| It's the Ides of March, our kind of classic traditional Ides of March we've done for the last, I don't know, three or four years. | ||
| We're going to do tonight at six o'clock. | ||
| We're going to go through the Ides of March and we're going to contemporize it because we're going to talk about Robert Kagan's Red Caesar piece, I think three or four thousand words in the Washington Post a month or so ago that laid out the moral justification for Brutus and for the Plotters to kill Caesar and to make the analogy that Trump is the new Caesar and that it's morally justified to assassinate Donald J. Trump. | ||
| So we'll talk about that at six o'clock tonight plus play some classical footage of Shakespeare's Play should be called Brutus, but it's called Julius Caesar. | ||

| So Charlie, given In particular, we started the show and we did, besides the Kamala Harris piece, we did almost an hour on the border, Haitia, the complete collapse and disaster. | ||
| The polling numbers are awful. | ||
| Biden will tell people, he said, hey, I had so much on my plate. | ||
| We handed this off to Kamala. | ||
| We knew it was going to be a big issue, particularly since they're allowing the invasion and setting it up. | ||
| But we wanted her to deal with it. | ||
| She absolutely dropped the ball to the fact it looks like from the outside, and you did the inside research, she just kind of walked away from it. | ||
| It was too hard, so she just kind of walked away. | ||
| How did somebody like that get picked to be the vice president? | ||
| They had a whole deep bench of people they could go to. | ||
| How was it that Kamala Harris ended up as Biden's running mate? | ||
| Yeah, you remember during one of the last primary debates with Bernie Sanders, Joe Biden was just desperate to try to finish this deal. | ||
| And he vowed that he would pick a woman president, a woman vice presidential candidate, a running mate. | ||
| And then as the summer of rage, the summer of George Floyd and all the riots continued, then it became very clear to both Biden and his campaign staff that they needed a woman of color on the ticket. | ||
| Look, look, Biden liked Gretchen Whitmer. | ||
| He thought that she was a great communicator, had that Midwestern appeal. | ||
| She liked to talk about fixing the damn roads and she was into infrastructure. | ||
| That was all good things from Biden. | ||
| She was at the top of his list, but when it came down to it, his campaign advisors, Barack Obama himself, stressed to Biden, you don't want to make the same mistake as Hillary. | ||
| Hillary picked a vanilla white senator from Virginia to run with and lost the Obama coalition. | ||
| If we want to bring back the Obama coalition, we need to pick a woman of color. | ||
| And obviously, there were several women of color on the list, including Susan Rice, of all people, from the Obama administration. | ||
| That was Jill Biden's favorite. | ||
| Jill Biden wanted Susan Rice. | ||
| She was not happy with the idea of Kamala Harris. | ||
| She was very hurt. | ||
| The entire family was furious after they took a shot at Joe. | ||
| After Harris took a shot at Joe during the primaries. | ||
| But, you know, there are a lot of senior advisors on Biden's team and even Obama himself. | ||
| They're like, give Kamala another look. | ||
| Forgive her for her past transgressions. | ||
| She's our number one pick. | ||
| And that's how she ended up being on the ticket that summer. | ||
| You've got to get this book, Amateur Hour. | ||
| It's deeply reported as only Charlie Spearing. | ||
| Charlie Spearing is a honey badger from that original Breitbart team. | ||
| You were absolutely amazing as our White House correspondent. | ||
| Charlie, here's the question. | ||
| When you read the book, Why is she on the ticket now? | ||
| I mean, not just the politics. | ||
| I realize the politics may be tough, but she comes across as so incompetent. | ||
| In fact, you wrote the book's title is Amateur Hour. | ||
| She's so incompetent that you can't see her as commander in chief. | ||
| You can't see her as the chief magistrate or as the chief executive for the U.S. | ||
| government. | ||
| Why don't they remove her and try to get somebody else? | ||
| Yeah, Steve, when you make an intense political decision based on identity politics, you know, you live by that, you die by that. | ||
| There's no way he can be seen as pushing aside the historic first black woman vice president, unless you're going to bring up another, you know, African American or you know another black American to fill her place and then even so you just can't do that without angering a Significant portion of her base. | ||
| This is why the Michelle Obama conversation keeps on going despite their attempts to shut that down Because Michelle Obama would be the only one That the black community would would accept to jump over Kamala at this point to run for to actually run for president, you know until you know We recently a couple weeks ago saw, you know a reiterated statement from her people from Michelle Obama's people that she was not interested in running But I think until you see Michelle Obama on camera saying she will not run for president. | ||
| I think that's still a possibility. | ||
| I The numbers are shifting historically now, particularly among African American men, to support President Trump. | ||
| Doesn't anybody realize the identity politics? | ||
| Because I can't imagine the Obama camp, which is pretty powerful, Susan Rice, Michelle Obama, they can't be happy with how she's actually performed. | ||
| The identity politics aside, if you read your book, Amateur Hour, and I recommend everybody get it if you're interested in the Democratic side of politics, she comes across as an amateur. | ||
| I can't believe that Cold, hard political operatives like Susan Rice and like Michelle Obama are happy with that. | ||
| Right. | ||
| You know, Susan Rice was in the administration as a policy advisor for Biden, and she ultimately left because it was very clear to her that there was no future in this administration, that there was certainly no future working with Kamala Harris, because Kamala Harris viewed her as a threat. | ||
| She and her team did everything they could to keep Susan Rice away from that vice presidential running slot, even though the Biden family kind of liked Susan Rice in spite of all the Benghazi nonsense. | ||
| But yeah, at this point, they're just praying they can get Biden across the finish line. | ||
| And that's why you saw Nikki Haley really running hard on the idea that this is not an election for Joe Biden. | ||
| This is an election for President Kamala Harris. | ||
| And I imagine we'll see the Trump team make a lot of that same argument going forward. | ||

| One thing, and Charlie, this is one of the reasons I wanted to do this today with the book. | ||
| I don't doubt at all that President Trump's campaign, given the hard-nosed political operatives over there, are going to go through Charlie's book in detail. | ||
| And I think Kamala Harris is going to be an important part of this campaign as they highlight the fact That a vote for Joe Biden is a high probability. | ||
| You could have Kamala Harris eventually as commander in chief if he can't finish the theoretical second term. | ||
| It will scare the daylights out of the American citizens because they really haven't gone into the story. | ||
| The book is shocking. | ||
| I mean, Charlie's a fair guy, and for Charlie Spearman to label the book Amateur Hour, it shows you how amateurish she is, and it's pretty shocking, and the whole way she was selected. | ||
| Interesting you find out that the people around Biden really are very worried about this, because they think it's a very big deal, because they know how incompetent she is. | ||

| This is going to become a big part of the campaign, no doubt, as it should be fully better. | ||
| And that's why President Trump is going to fully vet his VP. | ||
| And it'll be quite interesting who he picks. | ||

| We always love to highlight grassroots and we try to get as much in here as possible. | ||
| Because the precinct strategy, the school boards, remember the Catholic concept of subsidiarity, where the best government is down at the closest level, and that's also just quite frankly where we can win and start taking control. | ||
| That's why do you think the Guardian and MSNBC, and they got like three or four books being written about the precinct strategy, about the school boards, because they understand there we have power because you don't need hundreds of millions of dollars in TV ads. | ||
| You can get in there and you make great changes. | ||

| And particularly in really Fairfax County is kind of like to politics, in Virginia particularly, like California is to general politics. | ||
| It's been a cash machine, but it's always, since it's really an adjunct of Washington D.C. | ||
| now, it's kind of destroyed my beloved Commonwealth of Virginia. | ||
| Why are you running out there to be the head? | ||
| Tell me, why are you doing this? | ||
| Why are you doing this? | ||

Really, it's the reasons you just said. | |
| You know, I realized after a lifetime of national security, after serving the Trump administration at DHS, and then being at the Heritage Foundation, I realized Washington is not going to save us. | ||
| The RNC is not going to save us. | ||
| And even the RPV, the Republican Party of Virginia, is not going to save us. | ||
| I really believe it's what happens at the local level. | ||
| And you're right. | ||
| Fairfax has gotten more and more problematic. | ||
| You cannot win an office in Fairfax as a Republican. | ||
| But you identified a couple of the key things that we've identified as well, which is For example, the precinct strategy is so important. | ||
| What we've seen here is if you have strong precinct captains, you can have an unbelievable grassroots effort. | ||
| And we've done some of that in Fairfax, but we've got too many precinct captain positions empty. | ||
| So we want to change that. | ||
| Another thing that we've done, because you talked about the Catholic notion of subsidiarity, which is so important, I started a group called Catholics Engaged for Fairfax, because we found that so many people in the churches are not actually getting out and voting their values. | ||
| And one of the things that we were able to do with that group was we had an incredible postcard writing campaign in this last local election. | ||
| We sent out 19,000 handwritten postcards And we tested some different groups with that. | ||
| And one of the things that we found is, with a target audience of likely conservatives, Catholics, but people who were not voting, just with that touchpoint of a handwritten postcard, we were able to increase voter turnout by 50%. | ||
| So, you know, a big part of our strategy going forward is going to be how do we find and identify and connect with those voters who are unengaged? | ||
| Because I think there are lots of them here in Fairfax County. | ||
| Well, I want to hold you to the break, because I want to drill down on some of these issues, because as below, so above. | ||
| Ralph Reed was on here the other day with evangelicals, and he's saying the same thing. | ||
| Between evangelical Christians and traditional Catholics, he thinks there's a net eight million of voters out there, of people who are deeply religious, but are just not in the political process, that if you had a touchpoint with them, would actually get out and vote. | ||
| It's not that they rejected, they just live their life, they're not part of it. | ||
| And you found that, you found a 15% increase in Fairfax County just by doing simple outreach? | ||

| Now, to be fair, Steve, that was a very particular slice, right? | ||
| That was, we experimented with different groups. | ||
| That one was Catholics, who were likely conservatives, who were not voting. | ||
| You know, we didn't get a 50% bump from every sector that we targeted. | ||
| So, you know, what this means, this was likely largely Hispanics. | ||
| And, you know, this is really important, Fairfax County. | ||
| A lot of people don't realize this, but 30% of the people in Fairfax County were not born in this country. | ||
| And 40% of the households in Fairfax County don't speak English as a first language. | ||
| What we are finding is, particularly among these sort of newer immigrants, you know, these are largely legal immigrants. | ||
| These are people who've come here legally. | ||
| They share our values. | ||
| They are pro-family. | ||
| They are pro-meritocracy. | ||
| They are pro-business. | ||
| Many of them are small business owners. | ||
| But they're not engaged politically. | ||
| Katie, just hang on for one second. | ||

| I went down to Texas on the eve of the primary to support Attorney General Paxson and his team. | ||

| Number one, We're a huge believer in this show. | ||

| So, well, the important thing is I spent 12 years living in Hungary, where I was working on the post-communist transition. | ||
| And that's where I really became passionate about my own country, because that's where I understood for the first time how devastating socialism is for the soul of a country. | ||
| And then, when Sebastian and I moved back to this country, right away we got pulled into the counterterrorism fight. | ||
| So, I had started a think tank called the Westminster Institute, working on that issue. | ||
| And then we did a lot of training for the FBI, the military, local police on the counterterrorist threat. | ||
| And that, of course, is what led to me then serving on Trump transition and the Trump's A real turning point for me actually came during the Trump transition because it was during those years that I was trying to serve President Trump and his vision for America, the vision that people had voted for, | ||
| But I started to see the deep state working against it. | ||
| And I don't know if I've ever told you this, but two of the people that I worked with most closely at DHS were both Lincoln Project. | ||
| And one of them actually turned out to be anonymous, the writer who wrote the book. | ||
| And at every turn, and I didn't realize it at the time, I didn't realize it until later, That at every turn they were trying to undermine the president and the American voters. | ||
| And so I think that was a real wake up call for me. | ||
| I was then very fortunate. | ||
| I went to the Heritage Foundation for a couple of years just at the moment when Americans were really starting to wake up. | ||
| So I got to be on the ground floor. | ||
| With a lot of these very powerful parents' movements. | ||
| I think I did one of the very first events ever with Moms for Liberty. | ||
| I stay close to them. | ||
| I'm on their advisory board. | ||
| I worked with Moms for America. | ||
| I started to see around the country how parents were standing up to what they were seeing in schools because they were not happy about it. | ||
| And it was really in the course of that that I said, I need to come home. | ||
| I need to focus on what's happening in my community, because Fairfax County has been taken over by the Democrats, and they're trying to seep that through red Virginia. | ||
| And, you know, we're seeing it now. | ||
| Unfortunately, the Democrats have both the House of Delegates and the Senate in Virginia, and The bills that they have been putting in front of Governor Youngkin are just appalling. | ||
| You know, all the life issues, but also they are really trying to take over the election process. | ||
| And that's what scares me the most. | ||
| And so that's why I decided I stepped up. | ||
| I'm running to be chair of the Fairfax County GOP. | ||
| Because as we were discussing earlier, I think we can turn this around. | ||
| I think there are many, many people in Fairfax County that share our conservative values. | ||
| But I think they're discouraged because they don't see Republicans winning here. | ||
| I think they are disengaged. | ||
| I think they're just living their lives. | ||
| They think that their single vote can't make a difference. | ||
| But you and I know that single vote makes all the difference. | ||
| So if people want to vote for me, they have to register to be a delegate. | ||
| The deadline for that, unfortunately, is tomorrow at noon. | ||

| The important thing is deadline to register is 12 noon tomorrow, Saturday, and then the convention itself is on April 6th and it's a super easy process. | ||
| It's just a couple of hours out of people's day where they go, they vote, very easy. | ||
| They have to be a Fairfax resident. | ||
| You know, in the late 60s, my mom, my dad had been a blue collar guy, had gotten into, never went to college, but got into the first rung of management from being kind of a foreman to the phone company, and he got a promotion, but that promotion, we're from Norfolk, but eventually, you know, raised in Richmond, and he was given a promotion, but had to move to Fairfax to do it. | ||
| My mom and dad went up there, spent a week in it, and they came back and my mom just said, no way. | ||
| You're not taking the promotion. | ||
| We're going to stay in Richmond. | ||
| Even at the time, this is in the late 60s, Fairfax, northern Virginia was starting to become different than Virginia, right? | ||
| It was just the seeds of it. | ||
| But she specifically said, and we were going to go to Catholic school up there, She just goes, I just don't like the environment. | ||
| There's something going on here. | ||
| It's just not. | ||
| I don't want my kids raised up there. | ||
| That was in the late 60s. | ||
| Today, it's just not Democrats. | ||
| We started this whole process a couple of years ago about the school boards. | ||
| We started covering people in Fairfax because what was happening so radical. | ||
| What has happened in Fairfax County? | ||
| Because this is just not your typical Democrats. | ||
| There's something so radical about the social agenda there. | ||
| That's shocking, and the fact that this is one of the wealthiest counties in the United States. | ||
| You notice the ten richest counties, seven of them surround the imperial capital of Washington, D.C., and a really greater Washington. | ||
| But what is it that has made the Democrats up there and others so radical when it comes to things like the basic traditional family? | ||
| Ma'am? | ||

I think you've got two things going on. | |
| I think one is that Fairfax, I believe it's been targeted because it is so prominent. | ||
| It is in such an important location. | ||
| And I think the Democrats and the radical left use it as a model for what can then happen in other places. | ||
| So you've seen extraordinary money pour in here from Soros and from others. | ||
| But I think the other is the fact that you have so many of the swamp elites And so, you know, they 100% skew left, and that's what's been driving it. | ||
| But again, you know, I think they've been allowed to dominate, but I don't think that they reflect what is really here in the heart of Fairfax County. | ||
| And, you know, I love the comment about what your mom said, but one of the things that's interesting is that even though Fairfax has gone Firmly left. | ||
| I will say, I think this is one of the best places in the country to be a Christian. | ||
| It is just unbelievable the vibrancy of the churches, both, you know, Protestant, Evangelical, and Catholic. | ||
| We've got 200 members in our group, Catholics Engaged for Fairfax. | ||
| We've got members that I think 23 out of 27 churches in and around Fairfax, and I go to several, I've been to multiple churches here, They are packed. | ||
| They are full. | ||
| They are full of big families. | ||
| They are full of people. | ||
| They are full of every nationality, every ethnicity. | ||
| So, you know, they're here. | ||
| We just have to engage with them and mobilize them and make the case to them that they have to engage and get involved politically and stand up for their values. | ||

| He's some grundoon over at over at DHS and just wrote a vicious book about President Trump with half of it appeared to be made up as just his own fantasies. | ||
| But she had to deal with that. | ||
| But this, I think, is quite inspirational for everybody that's at the at the precinct level of the school boards. | ||
| And, hey, audience, you should reach out to them any time you can. | ||
| They're not welcome with open arms. | ||
| When they go to the precinct strategy, it's not like the Republican establishment that goes all terrific. | ||
| I think it's one of the great things about the purge that's going on at the RNC right now. | ||
| You've got to purge those people that are the anti-grassroots, anti-MAGA, anti-deplorables. | ||
| Because it's been very tough. | ||
| Very tough for the precinct strategy. | ||
| When you go there, the first line of opposition you get is the establishment people that have been there. | ||
| Same with school boards. | ||
| The school boards have been some of the nastiest, toughest fights ever. | ||
| Not just to win the seats, once you get on the seat. | ||
| But that's the power of the grassroots. | ||
| That's what's going to save us. | ||
| We're so fortunate to have a leader like President Trump. | ||
| But everybody's got to step up and act. | ||
| Remember, it's a populist movement. | ||

| And the Israeli people are being stifled right now by a governing vision that is stuck in the past. | ||

| It's called Michigan, the primary. | ||
| That's what's changed. | ||
| We said this day was coming, but it's pretty shocking to hear it from Kryon, Chuck Schumer, Frank Gaffney, your observations and analysis. | ||
| Well, Steve, as you say, this has been kind of a telegraph punch. | ||
| The Biden administration has been betraying Israel really from its inception. | ||
| Not altogether surprising, given the people around Joe Biden include a bunch of Palestinian sympathizers, people who've worked with UNRWA, for example, the so-called UN agency that props up Hamas. | ||
| But beyond that, Steve, what we've seen is a ratcheting up of this whole endeavor as it relates now to Chuck Schumer. | ||
| Chuck Schumer is, of course, the Majority Leader of the United States Senate. | ||
| He took to the floor to denounce by name the elected Prime Minister of the State of Israel. | ||
| He castigated his cabinet. | ||
| He, I think, smeared him in terms of his larger agenda pre-October 7th. | ||
| This wasn't about co-opting the Supreme Court. | ||
| It was about bringing back into balance a democracy in which a court was running amok, as we've seen in Brazil and other countries around the world. | ||
| Here's the bottom line. | ||
| Chuck Schumer was sent out to kosherize, if you will, the Biden team's antipathy towards Israel. | ||
| I had a fascinating conversation with a mutual friend of ours, Rabbi Pesach Walicki on our show, Securing America. | ||
| And I'm very proud to be able to announce, perhaps for the first time to this audience, that right after the replay of the Saturday show, your favorite, of the week on Sunday, on Real America's Voice, this very network, Rabbi Pesach Wilicki will be the host of a new program, Eyes on Israel. | ||

| And that will only mean mortal peril for the state of Israel, because it won't be just facing resuscitated Hamas. | ||
| It will be facing Hezbollah. | ||
| It will be facing the Houthis, who are taking on the United States Navy with considerable effect. | ||
| And of course, Iran and its master, Xi Jinping of China. | ||

| Look, I don't think they ran the speech by him. | ||
| I think the speech was written in the White House. | ||
| You know, the guys like Meher Bitar, who is the head of intelligence for the National Security Council, who used to work for UNRWA. | ||
| That outfit I was just talking about, the Palestinian support network. | ||
| But Frank, you've done a great job exposing that, but no offense, there are a couple of three senior people in his administration that happen to be, I think, Jewish. | ||
| How can this be going on? | ||
| They're condemning the government of Israel at the very moment, and they're telling them there's a red line in Rafah. | ||
| If you go take out the battalions of Muslim Brotherhood and Moss Fighters, that's a red line the United States is not going to see. | ||
| You're the first guy to say, hey, the pier they're building in Gaza is to bring And Tuberville said this on the show, 750,000 to a million Palestinians that the Egyptians won't take and the Jordanians won't take, send them to the United States. | ||
| So there's senior Jewish people in the administration. | ||
| How have they turned on Israel? | ||
| Yeah, look, I'm not Jewish. | ||
| I can pass, I guess, and I certainly am righteous. | ||
| But what I am saying is there are people who are Jews and who hate Judaism or hate themselves as Jews. | ||

| And the psychology of this is pretty twisted. | ||
