We interrupt this program to bring you a special news bulletin.
The Japanese have attacked Pearl Harbor, Hawaii by air, President Roosevelt has just announced.
The attack also was made on all naval and military activities on the principal island of Ohio.
The Symphony No.
1 in F minor, by the modern Russian composer Shostakovich, performed as the opening work on this afternoon's telemonic program, Artur Roginski conducting.
Japan has attacked Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, and Manila, the Philippine Islands, from the air.
The attack is developing.
Today, Dean Staley's usual commentary will be replaced by a further report on the Far Eastern situation.
We pause now for 15 seconds.
This is the Columbia Broadcasting System.
This is WCCO Studios in Minneapolis and St. Paul.
The Twin City temperature 37 degrees.
This is John Daly speaking from the CBS newsroom in New York.
Here is the Far East situation as reported to this moment.
The Japanese have attacked the American naval base at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, and our defense facilities at Manila, capital of the Philippines.
The first disclosure of this news was made by Presidential Secretary Stephen Early by telephone at approximately 2.25 in Washington.
I read the text of this historic announcement at a little after 2.30.
The Japanese have attacked Pearl Harbor from the air and all naval and military activities on the island of Ohau, the principal American base in the Hawaiian Islands.
That was Secretary Early's message.
Short while later, he dictated another message.
A second air attack has been reported.
This one has been made on the Army and Navy bases in Manila.
And here's a last-minute Associated Press flash from Honolulu.
A naval engagement is in progress off Honolulu with at least one black enemy aircraft carrier in action against the Pearl Harbor defenses.
Hello, NBC.
Hello, NBC.
This is KTU in Honolulu, Hawaii.
I am speaking from the roof of the Advertiser Publishing Company building.
We have witnessed this morning the distant view, a great battle off Pearl Harbor and a severe bombing off Pearl Harbor by enemy planes, undoubtedly Japanese.
The city of Honolulu has also been attacked and considerable Vice
President, Mr. Speaker, members of the Senate, of the House of Representatives, yesterday, December 7th, 1941, a date which will live in infamy.
The United States of America was suddenly and deliberately attacked by naval and air forces of the Empire of Japan.
The United States was at peace with that nation and at solicitation of Japan, still in conversation with its government and its emperor, looking toward the maintenance of peace in the Pacific.
Indeed, One hour after Japanese air squadrons had commenced bombing in the American island of Oahu, the Japanese ambassador to the United States and his colleague delivered to our Secretary of State a formal reply to a recent American message.
And while this reply stated that it seemed useless to continue the existing diplomatic negotiations, it contained no threat or hint of war or of armed attacks.
It will be recorded that the distance of Hawaii from Japan Makes it obvious that the attack was deliberately planned many days or even weeks ago.
During the intervening time, the Japanese government has deliberately sought to deceive the United States by false statements and expressions of hope for continued peace.
The attack yesterday on the Hawaiian Islands has caused severe damage to American naval and military forces.
I regret to tell you that very many American lives have been lost.
In addition, American ships have been reported torpedoed on the high seas between San Francisco and Honolulu.
This is the primal scream of a dying regime.
Pray for our enemies, because we're going medieval on these people.
steve bannon
I've got a free shot of all these networks lying about the people.
The people have had a belly full of it.
I know you don't like hearing that.
I know you try to do everything in the world to stop that, but you're not going to stop it.
It's going to happen.
jake tapper
And where do people like that go to share the big lie?
unidentified
Mega Media.
jake tapper
I wish in my soul, I wish that any of these people had a conscience...
unidentified
Ask yourself, what is my task and what is my purpose?
steve bannon
If that answer is to save my country, this country will be saved.

It's Saturday, 7 December in the year of our Lord, 2024.
We open with Pearl Harbor, finish their...
Slight technical problem, finishing with Ukraine and Syria.
As the arc of instability gets on fire, we're going to connect all these dots today.
Let's go back to December 7th of 1941. That's at dawn we slept.
America woke up at Pearl Harbor, but early in the afternoon you saw that historic, it was a concert, I think it was the Texaco-New York Philharmonic that went across the radio throughout the country that broke into and gave the nation the first one.
I think there was also National Football League games on radio that they broke into to give the nation the first heads up that Pearl Harbor had been attacked.
A lot of people didn't even know what Pearl Harbor was.
But just to go back, and this ties it back to Ukraine and Syria and Romania, where the election got canceled last night.
Ukraine, Ben Harner was going to be in from Rome in a second to talk about this.
Syria, I think Assad's family has left for Moscow.
In World War II in 1935, I think it was in Manchuria.
The Japanese Imperial Army started the land war against China in 1936. The Spanish Civil War.
1938 was Munich.
1939 was Poland.
1940, May of 1940, the fall of France.
France fell.
The great ally, France, had been so destroyed in World War I. We played yesterday, Pads of Glory.
The trench scene.
France fell in 1940. The Blitz in London started in 1940. In 1941, the Germans, in August, the Germans, excuse me, 1941, they signed a peace treaty, the Nazis and the Germans, and then in September, excuse me, in June of 1941, the Nazis...
Or 1940, they signed the peace treaty in 1941, the beginning of Operation Barbarossa, the attack of Russia by the Germans, and then, what, six months later, Pearl Harbor.
My point.
The war had been going on for six years, and we had kind of looked the other way and tried to avoid it.
And there's still controversy about Pearl Harbor, what we knew, what we didn't know.
If you notice there in that clip, Roosevelt talks about peace in the Pacific, about the Japanese and the encroaching Japanese Empire.
He did not declare war on Nazi Germany.
Adolf Hitler declared war on the United States, I think two days later on Wednesday.
And then we declared war on him and it was game on.
You have the beginning stages of World War III right now.
With Karen Sigmund and the great team over at AFA and, of course, Frank Gaffney with the Committee on the Present Danger in China, people like Dr. Bradley Thayer, Captain Jim Fennell, others.
We've been trying to warn people that, hey, you know, these things just don't happen overnight.
Although an attack on Pearl Harbor and people view it, oh, well, that's the start of World War II. No, World War II had been going on for five or six years.
If you go back and you read the papers, this is all process.
There's like a critical path associated with this.
And now we are more in danger of a major kinetic conflict spreading on the Eurasian landmass than any time even in the darkest days of the Cold War.
We have a million casualties.
You know, President Trump has said we have a million casualties of just the Ukrainian people, I believe.
President Trump was saying the other day at this talk with Russ Vogt's group that, you know, he didn't give any classified information on it, but he says, hey, if you see the real reports, the devastation is incredible.
A lot of the country looks like, as I keep referring to, Dresden in 1945 after the firebombing.
This is expanding and is starting to metastasize.
Ironically, President Trump is in Paris today as the leader and defender of the Judeo-Christian West at the historic rebirth of Notre Dame.
At the same time that the French government has fallen, the first time a French government fell like this since 1962, I think the beginning of what, the Fifth Republic they're on?
unidentified
Because of what?
steve bannon
Because of debt and because of the inability to figure out who's going to pay to start paying for this.
And these deficits, who's going to pay?
Le Pen and the populist nationalists say it's not going to come out of working class people.
And they want to pull back from the international institutions, the global institutions that Macron and his cronies have gotten the French people into.
They can't afford it anymore.
It's an empire they can't afford and they don't want to afford it.
They don't want to do it.
They got a big enough problem with the immigration poll out yesterday.
48% of people in France want to stop all immigration, all of it, not just from Muslim countries.
In the same week that in Great Britain, the number one name of new babies is Mohammed.
Now that's not to say you can't, and they don't have very solid British citizens that are Islamic.
What it's talking about is kind of this – what happened is this unfettered, uncontrolled immigration, first from the colonies and now as your betters in Europe just opened the floodgates.
This is what's happened here in the United States.
This is why President Trump and Viktor Orban are the defenders of the Judeo-Christian West.
What have we learned?
From 80-plus years ago, why does history turn the cycles?
Why – I'm a proponent of this – of the turnings, of the cyclical nature of American history.
It seems like every 80 to 100 years, we go through and we go through another crisis.
We go through some sort of major conflict and then the process starts over again.
Do we get any smarter?
I think if you look at history, it's almost a flat line of human character and human intelligence and human morals and values, almost a flat line slightly up, slightly on the ascendancy, generally, human nature, let's call it, with massive increase in technology.
And that technology, traditionally, for as much as it helps life get better and improves living standards, is also Cause almost a new dark age.
Shouldn't be lost in you.
And the guns of August, in August 1914, opened the curtain, the curtain raiser on the short 20th century that came down at Tiananmen Square and the fall of the Berlin Wall.
The short 20th century, the bloodiest century in mankind's history, the most barbaric century in mankind's history.
The 21st kicking off with a bang.
Short commercial break, back in a moment.

Here's your host, Stephen K. Van.
steve bannon
December 7th, 2024. We are going to get to President Trump's nominations.
I believe we have stabilized, this audience has stabilized the Pete Hexeth nomination for now.
I believe the Kash Patel nomination is going towards confirmation as we speak on the morning of 7 December.
I believe that Tulsi Gabbard is going to confirmation.
I believe that Robert F. Kennedy is going to confirmation.
At best, I think the forces of darkness will get one.
And if we do our job, they'll get none.
And I want to thank this crew for the incredible work You have done in the last 72 hours.
Once again, it gets right back to January of 2021, really in November, December 2020, fighting for the steel, fighting to expose the big steel.
2021, having President Trump's back from the beginning all the way through Election Day with a mass mobilization, just heroic.
And these confirmations are the easy part, but it's hard work.
I understand that.
And Pete Hexas was on the ropes the other day as they flooded the zone and quite frankly, do various things.
Let's be blunt.
The transition went exactly on top of things, to be blunt about it.
But this audience once again stood up, stood in the breach.
Charlie Kirk, fantastic.
Jack Posobiec, fantastic.
We are fighting for something more than just the daily in and out of the nitty gritty of politics and the nitty gritty of how this audience responds and has become a populist force.
As powerful as that is, as important as it is, you have to keep a bigger picture.
Number one, the throughput, the through line of President Trump is peace and prosperity.
Peace and prosperity.
And if he says peace, he means peace for all people.
And to stop these forever wars, particularly the forever wars that it seems like the apparatuses of the KGB and the CCP and the globalists in Davos and in Brussels and in Washington, D.C., the imperial capital seem maniacally focused on continuing on because in the charnel house are thrown the sons and daughters of the working class and middle class.
The elites in the world get the benefit, the monetary benefit of the arms and the economics.
And the average person pays the price.
To wit, Ukraine.
No better example.
Professor Mersheimer at the University of Chicago said this back in 2014. Ten years ago, over a decade ago, that the West, the elites in the West, are going to walk the Ukrainian people down the primrose path to a great and better future.
That will never happen.
And they will pay a catastrophic price for it.
And they have.
And now this war is spreading in the most, in historically, the most unstable, unstable place in the world.
That kind of arc from the bloodlands of Eastern Europe.
It's called the bloodlands for a reason.
If you read the history of Eastern Europe and that part of the Eurasian landmass, it is almost incomprehensible.
As a human, it is almost incomprehensible.
To read it – and I'm talking just the 20th century part of it with what happened in the Ukraine at the time with the Bolsheviks, what they did to the Ukrainian people, the starvation.
I think five million people were starved to death in the equivalent of Kansas.
Starved to death in the equivalent of Kansas having okay harvests.
And then, of course, the Holocaust.
But the Holocaust, as focused as that was on the Jews and the destruction of the Jewish people, in that part of the world, coming after groups was something that was second nature.
That's how evil...
You know, metastasizes.
And you look in the Balkans historically, and even take it from, you know, the time of the Crusades, always unstable, always that kind of, that area of friction between the Islamic world and the Judeo-Christian West.
And now you get down into Syria.
Remember, Syria, don't lose sight of this, folks.
Syria is really the ancient home of Christianity.
If you go back and read the Acts of the Apostles, it is a desert religion.
The early church fathers came out of North Africa in Egypt.
St. Augustine, our greatest of all the church fathers, I think was a Berber.
North Africa, people today that would be Muslim were the foundational elements of the intelligentsia of the Christian religion.
The city of God was written by an individual that was North African.
Syria was the center in the center.
Damascus and Antioch.
The Virgin Mary, we play when the man comes around, St. John the Evangelist wrote the magnificent fourth gospel of the New Testament, the gospel according to John, in Turkey.
Modern-day Turkey.
The Book of Revelation, if the majority of the historical scholars are correct, the Book of Revelations was written in Turkey.
Today, that is on fire.
We have the beginning stages of a kinetic part, not the run-up and the diplomatic and the economic and the disagreements.
That's all been playing.
And, you know, Foreign Affairs has got an article, got up on Getter.
Oh, what is to be done to break apart Russia and China?
President Trump's initial strategy coming in was to make sure that the KGB and the CCP, these two gangster elements did not merge together with the Mullahs in Persia.
To form a kind of iron triangle on the Eurasian landmass in three ancient societies, three ancient civilizations.
The Chinese, the Persian, and the Slavic.
That would form together, form an axis.
Oh yeah, and I went around in that movie called The Brink.
And I remember when it came out, some of the munchkins on the left, oh, he's throwing in Turkey.
Turkey's a NATO ally.
Yo, baby.
Homie don't think so.
You got Erdogan doing his own thing.
Erdogan wants to re-establish, wait for it, the Ottoman Empire.
These are civilizational struggles.
The central part of this strategy, the geopolitics of it, was kind of reverse Nixon.
Never allow Russia and China to work together as one unit on the Eurasian landmass.
Because then you've got Mackinder 101, you got Speakman 101, and you got Mahan 101, and we are in trouble.
And this is not trying to build an American empire.
This is not going over for monsters to slay.
And so here we are.
And President Trump, magnificently, on the 7th of December of 2024, is in Notre Dame, is there today.
As the leader of the Judeo-Christian West.
Because you know what?
There's nobody in Europe that can do that.
Germany, a disaster and a joke.
Macron, a disaster.
Nigel Farage, the one leader, and he's fighting to take over the Tory party and try to make those wimps into something.
On the Judeo-Christian West in Europe, you have Viktor Orban in Hay.
Hungary, magnificent.
Stand up there.
But Hungary is essentially the equivalent of North Carolina.
The size.
They punch way above their weight because Orban's a leader.
We are getting sucked in.
This is the lines of work.
Number one, you have the Third World War and Trump's getting boxed in every day.
Biden and these guys are over at the White House every night with the midnight oil burning.
What are they doing?
They're not sitting there trying to tamp down the kinetic part of the Third World War to give Trump at least some runway he can do some things.
No.
What they're doing is working on blanket preemptive pardons.
If that's a new concept to you, that's okay because it's a new concept to anybody.
After telling us that we're terrible and we're evil and we need to be in prison and we need to be bankrupt and we're the worst people in the world, these demons are either fleeing the country to Europe or the Cotswolds in England, you pick it, Italy, or they're working on giving themselves blanket preemptive pardons so that all their crimes are covered.
And they can't be brought to justice as they're exacerbating the Third World War so Trump has no room to maneuver.
They're playing around with the balance sheet of the United States, playing around right now so that Trump's got even a more difficult time to unwind this, to deleverage this thing.
And they're causing all kinds of problems, trying to cause all kinds of problems with the 15 million illegal aliens they allowed here on their watch.
I'm not concerned right now about the people who came in before.
Because we're going to have the largest mass deportation and how we're going to pull it off, who knows.
I know people are working on it.
I got my ideas.
Other people, their ideas.
But it's going to be a heavy lift.
And if you think somebody's going to wave a magic wand and 15 million people are just going to get up and get on a trailways bus and head south, folks, you are most decidedly incorrect.
So that's where we stand.
And let me tell you, If you talk to the Marines, the guys in the Navy, the aviators, the Marines that went to Guadalcanal and Peleliu and Terawa, the 8th Air Force over Europe, the folks that hit the beach in Normandy, the guys were in North Africa, and you had told them that 80 plus years from the time they gave the ultimate sacrifice...
On every corner of the earth we would be in this shape today and our society would be in this shape today.
They would tell you what in the hell are we doing this for?
They sacrificed everything for us.
I think we would have the common decency to sort this mess out.
Short break.
unidentified
All very proud of what we have done together.
Last year, President Macron appointed Philippe Jost to lead the team restoring Notre Dame.
Two weeks ago, we met him just inside what was still an active construction zone.
What words come to mind when you first walk in?
The light.
The light is very breathtaking and the space.
In this monument there is a soul.
A soul.
A soul.
And we feel that when we enter now, we feel that.
To walk into Notre Dame today is to see no sign of 2019. Then, the cathedral's nave was littered with burnt wood and stone rubble, a gaping hole in the ceiling where the flaming spire crashed through.
Even when we visited in 2023, a dense forest of scaffolding remained.
Now it is open and airy.
Every stone shines.
Every stained glass window is polished.
Every masterpiece glows.
All topped by a new spire and a new roof, replacing the utter destruction of five years ago.
We had the big vault there to rebuild.
So there was a gaping hole?
A big hole there.
When President Macron said five years, we knew that this point here was the most challenging space of the restoration.
steve bannon
Okay, Notre Dame, we'll see that later.
I think it's open to the first mass tomorrow.
President Trump's there today.
He's also going to go to the palace.
I think it's the Elise Palace and meet with Macron.
And Macron, there's calls by Front National for him to actually step down.
The government fell first time since 1962. Ben Harnwell is with me.
Jack Posobiec.
Massive developments out of Syria, including President Trump, has now just put out a true social.
That's a little bit in the grill.
Let me know when I post those up.
Ben Harnwell.
Notre Dame, Trump comes as a defender of the Judeo-Christian West, a massive day, I might add, for all the Catholics in the audience, not important enough for the Pope, for whatever's happening down in Rome, not important enough to show up.
We'll deal with that at another time.
But talk to me about the irony of doing this today.
The government falling and also there's reports out of Ukraine and we have not verified these but there's some reports news reports coming out of Ukraine in a couple of different sites about Zelensky and his government maybe even thinking about since the troops are throwing their weapons down and running there may be a different Assad's families heading to Moscow I think and and it may be Zelensky may be heading to parts unknown.
Can you get us up to date?
ben harnwell
Steve, so much in the world going on today.
Good morning to you.
Firstly, just because you've been talking about this, Syria.
Since we've been on air, troops now, rebel forces are said to be inside actually Damascus city itself and have toppled a statue of Bashar al-Assad, the leader who's holed up.
In the presidential palace, not in Moscow.
His family have fled already.
I flag this up, Steve, because you called it with regards to Ukraine, I think, two and a half years ago.
And you sort of suggested that president...
Zelensky, the great historian on the Second World War, ought to read perhaps a little bit of other events in terms of wars, specifically the Vietnamese Civil War.
And look what happened to Prime Minister Diem.
There's talk in the Spanish newspaper, El Mundo, that this is being whispered amongst diplomats.
I've not seen this Steve referred in a single English-speaking Western newspaper, but the Spanish have this, that diplomats are preparing for Zelensky, what they are calling a golden exile for him to flee to London.
Once peace negotiations start.
There's a background to do with that, which perhaps we can dive into a little later, to do with Zelensky's present unpopularity in Ukraine, which has fallen to fresh lows.
I want to say something, however, to what we see now on the screen, which is the reopening, the grand opening of Notre Dame.
I think, you know, I don't know if they leave a palace right now, but the earlier scenes that they watched were obviously of the cathedral itself.
Steve, you mentioned the word irony in your brief introduction to me today.
I just want to point out one thing here.
Notre Dame, and I've been to Mass there when I was last in Paris a few years ago, before the fire.
It's a spectacular building and it holds an emotional balance.
Place in the French heart like nothing else.
However, here are some statistics for you, Steve.
Recent data indicates that only 8% of self-identified Catholics attend Mass on Sunday.
25% of self-identified Catholics.
Well, what proportion of French are self-identified Catholics?
25%.
Put those two figures together, And we're talking 2% of France goes to Mass on Sunday.
So they're opening, they spend a lot of money reopening this building, restoring this building to its former glory.
To what point, Steve?
It's like an equivalent of something at Disneyland or Disney World.
The only important, it has historic and artistic and cultural Importantly, but beyond that, the importance of any church is as a home, as a vibrant home to the Christian faith, to actual Christian believers who nurture in their hearts the birth, resurrection, and second coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
If it's not about that, then we're just talking about another Hagia Sophia in Istanbul, right?
An early Christian church.
steve bannon
Turned into a mosque, yep.
ben harnwell
Turned into a mosque via being a museum.
The point about this is that Notre Dame, which obviously, you know, if you're not a French speaker, Our Lady, it means, it's to the Virgin Mary, consecrated to the Virgin Mary.
That is the point of Notre Dame.
It is a vibrant home for a living place.
It's an existing Christian faith that bears fruit.
Otherwise, it's a metaphor, isn't it, Steve?
It's a metaphor for the decline of the West.
And you're right that Donald Trump is there, and he should be there.
Nature abhors a vacuum if the so-called Pope, the fake Pope imposter, doesn't want to go.
And I'm glad, you know, I'm good.
Who wants to see his face anyway, right?
But if he doesn't want to go there to effectively one of the spiritual capitals of the old Christendom on this day of importance, let Donald Trump go.
He will assume evermore the mantle of the defender of Christendom.
And then the Catholic Church is receding from that responsibility.
Final statistic, you know, I mentioned that only 25% of French adults identify themselves as Catholic.
This is French Catholicism.
French, this is France, right, the elder daughter of the church.
That figure was 85%, Steve, a few decades ago.
What was its high point?
1962. What happened in 1962?
It's the start of the Second Vatican Council.
That's when the rot really destroyed the Catholic Church and the role of the Catholic Church in European culture.
And we see the decline today, 2% of French people.
steve bannon
Hang on one second, Ben.
I want to get back to that.
I want to bring an observant and devout Catholic into this, Jack Posobiec.
Jack, I want to talk from – I want to shift from Notre Dame to the ancient home of the church in Syria.
President Trump – and Jack, I would like your analysis of this.
President Trump has just put out – and I quote from President Trump, opposition fighters in Syria in an unprecedented move have totally taken over numerous cities in a highly coordinated offensive and are now on the outskirts of Damascus, obviously preparing to make a very big move towards taking out Assad,
Russia, because they're so tied up in Ukraine with the loss of over 600,000 soldiers – Seems incapable of stopping this literal march through Syria, a country they have protected for years.
This is where former President Obama refused to honor his commitment of protecting the red line in the sand and all hell broke out with Russia stepping in.
But now they are like possibly Assad himself being forced out and it may actually be the best thing that can happen to them.
There was never much of a benefit in Syria for Russia, other than make Obama look really stupid.
In any event, Syria is a mess.
It is not our friend.
And this is in all caps.
The United States should have nothing to do with it.
This is not our fight.
Let it play out.
Do not get involved.
I may not totally agree with the geopolitics, their historical importance of the war, more important in the Mediterranean for the Russians, but let's leave that aside for a second.
This gets back to the president being briefed properly.
The United States involvement in this, Jack Posobiec, goes kind of deep, does it not, sir?
jack posobiec
Well, Steve, that's right.
And here we are.
We've been breaking down this story all week.
This is something that I've been covering.
It came on yesterday, and we did a kind of round-robin on what appears to be the final days of Assad's government.
Clearly, whether or not he stays in Damascus or if he's already fled, as President Trump is saying there, or others.
I'm sure, by the way, that he's been briefed on that.
let's just say his current whereabouts are unknown to put it best.
The idea though that the United States is not involved in this at all I think is is actually not true and that's where the briefing aspect comes in because the questions I have are has President Trump been briefed on the fact that number one we do still have this the Hang on, Jack, one second.
steve bannon
We're going to go split screen here for a second.
Just put Jack up in the screen.
He's arriving at the palace now to see.
There's President Trump with Macron.
They're getting ready to go in for a meeting.
That is the defender of the Judeo-Christian West.
That would be Donald John Trump.
And Macron, who's been an unmitigated disaster, not just for the West, but particularly for France.
This is in Paris.
It's live.
President Trump is over there for the rebirth, the rechristening.
Notre Dame reborn, major cultural site, obviously very important to the Catholic Church, Jack, as you know.
Honors Our Lady has had an interesting history.
The Knights Templar were tried in that courtyard out front of Notre Dame.
The Knights of the Templar were tried and then executed months later outside.
Of course, in the French Revolution, what they did inside of Notre Dame cannot be repeated on a Saturday morning family show.
Jack Posobiec, let's go back to Syria because the arc of instability that goes all the way from Ukraine now down through the Balkans, through Romania to Turkey in Syria.
And Syria is – it's the ancient home of Christianity in Damascus.
People I'm sure our audience, our Christian audience knows it was on the road to Damascus that Saul – One of the great tormentors of Christianity of the early church, God struck him down and he became St. Paul and really was able to take Christ's teachings and take it to a broader audience in Rome and therefore the West.
Jack Posobiec, our involvement in Syria has been quite deep, has it not, sir?
jack posobiec
Well, it absolutely has.
And you're talking about the road to Damascus.
That's the very same road that the rebels are riding on right now, particularly the southern rebels, the ones who have received direct U.S. training, direct U.S. protection, direct U.S. funding.
They're coming up from the south using very much the same road that St. Paul was on, the northern rebels, the ones that are backed by the Turks, the ones that are equipped with northern NATO forces.
Weaponry, and we're seeing this, by the way, with Al Jelani, this guy who is, you know, he's now being branded.
He's got the rebrand going on where he's on CNN, and he's been referred to as a moderate rebel, and she's got the headscarf on, and, you know, you know a guy's bad when CNN's got him on, and they're putting it on.
unidentified
By the way...
steve bannon
Hang on.
Hang on one second.
jack posobiec
Deputy...
steve bannon
Jack Posobiec, guys, we'll take a short break.
Posobiec's with us.
Harnwell from Rome.
We're going to come back to all of it in a moment.
unidentified
We rejoice when there's no more.
Let's take down the CCP! Here's your host, Stephen K. Mann.
steve bannon
It's quite ironic that 80-plus years, what, 83 years from Pearl Harbor, our entry, but really the war started really in Manchuria with the Chinese, the Imperial Japan invasion of that back in the mid-30s, that we're here today, and this is why it's divine providence.
The return of Trump, the second victory of Trump, obviously the first victory, the second victory, seeing how they stole it, what they tried to do with our country.
But today, President Trump is in Paris, going to be at Notre Dame for the...
Do I have a problem here?
unidentified
Okay, fine.
steve bannon
Good.
Oh, right there.
Is he speaking?
Let's go ahead and cut to it.
...in the United States, French people.
unidentified
And we respect them, and we love them.
Very talented people.
steve bannon
Extremely energetic people, as you know very well.
And it's an honor to be here.
donald j trump
We had a good time together, and we had a lot of success.
unidentified
Really great success working together on defense and offense, too.
And it certainly seems like the world is Going a little crazy right now.
steve bannon
And we'll be talking about that.
unidentified
Thank you very much for being here.
Thank you.
steve bannon
Okay, President Trump, There's President Trump with President Macron.
They're sitting down to have their talk.
Just a little bit to the media.
President Trump being very magnanimous.
Ben Harnwell and Jack Posobiec.
And Posobiec, thank you and the wife for always allowing you, like on October 7th, the attack on Israel.
Today, historic day, to free you up to join us on Saturday.
Ben, real quickly, folks, birchgold.com slash bannon.com.
Gold's a hedge in times of turmoil and instability.
Let me be brutally frank.
I think we're heading into that, into a whirlwind.
You know, we're going to – the Biden forces and the globalists have sown – The wind and we're going to reap the whirlwind.
It's pretty obvious about that.
Ben, real quick, there's an update.
They're no longer on the road to Damascus.
The Associated Press and others were reporting these quote-unquote rebel forces are actually in Damascus.
ben harnwell
Yeah, this is Reuters.
This is suddenly within the last 20 minutes.
So the news is changing, really.
We're watching this in real time.
So the news is that the rebels are now in Damascus, in the suburbs, the outer suburbs of the city.
Still a number of kilometres outside the direct centre, that is to say.
But what Reuters is calling the suburbs of Damascus itself.
And they've pulled down the statue not of Assad, but of his father.
And there's a video of this circulating on Reuters.
steve bannon
If we can get that, thank you.
Jack Bosobik, it's ironic.
I think the Pico-Sykes, they carved out Damascus, I think, or part of Syria as the French concession, right, along with Lebanon.
The French have kind of made a mess of that.
Get us up to speed.
I want to know particularly the American involvement because our involvement there in the paramilitary, when we...
Relieve the watch on 20 January of 2017. As I say, we were outside Palmyra with this kind of rebel forces, CIA paramilitary, American military special forces.
The Persians or Hezbollah, whatever the Persians were a thousand yards away.
And I checked that we really hadn't changed locations from the Roman legion and Xerxes and Darius's Persian legions over 2,000 years.
So for 2,000 years, this has been a cockpit of fighting between the West and really the Orient as manifested by the Persians.
Jack Posobiec, your thoughts and our current engagement and involvement there.
jack posobiec
Well, Steve, you know, I just got to say that it looks like the Assad government is collapsing as fast as Macron's government collapsed just last week.
And President Trump over there sitting down with Macron just a couple of days after his own government is in a state of absolute collapse.
Now we look at Assad's side.
And look, if you seriously mean to sit there and tell me that we don't have CIA involvement in all of these various groups while this guy is sitting up there Al Jelani, and we're calling this jihadist, this headcutter, a moderate rebel, and he's going on CNN. He's got the Zelensky makeover with the green, and he's got his nice coiffed beard, and suddenly, oh, this is all very serious.
We all want to work together.
I got a bridge in Baltimore I want to sell you.
The idea that we're not involved is a joke.
These groups have been funded and trained by the United States.
It was Operation Timber Sycamore that President Trump ended.
But when Obama like Jake Sullivan got back in there, Victoria Nuland got back in there under Biden, they turned this absolutely right back on.
And who are they working with in the South?
That's the Syrian National Army.
Who are they working with in the North?
The Free Syrian Army.
And the Free Syrian Army is directly controlled by Turkish intelligence.
Now, this Jelani guy, he's an Arab.
So he's a Sunni Arab.
He's coming out.
And by the way, that Turkish-backed army, Steve, you've got Mongolians in there.
You've got Central Asians.
You've got conscripts from all over.
This is a step-people army.
By the way, the Uyghurs are in there from East Turkestan, a.k.a. Xinjiang in China.
So you've got a whole dog's breakfast of types that are on the Turkish side.
Then the Sunni Arabs, that's HTS.
So this guy, Al Jelani, by the way, born in Saudi Arabia originally, was in al-Qaeda in Iraq under a guy by al-Baghdadi.
And Baghdadi is the one that sent him to Syria in the first place.
This is Baghdadi's deputy.
steve bannon
Let me – let's hang on for a second.
Jack, I'm going to ask you to just stay through because I want to finish this.
Eli Crane is also – he's putting up a penny for a congressional award, a congressional medal.
He may join us in the next hour.
A federal judge has said another million pages of Pfizer documents, secret Pfizer documents are going to be released.
We have Naomi, but Jack and Ben are going to stick with me because breaking news, President Trump – Is that the rechristening of Notre Dame Cathedral in France, but Lord have mercy, the world is on fire right now.
I find it quite ironic that Macron, who couldn't wait to rub up and congratulate Biden when Biden stole the 2020 election, he's using President Trump as a prop to the French people to say, look, I'm a world leader, Trump's over here.
I'm not so sure it's going to work.
I think he's going to get tossed, and I would think he's going to get tossed sooner rather than later.
He's one of the causes, one of the major causes of all this madness, including in Ukraine.
Short commercial break.
We'll be back in a minute.
We've got Jack Pessoa.
We've got Ben Harnwell in Rome.
Birchgold.com slash Bannon, the end of the dollar empire.
We've got a new installment of modern monetary theory.
Another terrible idea that came from France that emanated from France, like parts of their French Revolution.
Short break.
Back in the warm in 90 seconds.
