentified
Yeah, I mean, the big one is, like, the true MAGA meat-eaters.
Like, they're full MAGA, whether it's, like, a Steve Bannon or a Charlie Cook or a Don Jr. Like, they are unified on almost all of these topics.
There is kind of a middle of MAGA, which is like mostly MAGA folks that you see, someone like Hugh Hewitt, who used to be pretty conventionally conservative, who now would kind of fall into that category.
And then the big one is like MAGA adjacent.
And that would be like the Joe Rogans of the world, where they're not inherently political, not always political, but have become very MAGA over the last 18 months.
And I think one of the reasons Trump won the election and surprised people was this merger of MAGA media with what I would consider kind of the bro longevity industrial group.
Complex, kind of that Rogan universe.
Or even Huberman, who's a pretty famous longevity guy, who increasingly you find himself injecting himself into politics on X. And it's the three of those in totality that do have a lot of clout.
And yes, they have edge cases like the Tate brothers coming back to the US where there's some disagreement.
But for the most part, they don't allow that much disagreement.
And they use information.
And I think this is the thing that Democrats are wrestling with right now.
They don't look at it as news.
They don't look at it as information.
They look at it as information warfare.
And they look at having each other's back and being on each other's shows and going after anybody who's a critic.
It's one of the big explanations of why you got Senate confirmation for every single person Trump wanted.
Because you do not want to be in the vortex of the mega industrial complex if you're on the wrong side of it.
Because they will come after you and their people are listening and watching and reading them.
joe scarborough
There used to be a presence.
For liberals, they did fairly well online, but they don't.
As Jim said, you look at the top podcasts, you look at what accounts are getting the most hits, it's usually these MAGA accounts.
unidentified
Yeah, I mean, what Jim's describing in terms of an industry is also, in many ways, the media apparatus of a cult.
And functioning as media that broadcast lies, convinces people to hate, is built on a brainwashing function so that when the humiliation and the disgrace of Friday, as we were talking about, happens, there is ready for them a bunch of millions of people who will see it in a reality distortion field that has been created.
And I think it's incredibly important.
You're right.
That people who are on the pro-democracy side in this country build up a media apparatus that can, the word I've used again and again, is help people make meaning.
Meaning doesn't make itself.
When an event like Friday happens in the Oval Office, the meaning of that is not self-generating.
And if you have this giant apparatus that Jim's describing that is helping people make one meaning of it, a meaning that is favorable to Vladimir Putin, favorable to the Kremlin, and you don't really have democratic politicians, certainly, but also not a giant new media apparatus on the pro-democracy side that helps people make a different meaning, but also not a giant new media apparatus on the pro-democracy side that helps people make a different meaning, that helps people remind people of what the United States has been, what
Then you're just ceding the territory, and this is a, I just don't believe we can cede this new media territory.
steve bannon
This is the primal scream of a dying regime.
unidentified
Pray for our enemies.
Because we're going medieval on these people.
steve bannon
I got a free shot at all these networks lying about the people.
joe scarborough
The people have had a belly full of it.
steve bannon
I know you don't like hearing that.
I know you try to do everything in the world to stop that, but you're not going to stop it.
It's going to happen.
jake tapper
And where do people like that go to share the big lie?
unidentified
Mega Media.
jake tapper
I wish in my soul, I wish that any of these people had a conscience.
unidentified
Ask yourself, what is my task and what is my purpose?
steve bannon
If that answer is to save my country, this country will be saved.
unidentified
War Room.
Here's your host, Stephen K. Mann.
steve bannon
It's Monday, 3, March, in the year of our Lord, 2025.
We're on the eve of tomorrow...
President Trump's address to Congress.
It's not really technically a State of the Union because, you know, when you have the...
Your initial inauguration, since it's only a couple of weeks after, they don't consider a State of the Union, but an initial address to Congress, but it'll be the same trappings as a State of the Union, very important.
President Trump, thrown down today, he's going to put people on blast.
And it goes back to, right there you saw Jim Vanderhay of Axios, the co-founder of Axios.
And one thing about Vanderhay, for our audience to understand, he and Mike Allen...
Where the two guys, I think it was the Washington Post, that pitched the idea of a politics-only section for the Post, and it was rejected, my understanding, by Post management and the owners back in, you know, 20 years ago.
I think the All-Britain family stepped in, they went to them, and that was the formation of Politico.
Those two guys founded Politico, which really changed political reporting in our nation's capital and throughout the country.
Something just focused on politics, intense focus on politics.
Then they cashed out.
Ultimately, Politico was sold for a couple of billion dollars, I think it was, over a billion dollars, to a German publisher.
It's now controlled by the Germans, or owned by the Germans.
They would say they give free editorial control, but obviously that's not true.
And Jim and Mike, who are two of the smartest guys when it comes to media, and particularly new media, Then went and founded Axios.
And Axios is the conventional wisdom.
And their whole thing is about brevity.
They want all the information to get to you, and they want to get to you quickly.
So if you go to Axios, and Axios is free, I recommend everybody out there put the Axios on your list of things to read every day.
Because it gives you the conventional wisdom of the imperial capital about what's going on.
They have done...
A huge report, but they have not released it just to their corporate clients, I think it is, on MAGA Media.
And you saw right there Jim Vanderhay on Morning Joe.
And Jim Vanderhay, very different than Anon.
Oh, it's a cult.
This is all propaganda.
It's made to foreign people.
Remember, all this podcast, all the streaming, Real America's Voice, The War Room, Jack Posobiec, Charlie Kirk, none of this was done with corporate money.
It was all done kind of bootstrapped.
And because the content was so compelling, and people had different takes on how they did it, from Bongino to Charlie Kirk, to Jack Posobiec, now we've got Eric Bolling, you have so many names out there and different takes on things.
Ted Cruz has got a great podcast with brother Ben Ferguson.
This was all done because people are thirsting for this information.
And it is information warfare, there's no doubt about that.
Narrative setting, this is how the corporatists, the rulers of this country...
The lords of easy money on Wall Street.
This is how they've controlled this nation, by giving you a very one-sided view of the world.
The most important thing was said today on Morning Joe and with Vanderhay is that they actually described, and he talked about talking to corporate CEOs, of which Vanderhay and Alan cater to, is that don't think that Fox News drives the agenda here.
Don't think Fox News drives what's really important.
Fox News is kind of old school in that way.
It's very passive.
That this new, what these new developments are, is really information.
It is information warfare.
We freely admit that.
But the information we put up, because we do look at both sides, right, of an issue.
I shouldn't say both sides.
We look at every side of an issue to get to the truth.
And look at our track record over the last couple of years.
Let's take specifically, let's take the question, two questions of the day, or three questions of the day.
Ukraine, 100% right from the very beginning.
1,000% right from the very beginning.
And millions of lives would have been saved and the destruction of a nation, of a country like Ukraine, would have been avoided.
On the border, Todd Benson is going to come on here.
He's got an amazing report at CIS this morning.
Todd will be with us.
In a couple of segments from now, and Todd is saying, hey, the border essentially has been, the crisis has been shut down in under 40 days.
It didn't take the big legislation.
Remember, oh, you have this legislation, the Senate bill, the Senate bill is going to do it.
No.
We told you that was a lie.
At the time, it was a lie.
Biden and these people are saying, oh, no, it's nothing you can do about it.
It's deep causes.
You have to get to core causes, right?
No, you don't.
You don't have to do that at all.
It's basically been secured.
And that does not include even Pete Hexeth calling up the striker vehicles and another 3,000 combat troops and support troops to the border, now over 12,000.
As we've told you and teed you up, that is going to be for a kinetic part of the takedown of the cartels.
The third is about the financial crisis in this country.
Remember, the three things we're talking about is what we've talked about, about stopping the kinetic part of the Third World War.
The sealing the border and the mass deportation is in the middle of the existential threat is the financial situation.
And on cue, on the Hill newspaper today, what?
Johnson's saying now completely reverses what he said on Caitlin Collins the other day.
And we told you this was going to happen.
He's saying, well, you know, the doge cuts, I got to have a clean CR. It's going to be like a line long.
We'll get to the doge cuts.
We'll actually do those in the corporations process that'll be in June and July for next year.
So we will match our track record against all the collective of the mainstream media, the corporate media, or the progressive media.
Let's add it up.
This doesn't even include on the steal, on Trump coming back, on the impeachments, It's not to tout our record.
It's just to show that America's New Day is built upon information.
This is the way they've controlled you.
And it's your agency, your human agency, not this show, your agency, to take actionable information and to apply it to your personal life, to your financial life, to your family life, to your community, and ultimately, In the Great Awakening and getting red-pilled, people who for their entire lives are not engaged in politics are now engaged in politics and a force to be reckoned with.
The reason Jim Vander Hey did that for corporate America is they're nervous.
They're scared.
As I told you at CPAC, they don't understand you and they can't destroy what they don't understand.
And that's this frantic, frantic movement.
It is a great compliment to this audience, to your latent and actual power.
Short break.
All right.
Back in the war in a moment.
unidentified
It is it is happening before our eyes that the criminalization of the White House.
I think, you know, so much has happened since January 20th, but I think that Friday meeting hit people who watched it in a way that very few things have, because it felt like the kind of it felt like to me the kind of end of the free world as a concept and a construct that the United States is involved because it felt like the kind of it felt like to Right.
joe scarborough
Isn't it interesting how that when you looked at what happened in London the next day, suddenly it looked like, you know, Ronald Reagan saying America was a city shining brightly on the hill for all the world to see, talking about pushing back against Russian.
Aggression, Russian expansion.
Suddenly it looked like that center had been ceded to Tim Downing Street.
unidentified
And centering him.
Yeah.
Keir Starmer got to have his love actually moment.
joe scarborough
He had his love actually moment.
unidentified
Hugh Grant finally develops a little backbone.
joe scarborough
You saw King Charles III actually not shocked that...
So Linsky dressed a good bit like Winston Churchill in World War II at times.
unidentified
Oh, wow.
It's an incredible, incredible moment.
I think David's piece is so beautiful and haunting.
And this moment, it feels like the end of something and the beginning of something else.
The end of a moment where you could talk about the American...
steve bannon
It is.
This is the nonsense.
This is why the ecosystem of the podcast are the right...
And the MAGA movement and President Trump are so powerful, that's so weak, that's just all nonsense and crap.
They take no responsibility.
I want to make sure we focus on where we are.
There are a million dead or wounded Ukrainians.
The Ukrainian parents of young men 18 to 26 years old, I guess young men and women, because they drafted women too, have really stood up and said, no more.
You're not...
Taking our kids and throwing them into the charnel house for this corrupt oligarchy.
Zelensky's, I think, at 16% the reason he won't have elections.
There's 800,000, and this is Ian Bremmer, who, so this is not President Trump.
Ian Bremmer tells me 800,000 dead or wounded Russian troops, and Ian is a guy that very much focuses on the math.
So 800,000.
It's almost 2 million.
And please remember, because they do not teach World War II correctly.
From the invasion of Poland, 1939, which I don't think is actually really the start of the war, but it's the historical, what people think is the start of the war.
So in September of 1939, the German invasion of Poland, to June of 1941, the German invasion of Russia, the Wehrmacht's invasion of Russia, of which the bloodlands was down at a place called Ukraine.
In that two-year period, with the Polish invasion, then the invasion of France by the German army, sweeping through Europe, Europe collapsed, the blitz over London, everything that happened in North Africa with the French and the French fleet.
You add all that up, it's nothing compared.
It's nothing compared to what has happened in Ukraine.
Ukraine is the beginning part of the, we're in the kinetic part of the Third World War and the Eurasian landmass.
You add the Muslim Brotherhood's attack, sneak attack on Israel on October 7th.
We are.
And we have preached that gospel from day one and saying, hey, this has to stop or it will metastasize because wars, whether it's the Revolutionary War, the Civil War, World War II, or anywhere you see, They tend towards annihilation.
Why?
They become almost vendettas.
President Trump has seen that from the beginning.
None of this would happen if they hadn't stolen the election, if the apparatus, the deep state, had not stolen the election from President Trump in 2020. They want the forever wars.
Yep, they want the forever wars.
And that's why President Trump is trying to stop it.
And you saw, and here's why, and I told you on Friday when it happened.
Zelensky going to the Hay Adams Hotel, and they accused that now of just being Democrats.
There were Republicans there too.
That whole clique in the Senate, the pro-war clique, completely owned by the arms industry.
Zelensky thought he had the cards.
This is why the phrase...
That Trump continues to use.
You don't have any cards.
You don't have any cards.
You have no leverage.
You're just a punk.
We cannot and must not re-engage with them and the Europeans.
Starmer and these guys yesterday.
It's all smack talk.
It has no meaning.
The people in Europe are never going to back this up.
They're going to turf all these guys out.
As they've already turfed out a couple of the governments.
Italy.
France, Spain, Germany, England, they're all on the verge of a sovereign debt crisis.
Their economies are sputtering.
They're not even really first world industrial powers anymore.
Germany's de-industrialized.
Their economy has shrunk by 5%.
These countries are virtually in economic distress.
The only reason they had the free health care, the pension when you're in your 50s, the six weeks vacation, full vacation over the summer, is because of you.
You underwrite their defense.
Call their bluff.
If they thought Russia was such a thing, they would pay two or three or four.
Trump says 5%.
They don't.
They won't pay 2%.
They want you to underwrite it.
We're out.
We're not going to do it.
We'll be an ally, but we're not going to treat you like a vassal state, like a protectorate.
Not going to do it anymore.
All of NATO, ex-the United Kingdom, cannot put up two combat divisions.
It's a joke.
I told you from the beginning, what they were going to do and what Zelensky was going to do, he needs a security guarantee.
He needs your sons and daughters.
They need your sons and daughters as hostages in Ukraine.
An unlimited amount of money.
Hell, we spent $350 billion.
What do we got?
And who spent that?
The only thing that came out of this was that Mitch McConnell was thrown out of being leader because he broke his pick on what topic?
Ukraine.
And this gets back to the first segment.
It's just on the confirmation hearings.
It's taking down the leadership of the RNC. It's removing McCarthy as speaker.
It's removing McConnell as leader.
That was you.
Your power is unlimited once you understand you actually have power.
It's unlimited.
And that's what they're freaking out.
And the smart guys like Mike Allen and Jim Vanderhaef kind of looked at me and said, hey, I think I see where the source, it's Trump, and it's coming through, it's manifesting itself through these podcasts and these shows and networks like Real America's Voice.
You have to remember what they talk about and say, we're banned everywhere.
This show is consistently one of the top podcasts, but we're also, it's a podcast, but that's secondary.
We broadcast live four hours a day.
Live four hours a day on Real America's Voice and the streaming services.
And all the streaming services they put us up on.
And we're banned everywhere.
On Twitter, on Facebook, on YouTube, on Spotify.
And I've never gone back and said, oh, put his back on.
No, since Trump won.
I detest these people.
Because they think they have the control.
Plus, you're making them money.
screw them the border the border They lied to me.
Think about it.
On Ukraine, they lied and they lied.
And they lied.
And here's their arrogance.
The blood's on their hands, the suffering that they caused, the destruction of Ukraine that we said time and time again was going to happen assures the turning of the earth.
They sit there in their arrogance and they talk big talk for what?
More destruction?
It's not going to change where the British are going to put 30,000 troops they can't afford.
They'll never put them.
And if they put them, it's not going to change a thing.
The thing for President Trump, this is why the Minerals deal, I kept saying the Minerals deal, first of all, I hate it, hate the deal, hate it, hate everything about it.
What I hate most is say, no offense when I look at it, and President Trump is trying to be a peacemaker.
That's why he was trying to do the deal.
He's trying to be a peacemaker.
He understands that his hardest core supporters hate this, but that's what a leader does.
We will acquiesce to President Trump because he's trying to collect a lot of things and get down the path to peace.
But I have said and advocated, forget them.
That's a sideshow.
That is a sideshow.
That is a sideshow.
What do you mean?
See, that's a sideshow.
The thing that matters is the rapprochement with the Russians.
With the Russian people.
As awful as the KGB is.
And people say, well, how can you...
Yo, in World War II, we would not have won if we didn't partner with some of the worst people on Earth.
That was the Bolsheviks, the small group that controlled the Russian people.
And guess what?
Sent 65 million of them to their death.
After they had starved 5 million people in Ukraine.
As evil and horrible as Hitler was.
Joseph Stalin and the Bolsheviks were pretty damn close.
And yes, we pardoned them.
Remember, FDR tried to sell it at Uncle Joe, like he's some nice guy, murderous psychopath.
We pardoned with him.
And in partnering with him, and in partnering with Chiang Kai-shek and Mao Zedong in China, we saved millions of American lives.
It is quite uncertain whether World War II had ever been brought to a close.
Unless we did that.
It is uncertain whether America would have taken those types of casualties.
Just is.
The British, this is why D-Day was so late.
The British were so, so, so, because of the destruction of World War I. Were so hesitant to go back.
That's why it was delayed year after year after year.
You must understand how we got here.
And the lies of these people.
And they're arrogance.
And they're just flat out evil.
Evil.
Evil.
So it's either us or them.
There's no compromise here.
I've told you before, you cannot compromise with these people.
There's nothing to compromise about.
We are right and on the side of the angels.
And they are wrong and on the side of the demons.
unidentified
Back in a moment.
War Room.
Here's your host, Stephen K. Mann.
steve bannon
One thing, I got Benzman on.
Benzman's got a bolt, so I'm going to get him on first.
I'll come back to some of the media stuff later.
But remember, this is about controlled opposition.
Fox didn't do this.
Fox did not reverse this.
Why?
They're controlled opposition.
The Murdochs are neoliberal neocons.
They're part of the problem.
Fox is just to soothe you and make you feel like you're winning.
unidentified
When you're not winning at all, you're actually losing.
steve bannon
You're actually losing.
The other is about connecting.
Trump connects like no one else, has a visceral connection in the audience.
That, in a much smaller account, and for a different, is Vander Hayes, like that all shucks.
When Vander Hay talks about that all shucks, kind of Wisconsin nice, there's a brain going there a mile a minute, but he can connect.
I've seen it.
Whereas Joe Scarborough, trying to do the same thing, oh, I'm a preacher, all this, I was a Republican, that's controlled opposition.
He's the manifestation of the Republican Party and what they were.
Not what they are today, what they were.
And that's why we've lost.
The country did not get in its shape just because of a bunch of progressive Democrats and horrible billionaires and people in the deep state.
They also had the willing, they had the help and the assistance of the controlled opposition that just gave a wink and threw out some stuff in the foreground so that you could play shiny toys.
We don't do shiny toys here.
So today, it's the Third World War, President Trump trying to stop it, and do a strategic realignment that sets the direction of the 21st century and leads to the ultimate breaking of the Chinese Communist Party.
And their sidekicks, the mullahs in Persia.
And I'm now more convinced than ever, we've got to start calling it Persia.
The Iran thing is a total misdirection play.
You must call it Persia, the ancient enemy of the West.
The ancient enemy of the West.
Todd Benzman, you had a called shot, and I cannot give you enough accolades.
And the reason is, you did the hard work of going, like with Benzman and Michael Yan and Oscar Blue Ramirez and others, to do all that dangerous work from the Darien Gap all the way through southern Mexico, central Mexico, northern Mexico.
For years, you wrote the book that changed the direction of this, about the lies of the Biden administration.
But you called it and you said, hey, this could all be done in a month.
And maybe it took a week longer than a month.
But you nailed it.
So tell me about it.
You've got a major report out today from CIS. Tell us about this report.
I want everybody to read it.
And more important, I want everyone to share it.
What do you got, sir?
todd bensman
Well, I'm declaring it, you know, officially that the mass migration event of 2021 to 2025 is over.
Mike Banks, the Border Patrol chief, the new one, just put out the number for February, 8,326 apprehensions for the month of February.
It's not officially released yet, but he tweeted it out as the lowest number in U.S. recorded history.
And you should know, for contrast, that February of 2021 was one of the biggest numbers in U.S. history.
March was actually the biggest number in U.S. history.
And then we went on for three years of breaking all those records nonstop.
So the border...
steve bannon
But halt it, halt it, halt it, halt it.
Stop, stop, stop, stop, stop.
8,000 for February.
When you say that highest month, what's the number?
Give me the number.
Compare it.
todd bensman
I want to say that the highest month that we ever had was December of 2023. And if you count the parolees that they were flying in and bringing in over the border, in addition to the illegal crossings, it was pushing close to 400,000 in a month.
400,000.
steve bannon
Okay, hold it.
Stop.
Stop.
400,000 versus 8,000.
400,000.
That's the invasion.
Now, Todd, how was that invasion?
We were told the Senate and they hit Trump on this show.
We fought that frickin' Senate bill every day because there's nothing but an amnesty bill.
But in your face, the media and Fox News and MSNBC and all of them, this was the thing that was going to shut down.
Trump opposing it and Warren opposing it and getting people up on the ramparts and opposing and daring those senators to vote for it and even backing Lanford, that gutless coward, off.
And by the way, people in Oklahoma should be ashamed that that gutless coward represents you.
It was all a lie.
And all the original deep causes, you know, Kamala Harris, right?
Original cause, all a lie.
Everything you were told was a bald-faced lie.
What did it take, Todd?
To get it down to $8,000 a month from $400,000 a month, sir.
todd bensman
Right.
Senate bill, Senate bill, Senate bill, root causes, root causes, root causes.
I never want to hear it again.
Nobody intellectually can ever claim that any of those things, comprehensive immigration reform, broken border, all of that, completely laid waste to, is in the dung heap of intellectual...
Immigration studies and theory.
All that it ever took, all that we knew that it would ever take, is detention, expulsion, and deportation in a consistent even-handed way all along the border in accordance with the law.
The law requires those things.
That's it.
That's all that it took.
Why?
Because no immigrant That I've ever met, or aspiring illegal alien that I've ever met, and I've met thousands and interviewed them, is going to lay $10,000 in smuggling fees on the green felt gambling table if they know they're going to not get in and that they're not going to stay in.
They're staying home.
Nobody's dropping that kind of cash if they're not going to get in.
It's just that simple.
It's always been that simple.
steve bannon
Now, I want to make sure, because you say it's the end of the crisis, that's the initial crisis of the invasion part.
We still have to permanently secure the border, permanently, right?
So we don't need combat troops down there all the time.
Then we have phase next, which is the destruction of the cartels, and then the mass deportation of 10 million.
Well, first of all, I want to put to bed this idea that's floating around in the Washington Post and the New York Times that Wow, look, nobody's coming across.
todd bensman
Why is Trump putting military down there?
Why is Trump wanting to build the wall when nobody's coming?
Uh-uh.
The administration has to, I think as you said, full gas, no brake.
You cannot relent on any of the things, even for a minute, that he put in place down there on the border, or it will reverse.
You've got to keep the chemo.
You've got to keep the radiation on or the cancer's coming back.
So I just want to get that out of the way.
But number two is we have a massive cleanup mess in the interior.
The next step is the mass deportation program.
We need the $175 billion to fund it.
The Biden administration very systematically dismantled the deportation detention machine.
It's in parts all over the place.
They closed detention facilities and shut down funding for bed space and canceled the private detention center contracts.
So they have to rebuild and also expand beyond criminal aliens.
Unfortunately, they're going to have to take...
Heat, I think they're prepared to take heat by expanding that to millions of people that just waltzed in here and they're out there living and walking around.
They didn't do anything criminal, but they're here illegally.
They're eventually going to have to start pulling them, uprooting them and deporting them.
That system is already in play.
They are rebuilding that.
It's not going to take all that long.
They just need money and a little bit of time.
Just chill.
It's going to happen.
And thirdly, you know, Trump talks about fentanyl and the cartels.
That is also shaping up to be a—we're early, just we're early on that.
But it's shaping up—we stop drug trafficking and fentanyl coming in over the border.
Trump has vowed to eliminate, totally eliminate the cartels.
I don't know if he's going to be able to do that, but— If he can shut down a lot of the fentanyl and reduce the overdose deaths over the next two, three years, that will be a huge win for the country.
Nobody wants to see that.
And everybody wants to see those cartels on their knees.
steve bannon
Hang on.
He intends, they put in the strikers, tell me, Pete Hexeth has got 12,000 combat troops and logistics to back combat down on the southern border.
And we already know we've kind of shut that down.
And part of it's because of that.
But they're there for a different reason.
You've got the CIA assets.
You've got the targeting going around.
Is your recommendation, Todd Bensman, that the cartel leaders should go read about how Trump took down ISIS in about five months in 2017 to their total physical destruction?
And maybe they should savvy up and surrender, sir?
todd bensman
Yeah, they're not surrendering.
They're going to fight.
Just expect warfare if they – I mean, it's already happening.
It's already starting to ramp up down there.
But the point of having military on this side may not be to catch illegal immigrants or even drug traffickers.
It may very well be to present a credible retaliatory threat against the cartels when or if they decide to cross our border and do things to our people.
You've got, you know, mobile light infantry, you know, the 10th Mountain Division, 500 of them are already in Fort Huachuca.
They can't just be there to do illegal immigration interdiction.
I'm sorry.
They got these gigantic strikers that they're moving in.
They've got Marines.
They've got I mean, they are fully equipped and hopefully they don't have to use them.
But the cartels need to understand going forward.
steve bannon
What do you mean hopefully?
I do agree with your theory.
Hang on, we've got to do the economic part.
We've got to shut down the bankers, what you call the company.
I 100% agree.
But these bad hombres...
Only at the end of the day understand.
Look, they've got heads rolling around the streets outside in Tijuana.
Oscar Blue Ramirez said they're trying to intimidate the people in Mexico.
This is a little bit like the MAG-7, the Magnificent Seven.
Eventually, you've got to go, you know, the wild bunch.
Eventually, you're going to have to go down there, and you're going to have to kill some bad hombres, sir.
You agree?
todd bensman
Yeah, well, something's up.
You know, you have the president saying, And also Tom Homan and others in the administration saying things like, our policy toward the cartels is total elimination.
What that means, I don't exactly know yet.
I don't think any of us do, but maybe initially...
unidentified
Hold it.
steve bannon
I know.
Hold it.
I know.
I know.
When Trump says total elimination, ask ISIS, ask the ISIS caliphate what total elimination means.
It means total elimination.
And dead bad guys.
And destroyed infrastructure, like total elimination.
Take him at his word.
Am I going to lose you?
Can I hold you to another segment?
You've got to bounce.
Tell me.
todd bensman
Yeah, I can go for another five or ten.
steve bannon
Okay, that's it.
Okay, fine.
I'm going to go to commercial break.
Hang on, it's too good.
Benzman, when he says total elimination, Trump means total elimination.
You're right.
They've got light infantry and the strikers.
They've got 12,000 combat troops or combat logistics troops on the southern border, and they're not there to stop 8,000 people coming across in a month.
That's a done deal.
Short break.
back in the war in a moment.
unidentified
We will fight till they're all gone.
We rejoice when there's no more.
Let's take down the CCP.
War Room.
Here's your host, Stephen K. Vance.
steve bannon
Okay, here's what we're going to do is Todd's going to rejoin us.
He had to bounce because I've got to spend more time.
Todd's going to rejoin us and we're going to go through a lot of this, I think, at 6 o'clock tonight because it's too important.
I want to make sure Grace, make sure everybody, and this is why we put in a daily command brief.
We got all the online.
Download the podcast.
We need your reviews in the podcast.
I want to get your voice in there.
Also, it could tell other people what you think of the show.
So download the podcast.
Even if you watch live, just to give us a review, we're going to get the CIS report out.
So here's, it's three parts.
What Todd Benson was saying was within 40 days, President Trump has effectively sealed the border.
Now, it's not going to stay, so you need to, you know, you need...
Constant vigilance.
You need to build the wall.
We need all that.
The New York Times, of course, the Washington Post saying, well, it's all done now.
Everybody can come home.
No, that's because we've four deployed people.
Now, it's, you know, the DPS in Texas.
All of a sudden, Abbott's got religion.
All these guys have religion, old-time religion, because of President Trump.
But it showed the lie of, oh, you need this big bill.
The big bill Lankford had, and this is why Lankford should be ashamed of himself and, quite frankly, to me, is a disgrace.
unidentified
Because he was the wolf they put the sheep's clothing on.
steve bannon
That whole Senate bill was alive.
It's nothing but amnesty.
And President Trump told you exactly how, and he did it.
Now, it has to be permanently put in, but it goes from 400,000 in the worst month back in December of 23, which wasn't that long ago, folks, what, 13 months ago?
400,000 in a month down to 8,000?
The two hardest parts, though, are to come, the destruction of the cartels.
And when President Trump says total annihilation, total destruction, cartel leaders should check with how that worked out for the ISIS caliphate.
Which, remember, we were told by Obama, these guys are going to take a generation, didn't take a generation, took President Trump directing Mattis, I think, to under six months to leave a smoking pile of embers.
Then the mass deportations.
And I will tell you, folks, people are getting wobbly on that.
This is just not insane asylums.
It's just not the criminals.
It's 10 million have got to go.
Hispanic families and African-American men and women are not going to get salaries in the lower-skilled areas and not going to be able to get into jobs and get them higher skills and higher pay while you have this massive...
A contingent here of illegal aliens that were brought in under Biden to compete with him.
So, so much is happening geopolitically.
This is another week where decades happened.
I told you last week it was going to be one, and it was.
Now we're getting close to, of course, everybody, the Hill newspaper and Punchbowl, Jake Sherman, everybody, the lead story.
What's the lead story?
Oh, government shutdown coming.
And Mike Johnson doesn't know which way he's going, telling Caitlin Collins, yeah, we're going to have anomalies, we're going to get to all the doge-ing.
Now he's saying, no, no, no, no, I just need a one-line, you know, a CR that's going to go for a full year, and we'll get to doge in summer.
We'll put in the probation process of 26. No, dude, that dog is not going to hunt.
It does not hunt.
It's redonkulous.
You expect us to pay for all the ways for our abuse.
And also, Elon, We've got to see some numbers.
They put out, and I'm not saying it's because of our constant harping, far be it from me, but I've noticed this kind of cricket since they crossed the Potomac.
Kind of crickets.
They've just put out they're going to have a preliminary, I think, DOD report tomorrow.
So we'll get to it.
But it's put up or shut up time.
We understand all your work's not done, but we've got to know what you found and what's going to come out, and we're not going to fund it.
It can't be funded.
So Mike Johnson and this guy's got to realize, you live by the sword and you die by the sword.
We have to have a realistic conversation with the American people.
Mary Meeker, well, I'll get to that in the next segment.
One thing you need to do now, birchgold.com.

It's part of it's because of this.
They're all about to have sovereign debt crises.
What does that mean?
They can't pay off their debt because of the underlying tax structure and their economies are not growing.

All of Trump's nominees got through.
Let me repeat that.
All of Trump's nominees got through because of you manning the rampart.
So we have to have you as surge capacity when the moment comes, when you need to strike.
