This is the primal scream of a dying regime.
unidentified
|
Pray for our enemies, because we're going medieval on these people.
I got a free shot of all these networks lying about the people.
The people have had a belly full of it.
I know you don't like hearing that.
I know you try to do everything in the world to stop that, but you're not going to stop it.
unidentified
|
It's going to happen. | |
And where do people like that go to share the big line?
MAGA Media. I wish in my soul, I wish that any of these people had a conscience.
unidentified
|
Ask yourself, what is my task and what is my purpose?
If that answer is to save my country, this country will be saved.
unidentified
|
War Room, here's your host, Stephen K. Babb.
If it makes no sense to you that a man who vows to march non-white immigrants into U.S. concentration camps at gunpoint and then mass deport them while calling these immigrants vermin, diseased criminals, murderers, cat eaters and cannibals...
While also vowing to turn American police into death squads.
And telling his voters that they don't have to vote anymore after he wins.
If you are gobsmacked that that guy, who during a deadly pandemic sent COVID tests badly needed by Americans to Vladimir Putin instead, is tied with the sitting vice president who's supported by Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and the Cheneys.
Well, welcome to the rest of the rational world.
Who think not just Donald Trump, but maybe America itself has gone mad.
It's not just Trump and the sacking of the Capitol, which trust me, people outside this country have not forgotten.
It's the Republicans, federal and state, who are already vowing to refuse to certify the November election unless Trump wins.
Add to that the threat that a Republican-controlled Senate would confirm 40-year-old right-wing replacements for Justices Alito and Thomas.
Meaning a far-right Supreme Court for the rest of our children's lives.
Plus a national abortion ban and Project 2025.
And you have the recipe for a fascist America, not just in 2025, but in 2055.
unidentified
|
Then you have Trump who is doing the classic thing, you know, started by Mussolini onward, that you are the savior of the nation, but you're also the victim.
And this victimhood conflict is really important because it makes his most deluded slash devoted followers feel protective of him.
Even though he's always telling them that he doesn't care about them, like not having buses for them or in Iowa at the caucus, he said, even if you vote and you die, it'll be worth it.
So this is like an abuser mentality, but he has to be the victim.
As well as the savior. | ||
And that's something that all strongmen do successfully.
But all of this is just straight out of authoritarianism, including the tragic outcome of that they despise their own people and they consider them.
And anybody who does not have total loyalty becomes an enemy of the people, an enemy of the state.
And so Americans should know that it's not going to be just immigrants targeted.
It's, you know, liberals, leftists, political opponents, LGBTQ people.
And that's how it always is with authoritarians.
They may start by rhetorically emphasizing one group, but they always go after many groups.
The incidents were limited to a handful of apartment complexes, and the mayor said our dedicated police officers have acted on those concerns.
A handful of problems. | ||
Only, Martha, do you hear yourself?
Only a handful of apartment complexes in America were taken over by Venezuelan gangs and Donald Trump is the problem and not Kamala Harris' open border.
Americans are so fed up with what's going on and they have every right to be.
And I really find this exchange, Martha, sort of interesting because you seem to be more focused with nitpicking everything that Donald Trump has said rather than acknowledging That apartment complexes in the United States of America are being taken over by violent gangs.
I worry so much more about that problem than anything else here.
We've got to get American communities in a safe space again.
And unfortunately, when you let people in by the millions Most of whom are unvetted.
Most of whom you don't know who they really are.
You're going to have problems like this.
Kamala Harris, 94 executive orders that undid Donald Trump's successful border policies.
We knew this stuff would happen.
They bragged about opening the border.
And now we have the consequences and we're living with it.
We can do so much better.
But frankly, we're not going to do better, Martha, unless Donald Trump calls this stuff out.
I'm glad that he did. Boom!
Mic drop, right? | ||
Hi, good morning, everybody.
I'm Monica Crowley, in for our good friend, political prisoner, Stephen K. Bannon, who, by the way, two weeks from today will be released from federal custody, and we cannot wait.
Not a day too soon, right?
Thank you so much for being here.
It is a joy to sit in his chair.
As always, don't forget about my podcast, The Monica Crowley Podcast, which you can find on Rumble and all podcast platforms.
And of course, on social media, on Instagram, I'm at Monica Crowley underscore.
And on Twitter and True Social, I'm at Monica Crowley, so please go check me out there.
All right, we've got a huge show lined up for you today.
I want to begin with two countdown clocks.
First, I mentioned two weeks from today on October 29th, Steve Bannon will be released from prison.
He will be back in this chair.
And it's been such an honor to be here sitting in his place.
The second countdown clock is 20 days from today.
20 days from today, we will have November 5th, Election Day, presidential election, elections across the country.
So we've got 20 days to save America.
There's that countdown clock. It really depends if you actually count November 5th.
Election Day or not. | ||
I usually don't because I feel like by that day, time's up.
So this countdown clock has us at 21 days.
I say 20 days. | ||
In any case, we need all hands on deck because time is short and the window is closing to save America.
I know the posse is ready.
It is stepped up. | ||
It is fierce. | ||
It is focused. Guys, we cannot have any infighting.
We cannot have any distractions.
We need time. Total focus for the next 20 days.
Total focus. Keep your eyes on the prize.
If Steve were in this chair this morning, he'd be telling you the exact same thing.
Eyes on the prize. | ||
I see on social media some scraps happening in between, you know, different America firsters and people picking fights.
We can have none of that.
Eyes on the prize. This is about saving the republic.
And we only have 20 days to do it.
All right, that montage is I wanted to end that media montage, and I know we all pull our hair out, including Steve does, when we're watching these media montages of MSNBC and CNN. I wanted to end with a clip of J.D. Vance nuking Martha Raddatz from ABC into outer space on Sunday morning.
And the reason I wanted to end with that clip is because her question and his response That was the definitive exchange of this campaign.
President Trump out there all day, every day, talking about America first, Americans first.
That is the overall narrative and theme.
That's how we governed in the first term.
That is how he's going to govern in the second term.
But that exchange between Martha Raddatz and J.D. put the contours in the final days of this race.
It puts the final selling point on America first versus America last.
And I'll tell you why. | ||
Because it defines the race and actually the entire America first movement in the obvious way of the ruling class The ruling class versus you and me.
The ruling class, the system versus the American people.
The choice is not right, left, Republican versus Democrat, Trump, Harris.
Of course, those are the top-line choices, but the actual choice is between us versus the system.
Us versus the state. | ||
And so when Martha Raddatz is sitting there in the comfy confines of her studio in New York or D.C., wherever she was, and she's talking about illegal immigration by the tens of millions.
I think President Trump now has the number up to 21 million illegal aliens who have come into the country over the last three and a half years.
When she says to J.D. Vance, it's no biggie.
The massive criminal illegal alien invasion is no biggie.
The fact that criminal illegal aliens, including Venezuelan criminal gangs, taking over apartment complexes and booting out American citizens is really no big deal.
What do you have to say to that, J.D.? That is the perfect encapsulation of this race from the system side, the ruling class side.
They look at all of this as no biggie, right?
And then JD's answer was pitch perfect when he said, Martha, do you hear yourself?
And then, of course, you heard his lengthy explanation.
But that phrase, do you hear yourself, is going to be one of the great defining statements, the defining closing argument, or one of them, going into these final 20 days.
And the reason is because JD, in saying, Martha, to the system, do you hear yourself?
I'll tell you who hears it.
The American people hear it.
The American people hear the ruling class versus us.
The American people hear the ruling class, the system versus everybody else.
They hear the arrogance.
They hear the Marxism. | ||
They hear the seizure of power and control in her question.
They see and hear the callous disregard for all of us in her question.
And then in his answer, Martha, do you hear yourself?
She doesn't hear herself.
Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, the rest of the Democrats, they do not hear themselves because they are the system.
They're all about power and control, and they live in their bubble.
Do you know that Martha Raddatz lives in a house worth about $2.3 million?
I don't begrudge anybody the rewards of their hard work.
I don't begrudge anybody making money.
I'm earning a living, getting what they can legally.
I don't begrudge that. This is what the capitalist system is all about.
But Martha Raddatz, along with everybody that she gives voice to and represents, is at war with the free market capitalist system.
So she's happy to make a multi-million dollar paycheck and live in a multi-million dollar house and God bless.
But she doesn't want you to have that.
She is trying to tear down the system that leads to that opportunity so all of us can enjoy that kind of opportunity and that kind of success.
She is representing the system trying to take that away from you.
So when he says, do you hear yourself?
She obviously doesn't because she's in the imperial media bubble.
And the rest of the system doesn't hear themselves.
Or they do and they simply don't care, one or the other.
But then he pushed back.
You know, if the illegal aliens were crawling through the window of her house, maybe she might have a different point of view.
But she doesn't because she's in the protectorate.
She's in the system, the protectorate.
So of course she doesn't hear herself or she simply doesn't care.
President Trump and J.D. Vance standing up for the forgotten men and women.
President Trump has been talking about the forgotten men and women of this country for decades, long before he announced for president.
And J.D. Vance stands up for the forgotten men and women because he was one not too long ago.
They are the perfect America first ticket.
And that exchange, I'm telling you, is going to be, if not the closing argument, part of the closing argument going into these final days.
This is America first versus America last.
It's we the people versus the Marxist revolutionaries and the system that backs them up.
So you've got the search for power and control, and then you've got the ideology driving them, this kind of Marxist control.
This is what we're up against, guys, and this is why I'm saying in the next 20 days, we need all hands on deck.
We need no infighting. | ||
We need total and absolute focus on the goal.
Eyes on the prize. Steve would be telling you this if he were sitting in this chair.
Do you hear yourself? | ||
Again, They do not or they care not to.
But President Trump and J.D. Vance hear us.
They respect us. | ||
They are fighting for us. President Trump is a machine.
Last night he did this huge, massive rally in Pennsylvania.
And there were a couple of medical emergencies.
A few people fainted. | ||
So he bought some time. | ||
He played some music. | ||
He answered questions from the crowd.
The man is doing multiple rallies per day.
Kamala Harris is so desperate that right now she's preparing herself.
I doubt we're going to see her in public today because she's preparing herself to sit down with Brett Baer on Fox News tomorrow.
Doing that, and I'm glad she's doing it, but doing that is a sign of weakness and desperation, not strength.
All right, let's hit a quick break.
When we come back, we've got the great Carolyn Wren who's going to break down where we are in this.
unidentified
|
Here's your host, Stephen K. Mann.
Welcome back to the War Room, so let's go to war.
I want to make one quick point before we go to Caroline Wren.
She's talking about J.D. Vance's absolutely pitch-perfect response to Martha Raddatz when she was saying illegal immigration is really no big deal, taking over people's homes, no big deal.
Axios is now reporting a brand new poll that shows the trust in media is at an all-time low.
Among Democrats, 54% of Democrats trust the mainstream media, or as we like to call it, the imperial media, which is a phrase I got from my former boss, President Nixon.
Democrats, 54%, well, of course, because they control the imperial media.
So, of course, they're going to trust their own, right?
Independents, 27% of independents trust the imperial press.
And only 12% of Republicans trust the imperial media.
I want to know who the 12% are.
Where are they? They've got to be watching War Room so we can educate them.
Keep in mind, Kamala is going to sit with Brett Baier tomorrow on Fox News.
That is a sign of desperation and weakness.
It is not a sign of strength.
We're going to be all over it here on the War Room.
All right, let's talk about where we are in some of these other races.
Joining us now is Caroline Wren.
She is political consultant extraordinaire.
She is senior advisor to Senate candidate in Arizona, our good friend Carrie Lake.
She's amazing. Caroline, welcome.
Thank you for having me. I love when you host.
You're the best. Thank you so much.
Well, I wanted to have you here.
I'm so happy you're here. Let's break down where we are in some of these key Senate races, Caroline, and let's talk about it in conjunction with the Senate Leadership Fund, the SLF, which is the big money entity that is run by Mitch McConnell, and it's essentially an establishment tool.
They have not been directing money to Arizona to Carrie Lake to support her.
They've been redirecting the money in other areas.
And it's actually appalling, particularly 20 days out.
Let's start with Arizona because you are advising Carrie.
Where are we in this race with the polling, the money and so on?
Look, what I'm doing in Arizona is I'm following less of the polls and more of the money actually.
And so the way that I know that Arizona is still highly competitive is the fact that the counterpart of SLF and McConnell is Chuck Schumer's PAC, SMP. Every day I see Chuck Schumer, I wake up and he spends another 600,000, 2.5 million, 3.5 million in Arizona.
Chuck Schumer is spending more in Arizona against Carrie Lake than he is to help retain his incumbents in Wisconsin with Tammy Baldwin, with Jackie Rosen in Nevada.
He's spending almost even to defeat Carrie Lake as he is to help John Tester in Montana.
And so that is how I know if the Democrats quit spending in Arizona, that's when I would be nervous.
But instead, they're doubling and tripling down.
And Schumer announced actually this morning that he raised another 119 million just in the last three months.
So that onslaught of money is not going to stop.
Schumer is also spending heavily in Texas, and that is another place where Mitch McConnell is spending zero dollars to help Ted Cruz.
And per Mitch McConnell's own polling, the SLF internal polls that somehow magically got leaked yesterday, they have Ted Cruz only up one.
So why would Mitch McConnell not be Spending any money to help retain his incumbents, because right now, I'd say we're at an even 50-50 Senate, because everyone puts West Virginia safely in our corner.
We're at 49-50 before that, so we're tied right now.
But if we lose an incumbent, then we could end up losing the Senate.
And so per SLF's polling, which again, I think their polling is total BS, but if you're looking at an incumbent with only a one-point lead, shouldn't you be spending there?
But the problem is that Mitch McConnell hates Ted Cruz, because Ted Cruz won't fund his endless wars in Ukraine.
So, Mitch McConnell, rather than protecting—first of all, we know that he is an adversary of America first.
He is an establishment tool and has long been.
He is a mouthpiece and a functionary of the system.
So he's not going to support anybody who supports President Trump in a full-throated way like Kerry, like Ted Cruz.
But where is he putting all of this money?
I mean, he's sitting atop, you know, multi-millions of dollars.
Where is it all going? For the first eight months of this year, all of their spending was only in Montana, Pennsylvania, and Ohio.
And now they're looking at the Montana and Ohio races as those are states I think Trump won by 16 points in 2016 and 20 points in 2020 or maybe inverse that.
That is why they think that's their best pickup opportunity outside of West Virginia.
And I don't disagree. And actually, I do think that Tim Sheehy is a little bit run away with that.
I haven't seen a single poll that has him even, he's been up six or more.
And there's not really much more TV to be able to buy in Montana.
I would love to see how much they're spending per person.
But then in Ohio as well, that's a state that Trump has really run away with.
I hope that he ends up winning by ten or more.
And if he does, you know, Bernie Moreno should be fine.
Bernie Moreno is also, I would say, similar to Kerry.
Bernie Moreno is a real America First patriot.
Really great guy that we have to get in.
So I've been happy to see them spin there.
In Pennsylvania, I really hope that Dave McCormick wins.
And again, I believe that these Senate candidates and Donald Trump will win or lose these states together.
So I do think that Trump wins Pennsylvania.
Dave McCormick's gonna win. But Dave McCormick has so much money already.
He's putting a ton of money in on his own.
He has a lot of hedge fund friends.
And so it is a little discouraging to see SLF just to continue to pour all of their funds into that state, where you have states like Arizona, where if you just spent $5 million exposing Ruben Gallego's horrible, horrible record, that goes a really long way.
Spend a little bit of money in Nevada on Sam Brown's terrible opponent.
So that is what has been so frustrating to me.
Schumer is spending in all of these races, and McConnell is only spending in a handful of them.
You know, is it fair to say, Caroline, that Mitch McConnell, who's directing the Senate Leadership Fund and sitting atop all of this money, that he has personal vendettas against people like Carrie Lake, like Ted Cruz, as you point out, and so he's withholding money because of his personal animus rather than keeping, as I said at the top of the show, eyes on the prize about winning the Senate, getting President Trump elected, and holding on to the House majority?
Yes, I think they're terrified of Carrie Lake in D.C. And why is that?
Because Carrie Lake has already proven that she cannot be bought.
If you remember when they tried to bribe her out of the Senate race, she said, no, there's no amount of money, 10 million, 100 million, you can't do it.
There is something so lethal and dangerous about sending a United States senator to D.C. who will not answer to PAC money, to corporations, to leadership.
And that is what Carrie Lake is.
She only will answer to we the people and the people of Arizona.
And you know who else was actually ironically similar in that?
Was Kyrsten Sinema. | ||
Like, Chuck Schumer despised Kyrsten Sinema.
They bullied her out of that Senate race because Sinema did not answer to leadership.
A lot of those votes that she did, especially holding the line against the filibuster, that was a pretty brave thing to do, although it's absolutely the right thing to do.
But Kyrsten Sinema was similar in that.
So Kerry, I actually think, is gonna go into D.C. as a mold of that.
Now, Sinema, I think, answered a little bit too much to corporations.
That's where I broke with her on a lot of things.
But Kerry Lake will be such a breath of fresh air.
And what I've talked to Kerry about is, you know what?
SLF isn't spending here.
They're never going to. So what?
Let's leave it alone. In fact, almost every race that SLF invested in since 2016, they've lost.
There are three races SLF didn't invest in.
If you remember, they didn't invest in Ron Johnson, who went on to win.
They didn't invest in Ted Cruz, and they didn't invest in Rick Scott.
So it's actually a little bit of a kiss of death when SLF invests in you.
But Kerry, how freeing is it going to be when you get to D.C. and you owe nobody anything?
Truly, other than Donald Trump.
And so I'm very excited.
Her numbers look really good.
I do think that Trump, when you look at these swing states, everyone has kind of conceded that Trump is doing the best in Arizona.
And so I think that Trump is gonna win by four or five, maybe even potentially six in Arizona.
And then there's just no way that Kerry would underperform that and she would come in as US senator with Donald Trump.
And oh man, will those two just be a dynamic duo when enacting Trump's Agenda 47 with J.D. Vance there to help.
Yeah, no, amazing. | ||
And, you know, you mentioned J.D., Caroline, and you mentioned the possibility of a 50-50 Senate.
Now, we hope to pick up more seats, obviously, despite SLF and McConnell and all of his shenanigans.
But in a 50-50 Senate...
We need J.D. Vance to be the tie-breaking vote.
Enough of Kamala Harris.
We need the Vice President J.D. Vance.
You know, you're exactly right.
Carrie Lake is a perfect America First disruptor.
And as strong as President Trump is, and when he's reelected and sitting in that Oval Office, he's going to be able to do a tremendous amount to bring this country back by executive order, all the things he's talking about doing on day one.
But he can't do everything by himself, and he's going to need serious backup in the Congress and in the Senate, and that's why we need Carrie Lake there.
So, Arizona, you think there's going to be enough tailwind coming from President Trump at the top of the ticket to Carrie over the finish line?
I do. And then I do think that Ted Cruz pulls it out.
The people of Texas love him.
And then I think Rick Scott is gonna be able to hold on.
There's a little weird thing happening in Nebraska right now.
There's this independent candidate who has about $10 million that has come in for him from dark money organizations.
Of course, the Democratic Party rails against dark money actually uses it to the tune of billions.
And so that's one that we're kind of watching.
But I actually think that will end up being fine.
But it's been a strange one that's popped up on the radar recently.
But the thing that I tell people is we don't just need 51.
We need 53 or 54 to get Trump's Nominees across the finish line.
I'm telling you, like, Lisa Murkowski and Susan Collins will vote against every single America First cabinet member that Trump tries to get through.
So really, our goal, we've got to shoot for 53 or 54.
I mean, that will make all the difference as Trump goes to fill out the cabinet that I know that you're gonna wanna see, that I'm gonna wanna see.
And so we've gotta run up the scores on these.
And I think that in the blue wall, you know, I think that Trump's looking good in Pennsylvania.
Kamala's making some grounds there.
And actually, where we were polling the worst was Wisconsin.
But I do think Trump's starting to surge there, as is Eric Hovde.
Eric Hovde is the Wisconsin Senate candidate, another one who's a great guy who I really, I think he'll pull it out if Trump pulls it out.
And so that one I'm hopeful in.
Michigan, I do think also we are looking good in.
You know, there is a very large Muslim population there that we're gonna see what they end up doing.
Do they end up splitting the vote away from the Democrats over the Palestine issue?
Maybe and Rick Brunell I know has been doing a tremendous amount of work in Michigan And I was talking to him this weekend, and he feels very confident So that's another one got a quick break Carolina. We got a hit a quick break more with you on the other side There's a lot at stake in this upcoming election But regardless of who is sitting in the White House the fuse on the economy has already been lit Even four years of a conservative presidency will not be enough to turn the tide on our $35 trillion national debt.
And if the left wins, it's like throwing gas on a dumpster fire.
The election is in the hands of the American people.
But what you can do right now is protect your savings by diversifying into gold with the help of Birch Gold Group.

Here's your host, Stephen K. Bannon.
Welcome back to The War Room.
I'm Monica Crowley. In for political prisoners, Stephen K. Bannon, who gets out of prison two weeks from today.
Are you ready? Buckle up.
Hopefully we're doing him all proud.
We need all hands on deck, full motivation, pedal to the metal, absolutely no infighting and no let up from now through November 5th.
And of course, beyond, because as Steve always says, every day is going to be Stalingrad when President Trump is reelected.
All right, I've got a phenomenal other monologue coming up for you at the top of the hour at 11 a.m.
Eastern Time on Kamala Harris.
You're not going to want to miss that.
Also, we've got Rich Barris coming up, Todd Benzman.
We've got Joel Gilbert.
We've got Adam Coleman.
We've got Mike Lindell. So, huge lineup to go here on War Room.
And also, don't forget about my podcast, Monica Crowley Podcast on Rumble.
Okay, rejoined once again by Caroline Wren.
Caroline, just put a final point on what you were talking about with regard to the money and the Senate races.
Are you relatively optimistic about where we are in these final 20 days?
I am very optimistic, and I'm so glad you're having Rich Barris on next, because he can really walk through these poll numbers and what a joke these public polls that are coming out on.
But I'm certainly optimistic about these Senate races.
I'm very optimistic about Carrie Lake's race.
But we certainly need the help of the War Room Posse.
We need to leave everything on the field.
I would encourage the War Room Posse to go and Donate directly to these candidates on their campaign website.
You can go to CarrieLake.com.
I would recommend you donate to Ted Cruz, Bernie Moreno in Ohio, Sam Brown in Nevada, Eric Covey in Wisconsin, Mike Rogers in Michigan.
These are all candidates that can win.
I think they will win, but they need direct support to their campaigns.
And so if Mitch McConnell is not going to help them, then guess what?
The War Room Posse will.
And we're going to get these folks over the finish line, but we have to just Vote like our lives truly depend on it.
I'd also say to go to tpaction.com slash commit 100.
They are willing to pay for your travel to Arizona.
They will put you up in hotels.

Yep. Turning Point Action, doing phenomenal work.
I'm also working with the Trump campaign and with Protect the Vote on training.
So poll watchers, poll observers, we need eyes on.
Guys, we saw what happened in 2020 because we didn't have eyes on on Election Day.
But also now, as all of these mass mail-in ballots are coming in, early ballots coming in, we need real patriots standing up and keeping a close eye on.
So, Caroline, thank you so much.
Where can people find you?
It's at Caroline Wren on Twitter, Get Her, and Truth Social.
Great. Everybody go follow her.
She's amazing. Caroline, thank you so much.
All the best. Thank you.
You bet. Joining us now is the People's Pundit, Rich Barris, big data guy and honest guy.
And we need more of that in the media, don't we?
Rich, I'm so thrilled that you're here.
I'm a huge fan of your work.
Talk us through, let's go through the polling and let's start nationally and then we'll go through some of the swing states.
Where are we nationally in the presidential race?
And it's good to be here and feelings mutual.
Look, the national race is, a lot of people hate national polls because they don't really tell you much, right?
I mean, we elect presidents based on the Electoral College.
But they can tell you something.
And if the race is this close nationally, it tells you that if you are Kamala Harris, you're not happy where you are.
I mean, at this point in history, Hillary Clinton had a much bigger lead.
Joe Biden had an even bigger lead.
And we saw how close those elections ended up.
You know, the bottom line, you know, is that she doesn't get more than three and a half, four points.
She's in real danger of losing.
There's an argument you can make where if she wins by two and a half, three, then maybe she can eat it out.
But if you're her, believe me, Monica, you don't want to be there.
So the trend lines, Rich, the momentum, which is always so critical going into the final days, it does seem to me, and correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks like Kamala Harris peaked a long time ago.
I think she peaked the day that Joe Biden dropped out and endorsed her.
I think that was probably her greatest day.
And then going into the DNC, so she peaked.
I mean, it really looks like the Trump train is now, like, flying down the track, and he is gaining support with every passing day.
Is that correct? This is how I would characterize this race.
Donald Trump led for over a year against Joe Biden, and he led against Kamala Harris when we would use her as an alternative.
What if the nominee was Kamala Harris?
What if the nominee was Gavin Newsom?
All of us have been doing this for almost two years now, right?
A year and a half, seriously.
And Donald Trump has had a sometimes small, sometimes bigger against Joe Biden, but a consistent lead.
And there were periodic There are times where Kamala Harris had these bursts of favorable media coverage, which, by the way, induces something called a response bias that's getting into the weeds.
But sometimes the movement isn't real, Monica, it's the pollster.
And it's not our fault, it's just the way that this industry works.
But Donald Trump has always come back from that, and he has routinely led on the top issues that are most important to people's votes.
And now we're here, October 15th, and we're three weeks out, and he is a very strong closer.
As of now, he is surging before he has surged in the past.
So when we were in Pennsylvania and Michigan last week, and Michigan a lot of people saw our poll yesterday, it'll be out officially today, I stayed in the field intentionally because I wanted to make sure that what I thought I was seeing is actually what I was seeing.
And that is very clearly the trend line shifting to Donald Trump.
The last minute deciders going to Donald Trump.
And if I could, I know I'm rambling here, but if I could just say, I think what happened is that there were a lot of voters who thought, and they're truly persuadable, and they're not a huge group, but they're certainly decisive.
They were thinking to themselves, give me a reason, Kamala, to vote for you.
And she's not giving them, she didn't give them a reason.
They wanted her to tell them, why are you gonna be different than Joe Biden?
Are you really this liberal or put me at ease?
And she had weeks and weeks and weeks of favorable media coverage to close that deal.
But you have to have a real message to do that.
And they did not pass the test.
And now we're beyond the time where people can say, no, she's got plenty of time to close the deal.
She really doesn't. I mean, the truth is, most people kind of know who they're going to vote for months before.
And they just settle on it as they get closer.
And that's where we are right now.
They just trust Trump to do the job.
It's pretty remarkable that, you know, of course, she's in the second highest office in the land and she has a boss still named Joe Biden.
And when she was asked that question on The View, you know, is there anything you would have done differently?
And she said, no, can't think of a thing.
So on the one hand, she's out there talking about how this is a change election and she's the incumbent, but she's trying to sell this as a change election.
And on the other hand, she's like, well, I wouldn't change a thing.
I mean, it makes zero sense.
There's no internal consistency in her messaging or in the policies that she's trying to present, such as they are.
Let's talk, Rich, because you're such an expert data guy, talk about, and we'll get to the internal polls in a moment here, but the public polling that we see, usually you have an imperial media outlet, so the New York Times or CNN, whatever it might be, ABC News, Alongside maybe an academic institution like the Harvard Harris Poll or ABC slash something, right?
New York Times, Siena College.
How reliable are those polls?
I mean, they have a vested interest in promoting the left and the Democrat candidates.
So when people see those kinds of polls, should they take it all with a grain of salt?
Look, I mean, we all have track records, Monica.
I mean, that's the bottom line. And we have Google, right, or DuckDuckGo, and it's not that difficult to look up our track records.
And the New York Times has done a good job in midterm cycles.
They're pretty decent at polling limited electorates.
horrible at pulling the Trump.
Era in a presidential cycle and that is- that's the case with most of them and I'm active rattle off a few that really do try. Spencer Kimball at Emerson college really eat to be tries to do a good job- they've had their falters to in Florida was a bad call in twenty twenty- but for the most part. The media university universe. When they know what or not is really irrelevant the fact is the track record speaks for itself.
Morning Consult, I mean, it's kind of awful.
Let's get real, right? | ||
I mean, Democrat plus six on the generic ballot in 22.
But here's a kicker, over the weekend, NBC News, which is along with Morning Consult, one of only two polls to inaccurately project that Democrats would actually win the House vote in 22.
They actually have the race tied now.
What jumped out at me about that poll is that her favorability rating cratered.
And for all of the Biden administration, her favorability rating has been negative.
And then we had this media surge, she propped up, it looked bogus and artificial to me, and it has evaporated as of last week.
And then the NBC poll found that as well.
So we really have two polling universes, one that is bullish on Harris and really giving results that are not realistic.
They're not believable, right?
She's not gonna win Pennsylvania by six points.
That's better than Obama beat Romney, folks.
I mean, it's kind of ludicrous on its face.
And then you have the other world, which is showing a competitive race, trending in Donald Trump's direction, but a close one, but a close one.
And the internal polls for both campaigns, Rich, actually do show President Trump with the momentum starting to pull away both nationally and state by state as well.
What do you say to the argument, Rich, that the public polling coming from the imperial media organizations and the academic institutions, they have it a lot closer because they have to sell the steel?
So if they are planning to rig this election, and we all know that they're trying desperately in order to do that, that they have to make the race look a lot tighter than it actually is so that when they call the race for Kamala, it's a plausible lie.
It's a plausible sell. | ||
What do you say to that? I mean, I would caution them that the American public is not gonna buy it regardless.
They've been through this two times already.
One time, Biden with a huge lead, and then the race ended up being very close.
Look, this idea versus internal polls versus public polls, this is why I would tell people, even when you see yourself ahead, Never take your foot off the gas.
Always run like you're 10 points down.
And this concept, you have the election mafiosos, we call them over here, with this idea that there's never any electioneering and there's never any shenanigans.
I mean, were you born yesterday?
I'm from New York and New Jersey.
All they do is rig elections over there.
It was just an indictment from the Justice Department in Atlantic City recently, a couple of months ago.
And that's a long time effort.
So I get where people are concerned about that, but here's the kicker, Monica.
And the first time in my lifetime, Republicans are winning the first time voter, all right?
And this is because of Donald Trump, because they would not be able to do this without him.
The normie voter, it's not necessarily a young college student who's just eligible to vote.
They could be 45 years old, like someone we spoke to yesterday in Pennsylvania.
They could be 55 years old and they just haven't voted since Kerry Bush, right?
This is a new phenomenon.
Usually that voting group is for Democrats.
And as long as the Republican Party does what they are supposed to do, there's not enough votes out there for them to put through a scanner.
That's the reality. It's like this fiction.
They could just keep stuffing it forever.
They can't. There's a finite universe.
And if you get out and do your job and vote, you can swamp them.
Too big to rig out of the president's mouth is absolutely true.
Just do it. That's exactly right.
Swamp the vote. We've got to hit a quick break.
Rich, I want to hold you over for a couple of minutes, so please stand by.
More war room on the other side.
Let me ask you a question.
Do you think our country's going in the right direction, or does it feel like everything's falling apart?

I just want to go back to our friend Rich Barris.
Rich, a final question for you before we let you go.
When you're taking a look at this data and you're seeing the trend lines, Moving toward President Trump and then state by state, particularly the swing states.
Are you relatively optimistic about where we're headed over the next 20 days?
I think, look, if you're a Donald Trump supporter, you have a lot of reason to be optimistic.
He's in the best polling position that he's ever been in.
And he's really set to put up numbers.
Republicans haven't seen Monica with these key groups that have been costing them election after election.
And they claim to want to bring them into the tent, but haven't really made an effort to do it until the era of Donald Trump.
Yeah, I mean, there's no doubt Kamala Harris is the worst polling Democratic candidate that has ever run against Donald Trump.
We've only had two of them. And past isn't always prologue.
But this stuff is about trends.
You don't wanna peak too early.
If you ask John Kerry, who I brought up before, it is now three weeks out and the trend is moving in Donald Trump's direction.
That is where you wanna be.

Great to see you. Anytime, Monica.
See you soon. You bet. | ||
Now let's turn to our good friend Todd Benzman, who is deep in Mexico, and he's got a keen eye, very close eye, on an upcoming caravan.
Todd, welcome. Great to see you.
What can you tell us? Right.
Well, I'm down in Chiapas State, Mexico, deep south Mexico.
I came here because the Biden-Harris administration cut a deal with the Mexicans back in December to scoop up tens of thousands of immigrants from the northern provinces crossing our border and trapping them way down here in southern Mexico behind militarized roadblocks.
Well, now there's a new president of Mexico, and these caravans have begun pouring out of the enclave of Tapachula.
Behind me is one of about a thousand people that have been on the road now for about a day and a half.
They're probably, I'm not sure, I'm about a mile ahead of them, so they'll probably be here in a while, but what's interesting is that Instead of roadblocks, the National Guard of Mexico is actually escorting them.
And the police officers here at this checkpoint right here are telling me that their orders are to just leave them alone, let them go, which is something kind of new.
If this is a trend, that means that whatever the deal was that was cut with Biden and Harris is waning now, sort of on the wane, and all of these people look like they're probably going to be heading to the US border again.
unidentified
|
We should start to see the numbers come back up.
Maybe just in time for the election, but for eight months they've been able to keep most tens of thousands of people off our border and out of news drone sight, because it was a terrible optic.
That was the whole point of this operation, which they, by the way, never take ownership of that they did this diplomatic deal for the political optics.
And that's probably because the Mexicans have not been very nice to the immigrants as they bring them down south here.
So 3,000 strong caravan left about a week ago.
And this one behind me is about 1,000 strong.
Those should be coming up behind me here in about five minutes.
Todd, can I ask you, is there any sense on the ground there in Mexico that these caravans, as you say, they're probably going to be ginned back up, but for strictly political reasons that the Mexican government, as well as all of these illegal aliens who want to come into they realize that time might be very short, that the polls look like President Trump has the momentum, and this will end January 20th, 2021.
So they only have, what, a three or four month window to get across the border free of charge, right?
That's right. Stay tuned.
I just got in yesterday, so I haven't had a lot of time to interview the immigrants.
I will be interviewing immigrants for the next three or four days straight.
But I suspect that they're probably leaving Tapachula and heading to the border now because they feel like, well, if Trump wins, they're going to close the gates up there at the U.S. That's what I think is going on here.
But just stay tuned to my social media.
And have me back on, and I'll tell you what they're telling me.

Yeah, go ahead. Yeah, I was going to just one other thing that's sort of interesting to me that this is such a big American story that there's like there are no reporters here.
I can't believe that there's nobody on the ground in Tapachula from U.S. media outlets.
That's a huge enclave down there.
I was there with them all in the evening.
Last night and there were thousands and thousands.
I've been to Tapachula five or six times and I've never seen this many before jammed up down there like sardines in Tapachula.
That's a huge story. | ||
That's because of U.S. policy that they're down there and it'll be because of U.S. policy that the caravans are now moving forward as well.
