The Senate have the legacy of McConnell to block President Trump.
It will not happen.
Matt Gaetz has withdrawn his nomination.
And look, let's be brutally frank, you can't take this any other way than a Mitch McConnell win.
unidentified
Despite predicting that nothing would stop Donald Trump from getting his cabinet picks confirmed, Steve Bannon has now conceded that something did.
Something named Mitch McConnell.
Today, the New York Times reports that Senator McConnell is feeling liberated and prepared to defend his chamber's independence from Trump.
I don't know.
Well, extremely unlikely.
And I think our fourth position has to be to be skepticism because we've been through this before over and over and over again.
But let's play a quick game of what if.
What if, in the twilight of his career, Mitch McConnell actually does regret not disqualifying Donald Trump after January 6?
What if, in his heart of hearts, Mitch McConnell deeply does resent Trump's conduct and his racist slurs against his wife?
What if Mitch McConnell actually does think that Donald Trump's foreign policy is dangerous?
And what if, in fact, he is serious?
I think that this is where I think you really draw the line, that he is serious about protecting the integrity of the institution.
serious about protecting the integrity of the institution because Donald Trump, from the moment of his election, basically made it clear that he wanted to bend the Senate to his will, as you said.
He wanted the Senate to surrender its powers of advice and consent.
Mitch McConnell, at some point, is going to say, look, the way this system is set up under the Constitution, we are not potted plants.
We are going to be jealous of our power, and we're not going to let you roll over.
So the other what if that I think that we need to keep in mind, and again, I don't put a lot of stock in this, but what if at this point in his life, Mitch McConnell is all out of bleeps to give?
What if he decides, I have nothing to lose?
I am not going to be, I am not simply going to be another spear carrier for Donald Trump.
You put all those things together, And you have the possibility of someone saying, I have nothing to lose.
I'm going to do what I want to do, really for the first time in maybe 20 years in terms of not having responsibility in leadership.
So again, default position, skepticism.
But it's a really interesting question right now, especially going back to your last segment.
I just want to underline one thing.
You know, we're learning about the unilateral power of the president, all the things that Donald Trump will be able to do without congressional approval.
The fact that he can unilaterally impose billions of dollars in taxes is extraordinary.
I don't think a lot of people fully realize that the fact that he does have the power to initiate mass deportation is, The fact that he can use the Department of Justice.
So this is a moment at which the Senate, in its historic constitutional role, can be a check on Donald Trump.
And there's no love lost between these two men.
steve bannon
This is the primal scream of a dying regime.
unidentified
Pray for our enemies, because we're going medieval on these people.
steve bannon
Here's one time I got a free shot at all these networks lying about the people.
The people have had a belly full of it.
I know you don't like hearing that.
I know you try to do everything in the world to stop that, but you're not going to stop it.
It's going to happen.
jake tapper
And where do people like that go to share the big lie?
unidentified
MAGA media.
I wish in my soul, I wish that any of these people had a conscience Ask yourself, what is my task and what is my purpose?
steve bannon
If that answer is to save my country, this country will be saved.
unidentified
War Room.
Here's your host, Stephen K. Bannon.
steve bannon
It's Wednesday, 27 November, Year of Our Lord, 2024. Welcome back for the second hour of the morning show.
We'll also be back live from 5 to 7 at night.
So much going on.
So a lot to unpack there.
And Carrie Lake, you're going to have to get a Senate confirmation at some point in time.
So let's put a pin in.
We're going to come back to you in a moment.
But be nice.
Play nice.
Hang on.
So, Mitch, let's face it.
Remember, the theory of the case is that they're the system's defenders and we're the anti-system, right?
Because the system's not working.
The system works against, the system is destructive to American citizens, particularly those American citizens that are the full faith and credit of the United States government.
That would happen to be the working class and middle class of our beloved republic.
This is what this is all about.
They are defenders of the institutions, and we're saying they go, no, the institutions have to be reformed.
The institutions have to be purged.
The institutions have to be renewed.
This is what capitalist societies do.
It's called creative destruction.
Or if you've read, and I keep saying, it's not just the Overton window.
It's deeper than that.
Read Thomas Kuhn's The structure of scientific revolutions about the concept of paradigms and paradigm shifts.
This is how big movements in history happen and we're in a big time in history.
Now Charlie right there and Alex Wagner actually break it down is that in Charlie talks about the unitary so take your number two pencil out because this is a piece of nomenclature and you must remember this in the fight going forward the unitary theory of the executive.
This is not to impose upon the Senate.
This is not to impose upon the judiciary.
Those three branches, those other two branches of government as laid out in our beloved Constitution that's now 230, 240 years old, they are equal.
They were co-equal powers with checks and balances.
Hey, I went to prison for four months on a misdemeanor in a debate about the power of an illegal and illegitimate committee in Congress and the president's ability to exert executive privilege.
That was part of this debate.
And guess what?
I'm very proud to have served four months in prison for this, and I'll serve another four months if I have to on this topic.
The unitary theory of the executives inside the executive branch.
There is no check and balance by the administrative or deep state.
No, Brennan does not get ability to check the executive.
And here's why.
The Constitution is very clear.
It lays out three jobs.
Whoever is in the presidency has three jobs.
They're the chief executive of the U.S. government.
They're the commander-in-chief of the armed forces.
And also, they're the chief magistrate.
And chief law enforcement officer of said government.
That is since Watergate, they've hived off over into the Justice Department.
This is why you have a thousand patriots in prison on J6 right now.
A corrupt judiciary, a corrupt Department of Justice, U.S. attorneys, every U.S. attorney should be fired at one minute afternoon on the 20th of January.
Gone.
And take their deputies out too.
Damien Williams, a sores plant in the Southern District, the most powerful of all of them, he resigns in running for the hills.
We know what your crimes are, bro.
You can't run.
And Jack Smith resigns.
Every day they're on TV whining and yammering about, it's so bad.
People are so nervous.
You better damn well be nervous.
This theory President Trump is going to force.
Now, he picks an attorney general, Matt Gaetz, and Matt Gaetz has got a few rough edges.
I'm the first to admit that.
He came, as we say in Wall Street, the deal had a little hair on it.
But he was a selection to be the blowtorch in the DOJ because you need a blowtorch in the DOJ. And who stopped it?
It's not John Thune.
Mitch McConnell is an institutionalist.
He believes in the institution of the United States Senate, and he believes in it.
He hates Trump.
He hates populism.
He hates nationalism.
He hates our movement.
And that rearguard action is quite possible.
Not quite possible.
It is very powerful.
And unless we lance that boil and lance it now, that's the blocking device.
I can tell you, from the establishment's point of view, the resistance...
They're doing the color revolution, and Natalie will be on here later to do it.
That's all going to be a thing that we're going to have to work through.
But I keep saying on the interregnum, you must seize the institutions.
If you do not seize the institutions, we cannot reform them.
If you do not seize the institution, you cannot deconstruct the administrative state.
The imperial capital is set up on institutions that have atrophied and grown and metastasized and work against the American people.
From the Justice Department, to the Agriculture Department, to the Defense Department, to this corrupt Intelligence 18 branches that Tulsi Gabbard will heroically go in and try to change.
You must seize the institution.
And the institution you must seize overall is, as a co-eco branch, to enforce your will on the United States Senate.
And you're not going to do that when Mitch McConnell's hiding behind Thune and exerting his power.
Kerry Lake, I don't want to get you into this fight.
The one thing I will say is that you were the most MAGA of all candidates and facing the most radical of all opponents in Gallego.
And now we see Gallego.
The bait was pathetic.
He's pathetic.
I'm not talking about service as a Marine.
Service Marine, it was terrific.
I'm talking about as he represents.
He's radical.
He also can't represent.
He's a shy guy.
He can't talk.
The debate was unbelievable.
You've got no money.
Schumer and these people put $80 million.
Why?
The last thing they wanted was a MAGA warrior like Carrie Lake in the United States Senate, and Mitch McConnell didn't want you because Stephen Law and Mitch McConnell, here's how much money they gave you, ma'am.
Zero.
Against $80 million coming from Denver, you didn't get a penny.
That is a seat we could have won, and they would rather have 53 seats and no Cary Lake than having 54 with Cary Lake, ma'am.
kari lake
Yeah, I mean, it's unfortunate, and we worked hard to try to make up some of that.
We could have used the help.
We could have used—I think they have a war chest of, I've heard, $400 million to help get the Senate majority.
And I think—I was hoping that we would eventually get some of that money.
I know they were spending it in places like Maryland, where it was a blowout defeat of the Republican running Larry Hogan.
And unfortunately, we didn't get any money.
They didn't give Blake Masters any money in the last go-around as well.
And so, I mean, it is what it is.
And we can't go back in time.
It's very unfortunate.
We could have had, I think, 57, 58 senators that are in D.C. right now helping to get President Trump's agenda.
Instead, we have a very slim majority.
And I don't even know if you can call it that.
53, I mean, you're always going to see the people who hold out and vote against Trump.
Murkowski, you're going to see things like that happening.
And now we don't really have a majority.
steve bannon
Hang on, hang on.
We have two Democrats.
Collins and Murkowski are Democrats.
They're just Democrats.
They're moderate Democrats.
So you have 51. Yeah, 51 and J.D. in case of a tie, right?
So you're not even close to the six.
They would rather have 51 and have a couple of Democrats that caucus with them and not have Carrie Lake, because Carrie Lake, you're a fire breather.
Let's just talk truth to power.
kari lake
You're a fire breather.
I worry that they want to just compromise, compromise, compromise.
And there are many issues, many of which you talk about every day, where we can't.
How do you compromise on securing the border?
We saw what that compromise deal looked like and that ridiculous piece of legislation they put forth and they said it was bipartisan.
It wasn't.
There was no bipartisan support for that.
We saw that it was going to actually take this outrageous policy on our border and codify it into law and prevent President Trump from truly securing the border.
Thank God that went down in flames.
So, you know, with the majority we have right now, we don't really have a majority.
And that means they're going to be making a lot of deals with the Democrats.
And frankly, this isn't the Democrat Party anymore.
It's pure socialism.
And there's certain things you just can't make deals on.
And securing the border and national security are things I don't want to see deal-making going on with a bunch of socialists.
steve bannon
Kerry, can you hang on one second?
I know you've got to bounce.
I just want to hold you a couple of minutes on the other side because people want to know the future of Kerry Lake.
You're one of the most revered members of the MAGA movement and a great leader.
And people want to know if you're going to put your shoulder to the wheel to help President Trump in Washington, D.C. or throughout the world.
Kerry Lake's with us.
Take a short commercial break.
The great Johnny Kahn, Andrew Breitbart, one of his early partners.
In a song, the anthem of the Tea Party, more relevant today than ever.
Johnny Conn takes us out with American Heart.
We're going to return in the war room in just a moment.
unidentified
But I say, I still believe in The greatest innovator, liberator, cultivator, freedom knows So I suggest you take a look inside Cause I think you've changed already You went and lost
steve bannon
your pride But I'm American, baby I got American part I got American, baby Here's your host, Stephen K. Van Okay, I think you can tell from the tariff discussion when you have guys like Kevin O'Leary talking about 400% tariffs to take down the Chinese Communist Party.
Hey, I was talking to these, I don't know, a couple thousand anti-CCP dissidents last night, gave a talk and then talked about going forward what's going to happen.
They're all for it.
Remember, we can't take down the illegitimate Chinese government.
Only Lao Bai Jing can do that.
But until that happens, the MAGA movement is really the American Lao Bai Jing.
What is Lao Bai Jing?
That is an old hundred names.
Because there's essentially a hundred last names in Chinese.
Old hundred names.
It's the common man and woman.
The little guy.
And the Chinese, as a great civilization, have never had...
They're the only civilization on Earth.
In a great civilization, they've never had freedom.
Either been under an emperor, either been under a warlord, either been on an invasion of foreign powers like the Manchurians, or either been under communist dictatorship for 10,000 years of history.
Now is their moment.
Only Lao Ba Jin can overthrow them, but you can tell they have two issues.
Number one, there's a huge issue of legitimacy.
Wang Shishan and the senior members of the Chinese Communist Party think about this all the time because they understand the United States, the corrupt State Department, infested with communists, as Senator McCarthy pointed out, turned over the country to Mao Zedong and the communists in 1949. And then in 1989, at Tiananmen Square, when the students stood up and said, we're not going to take this anymore, and Deng Xiaoping and those guys were on their back foot, And fall to slaughter in Tiananmen Square.
Bush, the first Bush, sent Skowcroft over and bailed him out again.
1989. And made him a World Trade Organization.
Why?
Because the slave labor of Lao Bajing keeps wages down throughout the world.
And now you have Kevin O'Leary and following President Trump, we have an opportunity to take down the Chinese Communist Party.
Carrie, what the audience wants to know, you're one of the leaders of this movement and a beloved figure because you're a fighter.
What does Carrie Lake's future look like?
kari lake
I want to first talk a little bit about what you just mentioned.
You know, we have an opportunity to bring down this CCP and free the people of China.
Can you imagine how that would change the world?
I think the money we spend, the money we could save not having an enemy like the CCP any longer, if you want to look at it from pure economics.
I think, you know, they were on the verge of another uprising right before COVID. Remember in the streets of Hong Kong?
In 2019, I think the people are ripe for revolution and for freedom, and they're ready to go.
And I'm hoping that President Trump does what O'Leary suggested.
I don't know if 400% is the right number, but, you know, that would be stark.
It would happen quickly with that number like that.
So I'm excited about freeing and helping people.
steve bannon
Hang on.
This is why we need you with President Trump's administration, because it should be noted that 45 of those young patriots in Hong Kong were sentenced to prison, to Chinese prisons on the mainland, two days ago.
And Marco Rubio, look, as much as people say neocon for the Waltz, Waltz is the most anti-CCP in the House.
And Marco Rubio and Senator Rubio is the most anti-CCP in the Senate, even greater, I think, than Josh Hawley.
And Senator Rubio's staff has done the most important report, it hasn't been totally disseminated, about the wealth of the Mandarins and the Chinese Communist Party and the money they've made.
These families are richer than the monarchies in the Gulf.
They're richer than that when that comes out.
So Carrie, you are engaged with the transition.
I understand you're doing reps here to maybe take a Newsmax gig.
What are you going to do?
kari lake
You know, that reporting yesterday was absolutely fake news.
I mean, think about how bad the media is.
You cannot hate them enough, Steve.
They reached out to me, asked if I was negotiating with Newsmax.
I said, no, you know, get better sources.
You're wrong.
Apparently, they reached out to Newsmax.
Newsmax said it's false, and they run the story anyway.
I mean, we cannot possibly have enough ire toward the absolute fake news than we already have.
It's Thankfully, it's starting to collapse.
They'll just run any fake hit piece for clicks to try to disparage me, and I'm used to it.
That's the beauty of being in the crosshairs of the media.
Much like what they've done to President Trump, they've done that to me.
It's been a...
Nonstop character assassination.
And I'm looking forward to the crumbling of the mainstream media and some of these liberal outlets that have just lied to the people for so long.
That's why I'm excited when President Trump started talking about these FCC licenses and removing them.
And why are we giving these out free to people who are lying and organizations that have lied to and divided our country?
So I'm excited about that aspect of what President Trump's going to do when it comes to his policy.
I think Brendan Carr was an excellent choice to head up the FCC. That's going to be exciting.
As for me, I'm not sure exactly what I'm going to be doing.
I want to help in any way to make America great again.
That's been my mission since I dared to step into politics.
I'm actually taking a little time to just breathe.
I've been going nonstop, Steve, for three and a half years leading an incredible grassroots movement here in Arizona.
I will tell the people listening this, especially if you've got...
Some of the leftists who despise our movement, I'm not going away.
As much as they want me to go away, I am not going away.
And so they can't get rid of me.
There's nothing they can do to get rid of me.
They can write as many nasty stories about me filled with lies as they want.
We are not going away.
We're going to stand up and continue to fight for this country and see to it that President Trump's agenda is pushed through, pushed through quickly, and that we do move into the golden era of For this wonderful, great country of ours.
steve bannon
Carrie, where can people keep up to date with you?
Social media, website, all of it?
kari lake
The usual.
I'm on X. I'm on Truth.
I'm on Getter.
I'm on Facebook.
Just go to Carrie Lake, at Carrie Lake.
I think this is my Twitter page, I think.
Yeah.
Oh, we just hit 2.4 million followers.
That's awesome.
That just happened.
I didn't know that.
Wow.
So we're going to keep pushing forward.
I'm going to help in any way I can to make sure President Trump's agenda is moved forward.
I've got a couple of other options.
It's so rare, Steve, when you're at a moment where whatever direction you step in could change the trajectory of your life.
And right now I'm at one of those moments.
I can go this direction, that direction, or that.
But all along I'm going to continue to push the MAGA movement because our children and their future is counting on.
steve bannon
Carrie, you're a huge piece of manpower.
Thank you for being part of this movement and not backing down.
Yes, ma'am.
kari lake
Happy birthday.
Happy birthday, Stephen K. Bannon.
steve bannon
I wish you hadn't done that.
I wish you hadn't done that.
I'm not a birthday guy.
We go on the whole show.
We go on the whole show.
I got all the way through this.
Carrie, thank you very much.
Somebody give her the hook.
I'm just kidding.
Carrie, you have a great Thanksgiving.
Thank you for being on here.
Love you, too.
Keep grinding.
Thank you, ma'am.
Man, I almost got all the way through here.
So let's do a reset.
This is why, and look, there's some fantastic, fabulous people coming into this administration.
Let me hit rewind on the Mitch McConnell of it all.
President Trump took a bullet to the head and four frickin' months later he won in a landslide.
He gets to choose the cabinet he wants.
I'm not in love with all the picks.
I don't really understand the Surgeon General.
I don't understand her supporting the disinformation campaign.
But hey, we had folks on last night talking about it.
Right?
And I understand Noem and all of us.
But that's his choice.
He gets these picks.
And they've got to be approved.
And the Senate should give all the advice they should give.
And then they should give her consent.
The Matt's Gate situation is a ticking time bomb.
Because Mitch McConnell understands he rolled us.
Somebody said, well, you can't say this.
He said, yes, we have to have this discussion.
This is a partner's discussion.
We have to have this discussion.
You think that's the last time that Mitch McConnell's going to intrude on this?
We have the left on the run.
They're totally disorganized.
They're trying to get together.
And Natalie's going to be here about how they're doing it, how the resistance is forming, how Norm Eisen...
Right?
All the demons that were there with the Transition Integrity Project that stole the 2020 election, Mark Elias, the entire crowd.
And they're great organizers, and they're smart people, and they're tough people.
But right now, we have them on their back foot.
This is why you have to seize high ground all the time.
This is war.
It's no different than warfare.
This is political war.
We have to seize it.
We have to seize it now.
The most important thing blocking us, the only thing blocking us, the only thing we haven't gotten a victory and a win in is the United States Senate.
Mitch McConnell and Cornyn and all these people in cycle have to understand, you need not just to sit there passionately and go, yeah, you need to get aggressive.
President Trump needs his picks.
Chris Christie lays it out the other day on Jonathan Karl on the Sunday morning show this week.
Christie says it out loud.
Of the three, of Hegseth and Gabbard and Kennedy, they're going to pick one.
I happen to think, as controversial as Pete is, and Pete's a buddy is a good man, as controversial as Pete is, if he hangs in there, the target's going to be Kennedy.
Because the biopharmaceutical...
Remember, these come in complexes.
The biopharmaceutical and medical complex...
Is going to target and they understand Kennedy is tough, he's smart, he's relentless, and he will take them apart.
And Mitch McConnell feeds at the trough of the biopharmaceutical industry.
We are setting ourselves up for a defeat and or compromise that Bobby, remember Gates, go back.
When Gates went around, what was leaked?
When he went around with JD? He wasn't going to go after MSNBC? He wasn't going to go after Cheney.
He wasn't going to go after the main things in the Justice Department.
And now we know, I think it was The Hill today, talking about Pam Bondi, that they're saying that Pam's great.
She's a warrior.
But they're saying, hey, Bannon's right.
Gates was going to be a blowtorch in the DOJ. She's not a blowtorch.
That's a massive win.
And they're going to have the same thing on the biopharmaceutical side.
Mark my words.
That even if they get through, they're going to have so many compromises, what we're not going to do.
And Tucker had this brilliant piece on yesterday of the advertising.
I keep saying, if you force buy a pharmaceutical off the air, MSNBC is a test pattern.
And they do it not to sell the drugs to people, but to basically buy off the major media.
Short break.
Natalie Winters.
Want a better rant?
Natalie Winters is on deck in the War Room.
joy reid
And coming up, our readout guide to navigating autocracy.
Friend of the show, Joyce Vance, is back to answer some of our legal questions on Trump's mass deportation threats.
unidentified
And they also see him as a champion of the working class.
You know, last time around, he did tax cuts for the rich.
It's going to happen again.
The tariffs are going to hit middle-income, low-income people more than anything else.
And even when he was president, he cut back.
He tried to cut back a regulation that would have expanded over time for workers.
So we're going to see him not serve the working class.
We're going to see a lot of pocket lining from his aides on the side and from his own family and from Trump himself.
So, I mean, this is autocracy.
It's oligarchy.
It's all rolled in together into one gigantic reality TV show.
We saw it.
joy reid
The Readout Guide to Navigating Autocracy.
Tonight, how business owners should prepare for the coming mass deportation raids.
As Trump's borders are, vows to lock up anyone who stands in his way.
unidentified
Don Jr., because they were fantasizing about buying media company, MSNBC. So, there is actually an autocratic model for taking over media networks.
natalie winters
You're back in the war room.
It's Natalie G. Winters just temporarily holding down the fort.
We still got Stephen K. Bannon with us.
But, hey, I guess it's his birthday today.
Fact checkers have told me.
So I guess he's, what, taking a segment off?
Well, how about this, Joy Reid?
This, of course, springboarding off of the show Steve and I did last night.
The A-word, autocracy, is back and back with a vengeance.
If you want any pro tips on how to, quote-unquote, navigate autocracy...
I'd start with, I don't know, lawyering up and preserving your documents.
I might not be a lawyer, but I think Mike Davis would probably tell you the same exact thing.
We, of course, this is another called shot for the war room.
They've pivoted from the whole democracy, Trump is going to destroy democracy, to now the actual actionable angle of attack, which is that Trump is an autocrat.
Not just, I would argue, laying out the justification for future would-be Trump assassins, but more importantly, giving these sort of framing and narrative pretext and cover, quite literally, to activists like Norm Eisen, Mark Elias, the Victoria Nuland color revolution, dominatrix, apparatchiks of the world.
But you have to pay attention, right, to the language.
Down to the analytical level.
Because what autocracy is, that smear campaign, it is camouflage for the deep state to overturn the election results that we just witnessed.
Overwhelming victory for President Trump.
Now, they admit it tacitly when they try to say, oh, well, it wasn't really a landslide victory.
He only won, I don't know what, historic gains with every community that lives inside of this great country that is the United States of America.
They stole the election in 2020 in a du jour sense, right?
They actually stole the election.
We saw four years of absolute chaos break out as a result of that.
But now they're doing a de facto steal.
And when I say they, I'm not just referencing the Norm Eisen or the far left wing sort of bent of the color revolution arc.
I'm talking about people like Mitch McConnell too.
Because it's the uncomfortable truth, and you see it in full, ugly display with who is coming out against so many of Donald Trump's cabinet nominees and just the MAGA agenda more broadly, but that the elite, the ruling elite, the people who have to sit on MSNBC and pander to, what, a couple tens of thousands of viewers every night and defend the institutions, they think that's an enviable position?
Well, then I'd humbly invite you to come over to War Room, because we actually get to preach the gospel of truth in MAGA here.
But you know what the uncomfortable fact is, for all of those MSNBC hosts, the talking heads, is that they represent the American elite that has become every single thing that this country was founded in an aversion to.
They represent the interests, not just of the landed elite, because frankly normal Americans can't afford to buy homes anymore, but the Black Rocks of the world, the corporations of the world, the Bill Gates of the world.
Even the state-sponsored regime media, they have become what this country was founded to oppose.
And I think they know it, right?
To use a little word that I think our revolutionary forefathers use, they've become intolerable with what they've done.
And they're not just the ones defending the institution.
That's a limited hangout.
Full stop.
They're weaponizing the institutions.
And there's a distinct difference there.
So when they, oh, well, we're happy to defend the institutions.
Great.
That's not what you did.
You weren't defending the Department of Justice when you sent them after Stephen K. Bannon, when you sent them after Peter Navarro, when you set them after thousands of patriotic Americans who dared to, I don't know, push back against your BS lie that Joe Biden won the 2020 election.
Yet where did those 10 million voters go?
Same 10 million, the 10 million that you bust into this country?
Conveniently, right, in districts like Springfield that seem to be, what, so overwhelmingly MAGA, and since you can't win them with issues, you have to, what, change the electorate through, what, the Great Replacement Theory?
Yeah, you can quote that Media Matters.
This is about sovereignty, not just over this country, but for your mind.
They want to be able to force you not just to think that Donald Trump is an autocratic threat to this country.
You need to use electric cars.
Your children need to be transgender.
You got to eat plant-based.
You can't eat meat, right?
That's the new thing that Bill Gates is all about funding.
This is about trying to kneecap and steal the 2024 election, make it a pyrrhic victory for Donald Trump.
And they're doing it with lawfare.
You already see Democracy 2025, a new group co-chaired by Mark Elias, wrangling the troops, circling the troops, circling the wagons.
With, what, over 800 lawyers and a multi-million dollar war chest with a bunch of lawsuits ready to go on day one.
You got Democracy Forward.
That's the group that met just last week in Washington, D.C. to spearhead all the financial resources to back these efforts.
I know conservative media right now, and I know you're probably saying, Natalie, just enjoy the holidays, just enjoy the Trump victory.
That's great, but did you see what happened to Matt Gaetz?
If we don't maintain the vigilance that we have always had when we have known that we're on the back foot, They will sweep this victory right out from under us like they have and like they've tried to do.
I want to play an important clip, too, because this isn't just about what's going on here domestically.
There's global ramifications, too.
And like we've said from day one of Trump's victory, since they know that they no longer at least technically, legally, ostensibly control the levers of power here through the executive branch, And of course, through Congress too, they're going to have to outsource their efforts to suppress the American people, particularly when it comes to censorship.
Or if it comes to the World Health Organization or the United Nations or climate change or pandemic treaties, take your pick of how they want to come for your ability to live, I don't know, a little thing called freedom out in this great country that's the United States of America.
So how are they going to do it?
They're going to call for climate change emergencies.
And you know who just called for that?
None other than John Kerry.
Denver, let's roll it.
john kerry
So I think, personally, we're in the brink of needing to declare a climate emergency, which is what we really have.
And we need to get people to behave as if this really is a major transitional challenge to the whole planet, to everybody.
People in Africa who don't have electricity need to choose the right kinds of electricity.
And we need to help them be able to afford it and do it.
We are the largest economy in the world.
$24 trillion or $23 trillion economy.
Maybe more by now.
The next closest is China at about $18 trillion.
And the next closest to the two of us?
Germany and Japan at four trillion.
That's how far it drops down.
You don't think we have some sort of obligation out of that to be responsible?
I think you do.
But I'm just saying that our country needs to talk about this.
And we need to make it happen because we're paying huge sums of money to make up the difference.
natalie winters
What a pseudo-intellectual.
I think he's on par with Alec Baldwin and Sharon Stone, those clips that we played last night.
Of course, John Kerry, who, what was it, two, three weeks ago had the viral clip where he was saying, yeah, well, the First Amendment is a major block towards hammering alternative media out of existence.
Now, I don't know about you, but I didn't see the whole left-wing media that melts down any time the R-word retribution is mentioned, or free press, or apparently it's autocratic to try to buy, I don't know, a failing, fledgling media company known as MSNBC. Did they say anything about what John Kerry said?
Did they ever said anything about the mass, what I think we just discovered was a quarter of a trillion dollar censorship effort coming out of the Biden regime?
To censor anyone who disagreed with them, smearing them as misinformation agents?
We here in the war room wear that.
As a badge of honor, I think I hear Stephen K. Bannon trying to join in.
unidentified
Please.
steve bannon
Yeah, hang on.
The rant's great.
I want to play, though, if Denver could play and take us out with Sharon Stone and Alec Baldwin, I want Natalie's commentary when we come back.
Let's go ahead and play that about what they think of the populist movement and the citizens.
Let's go and rip it.

In my country, without going into significant detail, half the people in the country are happy, and half the people in the country are very unhappy.
It's a very difficult time in the United States.
And I think the only way people can learn what is happening, and film is unique in this way, not only what's happening in the United States, but around the world.
What's happening, you might not learn from the news.
Television news in the United States is a business.
They have to make money.
And again, not to go into great detail about that, but there's a hole, there's a vacuum.
There is a gap, if you will, in information for Americans.
Americans are very uninformed about reality, what's really going on.
With climate change, Ukraine, Israel, you name it, all the biggest topics in the world, Americans have an appetite for a little bit of information.
That vacuum is filled by the film industry, not just the independent film industry, not just the documentary film industry, which are very important around the world, but by narrative films as well, where the filmmakers and the buyers, the studios and the networks and the streamers are willing to go that way.
They're willing to try to make films that are not only entertaining, but You
know, Italy has seen fascism.
Italy has seen these things.
You guys, you understand what happens.
You have seen this before.
My country is in its adolescence.
Adolescence is very arrogant.
Adolescence thinks it knows everything.
Adolescence is naive and ignorant and arrogant.
And we are in our ignorant, arrogant adolescence.
We haven't seen this before in our country.
So Americans who don't travel, who 80% don't have a passport, who are uneducated, are in their extraordinary naivete.
What I can say is that the only way that we can help with these issues is to help each other.
Now, we can't just say that women should help women because that's the only way we have survived so far.
We must say that good men must help good men.
And those good men must be very aware that a lot of your friends are not good men.
And you can't continue to pretend that your friends are good men when they are not good men.
And you must be very clear minded.
Here's your host, Stephen K. Band.
steve bannon
So, Natalie, I think you graduated from the University of Chicago, which folks should know it's really a graduate school with a small undergraduate department of the most brilliant young people in the country.
I think you went through there in three years.
And I think you got kicked out of the sorority there because of your right-wing populist the first time in history.
unidentified
That's true.
steve bannon
Your comments and observations of the Rhodes Scholar Sharon Stone and the astrophysicist Alec Baldwin Their attitude to working class men and women in our great country, ma'am.
natalie winters
Well, I think you're a masochist if you wanted to play that clip again, or you're just like torturing the audience.
That's the worst birthday present that I think you could possibly have come up with.
But look, I think this gets back to, I mean, even what we were talking about with Anne Applebaum last night, right?
The idea that these people are defending the institutions, this sort of neoliberal establishment that I think the Trump agenda has really unearthed to, for lack of a better word, the emperor has no clothes.
But in this case, it's really more so that the experts have no clothes, right?
When they sit there and people like Alec Baldwin and Sharon Stone and these, you know, room temperature IQ losers say, oh, well, you know, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. can't be HHS secretary because what's going to happen to public health?
We're going to, I don't know, have pandemics.
Well, let's see on your guys's watch that happened because you created it because you hate this country and you're part of, I don't know, a globalist world order that didn't want Trump to win the 2020 election.
So you sent taxpayer dollars to the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
Are they going to sit there and say that, oh, no, we can't have people like Peter Navarro in charge of economic issues and tariffs are really bad because we're going to get, I don't know, crazy inflation and gas that people can't afford?
I guess they checked that box, too.
Or what?
We can't have people like Tulsi Gabbard run intelligence.
We can't have people like Pete Hegseth, right?
He's not qualified because what?
He doesn't sit on a Raytheon board seat?
He doesn't have experience working for Boeing or Lockheed Martin, right?
Oh, no, we're not going to have peace and stability because Pete Hegseth is over at the Pentagon.
You mean the peace and stability that we've seen unfold in, I don't know, Ukraine, the Middle East, the South China Sea, basically everywhere, including our own southern border?
They say that our movement is adolescent and naive.
Well, Sharon Stone, that shows how truly dumb you are to think that the MAGA movement was something that was, I don't know, just created out of thin air like yesterday.
This has been a decades-long struggle that you have been at the forefront of, Steve, of taking the Republican Party back and aligning it with the grassroots, taking it away from the donor class that people like Sharon Stone and Alec Baldwin represent to a T. Yeah.
steve bannon
Listen, they're over at Turin at a film festival.
When they go overseas, they've got to get haughty because they play the European elites in the European papers.
This is the European elites that we bailed out in World War I and World War II and the Cold War, and we're bailing them out again.
No more.
Game's over.
natalie winters
They're just looking for countries to be able to flee to when we prosecute them.
steve bannon
By the way, all the articles about the Cotswolds, the beautiful Cotswolds, are being infested with Ellen DeGeneres.
Hey, if you're going to leave the country, be like George Clooney.
Leave the country.
You didn't see us leave when the Justice Department came.
We will never leave the United States of America.
We're going to fight for her.
You're a bunch of gutless cowards.
You're all going to leave?
Leave.
And have the stones, Baldwin and Sharon, to come back to the United States and say that to our face.
Have the balls to come back and say it to the American people.
I'll tell you what.
We'll put a town hall on.
We'll get MAGA. We'll get working class African Americans, Hispanics, Asians, whites.
We'll get them there, and we'll get you up there and say it to their face.
What's your social media, Natalie?
I know you've got a bounce.
You're doing some other recording for us today.
Where do people get you?
natalie winters
Natalie G. Winters on all platforms.
steve bannon
Fantastic.
I'm not crazy by some of these articles leading with your rants and not mine.
I'm just saying it's all duly noted.
Just because I'm 71 today, right?

Whoever is unjust.
let him be unjust still.
Whoever is righteous, let him be righteous still.
Whoever is filthy, let him be filthy still.
Listen to the words written down when a man comes around.
Hear the trumpets, hear the pipers.
One hundred million angels singing.
Multitudes are marching to the big hill of Rome.
A voice is calling, and a voice is crying.
So is it song, and some have died.
Salfa and Omega's kingdom come.
And the whirlwind is in the thorn tree.
The virgins all are trimming their wits.
The whirlwind is in the thorn tree.
It's hard for thee to kick against the pricks.
