unidentified		Stuart, the fear that many people feel about what's going on around them is understandable if you talk to them at a grocery store, a gas station.
		If you talk to them, you understand their fear.
		It might be unreasonable, but it's there.
		The fear that politicians have for Donald Trump is something entirely different, though.
		What do you attribute that fear to?
		I think it's cowardness.
		I think what we're seeing is that courage is contagious and cowardness is contagious.
		And cowards love company.
		If everybody is doing this, it must not make me look like a coward.
		And how many people do we know, Mike, that we know are good people that are in the Senate, in the House?
		All they had to do was get their comm shop to put out a statement congratulating the President-elect of the United States.
		In the defense of democracy, that's a pretty low bar, right?
		They're not charging a machine gun nest.
		They're not like my dad, three years fighting in the South Pacific.
		And they failed that moment.
		And once it became acceptable to do that, once, you know, Mitch McConnell doesn't direct the votes to convict him, but then goes out and gives a speech why he should have convicted him, there's just nothing there in the party.
		And I think it's going to be studied for a long time, but we have to live in the reality.
		And I think that the reality is that this party isn't going to change until they are defeated.
		Because fear, as you know very well from all your days in politics, is the best teacher in politics.
		And that's what's going to drive them.
		I'm curious about, you talk about the Republican Party's failure to appeal to black and brown people in America.
		Let's talk about women for a minute.
		There are no women candidates for Speaker.
		And by the way, all of the candidates for Speaker, this is amazing, all of the candidates for Speaker voted against guaranteeing the right of women to birth control.
		They all voted against reauthorizing the Violence Against Women Act, and they all voted against trying to codify some kind of equality when it comes to wage discrimination based on gender.
		What is going on in the Republican Party around women?
		Those three votes are so out of step with America.
		I bet 90% of America wants to guarantee birth control for women.
		What is happening on that front in the Republican Party?
		Yeah, there's sort of a pattern there, isn't it?
		You know, I think this is one of the reasons that the Republican Party is drawn to Putin.
		Look inside of Russia.
		How many women do you see in power in Russia?
		As Putin says, there's no gay people in Russia.
		And there's a sense that this is a world that is changing, that we can stop time, where men, predominantly white men, like us, are in power.
		And we don't want to deal with this changing reality.
		And, you know, I think it's increasingly unlike America.
		You end up with there's five senators in the history of America that have been confirmed to the Supreme Court with senators representing a minority of the country.
		And all five of those are on the court today.
		And I think that that is part of the schism here.
		You have larger states that are getting larger and smaller states, by contrast, have the same amount of power in the Senate, and that creates a disparity.
		You know, I think there is some hopefulness.
		I don't think younger voters feel this way.
		And Joe Biden's best group in 20 were younger voters.
		And I think when you see how they're turning out, they don't feel this way.
		And they look at this and it's just completely out of touch.
		And it's one of the reasons, if I ran the Democratic Party, I would wake up every day trying to get in a culture war.
		Because they're winning these culture wars.
		You know, how did it work out when they took on Nike and Colin Kaepernick?
		Nike made $9 billion.
		They took on the NASCAR over the Confederate flag.
		You know, the Republican Party in a culture fight with NASCAR.
		NASCAR won.
		It's just a sense that they are not in touch with where America is.
		That creates fear.
		And one thing that Republicans had, at least the belief that we had in President, was an optimism.
		And that you could embrace the future.
		That we're flawed now, we're all flawed, but there's some sort of sweeping vision that could unite us.
		And that has been completely lost.
		And it's an angry party now, and a party of grievance.
		And there's a limit to how appealing that is.
joe scarborough ▲ ● ▼		And I always tell people, if you want to see what Donald Trump's going to do if he gets re-elected, don't think about him lining up people against the walls and having them shot.
		Just see what Orban has done in Hungary, where he's bragged about having a liberal democracy and he's wiped out the judiciary, he's wiped out the free press.
		And Anne, I suppose that's probably what Donald Trump will look for as a blueprint if he gets elected again.
unidentified		Well, one thing we know he'll do, and there are plans floating around that indicate that he'll try, certainly he will try to eliminate the civil service in the United States, public administration.
		And while civil service can always be reformed and we can have legitimate arguments about it, the idea that he could fire everybody And replace them with loyalists, in other words, with just people who are loyal to him and who aren't necessarily qualified in any other way.
		That is exactly what Netanyahu did.
		That's exactly what he's being accused of right now.
		That is exactly what law and justice did.
		They brought in people who weren't competent, but instead were somebody's cousin or somebody's wife or somebody's.
		You know, some party member to run, you know, to run the state.
		And that is incredibly dangerous.
		You know, you just don't know what you're opening yourselves up to.
		And in the case of Netanyahu, I mean, at the very least, we know for a fact that the aftermath of the Hamas raids, in other words, cleaning up those towns and villages that were attacked, all of that has been done by volunteers, including some of the volunteers who were organizing demonstrations, because the government is now pretty incompetent.
		And they were not able to come in and help in the aftermath.
		That's the kind of disaster that we could also face.
willie geist ▲ ● ▼		Jim, to that point exactly, given what's happening right now as we speak in that caucus room where Republicans are trying to arrive at someone who could get to 217 votes.
		They've been unsuccessful, of course, for the last three weeks in finding that person.
		You guys are plugged in on Capitol Hill.
		How are they going to find that person?
unidentified		You'd have to be a hell of a lot more plugged in than any of us on this show to figure out how they're going to find that person.
		My theory from the beginning is it's going to end up being Kevin McCarthy at the end of the day because they're going to exhaust every other option and realize they had probably the one guy who could get most of the Republicans to vote for him.
		But listen, like, he made a mistake.
		Like, power is intoxicating, right?
		And so sometimes it actually makes you drunk.
		The idea that you would allow one person to be able to bring a motion to the floor to remove you.
		I'm CEO of Axios.
		I have roughly the same number of employees as Congress has members.
		We have about 550 people.
		So 435 in the House, 100 in the Senate.
		I would never take this job if one malcontent could just call for a vote and needed five people to oust me from power.
		There's no way you can operate in that.
		And so whoever wins this is going to have literally the worst, hardest job in American politics.
		Ask Newt Gingrich.
		Ask John Boehner.
		Ask Paul Ryan.
		Ask Kevin McCarthy.
		It's no way to run a political party.
		No way to run the house.
		And so I don't know who ends up getting it.
		Maybe Emmers, maybe McCarthy at the end of the day.
		But their hands are going to be tied until they kill that ridiculous rule and allow themselves to have some of the trappings of power to actually get your party to do the things that you need to do.
		And like you said, Big things are happening.
		At some point, we have to give money.
		We have to authorize money to help Israel.
		At some point, if Congress comes together on it, they need to authorize more money to get more money and more machinery to Ukraine.
		And you can't do it when you don't have house operating.

		And you see right there, until they are defeated.
		This is the entire focus today in the specter of Kevin McCarthy.
		We're going to go around from Madrid to the courthouse in New York.
		To the halls of Congress, Caroline Wren is going to help us break this down, and then we're going to go and talk about the most important border in the world, the southern border in the invasion that's going on.
		You noticed where Jim VandeHei, the head of Axios at the end, is talking about, where the money has to go, it has to go to Israel, and it must go to Ukraine.
		No mention ever.
		Even the $14 billion is going to go to process the illegal alien invaders in our country and bail out New York City and other sanctuary cities.
		Not even a mention of that.
		It's always Ukraine, Ukraine, Ukraine.
		The National Security Advisor's got a very illuminating piece out about the American empire and about you underwriting it.
		With your tax dollars, your pension fund, equity, and also the blood of your sons and daughters on foreign battlefields.
		Let's go to Madrid.
		We've got Ben Harnwell.
		Ben, a 7,000 word piece that kind of lays out the days.
		We have this huge fight in the House.
		Remember, the House fight is to stop Emmer, which is our focus, is a final decapitation.
		Decapitation of the cartel's leadership.
		Never been done before in American history.
		But the cartel wants the forever wars.
		The cartel needs the forever wars.
		And the cartel needs MAGA to finance the forever wars.

		I'm live here from the airport in Madrid, about to return to Rome.
		There's this story here which you mentioned.
		It's the cover story of Foreign Affairs, which is probably the most influential and most important foreign policy review magazine in the world.
		It carries a lot of weight.
		All the elites read it.
		And in the story, as you mentioned, the cover article for this edition by Jake Sullivan, you know, the War Room's favourite Pencil Next Strategist.
		In it, he makes two absolutely astounding claims.
		Now, before I just go into this, I just want to set the frame here for the War Room Posse.
		This is really the elites, the globalist elites, asking for a mandate to start Now, to finance the latest forever war.
		So here are the two takeaway excerpts from this article, Steve.
		The first one is, he says here that America needs, and I'm going to say this very, very slowly, it's a very short sentence, but it's important, absolutely crucial for the understanding of what this failing administration is trying to do.
		It says America needs a sustained sense of confidence.
		Here are the key words.
		Capacity to out-compete any country.
		It's there in black and white, Steve.
		They just want money, money, money to pursue one war after another.
		That's what it means by capacity to out-compete any country in the world.
		Whether that's the second most powerful nation, China, all the way down.
		Whether we're talking about Ukraine or we're talking about the Holy Land, they want as much money as possible to out-compete.
		All takers.
		Now, Steve, the other interesting article here is, and I quote again, and this is Jake Sullivan, Jake Sullivan again, he says, with the election of Donald Trump, the United States had a president who believed that its alliances were a form of geopolitical welfare.
		That's an astonishing claim, because any neutral observer of the Trump administration could see quite clearly that here was an administration dictating the agenda.
		Here we saw world leaders waiting to see what Donald Trump was going to say, what he was going to do, because they were interested in knowing what the White House thought of any international consideration.
		Right now, under the Biden regime, Steve, there is just a dithering sense of weakness, and you can see the chaos slowly unfolding right throughout the world.
		I have two other developments which are related to this, Steve, if I might quickly sneak them in, because you're talking about the chaos right now as the Uniparty seeks at all costs to get anybody, anybody at all, into the Speaker's chair who's not going to put America first.
		There are two very important developments here in Europe, Steve.
		And this is from the Financial Times yesterday.
		I haven't sent it through.
		Excuse me.
		But this is an article from the Financial Times yesterday.
		I read the headline.
		It says, new leftist anti-immigration party to challenge Germany's far right.
		This is a story how a German politician here, one of the most strident left-wing politicians, Sarah Wergenknecht, has said she's going to start a new political party, which will be a left-wing party, Steve, but it's anti-immigration.
		It's all about the IMD being sort of crypto-fascist and running to the Third Reich because of its anti-immigration policy.
		This is now absolutely exposed as being sheer opportunism.
		This is the agenda that the War Room has been setting for the last four or five years, now being adopted by the left.
		There's a similar story, Steve, and I'll close with this.
		Emmanuel Macron, the French president, the number one globalist in the European Union, has said that France is willing to break the European Convention of Human Rights in order to send illegal immigrants back to their own countries.
		Steve, I'll continue after the break.
		These are two very important stories.

		The left wing takes on the anti-immigration, anti-invasion in Germany and Macron is going to ship them home.

		We're trying to set the frame today of this historic vote and remember the reason this historic And President Trump retweeted last night Laura Loomer's amazing interview here in her investigative report on Emmer and Emmer working for George Soros and his left-wing organizations.
		Also social conservatives have come out overnight and really thrown down hard on Emmer.
		Another development is that the Democratic Party has said that they will work, they'll game the system.
		They will have certain people not show up if Emmer doesn't have enough votes.
		This is how much they want Emmer.
		This is how much they consider Emmer a Democrat.
		So it's a, you know, Emmer is never Trump, we're never Emmer.
		Quite simple.
		So we'll see how this plays out.
		We'll go through the rules and all that when Caroline gets in.
		Very important, this piece by Jake Sullivan.
		The two things Ben brings up, Harnoor brings up, the Al-Khampid, part of that also is code that the Chinese Communist Party They're not at war with us with unrestricted warfare.
		There's still this fantasy by the collaborators, many of whom, you know, like the Sequoia Capitals, the Larry Finks, the Ray Dalios, the Paymasters on Wall Street, to the Uniparty and the Jake Sullivans, that the Chinese Communist Party is not at war with us, that we have to out-compete them.
		That this is not going to be a struggle against them.
		That we have to out-compete.
		All this is about competition.
		We can keep the same system.
		We can still allow them.
		We can finance them.
		We can underwrite them.
		We just have to have more hustle.
		You have to hustle better as a ball player.
		And of course, Ben's right too.
		You've got to be all over the world, putting resources in everywhere except the United States of America.
		So we've got to out-compete.
		The second gets to the heart of the matter.
		This is when you hear Milley say, well, Trump came in and he didn't like, you know, the postwar international rules based order.
		When Jake Sullivan and you see, you know, Avril Stavridis and all these airheads on MSNBC talking about, oh, NATO and the alliances.
		Trump said something very profound and very straightforward, and we're going to execute this even more in the second term, is that these are supposed to be alliances.
		What they become is protectorates.
		Western Europe is a protectorate.
		You see that in Ukraine.
		Right now, they're coming back to you.
		And the reason they got to get a speaker in, Jim Vanderhay said it, because we got to get more money to Ukraine.
		We need to get more money to Ukraine.
		You need to get 60 to 80 billion dollars to Ukraine immediately.
		Why?
		Ukraine is part of the new European protectorate of the United States of America, just like the Gulf Emirates are a protectorate of the United States of America.
		Obviously now, Israel is a protectorate of the United States of America.
		So, this is what Trump said.
		He says, hold it, the theory of this case is what happened in World War I. World War I, all these guys went into it, they slept, they were sleepwalking into this conflict.
		of really the collapse of the aristocracy of Europe, from Russia all the way to England, right?
		With stops in Germany, in Italy, and in France, all of it.
		And people found out, particularly English found out pretty quickly, these alliances really not just bogged them down, but dragged them into conflicts and metastasized conflicts that they never, that people never even envisioned would happen.
		A lot of these were secret deals.
		Remember, this is one of the things United Nations, you can't have these secret alliances anymore.
		This is our whole hammer that we hammered, the Vatican, all the time.
		How do you have a secret deal with the Chinese Communist Party?
		What President Trump says very quickly is that, hey, America first, America interest first.
		Would that make sense where you're actually a real ally and that means pulling your weight and we're working for a common mission?
		So you'll never get a better ally than the United States.
		But we don't need protectorates.
		And particularly, we're out of the business of protecting the wealthy in Switzerland, in Germany, in Tuscany, in Florence, in the south of France.
		You go over there.
		There's a ton of what?
		The Cotswolds, right?
		The West End of London, Belgravia, that's now got all Arab and Russian oligarch and Ukrainian oligarch money.
		Remember, the people in the world are laughing at you.
		They're laughing at you because your elites are funding them and funding them as protectors.
		They're taking your money, skimming it off the top, living in the south of France, and you're slaving away with no health care, no pension.
		Right?
	Working two and three jobs.
	Sixty-seven percent of you can't make ends meet, right?
	Living paycheck to paycheck.
	They're laughing at you.
	You know why they're laughing at you?
	Because the elites in this country, the Jake Sullivan's of this country, the elites of this country, think you're nothing but trash.
	They treat you like trash.
	And Donald Trump was the one guy who said, hang on for a second.
	All these alliances and the Atlantic Council, you go to all these big dinners, you have all these big meetings in Munich and, you know, all over the world.
	You got the Club of Rome, you got, you know, the Bilderberg Group, you got the World Economic Forum, you got all kind of guys thinking great thoughts, talking big talk.
	But you can't protect any of it.
	It's protected by the sons and daughters from the heartland of America.
	MAGA, the deplorables.
	The ones that have to be formally deprogrammed.
	Remember, you have to be formally deprogrammed.
	Well, one thing you've awakened to, you're the wide-awakes now.
	We're not doing this anymore.
	That's why they hate you, and that's why every day on Morning Joe it's just this complete vitriol, non-stop.
	And particularly as we get, you saw Ann Applebaum of the Atlantic Magazine.
	And Applebomb's losing it.
	Why is she losing it?
	Because the people we have in her all the time from Heritage and other groups, CRA, that we're working already to train up the 3,000 political appointees that will take over in the second term to deconstruct the administrative state.
	They're sitting there going, oh my gosh, these bureaucrats have saved us and built up this kind of progressive America.
	It's so fantastic.

		We'll just start with the Biden 8 to 10.
		But they're going south of the border.
		They're going back.
		And wherever they go from there, they go from there.
		You know, maybe we'll have some flights for folks in the Caribbean or Central America, but they're leaving.
		Okay, they're leaving.
		We're not playing the American imperial game again and allowing our own country to be invaded.

		The Swiss people, the populist party in Switzerland wins over the weekend.
		You've got alternative for Deutschland at all-time highs.
		They're absolutely losing it in Germany.
		In fact, the German left is now saying, we are a left-wing populist party and we're anti-immigrant and they all got to go home.
		And now you got Macron.
		The worst elites in the world The worst elites, I think, are the French elites because they're so snobby, right?
		They look down on everything that's America.
		Now Macron, you know, Mr. Globalist, Mr. World Economic Forum, guess what?
		They're going to break the sanctified EU law on human rights and they're going to send them home.

		Steve, this is the dissolution of the international rules-based order, which they beat around our heads on a daily basis and assume a moral superiority The moral superiority to us that they do not possess.
		When they start now turning around, fighting on our issues, right?
		Issues that the wall-room posse has put number one on the political agenda.
		You know that they're not just running scared.
		They know that the end is near.
		That's why it's so important to hold the line.
		Don't give up.
		Now, in the selection of a speaker to represent the America First agenda.

		Because Germany is now going Germany first.
		France is going France first.
		When I read this story, I thought of one of the most important political meetings that happened around 10 years ago with you and the then Senator Jeff Sessions when he was still chairman of the Senate Subcommittee on Immigration.
		All aficionados of politics know about this, Steve.
		You had a strategy meeting you went through.
		You said, where is immigration on the ranking of US voters?
		It's like number third.
		And you said to Senator Sessions, we need to get this to number one.
		What we're now seeing, not only in the United States, but right around the world, is the success of that initiative.
		And it really shows now that the globalists are on the back foot.
		All we need to do is continue maintaining the pressure.

		They've tripled down on the open borders.
		I mean, they don't they're they're they're they're blatant about it.

		I mean, this is an outright invasion before it was immigration policy.

		They understand that we're fighting back like never before and people are awake.
		But hey, this is this is why folks.
		I want you to think downrange into 2025 when Trump comes back.
		We have a financial crisis because of the debt brought on by the Biden regime and a fiscal irresponsible Congress.
		Plus, you're going to have mass deportations.
		You think that's going to be easy?
		You think that's going to be easy?
		I'm not talking the words mass deportation.
		I'm talking about the actions of mass deportations.

		You see those military age men that we've let in this country?
		Tens of millions of them.

		You think that's going to be easy just to round them up and send them back to, as President Trump would say, a blank hole country?

		But they've looked like they've got a Marine, Daily Mail and other people reporting there's a Marine three star, excuse me, over there, United States Marine, who's kind of, I wouldn't say calling the shots, but very involved.
		In the planning of the ground operation.
		And they're saying, according to the Daily Mail, that the IDF is not ready.
		That's one of the things we're worried about.
		The IDF is not ready.
		So now they're doing this hostage negotiation.
		And Hamas is going to bleed out some hostages.
		They're going to let some hostages out a couple at a time.
		Whereas the Persians are getting a hit in American assets all throughout the Middle East.
		And we're reinforcing that.
		We're reinforcing those areas.
		Doesn't seem to be a clear plan right now, except for the fact it looks like the Biden regime is bound and determined at three and a half billion dollars of this request that's coming out that we must kill is to give it to Hamas, put it back into Gaza.
		So you're going to be building.
		Notice your town.
		You're not getting three and a half billion dollars in your local town to build things up, but you're going to be putting it into Gaza and funding Hamas and letting them steal.
		Remember, Arafat, I think when he died, had a billion dollar Swiss bank account.
		They're stealing off, they're skimming right off the top too.
		As Trump says, they're laughing at you.
