Peace out yo! | ||
I mean, every day you're out there.
What they're doing is blowing people off.
If you continue to look the other way and shut up, then the oppressors, the authoritarians, get total control and total power.
Because this is just like in Arizona.
This is just like in Georgia.
It's another element that backs them into a corner and shows their lies and misrepresentations.
This is why this audience is going to have to get engaged.
As we've told you, this is the fight.
unidentified
|
All this nonsense, all this spin.
They can't handle the truth.
War Room, Battleground.
unidentified
|
Here's your host, Stephen K. Bannon.
What? | ||
Inform me. | ||
What? | ||
To lose again. | ||
I know. | ||
To lose again. | ||
I know they're looking at polls.
No, he loses. | ||
He loses every single year.
And he has since 2017. | ||
So, they're willing to throw out the rule of law?
They're willing to just ignore all of this?
To nominate a guy who's going to lose again.
Well, and they're also willing just to throw out common decency.
If you look at what Trump has completely admitted to doing and what he considers normal, and the way he has behaved toward people, especially women, hush money payments to a porn star for an affair, telling the attorney of E. Jean Carroll, who a judge says he raped, And mocking her.
mocking her in the next debate.
Mocks her in the debate, defames her again, he's being sued again, tells her attorney you're not my type, can't even identify her and one of his wives.
I'm just saying, common decency, is this who you want?
Forget all this criminal stuff that's going on.
If you can't get your head around it, if you really, really think, if you really think it's a witch hunt, you really deep inside think that.
That's, that's you that you have to work with and look in the mirror.
That's your choice. | ||
But do you want this person?
Running our country? | ||
Making choices? | ||
Representing us? | ||
That's a deeply disturbing thing.
They have actually convinced themselves that it's a witch hunt.
They have a guy who stole nuclear secrets.
They have a guy that stole, you know, all of these other things.
And again, well, why didn't Hillary Clinton?
Why wasn't Hillary Clinton ever arrested?
It was Donald Trump's Justice Department.
I know facts don't matter to so many, but it was Donald Trump's Justice Department in 2017 that told Donald Trump there's nothing there.
There's no crime. | ||
2018, the same thing. | ||
There's nothing there.
There's no crime. | ||
Trump kept going back to them.
They just... Donald Trump's Justice Department.
Of the people he appointed.
Jeff Sessions. | ||
The people he appointed.
There's no crime there.
So... | ||
When Donald Trump steals nuclear secrets, you can't go, yeah, but Hillary Clinton.
No, you can't. | ||
When Donald Trump steals secret war plans to invade Iran, you can't go, oh, but Hunter Biden.
No, you can't do that. | ||
But that's what they're doing.
And they know it's a lie.
They really do. | ||
They know it's a lie. | ||
They know the game they're playing, right?
And yet they always... They're basing themselves on the party.
They always say, oh well, even in these op-eds and editorials where they actually take on Trump, they go, oh yeah, but the Democrats.
Oh yeah, but Hillary Clinton.
Oh yeah, but Hunter Biden.
They can never just say, it's wrong that he sold nuclear secrets and no president or former president has ever done that in American history.
It's wrong that he tried to overthrow a presidential election and no president, no, you can't take it.
unidentified
|
Yeah, but all the way. | |
I thought I could take, thank you Memphis.
I thought I could take it all the way to the end, but I couldn't.
You know, I was going to play this one this morning, but we're so jammed for time.
But I did tell my producers, this was a gem.
They're just in full meltdown and you're going to, you're going to hear this.
Think about it for a second.
Think about purgatory.
You're going to hear this in perpetuity because we're going to win in 2024.
It's only going to get worse then.
So I just want to, you know, I'm trying to, I don't know.
So not social, I'm trying to harden you by, by making you listen to Morning Mika.
Unbelievable. | ||
No, it is a witch hunt because he didn't break any laws.
He didn't do anything wrong.
All he did was stand up to the oligarchs and stand up to the vested interests that are running and destroying this country.
It used to just be the managed decline of this nation.
Now it's in a free fall. | ||
And that's why you're after him because he represents the American people.
Richard Barris. | ||
So on a day of a lot of activity, I've got a huge problem with focusing on these primaries, but I think we've got to do it and get it out of the way because we've got to be focused on the general election.
But I'd like you to walk through just a summary of these polls coming up.
But DeSantis has done the reset, then he did the reboot, then he did the retread.
You know, maybe he's getting ready for the retreat.
But he fires the campaign manager today.
There's turmoil in there.
It's, I mean, you can tell it's just not happening, right?
It's not, it's not, he's not getting traction.
And when he came out and said, oh yeah, Trump definitely lost and Biden's a legitimate president.
Well, I think that'll take him down to single digits.
Your thoughts and assessment right now of where we stand.
Let's talk about the primary before we go to the general.
Where do you think we stand?
But you know, and thanks for having me as always, Steve.
But listen, when Jenera Peck was talking to media about the shakeup three weeks ago, this third shakeup in the DeSantis campaign, everyone was told her job was secure.
So they're trying to portray this now as just an extension of the third shakeup.
The truth is, this is yet another shake-up.
Removing, replacing your campaign manager is a shake-up all on its own.
It's not abnormal, but to pretend like this isn't a major move is just getting ridiculous now, Steve.
The comment you just made is a big deal.
You cannot win a Republican primary If 80 plus percent of the Republican electorate thinks 2020 was robbed from Donald Trump, you can't make arguments about electability if major majorities of the Republican electorate believes that Donald Trump not only won once, but twice.
So I don't know who told him to make these comments, but At the end of the day, I said it almost a month ago when I saw those financials, this campaign is on life support.
It's just getting ridiculous at this point.
Arizona, that came out this morning, who told them it was a great idea to attack Kerry Lake, the most popular Republican politician in the state, behind only, second only to Donald Trump, and they got mad at people who even criticized them for doing that.
Now look at you. | ||
Now look where you are, 50 points behind in the Grand Canyon State.
Look, Steve, historically nobody's ever come back from a deficit this big.
Donald Trump's primary lead is massive.
Okay, a couple things I want to go to.
Do we have the Doocy thing on the couch?
Do we have that booted up in Memphis, producers?
Do we have that Steve Doocy thing from this morning on Fox & Friends booted up in Memphis?
Terrific. | ||
I think my standing order is everything on the morning show should be in Memphis, but hey, one day we'll listen.
Steve Doocy this morning, we're doing some on-the-air producing.
It's Steve Doocy. | ||
Steve Doocy is on the couch this morning, and he's hopping up and down again.
He's hopping up and down again, and he's promoting Glenn Youngkin, right?
He's got the Glenn Youngkin thing.
New horse! | ||
He's got the billionaire that says he's a new horse.
Is this now Murdoch signaling strongly that they know the airs out of the the balloon on on DeSantis and they're going to pivot Fox who's been so all over DeSantis and pushing him so hard that actually made him relevant?
Have they come to the conclusion that it's over?
And they see these numbers that come out of me.
50 points down Arizona.
He's you know nationwide.
I think he's down Trump's up by 43 nationwide.
Do you believe Fox has made the decision that it's over for DeSantis?
Yeah, I honestly think Murdoch checked out a month ago.
Peter Fye's out, Ken Griffin's out, Bigelow is saying, you know, you have like eight days to change something or else I'm out.
You know, but these people spent a lot of money and they would rather than admit, most of them, rather than admit that this is just not going to happen, They're going to try to find somebody else.
Glenn Youngkin did tell them from what I understand a couple weeks ago, you know, thank you, but no thank you.
Call me when he's either, you know, arrested for real and put behind bars and he can no longer campaign or when he craters in the polls.
So he wasn't in this. | ||
I'm not as stupid as the last three people you tried to get to do this.
You know, Glenn Youngkin is wise to just kind of sit back.
You know, you can only serve one term as a governor in Virginia anyway, so serve it out, do your thing, you're popular in that state.
But you could see how they were pushing the poll from last week that came out and showed that Youngkin actually had a lead over Biden.
Let me just say this really quick, really clearly, Steve, really clearly.
Nobody's winning the state of Virginia in the general election.
I don't care if Glenn Youngkin is the Republican nominee.
It is possible if everything just collapses on Democrats.
But the idea that you would abandon the only guy who can win the Rust Belt, which is a lot more electoral votes the last time I checked than Virginia.
unidentified
|
Hang on, hang on, hang on.
It's deeper than that. | ||
And this is the clown, you know, billionaire they had on the Fox this morning.
Junkin is a product and a sole product of 100% MAGA turnout.
I was there with John Fredericks and we didn't need to talk to Junkin's campaign.
We didn't want to talk to him.
I'm not a Junkin guy. | ||
I think he's a globalist private equity guy that was in business with China, with Rubinstein, one of the worst guys in America.
That was his mentor. | ||
Carlyle Group is one of the most corrupt a private equity. It is the swamp because it's the private equity firm that's writing the thing.
Youngkin only exists because MAGA turned out 100%. MAGA is not going to turn out for Glenn Youngkin. Only Trump can make that happen. And Youngkin's smart enough to know, being a private equity guy, he's smart enough to know that he's not going to take Trump on because Trump's vote is not going to be there for him. Unlike DeSantis, you thought that he did that all by himself.
That's the laughable thing here.
DeSantis thought he did this all by himself, and we had to read for months ridiculous comments about, well, he's always the underdog, and we're used to being the underdog, and we've made these comebacks before.
You didn't do anything.
Donald Trump did it. | ||
You would have been a failed gubernatorial candidate without him, and you would have handed the governor's mansion in Florida to a down-low crackhead.
That's what you would have done.
You didn't do this on your own.
And hang on, in 2022, the big one in 2022, all of MAGA turned out because they said, hey, DeSantis is Perfectly teed up.
We want to, you know, we want to make sure Florida's red.
He's going to do a great job and he's going to be potentially Trump's successor in 2028.
They didn't know. | ||
If you'd said beforehand, oh, by the way, a couple of months, it literally is going to start campaigning right away, but a couple of months after he's going to announce against Trump, no MAGA would have turned out in Florida.
They said, what are you talking about?
Are you kidding me? | ||
You're, you're Trump. | ||
Trump created you. | ||
And forget about my aunt.
Okay, hang on for a second.
Let me play. | ||
We now have booted up. | ||
The Evercrack production team has now booted up.
They're giving me stink eye, you should know.
I'm not sure. | ||
They're good kids. | ||
They're good young men.
They're fine young men.
Let's go ahead and play.
This is from this morning.
Here's the reasons of port.
This is all information warfare.
I want to show you what the Murdochs are doing.
They understand the first guy they built up is collapsing, so they very quickly want to get another one in the slot.
And I think they've kind of weighed and measured Tim Scott.
They realize Tim Scott's a nice guy, he's a decent man, but he's a little too happy-clappy for the situation the country finds.
So they're going to jump.
Tim Scott is right there, and Tim Scott wants to be the next guy.
Billion bucks to a guy who is not even in yet.
to Murdoch's are sending through Steve Doocy who is hardwired up, told me, and Murdoch sitting on the couch.
Let's go ahead and play this.
Billion bucks to a guy who is not even in yet.
How are you going to get him to run?
unidentified
|
Well he's, he's running.
I mean, he's fighting in Virginia for these elections coming up on the 7th of November.
And that is what the money is for, to help him turn that state Republican.
Don't forget that it was a blue state that maybe will be turning completely Republican center red in a matter of three years.
Yeah. | ||
unidentified
|
So that would be a great accomplishment for him.
Thomas, I read a report in Axios a couple of weeks ago that said that a number of big donors who are disappointed that Ron DeSantis has not taken off and really challenged the former President Donald Trump.
A lot of big donors are talking to Mr. Yunkin about getting in.
You obviously would like to see him run, but right now we've got eight people who have qualified for the debates.
How does Glenn Yunkin get on the stage quick if he's not even being considered at this point?
unidentified
|
Well, he's not going to be on the stage.
He's at this time completely focused on the Virginia elections coming on the 7th of November.
But I believe that if there is lots of people calling for him to enter the race after those elections, then he may very well do so.
So after the Virginia elections.
And then do you believe that he could beat Donald Trump?
unidentified
|
Oh, definitely. | |
He could beat Donald Trump.
He could beat anybody. | ||
He's an incredible person.
He's experienced as CEO of one of the largest equity groups.
And he's nearly three years as governor in Virginia.
Demonstrate his exceptional capabilities in running as a leader of a large organization that, you know, there's nobody else like that.
He's a really good person.
Well, and I saw a recent poll that showed in Virginia, if it were Glenn Youngkin versus Joe Biden, Glenn Youngkin would actually beat Joe Biden, who won the state a couple of years ago.
Thomas, thank you very much for joining us live today.
Did they call Central Casting and say, send another Bond villain?
Send a Bond villain. | ||
unidentified
|
Note to Murdoch's, don't put the Bond villain on the thing.
Hold it. | ||
Is it George Soros' drinking buddy?
Then we got another Hungarian.
unidentified
|
Look, seriously, you got Kissinger, Soros, throwing Klaus Schwab.
Let's throw in this guy.
Another Hungarian. | ||
You know, what is this? | ||
Dude, you are so clueless.
Oh, he's run a great private equity group.
We will shred you, brother, on your private equity group.
Okay, shred. | ||
The only reason we didn't shred you in the governor's race is that Fort Trump and MAGA We put our shoulder to the wheel.
So don't sit here. | ||
He will beat Trump. | ||
He will beat anybody. | ||
They call Central Casting and ask a Bond villain to show up to make the pitch.
This is how desperate Fox is.
unidentified
|
This is the desperation of goofy Steve Doocy.
Goofy Steve Doocy and old man Murdoch think the Bond villain is going to sell the American people.
How'd that play, Richard Barris?
How'd that play? | ||
It played terrible, but you know what always amazes me, Steve?
And I know you know this is true.
Some of these rich guys, these like, you know, these big donors, they are really smart in their areas and in their fields.
And some of them, you know, have inherited it.
They didn't earn it on their own, but they know how to navigate that world.
But when it comes to politics, they're incredibly stupid.
They are very dumb. | ||
They have no connection to the electorate.
They don't understand the political landscape.
Even in equity markets, you have to know the political developments in a country.
In the United States, these guys are totally clueless.
Glenn Young can only won Virginia because The share of the mountain vote, which is pure MAGA, went from 16 to 19 percent.
It was a disproportionate turnout because MAGA came out when some other Biden voters did not.
Even in more liberal areas like the suburbs of Chesterfield, it was disproportionately MAGA and working class, more so than in a presidential election, and it earned him a two-point win.
So to pretend as if, uh, you know, that, that look, if you would have won by like 20, like Bob McDonald and carried Fairfax, maybe that would, I would have been a little bit more impressed.
But gubernatorial elections have no predictive value when it comes to how you're going to perform at the presidential level.
And they, it's so stupid.
It never ceases to amaze me how dumb they are.
That's right. | ||
He doesn't understand anything.
He's an interactive broker.
He's a stock brokerage guy.
I think took the business back to Hungary.
No, but just the optics of putting, and that's the arrogance of him wanting to do it, just putting the George Soros, you know, separated at birth from George Soros.
It's insane. | ||
Please, please. | ||
Goofy, Doocy, please put him up every day.
I want him up every day. | ||
There's a couple other candidates I'd like you to pitch, too.
It's ridiculous. | ||
It's a MAGA tournament.
And Youngkin's smart enough to understand that.
He doesn't want any part of this.
He's smart enough to do it.
By the way, John Fredericks delivered that victory, and John Fredericks' MAGA has to turn out big league.
In November in Virginia for these wins, and if MAGA gets any sense, he's going to use those wins to springboard against Trump.
Note to him, they're not going to turn out.
They're not going to turn out to flip.
Because the House and Senate of Virginia, don't get me wrong, I'm a Virginian, are very important to flip.
But if the thing is, oh yeah, we're going to use that, just like DeSantis used MAGA, and immediately going to flip and run against Trump, then MAGA's going to say, hey, I'll take a pass here.
The House and Senate are very important, but I'll take a pass.
I'm not setting up another guy to come after Trump.
I've seen enough of the Murdochs.
Nonsense here. | ||
And by the way, Jeff Rowe is his guy.
I mean, it's the same guy.
It is. | ||
He sucked all the money.
He sucked all the money he can out of poor DeSantis and Casey.
And now, remember, he's got this whole scam with what, the PAC or something.
They've contrived the money, but it may not be just for DeSantis.
It may be waiting there for Yunkin.
I mean, Jeff Rowe's, he's moving chess pieces all over.
He wants a payday. | ||
Yeah. | ||
He got paid on this one, Steve.
Look at the financials.
And a lot of that money that was, they're basically using the pack as a vendor for campaigns.
And so, I mean, honestly, you can abandon DeSantis at any time that he wants and take that money with him.
So DeSantis is being bled dry.
I think everybody knows what time it is.
We spoke to a donor the other day.
I put it up on Twitter for everybody to see.
At this point, and they've given DeSantis a lot of money.
At this point, they're just patently mad at them because nothing they pitched to them has turned out and it didn't come to fruition.
Wait till he's indicted by this one.
Wait till he's indicted by that one.
And the phone call I got the other day was basically asking me whether or not, can this guy win from jail?
You know, nothing they told me is coming true.
And, you know, there's getting to be, yeah, I mean, at this point, where the DeSantis campaign is, is, you know, you have people like Jeff Rowe, they're just going to try to squeeze as much blood out of that stone as they possibly can.
And they gaslit everybody.
DeSantis himself is apparently now Not listening to anybody.
He's deeply paranoid. | ||
He's tightening the, uh, you know, he's tightening the circle.
It's him, his wife. | ||
And now he's bringing up, he brought on his chief of staff because, um, you know, this is somebody and get this, Steve, he said, I like how he's always on the offense.
They're always on the offense.
All they've been is on the offense, including making an enemy out of a majority of the Republican electorate.
And that's why you're in the position you're in.
There's not a happy warrior in that camp.
It hasn't been the entire primary season, right?
So, you have to be a happy warrior.
Trump's under indictment after indictment after indictment.
He gets out of the car on his way to an event, gets out with a big smile on his face, and has nothing to give people but happy future talk, right?
Not them. | ||
They are just angry and, and it's not, you know, never was attractive to begin with.
He's not a great retail politician.
But if you're not a happy warrior, you don't win people over.
This thing is a, it's a wrap, Steve.
I mean, Vivek just surpassed him and predicted.
This thing's over. | ||
Come on. | ||
Let's get real. | ||
So bad. | ||
Let's go to, I want to go to the general because that's where we should be focused.
Yeah. | ||
Right now, with particularly the economic news, this is why China was such a big deal missing the numbers.
China is in deep financial problems, deep economic problems.
One of the reasons is just drop in demand from the United States.
Of course, we had the Moody's downgrade.
You got the market situation.
Walk now, walk me through the Trump Biden matchup and where Trump should be putting his time and energy on this.
That New York Times poll from last week, I have to mention because it's no longer just Rich Barris at Big Data Poll.
It's no longer Mark Penn at Harvard-Harris.
It's no more Spencer Kimball at Emerson.
This is the New York Times.
They love this poll. | ||
The media loves this poll.
The establishment loves this poll.
And they came out. | ||
It's a nine point swing from their final poll in Trump's favor.
And honestly, Steve, if you look at the demographics in the crosstab, it could be a big data poll.
They found exactly what we found, which is the underclass.
And you were just talking about economics.
I really think this is a big part of this.
And then I also think some of the indictment stuff is actually helping him with non-white people.
In the New York Times poll, the final one in 2020 had 4% black support, which I thought was ridiculous.
Now he has 12. | ||
So there are just these groups going into the general, even though it's still a long way away.
There are these groups when you compare what we found in 2020, the New York Times, everybody, everyone.
There is a massive shift to Donald Trump, even though these indictments have come down.
This last one from Jack Smith, over January 6th, was their, you know, pun intended, Trump card.
And it's not hurting. | ||
At least it isn't yet. | ||
And I don't know when is it going to.
Right, exactly. | ||
Hey, Richard, can you just say- Same way.
Hangover said we're gonna go out we're gonna play Richard Dick Curliss this great country music the one-eyed country music singer from the great state of Maine yes Maine loves country music we're gonna play Dick Curliss this incredible trucker song we're gonna keep Richard Burris with us we got Ben Harnwell take a short commercial break we're gonna come right back all you big and burly men who roll the trucks along Better listen, you'll be thankful when you hear my song.
unidentified
|
You have really got it made if you're hauling goods.
Any place on earth but those Haynesville woods.
It's a stretch of road up north in Maine that's never ever ever seen a smile.
If they buried all the truckers lost in them woods, there'd be a tombstone every mile.
Count them all. | ||
There'd be a tombstone every mile.
When you're loaded with potatoes and you're headed down, You've got to drive the woods to get to Boston town.
When it's winter up in Maine, better check it over twice.
That Hainesville road is just a ribbon of ice.
It's a stretch of road up north in Maine that's never, ever, ever seen a smile.
If they buried all the truckers lost in them woods, there'd be a tombstone every mile.
Count them off. | ||
There'd be a tombstone every mile.
When you're talking to a trucker that's been hauling goods, Down that stretch of road in Maine they call the Hainesville Woods.
He'll tell you that dying and going down below won't be half as bad as driving on that road of ice and snow.
It's a stretch of road up north in Maine that's never ever ever seen a smile.
If they buried all the truckers lost in them woods, there'd be a tombstone every mile.
Count them all. | ||
There'd be a tombstone every mile.
Stephen K. Bannon So, Brother Barris, before I let you go, your recommendations to President Trump and the Trump camp about this, the trap that Murdoch set for them at this debate.
Should he participate or should he do something else that night?
You know, do something else.
I am actually a proponent of debating because people, we ask people, Steve, do you want to see it?
And they do want to see it.
And I remember in 2016, there was at least some polling that indicated it hurt them in Iowa a little bit.
I get you don't want to go to the Murdoch trap and the hell with Fox News.
You know, you don't need to add to their advertising revenue.
But you could call Steve Bannon.
You could call Charlie Kirk.
You could call anybody.
Tucker Carlson. | ||
Go do an event with Tucker Carlson.
Are they going to turn that down?
Just say, I don't want to be part of Fox because the majority of Republicans will totally understand that.
But don't not go. | ||
They want, Steve, they want to see Trump do what he does on that stage.
And it'll be upsetting if they don't get a chance to watch it.
It's entertaining. | ||
For those of us who have been at this a long time, you can't take this away from Donald Trump.
So your recommendation, I want to make sure you're not confused.
Your, your rep, your recommendation is don't give them auction.
Don't go to the debate. | ||
Is that what you're saying?
Don't go to the Fox debate, but, but do something parallel.
You have to do something else.
Yeah. | ||
Yeah. | ||
Got it. | ||
Otherwise you have to go to the debate.
Yeah. | ||
Your, your polling has been pretty amazing when the New York times and Washington posts are following you.
Where do people go to get your, uh, information?
unidentified
|
Yeah. | |
They're copying and pasting Steve.
The best place to go is peoplespondent.locals.com.
They can learn all about the polling and the public polling project over there.
peoplespondent.locals.com.
Perfect. | ||
Perfect, brother. | ||
Thank you for doing this.
All the best. | ||
I've got a cold open. | ||
Thank you, brother. | ||
Ben Harnwell is here, but I want to go back.
We're going to play Raheem back in May and then some CNN.
I'm going to jump in and bring in Ben Harnwell.
unidentified
|
They've known for days and days now that this place is going to fall.
The Russian government's going to call it in a matter of moments, right?
But the interesting thing is they keep talking about spring offensive, spring offensive, spring offensive.
There's no spring offensive.
Let me tell you something.
There is no, it's, it's, and here's the tell on that one.
The Biden government, the Biden regime has gone back and said that they are devaluing the weapons that were sent over there in the first place so that they can do some financial jiggery-pokery and give more without giving more.
unidentified
|
That's how you know that they are not ready for a spring offensive.
In our world lead, Ukrainian officials say Russian missiles hit residential buildings in both the Donetsk and Kharkiv regions, killing a total of at least seven people and injuring more than 35 others.
It's the latest attack from Russia after Ukraine blew up parts of a critical road that linked occupied Crimea with parts of the Kherson region over the weekend.
All this escalated violence as Ukrainians say that they've stopped an assassination plot against President Volodymyr Zelensky.
CNN's Nick Payton-Walsh is in Zaporizhia for us.
Nick, the Ukrainians say they caught an alleged Russian informant.
What more do we know about this woman and the plot to kill Zelensky?
We don't quite know how far this plot progressed and it's important to bear in mind Volodymyr Zelensky is certainly a hunted man by Moscow.
He often goes to the front line to corral troops and so this plot standing out frankly because of the Ukrainian security services bid to essentially publicize some of its details.
What do we know? | ||
We don't know the nationality of this informant.
We do know that she is a woman who lived in Ochakiv, that's a peninsula off the coast close to Crimea.
And that she worked in a military surplus store.
Allegedly, this plot was about the recent visit of Zelensky to Mykolaiv, a port city on the southern coast.
And she was apparently requested in messages that the SBU, the Ukrainian security services, put out.
Allegedly, with her Russian interlocutors, asked about times, dates, to perhaps take pictures of the location.
Now, I should also point out that the Ukrainians have arrested about 29 or so informants in the last few months or so. So this is something that does occur relatively regularly but there was clearly something about this plot that made them feel they needed to publicize it but again a reminder of how Zelensky is someone persistently...
And just hold for the rest, because I'm going to call for the rest.
I want to go right there.
Ben, so Rahim making one of the early calls as you did months ago about the spring offensive.
I'm going to get into maybe the CNN clip where they go into more detail, but let's, let's go with the Zelensky assassination plot.
Why is it put out now? | ||
Is it to garner sympathy, empathy?
Why is it put out now? | ||
They've clearly had other ones before.
They're putting this out that they're blaming this on Russia.
Do you think American security services may be involved?
This could be, I don't know what expression to use, this could be part of the CIA's early retirement program extended towards President Zelensky who chose not to accept the invitation this time around, if I could use that.
Specific euphemism. | ||
So there are two possibilities that would fall in under the track of this not being what it appears.
And the first one is that this is just the CIA.
And that's, you know, Steve, it might not be.
There's every possibility that it's not the CIA.
But we have been talking on this show now for six months about the possibility that there might be a rerun of the CIA's ditching of President Diem in the Vietnam War.
And this would certainly fill in with that profile.
That's the first, in the two-track, not everything as it seems.
That would be the first possibility.
The second possibility, and we touched on this only slightly in the morning show today, is that this is from within Ukraine because President Zelensky has cancelled the parliamentary elections in autumn and the presidential elections for the following spring.
If he were the beloved second incarnation, the second coming of Winston Churchill, as the Western media are repeatedly informing us, then he'd have nothing to fear from the elections.
In fact, why do the very thing that would prohibit Ukraine from joining the European Union because you can't join the European Union if you're not a democracy.
Why do the very thing unnecessarily that would cross off the box of one of his chief foreign policy goals of his presidency?
The EU membership and NATO membership.
Obviously, in NATO, you don't have to be a democracy to join NATO, but you do to join the EU.
Why do that? | ||
Well, perhaps things aren't so good at home.
And then this, as I say, we don't know.
We don't know what the nationality of this woman is.
So this could be an internal Ukrainian manifestation of dissatisfaction.
And then of course the third possibility would be, and this would be in the other track of everything being exactly what it seems, and this is simply an additional Russian attempt.
to remove Zelensky. | ||
However, Steve, that, you know, if you've seen the photos of this woman standing in the middle of two security officials, all their faces are pixelated out.
Her posture, and you know, just Google this as I'm talking, Warren Posse, her posture, is not someone of an assassin who's been arrested by the SBU and is paying for her life.
She's sort of casually, just a couple of fingers, not handcuffed, casually on one arm resting on the desk.
It's not someone who has the bodily importance of paying for their life.
The other thing that struck me as unusual is that if she's guilty of what she's been accused of doing, The sentence would be 12 years.
Now that's very strange.
In a country like Ukraine, right back at the beginning of the war, Steve, you'll remember, Zelensky had made an admission that they were actually shooting deserters.
So if this woman were actually involved in an assassination job against President Zelensky, it would be unusual.
I would suspect that all she'd be looking at is going to prison for 12 years and nothing more in the lines of what would be typically handed out.
in any country, including in the West, for this kind of treason.
But, you know, I invite Warren Posse to get out there and do their research and form their own opinions on this.
Hang on, hang on. | ||
Why would Everything that Zelensky is touching right now is not working.
He's worn out his welcome in the West.
The Brits have had enough of it.
A lot of the countries in Europe have had enough of it because he's been demanding of this.
They don't want to do anymore.
You already know that they're saying they're tapped out militarily.
They really can't, given their own budgets, they can't give a lot more money here.
They haven't been impressed with his whole thing of, I've got to take back all this territory.
I've got to take back Crimea.
That's the, that's the minimum conditions.
Obviously you've pointed out with these articles that there's a discontent in the Biden regime.
They've already leaked on him that they've, you know, at the national security council and even at Biden has had a lot of frustration with this guy.
Why would Putin take this guy out now, right?
This guy's on the downward slope because he's overpromoted.
And I think the most important thing is the battlefield commanders are the ones that have kind of stopped this spring offensive that just started, has basically stopped because the battlefield commanders are saying, we don't have The manpower to keep doing this, the combined arms operation of which we don't have time now.
I don't think to play the CNN clip.
Um, they're blaming on the lack of close air support.
So they're going to be, it's huge.
We got to send jets. | ||
We got to give them air superiority.
The troops are not trained in combined arms, which is quite complex, you know, artillery, armor, infantry, mounted infantry, close air support, but all of it's got to come together logistics.
It's very complicated.
You know, only really the Americans.
The European armies can't really fight combined arms.
Not really. | ||
They don't do the exercises in NATO that you have to do over and over and over again to do a coordinate.
They can do it somewhat, but these are standing armies of some of the major industrial powers on Earth.
That's not this thing is slapped together in Ukraine.
So why, what incentive would Putin have right now when it seems to be, you know, although they say Putin's, you know, going away, Putin's gone next week.
It seems like, particularly with this, the failure of the spring offensive, that why would he take Zelensky out now?
Zelensky is a problem for the West.
He's not a problem for Putin, is he?
No, Steve. | ||
And that is a very pertinent question.
Putin's strategy, we touched on this yesterday in the afternoon show, Putin's strategy is simply attrition now.
He's going to hold a level status going forward in time because he knows that Ukraine can't match a level, the West can't support a level status.
Ukraine's sort of doing this.
Ukraine is sort of Petering off down.
So if all Putin does is keep the current engagement level and He's going to win.
All Putin needs to do is to buy himself time.
There would be no logical reason that I could think of that he would make this maneuver now.
To take out Zelensky. | ||
There is talk that that's what he tried to do in the first 24 hours that they sent in the Russian paratroopers and they tried to get into the presidential palace and then Zelensky armed everybody with black jackets and AK-47s and what have you and loaded up Barricaded the doors with plywood and furniture, you know, in the first days when the presidential guard needed to secure the presidential palace.
That was when apparently Putin had tried to decapitate Zelensky straight off right at the beginning and didn't succeed.
I'm not saying I believe that, I'm saying that that is the standard military interpretation of what happened.
There is, however, and that would make certain logic, There is, however, no logic for precisely the reasons that you've just been outlining, that Putin would do this now because it would generate a lot of sympathy in the West when the West is actually moving in the opposite direction.
If I may, Steve, if I may, if I may ask Memphis to call on the third article that they have in my list, I'm gonna go straight to this now, which is the CNN article.
This came out today. | ||
Steve, yesterday on the afternoon show we talked about how very interesting that CNN had commissioned this poll which had showed 55% of the American public now are no longer supportive of Congress authorizing further aid in support of the Ukraine war compared to 45% that supports it.
CNN has brought out another article today on the back of that.
And here's the headline, and I'm just going to read the key paragraph, which is right at the beginning.
They haven't buried the lead this time.
This is right up in the opening lines.
Here's the headline. | ||
Western allies receive increasingly sobering updates on Ukraine's counter-offensive.
This is the most difficult time of the war.
That's in quote marks. | ||
And here are the opening lines.
Now you tell me, Steve, if this isn't what we've been sort of analysing on The War Room for the last six months.
Weeks into Ukraine's highly anticipated counter-offensive, Western officials describe increasingly sobering assessments about Ukrainian forces' ability to retake significant territory.
Four senior US and Western officials briefed on the latest intelligence told CNN.
I quote, or this is a quote of the analyst, one of the analysts, they're still going to see for the next couple of weeks if there is a chance of making some progress, but for them to really make progress that would change the balance of this conflict, I think it's extremely highly unlikely, senior western diplomat told CNN.
Now see this is the sort of thing that we have been intuiting in the background um without the mainstream media reporting on the facts for the past six months.
The news therefore, because most of the world possibly will be aware that this is really the reality, the news isn't what I've just read out.
It's the news that CNN is winning with this as it's opening two paragraphs in its article today with that kind of headline.
What this illustrates is that the western US mainstream media is no longer Okay, now here's the key point.
Here's the key point. | ||
And this is absolutely crucial.
If, as we suggested some time ago, this war will be won not on the battlefields of Ukraine, but in the ballot boxes of the United States, which is the principal financial agent for this war, then public opinion is absolutely key to that.
OK. | ||
Now, here's the key point.
Here's the key point. | ||
That is a brilliant tee-up.
To win in the ballot boxes, you have to win in the control rooms of the news.
Because this is an information war.
Right now you have this additional supplemental that McCarthy, as weak as he is, has already said, hey, it can't happen because my right flank is adamant about it.
Now that's permeated to the entire Republican Party.
It's one of the reasons that Republican candidates have a tough time getting traction, because people hear what they say about Ukraine and liberty and democracy and freedom, all this.
They understand it's just more neocon talk that got us into Afghanistan and Iraq for 20 years at $9 trillion and 10,000 dead.
Casualties, right? | ||
So people have tuned it out.
So they can't win there.
Here's the key. | ||
The only reason the mainstream media is reporting it is because in this August recess people are getting briefed.
Democratic congressmen are over in Ukraine getting briefed because they've got to come back and the Democrats got to put a full court press And they were shocked.
They said, we got to see some progress.
Walk me through this. | ||
And what they saw shocked them because they don't watch the war room.
They are in shock because they've been supplied this fantasy that the Americans train these guys.
They're all set to go and you're going to have patents break out.
In France in 1944. | ||
That's what you're looking for.
You know, this kind of armored, lead divisions, right?
They're going to sweep around the Russians and take back the Donbass and then go down a southern drive to, you know, Bradley will go one way, Patton will go the other, Montgomery will go the other, and the Russians will be gone.
That's a fantasy. | ||
All those leaks are Democrats.
All those diplomats are all Democrats.
And they're in panic mode.
You know why? | ||
Because all of them have lied and spun this from the beginning, Ben Harnwell.
unidentified
|
Yeah. | |
They've all lied. | ||
They've all spun it from the beginning.
And you know why you say it's now into August and they're going over there and they're hearing these things, right?
But the absolute, I would say the real dynamic here is actually the presence, the existence on the face of this planet of Donald Trump, whether he wins in November 2024 or not.
And obviously, we're 100 percent, 110 percent expect this.
unidentified
|
The Democrats can't be sure.
And the fact that they cannot be sure, and the polls, you know, if CNN is pushing out this poll yesterday, then you can be sure that their own internal polling on these things is like a little red lamp flashing on the dashboard.
They cannot be, they cannot afford now the luxury of being all in.
Biden doesn't have much wiggle room because he's bound himself into this. But the rest of the Democrat party, they'll be thinking, as you've been suggesting, about ditching him before now next November.
They've got this little red light blinking on the dash telling them that Ukraine is no, is not going to win it for them because the country is moving away. Don't forget that figure in the poll yesterday. Only 17 percent of the American public want to see US boots on the ground in Ukraine. 17 percent. That must be.
I'm like shocked. I'm like shocked too that 17% is.
Ben, we got to bounce. | ||
Your analysis and observations and reporting has been extraordinary.
We're going to keep pounding this every day because it's going to be a massive issue when Congress gets back.
Talk to me about where do people go for all your content?
Thank you, Steve. | ||
It's Getter. | ||
Simply tap in my surname.
You can see it at the bottom of the screen there.
Hanwell, that's how it's spelled.
At Hanwell on Getter. | ||
And if you click on this video on my personal profile to watch it, then follow the link through to Rumble.
And I'm going to put all of the articles that I referred to with Steve in this show there in the information box on Rumble so you can read all that information in your own personal time.
Thanks, Steve. | ||
God bless. | ||
Perfect. | ||
Thank you, brother. | ||
Okay, we're gonna be back at 10 o'clock tomorrow morning.
We're now into the heart of this.
There's so much going on and we're going to break it all down for you.
I commit to you that tomorrow morning's show will be on fire like this afternoon's show has been.
I want to thank Richard Barris, the People's Pundit, for coming on and talking to us about the reality of the math that underlies this phony primary.
We must drop all this nonsense, all the money being spent on this primary now, and focus on our objective and our task and purpose is to take back the White House, shut down the administrative state, defeat the Chinese Communist Party.
Only Donald J. Trump can do that.
Okay, short commercial break.
We're going to see you back here tomorrow morning at 10 a.m.
We'll be back in the ward. |
