| As we go to bed about who actually has their fingers, particularly on tactical nuclear weapons in that region, sir? | ||
| Extremely, extremely worried. | ||
| Look, at this point, nuclear weapons exist, warheads, at at least 40 different locations in the Soviet Union, and at least 1,600 of those warheads are operational, meaning they're sitting on missiles and so forth, or ready to be put on aircraft. | ||
| My guess would be, I don't know this, but my guess would be if Wagner's really in control of the territory we think it is, that they are already in control of a sizable number of nuclear weapons. | ||
| Now, you've noted that the military, at a minimum, big chunks of it are apparently just sitting on the sideline. | ||
| So even the guys that aren't completely under control of Wagner apparently aren't responding to national authority, right? | ||
| They aren't... They aren't stopping Wagner moving on Moscow. | ||
| So that's a whole bunch of other guys that control nuclear weapons that are targeted overwhelmingly right now on Chicago, New York, Philadelphia, D.C., wherever. | ||
| So Putin can sit in his office and pretend like he still has command and control, but the reality is Since he's not in control of his military, he is clearly not in control of us. | ||

| If you really believe that this is a serious four-wheel coup, and I do not, It's clearly not going to go anywhere, I don't think, for the following reason. | ||
| If it were a serious coup, Yevgeny Pogosin would need to have some of the factors that are involved in running a state on side, such as the existing political class, which he doesn't have, the army, which he doesn't have, The oligarchs, perhaps, which he doesn't have, and certainly not the people themselves, the Russian people themselves. | ||
| Why? Because as Jack had mentioned earlier on in the show, he's just stabbed, Prigozhin is just stabbed in the back. | ||
| The possibility of a successful war victory in Ukraine, which if the Russian people want anything, it's a quick, speedy, but successful end to this war. | ||
| So the guy is going up against a pseudo-military state. | ||
| It's just 1,000 kilometers in a tank convoy, which is supposedly something like 50 kilometers. | ||
| kilometers long. | ||
| And his argument is, if you believe this, that the Wagner troops had been bombed by the Russians, by his own side, friendly fire. | ||
| Well, if that is actually his objection, he's going to get a lot more being bombed as he takes that 1.1 thousand kilometer road north from Rostov. | ||
| to Moscow. | ||
| None of this on any level makes sense. | ||
| He can't even particularly draw on the support of his mercenary troops because mercenaries are in the war to be paid and it's the Russian state, the existing Russian state, that will pay them unless he actually thinks That he's going to succeed in this. | ||
| But he's not crazy. He's probably had more military successes in Ukraine than the Russian army itself. | ||
| And I don't think that is evidence of someone who has lost his marbles. | ||
| So if he's not crazy and he's not leading a serious four-wheel coup, the question is, what is going on here? | ||
| And I don't know. | ||
| I don't know, but I don't believe that the theatre that we've been presented... | ||
| I know Denver has the video that Trogogin published, I think, on Telegram, of the supposed, it's like 1 minute 40 seconds, which is supposedly the bombing consequences of the Wagner troops. | ||
| And it's beyond farcical. | ||
| There's no evidence of any dead there. | ||
| There's no evidence of any bombing. | ||
| It looks like really badly produced. | ||
| It's like a sub Blair Witch Project type venture. | ||
| And it's not credible. | ||
| I mean, it stretches our belief To suggest that on the basis of this, Prigozhin is going to lead a suicidal mission from Rostov north to Moscow. | ||

| But I'm just saying the New York Post is reporting a mutiny in Russia, Breaking Vlad. | ||

| Correct me if I'm wrong, as you're watching this nonstop, are you seeing any armed resistance at all to what Wagner's done? | ||
| So first off, they pulled their troops, the most fundamental thing is they pulled their troops out of the front line in Ukraine and took them to Rostov. | ||
| They have been, you know, they're the ones that actually took Bakhmut. | ||
| They're the ones that are holding and putting up a huge effort in this Ukrainian, part of the reason the Ukrainian spring offensive failed, at least one aspect of it, was the Wagner group's It would be very tough, I think, to replace those, if not impossible to replace them. | ||
| So have you seen any generals come out and condemn him? | ||
| Have you seen any armed resistance to him? | ||
| And have you seen anything that counters the New York Post saying that Putin has fled Moscow? | ||

| In the couple of slides we couldn't get to, but first I've got to ask you about nothing will make the capital markets more uncertain than who's got control of the tactical nuclear weapons in Russia. | ||
| So give me your assessment of what you're seeing overnight this morning. | ||
| Yeah, well, I put that together on the slide, so I'll go through a couple of slides from yesterday, but it's going to end up around what's called the VIX, which is the fear factor for the stock markets. | ||
| And so I'll go through the charts, but I'll get to that in about four slides, and it all hangs together pretty nicely. | ||
| Yeah, so if Denver wants to put up the first slide, it's the conference board who puts together the LEI, Leading Economic Indicators. | ||
| And on the first slide, you'll just see the leading economic indicators are plunging. | ||
| And so on the second slide, which is more important, it's got the blue line representing the leading economic indicators. | ||
| And look at the middle of that graph right there with that gray recession at 2008. | ||
| Way before that recession, that blue bar, the leading economic indicators is plunging. | ||
| Years prior, which shows it's a good leading predictor of recession. | ||
| So it plunges way down, and as you see at the far right, you see it plunging way below that red line, which is recessionary levels. | ||
| If Denver wants to put up the 10 indicators, it looks like a word salad chart. | ||
| It says negative contributions to the LEI, but yesterday, Steve, you asked what's in there. | ||
| It's made up of financial components, you know, the leading credit index, the S&P 500. | ||
| Which is starting to go down a little bit yesterday. | ||
| And then the non-financials, which is the real economy, right? | ||
| Real estate, building permits, average weekly hours, work, manufacturers, orders, etc. | ||
| And so that's the real economy. | ||
| It's going down. | ||
| Last chart is blue and orange, Denver. | ||
| And here you see the war room populist economic message loud and clear. | ||
| The blue line is you. | ||
| The consumer, the consumer sentiment and feelings are going down into the basement. | ||
| If Denver has that one, it's the orange and blue chart. | ||
| Next one. Next one going down with the orange and the blue. | ||
| Anyway, the consumer sentiment is plunging. | ||
| Your views, your feelings about the real economy are accurate. | ||
| They're going down. But the VIX, which is kind of a technical term, but the stock market folks all know what it is. | ||
| The fear factor on the stock market is complacent. | ||
| They're not fearful at all. | ||
| And so you're scared of the real economy because you have a real sense of what's going on. | ||
| The stock market, the elites are not. | ||
| They got ways to hedge. They can make 10% in their sleep at night right there, right? | ||
| So the orange line is the VIX. And it's inverted right there. | ||
| So the higher it is on this graph, that means there's no fear in the stock market. | ||
| Steve just hit the nail on the head. | ||
| John Lynch at Comerica yesterday, with the markets starting to go down a little bit, Lynch said the markets are starting to sober up a bit because they're starting to look at the real economy. | ||
| Well, he didn't have the overnight news in place either. | ||
| When this thing goes into play, this is a huge shock to that mix. | ||
| And so global instability, the markets haven't priced it in at all. | ||
| It's fairly shocking, the supply chain risk of China and Taiwan. | ||
| Yes, but what overwhelms that is they understand they've got a complacent Republican Party. | ||
| You have a major Keynesian You've got a $6.8 trillion. | ||
| You've got deficits running bigger than the $4 trillion that McCarthy gave them. | ||
| And you've got the Fed that's going to continue to put... | ||
| Now, they're doing some quantitative tightening, but they're going to continue to fund this thing. | ||
| So why not? The punch bowl hasn't been taken away, right? | ||

| The Bank of England gave you a 50 basis point love tap on, what, Thursday or Friday? | ||
| They understand they've got core inflation. | ||
| They're going to try to do something about it. | ||
| I think the feds essentially said it's a problem, it's going to be an ongoing problem, but they haven't done it. | ||
| That's why you're right. | ||
| They haven't sobered up yet. | ||
| The reason they haven't sobered up yet, they still got the punch ball out there and they're still drinking. | ||
| So you can't get sober until you take the punch ball away. | ||

| You've been saying this. Is there any way, now we're in this period of stagflation with limited growth, you know, decreasing tax revenues, do you see anything that the Republican Party is doing to having this massive fight now over appropriations? | ||

| That's why they had this two-week break. | ||
| Is this still all performative? | ||
| Do you see anything that leads you to believe, as you see now, they're going to come back and have real cuts in the appropriations process the Senate's going to buy into, and they're going to get it done by the 30th of September? | ||
| Or are we just heading into another kabuki theater? | ||
| We're going to get some CR at the end of September, leading to this massive, omnibus bill, and just give the Biden regime and the unit party more money. | ||
