Bob, let me start with you on the specifics of the North Carolina case.
This is a very close race.
There are millions of votes cast, and I think it was an 800-vote margin, 734 votes.
It's a bummer to lose by that close.
It's a very close race.
I wouldn't say otherwise.
The claim here that 60,000 people voted illegally seems highly dubious to me.
And the fact that the Republican Supreme Court Republican majority is now going to get to select whether or not they can choose another Republican for their majority also seems a little sketchy.
Well, first, on the question of whether the North Carolina Supreme Court is going to make a decision, there's an appeal to the U.S. Fourth Circuit on the decision to send it back.
So we've got to wait and see which court actually ends up with jurisdiction of the case.
But you have to remember, this is a game plan.
And you mentioned the things that Trump and the Republicans learned from 2020. And that is, you don't go into court with crazy theories and a weak crew of lawyers.
And so this has been teed up well before the no-score election to go in and challenge certain categories of voters that...
They arguably, at least according to the complaint, weren't eligible to vote.
And so, you know, on the one hand, you don't want to see rioters in the street like we saw on January 6th, four years ago.
But we also want, if there are legitimate legal questions, to let the court system play out.
And I was talking to the professor at Harvard, Stephen Levisky, who writes about sort of...
You know, Democratic backsliding.
And he said this thing that stuck with me, which is just that fundamentally this kind of consensus about the loser conceding, this consensus about peaceful transfer of power, it's just a difficult consensus to reform once it gets torn apart, and particularly unilaterally, right?
chris hayes
Like, Democrats can't make Republicans buy into that consensus, even if they model the behavior themselves as they did on January 6th yesterday.
unidentified
No, exactly.
It's like putting together back again the omelet back into the eggs once you...
steve bannon
It's Wednesday, 8th January, Year of the Lord, 2025. I want to thank the great previous hour, the War of Me and the second hour.
Mike Davis joins us.
Mike, thanks for coming back.
You were on this morning.
This North Carolina situation, and this is what I want to make sure when people are thinking, joining Article 3, these elections for Supreme Court justices and judges...
We've seen what happened in Wisconsin and other places.
Mike, you're dealing with, although I don't think they're directly elected, you're dealing with a situation in New York that's total madness.
Walk me through what's happening in North Carolina, because like I said, a million votes, millions of votes cast, I think 4 million votes, millions of votes counted or cast, and it's down to a couple of hundred that separate these two, but they're challenging 60,000 ballots.
What's going on?
mike davis
So the Democrat governor of North Carolina appointed Allison Riggs to the North Carolina Court of Appeals when another Democrat got elevated to the Supreme Court.
And then when there was a retirement, the Democrat governor appointed Allison Riggs to the North Carolina Supreme Court very recently, like last year.
Very, very, very liberal.
She is a partisan Democrat voting rights litigator, right?
And so we just had an election in 2024, and she pretends like she won this election by 734 votes.
What they're leaving out is they let 60,000 ballots get cast illegally because they did not provide Their driver's license number or the last four digits of their social security number.
So if you don't provide those, those ballots are not valid.
And that's the issue.
They're trying to claim a win with 60,000 illegally cast ballots of people who can't provide a driver's license or the last four digits of their social security number.
The Democrats...
The Democrat operatives are trying to ignore this and just certify her election, and the Supreme Court of North Carolina has correctly said, wait, wait, wait.
We need to resolve this legal issue of whether these 60,000 ballots are lawfully cast or not.
steve bannon
So what is the probability that we could – tell me – walk me through the process of how we actually get – Get these tossed.
I mean, where does this thing stand right now?
Because obviously the Democrats want it because of the 60,000 that don't have identification.
I would assume 99.9% of those or 95% of those are Democrat votes.
So this will turn out not to even be that close a race.
What's the process of doing this?
mike davis
Yeah, it's very hard.
Maybe Joe Biden didn't give them Social Security numbers when he gave them the CBP1 app and mass imported them from South America.
But yeah, there's a problem there.
If you can't come up with the last four digits of your Social Security number or a driver's license, you may not be here legally.
Maybe that's the problem.
So the issue is that the North Carolina Supreme Court is going to decide.
This issue, if they actually follow the law, they're going to say these 60,000 ballots that were illegally cast don't count.
And I presume that Allison Riggs is going to go back to being a left-wing partisan litigator trying to rig and steal elections for Democrats again.
steve bannon
Mike, where do people go for Article 3 now more than ever?
You're one of the major outside groups.
And both of those were born.
Remember, the war room came up.
Because of impeachment, nobody, the first impeachment, people weren't taking it seriously.
I was kind of laughed and mocked at, and I said, guys, Nancy Pelosi's doing this.
This is why she put so much effort in winning the 18 midterm to make herself speaker.
She's going to impeach a guy.
We started in, I think, late September, early October of 2019 as an outside group for the news because Fox wasn't covering, nobody's covering it.
I know Article 3 the same way, and you're heroic.
You were there for the first, I mean, the very first time on the...
Mar-a-Lago raid, on that afternoon, you were lit on the show and laying down what the Justice Department was doing, then the Supreme Court nomination, because on the inside, in the first term, you were the driving force in back of the confirmations, and now you've been such a great help.
But I want people to join Article III more than ever.
You're not going into being a viceroy for a reason.
The reason is President Trump needs support on the outside, and you're one of his fiercest defenders.
mike davis
I would say a Warpath whiskey.
I still want it, Steve.
I would say this.
I broke every piece of China in the Senate the last time.
There's no more China left for me to break in the Senate.
So I started the Article III project.
And the War Room Posse has been key to our success.
When we go to Article III projects.
You can donate there.
You can follow us on social media.
The most important thing the War Room Posse does is take action, including lighting up both of their home state senators and telling them to support President Trump's very qualified cabinet picks, like Pete Hegseth, like Tulsi Gabbard, like Kash Patel.
The president doesn't tell senators who's going to be on their staffs, and the Senate shouldn't tell the president.
Who's going to be on the president's staff so long as they're qualified?
It doesn't matter whether the Senate has a personality conflict or a policy disagreement.
The president won.
He won a mandate.
He got 312 electoral votes.
He won the popular vote.
He gets to have his team.
So vote to confirm his cabinet picks as quickly as possible.
The war room posse has already given them an attitude adjustment on Pete Hegseth and Cash Vittel and Tulsi Gabbard.
And so we are well on our way to a very successful second term for President Trump.
steve bannon
Mike, thank you, brother.
Appreciate you.
mike davis
Thank you.
steve bannon
Mike Davis, Article 3. Grace and Moe, if we can push that out throughout the chat room, the chat room can push it out.
Birchgold.com, I think today, and I'm going to get into it, we're going to go from Turkey to Rome to Colonel Mills about Korea.
Todd Benz is going to join us about Chicago.
The chaos is going to take place there because we're now on the Glide Slope Indicator.
For landing it, landing the plane on Inauguration Day, but that's really the beginning of the really tough stuff.
You think we've had it hard before?
You haven't seen anything yet.
Birchgold.com, End of the Dollar Empire.
This is Modern Monetary Theory.
We need you to get up to speed on that.
Also, the other five free installments, all free.

I am speaking, and in fact, Mo, if we can't get it up now, I want to put that up on my getter tonight.
I'm speaking in Denton, Texas, on the first Saturday after the inauguration.
I'm going down there for the Lincoln and Reagan Day dinner.
It's going to be a pretty big crowd.
We want as many people as possible there.
I get to meet everybody and give you a few words of encouragement.
How about that?
Maybe best after dinner, before dinner.
Might lose your appetite.
Might yell and scream so much.

I want to go to Turkey.
One of the great friends of the show, friends of Andrew Breitbart, been with us a long time since the beginning of the show, Jason Jones, is in Turkey.
Jason, before I get to this amazing piece you wrote, because you're one of the smartest writers I know, and it's up over at Stream, I've got to ask you, what in the hell are you doing in Turkey?
I mean, isn't this the...
I thought that we got...
You know, Tom Barrack, thank God, has been announced as the new ambassador.
Tom is a...
Close friend of President Trump and actually served, I think, two weeks in prison where they're trying to put Tom into prison permanently.
A very brave, courageous guy.
He's going to be the ambassador.
You've got Erdogan, the Muslim Brotherhood.
They're talking about the recreation of the Ottoman Empire, the caliphate.
I don't want to have you thrown in chains, but why are you in Turkey, brother?
jason jones
Well, you just named all the reasons why I'm here, Steve Bannon.
No, I'm here.
I'll be in the Middle East for the next month.
Visiting and meeting with persecuted Christian communities across the Middle East and also other ethnic and religious minorities that have been suffering genocide.
So I'll be here through the inauguration.
I was hoping to make it back to the inauguration.
I just don't think that's going to happen.
But my organization, the Vulnerable People Project, has been advocating for Christians in the Middle East since before the invasion of Iraq in 2003. And we anticipated the tragedy that would result from our invasion.
And our subsequent withdrawal.
So we've been advocating for the Christians in Iraq and Syria and across the Middle East for over two decades.
And so that's why I'm here.
steve bannon
Is it now, you know, the Persians are on their back foot because IDF's military really taken on the Persian army proxies with Hezbollah, their proxy armies down in southern Lebanon.
We've had the collapse of Syria, though, in the interim.
That neighborhood's more dangerous than it's ever been.
There's obviously a big resistance and any more American involvement in Syria.
And I know that's even going to get more intense with the America First guys after President Trump takes the oath of office in less than two weeks.
But the thing I keep saying is the most serious is Erdogan is a very serious guy.
Anybody who doesn't think he's serious has missed the plot here.
Turkey is a major powerhouse.
Economy's not quite working out right now.
Turkish people, great people.
A powerful country, NATO ally, could be an industrial powerhouse, never quite totally pulled it together.
But the Ottoman Empire basically was the caliphate of Islam, I don't know, for 1,000 years, 500, 750 years, 1,000 years.
These people have a lot of pride.
There are people around Erdogan, and it's infested with the Muslim Brotherhood.
That are still very upset about World War I, very upset about the British coming in and supporting the Arabs, T.E. Lawrence, really the loss of the Ottoman Empire.
They are maniacally focused on the recovery of that empire, the reestablishment of the caliphate, and really the taking over the two holy sites of Mecca and Medina.
How is that project proceeding, sir?
And particularly given the fact that they're going to be the major player in Syria, are they not?
jason jones
Well, and that's the reason I'm here.
Yeah, Iran kind of burned all of its bridges in Syria.
They were ham-fisted and aggressive, and the Syrian people feel very disrespectful.
Traditionally, Iran and Turkey played a role in protecting ethnic and religious minorities, and that's one of the reasons I'm here, Steve.
First of all, you're very popular.
I bring you up—I've been meeting with a lot of very influential people, and I bring up—when I brought your name up— I get a lot of big smiles, and they say he's a great American.
And so that kind of surprised me, especially after a tweet I saw last week.
But you're very popular here.
And my message to the folks that I've been meeting in the Turkish sort of power structure has been, you need to be stewards of the vulnerable ethnic and religious communities that flowered in this region for 2,000 years.
We have seen the absolute decimation of the ancient Christian communities.
We've seen it in Iraq.
We've seen it in Syria.
We're seeing it in Gaza.
We're seeing it in the West Bank.
We're seeing it in Lebanon.
And so we need partners in the region.
And I would like to see a Middle East that prioritizes protecting the ethnic and religious communities of this region, because most folks, I think, in the United States don't know how diverse.
steve bannon
But hang on, correct me if I'm wrong, but Syria, particularly the first crusade, it wasn't really Jerusalem.
It never really got traction there.
And the Holy Land was always, really, if you look at everything, it's Old Testament and the life of Christ.
post that, isn't Syria more of a home of Christianity than Israel was?
I mean, Syria with Damascus and Antioch, I mean, that was the homeland of Christianity.
Yeah, it's our Holy Land.
jason jones
It is the Holy Land.
And Syria is a beautiful country.
It's striking to me how many Christians in the West don't know and don't understand that Syria is a Christian country.
There are Christian communities in Syria and Iraq that have been there since the very first century.
And we are really facing the possibility of the complete extinction of these ancient Christian communities.
So our organization, the Vulnerable People Project, you know, we're trapped in the middle of this.
Our mission, we were founded to leverage influence, wealth, and power in the West to advocate for these vulnerable ethnic and religious communities, but especially the Christian communities, those first century Christian communities.
And if we're going to get into my article on Elon Musk, you know, we're seeing in India.
We have a first-century Christian church in India that's being decimated.
And one state alone, out of 340 churches in the past 12 months, 280 were burned down.
And the church in the West doesn't even notice this.
When there's a fire at Notre Dame Cathedral, we pay attention.
But when 280 churches are destroyed, we don't seem to notice.
There have been churches destroyed this year in Lebanon, in Gaza, in Syria.
Going back to the first, second, and third century.
And this is a great catastrophe.
And I'm a Catholic, and this is the mystical body of Christ.
And I feel a personal responsibility as a Christian in the West, and I'm so grateful that I can be on really the most influential political podcast in the world, Stephen Bannon's The War Room, to advocate for my brothers and sisters in Christ in the Middle East that are suffering terribly.
But those of us in the West, those of us, especially in the United States and the United Kingdom, are in a position to leverage our influence on their behalf and to make sure that they're protected.
unidentified
And that's why I'm in the region now.
steve bannon
It would help if we had the Catholic Church sending a cardinal to Washington as the ambassador that is going to be up in President Trump's grill about sanctuary cities, about the deportations.
That's why Francis is sending him.
But you don't hear a peep, really, out of Vatican about the Catholic Church in Syria or in Iraq.
And you certainly don't hear it from the Protestant.
I mean, some Protestant groups are doing it, but you don't hear it preached from the pulpit every Sunday, sir.
jason jones
Actually, a very powerful person in Turkey I was meeting with today, I brought your name up, said, isn't this the man, the Catholic man that challenges the Pope?
I said, it is.
You should read the article I wrote five years ago that Steve Bannon and I know.
And, you know, it is heartbreaking to me that, you know, Pope Francis went to Iraq.
He was able to go to Iraq thanks to President Trump's policies.
While you were there, Steve, those policies saved the Iraqi Christian community from complete ethnic cleansing and destruction, saved the Yazidi community, the proto-Semitic people.
Abraham came out of him.
So, Kurds, Arabs, and Jews descend from the Yazidi.
They were facing complete annihilation, but thanks to President Trump, Pope Francis was able to go to Iraq safely.
No thank you for that.
And you know, Steve, I don't know if you remember this, in 2016, I was almost, don't hate me world, almost a never-Trumper.
I was a Ted Cruz guy, I was very bitter, and you laughed at me and said, you don't get him.
If you got him, you'd appreciate him.
And you were right.
And if it wasn't for President Trump, we would have seen the oldest Christian communities in the world erased from the planet Earth.
And Pope Francis couldn't even say thank you.
steve bannon
He's not, you know, Trump is not a churchy guy, but he's done more to support the Christian faith than any president we've had, including Bush, who was an evangelical Christian, and Jimmy Carter, an evangelical Christian.
But I will not talk bad about the dead.
We've got to bounce back.
I've got to get to this article.
Because Jason Jones can bring the heat when he focuses on something.
Talk to me about this article about Elon.
jason jones
Well, you know, I was incensed when I saw Vivek Ramaswamy and Elon Musk take the position they took on the H-1 visa, especially because of my work in India.
You know, when Vivek said that, you know, we're leaving talent on the table and we're not fully, you know, engaging with our human resources or blah, blah, blah, you know, in India.
First of all, most of these that come to receive H1 visas, almost all of them, 100% of them, are from the Brahmin caste.
India has a brutal caste system.
There are 210 million Dalits trapped in this brutal caste that forbids them access to good jobs, good education, full resources of the state.
And talk about leaving human capital on the table, creativity, ingenuity, intelligence on the table.
steve bannon
But Modi has tried to break that.
I mean, he's the first what they call reverse caste.
I mean, he's the first guy not from the Brahmins.
I mean, the Ghandis and the Nairus, everybody that went back.
It was like the Bushes and the Clintons for decades went back and forth and changed the government between these families or these factions.
We're all Brahmins.
Modi is the first of the...
Of the lower caste that actually come to high political office, has he not?
jason jones
Yes, even I would say that those from the Brahmin caste have been the greatest advocates for the Dalits, and I commend them for that.
But that being said, I want to see the tech Brahmins fight for the Dalit, fight for the Christians, fight for the Christians in India the way you fought to give a job that could go to my child.
An internship at Google, the way you fought and spoke out, or as Elon Musk said, he's willing to fight till the—what did he say, Steve?
He's willing to take it to the mattresses on this H-1 visa battle.
And what frustrated me about Elon specifically, and that's why I brought the heat, as you said in this article, is, Elon, I commend you for speaking up against the rape gangs in England.
I commend you in London.
I commend you for that.
And the way you talked about these H1 visas, Steve, 80%-- and this is another issue that VPP will work hard on-- Eighty percent of the cobalt in the world goes to electric vehicles.
Eighty percent of the cobalt in the world is harvested in artesian mines by hand, by children.
Now, most of the cobalt that Tesla uses is ethically sourced.
Most.
But a large quantity is not.
And it creates this great demand.
I would like to see Elon Musk.
I compare him to Mrs. Jollibee in the great Charles Dickens novel.
I commend, I mean, I would challenge him to come on your show and be able to say this.
Elon Musk, put your money where your mouth is.
Fight to make sure all cobalt is ethically sourced.
Because right now, 80% of the cobalt in the world is being harvested unethically by Catholic children in the Congo.
And again, Pope Francis, that's something you could speak about.
There's Catholic children working to death, getting cancer, getting sick in these cobalt mines in Congo.
And Elon, this is something that you can personally do.
Also, this Orwellian credit system that we're seeing on X. You know, my writing partner...
Talk about someone who brings the heat, John Smirak.
John Smirak has never been brought back on X. It is not a free speech platform.
John Zmirak is still banned on X.
He was never brought back on X because of a tweet that he did against trans ideology.
And he's given up hope of ever being brought back on X.
We're seeing this Orwellian social credit system brought to X.
We're seeing, you know, Tesla creating this massive demand for unethically sourced cobalt.
And Elon has been great.
He's been one of the best voices in the world on the demographic decline.
And that's one place where he's put his money where his mouth is.
He has 12 kids.
I only have seven.
I commend Elon.
We're facing a demographic decline.
You are definitely doing your part.
I'd like to see him do his part with cobalt.
I'd like to see him follow.
What world do we live in?
I would like to see Elon Musk follow Zuckerberg's lead and recommitting himself to creating a free speech platform.
And then finally, we should recognize that Gen Z and Gen Alpha, who are big, Steve, you know, you're sort of the voice of that generation, Steve.
We should be fighting to give them opportunities, not abandoning them, not giving up on them.
We're responsible for their destiny.
Every generation of Americans said, for us and for our posterity.
And I feel like the baby boomers and Gen X have said, for us, thank you.
No, for our children, for our grandchildren, for our posterity.
They say we can't pick vegetables, we can't build houses, and now we can't work at Google.
Okay, what can we do?
We can drive Uber.
But soon, Uber will drive itself.
Don't worry, we'll have universal basic income for you.
That's the future they have for my children.
I have seven children, four grandchildren.
I'm going to fight for them.
steve bannon
Yeah, slavery.
Where do people go to get your content?
You're in a very bad neighborhood over in Turkey.
We don't know where you're going to go, so you'll surprise us.
We'll have you back on.
But where do people follow you, Jason, and get all your content?
jason jones
VulnerablePeopleProject.com.
You will be really surprised at the neighborhoods that I go and where we work.
VulnerablePeopleProject.com.
You can see the work we do.
My podcast, The Jason Jones Show, and I write for the stream.
steve bannon
Thank you, brother.
Appreciate you.
jason jones
Thank you, Steve Bannon.
steve bannon
I think what we're going to do is work towards a break.
I'm going to do a little, not a rant, but kind of put where we are.
I've got Benzman about Chicago.
Thank you, brother.
I've got Benzman about Chicago.
I've got the Ben Harnwell is joining us, and I'm going to try to get in Colonel Mills with updates on South Korea, this heroic thing that's happening.
John Kahn's going to take us out of the American heart.
Birch Gold, now more than ever.
Check it out.
We give you access.
When we take on a sponsor, we make sure that they commit to giving you access to the senior people.
Phillip Patrick does not come any better than Phillip and his team.
So go check it out today.
I think the morning show with EJ and Tony was a warning shot for folks.
There's a lot going on in the world geopolitically, geostrategically, geoeconomically.
We try to make sure we have a working class and middle class audience that is totally informed of that.
It'd be like we're giving briefings at the National Security Council or to corporate CEOs.
So take advantage of Birch Gold and plus all the free content, including the end of the dollar empire, modern monetary theory.
Yes, you too can understand it.
Maybe better than the guys on Wall Street.
Chase Medical, I don't want anybody to get caught short because I think we're heading to very difficult times with the Chinese Communist Party.
The writing is what we say on the wall.
They control the whole medical supply chain for your medicines.
Make sure you go to Jace Medical.
Dr. Sean Rollins and I have dedicated themselves to breaking that.
But you've got to take advantage of it.
Go to jacemedical.com, put in bandit, get a discount.
Do that today.
Johnny Kahn, this amazing song from the Tea Party movement, just really summarizes everything.
American Heart, short commercial break, going to Rome next.
unidentified
Welcome back.
steve bannon
Ben Harnwell joins us from Rome.
Ben, you've known Jason for a long time.
Jason Jones, another guy like Todd Bensman, hopefully get Todd before the end of the show.
Not sure if not we'll get Todd tomorrow.
These guys have gone to the Deering Gap, have done everything.
Jason Jones has been in and out of the Middle East, really trying to protect.
The remaining physical structures of the Catholic and Christian faith, but also the people.
And he goes in harm's way all the time.
It's like Tara Dahl of Real America's Voice.
These people are brave beyond brave.
They go to the worst places on earth where the worst wars are.
So to protect Christian communities is quite extraordinary.
Ben, you know Jason a lot.
He had comments.
He's in Turkey.
He's near Hag Sophia.
Sophia, if we have that, if Denver could put up that tweet, Rahim, I went to the Christmas dinner with my family, and Rahim joined us.
Sir Rahim joined us, and he took a photo.
My brother gave me a gift, kind of knowing my inclinations.
There it is.
We can just pull it up right there.
That's it.
I just held it up after a Christmas dinner, and I think my brother took the shot, and Rahim put it up on his Twitter.
Millions and millions of views.
It caused consternation in Turkey.
It was the talk show.
Free Constantinople.
Hey, I'm just saying.
I'm a First Crusade guy.
I admit it.
And I have tremendous respect for the Muslim faith.
I don't have any respect for radical Islam.
But the Muslim faith, you know, a billion people over a billion people would adhere to it.
Mostly peaceful.
The Sharia law, the Sharia ascendancy, the Sharia supremacy is something quite dangerous to the Judeo-Christian West, and we cannot allow that to take root anywhere, as it has in Europe.
Ben Harnwell, you've been fighting this fight at the forefront of it.
Give me your thoughts about Jason in Turkey and his comments on Rotherham in England, sir.
ben harnwell
Good evening, Steve.
Well, let me start off with your T-shirt, if I may.
I don't remember any...
Brief political slogan of those terms creating such a ruckus in the international sphere since Charles de Gaulle, the president of France, went to Quebec, if I'm not mistaken, and in Canada said, Viva le Quebec Libre, so that free, long-lived free Quebec, which obviously created a huge, similar antagonism throughout the Canadian establishment.
We could spend a whole two-hour show talking about why is it that the words free, in the sense of liberty, can strike such a resonance in the human heart.
And of course, Constantinople has a long pedigree within the Christian imagination.
And it's good that it does.
Have you mentioned the Hagia Sophia, that famous Orthodox temple since become a Muslim Islamic mosque?
I think it goes back to the third century.
And that, I think, is a metaphor for Europe's future.
I've said on this show repeatedly since I've been on this show for the last three or four years that I think it's Europe.
Europe won't make it through, I don't think.
I think we're going to have a very valiant fight.
Perhaps we'll preserve some...
Pockets of the Judeo-Christian West, but fundamentally the battle is lost.
And if we have something, if fate has given us something to do, it is, you know, like the Titanic bubbling under until the last moments.
We need to be saying to the United States, do not follow the path we have chosen because you get so far and it's very difficult to come back, like a boat with a hop.
With a breach beneath the waterline and it's leading in water, you get to a point you can pump some of the water out and you can keep that going.
But once the water comes in too fast, it's very, very difficult.
Steve, it's very, very, very difficult through ordinary democratic means.
But America's not there.
And if President Trump fulfills the promise that he said in the election campaign to instigate, institute mass deportations, America will have a very bright future ahead of it.
So going to Jason Jones and Syria specifically, look, he mentioned quite so many things I just want to pick up on.
Firstly, Syria.
I don't know whether the, I mean, I know that the war in Posse has a very strong evangelical base, and I correspond with a lot of people via messages, direct messages and what have you, on Geta.
And there's a huge proponent there that likes to read scripture, especially in the original Greek, if possible, something I like to do myself.
The language that our Lord spoke back in the first century was pretty much three languages, Hebrew, Greek and Aramaic, and with a smattering of Latin being the dominant power of that bridge.
There's only one place on earth that I'm aware of, Steve, where they still speak Aramaic, which is the familial, the day-to-day language spoken in Galilee.
And that's in Syria.
The Christian community there, and I know Syrians, some of them have sought refuge here in Italy.
The Christian community in Syria speaks Aramaic, and that is the language that our Lord spoke, that the apostles spoke.
And I don't think there will be any Christians, any believing Christians, people who believe in Jesus Christ today, that will ponder that fact.
And not be moved.
That is the only remnant of a community on earth that has nurtured that language and still speaks as a day-to-day language, Aramaic, in Syria.
And that's the plight.
steve bannon
Hang on.
When Mel Gibson made The Passion of the Christ, remember, that's in Aramaic, the language of Christ.
And those guys had biblical scholars, you know, hundreds of them working on the script.
So the Passion of the Christ is in Aramaic.
It's subtitled, but the language you hear, obviously the Romans are speaking Latin, you have the Pharisees, etc.
But the people, and particularly Christ, Christ's voice is in Aramaic.
And the only community in the world that's in Aramaic is up in Syria.
Now, I'm not an interventionist, but I'm also not for the destruction of the Catholic and Christian church.
Syria is the home.
We're a desert church.
We're a desert church.
And between Egypt and Syria, it just didn't take root.
It just didn't get traction in Jerusalem.
Remember, I think they left James in charge.
It just never took root.
It was really Syria and with Saul and then became St. Paul that went to Rome and spread it to Rome.
But Egypt in the first century, first two centuries, the church is Egypt and Syria.
And of course, North Africa.
St. Augustine is a Berber, right?
People keep talking about the racism of Christianity.
Well, that's interesting because all the men and women coming out of the first century that left a mark and really took Christianity from a very small sect in Jerusalem or in Judea at the time and made it a global religion.
The first wave were people in the Middle East and North Africa, Ben Harnwell.
ben harnwell
See, St. Augustine.
My favourite philosopher, my favourite theologian, all in one person.
Look, this is a fascinating story about Christianity.
It is a mixture, ruled by the Holy Spirit, ruled by God himself.
It is a mixture of various influences.
You know, the one thing I actually support and liked about Pope Benedict, very little of it really, but the one point was that he insisted on the fact that Christianity is not an abstract religion.
But it is incarnated, not just, obviously, in Jesus Christ, but in a specific culture, specific set of cultures at a specific point in human history.
And one of those, of course, was Greek culture and Greek philosophy.
But, you know, you have all of these influences together.
And guess what?
Thanks to the Holy Spirit, the final Christian message, as it emerged by, I suppose, the close of prayer in the end of the first century, how it was so powerful, so potent.
It resonated with every single human heart that it encountered.
And that's how it spread.
Christianity spread because heart to heart, it was a flaming, you know, you have all this symbology of Christians of a heart, a flame.
That's how Christianity spread.
It didn't spread by the sword.
We can name other religions that spread by the sword.
Christianity didn't because it's a religion of love.
The reason why it's failing today is because it has departed from that message of 2,000 years ago.
It has entered politics.
It has entered politics of an extreme left-wing variety.
And here we talk about Cardinal McElroy, recently nominated for Washington, D.C. And I have to applaud what Jason said earlier on in the show.
It's disgusting.
That President Trump did so much to protect the...
And I'm not an interventionist like you, Steve.
President Trump did so much to defend our brethren around the world.
And that disgusting imposter in Rome who calls himself a pope never publicly thanked him.
That is disgusting, Steve.
That is absolutely outrageous and disgusting.
I am a Catholic.
My Catholic faith is the most important thing to me in my life.
And I will say on this show...
That no Catholic should give that man any credence whatsoever.
He is an enemy to the Catholic faith.
steve bannon
Tomorrow maybe we'll do it.
I know we're going to do Elon and Rotham.
We'll get to that tomorrow.
But I want to leave this with – I just gave an interview to The Guardian about McElroy.
I mean this is Francis throwing down hard in a direct challenge to President Trump.
This is going to explode next week.
Or ten days, two weeks from now when the deportations start.
You watch.
We're in a collision course with that aspect of the Catholic Church that is, I think, anti-Catholic.
I've got to bounce, Ben.
Where do people get your writings, Oliver?
We're going to have you back on tomorrow.
We've got so much more to drill down on.
And I want to say something.
As you know, we've got the greatest respect for President Trump here.
We're the Trump platform to support him.
But no offense.
You know, free Constantinople, if we put it back up, if the guys put it back.
Free Constantinople, now that's a heavy lift.
Okay, that's a heavy lift.
Greenland and Panama, come on, man.
Canada, come on, President Trump, you got to step it up here, man.
That's a, I know President Trump can't do that because of the geopolitical situation, the Turks as an ally, all of it.
But Greenland, Canada, Panama, the Panama Canal, yeah.
Free Constantinople, that's a lift.
Ben Harnwell, thank you so much.
Where's the social media?
Where do people go get you?
ben harnwell
On Getter at Harnwell.
Steve, I have to close, right?
I have to close with this heck of...
The Catholic Church, Cardinal McElroy, Pope Francis want to oppose Donald Trump on the mass deportations.
I have three words.
unidentified
Bring it on.
ben harnwell
Bring it on.
You do your worst, Catholic Church.
steve bannon
Bring it on.
Tomorrow we'll get into this.
This is going to be another explosive thing, folks.
And maybe we'll tie it with Todd Bensman's situation in Chicago.
Okay, Ben, thank you.
And thank you for staying up so late tonight to be with us.
ben harnwell
God bless, Steve.
unidentified
It's always a pleasure.
steve bannon
You know, Ben and his cats.
Ben and his cats.
You know, the cats, of course, the welfare of the cats come first.
Like Moe's welfare, the dogs come first.
Chris Hoare joins us.
Chris, thank you, brother, for coming back.
What do you got for us today?
We've had...
The show has been...
All throughout all three hours now to now talking about, quite frankly, the geopolitical situation, the domestic situation President Trump's stepping into.
I compare it to the late 1930s where this world is in a mess and it's going to put a huge burden on the president.
What do you got for us?
chris hoar
Well, Steve, I think you're absolutely right there.
Unfortunately, today is also a mess in California for millions of people out there.
The fires are out of control.
We have four major wildfires burning in Southern California and 100,000 people under mandatory evacuation.
Steve, it's a terrible situation.
My good friend Corinne Clifford sent me some video last night as she was fleeing her place in Pacific Palisades.
Luckily, she had her sat phone and her other survival equipment with her ready to go.
So she was able to communicate.
But look, we saw this, Steve, in Maui, just how important it is to have independent communications such as sat phones.
And we are based in San Diego, as you know.
So look, we are able to deliver a satellite phone and satellite internet equipment to Los Angeles.
We're not price gougers, as you know.
We are consistent with our offers, especially through Warren Posse.
We are maintaining, through this difficult time, a free satellite phone and a free bulletproof backpack with activation.
And you can call us or go to sat123.com forward slash Bannon.
That's sat123.com forward slash Bannon.
But Steve, our The cell phones are the only thing that's working in a lot of L.A. right now.
As you can imagine, the cell phone and the power grids are really under heavy strain and are down in many areas.
And that could continue.
Unfortunately, these fires are just getting started at 6,000 acres.
But being prepared is the only way to...
steve bannon
Can we put the footage back up?
Chris, I've got a family that's in Pacific Palisades.
It's an inferno.
Look at that footage right there.
The footage has been unbelievable.
Look at that.
It's stunning.
And this came out of nowhere.
It started yesterday at 10. The winds have kicked up, and it's just kind of a normal winter windstorm.
The winds have kicked up, I think, to almost 100 miles an hour, but they've been averaging 50. Have you ever been in 50-mile-an-hour winds on the sea or the ship?
I mean, it is blowing.
And this thing came out of nowhere.
That's why these satellite phones, we keep telling people, it's not just a great backup.
Now more than ever, you need to have access to it.
But when something like this happens, Chris, people yesterday, remember the biggest problem is people were trying to flee because in Palisades, it's very tight.
The streets are tiny.
It's an old school.
This is where Ronald Reagan used to live.
It's probably one of the most beautiful and nicest of what were at one time just middle-class neighborhoods.
Now the houses all cost so much because real estate's gone up.
You got a lot of Hollywood stars there.
But this is kind of really a very homey community.
The village of Pacific Palisades is very homey.
This came out of nowhere, and the streets are so tiny and so old from the 20s and 30s that, Chris, people were just stopping the cars because the traffic is so backed up and fleeing for their lives.
But they took the keys out of their car, and then you had to bring the bulldozers in to push stuff to the side.
So this is a horrible tragedy.
And that's why you need these satellite phones just in case.
Once again, Chris, walk through the offer because I want to make sure everybody gets access to them and you guys can deliver them right away.
chris hoar
Yeah, Steve, it's a free satellite phone and a free bulletproof backpack with activation.
That's nearly a $1,200 savings, Steve, and you're getting 150 minutes a month.
They roll over if you don't use them.
And you can call any other phone, Steve, not just another sat phone, but a cell phone, landline, whatever it is.
There's a button on there you can press if you need emergency assistance.
And people have been using that button in the last 24 hours, as you can imagine.
But, Steve, if you don't have a way to communicate and you are stuck, you are literally dead in the water.
Unfortunately.
And, you know, we're already starting to hear about the first deaths that these fires have caused.
And sadly, I think there'll be many more.
And our prayers and thoughts are with all of those who've been affected or in harm's way.
But look, the number one way to not be a victim is to be ready and be prepared.
So sat123.com forward slash Bannon, you get your free phone and your free bulletproof backpack with activation.
195 bucks a month is all it costs.
And we can get these phones and these satellite Internet units to people in L.A. County.
As soon as today, Steve, just call us at 941-841-0844.
That's 941-841-0844.
But having these phones is saving lives today, and you want to make sure that you're ready should this horrible situation happen to you.
steve bannon
Chris, thank you so much.
I appreciate you.
I appreciate you doing this.
Let's get on that right now.
Let's get it in the chyron.
Grace and Mo, push it out in the chat rooms.
Very, very, very important.
John Mills, thank you.
Any update?
We want all of our brothers and sisters of South Korea to know we got their back.
There's a horrible situation.
There's essentially a coup d'etat underway, driven by the Chinese Communist Party.
And South Korea is a major ally just throughout the world, but they're a major ally in East Asia.
We have 28,000 troops in South Korea.
We have naval installations, Air Force installations.
John, you got an update for us?
unidentified
Yeah, Steve, thank you.
Essentially, they're going to try to arrest Yoon again.
Probably Friday their time, which would really put it late Thursday afternoon East Coast time.
So expect that.
And in the first segment I'd shown, it's all about the Hanam area of Seoul.
That's where that enclave, including the new presidential residences, that's where the action is at.
And these are uncharted waters.
They do have a written constitution, but a lot of what's going on, it is just sheer...
Raw, unadulterated power play by the Democrat Party to essentially seize power.
And again, a lot of people don't understand the reason for the president to declare martial law, which is in the Constitution, was so that he could conduct a raid of the National Election Commission back in early December.
The National Election Commission is on par with maybe Fulton County, Georgia, as far as trustworthiness.
Because this is how the DP, the Democrat Party, essentially seized control of the National Assembly.
So we are teetering on the brink, and North Korea has moved.
This is always, when I was in Korea as an intelligence officer, the number one indicator was when North Korea moved its artillery out of its underground shelters into the firing positions.
That's what's going on right now.
steve bannon
John Mills, you're giving constant updates on your social media.
Where do people go for this?
We're going to have more on it tomorrow.
We're covering this story, and I'll be up on Getter moment by moment.
Once again, our brothers and sisters in Korea, we love you guys.
The most Christian of all the nations in East Asia.
Just incredible people.
Incredibly brave.
They've been with us from the beginning.
And you can see the Chinese Communist Party is trying to make their move.
So, John, I know you're putting up great content.
Where do people go?
unidentified
Now, thank you, Steve.
