This is the primal scream of a dying regime.
Pray for our enemies.
unidentified
Because we're going medieval on this, people.
steve bannon
You're not going to free shot all these networks lying about the people.
The people have had a belly full of it.
I know you don't like hearing that.
I know you try to do everything in the world to stop that, but you're not going to stop it.
It's going to happen.
jake tapper
And where do people like that go to share the big line?
unidentified
MAGA Media.
jake tapper
I wish in my soul, I wish that any of these people had a conscience.
unidentified
Ask yourself, what is my task and what is my purpose?
If that answer is to save my country, this country will be saved!
steve bannon
It's Monday, 1 January, the year of our Lord.
2024, the kickoff of the year.
Rahim, what should people look for?
I want to push this article out to everybody.
I mean, we have a massive election that's going to take place in a couple of weeks in Taiwan.
The CCP has already said, hey, we're going to reunify Taiwan.
We don't care what the election is.
They're already throwing out vitriol at the Democratic Progressive Party, the anti-CCP party, that they're already trying to rig the election.
So every one of these is going to be nasty as the forces of liberty and freedom fight the established order, or in some cases, the tyranny of people like the Chinese Communist Party.
So as people look at this, what's the two or three things they should look for the most and kind of the process of this?
Because it's going to go from one big election to another big election, culminating in the Mac Daddy in November of 2024 with President Trump's return to victory.
raheem kassam
Yeah, well what I would say for the audience first and foremost is stay focused.
There's going to be so much and as a result of that there's going to be a lot of bread and circuses, there's going to be a lot of attempts to distract, there's going to be a lot of silly things that they try and throw up as a kind of a fog of war thing.
to take you off the target.
So one of the things you absolutely have to do is stay focused.
This is not a year, unfortunately for me, especially somebody who likes a party, this is not a year for that.
This is a year for focus and precision.
It's a year for detail.
steve bannon
Hold on, hold on.
unidentified
Hang on.
steve bannon
Are we breaking news here?
You've already done I think a dry November and December, you've rolled it into your traditional dry January.
Am I hearing, are we breaking news here in War Room on our very first show, the first day of the year, that Rahim may extend that?
raheem kassam
I'll tell you what.
I'll tell you what.
I'll do the audience a deal, and I'll be very honest about it.
I am far more productive when I'm not drinking, but it is something that's in the culture, it is something that's in the genes, but I'll do the audience a deal.
If we start getting enough members joining at thenationalpulse.com forward slash war room, if I see that people are supporting that endeavor to keep Raheem sober and keep Raheem on track all year, then I will stay off it.
steve bannon
I like that.
raheem kassam
The second we start dropping that, I'm right back on the wagon, okay?
steve bannon
Right back in the bottom.
unidentified
I'm throwing the responsibility out of the audience.
steve bannon
No, that's a challenge.
That's a challenge for 2024.
Where do people go for that?
raheem kassam
Yeah, so TheNationalPulse.com forward slash War Room and given that it's the first of the year I'll also do this.
Anybody who joins today at TheNationalPulse.com forward slash War Room will enter you into a prize drawing like we did last year as well to win some signed copies of No Go Zones or Enoch Was Right, whatever the new members want.
It's TheNationalPulse.com forward slash War Room And I'll also say this, given sheer volume of how much is going on this year, you're going to need an apparatus.
You're going to need a trustworthy network to bring you reliable news from that perspective.
So in addition to your warroom.org viewership, we hope you'll join us at thenationalpulse.com every single day, every single morning, every single evening.

steve bannon
Rahim, thanks, and thanks for kicking off the year with us.
Peace is magnificent.
unidentified
Thank you.
raheem kassam
Happy New Year.
steve bannon
I'm sure everybody reads it and puts it into their diary.
Happy New Year, brother.
Thank you.
Rahim Kassam.
The Rahim Kassam.
Brett, your thoughts about all this.
This month is going to be insane.
You've got impeachment hearings, Fauci hearings, a New Hampshire, Iowa, Taiwan elections, all the fights of President Trump in the Manhattan courtrooms, the stripping of everything.
And also all the fights on immunity, 14th Amendment, all of it, sir.
So January starts off with a bang like we haven't seen before.
Your thoughts, Brother Bratt?
dave brat
Yeah, well, I think the people in the war room know all the major themes that I would bring up.
A couple that stick out was the ouster of the Speaker McCarthy.
Uh, for, uh, forging a deal with the White House, just an appeasement, total appeasement with the White House on the budget.
They, they, the White House wanted $7 trillion, and, uh, the Republicans caved and gave them that.
And so, uh, that, that was a major move, and now with a new speaker, uh, that's, uh, 2024 is going to be dictated by whether he holds strong on these issues.
steve bannon
Ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, don't, don't, hang on, hang on, hang on, don't, don't, don't bury the lead.
McCarthy gave him an extra year.
We didn't love the first deal, but we were prepared to accept it as team players.
He added another year and took off the cap on the deficits.
We already have over $34 trillion.
This is why McCarthy's gone, and this is the original sin of this Congress.
that they've had a, you know, they're back next week on Tuesday, I think.
And right in front of us is the CR.
And as I say, and I think you agree with me, shut down the border or shut down the government.
We've got to stop playing nicey-nice.
And that's going to make January one of the most intense months in modern American political history, with seven or eight events that would be number one in themselves all jammed together in one, sir.
dave brat
Yeah, the other point that you bring up that I think symbolically is huge is the ouster of Tucker Carlson from Fox News.
That reveals so much in so many ways.
And the FBI and the CIA and the intelligence organizations are not going to be happy campers this year.
Because Tucker is on a roll, along with your show and others, who are now exposing the new logic, and it is not pretty.
Tucker's hinting, and, you know, the Fox reporter now is hinting, you know, they're training us in to get ready for dire outcomes, and Obama writes a movie about an EMP attack and losing electricity next November or something like that implied.
That's crazy land, but now is in our mental models.
And so all that to say, I think the good news is, you know, and I went into modern art and all the devastating decay, but the 24, I honest to God think that there's going to be a return to the faith.
There's going to be a national transformation going on along the lines of the truth and the beautiful and the good.
And I think people are looking for a new mental model.
And that mental model is the mental model of the Judeo-Christian tradition, which they know.
They intuitively have it in them.
And it speaks of greatness, right?
The High Renaissance was captured by three great artists.
And this is not subjective.
They were great.
And greatness is being buried right now.
Well, there ain't no burying.
Look at my room here.
What do I got here?
You know, I'll play around with my camera.
Up here I got Raphael's School of Athens depicting human reason from the Greeks.
That is greatness.
All three of these guys hated each other, by the way.
So get your kids to study this.
Down below, right next to me, is the Lord's Supper by da Vinci.
He captures Jesus Christ.
These are the major themes.
Behind me is the founding, behind me is the Bodleian Library at Oxford University, and then right up there is Michelangelo's Moses.
unidentified
Right?
dave brat
So I try to surround myself with these things, you know, and us Protestant Presbyterians, we torched all your Catholic art.
We repent for that.
Sorry about that.
But these are markers toward the transcendent, toward true greatness.
Alan Bloom wrote a book called Closing the American Mind.
He mocked, you know, the underlings who are just studying the 60s radical stuff.
But after a point in time, after you've studied the pantheon of greatness, you can not close your mind, but you can reach reasoned conclusions about what greatness really is.
And everything around me that I just showed you points one direction.
It's straight up.
Plato's pointing up Even the Greeks, without Christ, without God, were pointing through a mystical transformation toward the good, which in the Judeo-Christian tradition, of course, turns into God.
And so in 2024, I see the American people returning to greatness, returning to want to restore greatness in their kids, in their education.
The moms are taking over.
Wall Street is showing minimal signs of return to sanity, taking on some of the Harvard initiatives, and so there is a cultural transformation going on right now that harkens back to greatness, and that's where my hope is greatly there, largely due to the War Room Posse, who's all over everything in this regard.
steve bannon
In this Return to Greatness, you mentioned the Obama movie, which is very scary and kind of like, are they trying to do predictive programming?
But also Katherine Harridge.
Why would Katherine Harridge, who is a total insider, she was at Fox, but now she's at CBS.
But she's a complete Pentagon insider.
I mean, she's almost like David Ignatius.
When, as we say, David Ignatius of the Washington Post.
That's, as Ben Harnwell calls it, the Langley bugle.
unidentified
Yeah.
steve bannon
You know, he's the he's the town crier for the CIA.
Catherine Herridge is almost that for the Defense Department.
Why would she come out on CBS News and say, oh, well, I think they're anticipating or you should anticipate a major geopolitical Yeah, well, I had a nice election win.
dave brat
I took out the guy who was going to be Speaker.
I ruined a lot of business deals.
A lot of guys with silk jackets up there would not shake my hand.
They all had Rolex watches on the wrist as well.
So, that's what's at stake.
There are trillions of dollars The government sector is now $7 trillion.
The Federal Reserve is printing money.
There's $7 trillion at stake.
There's geopolitical factors at stake.
There's the Ukraine at stake, the money laundering center of the universe.
Now China and Taiwan, like you just said.
unidentified
Israel, Hamas, Hezbollah, Iran.
dave brat
How does that end up?
There are so many factors.
It doesn't take much of a modern forecaster to say, Out of all those things, something's likely going to go wrong, if not created, right?
To make sure, and all the political views are just my own, but if Trump gets in, everybody knows the CIA, the FBI, the intelligence agencies are going to have an overhaul, the state legislatures, the Whitmer stories.
The folks rotting in prison.
Boy, there has been some just grotesque, grotesque behavior.
Rushing eight for three years, all false.
No one goes to jail.
07-08 financial crisis, no one goes to jail.
Federal Reserve props up the billionaires, no one goes to jail.
It's too much.
And so the people want a new mental model that restores justice and I think President Trump probably stands for that return to normalcy.
Even though that sounds crazy, Biden promised normalcy. We got wars all over. We got an economy. Everybody knows the banking sector still got issues. It's being boosted by $2 trillion of deficit spending. So things are going to get worse unless someone steps in to make corrections.
And the American people, I think, see the left has just gone off the rails and they want a restoration of normalcy.
And I think Trump, along with a Republican Senate and House, may find their way back in.
The polling right now looks just Overwhelmingly.
You know, the independents are now 50%.
That's the missing, right?
The Republicans have declined because people are sick of the cash and wearing white papers.
The Democrats have declined.
And now the independents are on the rise.
But it's like we said last week on Thursday, the new demographics show that only the rich are doing better economically.
The upper middle, the middle, and the lower are getting hammered, and that's the new realignment.
So that's what 2024 has to show, and they know it, and they know where the majorities are, and it ain't the 10% of the elites.
steve bannon
Hang on for one second.
We're going to take a short commercial break.
That was a great tee-up.
Ben Harnawar.
We talked a little bit about this last week.
The Ukraine situation, of course, what does Biden do?
Knowing that this audience cut him off from money, they're trying to take the Russian assets that they froze and they're trying to convert them, those treasury bonds, to cash money and give it to Ukraine.
That will be the end of the dollar empire.
On that, you can rest assured that that happened.
Just an insane, it shows you how insane this regime is.
Short commercial break, back in the worm.
New Year's Day, first show of the year.
unidentified
I want to thank you guys for showing up.
Okay, welcome back.
steve bannon
Ben Harnwell, the desperation of the Biden regime, we talked about it on Friday on the Friday show, and we'll get in more to it this week, obviously.
But and remember, this is a lesson for everybody.
You have both non-kinetic and kinetic types of war.
I'm a huge believer in economic warfare.
We should be doing that against the CCP right now.
In fact, after Hong Kong, after they seized Hong Kong, there are opportunities we should have taken.
When you're the prime reserve currency, you've only got one bullet in the chamber of this because of your control of the SWIFT system.
And also reserves and banks.
The Russian economy is doing better.
One of the most important reasons it's doing better, it restricted the billionaires from getting their money out.
They had to reinvest back into Russia.
That may be a lesson here to the United States to learn.
When people are not and don't have the ability to get their capital out and move it out of a country, that reinvesting in Russia is one of the reasons that the Russian Central Bank was able to end the country's economic growth.
was able to hang in there. Now, what happens, they seize the Russian assets. Those assets were principally dollar-denominated bonds, U.S. Treasury bonds. I think $300 billion, they were kept. Now, because this audience cut them off from this scam of the $70 billion of money laundering, they want to essentially cash the bonds and give the cash to the Ukrainians to spend as they will.
That, ladies and gentlemen, as I said on Friday, will cause an absolute run.
That would be the end of the dollar as a prime reserve currency.
It would exacerbate even the de-dollarization movement.
People would say, hey, we can never trust the United States ever.
If we've got our assets in these different banks and the U.S.
Treasury bills, they can just seize them, monetize it, and give it to whoever they want.
But that being said, Ben, that's the economic part of it.
This whole Ukraine thing, and I gotta tell you, there's something, as I've said, so dark about it.
Because Ukraine weaves through the last 10, 15 years of kind of political life in the United States.
As it's never woven through before, including in World War II, when it was one of the principal battlefields of World War II, and we were supplying the Russians.
Of course, none of our generals would ever have allowed FDR to send any troops there, unlike what the guys, or what the regime's doing today.
Why is Zelensky, why is Ukraine, from a European, why has that become so central to the fact that the U.S.
would actually risk being the prime reserve currency just to get cash to Zelensky and these grifters, being that the American people told them under no circumstances do we want any more money going to Ukraine and we're not prepared to approve five billion dollars, much less your 70 billion dollars.
ben harnwell
Ben Harnwell. Steve, because these people, sociopathic overlords, are driven by an insatiable desire to appear, to portray themselves as morally superior beings.
It's a pathology.
And there is no limit to the harm or damage they will do to innocents in order for them to elbow themselves to the front of a video press conference.
There's no limit, right?
That is why Biden is still now, he's still pushing ahead.
He's not going to get the money, but he's still absolutely committed to this.
That's one of the reasons.
The second reason is, of course, is because he's absolutely, or probably his circle, slightly more aware than he is now of reality, the circle around him is absolutely desperate to pivot the debate in 2024 to the GOP blocking the money to Ukraine being the reason that Ukraine lost the war.
I'm talking in the past tense for a future event now, obviously.
Because if the Democrats strategists aren't successful on that pivot of the agenda, then the agenda is going to be a different question from the American public.
Why, Democrats, did you sponsor this war in the first place when the United States should have stayed out and all it has done has created this massive domestic economic political damage.
That's where the debate should obviously be, right?
That really should be there.
People need to be held to account for the damage they have done.
But those, I think, are the two reasons.
Now, Steve, you've often said that the War Room, if you listen to the War Room, if you follow your get feed at Steve Bannon, it's basically a master's degree in understanding and analysing contemporary affairs.
Here's, I'm going to suggest, the proof of this.
Two developments that took place in the dying embers, the dying days of 2023, that will fundamentally have a massive, massive impact on 2024.
And this is one of them.
Here, right, this is why I say, right, you're absolutely right when you claim the War Room is offering a master's course.
But you, and I tip my hat to you here, right, you were saying A year and a half ago, what the FT, the Financial Times, put in an editorial last week, and it's the same material that Robert Shiller, the Nobel Prize winning Yale economist, said as well on exactly the same theme.
I'm just going to read out the quote.
You have said this a year and a half ago, and now there's a soul voice, a voice crying out in the wilderness, right?
And now the panic has hit the mainstream financial establishment.
This shows you that this is not a fringe Conspiracy theories.
This is getting real, folks.
So this is what Robert Shiller said, right?
And most people, if they read the financial press, will have heard of the Case-Shiller housing index.
This is the same guy, he's an economist, a Nobel Prize winning economist, you have heard of, right?
He says if America does this to Russia today, if it confiscates these central bank assets held aboard, we're talking about 260 billion euros worth here, right?
Tomorrow it can do this to anyone.
This will destroy the halo of security that surrounds the dollar and will be the first step towards de-dollarization.
And the FT editorial makes the point.
I'll just synthesize it in a simple sentence, right?
It's what I said on the show a few days ago.
In fact, it might have been the New Year's Eve last night.
The whole shtick of our sociopathic overords, of our globalists, was that they were resisting Russia to defend the international rules-based order.
Now, you mentioned economic warfare as being one of the components of warfare.
What our own leaders are inflicting on us is economic warfare and the damage they are doing to this international rules-based order in order to fight a war that they're not going to be able to win.
It's creating more chaos and more disorder by an order of magnitude than anything that Vladimir Putin could have done.
And they need to be held accountable to this, right?
That is one story from 2023 that will have massive ramifications on 2024.
The other story, which I might quickly refer to here, and it's a shame Rahim is no longer with us, there was an Ipsos poll in November which put the Tories, this is my story that I'm flagging up, this is my story of 2024, because it could fundamentally transform British politics permanently, right?
Just in the dying days of 2023, Reform UK, which is the inheritor party of the Brexit party, Nigel Farage's Brexit party, announced it was going to field candidates, 440 candidates across the UK, in all seats apart from those in Northern Ireland, where there are Tories, right?
Now, they're currently, this Reform UK party, It's currently polling between 10 and 12%.
Rishi Sunak is that the Tories are polling on around 24% right now.
That compares to the Labour's 41%.
Here, Steve, is a statistic that should make your hair stand up on end, right?
I said the Tories won 24%.
A 2% swing away from the Tories from where they are now will reduce them from the 365 seats That they went from 219 down to 72.
That's a 2% swing from where they are now.
Good God!
Good God!
Steve, we're talking about a Canadian level wipeout of the oldest political and Conservative party in the world.
That's a 2% swing.
That does not factor in what will happen if Nigel Farage rejoins Reform UK with the huge charisma that he has.
10-12% is the base figure, right?
The Tory party, if they do this, the Tory party will never hold government, will never achieve government ever again.
This story, Steve, I don't know if Nigel Farage will take the leadership of Reform UK.
I don't know if he will be a candidate.
I don't know if he will win, if he stands.
If we're first past the post, like in the UK, we're not proportional representation, he probably won't win.
I don't want to see this conversation amongst political commentators, judge Nigel Farage's success on whether or not he wins his seat to Parliament.
That is to totally miss the point.
What he could do is being able to put his foot on the oxygen pipe to the Tory party and put his heel down.
That will make him the kingmaker on the whole of the centre-right of the British political spectrum for the next generation, regardless of whether he actually wins his seat or not.
He will call the shots, Steve.
This could be truly transformative for the UK, and transformative in a very good, positive way.
steve bannon
Amazing.
Ben, how do people get to you, sir?
ben harnwell
Thank you so much, Steve.
On Getter, just tap in my surname, there it is, beneath in the car, on Harnwell, at Harnwell, on Getter.
Put out my thoughts, opinions, syntheses there.
Please come and give me a look.
Thanks, Steve.
And Happy New Year to you, and Happy New Year to Dave Brat, and to the War Room, Engine Room, and to the War Room Posse.
steve bannon
Thank you, brother.
Fantastic.
Ben Harnwell.
Short commercial break.
We're going to be back.
We got Dave Bradshaw Allen next in the world.
unidentified
He's a great guy.
♪♪♪
It's New Year's Day.
steve bannon
What a kickoff so far.
Really great special.
I want to thank the team at Real America's Voice, Robin, Parker, Sig, of course my own crack team here at the War Room.
And you've got Mo, you've got Grace, you've got Jane Zirkle, Natalie, the whole gang.
You talk about the new normalcy.
Last week, I think there was actually one of the pollsters, one of the young pollsters, talked about what Trump has looked at as the return to normalcy.
Given the assessment of Rahim and what January has in store for us, you just saw, talking about, you know, now you've got the U.S.
government thinking of seizing people's assets and giving them to other people.
Things that wasn't even done during World War II with the Nazis.
I mean, this is the way you want to cause international, global, financial market chaos.
Let's just do it.
The Biden thing is so out of control.
She actually did a poll and I guess young people, she came back, she says people look at Trump as a return to normalcy.
Which, of course, this is our argument in the first place that he gave you four years of peace and prosperity.
Of course, it was the crazy media and the globalists and the haters.
Your thoughts, sir?
dave brat
No, I think if you just go across the sectors one by one and compare the Trump run against the last four years, right, with the Afghanistan abnegation, Russiagate, the collapse of our security agencies, the economy not coming back to normalcy, and your comments there on the implications of losing the reserve currency for the U.S.
dollar, I called my old buddy, still my buddy, Warren Davidson, on the Financial Services Committee on the Central Bank Digital Currency.
He's still working on it.
I was more optimistic that the Democrats were going to join us on that issue, but I think we only got five votes out of 45 from the Democrats on that.
So we need to shore up the Democrat support.
That issue is huge.
And that, of course, is under the Federal Reserve, and everything is under Congress, believe it or not, right?
The Federal Reserve System reports to Congress.
And so when you talk about a return to normalcy, the dollar itself is supposed to be the standard of three basic functions.
It's a medium of exchange, it's a unit of account, and it's a store of value.
Money is not doing it.
You just lost 20% of your purchasing power over the past four years.
So our currency, you're already getting devastated.
And so now it's incumbent on us to get real smart on the Federal Reserve, right?
Because they're signaling that they might do the Trump put or the, you know, put the Biden put and print a bunch of money and lower the interest rate for no apparent reason other than politics.
Right now you've got $2 trillion in deficit spending, which is hugely stimulative.
And you're going to tell me you're going to cut rates on top of that stimulus?
You'll return inflation almost certainly, right?
And so the Fed, it's incumbent on us to ask, hey, please just give us a rule, right?
Just show us you're rational and you're fair.
I don't care what your rule is, but just tell us what's your operating procedure so that we can have a normal life Once, you know, in the past three decades, they've ruined our lives.
Back in back in 0405, they printed too much and created the 0708 financial crisis.
The Fed did that.
Then the Fed kept the interest rate, the price of money for the whole economy at zero for a decade.
Now they jacked it up 5%.
Small banks And middle-sized banks are not going to be able to deal with this long term, right?
Everyone's saying, oh, everything's fine.
Yeah, you tell me how small banks are going to make a profit competing with money markets when they have to pay 5% for, you know, et cetera, to stay in competition.
So, yeah, we want to return to normalcy.
And under Trump, I mean, it is funny.
I mean, the left's You know, heads must be just popping off when they read the New York Times saying that, you know, Trump is a return to normalcy.
I mean, it's just hilarious because it is true, in a real sense.
It's true.
We had peace for all four years because we were perceived as being strong and no one messed around with Trump.
He knew financial markets way more than people give him credit for.
He knows exactly how stuff works.
unidentified
For 20 or 30 years in New York City, making deals, that's tough.
steve bannon
And we had prosperity.
Four years of peace and prosperity.
We've got to bounce.
You're on fire.
You're kicking the year off right.
Remember, these are all his personal thoughts and beliefs.
When you put these charts up, you've got your economist hat on.
Sometimes it's theologian, sometimes it's politician as a tough congressman, sometimes it's as an economist.
Where do we go to get your charts?
dave brat
Yeah, just Brant Economics on Getter, and I just put up the basic charts.
Only on the economy, no politics.
It's a great place to steer your kids.
If they can make their way through a lot of those charts, they're in good shape.
And share them with the War Room Posse as well.
And I'm going around the country giving talks as well, so you're always welcome at Liberty University.
Parents, bring your young scholars.
And Steve, thanks for kicking off the new year with the bank, giving us full confidence and good news and great things ahead.
steve bannon
Well, we start off with high art and how it's so important for our return to greatness, and we end with the nitty-gritty down in the trenches of money and power.
But hey, that's the world in which we live right now.
unidentified
That's it.
steve bannon
Thank you, brother.
unidentified
You bet.
dave brat
God bless.
See you guys.
steve bannon
I'd be remiss.
Joe was actually traveling a lot at the end of the week last week, but we'd be remiss.
We couldn't start the year without Joe Allen.
Joe, with all this going on, the undertone is still the singularity.
And every day, there's another massive piece about artificial intelligence.
This is not even getting to the things like the Neuralink and all the biotechnology and all these other aspects of the Of the convergence of those industries and sectors into the singularity, except we did hear where the robots had turned on the engineer.
But just give me an overview of looking forward in 2024 of just artificial intelligence.
We're coming up on the first year of the Davos chat GPT, and I'm having very sophisticated people telling me, Steve, If you think elections were chaotic before, he says, wait till you see artificial intelligence.
They said the first one you're going to see is right in Taiwan on the 13th as the CCP is all over it with artificial intelligence, weapons and devices.
Your thoughts, sir?
joe allen
Yes, Steve, I'll definitely be keeping a close eye on Taiwan.
I think it will be a preview of what we can expect in the U.S.
and really across the world.
You know, as you mentioned, it's been a little less than a year since that fateful Davos session.
Three days of non-stop hyping of artificial intelligence and it was really unclear as to where it would go from there.
At the time that was OpenAI releasing chat GPT, GPT 3.5.
They had just partnered with Microsoft with the 10 billion dollar investment.
And it seemed at the time, too, that no one was really sure what was going to happen.
They just knew that there was a lot of money at stake and that this was going to be transformative.
Less than a year later, you now have four major labs in the U.S.
driving forward on projects towards artificial general intelligence.
You'll recall that was barely even mentioned at Davos.
That quickly became a focus of the conversation, mainly due to Sam Altman and OpenAI.
What I see going forward into the year is two things.
One, these companies are going to keep racing ahead.
So that being OpenAI in partnership with Microsoft, DeepMind under Google, Anthropic in partnership with both Amazon and Google.
And of course, inflection AI was kind of an upstart and would be very much remiss to forget XAI with Elon Musk.
All of them are going to be driving their projects forward.
So what I anticipate seeing is, yes, there'll be a lot of the hype cycle.
Yes, there will be some various breakthroughs that we're going to be covering.
But I think the big thing that's going to happen is they're going to consolidate this myth of the artificial general intelligence as it comes closer and closer to realization.
And I suspect that we're going to see the diffusion of the actual technologies over the course of the next year in three major sectors.
The first being education, the second being medicine, and the third being the military.
But I think that idea, it's really important to remember that there's two different levels.
You've got the technology itself and then you've got the idea of the technology.
It's a big deal when you have the wealthiest men on earth and the biggest companies on earth pushing forward this tool that humanity is going to use.
It's a big deal when they push forward a toy that humanity is going to play with.
What they are talking about is the creation of an entity.
They're talking about the creation of a spirit, and they're talking about this spirit as if it will be a god.
I think that outside of any of the actual technological developments, the fact that the West and the developed world is being primed for a techno-religion which believes in artificial intelligence, As a god, well, it's going to be a wacky year on a lot of levels.
That's going to be a big part of it.
steve bannon
Wow.
You said in the triage, or the military, the military part and the intelligence part is where this really gets scary.
What do you anticipate?
And I know, I think you dismissed a lot of the hype that Drudge had, or this thing about the robots attacking the engineer.
But what is your concern about the militarization and clearly the drive to militarize this artificial intelligence as a technology into the military sphere?
joe allen
You know, the three major uses that I've looked at anyway are the battlefield simulation, just simulation of the theater of war in general.
Then you have the actual weapons control.
That's becoming more and more important.
You've got the replicator program out of the Department of Defense.
That's going forward.
I think we are going to see the first real wave of attritable Maybe, to some extent, autonomous, like fully autonomous weapons coming out of the Department of Defense.
I think already you've seen them deployed by Ukraine in a very primitive fashion, so I anticipate more of that.
But the elements of an actual system that can kill in and of itself without a human operator, those systems are going to be developed over the next year.
And just on the timeline that they've announced, by the end of the year, they should have thousands of those systems, potentially fully autonomous, definitely partially autonomous.
The third though, Steve, is in the realm of intelligence.
I would say that most of the systems that I've really looked at involve monitoring populations for the effects of propaganda and also the systems that are used to disseminate propaganda across enemy populations.
The Department of Defense, DARPA, they fund a lot of this through private organizations, through private companies and startups, but ultimately the goal is to be able to monitor in real time the propaganda that you are pushing out in waves over the population.
Well, that's more and more being turned on us, and I think that as we move into the election year, more and more those systems are going to be used to inform not only what the response How do you get, how do we get to you, Joe Allen?
foam in it, to even antagonize us.
steve bannon
How do you get, how do we get to you Joe Allen?
Now more than ever.

Steve, this is going to be our best year ever, I believe, at MyPillow.
We've added a lot more outlets to our, not retail outlets, you know how they've canceled us, but we've got, with the War Room Posse leading the way, we've been able to get a few more accounts out there and other platforms that we've opened up.

steve bannon
The culmination of everything is going to be in this election, obviously the primaries, but in the election in November.
It's going to be one for the ages.
That's why we wanted to fire off the football so strongly today, and I want to thank everybody for being there.
MyPillow.com, promo code WORM.
We're going to have Mike on hopefully every day to make sure that nothing, they can never do what they tried to do in 23.
Remember, Trump, they're trying to steal his business, and I mean steal it.
Okay, let's be blunt.
Mike Lindell, they're trying to crush his business.
And we're not going to let them because Mike's got too many great employees.
It's an employee-owned company.
And we're not going to let the IRS do it.
We're not going to let any of these forces of evil, as Mike continues to pound the Election Crime Bureau to make sure we get free and fair elections.
That's what people, I think, admire you so much, Mike.
You've sacrificed so much for this movement and to make sure that we get the real President back in the White House as soon as possible.
mike lindell
Yeah, and Steve, you know, this is why it's so important to me.
I thank the War Room Posse so much that you guys have had my pillows back.
So I'm able, so it's been a huge distraction, but a necessary distraction that I've had to concentrate so much on my company, because if we lose that, we lose the foundation of everything, you know, that drives me.
steve bannon
They know that, by the way.
They know that.
That's why they came after it, because you're the centerpiece of the election.
mike lindell
Yeah, they want to silence my voice.
They want to silence my voice.
And by having my pillow covered, I guarantee I'm going to spend 20 hours a day, every day, all year long here, fighting to secure our election platforms.
And we've got some great stuff coming up this month.
I'm going to tell—Steve, I'll bring it to you all week long.
I have updates all week long.
These are things that are going to shock everybody, and they're going to give everybody hope.
steve bannon
Shocking hope.
I love it.
Mike Lindell, thank you very much for kicking off the year with us, finishing the first show.
Appreciate it.
mike lindell
Thank you.
steve bannon

Go check it out now.
Also, make sure Birch Gold, this thing about taking the assets, we called it, we said we're heading down the end of the dollar empire.
The evil that controls this country right now, there's nothing they won't do.
They won't stop to control their own power and accumulate more money and resources for it.
But that is our task and purpose!
In 2024, as we leave our first edition here, remember, it is to save this republic and to assist President Trump and our fellow countrymen to return her to her former greatness.
As sure as the turning of the earth, we will do that.
So I want to thank everybody here for being in the first show.
Look forward to being back tomorrow as we grind this out in the historic year of 2024 and the I'll get into more details tomorrow.
The very historic month of January of 2024.
Gonna leave you now with the Robert Shaw Chorale.
Set of great voices, great arrangements.
The song that ends the year and begins it, Auld Lang Syne.
From a, what, an old Scottish clan song?
See you tomorrow morning, back here at 10 a.m.
Eastern Standard Time.
You'll be in the War Room.

We'll take a couple pilots yet for Auld Lang Syne And he's a hand, my trusty friend,
