Speaker Time Text
katy tur
Comer wants to hear from Hunter Biden and he wants it to be in person.
The chair of the House Oversight Committee subpoenaed the president's son along with the president's brother James and their business associate Rob Walker.
In a statement, Comer says he wants to question them on evidence he claims the committee has accumulated of influence peddling.
Joining us now, Punchbowl News co-founder and MSNBC political contributor Jake Sherman.
What is this evidence that they've accumulated of influence peddling?
unidentified
Well, Katie, as you know, there's a whole lot of smoke.
They've not found a fire.
And I'm not even sure you can call it smoke.
But the ultimate question here, Katie, is not what exactly is going on, but where will it lead Speaker Mike Johnson to go to?
And the question ultimately is, will they impeach Joe Biden?
That's the ultimate political and substantive question here, is will they impeach him?
And if you have to guess based on Mike Johnson's behavior so far, and what Mike Johnson said before he assumed the speakership, because this ultimately is the speaker's decision, is that they will probably at some point move to impeach him because he has given most of what the right wants over the last couple of weeks.
And that's just his general demeanor.
And he said basically before he became speaker that he thought that these were, or signaled that he thought these were impeachable offenses.
So the question will become, do Hunter and the other Biden family and the other associates, do they go to Capitol Hill to testify?
If they do, what do they say?
And if they don't say what the committee wants to hear, or they don't say enough, what does the judiciary, the Oversight Committee, and Speaker Mike Johnson do?
The Oversight Committee has issued subpoenas for Hunter Biden, James Biden, and Biden family business associate Rob Walker.
Do you have a comment on that?
karine jean-pierre
So look, as you just mentioned, it's just breaking.
So I don't have this information in front of me.
I'm just hearing from you.
Certainly, I would refer you to any of the personal representatives on this, on your question.
But I will have to say something that I have said many times.
This is an investigation that has been going on for a year now and has turned up zero evidence of wrongdoing by the president because there is none.
But Republicans continue to double down on a baseless, a baseless, A smear campaign against the president and his family.
Instead of being focused on the American people's needs, what they're asking for, what is it that they really truly want us to focus on, they continue to double down on this.
And there are a lot of important issues that we need to deal with.
Not just us here in the White House, but also Congress, national security, the economy, healthcare, gun violence.
That's what we should be focusing on.
But they continue to try to smear this president and his family on a baseless, baseless investigation.
And so anything else further, certainly I would refer you to the personal rep.
steve bannon
This is the primal scream of a dying regime.
Pray for our enemies.
Because we're going medieval on these people.
I got a free shot on all these networks lying about the people.
The people have had a belly full of it.
I know you don't like hearing that.
I know you try to do everything in the world to stop that, but you're not going to stop it.
It's going to happen.
jake tapper
And where do people like that go to share the big lie?
unidentified
MAGA Media.
jake tapper
I wish in my soul, I wish that any of these people had a conscience.
unidentified
Ask yourself, what is my task and what is my purpose?
steve bannon
If that answer is to save my country, this country will be saved.
unidentified
War Room. Here's your host, Stephen K. Babb.
steve bannon
Wednesday, 8 November, Year of Our Lord.
We've got a lot going on.
You've got a major presidential rally that we're going to get to.
We've got Jane Zirkle there.
Caroline Rennell joining us also there.
You've got debate.
And Jane Zirkle's going to be in the spin room there.
I think so are Caroline Renn.
And Carrie Lake, so we got a lot to get to and all that.
I want to start.
We're going to talk about last night.
I got Tiffany Justice here, but I got to go to D.C.
Drano to start off.
And of course, the big news, as we had John Solomon on this morning, he promised us that Comer had committed to go all the way and subpoena the Biden.
They started today with Hunter and Joe Biden's brother and other business associates.
So this thing's starting to heat up.
And the only way it's going to stay hot is if you continue to put pressure on these people.
They're not going to do anything that you are not putting pressure on.
DC Drano, Hogan, thank you for joining us.
Rogan, thank you for joining us.
You had some tweets out today and we had some people on this morning, John Solomon and others, that were very frustrated with the performance of the RNC last night.
What's your beef about this?
Why are you picking on poor Ronna McDaniel in this fiasco that happened in, you know, Yunkin in Virginia, Mitch McConnell's guy in Kentucky, and of course the fiasco debacle in Ohio.
Why is McDaniel to blame for that?
rogan dc draino ohandley
Well, if there's one thing Romney McDaniel probably isn't, it's poor.
The only reason she's got that job is because of her name that she tries to hide.
And last night was atrocious.
You know, I see some Never Trumpers trying to blame Trump.
That guy's dealing with four indictments in courtrooms and, you know, doing rallies.
and up in his polls by 40, 50%.
The woman supposed to be running this RNC is Ronna Romney McDaniel, and she's doing a terrible job.
It's akin to having a closer that comes in every ninth inning, loads the bases, and lets them hit a grand slam, and then gets a pay increase.
I mean, how many times are we going to lose with her in these off-year elections without Trump on the ballot?
It's not even close.
And I, like many others watching this, have not and will not donate to the RNC with Ronna Romney McDaniel at the top.
And fundraising has been through the floor.
And it's because millions of people are frustrated with a GOP establishment that fights against them, okay?
And that doesn't fight the election fraud, doesn't engage in the lawfare, doesn't, you know, look at what Scott Pressler is doing out there, door knocking and registering voters, and he doesn't even get an email from Rana Romney to coordinate this, right?
So, I tweeted this morning, it's time to push her out. And I, like John Solomon, believe on your show this morning, probably the only way to do that is by President Trump giving her the pink slip.
And so I just want to put that out there. You know, it's ultimately his call, but I think it's time for a change.
steve bannon
So Rogan, you're one of the biggest influencers in all politics and particularly in MAGA.
Thank you.
You're also a University of Chicago, I think, law school graduate.
So let's say we get you a meeting with Trump.
Make the case right now.
What is your pitch?
President Trump's back there twice, particularly this big throwdown.
He backed her, you know, she wouldn't be the chair if he hadn't backed her.
So what's your pitch now to President Trump to say, hey, look, you know, I'm one of your strongest guys.
I've got your back, but this has got to end.
It's a disaster and it's going to kill us in 2024.
What is your pitch to the president?
rogan dc draino ohandley
If Matt Gaetz can motion to vacate Kevin McCarthy and make history by doing that as the first speaker to be vacated, I think this is child's play compared to that I'm nervous that we have someone that is either ineffective or actively working against us and it could sink us in 2024.
The time is now.
We have about a year until the 2024 election.
Let's get someone new.
Let's get someone fresh, someone hungry, someone that wants to do the ballot harvesting, someone maybe with a legal background that wants to engage in lawfare.
You know, my two top picks are Harmeet Dhillon and Caroline Wren.
Actually, it's kind of funny you're having her on.
I know Scott Pressler wants to get much more heavily involved.
Maybe he can run the door-knocking, the voter registration, the get-out, the vote campaigns with some actual RNC funding.
I actually think Charlie Kirk would be a great RNC chair.
He knows how to manage a lot of money.
He knows a lot of donors.
He knows how to connect with the youth, connect with the older.
The tech data, you know, he threw out Vivek earlier today.
I gave it some thought.
I'm not really on board with it, but let's get some fresh blood in there.
And sir, let's do it now.
Let's do it now and give them a chance to get comfortable with it over the next six months.
And then we hit the ground running when it comes to the general in 2024.
steve bannon
Rogan, after the Keebler elves are on tonight, and of course, Junkin's finished because of the debacle last night.
You got the Keebler elves, nobody's getting any traction.
How important is it to you that the RNC shut down these ridiculous debates after tonight's debacle?
rogan dc draino ohandley
We have a fundraising problem.
We were outspent in Virginia.
By multiples.
Okay?
And part of the reason is that a lot of this GOP money is going to candidates that are 50, 60 points down.
It's going to these pointless debates of the JV team where no one's even going to watch.
Trump's got a actual rally going on tonight.
That's what people are going to be tuned into.
Stop wasting our money.
Stop trying to hurt our own people with this.
And this goes out to those candidates.
It's time to step down.
You've had your chance.
You've had months, some six months or more, and you can barely crack double digits.
It's over.
Let's unify around President Trump.
Let's start putting our money towards ballot harvesting.
Let's motivate this grassroots base to get out there.
I think Speaker Johnson's actually doing a great job so far.
Right?
And we've been depressed with McCarthy doing nothing, with the establishment fighting against us, but I think we're going to have a lot of momentum going into this.
Trump's polls are stronger than ever.
And the last thing we need is people in the internal GOP infrastructure working against us or sleeping on the job.
It's time for a major personnel change.
Shock the system.
It's going to drive up so much grassroots voter support to see new leadership at the top.
Donations are going to fly through the roof.
People are going to be out volunteering, door knocking.
Let's do it now.
Rip the Band-Aid off and let's get some fresh blood in there.
steve bannon
Rogan, how do people follow you?
Where do they go?
unidentified
D.C.
rogan dc draino ohandley
Drano on everything and, you know, just I think if there's one thing I've seen, you know, I got a lot of competing viewpoints on what went wrong last night.
If there's one thing I've seen everyone agree on, it's that Ronna Romney McDaniel is done.
She's gotta go.
unidentified
D.C.
steve bannon
Drano, Brogan Hanley, thank you.
Honored to have you on here.
rogan dc draino ohandley
The debate has been kicked off.
steve bannon
You've had John Sullivan.
Thanks, brother.
You've got Rogan, who's one of our most powerful influencers in all politics, and particularly in the MAGA movement.
John Solomon, one of the most respected investigative reporters.
This has got to be dealt with.
You can't look away anymore.
We've got a year, and people have to be serious.
Rogan's absolutely correct.
I tell you, somebody is serious.
Let me go to Tiffany Justice.
Tiffany, a lot of gnashing of teeth and pulling of hair overnight, but the Moms for Liberty, the importance of the school board elections are still not lost to anybody.
Tell us how we did last night.
tiffany justice
Yeah, I mean, we just won 50 seats yesterday, in one single day.
That added to what we had won on already in 23.
You have to remember, school board elections are all the time.
And so, adding that many seats in 2023, that to the 275 in 2022, you have 365.
So we've gotten a school board member elected for every day of the year.
steve bannon
Tiffany, Tiffany, Tiffany, hang on a second, we gotta reboot you.
It's got a little echo there, and I wanna hear, I want everybody to hear this.
So let's go take Tiffany down.
We'll bring her back up.
These school board elections, remember, it's not parents matter, it's parents' rights.
This is one of the most critical issues we have going on today.
Okay, we're going to get Tiffany back up momentarily.
We've got Jane Zirkle, Jane and Caroline Rent are both in Miami.
We've got breaking news.
We're going to have to deal with this in the second hour, but I want everybody to hang around.
News coming out of Nashville, they've put seven, I think, officers or seven people associated with the police department, I think on administrative leave because of this manifesto.
And this is an obscenity.
The thing about the parents' feelings, I understand.
It's tough.
And about who leaked it, maybe that's important, maybe it's not.
But that's not the issue.
The issue is the manifesto itself.
The issue is the manifesto.
How this twisted ideology, this transgender ideology, twisted This young woman into being a monster.
That's the question before us.
That's the question has to be dealt with Michael Packer.
He's going to be here at 6 the 14th Amendment crowd the 14th Amendment crowd.
They've got another they have another sleight of hand.
This is coming out of Harvard Law School now to join Ludig, so we're going to get that from Jeff Clark.
We've also got, also, the Palestinian situation, the social justice wars, the Palestinians, this radical group, they're in the grade schools in New York City.
In the grade schools.
And we're sure Jackie Torberoff is going to be here.
We're going to get down that.
It's not just in Washington Square Park.
It's just not college campuses.
And this is what happens when you radicalize these faculties, when you have these groomers that are the teachers of these young kids, you get radicals.
And man, it's getting radical.
It's getting radical very quickly in New York City.
OK, we got a lot to get to.
We're going to take a commercial break.
I want everybody to go check out Go right now to birchgold.com slash Bannon.
You get a big freebie, and that is the end of the dollar empire.
It's like four big installments.
A fifth is coming.
Gets you up to speed on the U.S.
dollar as the prime reserve currency and what happens when it's not.
In addition, you get to talk to Philip Patrick and the team about gold as a hedge against times of turbulence.
Birchgold.com slash Bannon.
Go check it out now.
Back in a second.
unidentified
Here's your host, Stephen K. Bamm.
steve bannon
Breaking news, Minnesota Supreme Court dismisses insurrection clause challenge, allowing Trump to remain on the 2024 primary ballot.
Kaboom!
Suck on that, Lawrence Tribe.
We're going to still do the breakdown.
They're still trying in other states, but Minnesota, the great state of Minnesota, has weighed in.
It's obviously a joke, but it's going to be a very costly joke.
Tiffany Justice, I think we solved the technical problem.
One of the biggest races going on throughout the country last night were the school board races.
Walk us through how we did.
tiffany justice
Yeah, so we've been endorsing in races all through 2023.
In fact, we've had 90 wins in 2023.
We got 50 yesterday in one single day.
So if you add that to the 275 wins we got in 2022, you've got 365 school board members elected, endorsed by Moms for Liberty, one for every day of the year, Steve.
Joyful warriors sitting on school boards, making sure that parental rights are respected and that we're getting back to the basics in American public schools.
So 50 new school board members elected.
Nothing to sneeze at.
steve bannon
What did we find out?
What lessons did we learn for those people that won?
And what lessons did we learn?
Did we go up the learning curve at all for those people that did not win?
tiffany justice
You know, 83% of the endorsed candidates, Steve, by Moms4Liberty had never run for public office before.
So what we know, the lessons that we have learned and continue to learn is the fact that we need to help them to run for office and to learn how to campaign and run effective So we have a campaign kit on our website.
I've talked about it a little bit here before, but please go to our website under candidates and get that campaign kit.
If you're thinking about running for office, we're going to continue to do trainings across the country and to work with other organizations to do trainings.
But that's really one of the biggest issues.
People do not understand how to run for office, how to run effective campaigns.
But on the plus side, we have all of these brand new people that are getting involved in our civic process, which is absolutely wonderful.
The other thing that we know to be true is these candidates need money.
And I will just be honest with you and say there is no organization, there is really no support on the ground for school board candidates running for office that are standing for the principles of freedom and liberty in America right now.
And you've had a couple guests on today that are talking about that.
But if you're a Republican candidate, you're running for school board.
If you're a Republican, there really isn't any support or money that's coming to you.
We're working on that at Moms4Liberty.
steve bannon
Of course.
I'm sorry, go ahead.
You are, but of course because the RNC and these people are too disorganized to see where real victories can come and how a little bit of money can go along.
The leverage on the school boards is tremendous because it's like the precinct strategy.
This is actual engagement down at the deck place.
What lessons have we, the 275 that are in, How tough has it been for them?
What lessons?
Are they still joyful warriors?
Do they understand their task and purpose and the huge task ahead of them?
Or are some already getting disappointed?
tiffany justice
Well, I mean, I'm not going to lie.
It's not easy right now.
It's a pretty toxic environment and anyone coming in to make change happen.
And I spoke about this at the Florida Freedom Summit.
I told people they need to support disruption because what happens is when you get on a board and maybe you're in the minority or maybe you're flipping a board and we flipped York County.
I think it's York County Southwestern School District.
We flipped that entire board.
But what the media wants to say then is, oh, it's so chaotic.
There's so much disruption.
No one can get anything done.
The truth of the matter is they're not used to contested races and they don't like people challenging the status quo.
So you see this, I talked about on Saturday at the Florida Freedom Summit, Matt Gaetz, Byron Donalds, making disruption happen.
It's important because the system doesn't like disruption.
People who want to protect the status quo do not like disruption, but that's why we need to support it more.
And so I talked a little bit about that.
That's just the truth in these school districts too, Steve.
It's so easy for them to try to say, Oh, it's so chaotic.
Well, because you're not just a rubber stamp anymore, because you have real school board members that are asking questions and aren't okay with a 17% proficiency reading in math for all fourth graders, right?
And proficiency rate in reading.
You know, the media wants to portray it as, you know, oh, there were huge losses yesterday.
Would I have liked to win every race?
Absolutely would I have liked it.
But am I happy that 50 seats were won?
Absolutely I am.
I had a reporter who told me that Randy Weingarten said it was a repudiation of everything that we're doing.
And I told him, he said, what would you say to Randy?
And my message to Randy is this.
Randy, we're just getting started.
You need to understand that.
You need to get used to never having uncontested races again.
And you better buckle up because we're ready for 2024.
Let's play.
steve bannon
We've got a short clip from this Florida summit.
It was amazing.
Let's go and play it.
tiffany justice
And the last thing I'll say to you is this.
Support the disruption.
There are a lot of people that are going to try to tell you that Matt Gaetz, Byron Donalds, other people that are shaking things up, right, that they're not really doing it for the right reasons, or somehow they're creating a problem, it's chaos, things aren't going well.
You know what I know from working in a school district for four years?
The administration doesn't like the disruption.
The establishment doesn't like the disruption.
That's why you should want it more.
unidentified
Applause Incredible.
steve bannon
It's incredible.
unidentified
Thank you.
steve bannon
In the seat you didn't win, is the argument, they use that as a counter-argument, hey, we just got to have a group hug and get along, and if the kids, if the reading and math scores are terrible, if they're not prepared for a post-industrial society as a worker or somebody that can contribute to society, if you got porn in the, if you have porn in the I don't know, honestly, Steve, what the counter-argument is for the other races.
I mean, the bottom line is this.
this crazy, that it won't be contentious at the board meetings, we're not going to have angry parents up there, because all you're doing is feeding Tiffany Justice and her angry warriors.
Is that the counter-argument that won these other races?
tiffany justice
I don't know, honestly, Steve, what the counter-argument is for the other races.
I mean, the bottom line is this, these are not partisan issues.
Teaching kids how to read.
That's not a partisan issue.
That's not a political issue.
That isn't an issue we should be divided on.
And the idea that somehow Democrats or Republicans get to own that issue is just ridiculous.
Parental rights are fundamental.
This is not a partisan or a political issue.
And so what I continue to say to parents is, what is your line?
What is it going to take for you to stand up and protect your parental rights?
What violation is going to have to happen?
And unfortunately, it seems like things just haven't gotten bad enough in certain places, but people are waking up every day.
And the other thing that I said in my speech at the Florida Freedom Summit is this, when speaking to Republicans, create the space for people to change their minds.
Create the space for people to join you as a party, because there are a lot of people that are waking up and looking at the other people around them and saying, gosh, you know, I thought I agreed with you about a lot of stuff, but I don't know if I agree with you about this.
Whether it's Hamas, whether it's abortion, you know, late-term abortions, there are a lot of different things that are happening where people are really questioning which political party that they're a part of.
A lot of the COVID stuff too.
So I just hope that we are welcoming new people in You know, my experience at the ground level with the REC has not always been fantastic.
I shared that with you.
I think there's a lot of work to be done within the Republican Party to create a better, more open environment for new people to join and to be advocates and to work on local issues together.
steve bannon
Tiffany, for those that hear your voice and are inspired, where do we go?
Where do people find out more about Monster Liberty and the whole parents' rights movement?
tiffany justice
Yeah, so just to tell you, lots of interest today in starting chapters.
I think a lot of the vitriol that is really bouncing back and hurting a lot of people.
So we've gotten some new requests for chapters today, which is really exciting and membership.
So if you're interested and you want to help us, whether it is you want to donate, You want to join us?
You want to try to help in some way on the ground?
Getting the vote out?
Go to momsforliberty.org and click to join.
There's a big map there.
You can see if we have a chapter in your state, in your county.
We're up to 48 states, over 300 chapters, 130,000 members, and growing every day.
And again, Steve, I promise you, my commitment is there is no compromise when it comes to our children, and we are going to win.
There is no other option.
We will take our country back.
steve bannon
Tiffany, honored to have you on here.
Fight on.
Fantastic.
tiffany justice
Thank you, Steve.
steve bannon
I want to make sure if Grace and Mo can put up in the chat.
I want everybody to push out the Moms for Liberty.
Jane Zirkle.
Jane Zirkle now joins us.
Jane, you're on the riser.
Tell us what's going on down there.
unidentified
So I'm coming to you live from Hialeah, Florida, in beautiful Miami-Dade County, where President Trump is expected to make remarks later tonight.
The crowd is very energized and excited to hear what he has to say, because Miami-Dade County is not only one of the most influential counties in all of Florida, but it's one of the most influential counties in all of the nation.
And I want to share with you a poll that President Trump just posted on his True Social account.
If the Republican primary was held today in Miami-Dade County, 73% of voters would be supporting Donald Trump and only 26% would be supporting Ron DeSantis who of course is across town right now with the other Keebler elves as you would call them at the Presidential debate, and I use that term very loosely.
Now, President Trump's remarks tonight are coming off of his fantastic speech that he gave at the Florida Freedom Summit over the weekend, where national security and the border took center stage.
And that is definitely the top issues for voters at the rally tonight.
Of course, South Florida has the second largest concentration of Jews, second to Israel, and to national security and everything going on in the Middle East is incredibly important to them.
They understand that President Trump brought peace to the Middle East.
There were no wars under President Trump.
And he made very clear in his speech over the weekend that anyone who hates America, that anyone who wants to abolish Israel, will not be getting into the United States of America.
steve bannon
Jane, we've got a minute and I'm going to hold you over, but my question is, DeSantis was supposed to be the popular governor of Florida.
How do you have this poll in Miami-Dade County that's got three out of every four voters choose the hard brand, Trump?
How did that work?
unidentified
I think voters understand that this is Trump country and Trump's time to come back is now.
We need him more than ever with what Joe Biden has done to this country.
I talked to a lot of voters who said that they are absolutely disgusted with what he has done to the border, with his open border policies.
They feel unsafe, particularly Jewish Americans feel very, very unsafe right now.
And of course, much of the population here down in South Florida is from Cuba.
They came to America for freedom.
And they saw the beacon of light that was President Trump back in 2016, back in 2020, and he has a lot of unfinished business.
Now, they do like DeSantis as their governor, but now just isn't his time.
They feel that he is straight too far into the Keebler Elves hole.
steve bannon
Jane, you just hang on for one second.
We're taking a short commercial break.
We're going to go back to the Trump rally.
Jane Zirkle is there with Real America's Voice Live.
I've got Grace Chong is going to get us up to speed on the app.
We've got a lot of work to do, folks.
The CR is starting to explode.
for you're gonna go to the ramparts next in the war room.
unidentified
Here's your host Stephen K. Bamm.
steve bannon
We're gonna go back to to to Jane Zirkle.
Jane, and by the way, we've got Caroline Wren coming up next hour.
We're going to be in Nashville on this twisted ideology of transgenderism, what it did to those children at the Covenant School.
And by the way, that is something that's spreading throughout the country.
Also New York City, where grade school children, Jane Zirkle talks about the Jews in South Florida being concerned.
In New York City, This social justice for Palestine, these radicals, which are Islamic, they're Sharia supremacists, are now into the public schools at like the kindergarten level.
And Jackie Torberow is going to be here to go through it.
It'll shock you.
If I had to ask, you know, I notice this crowd is going to be massive.
And by the way, Grace is going to be here in a second.
Mo and Grace are going to, on tonight, they're going to live stream the speech.
I'll be on there too.
So just go to our Getter and Rumble page for that.
Jane, there's so many people there.
If you had to go in the crowd, and I know you've done some reporting, we'll play a package later, and ask them, why are they not watching the Keebler Elves?
Why are they not watching the Keebler Elves?
unidentified
Let me put it this way, Steve.
These patriots stood outside in the heat for six plus hours to see President Trump speak tonight.
They are a working class crowd who love America, and they feel that Ron DeSantis has unfortunately sold out to the establishment elites who seek to destroy them.
They see what Joe Biden thinks of them.
They see what Kamala Harris and the Biden regime have done to this country, how gas prices are through the roof, how they can barely afford to feed their families anymore.
These are hard-working Americans who just want to be left alone by the government at the end of the day.
These are people who escaped communism, who see the communism of the Biden regime flooding in and flooding in through our southern border.
They see Hamas flooding through our southern border right now.
They want safety, they want security, and they want the American dream, and they understand that Donald Trump will provide that like he did in his first term.
steve bannon
Jane, what's your social media?
How do people get to you as you're covering this tonight?
unidentified
You can find me at Jane Zirkle on Twitter, Getter, and of course, Instagram.
And also make sure to follow Steve Bannon's War Room on all the different social media platforms because we've been expanding a lot, including on TikTok and True Social.
steve bannon
Jane, thank you so much.
I look forward to following your coverage tonight.
Like I said, Grace and Mo will be putting this up.
I'll be on the live chat during the speech because I ain't going to be watching the Keebler Elves.
I got a cold open for our own Grace Chong.
Let's play that.
katy tur
All right, let me talk about the other major story, which is the government shutdown.
And this is going to be a major story every single day because we are nine days out.
What movement was there today on this?
unidentified
Zero, Katie.
Absolutely nothing.
I'm actually stunned given how many shutdowns and near shutdowns we've been through over the last couple of years.
Just a lack of movement here.
The House is leaving tomorrow for a long weekend.
Friday is Veterans Day.
They've not moved a funding bill.
They've not even announced what funding bill they will move.
They need to announce something soon to get something on the floor early next week, 100%, because they can't do it without a 72-hour window.
So, Katie, I am really at a loss.
It takes the Senate several days, as we all know, to move anything.
The House has not passed anything.
They need to figure something out over the next couple days.
They're talking about this two-step approach that would extend government funding for some period of time, and then a bunch of other parts of the government uh... to a later date so they can negotiate this is a mess katie this is i want to say it's as bad as it's ever been but this is as unprepared as congress has been for a shutdown in car is mike johnson having meetings and in private about this i mean he has he has a lot of it he is in his leadership team is as well but here's the thing katie
If you give people a stage to voice their opinions, they will voice their opinions and you will hear a million different options for funding the government.
So what a lot of lawmakers are telling me is we just want Mike Johnson to make a decision So we could have some sort of guidance on where we're going.
Unfortunately, he has not done that yet, which is, as you show right there, today at the government funding deadline.
In the best of times, Katie, if the Senate was going to move quick and the House was going to pass a clean CR with no strings attached, that would be a tight timeline.
There's very little chance that Congress and the House will do that.
So this is very tight and very tricky.
katy tur
Not so fun to be covering Congress right now.
A long day is long.
Yes it is!
We love Congress!
unidentified
Let's go.
steve bannon
Okay.
There couldn't be a better time to do this because the country's in the balance.
Grace, this is why folks should understand behind the scenes there's a lot going on.
Hakeem Jeffries came out today and said, hey, if it's not a clean CR, we're not supporting it.
The Senate's already said virtually the same thing.
All the huge fights over there, and particularly now fights on the supplemental over in Ukraine about having changes to the asylum, the rigged asylum system.
So there's a ton of fights going on behind the scene.
Our position is let them shut down the regime.
Right now, let them shut down the regime.
We're never going to give a clean CR.
You're never going to get support for a clean CR.
If you got the ladders, and the ladders have to be explained, this concept called the ladders has to be explained to people so we can actually see where the cuts are coming.
The important thing here, we must have massive cuts to discretionary spending.
That must happen now.
The House Republicans got to be tough on this.
Grace, I got you up here because I want everybody to get this app gives you operating leverage.
We haven't given the directions of where, you know, where people should go, but I want everybody to be on this app.
When we give it, how do they do it?
How do they download it?
How does it make it make sense for me?
Because you know, I'm, I'm technologically not terribly proficient.
grace chong
So as we know, our mantra, the War Room's mantra is action, action, action.
This is pure action, action, action.
So this app was developed to make your life so much easier to basically in one touch, be able to call your representatives and senators.
And like Steve said, and even Jake Sherman, we've got nine days out for this continued resolution.
And so go to, we have to be calling our representatives and make sure our voices are heard.
We need to hold them accountable.
And if the government shuts down, It shuts down.
And I just wanna say, Jake Sherman tweeted just a little earlier that he said, the laddered CR was originally envisioned as having December and January deadlines.
Now, January and February are in the mix.
Government shuts down November 17th.
So download Bill Blaster, and you can find it at warroom.org, right smack dab in the middle.
It is available only for iPhone right now for iOS 17, But, great news, we are currently developing, and it should be launching very soon, the Android version.
Also, so many of you guys asked for the desktop version, so we're going to create that.
And also, all the older models for iPhones will be compatible as well, so we're really excited.
And also, we're going to be adding in so much cooler features, so I'm really excited.
But everyone, make sure to go and check it out.
Send us emails, let us know if you have any questions, but we've had such an overwhelming response, positive feedback, so really appreciate it.
Yeah.
unidentified
So please go and download.
steve bannon
Okay, like I said, we haven't given marching orders yet, but you've got to get this.
This is going to be operating leverage, and this is going to be another fight for the ages, folks, and you're going to be the deciding factor as the pressure campaign will start to mount as we kind of work through what the options are.
Right now, hey, let them shut it down.
Let Biden shut this thing down.
Hakeem Jeffries said, they're in your face, only a clean CR.
Hey, Hakeem, how about this?
Screw you.
unidentified
Nothing.
steve bannon
This is what I'll give you.
unidentified
Nothing.
steve bannon
You pay my gambling license, as I said in the Godfather.
Grace, real quickly, your social media, how do they get to the Queen of the Trolls?
grace chong
You can follow me on Getter, at Grace Chong.
True Social, Instagram, also at Grace Chong.
And Twitter, where I love to come in hot.
GC22GC.
And make sure to watch Trump's rally tonight and not the debates with the Keebler Alps.
We'll all be there to support our president.
steve bannon
Perfect.
The real president.
Thank you very much, Grace Chung.
Let's go back to Miami, and we ain't going to the Keebler Elves.
We're going to go to Caroline Wren, who's at the rally.
Caroline, why are you not at the Keebler Elves debate?
Aren't you hanging on every word of the Keebler Elves?
caroline wren
Well, because I'm not an emotional cutter, and so I'd rather not have to sit there, which is probably what I'd do is slit my wrist if I had to go to a debate for the third time.
They're a total waste of time.
I had to go to the first two, and I feel like I'm never going to get that time of my life back, and so this time I wanted to be where I actually feel welcomed and excited and where all the energy of the Republican Party is, and that is in Miami with President Donald J. Trump.
steve bannon
So listen, you were out in, what, in Laguna or, you know, down in Southern California in the big fight for the RNC.
We had a debacle last night.
Rogan and Hanley, John Solomon.
My phone's blown up all day long.
We just can't take the RNC being so disorganized, having no money because nobody would give them any money.
Yet they're there in Miami at five-star hotels, having this huge, expensive debate, which is meaningless except to try to hurt President Trump.
What is your recommendation?
Why are they so far off?
What's important?
And they kind of lost their way.
What are we going to do about this?
caroline wren
Well, in the real world, if you continuously failed at your job, you would not be able to keep that position.
But within the Republican Party, apparently, if you're Ronald McDaniel, you could keep that position after devastating losses over, over, and over again.
And this is kind of, it's the culture of the Republican Party that Uh, these party committees that keep us here.
It's certain consultants that make money off of a failing system.
They literally, they make more money when we lose than when we win, and that is why we're always consistently be in this position until someone comes in and actually breaks this culture.
Matt Gaetz broke that culture when it came to the Speaker of the House, and everyone said he couldn't do it, there's no way, he'd never be able to push through, and he did, and that should teach a lesson to all of us.
We have to break all of the Republican establishment party Culture of the consulting culture all of it and right now I mean I've been screaming about this for two and a half years about Rana So I will continue to scream about it because it is a huge huge problem.
She has overseen Devastating under performances over and over since she came in in 2017 But you're a person of action, as I've gotten to know you over the last couple of years.
steve bannon
What is action?
How can we actually remove her?
How can we lance the boil?
Because it's got to happen now.
We're one year out.
We can't have any more happy talk, no more games.
All they're focused on is this big expensive convention in Milwaukee where they want to have everybody there in $500 a night hotels.
They're down in Miami right now partying away.
Wasting money on what's an obscenity.
This debate tonight's an obscenity.
With Hugh Hewitt, a complete rhino, and then the NBC team.
I mean, it's an obscenity.
What's the action that has to be taken?
caroline wren
I mean, well, we can just ignore it, right?
They already announced another debate in Alabama.
They're going to keep going, and it's such a waste of money.
The convention, I don't really know what to do about yet.
I agree with you.
I was actually the finance director of the Republican National Convention in 2016.
I had a great time.
It was wonderful, but that was a different time.
Right now, we should not be wasting.
I think it was $100 million that we had to raise for Cleveland Convention, so I would imagine it's, with inflation, God, it's probably $125 million.
That is money that we desperately need for election integrity right now.
We need it to not only be registering voters, but doing offensive lawsuits.
And so we're living in a different time, and the party has not adapted to that.
Ronna McDaniel hasn't adapted to that.
None of the committees have, and that is the whole problem that we have.
So for right now, what I'm focusing on is skipping that top tier and just going straight to the local party, the county clubs, the local clubs.
state party clubs and working directly with them, working directly with state party chairs that need our help because we can't just sit on the sidelines and unfortunately the way the campaign finance works you also can't just ignore the party committees and say defund them and do this totally outside because there are certain ways that Congress has lit in our campaign finance laws that they get better rates when it comes to postage and mailing and all these different things so we have to take these party committees back over we have to call them out I think that we need to have everyone lobbying calls into the RNC right now call into your state party chairs and say that we're not going to continuously
sit on the sidelines as they make failures is what they are.
It's been failure and failure and failure.
And so we have to stand up and do something, but we can't just ignore and defund the party committees because they get the race and others don't.
unidentified
Yep.
steve bannon
Okay, we're gonna take some action here.
We'll have you back on tomorrow.
Quickly, with social media, how do people follow you as you're at the speech?
caroline wren
Yep, it's at Caroline Wren on Twitter, Gitter, and TruSocial.
steve bannon
And Carrie's gonna be in the spin room over at the Keebler Elves.
Is she gonna be there?
caroline wren
Oh yeah.
It's gonna be Carrie Lake and Matt Gaetz and Sarah Huckabee Sanders in the spin room tonight, so it'll be fire.
steve bannon
Wow.
That'll be fire.
Okay, thank you very much, Caroline.
We'll be back to you about this RNC issue.
It's got to be solved.
Thank you very much, ma'am.
Jane Zirkle, Caroline Wren are at the rally.
We're gonna cover that on the streaming.
Short break.
Back in the warm in just a moment.
unidentified
Legitimately elected.
And then they would try to do away with elections, and do away with opposition, and do away with a free press.
And you could see it in countries where, well, Hitler was duly elected, right?
And so, all of a sudden, somebody with those tendencies, those dictatorial, authoritarian tendencies would be like, okay, we're going to shut this down, we're going to throw these people in jail.
And they didn't usually telegraph that.
Trump is telling us what he intends to do.
You know, this country has a lot of problems.
joy behar
And the main one is named Donald Trump.
Okay, I can't personally believe that this loser has so many people who still think that he could make a decent president.
He's been criminally charged with 91 counts.
I mean, he's practically got one foot in jail and no one on a banana peel, this guy.
And they still say, oh, we still like him.
What do you make of that?
unidentified
Oh, I don't know, Joy, didn't you just write a play about this?
joy behar
By the way, you know, Mrs. Clinton did win the popular vote.
unidentified
I continue to believe that you won.
joy behar
I don't care what they say.
unidentified
No, but look, I think you are absolutely right.
steve bannon
Yeah, Mrs. Clinton did win the popular vote.
Even that's somewhat contested, and President Trump thinks it's very contested.
But one thing I know is an absolute, immutable fact.
She got her ass kicked in the Electoral College, baby.
Every night I say a little prayer before going to bed, and I thank the Lord that I had a tiny and small part in making sure she never set foot in the Oval Office as Commander-in-Chief and President of the United States.
She is dangerous, deranged, and how do I say this?
Not a good person.
You see what President Trump's reigned against, and of course every day they're going to come up with a new thing.
It's Glenn, yesterday's news, Glenn Youngkin.
Remember Youngkin and Murdoch News and everything they're going to do, and he's going to be great, and they're going to take the state.
Not hearing a lot of that today, right?
Kind of crickets, just like DeSantis, just like Nikki Haley, just Tim Scott.
They're all going to be the great saviors.
Media played it all up.
And tonight, And I guess, folks, the RNC, we're going to have to take that on our watch and figure out what to do, but it can't go on like this.
This is just a disaster.
They're not raising any money because people don't trust them with money.
They don't trust them to be fiduciaries.
All they're looking to do is put on huge events down in, what, in Laguna or in Miami.
Notice the places they're going to.
They're not holding anything in East Palestine, are they?
Notice they're not out there at the roadside end.
They're not in East Palestine.
No, they're in Miami Beach.
They're in Laguna.
They're living high on the hog, on donor's money.
They got this big, they're gonna have to raise a couple hundred million dollars for a convention that we don't need.
You can do it much smaller.
Do it in an armory somewhere.
Do it in one of these old armories.
And put some folding chairs up.
Brew up some coffee on the side.
We got work to do.
We don't have time to party.
We don't have time to mess around.
Right?
We don't need prom night with the RNC.
It's unacceptable.
And the hard work ahead of us, the money, the money they're spending on this, debacle, this is, and I'm so glad that Trump went full Trump and gonna Bigfoot him right across and I want everybody to watch.
Anybody watching the Keebler Elves, you're wasting your time.
It's less, it's not even hot air.
It's neoliberal, neocon, talking about concepts and structures and processes and things that don't matter anymore.
They can't get out of that mindset.
Okay, at six o'clock in the next, uh, and by the way, did you ever track down Mike?
Didn't get him.
I know he's out and about.
I don't know if Lyndell slept in the last couple days, as you would imagine that Lyndell's out there and a little, uh, a little revved up right now.
Uh, at six o'clock, we're going to go from Manhattan to Nashville, up to Minnesota, where they just ruled, they threw the 14th Amendment out.
Of course, Ludwig and Larry Tribe would get another attack on this.
And so you've got to get ahead of this 14th Amendment.
There's another way they're coming at him.
But right there, you just hurt Hillary.
Even Hitler got elected already.
It's Trump and Hitler, Trump and Hitler, Trump and Hitler.
This is the poison they put out there every day.
This is what we have to combat, and you definitely have to combat it.
Because you're the minoritarian vanguardists that are leading this.
You are the tip of the tip of the spear.
And I want everybody to go check that app out.
This thing is totally free.
Grace and the team have done a fantastic job putting it together.
She and her development team of programmers.
This is going to be a real force multiplier and we've got a lot of things to work on.
is going to be a quite tough and brutal fight, I will tell you.
The unmasking is going to continue.
And you can kind of see today with Congressman Coleman from South Carolina, South Carolina Five, even he was a little dispirited because it's going to be tough.
We've got alternatives.
We don't want to kick this thing past the holidays.
Hey, people don't have to go home, eat turkey up and, you know, give thanks in the Capitol.
What could be better?
You're serving your country.
Okay, I want to make sure, by the way, one of the things we're trying to do here, as you know, is to help these entrepreneurs build what I call an alternative economy.
If you look at your life, and it's toned down a little bit now because you got up in their face and backed up, but they're still doing it.
The most progressive, some of the most progressive entities or institutions in this country are corporations.
In the old Republican playbook, oh yeah, let's cut their taxes, let's deregulate, let's give them everything you want.
Well, hey, They're completely progressive.
They're all over trying to groom your kids.
These are not good people.
They don't have the nuclear family.
They particularly don't have your interests in mind.
And so what Michael Seefer and the teams at PublicSQ have done is built an app that gives you an exchange, gives you an alternative.
And what you can do is you can go list, if you're an entrepreneur, your products and services.
And if you're a consumer, you can get on there and check out the products and services.
You've got to make sure they're first class.
You're not in the business.
Nobody's asking you to buy something or to buy a service or take a service or buy a product that's not top line.
You've got to make that own decision.
Nobody's going to tell you what to do, but this gives you access to that information.
PublicSQ.com.
Seifer and these guys have really worked hard on this.
It's something we enthusiastically support, and they're getting ready to come out with this new part of it.
It's going to make it a little bit like Amazon, so you get a cart, and maybe you can go between the different stores.
So they're really working on it.
It's fantastic, and we love it, and we really support those guys.
Also, SLNT, the Faraday bags, we're all about security, particularly security of your communications, you know, with Unplugged.com, with the phone that Eric Prince has worked on, of course, the satellite phone, and now silent SLNT to make sure that they can't get to your computer, they can't get to your iPad, they can't get to your phone.
Are we paranoid?
No, we're not paranoid.
But yo, folks, I've been dragged in there a couple times.
In fact, tomorrow is my appeal on Nancy Pelosi's nonsense in the House.
And I'm going to fight that all the way to the Supreme Court, if need be.
So, I can tell you from the inside, what they look like from the inside is quite different than what they try to put forward to the American people.
And you can see this even in what Jim Jordan arranged the other day.
Don't let anybody get access to your comps.
No need to.
Go to SLNT and they've got the best Faraday bags out there.
Once you get one of those bags, nobody will be listening to you.
unidentified
Okay?
Computer, iPad, phones, all of it.
steve bannon
Short break.
We're up next hour.
It's going to be lit.
You're not going to want to miss it.
Export Selection
