| Dave Brat, I want to get back to you for a second, but Dave, this thing on the bridge, I said this morning when I first saw it and first heard it, and I actually posted one out there and got some great footage, but the thing on the bridge is, first off, when you go in and out of harbors, I don't care if it's in Hong Kong, if you're in Singapore, of which I've, or Tokyo, these ones in Asia and the Middle East that I've pulled in and out of, Philippines as a young naval officer, | ||
| These big cargo ships, and even sometimes naval vessels, although they hate doing it, you have to take on a pilot. | ||
| They don't let, if you've seen those massive cargo ships, those cargo ships are under, until they get to kind of the open ocean or to where Baltimore Harbor gets into the Chesapeake Bay, they have a pilot on board. | ||
| These things are crewed by like 15 or 20 people, those massive ships, but you have a pilot. | ||
| That pilot is, it's a union, they're very specialized, they know that harbor. | ||
| And also, you're not just under full power. | ||
| Now, you're not going full power, but you have all the boilers, or you have your gas turbines. | ||
| Everything's up. | ||
| Everything's online. | ||
| On a moment's notice flip, but you also have backup generators. | ||
| When you're in tight quarters like that, You have backup generators. | ||
| And the pilots know this. | ||
| As soon as they come on board, you go through a whole checklist. | ||
| And I believe the pilots are taken on board right at dockside. | ||
| They don't come alongside the ship. | ||
| They come alongside the ship when you're coming in. | ||
| But when you're leaving, you go up and that is a standard evolution that you go through. | ||
| And these pilots have been doing this. | ||
| These guys are experienced. | ||
| They're not kids. | ||
| These are very experienced people. | ||
| You go through the entire checklist and you make sure the backup generators are on. | ||
| So if you lose power, In the tight quarters, it's not catastrophic. | ||
| You can have a catastrophic loss of power, but you immediately have a backup generator that gives you a modicum of steerage and engine power. | ||
| And here's what I don't get, and I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but I'm just looking at that chart and looking at the thing, the guy, somehow it turned in right into the bridge, you know, stanchion or the major part of the bridge. | ||
| It just makes no sense. | ||
| I mean, the pilot has got to be grilled here. | ||
| It just makes no sense. | ||
| You have a train, and it was clear night with no wind, because you see the freeboard on that ship. | ||
| You could get blown over, but it looked like no wind. | ||
| A beautiful, clear night. | ||
| There was no fog. | ||
| And understand, ships lose power. | ||
| The backup systems on these things, because remember, the economics of it, they only have 20 guys on board. | ||
| And to be brutally frank, a lot of the captains on those ships are not like Lord Horatio Nelson, okay? | ||
| We used to see them in the open ocean all the time, and hey, they don't follow the rules of the road, you've got to move out of the way of them. | ||
| But when you're in tight quarters in these major industrial ports, right, like coming into the ports in New Jersey that form New York Harbor, or coming into Baltimore, or coming into like Tampa, or LA, San Pedro in LA, or all the parts in Asia. | ||
| Europe I'm not familiar with, I didn't sail there. | ||
| But it just makes, there's something, it just, you had a pilot on board, you had a clear night, of course you had a catastrophic loss of power, the lights went down, you see them try to come back on if you watch the night thing, but the system's got redundancies. | ||
| It has redundancies specifically for this Uh, this, this type of thing happening. | ||
| And then you got the ability to drop an anchor and just stop the thing. | ||
| You might tear the front of the vessel out, but at least you're not going to take down a bridge. | ||
| It's, something is very suspect about this. | ||
| In particular, if you look at the chart, if you look at at least the, and I think Daily Mail's got it up, somehow they turned toward, the one thing you wouldn't do is turn towards it and say, well, they lost power and lost control. | ||
| Hey, there's a backup generator that's giving that steer, it's giving steerage. | ||
| It's giving your rudders power. | ||
| And you're telling me you lost main propulsion, you lost all of that, and then you lost the backup? | ||
| Somebody's got to warn me. | ||
| Some admiralty board's got to look at that, like, immediately. | ||
| Because I ain't buying it. | ||
| I'm not buying it. | ||
| This system's set up for redundancy and set up for it. | ||
| So I'm not saying it's terrorism, but these people that jump in, it's not terrorism right away. | ||
| Whoa, whoa, whoa. | ||
| Let's just get the facts here. | ||
| This is what I love about the MAGA movement. | ||
| We ain't buying anything. | ||
| We want to see the receipts, right? | ||
| And I'm telling you right now, the receipts on this kind of stink, it doesn't stink to high heaven yet, but there's more questions than answers. | ||
| And by the way, we see the same thing all the time in the economy. | ||
| What Brad is showing you is how supposedly, remember the smartest guys, the guys living out in the Hamptons, the Wall Street financiers and all this, you do understand what we're doing right now is madness. | ||
| This is madness. | ||
| This is beyond Keynesian, and even people say some of the Keynesian theory is madness. | ||
| This modern monetary theory and the way it's being executed by the elites in this country, they've basically figured out they have a perpetual money machine in the Fed, and they have a compliant house. | ||
| And this is what it gets back to Rachel Maddow's normal politics. | ||
| They just want the Republican Party and they want the Wall Street Journal and Elon Musk has got a great tweet of about the falling off the cliff of the Wall Street Journal's online presence because people aren't reading anymore because they understand it's just a Murdoch controlled opposition mouthpiece. | ||
| You look Fox News, the Wall Street Journal, Nobody opposes. | ||
| In fact, the Wall Street Journal goes out of its way every day to dump on this audience and to dump on guys like you and me. | ||
| They're saying, oh, these are revolutionaries, these are records. | ||
| Well, hold it. | ||
| I think we're the ones doing some pretty simple math and saying you can't go on here. | ||

| Yeah, well, that is the key point that I wanted to drive home. | ||
| And it's hard to show what the profession is not showing. | ||
| No one will do any research on the major issues of our day, right? | ||
| What is the economic impact of the border invasion? | ||

| What's the impact of $35 trillion in debt and $50 trillion in nine years? | ||
| What's the impact? | ||
| Economists, they do not want to put it down on paper. | ||
| They do not want to sign their names to it. | ||
| What's the impact of a trillion dollars in interest payments right now and $2.5 trillion when you get up to $50 trillion in debt? | ||
| It's catastrophic, right? | ||
| You don't want to go into the politics. | ||
| But yesterday, I'll just throw in a bomb that I haven't heard much commentators on yet, but the Liz Cheney remarks, right, from the Republican Party in the House on the committees that put, you know, Navarro in jail. | ||
| And all political views are just my own. | ||
| But when she said yesterday, you know, the only hope for making progress in politics is that the Republicans cannot win the House. | ||
| And I'm going, you know, oh my word. | ||
| I mean, where has she gone? | ||
| And then that bounces you back to her dad and Halliburton and the money and the elitists and that ties into the elitist graph. | ||
| And so it's just unbelievable what the upper crust will do to this country. | ||
| They don't want a Republican House that's the only reins. | ||
| I mean, they're highly imperfect. | ||
| I get the war rooms infuriated right now, right? | ||
| But they're the only checks. | ||
| They're running against Santa Claus on the left. | ||
| And so, but for her to say that the Republicans have to lose the House, I was just shell-shocked. | ||

| That is the tune that Lord Cornwallis, the general that was defeated at Yorktown, right down kind of at the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay, near the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay, when the French Navy cut off the Royal Navy to resupply his army. | ||
| He surrendered after a quite intense battle with General George Washington. | ||

| He played that because he was sending a signal. | ||
| The world was turning upside down because the Patriots had won the American Revolution. | ||

| Remember, my theory of the case is that the the actual War with the British over the formation of the United States didn't end until General Jackson at the Battle of New Orleans when he absolutely crushed, crushed Wellington's field army that had come over here to actually take New Orleans and then cause more havoc. | ||

| All the people said, well, Steve, the peace treaty was negotiated. | ||

| The fiduciary responsibility is with the bank to independently do their own due diligence, make their own models, have their own experts, and sit there and go, yes. | ||

| They come back with the terms of the loan. | ||
| Now people like Trump and that negotiate and finally come up with a loan, but the terms of the loan are given by the providers of the loan. | ||
| The fiduciary responsibility to the Federal Reserve, the bank system, their shareholders, all of it rests with the banks or rests with the insurance companies. | ||
| That's why they're called underwriters. | ||
| That's why they have a fiduciary responsibility. | ||
| This is what they ran away from in 2008. | ||
| This is why the system is not working. | ||
| The scissor's not working because of the rot there. | ||
| And now you have courts... So here's the question. | ||
| Have they started criminal proceedings against the banks? | ||
| Trump never defaulted, never missed a payment on the terms that they laid forward. | ||

| Deutsche Bank, all these banks all have the models, all have the due diligence, they all have an email chain among the grundoons because now that's how it's done. | ||

| What President Trump did was in the normal course of business. | ||
