Speaker Time Text

Last night we got a lot of results.
I was telling viewers that we heard from more states and more voters last night than any other point this year.
And big states.
So the population represented last night was roughly over 40% of America.
And so I'm curious what you make of what they're saying.
Biden's not running with real strong opponents, but we're seeing numbers that rival the Obama re-election numbers in terms of his unifying the Democratic Party, even amidst the issues you mentioned.
And we see Trump putting up numbers that got Haley out, but don't yet show party unity.
What do you take from the numbers last night?
Well, I don't take... I mean, they both had commanding leads all the way through.
President Biden did not have, you know, very much opposition.
Haley, you know, ran a gutsy campaign.
She got 25-30% a lot of places.
But all right, this is what I really think.
We're going to have a hard time replicating the 2020 coalition, particularly under 30 and non-white.
And for President Biden to come back to win this thing, we're going to have to do better with kind of middle voters, swing voters, loosely aligned, which the good news is we are doing that.
We're not winning elections on turnout.
We're actually winning elections with.
I don't know a better word than swing voters.
I'd say less hardly aligned voters we're doing pretty well with.
And I see that across the board.
We're going to have to do that.
We cannot rely on Democratic turnout to carry the day for us.
It's striking to hear you say that, because James, the under 30 was the single largest gap, largest edge Biden had demographically over Trump last time.
Well, black voters for sure, but the black numbers are tepid.
I mean, we've got to address that.
And I don't know if it's possible to replicate the 2020.
And the under 30 is decidedly unenthusiastic or detached right now.
I mean, that's pretty clear.
What I'm sure the White House would say is, look, at the end of the day, they're going to come back.
The question is, did it come back in sufficient numbers with sufficient turnout?
I just don't think we can rely on the same coalition this November as we did November four years ago.
I really don't.
I'd like to be proven wrong, trust me.
chris hayes
The other thing, so I'm torn on this too, because I'm thinking about, you know, sort of, I think we've extinguished 2020 from our memories in many ways, because it was traumatic.
But the other thing that I think is really important for the Biden campaign is a vision of the future.
And I do think that, like, to go back to what you're saying about following him on the trail, like, I could tell you the Biden 2020 platform.
It was to get COVID under control.
It was to then begin bringing the economy out of the depths through investment in the middle class and through an infrastructure investment and to rejoin Paris and invest in clean energy and to restore our relationships worldwide.
Yeah, that's what they did.
They said they were going to do it, and they did it.
I can't really tell you right now what the second term Biden vision looks like yet.
And I do think that's, I mean, when you talk about elections are about the future, right?
Americans are very future-oriented people.
That, to me, strikes me, particularly going into the State of the Union tomorrow, which is kind of unveiling.
I've been thinking about how important that is.
What do you think?
rachel maddow
Well, I think it makes the State of the Union really important, because I do think that it's always, in an election year, kind of the kickoff of the incumbent president's re-election campaign.
Hearing the positive vision rather than the, here's all the reasons you don't want the Republicans back in the White House again, I think that's what we're going to get.
And so we'll see.
But it has to be said that it has been a remarkable few years of Republican policy, and particularly with the Supreme Court, like reproductive rights.
Like, what's the Democratic agenda on reproductive rights?
To stop the Republicans from doing more of what they've been doing.
Like, can you articulate that in a positive way?
Maybe.
You can change your verb tenses.
But really, it's about trying to stop what the Republicans have done on reproductive rights, and what they're continuing to do, what the Republicans have done, and what they're continuing to do on democracy and the rule of law.
But I mean, there is a lot of stuff in terms of this very unusual Republican Party led by Donald Trump that the Democratic Party now exists to stop.
chris hayes
Yes.
And that's... A bulwark.
rachel maddow
Yeah, it's a bulwark to say we don't want to radically cashier who we are as a country to become a strongman authoritarian dictatorship.
unidentified
I gotta tell you, it's just not Nikki Haley, it's Glenn Youngkin also.
steve bannon
I mean, it's obvious now that certain people have a problem with President Trump, but you've got to get over the problem.
We need to unite this in the drive, in the drive through Labor Day all the way to November.
It's got to start now.
President Trump's already challenged, I want to make sure everybody understands, he's challenged Biden to debate like starting Monday.
Let's go.
Let's get a couple of mics.
Not a big deal.
Toss some questions out.
Or maybe it's just a cage match.
Maybe no questions.
unidentified
They just go at it and debate.
steve bannon
Game on right now.
This phony State of the Union tomorrow, another waste of time from the illegitimate Biden regime.
President Trump's on offense.
That's when he's best, on offense.
This is the primal scream of a dying regime.
Pray for our enemies.
unidentified
Because we're going medieval on these people.
steve bannon
I got a free shot on all these networks lying about the people.
chris hayes
The people have had a belly full of it.
steve bannon
I know you don't like hearing that.
I know you try to do everything in the world to stop that, but you're not going to stop it.
It's going to happen.
jake tapper
And where do people like that go to share the big lie?
unidentified
MAGA Media.
jake tapper
I wish in my soul, I wish that any of these people had a conscience.
unidentified
Ask yourself, what is my task and what is my purpose?
steve bannon
If that answer is to save my country, this country will be saved.
unidentified
War Room, here's your host, Stephen K. Babb.
steve bannon
Okay, Thursday, 7 March, year of our Lord, 2020.
You're in the War Room.
A lot to do today and a lot that broke overnight.
It's the phony State of the Union tonight with the illegitimate usurper who lost the election and then had people like Mark Elias and others steal it.
So, uh, we gotta sit through this thing again, but it's a good test because you see, and look, that's Carville and that's Hayes.
And look, I know you hate the sound of their voice, I got that, but they're two of the smartest guys they got.
And they're sitting there laying it out that they know they got a problem.
I mean, Carville said it last night, couldn't be more direct, that, uh, it looks grim for them if you look at the math.
Including part of the math no one's talking about is that 10% of Biden's voters quote-unquote remember their number is 81 million.
We don't believe that but At least, you know, they're saying up to 8 million people that voted for Biden will vote for Trump.
If you look at likely voters, it's even more impressive, right?
So tonight, and what order am I going to take this in?
I will take Junkin, hang on for a second, but I want to talk about Johnson.
Johnson and Junkin.
Well, first off, Junkin, we put a shot across his bowel yesterday.
Here's what we're tired of.
These guys that are, they act like, remember when sometimes little boys, 9, 10 years, 11 years old, you know, they don't want to do something.
And if you need them to do it, they're moping and dragging their heels and making a big deal about it.
That's what Junkin and some of these people, Juan Siscamani, all these guys.
Hey, here's the bottom line.
You're either on the train or you're off the train.
And if you're off the train, you're really going to be off the train.
Because the country's at stake right now.
We don't want to hear any of your vanity, any of your future politics, what your donors say.
We don't care about any of that.
Here's what we care about.
Shoulder to the wheel.
Full commitment.
All in.
Not half in.
So we had to put a shot across the bow, you know, I got very, uh, you know, ticked off by, by neocon Nikki, after spending all the time in the RNC and bossy and Ron and all that in all two years, uh, you know, nothing done all this money spent and it comes crashing down around them.
Like we said, it would, you know, and she gets up there with her four minutes and, uh, and you know, doesn't even endorse Trump.
She's going to be a big shot and him talk about her and maybe show a little leg.
She's got nothing.
labels and you know play around with that and every time her endorsement the Nikki Haley donors and Nikki Haley voters, she didn't have any voters, they're all Democrats or independents and lead Democrat. Numbers couldn't be clearer. She got nothing.
But if she decides not to not to endorse, who cares? I would have rejected the endorsement of Mitch McConnell.
Sundance, I think it's Sundance over at Conservative Treehouse, has a great analysis about what's going on here.
They're still trying to plot and wire the Senate against Trump.
They're trying to do, the institutionalists are trying to take a last stand against Trump and Trumpism and MAGA by hardwiring these institutions.
That's what this is all about.
So we did that in the 5 o'clock hour.
I think I did that in the B block, the first one.
So that was around 5.15 to 5.30.
unidentified
And then...
steve bannon
Just gave him another love tap.
Yonkin, another love tap.
Just to let him know we got the hairy eyeball on you.
We got the eyeball on you.
And, you know, we've been you're on the clock.
We've been noticing.
So at eight fifty five p.m.
last night, nine o'clock after I'm sure his political consultant, because everything they do is consultant driven, everything.
So after you check with his donors and after you check with David Rubinstein, who still is, you know, he's David Rubinstein's boy.
Right.
Rubinstein, who is a head Trump hater.
And of course resigned for everything.
He resigned from Kennedy Center because he knew we were going to fire him and run him out of town the very first moment that President Trump takes over.
One of the first actions of the 20th is to get rid of Rubinstein.
That's who Yunkin reports to.
8.55 p.m.
last night, Yunkin finally gives, and it's not a full-throated endorsement.
It's one of these Yunkin, oh, the country and what we're doing.
We don't care what you think about the country.
What we care about is you try to turn out your voters, which is about 20 percent.
MAGA is going to turn out Virginia.
We've got a chance to take the Commonwealth.
My beloved Commonwealth, as a native of Virginia, uh, which you are not, Yunkin, um, but you got to put your shoulder to the wheel.
You know, having to have the war room put a shot across your belt twice for not doing a, after Super Tuesday, and you do it the night after at nine o'clock at night, 8 55 PM Eastern Standard Time to be exact.
It doesn't, it doesn't cut it.
Doesn't hack it.
Not good.
We need to see a lot more effort.
You got to pick it up.
Juan Siscamani, another one, another beauty.
The Rhodes Scholar out there in Arizona.
I'm not saying he's the dumbest guy in Congress, but there might be a race for that, right?
He's got to prove to me it's a three-digit IQ.
He comes in with some mealy mouth.
I hope he's getting super primaried out there in Arizona.
We're not going to have these wishy-washy guys.
Note to Siscamani, your patron Kevin McCarthy got turfed out.
And you should come in full-throated.
Arizona is MAGA country.
Arizona is Trump country.
Arizona, we must win to win the Senate, and to win to keep the House, and to add to the House, and the presidency.
So Arizona is kind of important.
And we don't need like a nine-year-old boy, oh, in a mealy mouth, mealy mouth endorsement.
We need full-throated, I'm all in, I may not love President Trump, but I'm all in, 100% all in.
Not this kind of, you know, kicking the dirt.
No, mom and dad, do I have to?
I don't want to.
I don't wanna.
I don't wanna.
It's pretty pathetic.
And yes, we have our number two pencils out and we're putting notes in the black book.
We have long memories here.
We need to see effort.
We need to see actions.
We don't just need to put some tweet up and some mealy-mouth endorsement.
No.
unidentified
We need to see action, action, action.
steve bannon
We need to take Arizona, and we need to take the Commonwealth of Virginia, because we're going to run up the score here.
And Virginia's going to be one, and maybe even Minnesota, and hey, maybe New Mexico.
I got it, people saying, don't be greedy, Steve, just give me the 270.
You know, 270, absolute mandatory, must have.
Everything else is optionality, but hey.
Let's get a mandate while we're at it.
You're going to see tonight this effective thing.
So this is about Johnson.
Number one, I don't know why we did this.
You offered this after Super Tuesday.
Now, I realize there may be some thinking that it was going to be, oh, the Trump trial was going to start on the 4th.
Well, no offense, bro.
When you sent out the invitation, any sentient human being would have understood.
And maybe your staff, if you would check with somebody that understands legal, or maybe even the great Mike Davis.
That it was no chance the trial was going to start on the 4th.
So I don't understand why we're even here tonight after giving this guy a platform after Super Tuesday.
But hey, I'm not going to whine and moan.
It is what it is.
But...
Speaker Johnson, since you've been a complete frickin' disaster and everything else, here's what you got to man up to.
I don't want to see you popping up and down when Biden is sitting there telling lies.
Lie after lie after lie.
Remember, you're one of the guys that threw in with us to make sure that we could check and see if his electors and his wind, quote unquote, could even be certified, which it couldn't.
We knew it couldn't in places like, randomly, Georgia, Arizona.
Michigan.
Wisconsin.
Collectively, remember, it was only, I think, 30,000 votes, 42,000 votes that Biden really won the presidency by.
Arizona, Georgia, and I think Wisconsin.
Take those three.
Boom.
So, Johnson, you're unnoticed, and we've got the hairy eyeball on you tonight.
We don't want to see you popping up every time and doing standing ovations.
If there's something meaningful that really is for the country, That's your call.
But when he's talking about the invasion of our country, he's talking about, you know, what you're party to because, hey, you signed on to the McCarthy deal.
You had every chance to beat it.
You know, all this spending.
You're going to have the hairy eyeball on you.
You can't be bouncing up and down.
You can't be clapping.
You ought to be stony faced, stern.
You've got a biblical worldview.
Why don't you go Old Testament prophet on us tonight?
Can you do that?
Can you help us out here?
unidentified
Short break.
back in a moment.
War Room, here's your host, Stephen K. Babb.
steve bannon
Um, State of the Union.
So Johnson's on notice.
We're going to keep score here.
And look, if it's something that institutionally should be done, we have no, you know, although Biden's a usurper and I think should be Taken in that consideration, we can understand how, you know, for... It was a propriety, you have to do certain things, but all this popping up and down and, you know, McCarthy... No, we're not turning this thing on.
This is a fight to save our country.
And this is the biggest audience he's going to have tonight, and people ought to know in opposition where we stand.
Because this is not normal times.
Stolen elections have catastrophic consequences, and he has visited catastrophic consequences on this country.
It's time now to hold him to account.
It's game on.
President Trump, and, you know, we recommended it, but I knew it was in President Trump's heart, but he's coming on big, and I love the way the team around him is supporting this.
He's throwing down saying, hey, Biden, he's like Fresno State, anywhere, anytime, anyplace.
Boom, let's put a couple of mics up, money, let's go.
Nation needs to see, not simply, it's not about Biden's age, or how feeble he is, it's that he can't defend his destruction of the country.
And Donald Trump will be all up in his grill on offense.
Let me shift, and actually, you know what, I'm in a great mood today, I know it's coming across as, you know, what bee got in Bannon's bonnet?
It's not, I'm just, I'm really, really, really, Uh, not concerned, but just, I've had it with these Republican grifters who just draft off president.
Younkin, you're not even governor if it's not for a massive MAGA turnout.
Remember, we're the ones that did it, although we were not fans for the good of the team, for the good of the cause.
We held our peace and worked like crazy.
John Fredericks did an amazing job.
All those rallies, all that pushing in had a massive MAGA turnout.
Not so much in 22, excuse me, in 23 because we knew what you were trying to do.
We were trying to use that to springboard President Trump.
So MAGA did not turn out and guess what?
You did not take the House or the Senate.
Sorry about that.
Tough break for a swell guy.
But you need to be all in now, and it shouldn't take war room to put a couple of shots across your bow to wake your consultants up to then say, hey, this is going to get serious.
These guys are war room.
They're kind of rough trade.
And this is going to get real.
So at 855 at night, 855 p.m., you put out some mealy mouth tweet that you support President Trump.
And Siskimani, the same thing.
I hope people in Arizona are on point here.
We've got to stop playing games.
We've got to start playing games internally.
You saw it.
We broke McConnell.
Although a Sundance conservatory has got an amazing piece, not long, talks about what they're doing, how they're plotting and planning nonstop.
The heroes and patriots down in Texas saw this with Ken Paxson, stood up, sweeping victories, put Cornyn, John Cornyn on notice.
No way he's going to be leader because he's not going to be a senator again.
They're not going to pick a guy that's going to be a leader with no power.
It's going to be under tremendous pressure for it to be primary.
And I hope it's Ken Paxson.
If not, there'll be another MAGA hero down there to do it.
The bench down in Texas is great because why?
The grassroots are finally standing up.
This is what's happening all over the country.
This is a populist revolt.
Tim Miller has got a piece over in Bulwark about Ken Griffin and how Ken Griffin played all these kind of problem solution providers, you know, guys, and they all got smoked in the primaries by MAGA candidates.
We don't need Ken Griffin coming in with a bunch of goofballs that are going to be solutions providers.
There's no donor that's ever provided any solution.
None.
They all want, it's the same old thing, this is a bazaar and they just want their guys in there to make sure they get as much out of the bazaar as possible.
That's the way this place runs.
People know that.
And he's one of the biggest never Trump guys.
And Nikki Haley playing footsie.
At least DeSantis called her out.
He said, hey, the deal's a deal.
We agree we're going to do this.
But now just drag her in like a petulant nine-year-old.
I'm not interested.
Screw Nikki Haley.
We don't need her endorsement.
Oh, we've got to get the Nikki Haley voters.
They're all Democrats.
They're all going to vote for Biden anyway.
The exit polls show that.
We don't need her donors.
Donors aren't going to give Trump any money.
So let's not make it, let's not raise her profile by doing that.
OK, I want to cut to, I want to go to Rome.
I've got to tell a story.
We have started a academy for the Judeo-Christian West.
It's essentially a gladiator school for modern information age political warfare.
And we're going to do it in a monastery in Rome.
It's kind of the headquarters, but do it throughout the United States and Western Europe and other places.
Take people from Asia, take people from India.
and train people of how to win populist nationalist, you know, it's a populist nationalist academy.
You got a taste of it.
What we did the other day in the force multiplier is kind of a summary of some of the practical part of the schooling that we would do of how to teach you to be a force multiplier, how to teach you to go out in the world and be a combatant, how to teach you to go out in the world and be a both a gladiator and a legionnaire.
And we're going to do more of those.
I'll announce that.
We're going to go around the country and test these out.
And, you know, millions of dollars in defense.
Because they tried to shut us down.
They accused Ben Harnwell of all kind of crimes.
Totally and fully acquitted in Rome.
This was the deep state coming after the war room.
This is the deep state coming after the populist nationalist movement.
This is the deep state coming after us.
And I'm so honored.
Ben Harnwell had every opportunity to roll over, to cave, to cut some deal.
He would not.
He stood in the breach the entire time, facing big potential prison time, huge fines.
We hung together and said no.
Not only didn't do anything wrong, what we did is absolutely right and we're going to continue it.
Ben Harnwell, you join us.
Magnificent day.
And people don't know, Ben, the pressure.
You and Navarro are two.
People don't understand the pressure you guys have been in.
Potential prison time.
And this is the deep state coming after the populist nationalist movement and going after Ben Harnwell as a representative of that.
Your thoughts today on your full and total acquittal.
Now that Politico, the story's blowing up, particularly in Europe where they're not happy.
We want to let people know.
The academy is full-blown.
We're working on it.
We did a test with the force multiplier school the other day.
People loved it.
We're going to do a couple more tests here in the next couple of weeks, maybe out west somewhere.
We'll tell the audience that we want huge turnouts.
We're still talking to people in Europe.
I think we have some surprise announcements on that.
Ben Harnwell, great day of victory and your courage.
You were threatened with everything.
Bankruptcy, prison, all of it.
You never faltered.
You never caved.
You never cut a deal.
You said we were right.
It's 100% right and we're gonna do the Academy anyway.
So let's let's throw down your thoughts, sir, on a day of your full and total exoneration.
ben harnwell
Good morning, Steve.
And it's a real delight to be on the War Room today, not as a reporter, as a correspondent, but actually as a subject of the news itself.
Well, look, anyone who read newspapers a couple of years ago would have seen Steve Bannon's gladiator school in the Italian monastery in the press.
They saw that.
They might not have realized it was me, but they'd seen that your collaborators here, they'd been evicted from the monastery.
And the Department for Culture, the Italian Department for Culture, said that they hadn't paid the reins.
They were mismanaging the monastery, that they participated in the tender to win the lease of that monastery, fraudulently.
Well, a couple of hours ago here in the Central Criminal Court of Rome, Steve, yours truly was absolutely exonerated.
In fact, on the parts of the charges, the criminal charges, which the state prosecution itself had said just a few moments before the judge announced her verdict, that they actually wanted me to spend a one year in prison over this.
The parts of the criminal charges, Steve, that related to the supposed fraudulent statements made in the tender, the prosecution itself asked for the judge to absolve me of those.
So it was absolutely clear to everyone that the left, the political left and the media together, had presented a very one-sided account of the facts.
And after four years of legal hearings, periodically every few months, we finally got to the end of it today.
And the judge said, there's no case to answer here.
No crimes have been committed.
Hanra hasn't done any wrong.
I got the highest form of absolution it's possibly to get in the Italian judicial system.
I mean, I'm actually, I have no cloud hanging over me once again.
And the message I want to say here to the, not only to the war in Posse, but To great heroes of the MAGA movement who have their own charges hanging over their heads.
Fight, fight, fight, fight, fight.
Never give up.
And trust to some extent that finally you will be vindicated and justice will come down, because it can happen.
And the message I'm giving out here to journalists who've been phoning me non-stop over the last couple of hours is that so much of what people are reading in the newspapers today about MAGA, about its It's key members having participated fraudulently in one thing or another.
There is always another side to this story, and what people are hearing is a very one-sided curated version of the facts, right?
The important thing is that when justice in its own time gets to hear all these things, a proper justice process, Steve, not a partisan judicial hit job, but when the facts are heard in these things, We are exonerated because we are on the right side, Steve.
We are on the side of the angels.
We're good people.
We follow the law and just ever so occasionally these things come out.
So it's a great story today, Steve, for all of us.
steve bannon
Ben, hang on.
I'm going to hold you through the break because I want to continue this.
I only have a few minutes after the break.
We're going on with the school.
In fact, we've been working non-stop behind the scenes.
We did a test with the force multiplier.
The force multiplier will be one part of it as we teach people to be information age gladiators or information age legionnaires as we take on the deep state.
And the corrupt global elites throughout the world.
Italy being one of the worst places.
Italy's got such a great populist movement.
They're such a great nationalist movement.
So many great people.
Obviously one of the bedrocks of our culture and our civilization.
But it's got a totally corrupt, deep state that's in business with Davos, in business with Brussels.
And they took on Bannon, the war room, our academy.
And our representative, our international editor, Ben Harnwell, threatened him with prison, threatened him with bankruptcy.
It took resources, it took time.
But here's the thing, if you're unflinching, and this is what President Trump, this is the lesson of Trump, never back down, never apologize, always be on offense.
The Academy's coming.
It's going to be bigger than ever, and we're going to train a rising generation to be warriors, to take down the deep state in Europe, and to assist us here in the good old United States of America.
Short break.
unidentified
Back in the warm in just a moment.

steve bannon

Gold is $22,158.

Well, Bitcoin hasn't proven itself yet, but 5,000 years plus, I guess we're in the Hebrew year of 5700, so we'll say 5,000 plus shares your gold's been a hedge against times of turbulence, at least financially.

Ben, Harnwell, I can't tell you, and here's the thing, Navarro and Harnwell and others, you know, Trump, myself, other people, Rudy, we're a little bit built for this fight, right?
Built for, you know, they're gonna throw you in jail, they're gonna do this, it's, hey, come on.
There are other people that just live, have been raised differently, live differently, have different, that's fine.
They're the biggest heroes.
The Harnwells and Navarros, because they come and threaten him with prison.
You think an Italian prison is a nice thing?
No, it's not.
And they threaten him with prison.
He had every opportunity to compromise.
He had every opportunity to fold.
He had every opportunity to come to me and say, Steve, I can't do this anymore.
Never.
It was always, we're going to fight this to the bitter end, because number one, we're on the side of the angels on this.
We are righteous in this.
This academy is going to get built.
It is going to get done.
We are a rising movement globally.
They know that, and they're going to do everything in their power to try to stop it.
And the only thing that's going to defeat this is spirit and willpower.
Spirit and willpower.
And that's what Ben Harnwell has shown the last couple of years.
I couldn't be prouder of you, Ben.
Where do people go?
Ben, I know the media is blowing up your front, because for the Guardian, these people, they, man, they ripped on us and dumped on us, and I, we didn't really go back and take a, just like the other cases here.
You notice you don't hear me talk a lot about the cases.
It'll all be played out in court, and we'll have our day to talk about that.
But baby, when we win, we're going to spike the football.
Ben Harnwell, where do people go today?
And I want to make sure you're putting up all the media on Getter, so where do people go to get you?
ben harnwell
Steve, thanks so much.
It's simply my surname, at Hanwell on Geta, my social platform of choice.
I'll just close with this observation.
You and I, Steve, we've been planning this Academy for the Judeo-Christian West for more than 10 years now.
I'll tell you one thing, folks.
We Bannonites, we do not know the hedgehog position when it comes to a fight.
We do not know how to curl up into a little ball and take the blows.
We fight, we fight, we fight.
And if they knock us to the ground, we get up And we keep on fighting.
And guess what, folks?
We win.
This is a great result.
I carry it up.
As you said, we haven't discussed it at all on this show.
I've been on this show for three years now.
We've never once discussed Tresulte or the Academy, simply because it wasn't part of the job description.
Now that the victors come along, we're talking about it.
We're not going to stop talking about it.
And War Room, possibly, this is the message.
The Academy for the Judeo-Christian West, go ahead, and the communists will never close it down.
Thank you, Steve.
God bless.
steve bannon
Hang on.
The reason we are having an Academy of the Judeo-Christian West is our civilization is about resilience.
Our civilization is being able to take a punch, fall back, regroup, and then drive forward.
This is why in all the great civilizations and man's on this planet, the greatest civilization That has been Western Civilization.
Full stop.
Sorry if you don't like hearing that.
The multicultural crowd.
The greatest civilization mankind has ever known that's been built up is the Judeo-Christian West.
of Athens, Jerusalem, and Rome, and now the United States.
And this is why we're a providential country, and I don't say, oh my God, this is all Christian nationalism, this is where these guys are going.
You're damn right it's where we're going.
And we're not going to be defeated, and we're not going to be stopped, because that's the tenets of our culture and our civilization.
And we don't care the lawfare you put up and the threats you put up.
You people are evil and demonic and we know that.
And we're coming.
And we're not going to be defeated.
Ever.
Hey, we're not going to win every fight.
We're not going to win every battle.
There's going to be some days it looks pretty cloudy.
But that's what our civilization tells us.
That's why you have to understand the underpinnings of it.
This is why you have to understand the history of it.
This is why we're doing the academy.
If you saw the force multiplier, that was just one small slice of what we're trying to do.
The enthusiasm, the power.
That's what caused the great Trump backing on Tuesday night.
This is why, you know, what the Lord said, if you're wishy-washy, I'll spit you out of my mouth.
This is the problem with Junkin.
Grow a set.
Dude, you weakling, you pencil neck, take the vest off and grow a set and stand up like a man and get in the breach and fight for your country.
Same with Siskimani.
Don't give me some mealy mouth.
I don't want to see some mealy mouth endorsement.
I want to see you in the breach fighting every day.
Ben Harnwell, honored to have you on here, brother.
Fantastic.
unidentified
Thank you, Steve.
ben harnwell
God bless.
steve bannon
We're gonna have some announcements about the Academy that are gonna make their head blow up specifically the Guardian So get ready, baby.
It's only gonna come now hot and heavy Okay, I actually have a very important meeting that we have the people have scheduled it We're gonna they have to do it during the war room.
You'll be understanding later We're gonna turn over the rest of our coverage to my co-host our executive editor Natalie Winters, one of the great examples of what the Academy hopes to turn out.
I realize you went to Harvard, Westlake, and Chicago, but you've been fighting with us for years, and you're one of our greatest examples of how you can be feminine and gracious and graceful and tough as boot leather.
So I'm going to turn it over to you.
In our Palm Beach Real America Voice studio, Natalie Winters, the show is yours.
I'll be back this afternoon.
We'll have updates on this meeting I'm going to go to.
It's going to be quite... I think you'll be quite interested in it.
Natalie Winters, the show's yours, baby.
natalie winters
I have to say one thing real quick, Steve.
When I was applying to college coming from Harvard-Westlake, I had wanted to go to your gladiator school, but I don't think it was up and running yet because they were using lawfare.
I think that's something we've gotten quite used to against President Donald J. Trump, but I'm glad it's up and running and I hope we can create many more people.
I know you've been so empowering in my life and creating this wonderful career.
It's great to be back in the West Palm Beach RAV studio, but I am happy to be here.
Taking over, trying to fill in for Stephen K. Bannon.
We got Dave Brat, I believe, joining us to give us a little pregame, I think, ahead of this State of the Union.
We'll get into more of that.
I don't even know if we really have a union.
I think we should be doing maybe a State of the Border address.
It's pretty dismal.
But Dave Brat, can you sort of walk us through where we stand economically?
I'm sure we'll get a lot of lies from Joe Biden tonight or whoever is writing his speech, but what are the actual facts?
dave brat
Yeah, I was watching the MSNBC crowd the other day, the mainstream media crowd, talking about the lies coming from conservatives on the economy.
And so I do want to add a little factual basis.
I think they don't know what they're talking about when they talk about the economy, right?
The stock market is up.
They say the economy is great.
That's because we have a $2.5 trillion deficit right now.
We're deficit finance, right?
Thank you to the Federal Reserve as well for this.
And then if you throw in a Keynesian multiplier of two, which is just kind of standard macroeconomics, you get $5 trillion in government spending.
What's that mean?
Well, you go out and you go into debt to the kids, you take two and a half trillion, you shove it into government spending, and then you hire a ton of government workers and you call that economic growth.
That is not the economy.
So there's a short corrective for the leftists out there on mainstream media.
Do not confuse the stock market performance, which is inflated, and all signs are it's going to have its fall, but the timing is tough there.
But the more problematic thing, you know, you and I have both, you've talked about the strains on the young people.
And then this week, another piece came out about the retirement crisis becoming a reality from insider business.
And I'll post all this stuff on Brat Economics.
But sometimes, you know, I talk about productivity.
It's been down for 50 years in a row.
We shipped all our jobs off to China as Navarro and Bannon show constantly.
So then we had service sector jobs left.
But then we designed, as you just said, a border invasion of 10 million new folks to compete with the service wages.
And so, of course, that drives everybody's wages down.
And then you throw in the tech revolution, the magnificent seven, and artificial intelligence, and you replace the workers. And so today I just have a few charts I want to share with on where this leaves the seniors, right? The seniors have been left in just awful shape. And as Steve would say and as you know full well.
Well, the American people have had a belly full, right?
They're learning.
And this is not just to the U.S.
This productivity issue and the effect on populists and seniors and young people is global, right?
The populist movement is taking over, and that's why the left is having heart palpitations.
And so I don't know if we have enough time to go into the charts, Natalie, but if you want to weigh in also on the effect of the economy on the young people.
natalie winters
We can go to the charts.
We got a few minutes, but I'll hold you through the break too.
dave brat
Okay, good.
Denver, let's go see chart one.
And this is pretty scary stuff, right?
How much income do our seniors have as they go into retirement, right?
So, you know, our seniors grew up in a day where there were pensions and it was just assumed that with Social Security and your savings and a pension fund, you'd be fine.
It turns out they're not fine.
Our senior citizens, 65 and older, if you look at those numbers, about 10% of them have about $5,000 in income.
23% have about $15,000 to live on per year.
17% have about $25,000, right?
I'm just picking the midpoints.
So if you add all those up, 50% of our American seniors, 65 and older, are living on $30,000 or less.
Right.
And this is due to the managed decline of the United States economy.
And so there are no simple solutions left.
The one solution is do not leave your job early.
As I said, the most important stat I left out was CBO has us growing at one and a half percent for the next two decades.
So I'd love to have the mainstream media explain to me how that's a good economy.
We're leaving in place terrible fundamentals, a terrible underlying economy.
Go out to CBO, the Congressional Budget Office.
It's not rightwing.com, mainstream media.
These are the government's own figures.
We're going to grow at 1.5% for the next two decades.
Check it out.
Second chart is even more problematic.
On this chart, Uh, if you look at, uh, you know, we just got done saying many people hoping to get, uh, you know, to out of work and to have a retirement.
Uh, how many of our seniors have retirement accounts?
Uh, this thing is just stunning.
The folks at the bottom gray line on that chart, folks, 75 and older, only 45%.
have a 40% have retirement accounts.
60% don't have any retirement account, right?
So nothing's socked away, right?
They're totally relying on Social Security.
And Social Security, you know, about 10% of our seniors are in poverty and without Social Security, 40% of our seniors would be in poverty.
And this chart is showing you why.
natalie winters
And Dave, I got to cut you off.
I want to hold you through because I want to keep going through these charts so we can continue to make the case why we should not send billions of dollars Yes.
Ukraine the only place we should be spending the day is on the southern border. We'll get into all of that We also have Michelle Bacchus who is live on Capitol Hill I think we'll be pulling maybe congressman Ralph Norman some of his other colleagues Of course only the good ones to be going through what we can look forward to or I guess maybe I guess fear and Joe Biden State of the Union we'll be right back Here's your host Stephen K
Welcome back to The War Room.
It's Natalie G. Winters filling in for the one and only Stephen K. Bannon.
He has a very important meeting I think you guys will probably be hearing about soon.
But as always, there's of course a ton of news breaking on Capitol Hill.
We got, of course, Joe Biden's State of the Union tonight.
Who knows who actually wrote the speech, who knows if he'll be able to make it through.
And while it's easy to bash him and the fact that he has turned this country into really something short of a A union, I think we need to focus on congressional Republicans who have allowed, enabled, entitled, and frankly funded, to the tune of billions of dollars, his horrible country-destroying agenda.
But hey, I think we know the term Republican doesn't mean much if people like Ken Griffin and all these mega donors that Steve was talking about before identify as belonging to the same party as us, because I don't know about you, I want nothing to do with the Republican Party that Ken Griffin is donating to, that Mitt Romney's a part of, that John McCain was a part of.
I like the Trump version of the Republican Party.
I think we have Michelle Bacchus, if I'm correct, with Congressman Ralph Norman.
Of course, a good fighter, a good friend of the show.
I'm just curious.
I know you've come on our show a lot to talk about, I believe, in the kind of peak debt ceiling debates, obviously going into Joe Biden's State of the Union.
Where do you think House Republicans have performed?
How have they fallen short?
And have you guys not essentially given carte blanche to Joe Biden when he stands up there and touts all these policy accomplishments?
know, what is that, what is the House majority done to really push back?
All right, maybe we will come back to Congressman Norman because I don't see him in the shot.
Dave Brat, I will come to you.
Hey, it's not the war room if there's not a technical glitch.
I don't get to yell at Denver, I get to yell at Palm Beach and they're not that far from me, but it's all good.
Dave Brat, if you can hear me.
I guess I could ask you that.
I could ask you that question too, but I saw a very interesting poll.
You know, I focus a lot on the Chinese Communist Party, but this year, fewer Americans than ever, it was a drop in 13 percentage points, it now stands at about 51%, of Americans consider China's economic power to be a critical threat.
I was just curious, your analysis on this shift, I think it sort of dovetails with what you were talking about.
dave brat
Yeah, no, it's just amazing, right?
The ruling class, the globalists, the Ukrainian advocates, etc.
The crushing of the seniors.
We've sent our jobs to China.
And then the great accomplishment, and all political views are always just my own on the show, but the Republicans are touting a win that we're not selling oil from the Strategic Reserve to China.
That's a win.
We're at cyber war.
They're pinging us.
Ray at the FBI has admitted there's more red lights blinking every day on cyber attacks by China.
You all know the warfare book the Chinese colonels put out 30 years ago.
They're at war against us.
The American people now are catching on.
They're reading about the full Russia story.
The U.S.
did a coup d'etat in 2014, so our hands aren't clean and we're not all pro-democracy.
We want power over there.
And China's behind that.
China's behind Iran.
China's probably in back of the Arab shipping disaster in the Red Sea.
And the American people are catching on because of great media stories that you've been putting out on China for a decade.
Well, I'm exaggerating.
You're too young.
But yeah, a bunch of years.
natalie winters
Don't age me that much.
Yeah, that wouldn't have been legal.
Rab would get fined for child labor.
No, that's right.
dave brat
No, it's just and one more stat just for the war room.
I mean, it's quite staggering.
The United States government share is bigger Our government is bigger, both in percentage terms and in real terms, than China.
China is a communist totalitarian surveillance state.
Their government sector is 14% of their economy.
Ours is 18%.
And this is why the left is going into histrionics right now, right?
They're very worried that another party might actually get to run 18% of our economy, with all that goes with it.
And Mike Benz, right?
Boy, he laid it out.
You and he have been Hitting the target on that one.
He laid out what's at stake in this election and it's huge.
natalie winters
Dave Brat, if people want to follow you, stay up to date with all your analysis, where can they go to do all that?
dave brat
Yep.
Thank you very much, Natalie.
Yep.
Brat Economics on Getter, and there's an email account down there.
I'm going to be going to Florida.
I'm going to be going down to Vero Beach in a month.
We're going to be going to Dallas.
I've been to Atlanta.
We're going to go up to Michigan, Illinois, Mississippi.
So if you want to host a meeting with a hundred folks, a couple hundred folks that love God, country, family, and hopefully Liberty University, Check me out there.
We're hanging tough.
A lot of universities are getting weak-kneed, but we're gladiators over here and we're proud to be in the Judeo-Christian tradition.
Thanks, Natalie.
natalie winters
Dave Brat was kind enough to invite me to lecture some Liberty students not too long ago on Chinese Communist Party infiltration, and I'm sure those students are not part of the 51% of Americans who don't view CCP economic hegemony as a threat.
Dave, thank you so much for joining us.
dave brat
You bet.
Thanks, Natalie.
natalie winters
It's a perfect segue too for those of you who are also in Florida.
I'll be speaking at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach on March 14th.
You can go to my Twitter, Natalie G. Winters, to see the link to get a ticket.
It's a lunch.
It'll be fun.
It's nice to be back.
In Florida, you can also in the meantime, of course, talking about cybersecurity and the Chinese Communist Party.
One of their, like to say, you know, workers, let's call them what they are, their spies, their invaders, their sleeper cells, was just arrested for stealing, I believe, AI, kind of intellectual property from an American company, I guess that's...
It happens when you invite Chinese Communist Party members to invade your country, whether through the poor southern border or through legal immigration pathways like the EB-5 visa scam.
But if you want to protect your home against all of these cyber security, these criminals, these crooks, you can go to hometitlelock.com slash Bannon.
And while you're at it, maybe while you're figuring out how to protect your home against someone being able to take out I don't really own a home, so I don't really even know the correct terminology, but you can go to warpath.coffee so you can be alert and awake so you can see if anyone's trying to take out a second, what is it, second mortgage on your home?
I guess I got to get better at that read.
But you can go to hometitlelock.com slash Bannon.
In my defense, Mike Lindell told me himself.
He will be joining us later in the show.
that when I'm on, we do sell more pillows. So hey, I'm just saying. Um, we're going to have Michelle back is continuing to join us. Hopefully she can actually hear me this time. We've got a bunch of members of Congress. We also have Colonel John Mills, who's going to walk us through not just what's going on in Yemen with the Houthis in the Red Sea, but some interesting comments coming from Wang Yi, China's basically foreign minister, um, talking about how, sorry guys, but you're, you're American. You need to just be okay with a multipolar world order where the Chinese Communist
This party is the top dog.
And Americans really assert, I think, their Biden-led role of being second fiddle to the Chinese Communist Party.
I guess that's what happens when your son takes millions of dollars from them in exchange for basically unfettered and unchecked political influence.
So thanks Hunter Biden.
