Donald Trump returns to the White House.
One employee tells CNN, quote, there is a feeling of dread among everyone.
CNN's Renee Marsh is with us now.
Renee, what are you hearing?
Well, John, we are in a new dystopian hellscape.
That is from a federal employee via text message last night.
And that is the mindset of many of the two million federal workers anticipating Donald Trump's return to office.
Now, to be clear, What Donald Trump is promising for federal workers is unlike anything we have seen in our lifetime.
He's proposing reverting to a structure of government that existed 141 years ago when political parties gave government jobs to their supporters.
And that's what has federal workers who I'm speaking to so anxious and so scared about Trump's plan known as Schedule F. Now, it would give him the power to start these mass firings of nonpartisan career employees perceived as disloyal who may get in the way of his policy actions at these agencies.
As you know, Trump has obsessed on the campaign trail about the idea of federal workers being agents of the deep state working against him and his agenda.
Now, some of the employees who lived through the first Trump administration say they are experiencing PTSD, One saying, quote, we are absolutely having conversations amongst ourselves about whether we can stomach a round two.
That's what one government employee told me.
But it's not just the mass firings.
We expect to see a second Trump presidency.
We'll also mean mass transfers of senior executives, relocation of agency offices, something we saw the first time around.
steve bannon
This is the primal scream of a dying regime.
unidentified
Pray for our enemies, because we're going medieval on these people.
steve bannon
Here's one time I got a free shot at all these networks lying about the people.
The people have had a belly full of it.
I know you don't like hearing that.
I know you try to do everything in the world to stop that, but you're not going to stop it.
It's going to happen.
jake tapper
And where do people like that go to share the big lie?
unidentified
MAGA media.
I wish in my soul, I wish that any of these people had a conscience Ask yourself, what is my task and what is my purpose?
steve bannon
If that answer is to save my country, this country will be saved.
In the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, the guns fell silent in Europe.
Actually, throughout the world on...
World War I. Armistice Day, which we've now turned into Veterans Day, remember it's very different than Memorial Day.
Memorial Day is for our honored dead in all the wars of America.
Veterans Day is to support and Honor our veterans.
And as we're a veteran-centric show, we normally do two hours, four hours a day all on it.
There's so much work to be done, and we need people to the ramparts this morning.
We are going to do part of our Veterans Day special.
We're going to do it at 11 o'clock.
Captain Mo Bannon and others are going to join me in that hour.
We're going to do some stuff and then cut in and out, but I got...
Hopefully Mike Davis and Benny Johnson are going to join me in the first hour.
There's a lot going on.
Number one, let's pull the camera back and understand what's going on here.
And this is why we need the Warren Posse up on the ramparts this morning.
There's the three branches of government.
The executive branch, right?
The legislative branch, and the judicial branch.
We have been called, and President Trump has been mocked from day one, as being anti-institutionalist.
That, you know, that the purveyors of the established order are the adults in the room.
And that President Trump is chaos.
That President Trump is a disruptor.
What President Trump is, and you see this from his first term on his economics in geopolitics, we had peace and prosperity.
Amazing prosperity in 2018 and 2019 from the tax cuts and also getting the balance sheet of the Federal Reserve in order.
We had peace as President Trump worked with some of the The hardest cases and the hardest nuts in the world, that'd be the KGB in Moscow, the mullahs in Persia, in Tehran, and of course the Chinese Communist Party in Beijing, as he backed them off, including the surrogate of the Chinese Communist Party, North Korea, to have peace.
And President Trump knew the institutions of finance and economics, used it, supported it.
He also knew the institution of alliances.
That's why President Trump actually saved NATO.
And who tells us that?
The General Secretary of NATO.
By having the European elites finally have to face fact that if you want to have defense, you can't be a protectorate of the United States.
You have to stand on your own two feet.
The United States is an ally.
We have an alliance.
But we're not an empire, okay?
And you're not a protectorate in that empire.
You must step up, and that was the whole 2% of the spending.
So President Trump, he wants to, you know, reform these institutions, in some cases, reconstruct them, or as we say, deconstruct them, as they've gotten out of control, and metastasize, particularly in the executive branch for something the founders never envisioned and the framers of the Constitution and the revolutionary generation would be adamantly against.
And that is this fourth branch of government, which we call the administrative state.
And of course, it's rogue element, the deep state, which is a combination of certain parts of the Defense Department, the intelligence community, law enforcement, all of it.
President Trump is an institutionalist, and he's in process of taking charge of the institutions of government, as he should.
He just won a sweeping victory.
What they're doing and other shows are doing this and doing a great job of the meltdown of the left.
And it's, you know, Morning Joe now is sitting there.
They got a Maureen Dowd column from the New York Times to talk about how woke, you know, destroyed the Democratic Party and they shouldn't have done it.
And Morning Mika and Joe are sitting there, of course, of course, like it never happened.
That's fine, but we don't need to help them with their autopsy.
They could be in the wilderness now for a decade.
Obviously, we have to make sure we defeat Hakeem Jeffries, who's going to come back.
As I told you, the one direct point they're going to come back is try to take the House in two years, because now I think we've secured the House, not by much, a couple of seats, very tight.
At least Stefanik, in fact, has announced, President Trump announced that she's going to the United Nations.
And hey, she's just not going as a Nikki Haley TV personality to New York.
I believe you're going to see Elise Stefanik in the theme of reform and reconstruction or reconstitution.
I believe Elise Stefanik will actually be a flamethrower, not just in New York, but also in Geneva, where the power of the UN is in these agencies like, wait for it, the World Health Organization.
I think Stefanik's a perfect choice.
She's going to leave Congress, will be replaced.
But President Trump, I think, is very, very focused on the institutions and the institutions of power in this government.
Over the weekend, it should not be lost on people that Nikki Haley and Mike Pompeo, and I said, look, President Trump gets to select the team he wants.
I think people did a great job, and I think particularly Dan Scavino, and Dan Scavino is getting to be a more and more important player every day.
Because you've got Don Jr., you've got Elon Musk, you've got Tucker Carlson, you have Robert F. Kennedy Jr., you have Charlie Kirk, you've got Jack Posobiec down there, you've got a lot of people down helping and working with the team and working with the president to make sure they put the perfect team together.
But Dan Scavino Because Dan has been there by the president from day one.
Dan's been there, I think, since 14.
Dan was doing all the social media.
In fact, I first took over the campaign in 16.
I walked into the campaign office on a Sunday night in my first desk for the first couple of days.
I shared it with this guy they called Caddy.
That was Dan Scavino.
Dan has been there from the beginning.
You've seen all the great videos he puts out.
He's by the president's side.
Dan Scavino is our institutional memory.
Dan Scavino Very low profile, very high profile as far as content goes.
You can't get higher profile and access to the president.
He's been there.
He's been loyal.
He put out last week, and if the team can pull it, I think you can go to his Twitter feed.
He put out a tweet that said the other day that said, hey, look, if you were on the first campaign or in the first administration and you were not with us, In, you know, late January, February, March of 2021, you know, don't reach out to me.
Lose my number because I won't get back to you.
And if you weren't there for President Trump in the darkest days after you had been all the benefits of President Trump, don't do it.
And Dan Scavino has literally blown up in the political careers I think the future presidential prospects of three people We're ended over this weekend.
One partially ended.
I'm going to get to this in a moment.
But Nikki Haley and Mike Pompeo.
With President Trump's truth thing of that, they're not going to be in the administration after they've worked so hard, particularly Pompeo.
Boom.
And the way he did it, it makes it that the donors go, well, hey, if we even want to, you know, set up another Trump or some sort of government, you know, some sort of opposition, we can't use you because you've been so outed.
It's trying to get back in.
And now MAGA hates you more than ever.
The end of their political careers.
Their political careers, when I say that, I mean defined as wanting to be President of the United States.
So Dan Scavino, also yesterday, and this is why this whole effort picked up late Sunday afternoon into Sunday evening, and it's going to metastasize this morning.
You've had Laura Loomer out there, and you've had other voices out there saying, hey guys, I understand you're working on winning.
And I understand you're going to do a transition, trying to put together a government.
However, there are two big things that are happening very quickly in Washington when they get back, and one is McConnell is pushing forward a secret vote on Senate leadership, and that secret vote is all to thwart Trump, to stop Trump.
Well, now, as the great Benny Johnson is going to join me at the bottom of the hour, Benny Johnson's put out yesterday, he got the vote tally because his vote's a secret vote, which it shouldn't be.
It should be totally public.
And we're going to have you call your senators here in a second.
It has to be totally public.
You have to see where these people stand.
Benny got...
Either the first preliminary vote or the indications of vote for the first round.
It's like getting, you know, you got what the conclave at the Vatican does before they give you the white smoke.
He outed that, and that was a firestorm yesterday afternoon, late yesterday afternoon when it kind of got out.
And Dan Scavino, once again...
Dan, who's the best guy in the world, has sacrificed so much.
Personally sacrificed, financially sacrificed to be there for the president.
Dan Scavino goes back and he pulls out John Thune's because his number, this thing has like John Thune leading.
He pulls out John Thune.
Oh, by the way, McConnell voting for John Thune.
Just a hint, he goes back and pulls out From, I think, 8 October of 2016, John Thune was the first guy off the bus, the first guy jumped on us on Billy Bush weekend, saying Donald Trump was unacceptable.
He had to be removed and replaced immediately with Mike Pence.
And Dan Scavino put that out.
And I just contextualized, in fact, the team pulled my getter.
Just to contextualize, I just let people know, hey, he was one of the first guys out of there.
And at that time, it was huge.
The media jumped all over that.
He's never had the president's back.
Plus, they have other things that are out there, too.
We're going to spend today, we're back up on the ramparts.
President Trump and the MAGA movement, as is its right, from a massive political victory, are now going to seize the institutions of government as they should.
This fight is on folks and it ain't about Inauguration Day.
This is happening now.
And we will either be thwarted or actually do it in the next couple of weeks.
Three aspects.
The legislative, the House and the Senate.
The executive branch with President Trump's trying to put his people in and deconstruct the rest.
You just saw CNN, they just opened up with this, oh my God, they're having PTSD, federal bureaucrats.
I don't care about federal bureaucrats having PTSD. You think that's going to stop us?
In the judiciary, this is about Focahontas.
She's on top of it.
She knows exactly what's happening.
She's come back to D.C. and she said, hey, I don't know, we have 10, 20, 30 billets of judges.
Schumer, you didn't push through.
We're going to walk through it.
We're going to give you numbers.
We're going to talk to you about what calls we need to make today.
We're at the Ramparts on a Veterans Day.
Let's honor the veterans.
They don't need praise.
Veterans don't need praise.
Don't need thank you for your service.
Please don't tell me thank me for my service.
It was the greatest thing I've ever done in my life to serve my country.
Both on a Navy destroyer in my 20s and in a federal prison in my 70s.
Today it's a work day, not a holiday.
In the war room.

Here's your host, Stephen K. - I'm not going to die.

Birchgold.com.
We're going to have some turbulence.
You know that.
Birchgold.com slash Bannon.
End of the dollar empire.
We're going to fill up Patrick on tomorrow, Wednesday.
Thorough analysis, but ask why stock market's up all-time high.
Gold's near an all-time high.
Go ask the experts what's going on.
You're going to need a hedge, folks.
Epoch Times has got an article.
In fact, I'll figure out how to get this article up.
It talks about the borrowing has to be in the first six months.
This is what Biden's left Trump with.
The first six months, $1.34 trillion.
That's already baked in, $1.34 trillion.
First six months.
We're the ones that called it, told them they're lying to you because tax rate, they're lying to you.
These deficits are going to be a trillion and a half to two trillion dollars and we can't just continue on with it.
You can't finance it.
You continue to finance this stuff, which you're going to have to unless you cut spending or somehow raise revenues and you can't raise revenues that much and you don't have the growth so the denominator didn't get bigger.
That means you're looking at, I don't know, a two and a half trillion dollar borrowing next year.
Insane.
Birchgold.com slash Bannon.
Go check it out today.
Talk to Philip Patrick and the team.
Do that.
It's Veterans Day, 11 November in the year of our Lord, 2024, the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month.
The guns fell silent.
Maybe with President Trump coming back, they will be silent again.
Jake Sherman, the great Jake Sherman, over at his spot, over at Punchbowl, and they're fantastic.
unidentified
They're liberals, but great reporting.
steve bannon
He's got, new in the a.m., Trump bends Washington to his will.
Trump bends Washington to his will.
You're seeing this in all three verticals.
Number one, in the executive branch, it is to, and this is what the CNN Open was about, was it Schedule J or whatever it is, it is to deconstruct the administrative state and to basically purge the deep state.
Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes.
Must be done.
In order to do that, you need the right personnel.
Remember, go back 4,000 to control the 2.5 million federal bureaucrats, the 2.5 military personnel, the 5 to 8 million contractors that are some sort of executive level, roughly 10 million people, and it makes sense.
That's what it takes to run a $7 trillion entity.
You only get 4,000 people.
3,000 going day one.
These are the people, the cadres have been trained up over the last couple of years, since all these different groups started getting in.
And, you know, the Project 2025 is up.
I said it.
I said it.
The forbidden words.
It wasn't just Project 2025.
Five or six groups out there, not just doing policy, but building networks of subject matter experts.
That's why this administration, the second term, the third victory in the second term, is going to hit the deck plates running.
3,000 of those go in day one.
And I think when you see the landing teams, because first you put landing team in, next you put beachhead team in, and then let's go rock and roll.
We take government.
As people get confirmed, the thousand have to be confirmed.
Well, hey, there is a wrinkle to that.
When Congress goes into recess, and particularly the Senate goes into recess, you can make recess appointments.
President Trump can just make some recess appointments now.
McConnell, this is how much he hated Trump.
Didn't trust him.
Hated him.
McConnell never let the Senate go out of recess the entire time Trump was there.
They have these kind of little tricks they can kind of keep it open.
That's one of the things, one of the ask here is that, I don't know, 15 days of recess in the first hundred.
So maybe at the president's discretion, maybe there's a couple, three names in there that might, you know, take too long.
Because this is how McConnell held up Trump in the first term.
He only consented to, only approved, only confirmed those individuals he wanted.
That's how the establishment tried to keep control.
That's how Madison and Kelly could get through very quickly.
But remember, Michael Pack at the Voice of America was three years.
He also had ambassadors.
McConnell is a vindictive small person.
His legacy is almost totally destroyed now because I think his approval is like at 9%.
But we have a chance to totally destroy him.
And he must be destroyed.
The McConnell grip on the Senate must be broken.
The way you broke it, and here's the number, 202-224-3121.
What I want you to do, and if Grace and Mo could be so nice this morning, everybody get on either Grace's Twitter or, I think I've got it up in my getter or Mo's, Benny Johnson, the great Benny Johnson, and this is when the firestorm started.
He leaked yesterday the first either ballot or preliminary ballot where people were coming out.
Jake Sherman has now doubled that.
He's got a list of who's publicly endorsed and who hadn't.
And I talked about somebody killing their political career.
Josh Hawley, and Josh Hawley, I think, is a fantastic guy.
And he's, I would argue, maybe the most populous guy in the United States Senate for the Republican side.
He comes out and endorses Cornyn, which has got to be a deal.
Cornyn's going to promote his stuff.
Josh Hawley runs for president.
Josh Hawley's running for president in 2028.
Cornyn promotes his stuff in the Senate.
Cornyn promotes him, gives him a bigger platform.
unidentified
That is a really, really, really bad endorsement.
steve bannon
Because Cornyn's not going to be, I don't think, the leader.
Although, if you had to be Machiavellian, with the group they have out there now, if you can't get Scott across the goal line, and it looks like maybe Scott can't make it, but if you couldn't get Scott, you would take Cornyn over Thune, because Thune is McConnell's guy, and Cornyn at least is in cycle.
What do I mean by that?
He's up for re-election in Texas, and you can really hold his feet to the fire.
If I say you're either going to primary him, or you're going to make sure he's defeated.
This is also why it's so important to get these sentences.
It's Kerry Lake, they're stealing out in Arizona.
We got a couple of these right on the cusp because the 53 and 54 or 52-53 gives you a little bit of flexibility from the Collins and Murkowski and these Democrats that are just leeching off Republican voters.
202-224-3121 Look at your congressman, particularly Dave McCormick in Pennsylvania.
And Benny's going to tell me how accurate this is, but Katie Britt, Dave McCormick, the guy Sheehy, you're not voting for Trump-friendly people.
If you look at the 11 people that are in back of Scott, they're all MAGA and they're all Trump guys.
Why are you not with that?
Number one, we have to have a public vote on this.
It has to be public.
People need to see this.
So we need you, when you call, tell them, number one, it's got to be public.
Number two, the president needs 15 days recessed days in the first hundred.
And number three, why are you voting for McConnell's guys, Cornyn and Thune, particularly Thune?
Why are you doing that?
Why are you doing that?
I gave you money.
I worked phones for you.
I knocked doors for you.
Why are you doing this?
Let me tell the Senate and let me tell their staffs.
Even if you don't agree to a public vote, we're going to get it leaked.
Benny Johnson has contacts.
People have contacts who already made contacts.
We're going to get it.
It's going to be public.
You are not going to be able to hide from this vote.
So we need you today to come out and say the vote should be public because it's going to be public anyway.
And if people know you lied to them, And everybody that went and got a Trump endorsement, everybody that got a Trump endorsement, you must do what President Trump wants.
This is not a small thing.
President Trump has a great saying.
He says it all the time, no games.
President Trump is not a game player.
He's a blunt force instrument.
But he's got little tolerance for people playing games and their games being played.
And we're not going to tolerate it.
And I mean really not going to tolerate it.
Let me repeat this.
To all the Senate and all their staffers who think you're going to be cute and play games, we're going to have the vote.
We're going to get it one way or the other.
And if you've said one thing publicly and we get the vote and you've backed a McConnell guy, hey, yeah, I don't know.
But there will be accountability.
There's not time for games.
We're not going to have the Senate...
Have the legacy of McConnell to block President Trump.
It will not happen.
It's not going to happen.
People have not worked this hard.
President Trump has not put it on the line.
President Trump does not have 92 felonies.
To sit there when he gets back in office in a blowout election.
That he dragged you guys, you hapless individuals, across the goal line.
And he could defeat any one of you in a primary if he had so chosen.
You're not going to go down to Mar-a-Lago and beg for an endorsement and kiss the ring for an endorsement and do everything you gotta get for an endorsement and then stab him in the back?
Those days are over.
Those days are over.
It's the accountability project.
You know, Laura Loomer and these other tough, smart individuals have been arguing about this.
Now it's time.
It's like Ecclesiastes.
There's a time for everything.
There wasn't time to focus on the senator, how important it was, until now.
But the game has changed.
And Jake Sherman's correct.
As President Trump should enforce as well, he's the leader of the MAGA movement.
He's the leader of the greatest political movement in American history.
It's the first time the pop is, even under President Jackson, right?
And others, William Jennings Bryan, the populist movement only got so much traction.
President Trump has put it in the heart, a populist nationalist movement in the heart of Washington, D.C. And to our enemies, the globalists, and they are our enemies.
Remember, they're trying to put us in prison.
They're trying to bankrupt us, trying to make sure you don't have bank accounts, credit cards.
These are not, oh, citizens, let's sit down and kumbaya.
No, there's no kumbaya.
It's that you betrayed your country.
You're guilty of treason.
We're here to play Smash Mouth, not to pat you on the head.
We must take the Senate.
No more games for McConnell.
Run McConnell out of town on a rail like he should have been years ago.
He's a destructive, mean, corrupt individual.
short break.
Okay, I want to start with the great Jake Sherman.
And I said Jake was a liberal.
Maybe I overspoke there.
But let's say he's neutral.
Maybe center-left.
But look, Punchbowl is...
I think Jake was at Politico.
They left.
Punchbowl covers the...
As you know, for the last couple of years as we took down the Speaker of the House, this audience, Punchbowl is the inside baseball of what's going on on Capitol Hill.
New this AM, Trump bans Washington to his will.
Trump dipping his toe into the Senate GOP leadership race, calling for recess appointments even though he has a 53-seat majority.
People speculating Trump would back someone like Senator John Barrasso.
I throw out a random name.
For leader, Barrasso is running for whip unopposed.
This is mandate Trump.
That's in quotes.
Jake Sherman reports.
This is mandate Trump who helped Republicans win the Senate majority.
Trump won't go along with things he was forced to accept in his first term.
And his allies argue he shouldn't have to, even if that means bypassing the Senate confirmation process.
This will be a big challenge for Senate Republicans.
Yo, you want to see a big challenge?
That's if you cross, if you double cross MAGA movement and President Trump, you're going to see a big challenge.
So don't think this is that big.
This became a firestorm yesterday.
Because of the intrepid reporting of one of the greats, Benny Johnson.
Benny, you know, they're all sitting there in this autopsy saying that it's new media, it's streaming services, it's podcasts, it's guys like Benny Johnson that have really become now the real mainstream media.
They've taken away from the broadcast networks, have billions of dollars.
You...
To be blunt, you've changed the arc of history in this town by what you reported yesterday because it was at that moment I said, okay, game on.
Game on.
Let's roll.
He's got the goods.
Tell us about it.
Tell the audience what you found, what this list is, why is it so explosive, sir?
benny johnson
So thank you, Steve.
And by the way, you are an absolute American hero and icon.
And I haven't gotten a chance to be on the program since your release from prison.
But I think that did as much to tell the American people about the Gestapo tyrannical tactics of Joe Biden that must be put to an end.
And you helped put it to an end.
So you're a cornerstone in this great story.
So Steve, I just wanted to say that live here on your program.
God bless you, sir.
God bless you.
Very few willing to actually take a bullet for this country, and you have, and so has our president-elect Donald Trump.
So Donald Trump is coming into office on a historic mandate, Steve.
It is a landslide.
Donald Trump won the popular vote by five million votes.
He won all seven swing states.
He won 312 electoral votes.
So you'd assume That the Senate, who has a majority because of Donald Trump, and it would have been 55 or 56 seats were it not for the feckless leadership of Senate Republicans, backstabbing people like Carrie Lake, making sure that Democrats can go and meddle in other seats and not holding the feet to the fire of good candidates across the country.
They actually lost seats this election cycle.
And so why should that leadership be rewarded?
Why should Republicans go directly to Washington DC on the heels of the greatest landslide in my lifetime and then immediately backstab Donald Trump with their first votes, Steve?
This is the first Republican vote since the mandate.
And they're voting to put in an anti-Trump Option in John Thune, a man who said that Donald Trump should drop out of the race.
The tweet's still up.
I have it right here in front of me.
John Thune also memorializing January 6th.
I have the tweet in front of me here.
John Thune said my statement on the anniversary of January 6th, 2021 Capitol riot.
He pushed literal Democrat hoaxes against Donald Trump.
He said he hopes that Donald Trump doesn't run again.
They shared stories calling the MAGA movement a cancer on the Republican Party.
And these are our two options.
What exactly the hell is going on here in the United States Senate, Steve?
It is a despicable insult to the American people that senators are considering voting for either John Thune or John Cornyn.
But most importantly, they're doing it in the dark of night, in the cloak of secrecy.
And they're upset.
That we were able to hunt down the actual whip count.
I spent all weekend calling.
I said, there's no way we're gonna go out without a fight here.
I spent all weekend calling because I know I'm watching DC Run, Steve.
I worked there for 15 years.
I worked on Capitol Hill.
I've seen the government up close.
I've seen these McConnell Republicans up close.
I know you have too.
And I said, if I can report out Who's voting where?
Then we'll show the American people where the actual loyalty is.
And it certainly is not to President Trump.
It's to their own power.
And you'll see some shocking names like Ted Cruz, Josh Hawley, Marsha Blackburn on the list voting against Tim Scott.
And the reason why this is important is because, and as I have found in my reporting, Steve, it's not about voting for what your constituents want.
It's about voting for your own power.
The way the Senate works is every one of these senators have been promised something, and they get what they've been promised if they simply vote to continue McConnell's leadership.
And mark my words, Steve, that is exactly precisely what is going on here.
John Thune is a direct continuation of McConnell's power.
One senator told me this weekend that these senators, Thune and Cornyn, are pets.
They're pets of McConnell.
Call them a pet.
Say they're on a leash, and they'll come when called, and McConnell walks them like a dog.
And so that is exactly what these senators are voting for, and it is a betrayal of their Republican constituencies.
steve bannon
The names are shocking, and Josh Hawley came public.
Like I said, I think he's blown himself up for 2028, a guy who I thought was the best populist there, because you see what's going on.
Walk me through some of the other ones.
Katie Britt, McCormick, Sheehy.
I mean, the people that Trump made.
It wouldn't exist without Trump.
It's stunning to me to see this.
Walk me more through this whip count because let me repeat this, folks.
There was a lot of discussion.
I'm not even sure President Trump was that focused.
It got so much going on in Mar-a-Lago.
When Benny Johnson put this whip count out, holy mackerel.
My phone blew up.
It was a firestorm of outrage.
People go, we did all this work.
We chose these people.
They went down and begged President Trump for an endorsement.
They wouldn't have gotten through their primaries without that.
They certainly wouldn't have won the generals without that.
MAGA, these are people that MAGA put their shoulders to the wheel for, and they were betrayed because this is an outright betrayal of MAGA. And the president, is it not, Benny, are we being too harsh?
If you vote for Thune and Cornyn, you're essentially voting for McConnell to continue to thwart Trump in the Senate?
benny johnson
Let me ask you a question, Steve.
Have you ever known a U.S. senator to shy away from a Fox News camera or from an opportunity to go on CNN? No, of course not.
They are drawn to it like a moth to the flame.
And so my question to you, Steve, who is you are the high priest of MAGA. You are the king of populism.
You know this system better than anyone.
You've lived inside of this system.
You've seen it up close.
Steve, why have no US senators been on TV talking about what a great pick John Thune would be for leader?
No one has made the case.
steve bannon
The dark of night.
benny johnson
Not one person, not one of the sycophantic teenage girl level narcissist senators have not run to the flames of the camera to say what a great person John Cornyn is.
Steve, why would that be?
I think it's an important question.
I think it's the most important question in the country right now, Steve, because nobody is publicly defending John Thune.
Nobody is saying that John Cornyn would be our great rock-ribbed conservative leader.
They would never dare, Steve, because they know what would happen if they did.
Their constituencies would say, what the hell, man?
What are you doing?
Your first vote back in Washington, D.C. is to betray Donald Trump and to elect one of two anti-Trump options who are indistinguishable from Liz Cheney.
You go back through, they're History is on Twitter and you will find an indistinguishable sewage pipe of pablum written almost like entirely like They had Liz Cheney speechwriters, man.
John Cornyn and John Thune, we did this last night.
And Steve, I'm telling you, just put them in a wig and call them Liz Cheney.
Because that is exactly what they are.
And in fact, John Thune has a photo with Dick Cheney.
This is a great photo of John Thune standing there with Dick Cheney.
He has his arm around him and says, my good friend Dick Cheney, great to catch up.
That's who you're putting in to the leadership when you vote.
And so that's the most important question, Steve.
Why has nobody come out and defended them?
Why has nobody come forward and made the case?
Meanwhile, people like you and me, we're all making the case for Rick Scott.
Nobody's ashamed of that.
Rick Scott has a 95% Heritage Foundation, I think an 88% from the Freedom Coalition.
Rick Scott has an impeccable voting record.
He was the governor of Florida.
Ron DeSantis inherited an incredible impeccably run state from Rick Scott.
Rick Scott's a self-made man.
He's a very, very rich man.
He's a very successful man.
He doesn't have allegiance to anyone.
He's self-funded.
McConnell backstabbed him and wouldn't fund his race for Senate.
And so, yeah, there's a bit of a chip on his shoulder and naps to grind against the D.C. Republican Party, whose sole purpose is backstabbing.
And I'll tell you this final thing, Steve.
You know what?
They all said no one could touch Rana.
Guess where she's at now?
steve bannon
Exactly.
By the way, nobody said we could touch McConnell on the Ukraine vote, and he's Nasser's retirement.
They can all be touched.
Here's what they got the fear in.
Here's actually the most important thing this morning.
It's about Benny Johnson.
Benny, we are having our audience call.
202-224-3121 is the switchboard for the United States Senate.
Call and have them direct it to your senator.
And make sure they're put on notice.
Got to be a public vote.
President Trump needs 15 days recess in the first 100.
And then make them justify where they are in this whip count that Benny Johnson exposed.
But if they do not come forward and say, yes, this should be public, Does the audience, does MAGA have the commitment of Benny Johnson and his great team that you will do and you will get this vote by hook or crook so that we can see it, if they don't make it public, which they should, that Benny Johnson and his team will by hook or crook get the actual vote and make it public so they therefore know they can't hide from Benny Johnson.
And if they can't hide from Benny Johnson, they therefore can't hide from MAGA, sir.
unidentified
Okay.
benny johnson
So we're fighting an information war.
And the wonderful thing about the Senate is that it's just a club of 53 right now, Steve.
And so everybody knows each other's business.
This will not be a secret vote.
We'll know.
We'll find out.
This will not be secret.
And there's something profound that happened last night because we are better sourced, of course, than the left.
And it is an amazing landscape that we're living in, Steve, where These senators, like Rick Scott, who have embraced shows like yours, shows like mine, who have embraced the real media, not the fake corporatist media that is dying on the vine in his last gasps.
Senators who have done that are the ones who are really beginning to see the power ascend to them.
Meanwhile, senators currently, right now I'm gonna read to you from Punchbowl News.
I know that you covered this, but this is an amazing quote.
From Punchbowl this morning, they're trying to bully us, a Senator Wines.
A GOP Senator talks to Punchbowl News saying, I don't care.
I'm reading to you right from the article.
I don't care much what Tucker Carlson thinks.
They're trying to bully us.
That's not how these elections work.
So they're spitting in the face of those who actually went to the mat for President Trump, their voters.
And they're saying, effectively, that They'll keep doing CNN. They still believe that CNN and NBC News run everything.
And I think it's a sea-changer.
But here's the final thing.
Dan Scavino, yesterday on X, tagged Donald Trump.
steve bannon
Benny, just hang her for one second.
I want to hold you through just a quick break, and we'll let you go on the other side.
It's too important.
Benny Johnson.
Hey, guess what?
Senators, it's not called bullied.
It's called making the case for MAGA. And by mid-afternoon, we need to hear your response.
Short break.
Benny Johnson on the other side.
unidentified
Here's your host, Stephen K. Vann.
Okay, welcome back.
steve bannon
I'm getting tired of winning already.
CNN's reporting, wait for it, Stephen Miller named Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy in the Trump 2.0 White House.
benny johnson
Wow.
steve bannon
That's a blockbuster.
Their heads are going to be blown up one day.
Stephen Miller, Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy in the Trump White House.
Benny Thompson, or Benny Johnson, this is as powerful as it gets.
Would that senator go public?
Would he go on the record, do you think, Benny, with your team, about saying he doesn't care about Tucker Carlson and he's just getting bullied?
Do you think he'd go on the record for that?
benny johnson
No, because they're cowards.
That's why they're voting in the dark of night, Steve.
Why would they do a secret vote?
What the hell is a secret vote going on here?
You either believe in the future of the Senate and you're willing to put your name to the leader or not.
McConnell has run this place.
McConnell's been a terrorist in the Senate.
And people are still so scared of him.
And it's time to break those chains.
I have right here in my hand, breaking right now, in my hand, John Cornyn.
This is a press release from John Cornyn saying that he supports Nancy Pelosi's 9-11-style investigation into January 6th.
Saying that he supports full charges against J6ers, locking up political prisoners in his own party.
Steve, these are Democrat sleeper cells.
Putting John Thune or John Cornyn in charge of the Senate is like putting Liz Cheney in charge of the Senate.
These people are totally and thoroughly corrupted.
And you can tell that we're getting to them because no one has made the case.
For Cornyn or Thune, no one.
No one has publicly come out and said, no, this is who we should be backing, and here's why.
And here's the final thing, Dan Scavino, Dan Bongino, Dan Scavino, they run.
Dan Scavino, the voice of President Trump digitally online.
You must follow Dan.
He's impeccable.
He's been by the president's side for eons and eons.
He doesn't post much.
But he tagged President Trump yesterday with a John Thune tweet.
And this is the man who runs Trump's accounts, right?
So I gotta tell you, this is on the president's desk.
And he tags President Trump and it's a John Thune tweet saying Trump's gotta drop out and let Mike Pence run the government.
And it's still up inexplicably, Steve.
And so that means that the president's eyes are certainly on it.
I have behind-the-scenes sources saying that many people are sending Donald Trump some of the shocking and very disturbing posts of Thune and Cornyn right now.
And hopefully we can get, we'll see, but hopefully we can get a President Trump endorsement, which would be game over, actually, in the Senate, if Trump came out and weighed in.
steve bannon
Benny, where do people go on social media?
Where do they go for your show, sir?
benny johnson
Yes, so you can find me at Benny Johnson on all social media platforms.
Got 12 million followers and growing.
One of the proud people who've been influenced by the great Steve Bannon.
You're like Master Splinter, okay?
And I'm a Ninja Turtle.
And we're just trying to learn the wisdom, Steve.
steve bannon
Benny, you're extraordinary.
I'm telling you, what you did yesterday changed the entire dynamic of this.
This shows you how important alternative media news is.
When you get hard news, he got the whip count by working hard, released the whip count.
It changed everything.
And then Dan Scavino jumped in too.
Monumental.
Benny, thank you so much.
Honored to have you on here.
Give us the time this morning.
benny johnson
God bless you, Steve.
steve bannon
This is why I've known Benny for a long time.
He's been grinding.
You know, one of the young men like Matt Boyle, Benny Johnson, others worked for Tucker over at Daily Caller and also admired Andrew Breitbart at Breitbart.
Those are the two.
It was Tucker and Andrew at the very beginning in this alternative medium.
202-224-3121.
Light them up.
Get that list.
We now have Captain Bannon has now broken down the list by name.
If we can put that out and we put that up and maybe share that.
You might want, if you want to call the local office, Grace.
I'll get Grace up here in the next hour.
So, Grace, get in hair and makeup out there on the West Coast.
I know it's early.
To talk about Bill Blaster, download the app.
You get all access to every one of their touchpoints.
We must get to the ramparts today.
It is unacceptable.
To have come this far in this journey, and for you folks to do as much work, as much sacrifice to support one of the most important individuals in the history of this republic, President Trump, to have someone like a Mitch McConnell trying to block it after he's thrown out.
Let's go back.
What, a year ago?
We removed McCarthy as Speaker of the House.
And quite frankly, his entire clique.
Graves and the folks that had done the...
All the guys that negotiated the debt ceiling catastrophe.
They were removed historically.
We removed Ronald McDaniel and the entire worthless RNC. But also, McConnell broke his pick.
Why he broke his pick?
Don't you remember?
The weekend that this audience sat up and listened to all the speeches on the Ukraine funding, it had Mike Lee, the heroes Mike Lee and Rand Paul and a couple others saying it shouldn't happen and McConnell jammed it through.
But it cost him.
He had to sacrifice his leadership.
He said he would step down afterwards because he lost because of this audience.
They had to go to plan B. You guys did it.
And now, that's where the number is 202-224-3121.
You must light these people up.
Look at the list.
I want you to be burning mad.
I want you to look at that list of the people that President Trump endorsed that are only in Washington D.C. as United States Senators because of Trump and their outright portrayal of him right out of the box.
We must break the DC cartel.
We must break the cartel of the lobbyists and the money and Wall Street and Silicon Valley that control these people like puppets.
Folks, the control of this government and who controls it?
The people that won the election about democracy?
Whether it's the folks that just want a landslide or whether it's still the administrative and deep state and the globalist and the lords of easy money on Wall Street and the tech feudalist in Silicon Valley.
The control of that, either their side or our side, will be determined before Christmas.
This is not about you must think of the war that's going on.
And you have to do it because you're the vanguard.
You're the cadre.
unidentified
The cadre to the ramparts.
steve bannon
202-224-3121.
History beckons.
It's another fight for just simply raw power. - I was in the thorn And guess what?
My money's on you.
I'm going long the war room posse.
Next hour, Mike Davis joins us.
