| One week ago, a beautiful 22-year-old nursing student from Georgia Was barbarically attacked, almost unrecognizable while she was out on her morning run. | ||

| Best nursing student there was. | ||
| I spoke to her parents yesterday. | ||
| They're incredible people. | ||

| But she was beautiful, just so beautiful in so many ways and brutally assaulted, horrifically beaten. | ||
| Kidnapped and savagely murdered. | ||
| The monster that's charged in the death is an illegal alien migrant who was led into our country and released into our communities by crooked Joe Biden. | ||

Yeah, so remarks from President Trump and Texas Governor Greg Abbott just wrapped up. | |
| He didn't take many questions. | ||
| However, he did answer my question regarding Laken Riley in his speech as to why Joe Biden will not say her name. | ||
| It's because Joe Biden has blood on his hands. | ||
| He has Laken Riley's blood on his hands. | ||
| Governor Abbott talked about how After Title 42 went away, Brownsville, Texas, where Joe Biden is visiting today, was a total invasion zone. | ||
| Thousands of migrants were flooding through the area. | ||
| And since implementing the National Guard and the razor wire, they've gotten border apprehensions down to just a handful. | ||
| And the same thing goes for right here in Eagle Pass. | ||
| Same situation. | ||
| President Trump was very impressed with the job that Texas has done to secure the border and step in for where Joe Biden has refused to do so. | ||
| And it's a military operation down here. | ||
| President Trump said it best. | ||
| It's a full-blown military operation going on in Texas to keep our border safe and secure. | ||
| Jane, did either Governor Abbott or the President talk about this federal ... Right when it happened today, first thing that happened this morning, this federal judge came out and really suspended all the operations that the state of Texas has now passed to actually deputize and empower their law enforcement and others, even their National Guard, I think, to start arresting illegal aliens and send them back across the Rio Grande. | ||

| What do you think about the optics of a guy that's impeached for not enforcing the law, and quite frankly, the student in In Atlanta would've never been murdered if it hadn't been for Mayorkas, you know, being part of the Biden crime family, not enforcing the law. | ||

| This is getting to be a hot-button issue with all the migrant crime that's going down or the illegal alien crime that's going down. | ||

| So talk to me about Trump at the border, his pitch versus Biden's pitch. | ||

Well, so I wrote those numbers down because those were just so jarring to see that. | |
| But you see that there were 33,000 assaults. | ||
| There were 4,300 sex crimes and then 1,700 murders by illegal immigrants. | ||
| and then 1,700 murders by illegal immigrants. | ||
| And that's just shocking. | ||
| As an emergency physician, all of these get dumped in my emergency department. | ||
| So these Biden policy failures, when you talk crime, some of the homelessness issues, sex trafficking, and then the opiate crisis and the drugs, all of those get dumped in your local emergency department. | ||
| So I've practiced medicine for 20 years and you can see a night and day difference in the policies of Trump versus Biden. | ||
| Man, we have to have Trump back in office. | ||
| We're not going to survive four more years of Biden. | ||
| Talk to me, when you're back with your constituents or potential constituents, when you're out on the hustings, what's the feedback you get from the folks down in North Carolina 13? | ||

So these border security issues and the drug crisis is the number one issue here in North Carolina. | |
| Every state is a border state. | ||
| These drugs don't stop in Texas. | ||
| We just lost a child here, an 18 year old. | ||
| Uh, here in Wake Forest, North Carolina, just about a week and a half ago, uh, I talked with, uh, with a family friend of theirs and it was, uh, a horrific story. | ||
| And as you can imagine, it's a parent's worst nightmare. | ||
| And as a doctor that works on these kids in the emergency department, I have to talk with parents when that happens. | ||
| And you run these codes on these children with these opiate overdoses. | ||
| The fentanyl is just so deadly and so scary. | ||
| That unfortunately you're not successful sometimes and you have to look at those parents in the eyes and you have to tell them I'm sorry your son or daughter have died. | ||
| So those are very jarring stories that just every parent's worst nightmare. | ||
| That's what people worry about every day with their children here right in North Carolina. | ||
| What do you think about Daily Mail's reporting that in memos that Biden officials are working on, they don't call them migrants, they don't call them illegal alien invaders, they don't call them, you know, gotaways, they call them newcomers. | ||
| Their term of art was newcomers. | ||
| How do you think that'll set with folks down in North Carolina 13 calling the migrants illegal aliens, whatever you want to, however you want to call them, that they would just be officially termed newcomers? | ||

| And what you're seeing with some of the candidates here is there's been so much mudslinging, so much craziness that for us, you know, as a true conservative fighter, as someone who's really focused on fighting for North Carolina values as an emergency doctor and military commander, You know, a combat veteran, I think our positive message is going to carry the day. | ||

What lessons have we learned since November 2020? | |
| Joining us now, former U.S. | ||
| Attorney and MSNBC legal analyst Barbara McQuaid, who wrote a book about it, Attack from Within, how disinformation is sabotaging America and is out now, go buy it. | ||
| Barbara, good to have you. | ||
| The book is, I would say, bleak. | ||
| It's scary for this moment that we're in. | ||
| When you're looking at Where we were and what happened in 2020 that led to 2021 on January 6th. | ||
| What lessons have we learned? | ||
| Have we learned any of those lessons? | ||
| I think we have, Katie. | ||
| And although it certainly has parts that are bleak, I also think that it's mostly a hopeful book and a book that will encourage people to demand truth out of a sense of patriotism. | ||
| And so as we prepare for the 2024 election, I think we can expect that we will be bombarded with disinformation that this time around we may even see. | ||
| That is, you know, videos and robocalls that sound like people in positions of authority who are telling us to stay home and not to vote. | ||
| But I think that because we know what to expect, we can have good messaging ready to go about this. | ||
| So, for example, I know secretaries of state around the country are putting together materials to provide information to voters about what the truth is so that there are not concerns and confusion about how they vote. | ||
| Also looking to enlist credible voices to help people to understand what they need to do to vote and to get registered to vote. | ||
| And so I think those things are all really important to not just debunking the false information that's coming, but maybe pre-bunking it so that they can get ahead of the curve. | ||
| Some of the individuals who have committed the crimes, pled guilty, are already out from serving their sentences from the actions that they committed that day. | ||
| And now we are still debating whether the president is immune from his actions that day, three years later. | ||
| That's a problem. | ||
| What's interesting, having covered Trump for as many years now as I have, is the defense always moves, right? | ||
| It goes from, I didn't do it, to what the Supreme Court is going to hear. | ||
| Isn't Trump arguing he didn't do it? | ||
| Is Trump arguing when you're president they let you? | ||
| He's literally arguing. | ||
| The same thing he said to Billy Bush, you know, when you're famous, they let you do it, about grabbing women between the legs. | ||
| He's going to argue that when you're president, you're immune from criminal accountability for anything you do while president. | ||
| I mean, there's a word for that. | ||
| It's a king. | ||
| It's a dictator. | ||
| It's all out in the open. | ||
| And the very signal we send around the world that we're going to hear it, we're going to hear about it, we're going to take our notes, we're going to have our clerks, you know, write us briefs, and then we'll have a decision. | ||
| To me, sends the signal around the world that we've already changed. | ||

So when I say bleak, what I mean is you're starting off by talking about January 6th. | |
| You're starting off by talking about the people who died on January 6th, what drove them to be there, this disinformation campaign. | ||
| And then that disinformation that still exists in our ecosystem, that still is pulling us apart and sending us down rabbit holes and making us distrust what we're seeing with our own eyes in favor of what makes us feel better, what confirms our own biases. | ||
| It can feel overwhelming when you take all of that in. | ||
| I guess what you're trying to do here is you're saying, here's everything that's out there. | ||
| You have to understand the landscape in order to navigate within it. | ||
| Is that the lesson? | ||
| Yes. | ||
| In fact, what I'm hoping is that by revealing some of these tactics that are used by people who propagate disinformation, we can learn them, dispel them, and avoid being attacked by them. | ||
| And so, you know, for example, we know that there will be people who repeat false claims about the stolen election in 2020. | ||
| Just this weekend at the CPAC conference, Steve Bannon was leading a chant in Trump won, Trump won, Trump won. | ||
| If we can provide people with the actual data and information that that's not true, then perhaps we can avoid having a repetition of that in the future. | ||
| I think if we reveal to people the way they use a technique referred to as the either or fallacy, that is this idea That there are only two sides to every issue and then to demonize the other side and say, you know, they are such an untenable choice that you will conclude that the only choice is the other side. | ||
| And in fact, of course, Katie, the world is far more nuanced than that and there are shades of gray. | ||
| And so if we can detect when people are using these tactics against us, then perhaps we can build some resilience so that we will all be less likely to fall prey. | ||
| Okay, resilience this. | ||
| Trump won. | ||
| You guys stole it. | ||
| The only way Trump is not getting back to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue if we allow them to steal it again. | ||
| And I'm not so sure the Trump campaign is on top in this regard. | ||
| President Trump's doing everything else. | ||
| He's got enough on his shoulders. | ||
| You saw yesterday, they wouldn't take the $100 million. | ||
| They want, you know, $435 million up front. | ||
| They're taking his company. | ||
| They're bankrupting him. | ||
| Although, the lawfare is collapsing around us. | ||
| Thefani Willis, you know, she'll be criminally charged. | ||
| Jack Smith, and I can tell you, two-thirds of their broadcasting today is not Biden on the board. | ||
| They don't want to talk about that. | ||
| It's not even, they don't do a lot of coverage on this defeat we had today. | ||
| Another CR, I'll get to that in a second. | ||
| It's all about, they're in shock and the moaning and the bitching and the whining about the immunity. | ||
| Jack Smith, they had to get, they had to get in front of a DC jury, they had to get Chunkin, a radical judge, they had to get him there, find him guilty, because that's what's going to save him. | ||
| You're not going to be saved. | ||
| We are coming back. | ||
| We're taking over the White House. | ||
| We're throwing out the usurper. | ||
| Like I said, we're going to take it out like we take out trash. | ||
| We're increasing our majority in the House, and we're going to take the Senate. | ||
| And we've got the courts. | ||
| They had an article the other day, oh, there's so many of these people that are so worried now, they see the math, and by the way, did you see the morning consult poll of Bloomberg? | ||
| He's up everywhere. | ||
| Focus on that. | ||
| I want you to focus on that. | ||
| They're getting so worried. | ||
| Many of them are thinking, gosh, these people are going to be so bad. | ||
| They're so evil. | ||
| They're so dictatorial. | ||
| They're such fascists that we're going to have to leave the country. | ||
| Hey, you're free men and free women. | ||
| If that's the choice, don't let the door hit you on the ass on the way out. | ||
| Leave. | ||
| If you don't like it, maybe there's greener pastures, there's sunlit uplands for you, other places. | ||
| Hey, it's a free country. | ||
| You're free men and women. | ||
| But the only way they've got one thing left, they've seen the polls, they know they've put this, of course they're hoping for what, Deus Ex Machina, that Michelle Obama somehow magically drops in and they can replace Kamala and Joe Biden, particularly after his performance today on the border. | ||
| If you think that performance on the border, if you think not saying the young woman's name, If you think not talking about crime, if you think calling them newcomers, newcomers, illegal alien invaders is going to win, you are sadly mistaken. | ||
| Because those Trump, um, the polls for morning consult are low. | ||
| And here's the reason. | ||
| There's still people, believe it or not, that feel uncomfortable telling people that they will vote for Trump. | ||
| Those numbers mean a blowout. | ||
| A blowout means we're ascendant and we're in total control. | ||
| You're going to have to live in that world. | ||
| So, they have two things they're going to do. | ||
| Number one is to steal it again, and this is why they're coming out with misinformation, disinformation, misinformation, disinformation. | ||

| The RNC's got to take this burden up now of actually securing the elections. | ||

| But then he won with 74 million votes in 2020 and we won and he didn't close and he knows on a deal. | ||
