Speaker Time Text
steve bannon
This is what you're fighting for.
I mean, every day you're out there.
What they're doing is blowing people off.
If you continue to look the other way and shut up, then the oppressors, the authoritarians, get total control and total power.
Because this is just like in Arizona.
This is just like in Georgia.
It's another element that backs them into a corner and shows their lies and misrepresentations.
This is why this audience is going to have to get engaged.
As we've told you, this is the fight.
unidentified
On this vote, the yeas are 216, the nays are 210.
steve bannon
the truth.
unidentified
War Room Battleground, here's your host, Stephen K. Bannon.
On this vote, the yeas are 216, the nays are 210.
The resolution is adopted.
Without objection, the motion to reconsider is laid on the table.
The office of Speaker of the House of the United States House of Representatives is hereby declared vacant.
nicolle wallace
As this story was shaping up, I said, you know who I'd really like to talk to?
I'd really like to know what Chris Matthews thinks of all this.
I would guess that it's a little sad, but also not super surprising as a student of these figures and these characters.
Tell me what you thought as you watched this go down.
unidentified
The Speaker of the House is a constitutional office, as you know, who must have mentioned by now.
It's not like majority leader of the Senate.
It's part of the Constitution.
The person needs a line to be a president, right after the vice president.
If a situation is developed like that, extraordinary situations, to take it down a leader is unimaginable.
It's remarkable.
A speaker sort of stands above the crowd.
He's responsible to both parties.
Anybody can go into his office and speak to him and treat him as the Speaker of the House.
And so it's not just another political job, and it's not just a hacks job, I can tell you.
It's a job for a leader, somebody who can pull their party caucus with them.
And I think sometimes it's easier if you're on the left in the Democratic Party, like Pelosi, or if you're Schumer.
Somehow, if you're from one of the coasts, it may be better for you because you're one of the people that might cause trouble in terms of leadership.
I think Pelosi can talk to AOC, for example.
You know, the President, of course, Biden can talk to Bernie Sanders.
They can talk to each other.
It's not like they're from extreme differences.
It's hard for somebody in a McCarthy situation who doesn't have a clear ideology that's recognizable.
He doesn't seem to represent the heart and soul of the Republican Party as it is today, which is mainly MAGA, but not all MAGA.
There's a lot of quiet conversations that go on.
You're not really MAGA in many cases, so people may be hoping for the future when it arrives.
But it's remarkable because the Speaker, you know, The idea that you could bring him down with one vote is extraordinary.
That condition that McCarthy had to set to become Speaker is probably the problem.
To allow yourself open to just one malcontent, basically.
And this guy apparently has a grudge, and he's operating on his grudge, which there's always somebody that's unhappy.
And I guess Matt Gaetz is the one who's unhappy right now.
nicolle wallace
You know, Jake Sherman tweeted that for the last 12 years, members of the Republican House Conference have been at war with their leader.
And that made me think, and you covered a lot of this, Sarah, too.
I mean, Boehner was pushed out by the extreme in his caucus, Paul Ryan.
I mean, it is sort of the mod.
It's not a new news story.
It just seems that they're going to new lengths to punish their leaders.
What's the natural extension?
What happens next?
unidentified
Well, what came before with Boehner, we always started watching it as a journalist.
I was watching him leave the White House.
He had made a deal with the president.
And you get the sense that his chief of staff had just called him and said, we are going to.
steve bannon
OK, thanks, we're going to come back to that.
It's Tuesday, 3 October in the year of our Lord 2023.
This is a day that will go down in history.
For the first time in the history of this Republic, a sitting Speaker of the House has been removed, has been fired by the House.
Remarkable day.
You heard Chris Matthews.
Nobody, this was against the longest of odds.
And this was really firing the Republican wing of the Uniparty today.
They're coming back hard.
In fact, in a few minutes the conference is going to meet and there's already a big clamor for Matt Gaetz to be thrown out of the conference.
For the heroic, heroic walking in to the pit of the house and really taking them all on.
He had bigs, and he had good, and that was fine.
But it was Matt Gaetz versus the establishment.
It was Matt Gaetz versus the swamp.
It was Matt Gaetz taking on all comers, and it was no comparison.
If you compare McCarthy's defense, which is just more Fox, Murdoch News, ridiculous RNC talking points, not even interesting enough to put up, And then see Matt Gaetz's comeback.
We've got a lot to go through.
One thing you know, over there, and remember, McCarthy's going to try to come back.
They're going to try to come back.
There's all kinds of names being bounced around.
What was my, back in, before 22, before the election, what was I saying?
I said that immediately upon winning the House and taking over in January, President Trump ought to step up and be the Speaker for at least the first 100 days.
And to get everything, the investigations, all that, work on the budget, everything.
And of course, as many of my brain ideas, let's say that one didn't get a lot of, got a lot of traction in this audience.
But then, you know, President Trump had this big fight.
I think Gates put his name in.
I don't know if he's ever, I think Gates put his name in one time.
I think there would be serious consideration among some of these particularly MAGA congressmen who didn't step up to the plate here.
I think there would be serious consideration, serious consideration for Donald J. Trump to come back and be Speaker, at least for some period of time.
I think he would have a, first of all, put him number three in line for the presidency.
Would they not melt down?
First off, would the Speaker's fight be the most classic in American history?
I'd like to have the TV rights for this.
But I'm being quite serious.
I was quite serious back then.
I think, if particularly the people around Trump had really talked to me that you don't have to be an elected member, they can take somebody outside the body, because they're talking now about Devin Nunes and others, that you don't have to be part of the body.
Remember, it's a constitutional office.
And I'm being serious on this.
Remember, we were serious about taking out the Speaker.
From the moment he started lying, ever since the debt ceiling, what did I say?
He's gotta go.
He must go.
That was in May.
Was the debt ceiling in May?
April?
Am I ever correct, team?
I think we bled into May on that.
April and May.
I was saying the same thing.
As soon as he did that, he had to go.
Today was Come retribution.
And we didn't do it because he's a bad person.
We didn't do it just for retribution and vengeance.
We said this cannot go on.
This cannot continue on.
It has to be a different way.
You cannot let the swamp do this.
And here's how the swamp works.
Oh, let's go ahead and play one of my old clips.
I want to thank Memphis.
Let's play one of the old clips.
Let's do it.
Get Trump.
Let's get his name nominated.
I think it would be quite symbolic now that you've mentioned it.
Let's vote on 6 January 2022 to make Trump the Speaker of the House.
It has a certain symmetry to it, does it not?
tim burchett
There's a certain poetry to it.
steve bannon
Just saying.
I'm being as serious as this for consideration.
President Trump would have to have some congressman put his name in, but for consideration.
Because right now the knives are going to be out.
Somebody that could come in and actually bang heads and say, okay, we're going to get organized.
No more games.
You know, Trump's famous.
No more games.
And let's get on with it.
But for serious consideration, for this audience, remember, You, the Hobbits, the Deplorables, the MAGA movement, the War and Posse, the Cadre, whatever name you're going under now, Grassroots, the Tea Party, you get mocked and ridiculed a lot.
You get mocked and ridiculed a lot.
The show gets mocked and ridiculed.
I do.
Hey, this is the business we've chosen, right?
This is the business we've chosen from the Godfather, Lee Strasberg.
Was it Hyman Roth?
The character Hyman Roth.
Michael, this is the business we've chosen.
But when we do something, we're quite serious about it.
Your task and your purpose.
This achievement today by this audience is monumental.
And I didn't want to say, hey, there's one way you could run around, light your hair on fire.
Let's act like we've been here before.
Because we still have a lot more work to do.
And this audience is completely a disciplined cadre.
Right now, your heroes are over in this conference, and it's not going to be pretty.
Newt Gingrich has a huge editorial in the Jeff Bezos Amazon Washington Post.
That's going to reach a lot of conservative readers.
That's a paper that, I mean, we subscribe to it because we have to, so you don't have to.
Not a lot of people.
He's speaking to the swamp there.
He's speaking to the lobbyists.
And Newt Gingrich says that Matt Gaetz should be terminated, and that's before this happened.
That's just for even mentioning it.
Even bringing it up and even putting the motion out there.
This is before turfing out Kevin McCarthy.
He wants him gone out of the conference.
The conference is going to meet in a few minutes.
I think it's been pushed back to 645.
We're going to try to get some inside baseball from there.
This is going to be quite ugly.
This is going to be ugly tonight.
This is going to be, don't think there's going to be, they're not going to have the champagne out.
They're going to come in viciously.
You can see the way McHenry banged that gavel down there.
He and Graves, because they understand they got fired.
All, all the, all the, the whole gang around McCarthy all gets swept aside now.
All get removed.
And they go back to being congressmen, but they're removed from essentially power.
They're not in leadership anymore, which has massive power here in the, in the imperial capital.
I think that as people think it through, for your consideration, we should think about President Donald J. Trump and people go, oh, this is bad and he's a bomb thrower, he's a chaos agent.
I actually think if you want to get people organized and on the same page, the Keebler elves are finished.
Junkin's not going to happen.
We're going to make sure of that.
Junkin is not going to, we're going to ensure that he does not.
He'll pose a bigger threat than President Trump as DeSantis.
They're going to try, but it's not going to be real.
So given that Trump is essentially the nominee, who better to bring this party together and to do it now?
They said, well, we can lose the house.
unidentified
We did.
steve bannon
Let's bring it together now.
Let's bring it together now.
I was very serious about in January.
And if they had taken our advice in January, we wouldn't be where we are today.
Number one, you would have never had that debt deal.
Impossible.
Impossible.
And you would have had real investigations.
You would have had real impeachments underway.
I actually think Merrick Garland and Mayorkas and Chris Wray would have been the first three.
But you would have been on point.
In fact, Grace and Mo, I want everybody in the chats tonight to get put out, give me, I want to be able to look at the chats after, which I normally do when I come, when I finish.
I want everybody in the chats to be putting up, what do you think is a good idea or not?
There's others out there.
I mean, I think that Nancy Mace has to be under consideration, right?
She was not, I mean, she straddles both camps.
Her vote today was historic.
You gotta give Nancy Macer due.
And I realize she does not have a deep bench of fans in the war room.
And I understand that.
But today, she really, I mean, she went out on a limb.
They are coming for everybody that did that.
All of the hard eight.
And they may throw a little in for the other three.
That's what I'm saying.
Hey, if you voted to put the motion before the House, Corey and Sparch, you might as well have gone on in.
In for a dime, in for a dollar.
Because they're going to come after you anyway.
There's a conference tonight.
I think they're going to get a battle plan of when they start.
And I think the speaker's votes could start tomorrow.
McHenry is the president pro tem.
Historic day.
So what do we know?
What we know is that what started the other day and Matt Gaetz and a lot of people say, Oh, Matt Gaetz.
Matt Gaetz is very strategic.
He's a very smart young man.
And I think you saw today.
Historic his performance and people don't understand under pressure on live to be able to collect your thoughts and speak like he does and always have smart comebacks.
And look at the guys, which are all great.
Remember, all these guys have been in state legislatures.
They've been all over.
Many have been in Congress forever.
Look how crisp his arguments are.
Look how on point.
I think you saw a potential, and they say governor of Florida, but that's a potential years down range.
That's what a president's made of.
That's presidential timber.
Think about if we had something like that on the world stage.
I mean, Trump comes in like a hammer.
He comes in like a force of nature.
Matt Gaetz has got a different style.
But that is what he did today was historic and impressive.
unidentified
Let me play.
steve bannon
I got a lot to go through.
The conference is about to start.
There's Don Bacon and for folks out in Nebraska.
Okay, here's your chance.
I know everybody's done a ton of work.
Right.
But we still have so much more to go.
I just want to make sure everybody emphasizes and people I'm already getting blown up.
Why are you not more celebratory?
It's, you know, like in football, when he sees end zone things, act like you've been here before, because we have, we've had, we've had huge victories and we know we have a much hard work ahead.
And in one regard, A failed speakership is not good for us, but it had to happen because the failure was just perpetuating everything.
I told you one thing I committed to you the other day on Saturday when we left the show.
I said, I think Friday and Saturday, I said, what will the next 72 hours will show you is who you're governed by, who you're really governed by.
That's why that vote today is very important.
And if your person is not on there, is not on the list of the hard eight, They owe you a conversation, and you've got to tell them first off, so call the number 202-225-3121, or get their local number at the local office.
And you have to tell them, okay, stop.
I heard the debate.
You're not going to give me that.
I don't want to hear it's the most successful.
I'm from the war room posse.
I know what the facts are.
I'm not prepared to be spun and asked them directly, why did you vote like you did?
Just tell me why.
You're donors.
You need the money.
You gotta pay for re-election.
What is it?
It can't possibly be what you put up in the defense.
They didn't even believe it.
One of the best parts of it, they had three people in a row, and they're saying this, and he gets up and says, you know, it's interesting.
The last three people in a row all voted for the debt deal.
If you voted for the debt deal, if you're not one of the 70 or 72, you have zero street cred.
you have zero street cred. Zero.
Today was a historic day brought about by your hard work.
But we have so much farther to go.
unidentified
202-225-3121.
steve bannon
Absolutely historic.
I want to play a very disturbing story, Kim, but this type of pressure, when I say you don't realize what they're doing behind the scenes, they're doing everything to these people.
They're trying to crush them.
They're trying to destroy them.
They're telling them, hey, your professional career got you here.
You came up as a politician through the ranks.
It's going to be over.
If you don't play ball, it's going to be over.
Do we have Bert yet?
Yeah, let's get Tim Burchard.
Just tell me when you're ready.
Okay?
Let's play Tim Burchard.
Very disturbing story.
Jake Tapper brought it up today.
We haven't gotten to the bottom of it yet, but let's go ahead and play it.
jake tapper
I want to get some clarity on something you said as you were going into the House chamber.
You said you were deciding on how to vote, whether to side with your friend Kevin McCarthy or your conscience, but that he called you and he said something that, in your view, belittled your faith because you were preying on how to vote.
Can you explain how that conversation went?
tim burchett
Yeah, he just basically said something that I thought belittled me and my belief system.
That pretty much sealed it with me right there.
I thought that showed the character of the man.
I wanted to listen to him.
I wanted to talk to him.
I wanted to do it a long time ago.
I was wanting to do it while we were I want Congress to talk about the six weeks we were on break from August through the first two weeks in September.
And yet, I said to him during the conversation, I wish you hadn't waited until right now to call me.
jake tapper
Yeah, that's odd.
You know, members of Congress or political leaders, Americans in general, saying that they're going to prey on something is a fairly common thing to say.
What did he say?
tim burchett
It's not just me.
You know, I'm not just saying that.
I mean, I do.
I sweat over these issues.
I worry about the single moms working two jobs in my district and that we're taking in five trillion and we don't have the discipline and we spend $7 trillion.
You know, I worry about that and the decreasing value of the dollar.
I talked about how the shutdown of three or four days would have been terrible on working folks but it would have been worse if our whole system collapsed.
And I just can't get this conference to understand that we are going off a cliff financially.
We were downgraded for the first time, or second time, I think, and the agency said, really, two reasons.
One was leadership, and one was fiscal maturity.
Over the last 20 years, it cuts both parties.
I was elected to do that, to be fiscally responsible, and dadgummit, that's what I'm going to do.
jake tapper
So, who do you think might have the votes to be Speaker of the House?
Because in order for you to proceed on a mature fiscal path, as you're saying, you need a leader.
Tom Cole, Tom Emmer, Steve Scalise, who do you think might have the votes to lead your party and the House?
tim burchett
All three of those would be excellent choices, and I think they can do an excellent job.
They're honorable men, to me at least, and they've never openly mocked me anyway, and they sure as heck have always kept their word to me.
And there's several others that have whispered in my ear during all this, and of course I don't want to out them.
I understand that they have to keep their secrecy about them, but there are several milling around that are very interested in doing this.
Mark Green from Tennessee is somebody that people have been talking about.
So there are several out there that people are talking about.
jake tapper
I'm sorry, but I just find this so shocking.
unidentified
What exactly did he say to mock your faith, sir?
tim burchett
It really doesn't matter.
It was just the fact that I had publicly stated on your station, I think this morning, that I was praying about it and I was, you know, I had two paths to go.
Either go with my friend or go with my conscience and I was praying that God would tell me what to do, which he does.
You know, my daddy fought in the Pacific in the Second World War and he talked about prayer a lot and we were The Birchetts are praying people, and so I ask God to show me what the right thing to do is.
And I'm not proselytizing to you.
I'm not trying to save your soul, but that's the path I go down on a lot of bills.
I pray for my wife.
I pray for my daughter.
I pray for my enemies.
I pray for the Speaker.
I pray for this President.
You know, and when things come up, I pray for his son.
And as a Christian, that's what I'm supposed to do, but when someone mocks me like that and mocks my religion, and honestly, the Bible's pretty clear about God being mocked, so that's what sealed it right there for me.
I said, this is not the quality or the character of person that I want as Speaker of the United States.
jake tapper
Yeah, I can't understand that at all.
Do you expect that before you go to bed tonight, sir, that you'll have a new speaker?
tim burchett
I have no earthly idea, brother.
I do not know that.
If you know that, you're a bigger insider than I thought you were.
jake tapper
Thanks for coming on, sir.
Good to see you.
tim burchett
Thank you, brother.
It's always a pleasure.
unidentified
All right.
jake tapper
Let's talk this over.
steve bannon
You see the pressure they're under?
God shall not be mocked.
God shall not be mocked, and he's certainly not going to be mocked, by the Uniparty DC cartel.
Because we're going to jam them up, and we jammed them up today, and they hate it.
You already see the text with Dan Crenshaw.
Hey, for all the Forever War Ukraine set, I'm taking taxpayer hard-working MAGA money and funneling it over to Zelensky and the rest of the oligarchs.
That day is over, baby!
How about this?
Okay, here's what we're going to do in Ukraine.
So I got my thumbs up or thumbs down.
Okay, what is it?
What is it?
What is it?
unidentified
Oops.
steve bannon
It's that.
Nothing.
Let's go back to the Godfather.
No, Senator.
In fact, I think you'll pay the gambling.
You'll pay the license.
For the Corleone family.
Nothing.
Zero.
You got crushed today, Dan Crenshaw.
So go wander away.
No money for your forever wars in Ukraine.
Zero.
We're not interested.
Crenshaw, you're from Texas.
Don't you want border security?
And not H.R.
unidentified
2.
steve bannon
And not H.R.
2 minus E-Verify, which is a nothing burger.
Aren't you concerned about the southern border?
I know you're doing the James Bond things.
You're jumping out of planes.
You got all these cutesy commercials.
I'm talking about, this was the hard work, Crenshaw.
You guys should learn about hard work.
Today, the defense of McCarthy was pathetic.
That's the best you can bring.
I think we got to, what I want to do is cut in, just take out everything and just jam that together.
I think it went almost for an hour.
I got to figure out when to play it.
And we'll cut out all the nice, maybe down to 30 or 40 minutes.
Good, bigs, and particularly Gates, brought the receipts and they brought the heat.
And the McCarthy thing, which is more, I thought I was watching Fox and Friends.
I thought I was watching guys on the white couch just bouncing up and down.
He's the most successful speaker ever.
He's done everything.
He's committed these, look at this, these committees.
Where's weaponization?
Where's the COVID committee?
Where's the Wuhan lab committee?
Where's the CCP committee?
You're out talking great thoughts.
Geostrategic?
No.
Where is it?
Where's all of it?
Where's oversight?
What have you done oversight on?
Where's the impeachment?
Where's judiciary?
unidentified
Where are the subpoenas?
steve bannon
We're in October!
I'm calling you out.
This is inside baseball.
The lawyers for McCarthy won't let him subpoena anything because they hate President Trump.
They're trying to make sure Yunkin gets launched.
Why did you go to a 47-day?
When was 47 days ever mentioned?
Why 47 days?
Why the middle of November?
Why?
Why is that?
You just need 30.
Why 47 days to get past the elections in Virginia?
Because Yunkin's your boy.
Mr. Red Vest.
The Red Vest Conference, where they're all going to sit there, all the Trump haters, hating on Trump.
I really want to thank, this is a day for us to thank the Birch Gold team, really to help us put together over the last two years the end of the dollar empire.
Today was a day of action to stop that.
To say, no, we're not going to do this madness anymore.
We're going to do these appropriations bill.
We're going to do them single subject.
We're going to debate them.
This is where we're going to get the massive cuts.
You learn this in the debt trap part three.
We got part four out now about the executive order, the emergency executive order that changed the course of American economic history is never talked about.
That'd be the assassination of our prosperity that was in Camp David over an August weekend in 1971.
End of the Dollar Empire.
Go to Birch today, talk to them about all the options they've got for gold and other precious metals in your portfolio.
Horrible day on Wall Street Day, and it's not because we removed McCarthy.
It's because of what McCarthy failed to do with Biden for the destruction Of the American financial and economic system.
Paybacks are hell, Garrett Graves.
Paybacks are hell, Mr. Bowtie.
I know you threw a little hissy fit at the end.
You mad?
Are you mad?
McHenry, are you mad?
You're mad, right?
That's where you hit the thing.
You're mad?
Good.
You're gonna get a lot madder, right?
How about this, McHenry?
How about Trump for Speaker?
Does that make the DC cartel mad?
How about Trump for Speaker of the House?
Why not?
Why not?
Couldn't do any worse job than you guys are doing.
Might bang a few heads and get some good order and discipline up there.
What do you think?
It'd be worth it just to see the left melt down, wouldn't it?
Like the TV rights for his first time he took the gavel?
From McHenry?
Short commercial break!
We'll be back in the warm in just a moment.
unidentified
Good to go.
He could have gotten some Democrats to vote to keep Kevin and Kevin McCarthy in there.
jake tapper
Just for the sake of stability?
unidentified
For the sake of stability, to punish Matt Gaetz and the sort of craziness stuff.
But they can't go on the record.
I mean, they can't publicly be seen to doing that.
But I also don't think Nancy Mace would have voted for it.
I don't think maybe some of the other ones who voted to oust McCarthy would have done it because they want the credit.
for having done it.
And if it's a secret ballot, the risk of, you know, what's the point of it, other than to go out and say that you did it?
And this is one of the areas where, again, the incentives, because of social media, because of cable news, because of small donors, because of all sorts of things, the incentives reward all of the people who set their hair on fire and punishes moderates who try to govern.
And if you had a secret ballot, I think you'd actually empower those people and punish and deter the crazy.
jake tapper
It's become a cliche in this town, Democrats in disarray, or Dems in disarray, right?
Because literally for decades, that has been something that happened.
I have to say, The transformation of leadership in the House from Pelosi, Hoyer, Clyburn to Hakeem Jeffries and Aguilar and Clarkson?
Clark.
And Clark.
Those three.
Well, obviously, I'm still getting to know them.
It was remarkable and quick.
It was array.
It was Dems in array.
But it was, like, all behind closed doors.
I don't know what deals were cut.
Obviously, the same happened with the presidential contest in 2020.
That's another story.
But obviously, it was remarkably smooth, at least in public.
They don't even... This was coming for months.
unidentified
Yeah, the word you're seeking is discipline.
I can feel you reaching for it.
jake tapper
Is that what it is?
I think that is something that... It's tough to say.
steve bannon
It is, especially in this Okay, I want to play, I want to play the Graves again.
I want to play the response, not Graves, not Graves.
I want to play Matt Gaetz's response.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is going to go down in, oh my gosh, I got my number two right here.
I'm going to write that down, my number two pencil.
I'm going to write that down.
This will go down in the, this is Daniel Webster level.
unidentified
This is that big.
steve bannon
And remember, you haven't had some tremendously articulate individuals in the house.
It should be like Commons, where you have question time.
It's just amazing.
It was structured kind of on Commons, somewhat.
But you don't really have those debates.
You don't have the thrust and parry, because it's not really a debate.
unidentified
Gates is the best of the best.
steve bannon
He's the architect of this.
He's the one who thought it through.
So also remember, Yes, we've won, but they are coming for us.
Right now, as this conference starts, they're going to try to expel Matt Gaetz from the conference.
That's an active thing, started by Newt Gingrich.
You've had Don Bacon.
And for folks out in Nebraska, you should start tomorrow to the primary Don Bacon.
You should go to every town hall.
You should go to his office and just say, hey, I want an explanation.
Why are you like a Democrat?
Why did you vote for all those people?
Why have you just sat there mindlessly and then you're so embarrassing before you go to the mic because you always get your facts wrong.
You're not a bright person and bright people, you know, you should hide that by not running your mouth all the time.
But Don Baker is one of the ones, he wants to expel Matt Gaetz, the heroic Matt Gaetz after a performance like that.
This is how they think.
This is the mentality.
After Matt Gaetz stood in that house and took them all on, and called them out for exactly what they are, chapter and verse, and didn't back down one minute, was magnificent from the beginning to the end, and then won.
They have the gall.
What they want to do is they want to expel Matt Gaetz.
Well, you expel Matt Gaetz, you'll answer to the War Room Posse.
Bacon and all the rest of you.
And for people in Idaho and Zinke on Montana, for Western Montana, for North Dakota, it is a disgrace.
It is a disgrace and it's on you.
Hey, I hate to do it, but you gotta call them like you see them, right?
These people have gotten, because here's why.
It's like Swiker in Arizona.
Swiker goes and gives these magnificent- we played him last week.
I'm sitting here with the guys, I'm watching this thing, and he's got, you know, every night he's putting the charts up, he's doing- he's in there, he's got these incredibly, you know, he's got these really detailed things about the debt ceiling, about falling off the cliff, and, you know, what debt's gonna do, and the, you know, it's like War Room Evening.
It's like going to night school.
It's war room night school.
It's not quite the Peter Navarro macro class, but it's pretty damn good.
And it's all free.
And he's sitting there, you know, this and that.
He voted for the debt deal.
You got to be kidding me.
Really?
And I asked somebody, I said, how can this guy do it?
How can somebody says because they've never had their votes exposed back home.
And now because of this show and these platforms and streaming services and all of it.
They now are getting exposed, they can't hide anymore.
Can we play Matt Gaetz?
Graves jumps on him, holds the phone up for Matt Gaetz sending you text messages and raising $10 or $20 because Matt Gaetz doesn't take any corporate money.
Doesn't take any PAC money.
Doesn't take any lobbyist money.
He just doesn't.
He's one of the guys that you can count on because he's not beholding anybody.
He's going to represent his constituents.
Isn't that rare?
The rest of these guys are bought and paid for.
First thing they do when they get them up, they say, here's how much money you got to raise.
They're bought and paid for.
Remember Granger, the head of the appropriations, she wasn't even in the fight the other day on the appropriations.
She's over at some lobbyist, you know, cocktail party, raising money.
That's what the system is.
And the system hates it.
So Matt Gaetz is responding to Graves.
Graves is calling him out because he's sending you a text message or an email to get $15 or $20, $25, right?
The average donation, I think $18.
So Graves calls him out after Graves tried to defend by putting up all the nonsense about the debt deal.
All the nonsense and the lies because they did it for the donors.
Here's Matt Gaetz's response.
unidentified
From Florida.
My colleague says we've passed the strongest border bills in history.
Well, guess what?
Look at the border right now.
We didn't use sufficient leverage in the debt limit or in any other thing to actually get results on the border.
The border is a disaster.
Really something I don't think you're going to be campaigning on that you fixed the border.
Second, you said you streamlined regulations.
What the gentleman from Louisiana doesn't tell you is that all of the regulatory reform he was just bragging about is waivable by the stroke of a pen Of someone in the Biden White House?
Do you really think you've got anything for that?
It's a total joke.
And then finally, the welfare-to-work that the gentleman from Louisiana said we got.
The welfare programs that they said that they streamlined with their welfare-to-work stuff, they're actually going to grow!
Because while they did work requirements, they blew out those programs with expanded eligibility.
I'm real glad you guys didn't put work requirements on Medicaid.
It probably would have resulted in Medicaid expansion.
And when it comes to how those raise money, I take no lecture on asking patriotic Americans to weigh in and contribute to this fight, from those who would grovel and bend knee for the lobbyists and special interests who own our leadership, who have, oh, boo all you want!
You have hollowed out this town and have borrowed against the future of our future generations.
I'll be happy to fund my political operation through the work of hard-working Americans, $10 and $20 and $30 at a time, and you all keep showing up at the lobbyist fundraisers and see how that goes for you.
I reserve.
steve bannon
This can do me a favor because this is a defining moment.
It's defining a moment in American history.
I would like if you can just cut where he calls them and says you're taking the lobbyists money and they start booing him.
This is your Republican Party.
This is your Republican Party because he's calling them out for being at the beck and call of the lobbyists in the corporate interest, in the special interest, and not you.
They boo him.
That's all you need to know about these people.
He's calling them out for the mortal sins of this entire apparatus.
This entire apparatus, remember back in January, when we had these huge fights over the speaker, remember all the lead up to it and rules, how arcane it was.
This audience got into it.
That's why we were able to go 15 rounds.
That's where we able to get these concessions from, uh, from, um, from McCarthy.
And people thought this is what these guys are arguing about.
So arcane single subject, uh, you know, spending bills, all this kind of arcane rules, all of it, all of it.
Because that's what serious people in this town, those are the tools you need.
Don't say drain the swamp anymore, that's just another silly metaphor.
Anybody that says own the libs, drain the swamp, we're beyond that.
We're now in a fight for our freaking country.
In it.
In close order.
This is a metaphorical knife fight.
Okay?
This is a knife fight, and they're going to be ripping- look, they mocked Burchett's religion.
They're going to try to expel- as we are talking here right now, they're walking in for the conference.
The top order of business for Bacon and these guys is to expel Matt Gaetz.
Not to sit there and go, okay, we get it.
We haven't performed.
All of our talking points were ridiculous.
What I love is the woman that ripped me off on Signal Not Noise.
She was so pathetic in her, and he didn't even respond.
He says, no, I'll reserve my time.
That is a huge face job to show that you didn't say anything meaningful.
The same with the young woman from Oklahoma, another primary candidate.
Any of the candidates stood up today.
And try to defend McCarthy in the moment.
Truth to me, they're all open for primaries and they all should be primary.
No excuse.
I don't care if you're in leadership or not.
You got to make decisions here.
If you're just going to be part of going along with it, then you're part of the problem.
You're part of the problem.
Just magnificent.
Just magnificent.
And listen, don't think we've won anything.
This is a long fight.
Now you've gone in and stirred up the hornet's nest.
And the hornets are going to come and they've got big stingers.
And they can sting a long time.
What else do I have as far as clips go?
I tell you what, let's play.
I've got to play this again.
Can we play the gavel at 2.10?
I just want a moment in history earlier today.
I think it happened that my boardroom production team was at 4.45, about quarter to five.
This is a story.
On Tuesday, 3 October in the year of our Lord 2023 at 4.45 p.m.
Eastern Daylight Time, the Speaker of the House was removed.
He was fired by the House.
Think about that for a second.
It's been a long, tough journey, and I realize a lot of you sitting there, and particularly on Saturday afternoon, ask Grace and Mo.
I mean, there were some people that said, hey, I don't know if I can do this anymore.
We're losing so many.
Well, you got one today, and you got a big one.
So you can rest on your pitchfork for about two more minutes, because they're over there right now.
They're screaming at these people.
They're screaming at him.
And here's the reason they're screaming is not just McCarthy, you expose them as liars.
Tomorrow, tonight, when you're on the phone with them and their staff say, I don't want to hear it.
I don't want to hear.
I heard the defense of McCarthy and it's BS.
Stop treating me like an idiot.
No, this is not the most successful speakership.
He lied about everything.
He gave Biden, he gave the store away with Biden because he's not smart enough.
He had incompetent like Graves and McHenry negotiating it.
And you gave the second year because the donors told you to give the second year.
Biden didn't even ask for it.
Remember, the woman's in charge of Office of Management and Budget said they offered the second year.
Biden and them were going to ask for it eventually, but they said this will come later in the negotiations and we think we got them.
It was in the first meeting.
Two years.
Take it to 2025.
unidentified
Why?
steve bannon
They want to take the vote out of your hands.
The donor said, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
We need two years, because just one year, we know it's going to be of $2 trillion of deficits.
It'll be massive deficits, because the economy's slowing.
And these crazy people with pitchforks and bib overalls that watch these shows, they're going to eventually say, well, we can cut this, and we should cut this, and we should do this, and we can do that, and maybe should do that.
Oh, by the way, maybe the super wealthy progressives Right?
The same people showing up down at the Cavalier Hotel on October 17th and 18th for Glenn Youngkin, the partner, the guy who was CEO under David Rubenstein.
He's David Rubenstein, one of the worst people on earth.
One of the biggest Trump haters.
Rubenstein founded Carlisle.
And Carlisle is the personification, the full manifestation that everything is wrong in this country.
A private equity firm right here in DC, all former government guys, it's the payment system.
It's the equity program for the administrative state.
And Rubinstein runs it.
And Glenn Youngkin was the CEO.
And made all his money out of China, and then when George Floyd, you'll see, we'll play it later in the week, when George Floyd, the George Floyd situation, he went right to the Southern Poverty Law Center, he's got a big old thing, you know, a proclamation, and they signed it.
This is terrible.
Awful.
That's the kind of gutless coward in a red vest and khakis they want to put forward to run this country.
You think Glenn Youngkin could do this today?
You think Glenn Youngkin's going to be playing Smash Mouth?
You got Rosendale, you got Eli Crane.
Right?
You have Mad Gates, Bob Goode was in there, Hart, Andy Biggs, the fighters.
Right?
Ken Buck joined, that's a shocker.
Ken Buck's had enough of it on the spending, just had enough of it.
He's seen what's going on.
He's no Trump guy.
He's seen what's going on.
Nancy Mays, she's not MAGA.
She's had enough.
I said the guys lied to her.
When she went on The View, she came on here first, said the guys lied to me.
Lied to me so many times, to my face.
I can't, you know, he's a liar.
Can't depend on anything he says.
Went on The View and said the same thing.
That was a bombshell today.
They're over there right now.
Tomorrow, on the show, we have this planned.
And who knows, I think they're going to come out of there and want to go immediately to votes.
Maybe even tonight, tomorrow.
Cause they're, they're going to regroup here quickly.
I happen to believe right now, you can see McCarthy try to roll back in and become speaker again.
Don't think, don't take that off the table.
That is a much higher probability right now than somebody putting president Trump's name into the mix.
Remember the van, you watch these young people's movies today, they got three or four endings.
Hey, we're just, we just got to the first inning.
There's three or four more.
The zombies are going to come back.
The vampires are going to come back until you put the silver stake in them.
Right?
And put a crossover on them.
The zombies, these vampires that suck the blood, suck the life out of the nation.
You think the zombies, you think the vampire zombies that control the imperial capital, you think they're just cause the war room posse.
We had a puncher's chance today.
And we landed.
But it was just a puncher's chance.
Right?
But it feels pretty good.
But just remember, just remember, they're plotting nonstop.
They got the money, they got the media, they got all of you.
Watch Fox News tonight.
They was all Democrats, they just voted for AOC and all this, on and on and on again.
I think that's why Nancy Pelosi never voted, right?
I think she held back because she says, hey, I don't want to.
We won this, right?
These guys pulled it off.
No need for me to vote.
They're just going to, they're just going to crucify me that this was Matt Gaetzema and Nancy Pelosi.
He lied.
He lied from the beginning.
He didn't live up to his obligations under the original deal they cut.
And it's there for the world to see.
But don't think they've stopped.
They're over there right now and they're going to field strip Matt Gaetz and this group.
They are absolutely furious.
Here's what they fear.
And this is why when you call tomorrow, what they hate about Gaetz and these people, you've exposed them.
Everybody took that vote.
We'll go back tonight and I'll try to get it up and maybe get it up on my Getter account.
I'll figure out how to do it.
But I want to see the concise, you can see both sides of the debate.
If you think Murdoch News is TV for stupid people, that part of the C-SPAN was TV for stupid people.
I mean, they're sitting there with these absurd assertions about his great speakership on things that day in and day out we go through in the world.
I mean, you've got to be sitting there going, is this what you're bringing?
Is this the best you got?
unidentified
And Gates is just a bang, bang, bang, bang, bang.
steve bannon
Relentless.
Relentless.
Here's the one thing we know.
They can't match up to us.
We know they can't match up to us on intellectual firepower or our focus.
We got the team on our side of the football.
Now comes the hard work.
The first hard work is to get a speaker and to get on with the program and to get immediately into the appropriations bill and not let them.
We got another big fight coming the 17th of November.
All of my hedge fund guys tell me, I think it's the, I want to say the 11th, the 13th of October, the real numbers from Treasury will come forward.
We'll know exactly where we stand.
And everybody's telling me it's going to be worse than you even think.
And then we're going to be able to reset and let you know where the refinancing is.
Today, the stock market, bond market, eviscerated.
At least, I didn't catch it in the stock market, but it was eviscerated right before we came on air, right when the count was going on.
Eviscerated.
Because you can't hide from these numbers anymore.
I want to thank our sponsors.

If you racked up, I think somebody did the count, all 74 million people voted for President Trump when he won his second term.
That would be in 2020.
So go check them out.
All of our sponsors really appreciate all of them hanging in there and being part of it.
They love the War Impostor.
You guys are fantastic.
We're up on the Lyndale TV.

They put a gag order on President Trump.
So you just gotta tell me what's going on because I got 30 seconds.
