This is what you're fighting for.
I mean, every day you're out there.
What they're doing is blowing people off.
If you continue to look the other way and shut up, then the oppressors, the authoritarians get total control and total power.
Because this is just like in Arizona.
This is just like in Georgia.
It's another element that backs them into a quarter and shows their lies and misrepresentations.
This is why this audience is going to have to get engaged.
As we've told you, this is the fight.
unidentified
All this nonsense, all this spin, they can't handle the truth.
War Room.
Battleground.
Here's your host, Stephen K. Bannon.
steve bannon
Okay, Tuesday, 19 November, Year of Reload 2024.
Welcome to the 6 o'clock hour.
We're packed.
We're going to talk a little bit about Gates in a minute in this Ethics Committee tomorrow.
Philip Patrick joins us.
We've got to talk about Treasury because still the knives are out there.
Bunch of breaking reports of Kevin Warsh, Scott Besant, Lutnik just got chosen for Commerce.
Looks like the tariffs, part of the tariff situation may be reported to Commerce now.
I said before we left, for PublicSquare.com, it's PublicSquare.com, not PatriotSquare, PublicSquare.com, the patriot economy.
Companies that have your values, go check that out.
And of course, MyPatriotSupply.com is Joe Reek in the team for those looking for the great products on preparation.
Mike Lindell, Mike, the war and posse has been bugging me all day.
What kind of deals are you going to give people?
They love the deals so far, the free shipping, all of it.
What do you got for us, brother?
unidentified
Okay, we have no Mike Lindell.
steve bannon
I can do a monologue.
I can do a rant.
Okay, we're going to get these folks up in a minute.
unidentified
Well, let's continue, Ante.
steve bannon
Take a deep breath.
Let's get Philip Patrick, get our guest up.
Here's where we stand right now.
What we stand is that they're making tons of announcements coming out of Mar-a-Lago.
Today, you had the two co-chairs.
You had the two co-chairs, Linda McMahon from the WWE, Linda McMahon.
Remember, Linda put a couple hundred million dollars in Senate races in Connecticut.
Didn't win with Small Business Administration in the first term.
She is a fierce warrior.
She had the Department of Education.
It is fantastic she's over there.
I know they're going to staff out with an absolute great team.
Howard Lutnick from Cantor Fitzgerald is taking over the Commerce Department.
He's also going to have a big role in tariffs and trade.
We don't know where...
We don't know where Bob Lighthizer negotiated all the deals with Peter Navarro, Dr.
Navarro.
My understanding is Dr.
Navarro is working on a job in the White House to assist President Trump.
That's all to see if that plays out or not.
But Dr.
Navarro somehow will land somewhere on manufacturing and trade.
We'll report on that.
Tomorrow is Matt Gaetz, the initial one.
So they've got two more.
Dr.
Oz got an administrator dealing with Medicare and Medicaid.
Their heads are blown up about that.
The big one that's outstanding right now is that FBI director.
FBI director is Cash Patel versus Mike Rogers.
Also, I think Jason Chaffetz is still in the hunt.
And the Attorney General of Missouri, Andrew Bailey.
We'll see how that plays out.
We're obviously big Cash fans.
Government gangsters.
We want to learn about Cash Patel and Katie Britt's staff.
Should show her this.
They should rent it tonight and watch it.
Government Gangsters.
You go to warroomfilms.com.
You can get a DVD. You can stream it.
You can do anything you want.
It's on Salem now.
If Grace and Mo would be so kind to put it up in the live chat and people share it, let's get it out there so more people know Kash Patel.
It's off his best-selling book, Government Gangsters.
And it's a good prep.
It's a good preparation for...
Just understanding what we're up against and quite frankly where the investigations are going to be centered as he takes on the FBI, he takes on DOJ, etc.
Do I have, is it Lindell we have up or Philip Patrick?
Mike Lindell, thank you for joining us sir.
Can you talk to us about pillows?
mike lindell
Steve, I want to comment a little bit.
I was just watching your show the last hour and you were talking about all the races they're trying to take in California.
I want people to know that we are involved in every one of them trying to stop what they're doing.
And I just wanted to tell you that people call me all the time, say, Mike, are you guys still going after this?
steve bannon
But hang on, hang on.
Tell me how you're stopping it, because every day they're finding new ballots, whether it's in Pennsylvania or California.
These guys are relentless.
They're trying to flip a couple more House seats, make it even closer, and they're trying to take down our great presidents.
On TV, while we're in break, they're mocking the president, saying, oh, Trump's under 50%.
You know, he doesn't have a mandate.
So tell me what you're doing specifically to stop it.
mike lindell
Very specifically, we're gathering all the information and people on the ground in all the places, whether this will lead to taking this information, whether it leads to lawsuits or to what we had before.
Remember, none of the judges in the last four years would look at stuff based on merit.
They'd kick you out for standing.
Can't even look at that.
Or they would sanction you.
It's different this time around.
We have not stopped looking at every single race that's out there that they're in the process of stealing or that they tried to steal, but they didn't have enough to steal.
So basically, Steve, it's very much gathering that information, the plan we had from the beginning, and taking that now.
And we know what to do with it after the fact here.
And they say, well, you've got to wait until they do it.
In the middle of it, can we get injunctions to stop them?
I don't know, but we have lawyers all over the place that are looking into that.
I just want people to know, we've got the Cause of America, the Election Bureau, all of us, they're all out there right now, watching, doing, gathering information.
Now, what we do with them, we know what we can do.
At the county level, Steve, At the county level, the sheriffs can get involved.
I mean, there's so many things we've laid out.
At lindellplan.com, if you go there, we've laid it all out.
And we have Alexis Nexus.
We have all these sites you can go to and check this out and see what's going on in your own state, in your own precinct, and in your own county.
unidentified
Fantastic.
steve bannon
People got to be on it, because what they're doing now is trying to drive the vote below 50%.
They're going to say, hey, Trump didn't have a mandate.
And they're going to try to take this House seat out in California, and there's all kind of nefarious activity in Pennsylvania.
Cleta Mitchell is going to join us at the bottom of the hour to discuss that.
Mike, talk to me about pillows.
mike lindell
Yeah, and the War Room Posse, I can't thank you enough, Doreen, to even have time to be involved with all the election stuff right now because you made it possible that I don't have to sit back and worry about my pillow and my employees.
We've hired, this is another news, another 30 employees this week.
So you guys have made us one of the busiest companies.
Again, we want to thank you all.
And how are we going to thank you?
Well, remember, what made us famous, the MyPillow, we sold over $84 million now for $14.88.
But we're going to add on to that, free shipping on your entire order.
And this is what, there it is.
We're bringing back the classic collection sale.
You got the standards $14.88, Queens $18.88, King size $19.88.
The multi-use, $9.88.
And the body pillow is $29.88.
Promo code WARROOM gets you free shipping on your entire order.
Get every bedroom in your house, every bed covered.
Buy your neighbors pillows.
You should be buying everyone pillows for Christmas so they get the best sleep.
So everyone's feeling pretty good about the election.
But you know what?
You need great rest for where we're at and where we're going and what we've got to do when this fight isn't over.
So there it is, the biggest sale in the history of MyPillow, adding on that free shipping on your entire order.
Go to the website.
You guys have all took advantage of the big ticket item.
There's the flannel sheets, Steve's favorite, right there.
Remember, and by the way, I just found out the last shipment of them came in this morning, so they are going fast.
Get those on sale with the War Room promo code.
The mattress toppers, get yourself the best gift ever.
Get those mattress toppers on sale with free shipping right now or any bed.
Get yourself a bed so you can celebrate early for Christmas and get the best sleep of your life.
But all the USA made socks and the bathrobes came in.
So you guys, promo code WARROOM. Steve, I'm so excited because we're breaking sales records right now.
And it's all because of, I believe, the war room policy was one of the number one reasons behind that.
And you guys were there when I needed you the most, when my employees needed you the most.
And I want to thank you so much because I couldn't have done anything else with the elections if I didn't have the war room support in my pillow every day.
steve bannon
Love you, Mike Lindell.
Keep fighting.
Tell the folks right there we love them.
We'll see you tomorrow morning.
We'll see you tomorrow morning on the show.
Mike Lindell, CEO of MyPillow.
Philip Patrick, you've been ringside with us.
I've got to ask you.
There is a knife fight going on for Secretary of Treasury, NEC, all the big financial jobs.
Howard Lutnick just announced, he's the co-chair of the transition, just announced as Commerce Secretary, and it looks like the Office of Trade Rep, I believe the way I read it, is put underneath it.
If Lighthizer takes a role, I'm probably at the White House.
I know Dr.
Navarro is talking about something at the White House, NEC. So walk through.
The candidates still outside are, I think, Mark Rowan.
Who is head of Apollo.
You've got Hagerty, secretary of, excuse me, senator from Tennessee.
You have Kevin Warsh.
Kevin was a senior executive at a couple of banks and was the short, he was the cover bid The cover bid for the Federal Reserve job that Powell took, and obviously that was a catastrophic mistake.
And of course you got Scott Besant and then Peter Navarro maybe at NEC. How do you, from a precious metals perspective and someone that is an expert in how to hedge problems, how do you see that financial team?
phillip patrick
Look, it's a strong team and much, much stronger than what we've got at the moment.
It's encouraging, to say the least.
Last I checked, at least on the betting markets, and you'll know more than me, Steve, of course, but it seemed to be a dogfight between Kevin Walsh and Scott Besson, both decent candidates.
If I had to pick a dog in the fight, for me, the guy would probably be Besson.
I think he brings with him a fresh perspective.
This is a non-traditional candidate.
It's a private sector guy, not a political or bureaucratic guy.
And I think that there's a chance he could inject some innovative approaches into the Treasury Department.
Of course, he has deep financial expertise.
This guy managed the Soros Investment Fund, billions in assets under management.
And I think perhaps most importantly of all, his strategy tends to align most closely with Trump's, right?
He is a pro-growth, market-friendly policy guy, and I think it resonates with Trump's So, Scott Besson has said this and President Trump has said this and Larry Kudlow has said this, that this is the last opportunity we have.
steve bannon
Really as an economy or a country because of how debt has metastasized to have what we call a supply-side tax cut, something that looks to the production side to try to drive that and incentivize entrepreneurs and companies to ramp up production.
Given that, that we know that the overall framework or the framing of this is that these are people that look at the world through supply side, what is your recommendation?
What should the fiscal priorities for President Trump and his team be, sir?
phillip patrick
Look, I think there's a number of different things.
As they say in first-day training, first, you've got to stop the bleeding, right?
The federal government right now is hemorrhaging funds.
Trump has to slap some bandages, cauterize some wounds.
He's got to claw back as much of the unspent COVID funds, chips and infrastructure funds, and reallocate that unspent money into meaningful programs that will boost the economy.
We have to close the border, right?
It's not directly a fiscal policy, but putting an end to mass illegal immigration will save the nation trillions of dollars in welfare spending, At the end of the day, illegal immigration is a massive drain on public resources, and we need to open up public lands to energy exploration.
Drill, drill, drill, as the administration is saying.
The US ranks first in the world in recoverable oil reserves.
We are in the top five for unexplored natural gas reserves.
Exploiting these resources will lower costs here at home and increase our national wealth longer term.
So in sum, end wasteful spending, shut down drains on our resources, and start growing the economy in a meaningful way.
If anybody can do it, this team will do it.
But it is an uphill battle.
Slashing spending alone is not going to do it.
They could fire every federal employee.
It's not going to plug that $2 trillion deficit.
So we need growth to get out of this mess.
steve bannon
President Trump and his team in the first, I don't know, month, four weeks, five weeks, after he takes the oath, you're going to hit the debt ceiling.
You still got to, if we do the CR, which I think is the way to do it, kick it into the new year, like President Trump's team.
The 2025 budget has not been done yet.
You got to wrestle with what the deficit's going to be there.
You've got the Doge team.
That's what I'm saying.
They ought to merge into one process.
Plus, you've got the tax cuts, particularly the tax cuts for the middle class and working class, all revert by, I think, April.
By April 15th, they're gone.
So, a monumental structural issues to deal with besides the southern border and the deportations and the geopolitical situation and this metastasizing war in Ukraine.
The fiscal and financial have to be dealt with first.
That's why he has to have a team And I think the team has to have their own points of view, but also listen to President Trump because he's the one who's got to lead politically.
It's a minefield.
And Biden's left team, and people say, well, it's such a great economy.
It's all pumped up by fiat currency.
It's all pumped up by—if you look at—Philip, you and I talk about this all the time— Almost all these jobs, either government jobs or government-adjacent jobs, have been created.
The real underlying productivity of America is not there.
It's just not.
And that's why people, you talk to business people, the commercial real estate market's tanked, right?
People sitting on a trillion, I think $1.2 trillion of non-performing rents and loans in bad loans in commercial real estate.
unidentified
Why?
steve bannon
Because the economy's not productive.
People know this.
Folks know that.
You can't fool them.
This is one of the reasons they voted for Trump on every night on TV. It's, oh, the economy's great.
The economy's great.
It's great for the uber-wealthy, but not otherwise.
So I want to make sure people have the opportunity in this time of stress.
It's going to get a lot worse.
And President Trump and his team is going to chop us the wood through here, but it's going to be tough.
Of how they know how to hedge and where they go and what you guys can do in talking them through, whether it's an IRA, 401k or whatever, on precious metals and gold.
Where do they go?
How do they contact you?
And how do they build a working relationship?
phillip patrick
It's really simple.
It all starts with information.
So we know we text Bannon to 989898 or go to birchgold.com forward slash Bannon.
Again, birchgold.com forward slash Bannon.
That will get them access to information, free information on how and why to invest in precious metals.
We talk a lot about debt.
We're talking about deficits.
We're talking about de-dollarization around the world.
These things are not going away overnight.
And precious metals is how one protects in times like this.
So all they have to do is reach out.
That'll get them access to the information.
And from there, if they want to learn more, they have access to a lot of people like myself, as you know, Steve, who are there to guide them through, answer questions, and hold hands and make the process easy.
steve bannon
Thank you, brother.
Birchgold.com slash Bannon.
Go check it out now.
Or Bannon at 989898.
Whatever's easiest for you.
Philip Patrick, thank you for coming on and helping us guide through the wilderness of finance and economics.
Philip Patrick.
I hope we don't lose him to the administration.
I'm sure he's in the shortlist for a bunch of potential officers.
Philip Patrick over Birchgold.
Let's play Russ Vogt, one of our regular contributors here over at CRA. He's made the news this afternoon.
Let's watch it.
We're bringing our own sunny, blonde Natalie Winters.
Let's go and play that.
nicolle wallace
Trump is now welcoming one of the chief architects of Project 2025's 900-page radical, deeply polarizing and unpopular agenda to potentially play a starring high-profile role in his new administration.
ABC News is reporting this.
Who authored a chapter on executive office of the president for Project 2025's mandate for leadership, the conservative promise, is under consideration for a cabinet-level position in the next administration and has been vetted by Trump's transition team, sources say.
They add this, Vought not only authored a chapter, but he was also deeply involved in drafting Project 2025's playbook for the first 180 days of a new Trump administration.
He's now one of several Project 2025 alums being considered for crucial, high-profile roles in the Trump cabinet.
Joining our conversation is former Congressman from Florida, MSNBC political analyst David Jolly.
Angelo Carison is still with us.
David Jolly, your thoughts.
unidentified
Look, in normal political times, even if you take the Republican Revolution of the 90s and their contract with America, a lot of this would be policy debate about the role of government and the role of federal agencies and what we spend money on.
But in a Trump era of politics, it is now laced with this idea of a powerful unitary executive Where the authors of Project 2025, Donald Trump might say he didn't know anything about it, but he's hiring all the people who wrote it.
And so their view of government, the people he is surrounding himself, you know, the old axiom in politics, personnel is policy.
Donald Trump is surrounding himself with people who have very aggressive constitutional ideas, as well as very aggressive views of the role of government.
And simply on the latter, they would be happy to kind of pull the rug out from most government services if they could If they can get that through Congress.
But even what they can't get through Congress is where a lot of the people who created Project 2025 that are clearly now in Donald Trump's inner circle, the idea of a powerful unitary executive or the idea that the president himself Is now vested with all of these powers is something that used to be anathema to Republicans.
If you go back to the 90s, to the contract with America, it was about resisting additional powers to the presidency, keeping them within Congress.
That was truer to the vision of how we founded the nation when we broke from a monarch.
But under Project 2025 and Donald Trump's That's where this begins to test some real constitutional limits.
And the one thing about Project 2025, these are not dumb people.
They are ready to test the constitutional limits, and they believe that they have a court system now that will probably grant them their blessing.
steve bannon
Did I mention why these judges are so important?
This fight that's taking place in the Capitol this evening, all hands on deck.
And when I say all hands, it means all hands on deck.
These are going to be late nights.
The Democrats are prepared to go all night.
And David Jolly, who's a pretty smart guy himself, he's an apostate.
Former Republican who's not MAGA, who's obviously an elitist globalist, but right there he walked through the theory of the case of this whole concept of the unitary executive.
That is one central issue.
What I would say is this is focused on the deconstruction of the administrative state, something that has metastasized for so many decades.
Let me go to Natalie.
Get me up to speed.
Cleta Mitchell, she's in the House.
Cletus is going to join us and she's going to send the rest of the show with us.
We'll particularly talk about this, but most importantly, they're stealing elections even as we speak.
In Pennsylvania, I just heard that the congressman out in California may lose a seat by under 100 votes.
This is outrageous.
Tomorrow, Natalie Winters, the Ethics Committee is going to meet and they're going to vote and they're going to try to shove this report out.
What's the latest that you hear on the Matt Gaetz confirmation, ma'am?
natalie winters
Sure.
Well, may I just say, whenever you hear Republicans say, what is it, bipartisan, comprehensive immigration reform, or if you hear Democrats talk about anything being unconstitutional, full stop, these people never care about the Constitution in the first place.
So if that's their first line of defense coming out against the Project 2025 agenda, it shows you how weak their arguments are and how this is and always has been, not just lawfare, but political warfare.
In the case of Matt Gaetz, tomorrow you have The ethics panel, the ethics committee, convening not necessarily to have a vote.
They could potentially vote on releasing the report.
Of course, 100-plus Democratic lawmakers have signed letters encouraging the release of the report.
They got the whole peanut gallery of a bunch of sexual assault and rape activist-type groups signing letters trying to push for the report.
All it would take is just one Republican member of the panel to vote on To allow the report to be released, which would sort of be unprecedented.
The top Democrat who chairs the committee has come out saying that she does indeed think that this report needs to be released.
But even if there's some issue tomorrow, they actually decide to not vote on it, there is a way that they could potentially do a workaround.
Any member of Congress could go to the floor to tee up a vote on a privileged resolution that could force the Ethics Committee to sort of circumnavigate a way to release the report.
steve bannon
What is your sense on Hegseth?
Our position here at War Room is march or die.
When President Trump puts forward a nominee, that nominee is going to be confirmed by the United States Senate, and we cannot sit there and just start to waver in any of these.
What are you hearing, Natalie, on either Hegseth, Gates, Any of the others?
Tulsi, Noem, and even Bobby Kennedy have kind of taken a backseat here from the Gabbert-Gates-Hexeth trio.
Any update?
natalie winters
Well, Steve, humble suggestion.
I said this when I was hosting Battleground, but I think that we should rename this show to War Room Retribution instead of War Room Battleground, because that is what we are going to be getting, because these nominees will be confirmed.
Like we were talking about earlier today on The Morning Show, what you're seeing going on now is just a continuation of the lawfare legacy that the left has waged against not just President Donald Trump, but the populist movement much more broadly than for years and matt gates not just one of president trump's staunchest allies in congress but this is someone who has taken on confronted face to face you know stood down the nine barrel shotguns as president trump was saying about liz cheney and won when it came to the first impeachment of president trump and
that's why they're so scared of him and might i just add steve i think it's quite rich and i'm gonna play my woman card here because i'm allowed to I'm sorry.
Let's investigate every other member of Congress on their, shall we say, untoward dealings in the realm of what?
Sex trafficking, human trafficking.
I'd start with the Democratic Party.
And you know who else I'd look at?
Not just Hunter Biden, but the entire Biden DOJ, who went out of their way just last year to what?
Wipe information from their quote, citizen's guide to child sex trafficking laws.
That was from the DOJ website.
And also remove from their areas of top concern, quote, international sex trafficking of minors, domestic sex trafficking of minors, and child victims of prostitution.
So this newfound sense that, I don't know, Democrats and that established Republicans care so much about, oh, evil sex traffickers.
Matt Gaetz is not a sex trafficker, but I would encourage that those people use that same newfound sense of urgency to investigate Matt Gaetz with such hatred and vitriol to go after actual deranged perverts who I'm sure this audience knows full well flood the halls of that hallowed institution that is the United States Congress every single day.
steve bannon
Natalie Winters, your social media so people can follow you before tomorrow's show.
natalie winters
Natalie G. Winters on all social media platforms.
steve bannon
Natalie, thanks.
We'll see you tomorrow.
unidentified
Natalie Winters, my co-host here and executive editor of the Forum site.
steve bannon
We're going to take a short commercial break.
Cleet is in the house.
We're going to talk elections.
Hey, one thing about the Democrats, they're relentless.
And they are there from Pennsylvania, from sea to shining sea.
They are still at work trying to steal races, even as we speak, and force President Trump under 50%, which is going to say, you don't need a mandate.
They'll create as many ballots as they have to.
All next, Cleta Mitchell in the War Room.
unidentified
All this nonsense, all this spin, they can't handle the truth.
War Room Battleground with Stephen K. Bannon.
steve bannon
Okay, welcome back.
Jim Rickards, one of my favorite contributors, and hey, maybe one of the contributors is not going to go inside the Trump 2.0, the Trump administration.
We've got to keep some out.
Heck, I don't know if Rickards could end up over the sea.
I never know where he'll pop up.
Meltdown24.com, you get access to Rickards' newsletters, and he's got all types of newsletters.
In fact, specialty letters, he's got the general newsletter he puts out.
If you like the combination of geopolitics and global capital markets, It's a must-read, plus all his books.
So go to Jim Records at Paradigm Press, but it's Meltdown 24.
I just had to get a simpler title, and it is a meltdown.
Meltdown at Capitol Hill right now with the progressive forces in meltdown, but man, they're putting up a good rearguard action.
Meltdown 2024.
Cleta Mitchell.
First off, let's get a sit-rep on where we stand, because man, I'm telling you, You think this thing's over, and it's never over.
They're still in Pennsylvania, in Palace Verdes, I think it is.
The congressman there, it's 100 votes, it's 99 votes, and the Democrats, all of a sudden, you're still generating, and you've got ballots coming in.
Give us an update on where we stand, and particularly in this fight to keep President Trump over 50 percent, because they're going to say, wait, no mandate under 50 percent.
Where are we?
cleta mitchell
Well, let's start with Pennsylvania.
They're only doing the recount for the Senate race in Pennsylvania.
And the Supreme Court, surprisingly yesterday, last night, told the counties that they had made their decision some weeks ago that absentee ballots had to be received by We're good to go.
In Bucks County who said, well, I know what the court said the law is, but people break the law all the time, so I'm going to vote that we're going to count these ballots anyway.
And the Supreme Court, I don't think they took kindly to that.
So those ballots have been ordered to be removed from the count.
But today, remember what Mark Elias has done this before, by the way, Steve.
This is what he did in Minnesota in 2008 when Norm Coleman had won re-election to the Senate.
steve bannon
He beat Coleman by 300 votes, right?
cleta mitchell
Well, Coleman had won on Election Day.
Mark Elias goes in.
This is how Al Franken got into the Senate.
And what he did was he just kept finding ballots, finding votes, and got a judge to let him count all the provisionals, all the absentees, until they got enough to take Norm Coleman out of the Senate.
steve bannon
So are we sure that McCormick's going to win here?
I mean, what's the status?
cleta mitchell
Well, the McCormick lawyers seem to think that the margin is $15,000 now.
They don't seem to think that Casey can overcome that.
However, today...
steve bannon
It's the $15,000 in Pennsylvania, nothing.
They can create that.
They'll be generating them ballots overnight.
unidentified
Wow.
cleta mitchell
Well, that's the problem.
steve bannon
They stole it from Trump in 2020.
You saw it.
unidentified
We watched it.
steve bannon
People went to bed.
He was 833,000 up.
And you get up at 6 o'clock in the morning and by all of a sudden, Biden's making things open up where in the hell these things came from.
And by Saturday afternoon, they called it, right?
Pennsylvania?
No way.
cleta mitchell
Exactly.
And so today, what Mark Elias did today was now he pivoted to dealing with provisional ballots that were cast in person on election day, had not been counted, and they went back, well they've been counted if they, a provisional ballot is issued if your voter registration is wrong or you don't sign it or there's something, some problem.
You vote in the wrong county, you vote in the wrong precinct.
They're allowed to vote on statewide elections only.
But if they're not signed, as they're supposed to be, then they're not allowed under law to be counted.
So they went into some counties today, only in blue counties, not in red counties, but in blue counties, and argued that the election boards should agree to count the provisional ballots, even if they weren't signed, but only in certain counties.
So now, I don't know if they're going to go back to court.
steve bannon
But who's up there looking after McCormick's interest, the RNC's interest, the president's interest?
Is somebody on top of this?
cleta mitchell
Well, they have a lot of lawyers.
The RNC has lawyers.
McCormick has lawyers.
I know that a lot of the lawyers were dismissed after President Trump won on Election Day.
And then there was an urgent call for people to come back.
But once Casey said he wasn't going to concede and Mark Elias said he was going to Pennsylvania, so they called people back.
But, look, I mean, I'm just always very nervous because I know Mark Elias has absolutely no hesitation whatsoever to do whatever the hell he needs to do.
steve bannon
I want a guy like that on my side.
cleta mitchell
Well, absolutely.
unidentified
I hate to say it.
steve bannon
I hate to say it.
cleta mitchell
I agree.
steve bannon
I want one of them.
I want one of them.
California now, is it Lee?
Michelle Lee?
cleta mitchell
Who's it?
Michelle Steele, I think.
steve bannon
Michelle Steele, right.
Voted, married to the, from Palos Verdes, I think, married to the former chairman of the state party.
She's a warrior.
cleta mitchell
Yes, she is.
steve bannon
I think it's down to 98 votes, right?
98 ballots.
unidentified
Right.
steve bannon
There's going to steal that in front of our eyes, are they not?
cleta mitchell
Well, look at California, and it answers your own question.
I mean, these places are a nightmare.
There's no ballot security.
There's no ballot integrity.
They keep getting ballots in.
You know, they have this ridiculous federal statute on the...
It's supposed to be the military vote, but it turns out the military component of it is now down to about 15%.
It's mainly overseas people who may or may not be citizens of the United States, and they are allowed to turn in ballots in North Carolina.
In North Carolina, we have a Republican Supreme Court candidate who was leading at the end of Election Day by 6,000 votes.
That is now down to 28 votes because the State Board of Elections was still receiving ballots as of last Thursday, and they stopped publishing the required data to be able to know whether those are legitimate Okay, but what are we doing to stop that happen?
steve bannon
You folks in North Carolina are pretty on top of things.
cleta mitchell
The people in the election integrity movement are on top of it.
They're the ones who have the data.
They're the ones who've been raising questions about this.
I just have to say that sometimes the people who have been doing this a long time, who are more establishment, shall we say, they're too timid.
They're very timid.
We worked really hard to try to get them to get the State Board of Elections to publish all the data.
They didn't do it.
You know, see, sometimes I just think...
I don't know what we do about the establishment to make them understand the war we're in.
I just don't quite understand it.
steve bannon
Okay, my theory of the case is you can't.
They're grown men and women.
They're grown-ass men and women, as we say in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
And if they don't understand we're in a war, then you've got to be replaced.
We did it in the precinct strategy.
I think we now need to do it.
In the election integrity, you need warriors.
Where we closed the deal in certain states, you had the people around the counting table, and there was, as they try to do funny business, because if they can't steal it, they can't win.
Mark Elias knows this.
cleta mitchell
That's exactly right.
steve bannon
So if they can't steal it, they can't win.
They got that.
They're smart people.
We just need as many tough people as possible.
I want you to, the reason I wanted to have you through here today was not just an update.
You have been working on a project and you're very tight with the RNC and you're very tight with Bill McGinley and going to be the White House counsel.
It was a great pick.
One of the reasons President Trump closed the deal, we closed in 16 and we closed in 24.
Not just that President Trump delivered the vote and the grassroots turnout with grassroots operations because we didn't have really that much money in either time.
We had lawyers.
At that time, it was Don McGinn.
His wingman was Bill McGinley.
We were ready to go.
We had stuff drafted.
Even in this tight things in Michigan and Wisconsin, they didn't even come try to cross us because they knew we were ready.
In 2024, Bill McGinley stepped up.
He did it.
He ran that whole group over the RNC and at the campaign.
It wasn't like 20.
You had lawyers on top of things, and now he's White House counsel.
And as President Trump said, this is still a priority for me.
We closed 24, although they're out there right now trying to take his vote down below 50 percent and try to pick up another Senate seat and steal a couple of House seats.
In Supreme Court and other stuff around the country, it's a high priority.
So given your relationship with everybody, you are talking about a bill and a law.
Now, when you talk to MAGA or conservatives, and particularly we're trying to deconstruct the administrative state, We're trying to make this place smaller and focus on liberty.
And now our girl Cleta walks in, who we love and cherish, and she's saying, hey, I want to talk about a federal law over elections.
We sit there and go, oh my God, no, we can't do it.
So make your case.
Why it's federal law that screwed this thing up and why that has to be reverted.
The floor is yours, ma'am.
cleta mitchell
For over three decades, we have basically four federal statutes that have completely wrecked our elections.
Let's start with the National Voter Registration Act.
Remember, this is Motor Voter.
And this is the law that requires voter registration at every Department of Motor Vehicles.
You get your driver's license, you get registered to vote.
And at social services agencies, where they hand out welfare benefits.
That law needs to be overturned because that's the basis on which the Supreme Court ruled that states cannot require proof of citizenship.
So that needs to be repealed.
We need to require—we're not going to get rid of the registration at driver's license agencies.
That's fine.
Because of the real ID law, now the driver's agencies actually have citizenship data.
We need to require that before anybody is registered, that the driver's license agency has to make sure that this person is a citizen.
And we need to run the citizenship data in the voter rolls I mean, against the voter rolls in every state.
The driver's license agencies have the data.
And then what we have to do is we have to repeal the parts of the National Voter Registration Act that make it impossible to clean the voter rolls.
The reason our voter rolls are such a mess is because every election office in America for 30 years has been told you cannot take anybody off the rolls.
Even if they're non-citizens.
That's what the Department of Justice is.
steve bannon
This is a ticking time bomb because this is how in Nevada and other places.
unidentified
Yes.
steve bannon
This is in Pennsylvania.
When you have these corrupt voter rolls, they've got the names, funny names.
They can just generate ballots and use those names of people that no longer exist, don't belong in the state, dead beyond.
cleta mitchell
Nevada's the worst because everybody on the voter rolls gets a ballot.
Everybody.
You have hundreds of thousands of bad registrations and they all get ballots.
And there's very little transparency.
So these are things that Congress has put in place.
steve bannon
Okay, those are two.
You said there were three.
cleta mitchell
There's the Help America Vote Act.
Which, 22 years ago, is what Congress passed after the Bush v.
Gore election in 2000.
And it required, and appropriated money, required every state to get rid of the old punch card systems and the old voting equipment with the levers.
We could do that again today and require that we get rid of these touch screens.
We get rid of these insecure, problematic systems.
There is precedent for it, and Congress needs to...
steve bannon
Is this where I take out the machines?
cleta mitchell
Correct.
If you want to have hand-marked paper ballots and security...
steve bannon
Is that all three that have to come to cause a problem?
cleta mitchell
No, the other one is what is called UOCAVA, the Uniformed Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act.
Everybody thinks that that's for military.
Let me tell you something.
We need to have a law for the military.
Deployed military.
And we need to have a separate statute for overseas citizens.
They need to provide a copy of their valid passport.
They need to have to register.
If they've never been registered in state, they need to register at the State Department and cast a ballot for president counted in the District of Columbia.
steve bannon
Well, hang on.
But if I'm a city in the Commonwealth of Virginia, I just happen to be living in North Africa for a year on work.
cleta mitchell
That's different.
steve bannon
You're saying these are people that are actually living in that country permanently?
cleta mitchell
And have never lived in the United States.
They have never lived in the United States and have no plans to return.
unidentified
And they have to They're just foreigners.
cleta mitchell
Do you know how much money the Democrats invested this year in getting overseas?
How much?
Almost $2 million.
steve bannon
Okay.
So I got the motor voter registration and the social worker registration is one.
I got the clean voter rolls.
I got the machines to the Help America.
And then I've got this.
This is a rat's nest.
And you're saying, yo, Steve, this was all done by federal law.
unidentified
Yeah.
cleta mitchell
Congress broke it.
Congress needs to fix it.
steve bannon
Okay, so give me the Cletus.
Now I got it.
People tell me Cletus is trying to get a new federal law.
I go, that's not my Cletus.
But you're saying over 30 or 40 years, Congress has stepped in to do pieces.
And bad things.
Bad things.
They've got a rat's nest.
This has to be unwound.
What is the Cletus Mitchell law that you then want to put forward, and what does it take care of?
cleta mitchell
It takes care of, I think that, you know, all of the things that allow ballots to come in after Election Day, that's all been done by the federal government.
We need to stop that.
We need to make sure that we get rid of this ballot curing.
What is this?
You can come in and fix your ballot or somebody fixes it for you?
No, thank you.
That's all of these things have arisen because these federal statutes, but because what needs to happen is that Reconciliation is what the House and Senate are working on now.
They're working on a first 100 days program for the President.
I am praying, I am asking everyone I can ask, include election reform.
In this bill, in reconciliation.
Oh, wow.
steve bannon
Hang on.
Whoa.
Talk about reconciliation.
unidentified
Okay.
steve bannon
Normally, it's a lot of bad things happen.
unidentified
It is.
steve bannon
It is.
cleta mitchell
It's not the same as the continuing resolution.
It's reconciliation.
No.
steve bannon
But it's reconciliation, but it's another thing that normally...
cleta mitchell
We hate.
steve bannon
...not good things happen, okay?
We get jammed up on reconciliation.
unidentified
Correct.
steve bannon
Now they're talking about doing tax cuts and all that.
cleta mitchell
Immigration reform, deconstruction of the administrative state.
steve bannon
The reconciliation bill.
unidentified
Yes.
steve bannon
Because you don't have to break cloture.
You don't...
cleta mitchell
You don't have to have 60 votes in the Senate.
steve bannon
This is a workaround of the filibuster.
So, ladies and gentlemen, put in your calendar...
There's going to be a...
I think the first time we can do it is in early 2025.
Correct.
Write it down.
There's going to be a weekend that they will be burning down this Capitol.
The Democrats will be out in the biggest protest you've ever seen.
cleta mitchell
That's right.
steve bannon
Because right now, there are people I know that are working on, I don't know, policies that I think the War Room Posse would love and nurture, and it's all going to jam into one building.
So, hold it.
And so, Cleta's...
Part of the reconciliation bill would include what?
cleta mitchell
It would include the things that I've talked about.
steve bannon
Turn all those around.
cleta mitchell
All of those things.
steve bannon
Including getting rid of the machines, cleaning up the voter rolls, no immediate registration at a welfare office or something, and shut down this whole crap about these people living overseas forever, never living in the United States, or if they do vote, it comes through the District of Columbia...
cleta mitchell
So what?
We don't care.
steve bannon
So here, I still vote in the District of Columbia.
I'm going to move it to a state that it counts in.
But I looked the other day.
I'm not sure they've counted my votes in the last couple elections because there's so few Republicans that – because in D.C. they just throw them out.
They know who you are.
I think in my section it was like we had like three votes in the election.
cleta mitchell
Well, you know that President Trump got 6% in the District of Columbia this year.
steve bannon
This time it's a huge thing.
unidentified
And you know what?
cleta mitchell
That's huge because Romney got 3%.
He doubled Romney.
steve bannon
Well, that's what I thought they'd count them all.
cleta mitchell
And let me tell you one other thing.
We've got to do something about the census.
We have to say that there is a citizenship question on the census.
steve bannon
Come on, lady.
I was the citizen-questioned guy that worked for us.
After we did the travel ban, I said, President Trump's going to do...
And we had it.
We had it, and they blinked after we got out.
Wilbur Ross and the Department of Commerce, and they came back and they gave President Trump totally wrong information, and we took that.
The only way you're going to get this thing sorted...
cleta mitchell
Is in a statute.
steve bannon
In a statute, and you've got to...
cleta mitchell
And you've got to do it right away.
steve bannon
And you must have that question in the census.
cleta mitchell
That's right.
steve bannon
What kind of change will that make in the next census that we're going to do in a couple of years?
cleta mitchell
Well, here's the next thing we have to do, is we have to say that apportionment of House seats must be done on the basis of citizen population, not total population.
If we required representation in the Congress...
To be based on citizens.
California and these states that have these huge illegal populations would no longer get to count those for purposes of political power.
steve bannon
This is so, Warren Posse, we only bring you in for the tough ones and the important ones.
Alex de Grasse, because I'm sitting there going about how much they're trying to steal on these things, the great young Alex de Grasse, Who I think I can announce is not going to go to the United Nations with Stefanik.
Stefanik's terrific, but Alex is going to continue to work because he's a rock star.
I asked him this very question.
I said, I've got Klita coming on today.
She's talking about a new bill.
I think part of that bill is going to be my question about citizenship because it's logical and you have to do it.
cleta mitchell
You have to do it.
steve bannon
I asked him, I said, Alex, on these Democrat gerrymandered districts that count this stuff, how many seats are we talking about that would be realigned automatically to Republicans?
He goes at least 12.
cleta mitchell
Yes.
steve bannon
A dozen.
cleta mitchell
Yes.
steve bannon
In the biggest states that have the problem, California and Illinois to start off with.
He also said New Jersey.
But 12, we're talking about something that delivered 12, with nothing else changing.
cleta mitchell
Right.
steve bannon
12 seats.
cleta mitchell
Right.
steve bannon
This is so huge.
unidentified
It is huge.
steve bannon
Now, where do you stand?
We've got to bounce up.
You're going to sit here and we're going to talk for a few minutes after the show.
How far down the path?
You're here.
cleta mitchell
This is what I'm doing here this week.
I'm talking to people.
I'm just banging on doors.
steve bannon
The thing about Cleta, she comes out of a very genteel, you know, she's living in North Carolina, she's a very genteel Southerner.
She's like a rash.
When she's on something, man, she's relentless.
Are we going to get this bill?
Are we going to get something?
cleta mitchell
Well, I'll tell you at the end of the week.
steve bannon
You have that spark on your eyes.
The answer is something's working.
cleta mitchell
Well, I'll tell you, and then we need to get the president to sign up.
steve bannon
Okay, you're going to be with us tomorrow night.
