Speaker Time Text
andy biggs
...technical services division determined was going to be the event perimeter?
unidentified
Those are questions that we are asking, and... I mean, you're sitting here today... Come on, Director.
andy biggs
Everybody said this.
You knew you were going to be asked that question, because it's been asked multiple times.
So this is an easy one.
What did they determine was going to be the event perimeter?
So you should know that.
I mean, this is not... Gee, I've got to wait until someone else tells me.
What was it?
unidentified
Again, I don't want to speak to specifics of the event.
andy biggs
This is a specific.
unidentified
I understand.
andy biggs
This is a specific that you ought to know.
As someone who said, the buck stops with me.
I'm going to stay in my job.
I'm going to give the answers to the American people.
And I know what happened.
Except you're not going to tell us.
And you're not going to tell the American people.
And you yourself said in an interview that that foments this notion of conspiracy theories.
unidentified
Guess what?
andy biggs
When you sit here and repeatedly tell people, hey, I have to wait, as frustrated everybody on this committee, guess what?
It undermines your credibility and whether you're really going to get to it.
So I'm going to ask you again.
What did the Technical Service Division determine was going to be the event perimeter?
unidentified
We are still gathering reports.
andy biggs
We are interviewing individuals.
You know what it is, though.
No, you're just not going to tell us, right?
unidentified
When I have those details, I will most certainly share those.
andy biggs
Was the gun already on the roof, or did the shooter carry the gun up with him?
unidentified
I do not have that information at this time.
Director Chito, because Donald Trump is alive and thank God he is, you look incompetent.
If Donald Trump had been killed, you would have looked culpable.
There is no aspect of this that indicates that there has been any protection to Donald Trump.
The threat was identified before he took the stage, and the shooter was only killed after Donald Trump himself
was killed.
Not only should you resign if you refuse to do so, President Biden needs to fire you because his life, Donald
Trump's life, and all the other people which you protect are at risk
because you have no concept of the aspect that the security footprint needs to be correlated to the
threat.
steve bannon
This is the primal scream of a dying regime.
unidentified
Pray for our enemies, because we're going medieval on these people.
steve bannon
Here's how I got a free shot on all these networks lying about the people.
dave brat
The people have had a belly full of it.
I know you don't like hearing that.
unidentified
I know you've tried to do everything in the world to stop that, but you're not going to stop it.
It's going to happen.
jake tapper
And where do people like that go to share the big lie?
unidentified
MAGA Media.
jake tapper
I wish in my soul, I wish that any of these people had a conscience.
unidentified
Ask yourself, what is my task and what is my purpose?
steve bannon
If that answer is to save my country, this country will be saved.
unidentified
War Room, here's your host, Stephen K. Bannon.
dave brat
Dave Brat in the War Room with Stephen K. Bannon.
We open every show out of respect and honor for Steve, who has the full armor of God on and the sign of the cross behind him every day.
In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
It's an honor to be with you.
As Stephen K. Bannon would say, there are decades when nothing happens, and then there are weeks When decades happen.
And we are in one of those weeks.
We have a jammed war room show.
We have so much to cover.
It's not possible to get through it all.
But we have a star studded cast of war room favorites.
One of them is one of my best friends, perhaps my best friend up in the swamp.
And that is Congressman Andy Biggs.
He's with us.
You just saw the clip by him opening the show.
And I just want to give him a shout out because I suffered under the hardships.
And I want you all to support him on the war room as time goes by in several ways.
But one is he's one of the few in the war room.
The big three issues are always the border invasion, the two trillion dollar deficits on the administrative state and the endless wars.
Andy Biggs is 100% on every issue all the time and his credibility.
You just heard him questioning people on their credibility.
And there's no one that has a longer track record of telling the truth.
And of course, you pay a tremendous price up in the swamp for that.
And so, Andy, why don't you just tee us up?
What were the two or three bullet points you want to share with us from oversight today?
And thank God for you and thanks for being on the War Room with us today.
Andy Biggs.
andy biggs
Hey, Dave, first of all, before I get to the bullet points, you've got to tell the world, this man, his office was right next to mine when he was in Congress, and we had very loud discussions about what was going on here.
And it hasn't changed, Dave.
It's only gotten worse since you left, and so I blame you for leaving, because it's only gotten worse since you left.
Good to be with you.
But let me just tell you, when we start talking about what the Secret Service knew and didn't know and how they were supposed to protect and they didn't protect and they acknowledge, and you've got Director Cheadle basically saying, yes, it was a horrific, catastrophic, cataclysmic failure, but doggone it, I'm going to stay in my job.
I find myself saying, well, she's been in for 29 years.
I think there's a pretty good size bump Up in the retirement salary when you move to 30 years, so maybe that's part of the deal, right?
I mean, so just leave that as part of your context.
But here's the ultimate factor here.
What they call the blast radius, which is how you determine your perimeter, was, in my opinion, abnormally small.
The second thing is, you actually have videos of a person who she described as merely suspicious, who's got something in his hands, climbing up the side of the building, army crawling on the building, people yelling and screaming to law enforcement.
And she says, well, gee, that's just suspicious.
And so we were going to go ask him a few questions.
That's nutty as it can be.
The third thing is, when we start looking at this, You and I have been to many of these high-profile events with people like President Trump and other high-profile leaders.
If there is a suspicious individual, it is normal, it is routine to say, we're going to hold you here.
They don't even tell you why.
They just say, we're going to have a hold.
And I can't tell you how many times we've been going someplace and said we're going to have a hold.
And what's the hold do?
It allows Secret Service or the local law enforcement to determine if you've got a very serious threat or not.
And they chose not to invoke a hold on President Trump when they had all of this information well in advance.
And if Trump doesn't ever take the stage, this shooter never shoots.
And they should have been able to then clear the roof.
So let's just put it down to this, Dave.
Massive, massive failure here.
Yeah.
Dave, I did ask the question, you know, was this guy alone?
Was he a lone gunman?
Did he act alone?
dave brat
Yeah.
andy biggs
And she wouldn't answer that.
She said, oh, we got to talk to the FBI about that, you know.
Dave, these are all serious questions about something big like this.
dave brat
Do you have, there's breaking news, I don't want to throw it at you if you haven't seen it, but I was just scanning the papers and they say this guy, the shooter, had a connection with someone who worked near the FBI and they're tracking him and have you heard any, where can the war room go to find the best information on this?
andy biggs
I've heard that.
I don't know if that's what I call faith-promoting rumors or not yet, so I don't really know where you go to find out more about it.
If it's real, it's going to develop over the next couple of days.
But I would just tell the Warren posse, you got to stay on top of this because and really sift through the information because there's some stuff that that just is patently untrue.
And then there's some other stuff that is highly plausible, but we haven't seen enough evidence to corroborate it yet.
And then we're all getting stoned on the evidence from the Secret Service.
Everybody needs to be on their toes.
We're going to be on our toes and keep trying to lay it out there in my social media.
And I know you will, and I know the War Room will as well.
dave brat
Right, right.
Hey, I hate to ask you this, but I got a bunch of our friends come on this show.
You're one of the very few where the War Room posse gives you 100% great.
Your credibility is through the roof.
And so, yeah, I have to pose to you the hardest question for members of Congress is, how do we regain our credibility?
All political views are my own, right?
I'm not talking red or blue.
But Congress, the Republicans, if there are never any consequences for awful behavior, in this case, catastrophically bad behavior, All right, when it comes to $2 trillion deficits, Ukraine, corruption, etc., laptops, FBI, CIA, three-letter agencies, the Congress has not held anyone responsible yet for anything.
And so part of this, you know, do you expect more or less bad behavior when the price is zero, right?
At a low price, they're like, hey, why should we stop doing this?
And does our leadership have an action plan for real this time to lay down some consequences so we don't get more of this horrific behavior?
andy biggs
Well, I did talk to the speaker today.
And I told him that look, I'm okay with him setting up his commission, his little commission, which should look a lot like the J6 committee, right?
I said, I'm okay with that.
I'll support that.
I said, but if you really want to get something done and get to the bottom of it, you're going to get, you're going to hire some investigators to come in.
Real people who know Secret Service, who know, you know, protections, details, stuff, and they can get to the bottom of this and reveal this to us, and you support them with subpoena authority, and then we hold people accountable.
But look, Dave, the first thing you can do, the closest we've come to holding anybody accountable is when my Holman rule went through on Mayorkas to remove his salary.
And then to impeach Mayorkas.
But the Senate didn't give us help.
Congress has one purse string, one leverage point, and you know this as well as I do.
And it's really a twofer because if you start defunding some of these agencies, these wrongdoers, these people abusing the system, these bureaucrats, guess what?
unidentified
If you start defunding them, you do two things.
andy biggs
Provided disincentive to all the other bureaucrats that are doing crappy stuff, right?
So that's one thing and the second thing is but you actually start reducing Spending how about that for a change where you actually start?
Taking away.
Yeah, the the the money from the authoritative You know administrative state those are the two things and so I guess that's a long way of getting back to I've introduced so many pieces of legislation I know you did when you were here and And did we ever see any of that go through?
No, no.
Our own colleagues, they like the status quo.
I mean, and so I never want to sugarcoat this with anybody.
I'll keep pushing.
I know there's a segment of our team that'll keep pushing, but we got a lot of folks that really, they just can't bring themselves to do it, Dave.
And that's the sad, sad truth.
dave brat
Yeah, hey, I just want to put a plug in for one of our friends whose name is Stephen K. Bannon.
And I don't ever want America, I don't care if you're Democrat or Independent or Republican or whatever you are, to forget how this man was put in prison, right, over just the most corrupt committee set up ever.
He wouldn't bend the knee to a falsehood.
And then it goes into the court system.
And so at the end of his term, Joe Biden, I don't know what his health condition is, his spiritual condition.
But I just hope whenever anyone up there mentions goodwill to you or to the Republicans, please use Stephen K. Bannon as a memory.
If you believe in goodwill and civility and working together, good.
Let Stephen K. Bannon out of jail.
as a political prisoner and then we'll talk.
And so I just, please keep spreading that around because the war room, you know, without Steve here
in his chair, it's just, the country's not the same.
andy biggs
That's right.
And, you know, we love Steve and Peter Navarro got the same treatment, you know, so tomorrow
for people in the posse, I'm the chairman of that subcommittee on crime.
We have the Bureau of Prisons Director Colette Peters coming in tomorrow and I've already told her I am requesting formally an opportunity to go visit Steve in the Federal institution that he's in right now.
I know he doesn't want visitors, but the reality is I want to go.
I want to see how he's being treated and I want to see what's going on there and we're not going to forget this and we have asked.
We filed resolutions and other pieces of legislation with regard to both Peter Navarro and Stephen K. Bannon to try to facilitate a fair release.
It's an uphill climb.
You know that.
unidentified
It is.
dave brat
Yeah, well, and Andy Biggs, one of the morally best guys on the Hill, and, you know, the left talks about retribution after they put political prisoners in, right?
So what does justice look like?
Democrats, please show us.
Please show us a better day.
Andy Biggs, God bless you.
Keep fighting the fight.
unidentified
War Room. Here's your host, Stephen K. Bannon.
dave brat
Dave Brat in the War Room with Stephen K. Bannon.
We haven't had enough time to do capital markets and geopolitics like Steve is so good at showing us what's coming around the corner.
And so I'll just give a quick one-minute overview, right?
We've had 70 years in a row of productivity going down, down, down in this country.
That is the real economy.
Productivity is what we're making, how much stuff you make per hour.
The CBO, the Congressional Budget Office, has us shrinking for another 30 years.
On top of that disaster, the Federal Reserve printed $9 trillion.
I think their balance sheet's down to $7.5 or only $8 trillion on their balance sheet.
We're running $2 trillion deficits per year.
The debt is now at $35 trillion, with $2 trillion deficits for the next 10 years.
So we will have $50 trillion in debt within the 10-year budget cycle.
We all know those facts.
And now the left is Trump-proofing the economy, right?
If you're watching the markets right now, I go out to FinViz, etc.
There's a lot of red there lately.
Something is starting to crack, right?
We don't want it to crack.
But they printed all the money.
They've done all the fiscal spending, right, the Keynesian stimulus to prop up this administration.
All the deep state is in on that game.
The timing of the jobs numbers, we've been covering that over and over and over.
You all know about how false the job numbers are in the first place.
I'll spend more time on this deep dive coming up.
But with that said, Check out Birch Gold.
Right now, in turbulent times, with the numbers I just gave you, those are all real.
The petrodollar is crumbling before our eyes.
Saudi Arabia just declined to renew the 50-year-long petrodollar agreement, which means the U.S.
dollar's global dominance is now riding on fumes.
How much longer until the dollar crashes in value?
You've already lost 20 or 30 percent.
Nobody knows for sure, but it's always best to be prepared.
I believe owning gold is the best solution.
Why?
Because gold safeguards your savings outside the dollar-connected financial system.
So if a crash happens, your hard-earned money will be protected inside precious metals.
Plus, with a gold IRA from the Birch Gold Group, you can move your IRA or 401k into physical gold without paying any taxes or penalties.
To learn more, get a free info kit on gold IRAs by going to birchgold.com slash Bannon.
That's birchgold.com backslash Bannon.
Birchgold Group is the gold group I trust to help patriots defend their savings.
So take a stand right now.
Go to birchgold.com backslash Bannon and get your free info kit on gold IRAs.
In the War Room, we don't give financial counsel, but everyone should have gold as part of their portfolio, so go visit Birch Gold and find out what the right portfolio alignment is best for you.
Right now, I think we have, is Catherine Engelbrecht on deck, Cameron?
Catherine, are you with us?
unidentified
I am, Dave.
catherine englebrecht
Great to be with you.
dave brat
Great.
You too.
Thanks for being on.
Catherine, one of Steve's favorites, one of the War Room heroes.
Catherine, why don't you bring us up to speed on what you've been working on, and thanks so much for being on the War Room today.
catherine englebrecht
Oh, thanks so much for having me.
And just hearing the earlier comments about Steve, he's in my constant prayers.
And you're right, the War Room, we're carrying on, but he is sorely missed.
So we've got all manner of things as it relates to election integrity.
You know, endless twists and turns, it seems, on the political side, but as it relates to election process, we have stayed hyper-focused on the core needs.
Number one, get the voter rolls as accurate as they can be.
Number two, look at the gaps we have in polling places and other positions across the continuum of elections and make sure that we have volunteers ready to go and make sure that people know that the need is there.
And then more broadly, we're about to launch another app called Vote Alert, which will be a way for people to connect and report what they're seeing on the ground.
And we're reaching out to the Latino community in a Spanish version of True the Vote called Voto Ernesto.
So we are blinders on and working for the best process that we can be a part of, despite all of the never-ending Changes and of course one of the biggest changes, lest I forget, is in Wisconsin where they have reintroduced drop boxes and drop boxes will also be a big part of what we are focused on in the coming months and making sure that we have eyes on and this time already working in conjunction with sheriffs to make sure they're looking at the feed at the same time we are.
dave brat
Catherine, we're all very grateful to you and the army of the posse out there that are doing this unthanked work, right?
You don't get all the glory, and we're so thankful to you.
As Steve would say, you're sitting there doing heroic work.
Where should the posse go?
What are the first, most important one or two things you would recommend when it comes to action, action, action?
Where do you call the posse?
What are the one or two most important bullets you'd shout out?
catherine englebrecht
First, go to truethevote.org and sign up because we communicate routinely through email as we launch new projects and as we explain where we are with the projects that are ongoing.
So check that out.
You'll also get all the information on all of the live webinars and trainings that we do throughout the week.
The second would be to check out IV3.us.
That is an app.
You can also find it from our website, but that's an app that gives citizens access to their local voter rolls where they can see the problems that they're facing, just how many ineligible records there are, and then we give you a step-by-step solution to help bring those to the attention of the county.
At present, we've got about 35,000 people looking at the rolls.
We've helped to challenge over 700,000 in over 1,300 counties across the country.
So it's a huge victory for the war room posse and patriots all across the country that are choosing in and not just sitting on the sidelines and accepting the imperfections when we still have opportunities to make it better for all of us for November.
dave brat
Yeah, right.
Catherine is a hero in the ranks, right with Stephen K. Bannon.
Catherine, it's hard to keep up with all the politics right now.
It's been the craziest week ever.
But what special motivation might you give us?
I saw the $50 million dump going to the left.
I saw Soros coming out with certain backings.
What else might you want to reference to motivate us?
Because we cannot sit back and think, you know, hey, the polling was good a week ago, etc.
It's a done deal.
It's not a done deal.
We don't even know what the Dems are going to do at their convention.
All political views are my own.
So what might you use to motivate the posse to say, hey, the game ain't over.
We're on the 10-yard line.
We got 90 yards to go.
catherine englebrecht
I think the posse can feel it just like I feel it.
This battle is so much more than politics.
This is a spiritual battle that we are in, and so we have to keep trained on the signal through the noise.
The noise will continue, but the signal is get out, vote, serve, and pray.
Do what you can do, and if we all do a little bit, we will be okay.
We can turn out and support in numbers that will eclipse Any of the, you know, any of the manipulations that they may have in store, but we must turn out in force.
We can take nothing for granted.
We can leave nothing on the field.
But in the end, I believe this is more a spiritual battle than anything else.
And so we just, we have to keep focused on what is right and true.
Let the rest of it go, keep our heads down and keep working.
dave brat
Yep.
Katherine Engelbrecht, thanks for being with us.
Stay up there for one second because everybody, just take a look.
You know, this is the best part of being in this movement, right?
The grassroots.
I started off in it 10 years ago.
The swamp kicked me out.
But Katherine Engelbrecht, right, just a look on her face.
When you get to hang out with people like that, right, when you go to your grassroots meetings, you're meeting the salt of the earth, the best people.
And there is a spiritual war going on.
We want all people to join us on the good side, right?
We don't hate anybody, right?
We love everybody.
No, this is- But we will fight to defend our families and our kids and
our country, right?
Catherine, I heard you weighing in.
catherine englebrecht
Fire away.
No, I mean, I just couldn't agree more.
This is not about party.
It's about principle.
It's about liberty.
It's about our future.
And we have work to do.
So we cannot get caught up in the cycle time and the endless spirals.
I mean, it's important to stay in touch and hear what's happening.
For sure, we've got to keep up.
And mercy knows something new is every hour, it seems.
But we have to find a balance between that and rolling up our sleeves and putting on our waders and jumping into where we are on the front lines.
Because I'm telling you, we need the help.
dave brat
Yeah, well, you just said it best.
We all just need to show up, and overwhelming, right?
As Stephen K. Bannon always says, two-thirds of the country's with us, right?
catherine englebrecht
That's right.
dave brat
If everyone gets out of the church pews and starts taking action, and all the passive folks that have just been laying easy, and the CEOs, and the wealthy who have taken advantage of this situation, We're calling you all.
Join this team to save the country for the rule of law, for freedom, for liberty, for freedom of speech.
The CEOs are scared to speak out these days.
Freedom of religion.
Christianity.
If you want to pray at school, you're in trouble.
They can read the crazy books in the public library.
I saw Kirk Cameron the other day.
They can read the drag queen books in the public library.
You can't read the Bible to a group of kids in the library.
If that's the policy of your library, your library's got it wrong.
And so, Catherine Engelbrecht, I see why Steve loves you so much.
Your blessing to the War Room and to the country.
Keep up the great work and thanks for being with us on the War Room today, Catherine.
catherine englebrecht
Thanks so much for having me.
Keep the torch going.
dave brat
We will.
Thanks to you.
Thank you, Catherine.
All right, we got Alex DeGrasse coming up.
Is Alex up?
Pull up, Alex, if he's there.
And we'll go to him right after the break.
But Alex DeGrasse with Team Elise Stefanik, the executive director.
He's going to lead us across the host of the politics happening these days, some polling stuff on the presidential candidates.
The vice presidential candidates, he's got the latest breaking news to share with us.
Stay tuned with The War Room and make sure that the ratings on this show don't go down
by one.
They should be doubling.
We need to double down like Catherine just said.
Spread this platform to all your friends.
See you in one minute.
unidentified
Stay tuned.
I was reading your article today, your column about Kamala Harris being a DEI candidate
and if so, so is J.D.
Vance.
And you write that the two of them, Kamala Harris and J.D.
Vance, have a few things in common.
They were both raised by tough, charismatic matriarchs.
They both pursued legal careers.
They both sought and won high elected office.
They both come from backgrounds that are underrepresented in the halls of power.
And now they're both engaged in the core work of politics, translating their stories into power. We've got to ask why one of these two
remarkable Americans stands accused of getting where she is based on DEI. You say the answer, you
fear, is written on their faces. I am afraid it is written on their faces.
And I think it's really important for us to think about the way in which race plays a role in our politics.
And it's very clear that there will be an attempt to try and paint Kamala Harris as being some sort of, you know, like super lefty black progressive.
And the great irony of that is that's not who she is.
They're going to try to do it, but it's not going to work.
And when that doesn't work, I think the Reverend is absolutely right.
Their next resort will be to out-and-out racism.
And when I think about how that's going to play, I think a lot about my grandmother, who was a conservative Republican, a white Republican from Wisconsin, for whom overt displays of racism were just Too nasty and disgusting to countenance.
Sadly, she passed, but that's part of why she could never vote for Donald Trump the first time she didn't vote for a Republican in a presidential election in her lifetime as an adult.
And I think that that's a big part of what is going to be a problem for Donald Trump in running against Kamala Harris.
He's going to have to treat the race issue like a very delicate stick of dynamite, and I don't think he's capable of that.
I think out and out racism just doesn't fly.
And the gender stuff has changed too.
I mean, we're talking about an election that's happening in a post-Dobbs environment and really sort of fully post-MeToo as well.
And I think it's just going to become a lot harder for him to caricature and paint Harris in the ways that he was able to caricature and paint Hillary Clinton.
kamala harris
I have been privileged and proud to serve as vice president of the United States with Joe Biden as president of the United States.
We have a fighter, a leader with skill, vision, determination, and compassion.
unidentified
The Biden administration did task Vice President Kamala Harris with the issue of migrant crossings, naming her the so-called border czar.
Migrant encounters in the southern border have skyrocketed since Biden took office.
dave brat
You're confident this border is secure?
kamala harris
The border is secure.
unidentified
She's very politically astute.
And Vice President Harris is uniquely qualified.
I look to her as a successor.
To see what can be unburdened by what has been.
kamala harris
Based on what we've just been able to see and because we've seen it or not doesn't mean it hasn't happened.
But just limited to what we have seen.
I can imagine what can be and be unburdened by what has been.
You know?
dave brat
That's it. Dave Bratton war room with Stephen K. Bannon joined by Alex DeGrasse with team Elise
Stefanik, the executive director for team Stefanik.
He's a friend of the show.
He's been on.
Before he digs into it, I just always have one plea for the Democrats.
If you want to illustrate what real justice looks like, right?
Lady Liberty, blindfolded justice is blind.
We're a nation under law.
Pardon Stephen K. Bannon, right?
Who's a political prisoner right now by a corrupt committee set up that had no minority representation.
No equal treatment of the folks on the committees.
And that's a good point.
I hope everyone in Congress asks that question.
To President Biden right now in a lame duck session, and to Kamala Harris, the vice president,
perhaps the presidential nominee on the Democrat side.
What do you want justice to look like?
If you want to just play straight justice, just show us.
And that might bring the country together.
I'm not a utopian.
And there's no feelings in the war room.
But that's the question I want to ask.
Alex, T.S.
up.
What are you seeing out there on the political horizon?
What's coming at us here?
alex degrasse
Thanks, Dave.
It's certainly an honor to be here sitting next to Steve's chair, and we all think about him.
As I'm out on the trail across the country at the convention, you know, people stop.
They know I've been on the show.
They want to talk to me about Steve.
I just was in Indiana, was in Michigan, and the amount of voters that are praying and sort of have taken the call to action are involved, are working as poll watchers, which is Actually, the most important thing that many of us can be doing to be involved and to secure your vote.
But it's certainly just great to be part of the movement.
Great to be here.
So the Kamala, it's very interesting because I think strategically, Dave, I think we just have to be very sober about the reality, which is, A, I think she is overall a weaker candidate.
The numbers show that.
I think there's positives and negatives for the Democrat side.
But what's important is we've had a lot less time to define her and President Trump's been putting this out on truth sort of like we've been scammed.
You know, we've spent this money.
We've attacked Biden.
They're kind of swapped.
They swapped him out.
And now we've got Kamala, right?
And so that is an interesting dynamic.
So it's important for the party, whether you're a committee member, a town committee member
involved, a donor, anyone to be out there talking and pushing what we're going to talk
about on Kamala Harris.
I mean, she is the enabler in chief and you see the media out there.
They're talking about, well, you know, they're not going to attack her as much.
It's all a scam.
They're doing anything they can to protect Kamala and run interference.
She has owned every single one of Joe Biden's policies, which I understand the policy knows
the policy knows full stop.
But her instincts are even worse.
I mean, she's actually way to the left of Joe Biden.
That's the reality of it.
And it's on us as Republicans at all levels of the party to get out there and push that
message.
I think if you want to talk about some of the polling we've seen in some polls, she
might be outperforming President Biden by one or two percentage points and a lot of
polls underperforming him by one or two points.
This is a sort of a stagnant race with President Trump leading outside the margins in both the national polling average as well as more so in the battleground states.
Now I think two interesting developments in the last few hours, Dave, if I can.
It looks like I just got an email alert from fellow leadership, and they're talking about
It's moving very fast on the Hill I think there were some questions is there gonna be another
candidate is there gonna be some of the convention of course
Based off the DNC rules there easily could be but you're seeing swing state Democrats these sort of frontline
Democrats That's what they call them in these sort of targeted seats
that we're targeting. They're falling in line pretty quickly
I'm looking in New York.
Almost all of them have endorsed Kamala in some capacity, whether it be candidates or the seats that we're targeting.
And so I think this is sort of wrapping up quickly, more than we probably would have expected, because I would have thought the Democrats would have considered another option, maybe a more conservative option or another direction to sort of rid them from the Biden administration's stake.
Kamala is, as the vice president, the lowest approval rating and job
performance of any vice president in the history of polling in modern days.
So since essentially the fifties.
So, you know, we feel great about the fact that she owns all of Joe Biden's
record and all of these policies.
But I think you talked about the $53 million, Dave, and sort of how
quickly the Democrats are moving.
I think you're going to see, and one of the things that we always spoke about with Steve and myself on this show was with Joe Biden, they really had an enthusiasm problem where their core Democrat support was sort of not enthusiastic to get out to vote for him at levels that they really needed to be in a competitive race.
And we're seeing the Dems in certain segment of the Democrat base are very motivated.
You're seeing that with the money.
You're seeing I'm reading now these alerts I'm getting about all these calls and especially among the African-American community and the Democrat on that side of things.
They are fired up like you can't imagine and this is not going to come easy.
I mean, we are in a great position on this race, but things are going to heat up.
It's going to get I think it's going to get really tight just because of the fundamentals and how this is going to work out with their money and everything else the fact that we're starting over but Being a poll watcher, being a volunteer, involved with the campaigns, whether it's just President Trump's campaign, your local races, which are in many cases the most important, House, Senate, all of that's going to be key.
But with Kamala, we have to educate people and we have to stay on the message, because there's a lot you could talk about, her personal life, this, that.
It's not worth it.
The most important thing is two fronts.
A, what she's going to do as president if she becomes president, all of it disastrous.
And B, what she's done as the enabler-in-chief.
All of Joe Biden's records, and again, what just broke Dave as I've been sitting here for the last 30 minutes, is she's apparently turned down a meeting with Bibi Netanyahu.
So for our Jewish viewers, for our Christians that are focused and support the Israel relationship, I mean, Kamala is a disaster for the state of Israel.
She is pro-Hamas, much more than Joe Biden, who I believe was even pro-Hamas.
obviously with the holding the weapon sales and things like that.
unidentified
Yeah.
alex degrasse
So I think it's they're going to move very quickly to wrap it around.
Come on.
I think things are going to get hot.
We cannot get complacent.
I think she's a weaker candidate because of how disastrous she is as a person and politically
how she speaks and her struggles, just like Joe Biden in many ways.
But this is sort of a new animal and it's going to be coming on all of us to kind of
get after it hard.
dave brat
Yeah, I everybody's kind of with you on that, on the percentages.
But the one thing hanging out there right now, I saw how the unit party can move right.
My own races and whatever, when the establishment moves, the one person who's out there with
immense power, all political views are my own is is president, former President Obama.
He hasn't committed yet that I've heard and he's out there and you know the way the establishment always works the unit party on both sides they just wait they may make it look good for appearances sake you know Kamala's good and you know we're all gonna be with her but then all of a sudden something emerges right in a few weeks or something Oops, we had no idea of this fact!
Oh my word!
Is that scenario plausible at all that Obama is waiting out there with an alternative candidate?
alex degrasse
100%.
I think it is the most telling that Obama hasn't endorsed.
I think those guys are really pulling the strings.
They have been on Biden.
They are now through the DNC and other sort of forces at play.
And I think it's just, I'm surprised that they're moving quickly in the Hill in a regard, but ultimately to your point, it doesn't matter.
That sort of noise.
And that's going to be a problem for them because Kamala is a disaster in these swing districts.
I mean, her positions, I mean, she openly said there's no such thing as an illegal immigrant, right?
Undocumented immigrants are not criminals.
I mean, that's on video.
unidentified
Wow.
alex degrasse
So many of the policies that Joe Biden sort of supported, she has come out, she has said, and we have video, she's said it.
So we're going to be playing that around the country and really hammering her.
dave brat
Yeah.
alex degrasse
Despite what MSNBC says a week.
Somehow we can't attack her or this or that.
Go ahead.
dave brat
Let me keep you going on that one line, right?
So I haven't seen the mechanics of this convention spelled out, but the newspapers and all, you know, the usual suspects are laying out the narrative, the New York Times, the Post, and whatever.
And 50, you know, heads of the state committees have all agreed to support Kamala, etc.
So they're making it look like it's a done deal.
But when you go to that convention, are all those delegates still in play?
Can they still vote individually?
Do you know what the mechanics of that look like?
alex degrasse
Yeah, the mechanics are the delegates that were bound by Joe Biden, per the DNC rules, they're not automatically bound by Kamala.
So actually they are open delegates, which is why this is still being branded as an open convention, because it is.
Although Kamala has, to your point, the establishment's quote unquote, so the establishment support among everything else.
And I think ultimately there's still tons of delegates that we're just not sure of.
And I know that there's Delicate meetings happening and people are talking and I'd be interested to hear what they're talking about but it's fascinating because I think anything is on the table to your point.
We could see a baby switch here.
dave brat
Yeah, well, yeah, I just remember when I was in Virginia politics in the U.S., you had the check writers and the grassroots.
The grassroots would always come to the aid and do the right thing for the country.
And then the check writers wouldn't come in.
And this time, to my great joy, the Republicans were all happy together.
It looked incredible.
And on the Democrat side, I just find it very hard to believe that everybody's in a joy unity moment right now.
I think there's some folks out there that still want their hands on power.
And so we'll be back with Alex DeGrasse in a few seconds.
Stay with us on The War Room.
Take a one minute break and email a friend with a link to this platform.
Right back.

The scandal of the century.
Our president lacks the mental fitness for office, and Mary Paltola covered it up.
Paltola met privately with Joe Biden.
She witnessed Biden's mental failures up close, but allowed crisis to rage under Biden's frail leadership.
Mary Paltola ignored our concerns.
He's one of the smartest, sharpest people I've met in D.C.
Tell Mary Paltola to stop defending Biden when she knows the truth.
dave brat

We're back on with Alex DeGrasse with Team Elyse Stefanik.
You know Elyse Stefanik, the Harvard grad, taking on Harvard and the other Ivy League universities that were out of control.
So proud of her and the work she did.
She took a total leadership role there and so, Alex, make sure you say hey to Elyse from the war room and from me.
I used to sit with her in Congress and she's just a great person.
And so why don't you close, Alex?
I think you had some breaking news you wanted to share and some additional polling numbers.
alex degrasse
Sure.
So we just showed that ad, and I think that ad's important.
We just had the latest poll just come in, Forbes poll, which is a national poll, and it does have Trump up 11 points on Kamala, 51 to 40, which is good.
You want to be over that 50 level.
That's really strong and sort of unheard of for a Republican in a national poll.
But changing gears here quickly, we showed that ad and that ad is running in 10 districts, 10 of our top targets, each specified towards the said Democrat incumbent.
And it's interesting because we're talking about Kamala and that's sort of the word of the day, of course, but the reality and what's behind the current, so the signal, not the noise, of course, is the fact that all these Democrats, many of them who called on Joe Biden to even step aside.
and I think that all of that is true, and I think we all agree with that as well. So we have to get out there and
explain because President Trump needs a House majority, aside from the House.
We have an aggressive agenda that they want to pass, and President Trump's agenda, you can find it on his website.
Right on the money.
dave brat
right on the money.
alex degrasse
... for President Trump's agenda, right?
And they want to get that through.
So they need a Republican Congress and a Republican Senate.
And we just can't only focus on just President Trump, which is the most important, of course.
The Congress and the Senate, we all work together as one team.
And these seats, like Mary Paltoa in Alaska.
Very good.
Great.
President Trump went to Alaska, there's no excuse.
unidentified
Yep.
alex degrasse
We have to take that home.
We've got cannons running.
We've got to get it done for the Republicans there and all these top targets.
So the key is we're hitting Kamala, but we're focusing on Joe Biden.
dave brat
So I think Alex, we got to jump.
Alex DeGrasse, team.
Elise Stefanik, say hey to Elise for all of us on the War Room.
