| Well, the reason is we're actually financing the other side. | ||

| Derek, first off, I want to talk just briefly about the administrative state and the work. | ||
| That Heritage and organizations like RustVotes doing, the importance of staffing up those 4,000 billets, brother. | ||
| Because the math is the following, ladies and gentlemen. | ||
| Remember, there's 2.2 million government employees. | ||
| There's another 2 million, I think, roughly military. | ||
| And there's 16 million contractors. | ||
| That's over 20 million People essentially on the government payroll, right? | ||
| And outside the military, which is getting more and more woke at the top levels, you know, that is principally progressives. | ||
| Derek Harvey, how important is it now to get the posse to get up now to understand that we got to get through, when we breach the seawall in Normandy, we got to have the troops ready to go up in back of it? | ||
| Well, I think it's job number one in preparation at this point in time. | ||
| For groups like Heritage, and I commend them for everything they're doing. | ||
| They're the intellectual juggernaut for our effort, I think. | ||
| They're bringing organization, they're identifying people, they are working on policy, a roadmap, a playbook for the first 180 days. | ||
| And that includes training for people that we think are going to be eligible and good nominees to go in in these political positions. | ||
| It's an incredible challenge to take on the administrative state. | ||
| So you need training, you need to understand how the rules work, and you need partners side by side across the inner agency that you're going to be able to rely on. | ||
| Trump never got that because the White House personnel system was really staffed and run by Rance Priebus and the former National Republican Leadership, a lot of Boehner people and things like that. | ||
| You can't get it done unless you really have the people in the trenches down inside several layers, not just the prime ones that get nominated by the Senate, I mean approved by the Senate, but you have to go down two or three, four layers across the administrative state. | ||

| Derek Harvey's gonna tell us how Sequoia Capital funded that with your pension fund money. | ||
| Remember, this is like a Greek tragedy. | ||
| That the American people, the working class American people, middle class Americans whose sons and daughters have gone and died on these battlefields from time immemorial. | ||
| It is your tax money and your savings, what you have put aside, and your pension funds and your 401ks, that money that is essentially going to pass for your retirement and then to pass down to your children's children, your children and your grandchildren, that money. It's been used to basically destroy you and your country. | ||
| We're going to explain all that. | ||
| Dr. Brett, talk to me about China and the United States, sir. | ||
| Yeah. Hey, thanks, Steve. | ||
| And yeah, I just want to give a huge shout out to Heritage Foundation and Paul Danz, just a great, humble patriot. | ||

| And so he's a humble guy, but he needs to be thanked and everyone should follow Heritage and that project. | ||
| You always bring up World War II and Normandy and all that. | ||
| It's all interconnected to the economy, and this is related to China today. | ||
| I got a few charts to show that, but the great reason we We tipped the tide in the war at Normandy was because of the United States' productive power. | ||
| That's what it was, right? | ||
| That's not to take away from the heroism of our great troops. | ||
| And boy, did we have great virtuous Men and women in the war effort. | ||
| But I got a few charts if Denver wants to put them up. | ||
| It's linked to the budget deficit and the economy. | ||
| It's all linked together. | ||
| We now are on a path of $50 trillion in debt in 10 years. | ||
| Everyone knows that. We caved. | ||
| The Republicans had leverage for the first time ever to really get something done, and we didn't get it done. | ||
| We have huge debt, $2 trillion deficits baked in the cake. | ||
| We basically have locked in a COVID economy, a COVID emergency economy for the next year. | ||
| Why does that matter? | ||
| Well, the reason that matters, I got a few charts related to China. | ||
| Brookings, moderate, liberal, squishy, whatever, They have an analysis a couple years back with the patents. | ||
| China patents going through the roof, of course, and the U.S. patents. | ||
| Patents are a symbol for research and development, innovation, new firms, startups, technology, and the U.S. is increasing at a decreasing rate, and we're dying. | ||
| That is part of the cost of our debt. | ||
| The debt is crowding out the private sector. | ||
| Hang on one second. Hang one second. | ||
| I'm going to go to break. But they also steal our companies, give them a look the other way. | ||
| Was it $600 billion a year in intellectual property? | ||
| Remember, this is an entire con and a scam. | ||
| The elites in this country, because they're making money off the slave labor of China, are in business. | ||
| They're an active business part of the CCP. And the Wall Street Journal, the big story, the knitted-brow Wall Street Journal, we're now worried, Blinken's worried, that the Chinese have a threat militarily with artificial intelligence. | ||
| I think Brian Costello, Natalie Winters, and Derek Harvey have told you about that. | ||

| Let's go hit it from the top and let's go through your analysis of the debt issue with the crowding out effect. | ||
| Good. All right. So, Denver, just pop up whatever you want first, the debt charts. | ||
| You'll see the deficits. | ||
| The first one I put up just to show, back when we were under COVID, the blue lines are the huge spikes for COVID. And then the anticipated deficits were, of course, way down, forecast to be way down. | ||
| Of course, that did not happen. | ||
| The deficits are staying up with those blue bars, and that's what McCarthy and the Republicans just accomplished, a continuation of those blue bars forever. | ||
| The next chart, just two seconds on it. | ||
| I just want people to see that we are not living in normal times, right? | ||
| Normal times was the 1960s all the way up until a few years ago, and now we are in economic crazy land. | ||
| That spike down is the new deficit, and it looks like it's popping up, but we just baked in the cake the fact that that blue line is going to stay plunged down way out of all historic norms. | ||
| Well, what does that get you? | ||
| If you're sending all your money to the government to do pronoun studies and green stuff and all sorts of artificial disturbances to the market, What happens? | ||
| Well, what happens is you don't get any more patents on the next chart. | ||
| The US has leveled out. | ||
| We're not growing anymore. | ||
| China's patents are going through the roof. | ||
| And as you just said, guess where they're getting them from? | ||
| They're getting them from MIT in the United States. | ||
| They're getting them from the Department of Defense. | ||
| They're getting them from our defense firms and contractors. | ||
| The next chart on patents is even more problematic. | ||
| It shows elite capture at the highest levels. | ||
| 1 % of our firms in the US are doing 50 % of the patents. | ||
| So they're not even creating all of it. | ||
| What this means is you have monopolies, right? | ||
| We put monopolies in charge of our entire economy. | ||
| They're either producing the patents or they're buying them from the small guys. | ||
| How do you know that? Well, look at that line way at the bottom. | ||
| There's the small guys. The new entrants are doing less than 10 % of our patents. | ||
| So we have a monopoly economy. | ||
| China's stealing. By the way, Brookings never mentioned China in this story. | ||
| So that's why you need a populist economics. | ||
| And then the last charts are the most devastating. | ||
| World War II, Normandy, our productive capacity. | ||
| The top chart, that is our capital stock. | ||
| In Macroeconomics 101, capital is what causes economic growth. | ||
| The top chart is Chinese capital growth. | ||
| The capital stock, the total capital they have to work with is $99 trillion. | ||
| It's going straight up to the moon. | ||
| As you see, it's a rocket ship. | ||
| Underneath that is the United States capital stock. | ||
| Our capital stock is less than China. | ||
| Their economy is way smaller still. | ||
| Their capital stock is way bigger. | ||
| Why? Because they're investing. | ||
| They don't waste their money. | ||
| So our capital stock has grown at 15 % over the last 10 years. | ||
| The Chinese capital stock has grown at 150 % over the past 10 years. | ||
| They're dwarfing us. | ||
| So it used to be, getting back to the debt, you could say we're going to grow our way out of this. | ||
| This chart shows you that is not the case. | ||
| We are not investing in our country. | ||
| The capital investment is about a trillion a year out of a $25 trillion economy. | ||
| That is not good enough. | ||
| We need a restructure, bringing the jobs back. | ||
| We need to get real stiff with China and decouple immediately. | ||
| For the sake of Taiwan and geopolitics, much less just saving the United States economy. | ||
| And decouple their access to the capital markets. | ||
| That's one of the reasons the capital stock is up. | ||
| Absolutely. A lot of this is underwritten by the United States. | ||
| This gets back to your... Your central thesis, that productivity, really productivity increases in the United States have not done anything since the 70s. | ||
| And that is that we have financialized the economy. | ||
| So the GDP looks higher. | ||
| All this looks higher. But you financialize the economy without actually growing underlying productivity, manufacturing, the making of things. | ||
| And this gets down to the bottom. | ||
| This is how we become a tributary state as a service system. | ||
| A service economy to service the economic powerhouse that the Chinese Communist Party is building on your nickel. | ||
| This is what we've got to undertake. | ||
| Dave, what's your social media? | ||
| Because I'm going to get Derek in here next and talk about how the venture capital, the elites, you talk about elites capture. | ||
| This is elite merger, right, as Jack Posobiec calls it. | ||
| Brett, how do people get to you in these charts? | ||
| Yeah, brat economics on getter. | ||
| And the most important sub-thesis is that you're not getting this from any economists right now. | ||
| The mainstream is silent on the biggest stories that are affecting your life. | ||
| The border invasion, $50 trillion in debt, China. | ||
| No analysis, nothing in the public, nothing in the financial papers, no analysis. | ||

| The Wall Street Journal today talks about the Blinkins, the biggest concern, the toughest conversation they have to have is the Chinese Communist Party's dominance in military artificial intelligence, that it's going to be a problem. | ||
| How did that happen, Derek Harvey? | ||
| You've been on this for years, sir. | ||
| Tell me how that happened. Well, I would say there's probably four things, Stephen. | ||
| Thanks for having me on. One is U.S. capital, whether it's Wall Street or venture capitalists like Sequoia, are heavily investing in the AI and other state-of-the-art Intellectual efforts, whether it's quantum computing or AI or underwater sonics or anything like that. | ||
| They're heavily investing in all those areas, biosciences, and they're hoping to profit from it. | ||
| Two, we got American corporations, whether they're Apple or Microsoft or others, that are partnering and sharing because the Chinese government, the CCP, requires access to Their codes and their latest data in order to operate and do things in China. | ||
| Three, I would add to what Dr. | ||
| Bratt said. We have 400,000 to 500,000 Chinese students here. | ||
| They are not, for the most part, studying liberal arts and literature. | ||
| What they're studying is STEM. If you look at who the scientists are, remember that Australian study we talked about the other day, where the Chinese are ahead in 19 and 21 military applications in the state-of-the-art sciences? | ||
| I think it's 23 military technology vectors. | ||
| The Chinese lead, I think, 19 of 23 from the Australian Strategic Policy Institute. | ||
| Continue on, sir. Well, the scientists that are driving that were trained, educated in America at our universities. | ||
| The profit motive for our universities is enabling China to go forward. | ||
| In addition, China pays for some of these scientists and others to stay here and work and gain access in defense industry, in Silicon Valley. | ||
| They spend a few years and they then go back with what they know, the intellectual knowledge. | ||
| They don't necessarily have to take... | ||
| They're also in our labs, our American labs run by the U.S. government. | ||
| And they go back and they work. | ||
| So those are some critical areas. | ||
| If we compare this to Russia, the Soviet Union, the old Soviet days, we did not allow our adversary to have any more than 10, 11 or 12, depending upon the year. | ||
| People being educated in our highest graduate and doctoral program in New Darius. | ||
| 10 or 12. Derek, Colonel Harvey, hang on for one second. | ||

| But yesterday CNN announces on an exclusive, there's a massive cyber attack going on as we speak. | ||
| They're saying it's Russia. | ||
| And Russia, I think, Rebecca, correct me if I'm wrong, As powerful as the CCP is, the Russians and the gangs in Eastern Europe may be the most powerful in cyber warfare, ma'am? | ||
| Absolutely. And I address this issue in my book, Putin's Playbook. | ||
| There's a whole chapter on Russian cyber doctrine. | ||
| While the Chinese are very visible in the cyberspace, they are almost like a bull in a china shop. | ||
| The Russians are very stealthy. | ||
| They're super capable. | ||
| They're the first in terms of the processing power, the speed of attack. | ||
| What that means is that once they attack an entity, the speed of propagation of that malware is extremely fast. | ||
| And that doesn't let cyber defenders To defend those networks and evict the Russian attackers, whether it's ransomware, whether it's DDoS or whatever, quickly. | ||
| And another very Russian-style tradecraft is that they attacked Let's say a vendor that supports multiple U.S. government agencies, multiple businesses, such as, let's say, Microsoft, you know, several types of software have been attacked. | ||
| And then that gives them access into dozens of U.S. government agencies and hundreds of U.S. companies. | ||
| So the attack that you are talking about that the Russians have launched today involve a Russian malware that actually compromised not only multiple government agencies, the Russians have been doing it for years, but one of very, very significant compromises It was with the Energy Department. | ||
| What is the Energy Department? | ||
| The Energy Department manages our nuclear infrastructure and sets our nuclear policy. | ||
| This is Putin's strategic messaging. | ||
| The biggest thing that the U.S. government misses here And CISA, the primary, the cyber infrastructure security agency, just issued a statement with which I completely disagree. | ||
| The only thing that I agree with them is that the Russians are behind that. | ||
| But they said, oh, this is just an attack of opportunity. | ||
| Absolutely not. | ||
| The Russians have been mapping out our networks for decades. | ||
| And the reason they're targeting Department of Energy is because they want to signal to U.S. government to stay out of Ukraine, which Russia perceives as its own sphere of influence and strategic security parameter, or they will start targeting U.S. homeland. | ||
| Okay. Besides Ken Buck at six, we're going to have Ben Harnwell and Rebecca Koffler on, and then Posobiec tomorrow. | ||
| We're going to spend a lot of time on this Ukraine situation, and here's why. | ||
