Speaker Time Text
brian glenn
Moments away, President Trump will be landing behind me.
steve bannon
Real America's Voice and Brian Glenn, because of great reporting, has been invited specially to go.
This has been totally abandoned.
This is the forgotten man and woman.
Completely abandoned.
brian glenn
If you want to know what President Trump is up to, just turn on Real America's Voice.
steve bannon
The communications staff understands the power of streaming and the power of things like Real America's Voice.
brian glenn
This media landscaping is changing now.
steve bannon
The First Lady's first trip is with her husband, the President of the United States.
Showing how much he cares about this.
This is Real America's Voice has been invited by the White House communications team.
brian glenn
I think it's just a wonderful thing that he's here today.
unidentified
I'm stopping in North Carolina first because they've been abused.
donald j trump
By what's happened.
I mean, it's terrible.
brian glenn
A lot of Americans think that this is symbolic of what your campaign was all about.
unidentified
America first, putting your priorities to Americans.
brian glenn
Even going to California, where their policies might have been one of the biggest reasons why they've had these problems.
But you're putting American people first.
Your thoughts on that?
unidentified
We are.
donald j trump
Thank you.
I like that question.
Boy, I want more questions like that.
That's even a statement.
unidentified
Thank you very much.
He's a good man, that guy.
donald j trump
And he's also a very professional reporter, I have to say.
Thank you very much.
unidentified
We're putting America first.
steve bannon
Thank you.
unidentified
out the debris.
And you know we're concerned right now, over the weekend, because of the potential rain, but we are going to move as fast as we can, but we want you to be safe, and we want you to be back in your homes immediately.
donald j trump
But the people are willing to clean out their own debris.
It doesn't cost a lot.
unidentified
Yes, and they can.
donald j trump
You should let them do it, because by the time you hire contractors, it's going to be two years.
unidentified
If a family...
donald j trump
If people are willing to get a dumpster and do it themselves and clean it out, there's not that much left.
It's all incinerated.
unidentified
That's right.
donald j trump
And, you know, it's just going to take a long time if you do.
You can do some of it, but a lot of these people...
I know that guy right there that's talking.
I know my people.
You'll be on that thing tonight, throwing the stuff away and your site will be, it'll look perfect within 24 hours.
And that's what he wants to do.
He doesn't want to wait around for seven months till the city hires some demolition contract.
That's going to charge him $25,000 to do his lot.
I think you have emergency powers just like I do, and I'm exercising my emergency powers.
You have to exercise them also.
unidentified
I did exercise them.
donald j trump
Because I looked.
I mean, you have a very powerful emergency power, and you can do everything within 24 hours.
unidentified
Yes.
And if individuals want to clear out their property, they can.
Yes, but you know that you will be able to go back soon.
donald j trump
Mr. President.
unidentified
We think...
Within a week?
donald j trump
That's a long time, a week.
I'll be honest.
To me, everyone's standing in front of their house.
They want to go to work and they're not allowed to do it.
unidentified
And the most important thing is for people to be safe.
donald j trump
They're safe.
They're safe.
You know what?
They're not safe.
They're not safe now.
They're going to be much safer.
A week is actually a long time, the way I look at it.
I watched hundreds of people.
Standing in front of their lots.
And they're not allowed to go in.
It's all burned.
It's gone.
It's done.
Nothing's going to happen to it.
It's not going to burn anymore.
There's nothing to burn.
There's almost nothing to burn.
And they want to go in there.
The people are all over the place.
They're standing.
And I say, Warren, you're going in.
We're trying to get a permit.
And the permit's going to take them.
Everybody said 18 months.
You said 18 months.
You said 18 months.
unidentified
And that was last night.
donald j trump
Disasters of all time.
unidentified
And Mr. President, you can't have Rhode Island maintain a staff of thousands and thousands of people waiting to see if they have a disaster.
donald j trump
You know who came in and fixed North Carolina or the process?
Other states, people from all over the country came.
And you have the same thing.
You have a lot of people from all over the country.
Getting the people is not a problem.
Getting the organization is a big problem.
FEMA's incompetently run, and it costs about three times more than it should cost.
We can spend money on schools instead of giving money to bureaucracy.
unidentified
So I signed executive directives right away so that we could cut the red tape, we could get people back building as fast as possible, and we're going to continue doing that.
donald j trump
The one thing is they are saying they will not be allowed to start for 18 months.
unidentified
No.
That will not be the case.
donald j trump
Okay, I just hope you're right.
unidentified
You can hold me to it.
donald j trump
Four groups said that.
unidentified
No.
donald j trump
They should be able to do it.
They should be able to start tonight.
unidentified
That will not be the case.
You know first we have to take care to make sure that there's not getting rid of the hazardous waste, cleaning things up so that people can start right away.
And just like you said, if somebody, their house was destroyed and they're going to rebuild essentially the same, maybe a little bit longer, a little bit higher.
They really shouldn't have to go through much of the process.
So I want you to know that we are expediting that.
We absolutely need your help.
We need the federal help.
donald j trump
You've got it, I told you.
You will have no permit problem.
There will be zero delay.
And as far as I'm concerned, you already have the permits.
unidentified
And the resources.
donald j trump
I am more wary.
Because I met at least eight groups of homeowners.
I'm much more worried about the fact that they said it's 18 months, exactly.
And they were devastated.
They want to start now.
They want to start removing things.
They're not allowed to do it now.
And you mentioned hazardous waste.
Well, hazardous waste.
What's hazardous waste?
I mean, you're going to have to define that.
We're going to go through a whole series of questions on determining what's hazardous.
unidentified
Nope.
donald j trump
I just think you have to allow the people to go on their site and start the process tonight.
unidentified
And we will.
donald j trump
Okay, good.
unidentified
You can come back and check.
Mr. President?
donald j trump
I do have to say FEMA is a big disappointment.
We had it working well.
We had great people.
But FEMA is not good anymore.
What FEMA did in North Carolina, you know, they still haven't even gone to certain areas.
They don't know what they're doing.
And I say, you don't need FEMA. You need a good state government.
And when you have a problem in Los Angeles or when you have a problem even in the state of California, you have your own, essentially, FEMA. You fix it yourself.
You don't have somebody coming in from a state where they have no idea, like Florida.
They come in from hurricanes.
They have people staying in Alaska.
And now they see, oh, this is very nice.
But by the time they get familiar with it, they don't know anything.
The FEMA is a very expensive, in my opinion, mostly failed situation.
steve bannon
This is the primal scream of a dying regime.
Pray for our enemies.
unidentified
Because we're going medieval on these people.
steve bannon
I got a free shot at all these networks lying about the people.
donald j trump
The people have had a belly full of it.
steve bannon
I know you don't like hearing that.
I know you've tried to do everything in the world to stop that, but you're not going to stop it.
donald j trump
It's going to happen.
jake tapper
And where do people like that go to share the big lie?
unidentified
Mega media.
jake tapper
I wish in my soul, I wish that any of these people had a conscience.
unidentified
Ask yourself, what is my task and what is my purpose?
steve bannon
If that answer is to save my country, this country will be saved.
unidentified
War Room.
Here's your host, Stephen K. Mann.
Welcome.
steve bannon
You're in the War Room.
It is Saturday, 25 January 25. That kind of rolls off the tongue, right?
Our favorite, the Saturday show.
Here, so President Trump being boss, I want to, the Financial Times of London, the weekend edition, of course, their big weekend paper, beautiful picture of Melania and President Trump.
I believe that's in North Carolina, right?
Or in North Carolina, that's the front.
And the Real America's Voice coverage yesterday, just amazing.
And of course, they talk about Trump in a call with the Danes yesterday.
On Greenland, I'll get to all that.
But look at that beautiful shot right there of the president going out and being a president, being MAGA yesterday.
The New York Times, I think even a cooler shot, the New York Times, right there with President Trump.
Friday, after I dropped off our coverage, President Trump actually walked through the Palisades, and I really want to thank Amanda Head, the Amanda Head, and Ben, the photographer.
Who went in and showed you this shot beforehand.
It was great.
Had a lot of people that are, California people, a lot of people know that Palisades said that the first time in network they seen just did that extensive walk around with no, like, journalists, just a camera.
Saw damage they hadn't seen before.
Palisades is devastated.
President Trump right there.
If you're listening on the podcast, make sure you get all the footage.
Go sign up for our email, the command report, all of it.
Worm.org, you get all this beautiful footage.
Like, right there, President Trump.
You know who's missing in action right there?
You know who's not there?
Gavin Newsom.
Gavin Newsom aimed at the plane at the jet on the tarmac.
I understand.
And we checked.
I don't think it was on the official greeting committee.
He was very nice, etc.
Now, the Wall Street Journal, we know we love Murdoch's Wall Street Journal, don't we?
The Wall Street Journal, with everything going on yesterday, with everything going on yesterday, they got a panda.
But the President of the United States is going to North Carolina and to the Palisades on this massive trip that he didn't go to Davos for.
Right there, they got a cute panda.
And down here, they have an outright lie.
Free Gen 6 convicts emerge as re-energized force for Trump.
What the Murdochs want is tax cuts for the wealthy and deregulation and neoconism.
Did I mention that?
Did I mention that?
Hey, Trump's everywhere yesterday.
Dramatic pictures.
Trump's everywhere.
And the Wall Street Journal gives me a panda.
An unbearable cuteness of being a panda.
Are you kidding me?
Bow lie from the Smithsonian National Zoo.
I got Trump everywhere.
I've got Trump, you know, you're getting prime Trump right now.
You're getting peak Trump.
Because he's everywhere.
So where are we?
Yesterday, I think, sent a big signal to, and there's no Democrat response.
Folks in California...
And I had so many people reach out to me yesterday.
I hope you saw it in all of its glory.
The incompetence.
And how arrogant they are.
And how they still want to do it their way.
And how Bash just sat there and lied.
They've told everybody it's 18 months.
This is why people, progressives, are in full meltdown.
The place looks like Dresden.
And you can't even get in.
They're telling them, no, we've got to do remediation.
It's got to be toxic.
They've got all these rules and regulations.
And all the coastal commissions is Josh Pettit.
Point it out.
We'll have Josh back on next week to tell you the reality.
President Trump goes out there and says, no.
Let him start tonight.
It's a Friday.
There's a couple hours of daylight.
These people, folks out there, want to go and see what's left of their house.
The ashes.
They want to start cleaning the ashes out.
They're Americans.
This is like the settlers.
You get your place burned down, you build it back up again.
Remember in the movie Shane, where the cattle barons drive off the farmers.
And, you know, people just say, I quit.
I can't take it anymore.
And the community comes together, and they said, no, we'll rebuild the house.
And the guy goes, well, one more time, let's do it, and we'll rebuild the house.
Came together to do it.
That's what folks out there, you're going to have all these progress, everybody's getting red-pilled because they see what they have created.
Ideas have consequences.
And for so long, you thought it was a risk-free zone.
It's not.
Those enclaves.
Of, like, super progressivism.
And it took, I don't know, something so horrible to people to wake up and go, my God, what did we create?
My God, what did we create?
And Trump comes in there with moral clarity.
Not just businessmen, it's like moral clarity.
It just cuts right through it.
Yesterday in North Carolina, hey, FEMA, FEMA's got to go.
Either be restructured, gotten rid of.
Unbelievable.
Hopefully we're going to get time to play this thing.
Joel Pollack, the guy I hired after, actually Andrew hired, and I made sure it was codified as the editor-in-chief of Breitbart right before Andrew passed away, and then we made sure we redid his deal and made sure he was there.
unidentified
Joel was in that briefing.
steve bannon
It wasn't really a press conference.
It was a briefing.
President Jefferson had a mic and gave like a two or three minute talk about Johnny Kahn and himself trying to save their houses.
This is John Kahn.
American Heart.
Today, as every Saturday, we were brought to you by Birch Gold.
Everybody's going to this new installment because they want to find out what's going on.
The budget fight's going to be massive.
We're going to talk about that.
Russ Vogt.
It's all over the Washington Post this morning.
All over it.
But he's the man.
This fight, he has not been confirmed yet.
Okay, getting a vote.
Confirmation of Kristi Noem today.
They're going to move Besant forward to vote on Monday.
They're going to get him at a cloture.
A lot going on today.
In Vegas, President Trump's there.
We're going live.
We're all over President Trump and the moving White House.
Action, action, action.
Here on a Saturday.
Birchgold.com.
Check it out.
Slash Bannon.
50 and the nays are 50.
unidentified
The Senate being equally divided.
The vice president votes in the affirmative and the nomination is confirmed.
So why Pete Hegseth?
Was it just to show that Donald Trump can force Republican Senates to bend to his will, even on the worst nominees?
This could be a win-the-battle-but-lose-the-war situation, literally.
Sure is.
And you asked why Trump would do it.
It's several reasons.
First of all, he does want to embarrass the Senate and bend them to his will.
Secondly, his entire mission is to decapitate and disable functional government.
So by putting in entirely incompetent toadies, he goes a long way towards doing that.
Once the government is rid of professionals, of skilled expertise, then Donald Trump can...
Corrine from one side of the street to the other, taking the American people and international security with us.
And I must say, it is remarkable during a week in which these people made such an issue of DEI, meaning in their game...
Hiring people who are not qualified.
That they would have had this pathetic specimen as Secretary of Defense.
This is the worst kind of DEI for white incompetent drunks.
And this should not be tolerated.
It shouldn't be tolerated for someone who is, as you point out, the Secretary of Agriculture.
And it shouldn't be tolerated for someone who is going to run an organization in which any of this behavior would have been disqualified.
That full meltdown last night.
steve bannon
It's just personal attack after personal attack.
Mitch McConnell, to embarrass the president, Mitch McConnell, at the last second voted no, he had signaled he voted no, voted no, in the middle of the night or late last night.
J.D. had to come, Vice President Vance had to come over from the Naval Observatory, which is the vice president's residence, I think, and come to the Capitol and vote 51-50.
It was quite symbolic.
It just shows you that McConnell is adamantly opposed to the president.
And behind the scenes, he's working nonstop to stop the president's agenda.
And last night, he just tried to embarrass and humiliate the president.
It came down to Tom Tillis.
I want to thank the war room posse for making sure people were focused yesterday.
It really came down to Tom Tillis in North Carolina.
If Tillis had flipped.
And there was a time during the day yesterday that that was...
I think a little dicey.
Tillis's people probably say no, but, you know, we had word in the war room posse because President Trump had gone to North Carolina.
There were a lot of people worked up on that.
We're going to go to North Carolina at the bottom of the hour.
We've got a very special guest who's going to join Ben Burkhardt and myself.
Hex is in.
They have a question.
The signal here is that Marco Rubio, Senator Rubio, Secretary of State now Rubio, first man in, is walked through a complete reorientation of American national security policy saying that the post-war international rules-based order is finished.
Where have you heard that on this show for the last five years?
That it's been gamed, it's destroying the American middle class, gutting America, it's changed, we're going to go to a new...
A new strategy.
That strategy is taking place.
Let me refer back to the most powerful newspaper in the world.
The two is Daily Mail for the more popular stuff and the Financial Times for serious stuff.
Trump in fiery call with Danish Premier over buying Greenland.
I don't know if it's buying Greenland, but I think the people in Greenland are going to do a plebiscite and determine their independence and figure out what they want to do.
President Trump geostrategically is from Greenland.
In the Arctic, or Greenland, all the way to the Panama Canal, is expanding the frontier of strategic America, of the fortress America.
Taking the Panama Canal, cutting out the Chinese Communist Party's running of it, the payoff of all the corrupt families in Panama, and the screwing of the Panamanian people, I might add.
You can also, right there, maybe build a wall right there at the Darien Gap.
Hmm, interesting.
All the way up to Greenland and to cut the Russian Navy off, make sure you monitor them, and cut them off from coming from Urmanx and Archangel right through the Greenland-Iceland-UK gap.
We're a naval power, and in the Pacific, we're a naval power throughout the world.
We have the kind of Mahan strategy, and President Trump is taking that and putting it forward.
Also, the new great game of the 21st century is the Arctic, where you're having a great power contest between China.
The Chinese Communist Party and the KGB in the United States of America.
President Trump's looking at the Western Hemisphere, a hemispheric defense, and ultimately he'll bring in an Iron Dome.
I know it's quite expensive.
I haven't figured out how you're going to pay for it.
And he will leave, I don't know, after he runs again at 28, because that's now on the table.
He will leave with America, the homeland, totally secure, with a really well-thought maritime strategy.
The Russian army is kind of a European problem.
Yeah, we're there.
We're allies.
We're going to do what we can, but you've got to get peace, call a ceasefire in Ukraine immediately, set the stakes for the Ukraine, hopefully get the Russian army out of the territory they've conquered already in this debacle of Ukraine.
But we're not a continental power.
We're not a land power.
We're not going to compete and go over there and try to be a continental power.
We've had a pretty bad run of wars on the Eurasian landmass post-World War II. In World War II, we had two big allies that could take the brunt of casualties.
That would be the Chinese people, the Chinese people, and the Russian people.
President Trump reiterated yesterday, he loves the Russian people, and they've been great allies, the Russian people, not the KGB, as he talked about new sanctions.
So geo-strategically, and this is why, and Pete Hexitt at the same time is about the ethos and the warrior spirit.
Pete is talking about a revolution in military affairs.
This is what Rumsfeld was trying to get to before 9-11.
That the Marine Corps becomes more of a special force, almost more of an expeditionary force.
That the Army becomes like the Marine Corps, that you don't have big army anymore.
Because you're not going to be fighting big land wars in the region landmass.
And you start to rethink modern technology, the Navy, digital, and start to...
Come to grips with the Chinese Communist Party's strategy of unrestricted warfare.
Where you're using cyber.
You're using your capital markets.
You're using the restrictions on technology.
You're using economic warfare, psychological warfare, political warfare.
So we don't have to get to a shooting war.
Remember Sun Tzu says, if you've got to get to a shooting war with your opponent, you've already lost.
And here's the Chinese Communist Party in unrestricted warfare.
They're quite blunt.
This was written after the Gulf War.
And they lay out the strategy.
They said, You know, foreign devils, that would be us, foreign devils know how to fight.
And they walk back down, they go through our military history, and they have technology.
The last thing you want to engage a foreign devil in is an absolute gunfight.
They knew this from their experience with the British, Chinese Gordon, you know, others.
Taiping Rebellion and how that was put down, the ever-victorious army, all of that was seared into the Chinese mentality.
They look at getting into a gunfight as even the start of it as a loss.
Now, they've built up a navy and make sure they can hit Taiwan pretty strongly.
But you have Pete Hex of A Revolution in Military Affairs, the warrior ethos, coupled with Rubio's geostrategic...
Realignment here and getting away from the post-war international rules-based order.
It will be America as, you know, Manifest Destiny or Monroe Doctrine 2.0 or Fortress America, whatever you want on the Western Hemispheric Defense and with an Iron Dome.
And then pick and choose.
You can then pick and choose where you go.
And with naval assets, you can be quite flexible and a Mahanian strategy to control the choke points.
Like the Red Sea, with two carrier battle groups right now keeping Suez open.
You don't have to have a vast empire apparatus.
And maybe we can get the defense budget down from $900 billion.
At the same time, you're doing advanced technology.
And one of the issues here is obviously with artificial intelligence.
How does that start to all of a sudden, you know, drive the thing itself?
You've got chemical warfare with fentanyl.
You've got biological warfare.
You saw it coming to Wuhan lab.
You've got nuclear warfare.
It's quite complicated.
But Trump has a plan, and you see it taking place.
At the same time, simultaneously, you have Russ Vogt.
Big article Russ today in the Washington Post.
Front page about how important Russ Vogt is in this entire approach.
With Scott Besson.
And Trump's concept of America as the golden market.
Not tariffs that are a punitive tariff on a 25% tariff on a Mexican avocado.
Something broader.
We're really to get into this market and you can move your manufacturing here and he'll cut energy costs and interest rates eventually and taxes and regulation.
You can bring your manufacturing here and we can make it here and it'll cut your cost.
And there you won't have tariffs.
Or if you want to get access to the golden market, it's going to be a tolling fee.
And that's the External Revenue Service.
And it's a rethinking of the relationships in those around the Eurasian landmass, in Western Europe with NATO, in the Gulf Emirates, and in Israel.
Also around the Luton nations of the South China Sea, including India and Australia, and then up to the northeast of Korea and Japan.
Those four hotspots.
Thinking through, and he's already talked about, the commercial relationships, how that's manifested in trade.
He keeps saying, and people should start listening.
Trade deficits, trade deficits, trade deficits.
We've got to get some balance.
So you have both a geoeconomic new strategy, you have a geostrategic new strategy, you have a revolution in military affairs of how we're going to get this thing down from $900 billion, reinstall the warrior ethos and look how to defend the homeland, a hemispheric defense, coupled with the ability when we strike, we strike to win.
That doesn't even include the environmental and other things that are going on.
And of course, you've got the deconstruction of the administrative state.
You have the investigations.
The first week, the scale, the urgency, and the depth of what's happening is unprecedented in American history.
It makes even 1932 with Roosevelt pale in comparison.
You're getting prime Trump.
Because the lion in winter...
Studied.
The Lion and Winter thought.
The Lion and Winter conceived.
Now you're seeing the manifestation of it.
This didn't happen overnight.
You were there.
Many years in the making.
And many years to set things right.
Short break.
We're going to a jail.
North Carolina next.
unidentified
North Carolina next.
steve bannon
I mean, there has to be some reason.
There's not enough economic growth there.
They've just forgotten about you guys.
There has to be some reason that even the local officials are not down there.
unidentified
Well, FEMA came in and they said they didn't have any money to give us.
We can offer you $750.
That's all they offered.
They spent all their money elsewhere, legal immigrants or whatever they spent their money on.
Who knows, because we haven't audited them yet, so who knows where that money went.
They sent National Guard down here to help out.
They rescued some people during the flood, but they didn't really do anything else.
They had equipment down here, but they just kind of sat idle.
The soldiers were sitting in the machines.
You know, idling fuel away and not doing anything, not getting any work done because they were waiting on orders from their their higher ups, you know, to tell them what to do when they know what to do.
You can kind of look around and it's the National Guard, the Army Corps of Engineers.
You know, we've got bridges down.
We've got debris everywhere.
It's kind of common sense that you.
When you're trained to do things like this, you should know what to do when you come in.
You shouldn't have to wait on higher-ups to come in and say, hey, this is what you've got to do.
Start cleaning up.
They act like they don't know what they're doing.
ben bergquam
Any other reason you think why even the locals wouldn't?
I know you were saying that idle minds give you lots of thoughts.
Any reason why you guys think even the locals that should be on your side aren't doing it?
unidentified
Well, I want to say something on the FEMA thing.
We had a meeting last week with FEMA here locally, and I sat down and was like, what is your process?
If somebody wants to get rental assistance, or they want to get displacement coverage, or what are the steps?
And the first thing they said was they had to submit an application, and then they had to have an inspector come out and actually inspect their property, and then within 7 to 10 days, they should have their benefits.
We have people...
Hand over fist, that have done all the steps that they've asked them to do, and they've never heard back from anybody.
We have a gentleman that came in here earlier that has done everything he could possibly do.
He's been to the FEMA office multiple times, and he has a legitimate, a tree fell in the middle of his house, split his house in two.
He's done all the steps, he's sent all the pictures, he's done everything he's supposed to do.
The inspector came out and inspected, and then he's heard nothing, nothing from them after that.
We have FEMA trailers on the Bristol Highway over here sitting at a car lot, not being placed on people's properties.
We have people down in Bumper...
Okay, hang on.
steve bannon
Okay, this is great.
This was 10 days ago.
And this is where President Trump, obviously a lot of people getting around him and saying, hey, the FEMA was an epic fail.
You would think Tyler Burleson was one of the leaders down there and all set up, you know, eventually be the guys that President Trump came and met.
Had a tough time doing it, Ben Burkham, because they put him in jail.
Tell me why, and then we're going to go to Tyler.
What happened here, Ben?
These guys were on it.
They were the ones freezing and doing things for the community.
When President Trump and Brian Glenn talked about Samaritan's Purse and other local philanthropic and charities, they're the ones that were keeping people survived as FEMA held back the money, Biden held back the money, and the local people, the local government officials didn't step up.
So why was he not there greeting President Trump?
Why did they put him in jail?
ben bergquam
The only thing I can think, and talking to folks on the ground, I talked to Tyler's dad yesterday, talked to Tyler and Misty yesterday, it's because he's exposing these corrupt governments.
That's the only thing I can think.
I mean, to hold him without bail the day before President Trump comes to town, and now they're saying they're going to hold him until April.
I mean, it is...
Corruption at its highest level.
I didn't think we, I mean, you see what they did to you, you see what they did to President Trump, but to see this good old boy Banana Republic style injustice in these small communities where a guy puts his business on the line for four months, he loses $100,000 in revenue because he's helping these guys, everybody in his neighborhood that's...
Yeah, come on, man.
steve bannon
There's no coincidence.
Come on.
Tyler Burleson joins us now from jail.
I think we can pull this off.
Tyler, what jail are you in, and why are you in jail?
You should have been on the greeting committee for President Trump.
You did more than anybody, your group down there.
You laid it on the line.
You were able to expose FEMA. It's one of the reasons.
Now, President Trump got feedback from many, many other people also, but it builds that layering that he says, finally, hey, I'm getting rid of FEMA. So what jail are you in, and why are you there, sir?
unidentified
I'm in Unicoke County Jail.
They picked me up on a bad check, which I rectified in the same day, literally before I went home in front of the judge, and he still held me in jail with no bond.
Didn't give me any chance.
The DA said, the county is better off with you in jail, and that's where you deserve to be.
And the only thing I can think of is...
steve bannon
Nope.
unidentified
They don't want me exposing every angle and every piece of authority that's had something to do with this.
steve bannon
Tyler, when he says the county's better with you in jail, given all the work you've done and President Trump's coming and Real America's Voice and War Room just happened to be at your place 10 days before in...
People should know we made a big deal about that behind the scenes.
And I'm not saying it's the reason President Trump went there.
I'm not saying it's the reason President Trump's offering aid.
But it was one of the many elements that I think got President Trump to say, hey, if I'm going to L.A., I'm going to go see my people first.
I'm going to go to...
I'm going to go to Western North Carolina because he went there before and he's shocked and stunned and angry that nothing's been done.
So why are they considering you a danger?
Why are you a danger to the county given everything you've done?
And President Trump happens to be coming on a topic that you brought to national and actually, quite frankly, international global attention, sir.
unidentified
Because I'm trying to expose everything that they're not doing.
You know, they set up the armory.
And they're not helping even a quarter of the people that we're helping.
I mean, one of the officers yesterday told me that we have literally not done anything for our community.
When you can clearly see it, and the numbers show it, and our paperwork shows it, that we support 60 to 120 people a day.
And he looked me in the eyes and told me that we were not doing anything for our community, that the county did more for everyone than we did.
I think that's part of the problem.
They're trying to stop us from exposing that.
steve bannon
Tyler, where can people go to get information?
Has Misty still got the Facebook site up?
Where can people go to find out about your cause, your case?
We will stay on top of this with the great Ben Berkland, but I want people now to know we've got a big Saturday audience throughout the world.
Where do people go right now to find out more about this?
unidentified
There's the Facebook page, the Appalachian United Initiative, and then the...
This call will be terminated in two minutes.
I'm about to get cut off.
I've got two minutes left.
There's Facebook, Appalachian United Initiative, and the aui.org.
I mean, as far as me being arrested, it's all public record.
steve bannon
Tyler, we'll be on this.
I know how prison phones work, so I know you're going to get cut off.
God bless you, and we'll stay on top of this, okay?
unidentified
Thank you.
steve bannon
Be safe.
My entire time in federal prison, I made one phone call to Grace Chung, our CFO, chief operating officer, queen of the trolls, to say...
Execute the plan.
When I first got the next man up, and you guys were terrific.
The reason?
They monitor all the phone calls, right?
You have no privacy in prison whatsoever, so they monitor the phone calls, and it's, you know, every couple of minutes ago, you're taking a phone call from a federal prison.
So, one phone call.
They're not going to give them the satisfaction of listening to my phone calls.
So, Ben Burquam, you've only got a couple minutes.
You've got to get on the road.
Tell me about Tyler.
There are no coincidences.
They rolled him up.
Look, maybe there was some stuff.
I don't want to get into the details of the case.
That could either be rectified or it could wait.
It could wait, local officials, until after the President of the United States got there.
Because this guy's been doing stuff and maybe there's some issues.
Those issues could be resolved.
The President of the United States is coming.
He wants to understand what's going on.
He wants to talk to people, and Ben spent a couple of days up there, so those people are not phony.
Are they, Ben?
They're getting the job done, freezing up there in the middle of the night, 6 and 7 degree weather, sir?
ben bergquam
Yeah, no, they are the least phony people I've ever met.
These guys put everything on the line.
Tyler and his entire family stopped what they were doing.
They put their business on hold.
They focused 100%.
And I saw it in action.
These guys, from sunup till sundown, he can't even drive back to his house because it takes an hour and a half to get there now because the bridges are out.
So he's living on site to help people.
It is the biggest injustice.
But it's a microcosm of the injustice we see across our country.
And I want to add to where you guys can go.
I'll keep up with Tyler.
I'm going to keep up with Misty as well.
But we've got to call this judge, call the DA. Hang on.
steve bannon
I want to do that on Monday.
I want to get some more background with you.
ben bergquam
Not today.
They're not in office.
steve bannon
We're going to go in hard on this thing.
We're going to Monday, but we're going to make people famous, right?
Either let him go, or we're going to make you famous.
And you're not going to like being famous.
Ask the people here in D.C. how it worked out for them.
This is an outrage.
By the way, if the guy did some stuff wrong, I'm not getting in the middle of that.
I don't know.
Ben Dundo.
But you know what?
unidentified
Absolutely.
steve bannon
It could wait a day.
There's nothing.
He's not terrorizing the thing.
It could wait a day.
It's just very suspicious you put him away, given everything they did.
If he wrote some bad checks or did some things, hey, roll him up today.
Roll him up today.
Or roll him up yesterday afternoon after the president leaves.
There's plenty of time on a Friday afternoon.
There's nothing too busy down there in Unicorn County.
This sounds like the old days.
And I noticed they weren't lifting any fingers.
If you're so on top of things, why is Donald Trump down there in shock?
If the local officials aren't...
FEMA's terrible, but the local officials, if they had lifted a finger, why is Trump walking around?
He's in shock.
No offense, you know, the local officials in L.A. got braced up on global television.
Braced up.
In North Carolina, because Franklin Graham was there and other people, President Trump was good, but hey, don't roll a guy up.
Is he that big a threat to a community?
He couldn't wait until Friday afternoon to go and say, hey, you got some problems here with checks and we got to take it?
Come on, man.
We know what the deal is there.
You don't want a truth teller.
And maybe he's done some stuff wrong.
I don't know.
But it's just the way it rolls.
It sounded fishy.
And quite frankly, Local officials, that place is a mess.
And those people are freezing.
And that's the salt of the earth down there.
Not like Pacific Palace.
Pacific Palace is a very wealthy community.
They're in shock and they're good people there.
But that's a very wealthy community.
And they're going to struggle.
How do you think these frickin' people down there...
Ben, real quick, I know you've got to bounce.
Where are you going to go?
You're on watch.
I've got so many questions.
I know you've got to take off.
We'll get them on Monday.
About the airlifts to Mexico.
The military's gone to the border.
All things deportation.
Ben Burkham's on.
Where do they go to get all your social media, Ben?
ben bergquam
At Ben Berquam, and just real quickly, if I can say, you're absolutely right.
Everyone's focus in Irwin, Tennessee, and everywhere else in North Carolina should be on helping the people.
If this judge had any credibility, any soul, really, he would say, you know what?
You may have done something.
We're going to deal with that.
But right now, you guys are doing good.
We're going to do good.
We're all going to come together and do this good together to help the community.
That should be the message.
But at the end, I don't think he did anything wrong.
But that's just me.
At Ben Berquam on all of my social media.
And I'll be heading...
Welcome back to Chicago this afternoon, and I'll be in Brussels, Belgium on Monday for the Make Europe Great Again event.
A lot coming, Steve.
steve bannon
Fantastic.
Ben, amazing work.
And amazing work yesterday, just over the last two weeks, and to really show the world how FEMA, and Trump's going to get to the bottom of that thing.
Trump fired, I think, 17 IGs last night.
Massive.
Got rid of them.
Say you're not doing your job.
We're going to have a total reboot.
Let's have a short commercial break.
I'm going to go back.
We're going to walk through what's taken place in this first week and the underpinnings, the foundational elements that have been many years in the making.
The scale, the depth, and the urgency is breathtaking.
Breathtaking.
Short commercial break.
Back in a moment.
unidentified
Here's your host, Stephen K. Van.
Here's your host, Stephen K. Van.
steve bannon
Yeah, Tyler down there.
We have Tina Peters in Colorado.
I'm going to get on more on that this afternoon with Steve Stern and Pat McSweeney and others.
Matt Mech, Sharona Bishop, all the heroes working for Tina Peters.
Tina, we're going to figure something out there.
We have to.
See the right-to-life people, including folks I was in Danbury with.
I was in Danbury because I was standing for a principal.
I'm not going to bow to Nancy Pelosi when they're doing something illegal.
And remember, they're all over the White House getting their pardons, and the staff's getting their pardons, and the staff's got some of the worst people in D.C. here.
And don't think you're going to get away because we're working nonstop.
To figure out how you're going to get nailed, because you need to be nailed.
That J-6 committee was corrupt, and oh, Benny Thompson didn't go over there begging for pardons, blanket preemptive pardons, and Liz Cheney, that big mouth, running her big mouth all over the country.
But in that, you know, I was there for a misdemeanor, but these guys had felonies.
These men are some of the best people, the right to lifers are some of the best people you've ever met.
They're going and kneeling in front of an abortion mill.
And I don't care if you're pro-abortion or anti-abortion.
These people are there and they're saying the rosary.
These are the meekest, mildest, they're almost like, you know, living saints.
These are people that have dedicated their lives and the least violent people you've ever met.
And I mean harsh terms.
Harsh terms.
In the women, they had women over at Danbury.
Danbury's got both a federal prison and it's got a camp.
Had women over there.
In their 70s.
In their 70s.
Grandmothers and great-grandmothers.
These demonic judges.
Judges, don't think you're going to get a free pass on this.
The men and women in D.C., these federal judges, we're going to do massive investigation and lead to your impeachment and removal from the federal bench.
You people are evil.
You think you'd get a lifetime pass to be evil?
Is that the way it works?
I don't think so.
Everything's got to be above board.
All the investigations have to be out in the open.
This is what should have happened with Nixon.
The Nixon thing was the same exact, that was a coup.
And it wasn't just the CIA, the popular way, and quite frankly, the Oliver Stone and JFK. And then in Nixon, he made two, which you should both see.
I think they're masterpieces.
It was very much, it was a judicial, it was the legal system they used to take Trump down, or try to take Trump down.
Came so close, if it had not been for you, this audience and other MAGA audiences and grassroots people that had his back.
But think about it.
With all that tension, all that anxiety, because the J6 felony indictments alone were 300 years in prison.
300 years in a federal prison.
They wanted Trump.
They wanted that man you saw yesterday.
I want you to think about that.
What's happened in this country in four years, that feckless Biden and what they've done to this country.
They wanted that man.
Who went to North Carolina.
That man who went to Los Angeles and gave the progressives hopes.
Finally an adult showed up.
With all the yammering and all the nonsense out there.
And they look around because ideas have consequences.
unidentified
All that crap you guys believe for decades after decades after decades.
steve bannon
It's there in the ashes.
Right there in the Palisades.
It's manifested right there.
And they know it.
That man.
They wanted to die in a federal prison.
And hey, these federal prisons are not a day at the beach.
I ain't talking a camp.
I'm talking a prison.
They wanted Trump in a federal prison because the terms they were going to give him were so long you can't go to a camp.
Or to go over to Rikers Island or go to Sing Sing or upstate New York.
They wanted Trump to die in prison.
Hero.
That leader.
I'm not a part of any Trump cult.
I know Trump's foibles.
I know Trump's shortcomings.
I know Trump's not perfect.
Nobody's perfect.
But he's a blunt force instrument, and he's delivering blunt force trauma, and they hate him even more today.
They're shattered.
They came back, but trust me, you read the Financial Times today, this punk Soros.
This Nepo baby that's sitting on billions of dollars, that guy?
Oh, you're bullies.
Dude, you ain't seen bully yet.
Don't give me bully.
Bully's a child's term.
You don't even know what we're coming with.
Bully.
Bully that, dude.
You're evil.
You're old man's evil to the core.
Shouldn't even be in this country.
You're evil to the core.
You're evil to the core.
And your evilness and demonic evilness has spread throughout this system.
It's deep in this system.
It's got to be taken out root and branch.
And it will be taken out root and branch.
If these judges, you think because you get a lifetime appointment, you're still open to be impeached and removed from your judgeship.
No, we're not going to go and do the thing outside your house and what the left does to try to physically intimidate you because that's nothing.
That's clearly not right.
We don't support that.
Never supported that.
Because that's not getting to the heart of the matter.
What is the heart of the matter?
We have to purge the evil from the system.
And once you remember, this man right here, that guy, they wanted him to die in a federal prison.
Remember that.
They've got the most innocent, decent, holy people I have ever met.
years in a prison for praying the rosary, praying the rosary on their knees in front of an abortion mill.
unidentified
Look at that.
steve bannon
That's a leader.
Right there.
You've got progressives.
My phone's blown up overnight.
They're sitting there going, where's this guy been?
unidentified
Because they're destroyed.
steve bannon
They need something to lean on.
unidentified
Everybody's all skipping around there.
steve bannon
It's been an amazing first week.
But you see the resistance.
Everywhere from not letting the planes go into...
To Mexico, to all over.
The lawsuits and they're yammering on MSNBC. We've just begun this fight.
And who's with us and who's against us?
You saw McConnell last night.
unidentified
That evilness is against us.
steve bannon
And Sean Davis over the Federalists has got it.
It's got to be full bore.
We have to purge that from the system.
He needs to be purged.
Everything around him and his people need to be purged.
That thing he's got up in University of Louisville.
No more.
Purged.
Cut out the cancers.
