Speaker Time Text
steve bannon
This is the primal scream of a dying regime.
unidentified
Pray for our enemies, because we're going medieval on these people.
steve bannon
I got a free shot at all these networks lying about the people.
The people have had a belly full of it.
I know you don't like hearing that.
I know you try to do everything in the world to stop that, but you're not going to stop it.
It's going to happen.
jake tapper
And where do people like that go to share the big lie?
MAGA Media. I wish in my soul, I wish that any of these people had a conscience.
unidentified
Ask yourself, what is my task and what is my purpose?
joe scarborough
If that answer is to save my country this country will be saved Here's your host Stephen K BAM There are people Yeah, and people who I've read who I think make some very important points On on on different issues who are actually going out defending him saying well
I'll just say Andrew Sullivan.
both Tucker and Bobby represent, it seems to me, something nonetheless real, a deepening suspicion of corporate and government authority.
And then Barry Weiss Says, you can't deny how important Tucker was and is.
Nellie and I watched his monologues, and not quite nightly, but the next day on YouTube.
Let's see, what else did she say?
Just said, he was one of the only people on TV who made viewers aware of the new military-industrial complex, the alliance between big tech and the government.
I mean, you know what?
I can name about five other people.
I want you guys to play that clip again.
I want you to play the clip because I want these people who are defending Tucker Carlson, I want them to see once again what they're defending.
unidentified
Play the clip. White supremacy, that's the problem.
tucker carlson
This is a hoax. There's no evidence that white supremacists were responsible for what happened on January 6th.
That's a lie. We have a moral obligation to admit the world's poor, they tell us, even if it makes our own country poorer and dirtier and more divided.
Demographics. Remember the great replacement theory?
Was it conspiracy theory?
It sounds more like a statistical fact.
Ilhan Omar is living proof that the way we practice immigration has become dangerous to this country.
Congresswoman Ilhan Omar, herself a symbol of America's failed immigration system, can a single human being actually be as loathsome as Ilhan Omar is?
It's hard to believe Didi Montel Williams, you know, is something that's within her range of experience.
Is she good at it? We can't say, but she's done it.
Just for masochistic reasons, can you do it one more time?
So it might be time for Joe Biden to let us know what Kontaji Brown Jackson's LSAT score was.
What else you do in the LSATs?
They think that you should be elevated in America based on what you do, on the choices you make, not in how you're born, not in your DNA, because that's Rwanda.
Rwanda. Rwanda.
Rwanda. We're still not precisely sure how George Floyd died.
Very few unarmed black men are killed by white cops these days.
Where's George Floyd when you need him?
The only job training program this administration has gotten behind in two and a half years is getting black people to sell more weed in the cities.
You never see politicians transition to say, Malcolm X? Why is that?
Maybe because Malcolm X didn't talk like a sharecropper.
Xenophobia! It seems almost antique.
This show, more than any other show on television, has taken an aggressive position in favor of colorblind equality and against racism.
joe scarborough
So I have no words, not only for what we saw there, but also by people who are going out there going, yeah, but at least he wasn't woke.
So we're going to be okay with the most racist rants that I think we've heard on national news in our lifetimes.
unidentified
When I saw the headline last night about what the text message that specifically got him fired said, I had a gasp and then an, oh, right, of course this is what was happening behind the scenes.
And sometimes even I can make the mistake of not appreciating just how dark things can get in some corners of the right.
And what really struck me about that text message show is just the casual aside about It's not how white men fight.
He could have very easily not included that in the text message.
As an aside, it's dishonorable, of course.
It's not how white men fight.
It tells you how established it was within the culture that white people were supreme.
So it's not when you see the misogyny, the racism that he's airing, and then find behind the scenes it's actually a little darker than even what you saw aired in that two-minute clip.
steve bannon
Okay, welcome. It's Wednesday, 3, May, the year of our Lord, 2023.
We are jammed today, and I think because of the good offices of Real America's Voice, we've worked out our technical issues, and we are on the road.
I want to bring in first Darren Beattie.
I've got John Fredericks, Mark Mitchell, Mark Mitchell from Rasmus, so some polling and some mathematics.
John Fredericks is going to jump in here about Tucker in a moment and also has some thoughts about the Biden family.
We'll get to all that. Darren, here's the thing, and I want your perspective.
I really thank you for carving time away to be here today because that was quite important.
Look, we just had HR2 drop last night, the Secure the Border Act, the most thorough border security.
It's really a Trump-level, not perfect, as none of these things are, but a serious attempt to stop the invasion of the southern border.
And we're gonna have Todd Benson and I think on the 6 o'clock show with Natalie Winters to go through a film he's made about this invasion that will shock you.
Also, the complete, the Fed's gonna, it looks like, gonna have another 25 basis point bump today.
Biden's pulling out all stops to bring in Mitch McConnell and the GOP establishment to try to put to bed the throwdown we're having on cutting, on stopping this spending that's destroying the nation in this financial crisis the country has.
But the apparatus is trying to go a different direction.
And what they're doing, and understand who's doing this.
This is not Morning Joe, and this is not MSNBC, and this is not the New York Times, and this is not the Washington Post or CNN. They're taking it and running with it in the way they're framing it.
This is the Murdochs.
Let's be blunt.
This is the Murdochs.
Tucker Carlson, I think, was at Fox for 14 years.
I don't remember. And the gossip in this industry moves pretty quickly.
I have never heard of Tucker ever having a problem, ever having an issue.
With any of the management at Fox, his show was the number one rated show and it set a pace and it actually gave a platform to populist, nationalist, anti-authoritarian, anti-establishment, anti-the administrative state.
That was his crime. And this is the Murdochs.
The Murdochs are going back selectively multiple times a day.
And taking these things from his history at Fox, which they had no problem with, and weaponizing them and then giving them to the New York Times, giving them to Media Matters, giving them to the Daily Beast.
Darren Beattie, your perspective, because I think you have a unique perspective on this because you were kind of the connective tissue from the activist media.
Right, of which War Room's one of many out there that do a just fantastic job.
But the activist media and Tucker's show, with your reporting and the issues you worked on, give us your perspective of what's happening here.
darren j beattie
Well, it's a blatant attempt at character assassination, but it's also just kind of comically inept, counterproductive.
I mean, so far, everything that The Murdochs through whatever proxies they have at Fox, everything that they've leaked to the hostile regime press has actually made Tucker look more likable, more sensible, more in touch with the realities in our country.
So I think from that perspective, it's backfiring.
I don't know what they expect to happen from it, but so far the attempted character assassination has been kind of a joke.
And I think based on the reactions that you're getting from quarters that aren't, you know, mourning Joe, people just like Tucker more when they see these kinds of candid moments that have come out through a very deliberate and hostile character assassination campaign.
steve bannon
What did the Murdochs hope to – what is the Fox platform and particularly the Murdochs?
Because these are not dumb people.
The people at Fox are not Einstein's cousin, right?
And it is TV for stupid people.
That's why we always recommend just turn it off because it is the media source of the controlled opposition.
This is why things have gotten worse as Fox has grown except for Tucker Slott.
What are they trying to accomplish in your mind by what is clearly an exorcism that they're performing in that slot?
What do you think their objectives are?
darren j beattie
Well, I think there are probably multiple objectives.
At this point, there might be a kind of personal vendetta issue.
But I mean, with people at the stature of Murdoch, you know, ultimately, I think it's going to come down to I've spoken before and said that having Tucker Carlson on primetime American television was always something of a fluke.
That's just not what America is supposed to be.
It's supposed to be dumb cattle slop for the masses all the time on primetime.
And Fox News has been very, very effective, unfortunately.
at serving up exactly the kind of slop that will keep a certain kind of senescent geriatric demographic pacified.
And so I think they're really trying to move back to that model.
Of course, there's an element of the election coming up.
Tucker, I think, although I think he's been a very I was a prescient critic when it came to a lot of things that Trump did.
Ultimately, I think he would have been a big voice in support of Trump.
I think there's an element here of trying to sideline that voice and trying to kind of bring Fox In line in terms of a more kind of uniform messaging protocol as we move into the election season more aggressively.
steve bannon
Tucker did three things, I think, in the last week that I believe the Murdochs realized that They had to make a move if they wanted to stop populist nationalism.
Number one, the amazing interview he had with President Trump that he hadn't planned it, as he told people.
It was all on national security and foreign affairs and international affairs.
And Trump was so on point, Tucker got caught up in the entire thing.
Then he had an amazing interview with Robert F. Kennedy Jr., And then he gave what I think, and I think Josh Hammer over Newsweek, which is the best op-ed section in all media, and Hammer's one of the smartest guys, wrote this amazing piece on Tucker's, really this, I think, kind of historic speech he gave at Heritage.
That talked about the spiritual dimensions of the war we're fighting now and how when he first started in the conservative movement, it was all tiny town.
It's a different game now.
We're really playing for all the stakes of the republic.
darren j beattie
Your thoughts? Steve, if there's anyone on primetime national television who would have had the capacity to see, not only to embrace, but understand the underlying logic and genius of the idea of Trump and Kennedy.
It would have been Tucker Carlson.
Nobody on Fox right now is going to be able to appreciate the vitality of that type of suggestion, because the underlying logic of it is this kind of Sense of realignment that ultimately animated the Trump campaign in 2016.
And I think, you know, as a primetime voice, Tucker really understood and represented the logic and energy of that realignment better than anyone else.
But that's not the message discipline that The Republican Party wants and sort of as a communication arm of that system, that's not what Fox and Rupert Murdoch want.
They want to go back to the, you know, the old days and the kind of the Bill O'Reilly, Roger Ailes days where there was extreme message discipline that helped to, you know, sell the Iraq war and so forth.
That's what they want to go back to and they're banking on They're banking on the Fox viewers to accept it.
And, you know, as much as I'd like to say they won't accept it and a lot of people, a good chunk of people won't, enough people will that kind of ultimately they might be vindicated.
unidentified
So we'll see. Okay, hang on.
steve bannon
You're going to be with us, hopefully, for the whole morning, if not at least the first hour.
You've got to have message discipline when you've got to make the cattle eat the cattle slop over at Fox.
TV for stupid people, Fox News.
Short commercial break.
John Fredericks, Mark Mitchell, Rasmussen, Darren Beattie, Revolver, all of it in the war room.
joe scarborough
Your host, Stephen K. Bannon.
steve bannon
You know, we're doing four hours a day, and we could do so much more.
We've got to curate this. We've got so many things we're trying to follow.
Of course, we're putting up newsletters. We've got the website, all of it.
But it's tough to curate because I've never seen a news cycle like this, plus the fact that there's just so many other stories that we're working on.
To man the ramparts, you've got to get a great night's sleep, not a good night's sleep.

John Fredericks, your assessment of the Fox leaks.
On Tucker Carlson to try to somehow destroy—they can't destroy Tucker Carlson.
The American people in the MAGA movement know Tucker, now have known him well for a couple of years.
Why are the Murdochs trying to exorcise everything related to Tucker Carlson from Foxer?
john fredericks
Well, they could certainly be in a Linda Blair movie with what they're trying to do with them, but the first rule of holes, stop digging.
They keep digging, and it keeps getting worse and deeper.
And look, Fox News is going to be the new Bud Light.
I mean, I tell everybody, just tune them out.
Why do you watch them? It's conservative ink.
It's a bunch of nonsense.
They got killed at the eight o'clock hour when they put up that Brian Kilmeade, who was basically, this is, look, they want their Karl Rove back.
They want their Iraq war back.
They want the neocons back.
They want to get back to debating how big the capital gains tax cut should be for the Murdochs.
I mean, that's the world, right?
This is the controlled opposition.
They actually had somebody on there that was saying something, who was a populist trying to get out of this war, and he was telling the truth.
And so, look, you know what?
They made their decision.
Now we have to make ours.
I don't know where Tucker ends up, but if you look at what we did with Bud Light, this is the patriot economy, right?
We took this iconic Brand.
Iconic. Sales down 29 % in April.
Think about that.
29 %? How is that possible?
One out of every three people that drank Bud Light, me being one of them, Never touch it again.
One out of three. The power that we have that we don't realize that we have because we're the consumers that buy their stuff, that consume their stuff, that watch their stuff, that have two jobs.
I've got a newsflash.
We actually work.
We have jobs.
We buy stuff. And when we get together and say, no, we're done with that, I'm not going to sit in front of the Astros game tonight with a Bud Light beer with some trans freak on the can.
I'm not going to do it.
Not doing it. Done.
One out of every three people dropped it in a month.
It's incredible. And there's no TV ads going on with this thing.
This was an organic movement.
We have the power.
This is part of the patriotic economy.
You simply stop watching Fox.
They're going to tank.
Now, who benefits?
unidentified
War Room, Newsmax, OAN. But hang on.
steve bannon
Bud Light, the Budweiser people treat you as the same type of moron as Foxy.
They have no respect for you.
They throw up a Clydesdale horse with some American flag, and the horse is running through a field.
And then they got a couple of kids at a country western thing.
They're playing a country western song, and the rain's coming down, and they're sliding around in the mud like they're deplorables kids, and it's Americana.
They think you're a fool.
They think you're a fool.
Here's how you get it by the fox.
Turn it off. The only thing the Murdochs understand is money.
Cut their money off.
You want to protest against what they did to Tucker Carlson?
It's very simple. Turn off Fox.
All of it. If you're watching it, they're just programming you to go along with Mitch McConnell when he caves.
What do you think the Hill newspaper?
I got up on Getter. The Hill newspaper, Biden reaches out to McConnell, reaches out to McConnell, wants his sage advice in the debt ceiling.
No, he wants another cave by the Republican establishment.
That's all Fox is. If you want the country to continue to go down the drain like it's going down because of no real opposition, that's what the Murdochs gave you.
They gave you where they got us in this situation.
And as soon as Tucker started talking the truth, they had to get rid of him.
And now they're out to destroy him.
It's not just get rid of him and keep paying him so he can't go anywhere else.
Now they have to try to destroy him and use the weapons.
What they're doing is leaking this to our greatest enemies, MSNBC, Morning Joe, The New York Times.
You know, look at it. Look what they're doing.
That's Fox doing it.
This is what I want to say. It's not Morning Joe.
It's not Daily Beast. It's not Rolling Stone.
That's all being weaponized and fed to them by the demons.
And yesterday he said, well, Bannon, call them demons.
They are demons. I call them out of CPAC. They're absolute demonic and they're coming for Trump.
And they're coming for Trump because they hate you.
Let me write this down. Take your number two pencil out and write this down.
Murdoch's hate me.
Murdoch's, I'm a U.S. citizen.
The Murdoch's, they're a bunch of foreigners.
Throw them out of here. Get them out of the country.
Unravel the illegal way he went about to become an American citizen so he could buy a broadcast news network.
A broadcast network, not even a news network.
To buy Fox was totally illegal.
Shazam! He became an American citizen in the middle of the night so he could own it.
Because we had a law that said foreigners like Murdoch can't own broadcast networks.
Let's play this. I got to talk to Biden.
You know, when they're calling my brother John Fredericks a slob, a bad guy, I've never seen such attacks on John Fredericks since he went off on Jill Biden.
Can we play the Max Evans?
Can we play the Max Evans finish the job?
Let's play this and I'll bring it.
Let's go ahead. Let's play this.
And we're going to bring back John Fredericks.
unidentified
It's almost inconceivable that Biden would have even thought of running for reelection.
He's destroyed our country.
donald j trump
And yet he says in his recorded piece that he wants to finish the job.
unidentified
That's right. He wants to finish the job of destroying our country.
Nobody works harder for the American people than President Biden and Vice President Harris.
Everything they do, they're thinking about each and every one of you.
steve bannon
Do you have any plans to visit the border?
unidentified
We are going to the border.
You haven't been to the border. I don't understand the point that you're making.
Now, after two years of good work, President Biden and I have a lot of really good material to show for it.
Just wanted to let you know the little eight year old girl had 67 different DNA samples inside of her.
They are extorted, abused, neglected, and that is why I blew the whistle in 2021.
I witnessed firsthand the horrors of child trafficking and exploitation.
joe biden
Let's finish the job.
steve bannon
The government knows they're here.
unidentified
How is this happening? Their legs are getting ripped off in chicken processing plants.
They're shattering their backs, falling from roofs.
joe scarborough
These are kids that went through the process.
joe biden
Let's finish the job.
unidentified
I'm so proud to run for re-election with our president, Joe Biden, so we can finish the job.
Joe has changed our country for good.
America has seen the true character of the person I've known for so long.
Biden said that inflation would be a temporary problem.
Fast forward to today, Americans are paying higher prices for just about everything.
And he's not done.
He's ready to keep pushing us forward.
steve bannon
Trans students are not under attack.
unidentified
Christians are under attack.
steve bannon
Truth is under attack.
unidentified
And reality is under attack.
What we need is reading, writing, and arithmetic.
We need education and not indoctrination.
joe biden
Joe? Look, everyone, hello.
Jill and I and Kamala and Doug wanted to get together for two reasons.
So many of you were with us throughout the incredible ride in 2020 through to this very day.
Just look at all we've accomplished so far.
Let's finish the job and we're within reach.
MAGA Republicans are trying to take us backwards.
But together, we're not going to let them do that.
Instead, our agenda is going to bring us forward and build on the progress we've made to finish the job.
We've gotten so much done.
unidentified
Let's give a round of applause to all the brave kids here who got their shots.
It's been thoroughly reviewed and rigorously tested.
It's safe, it's free, and it's available for every child in this country five and up.
joe biden
So let's go win this thing.
Let's finish the job.
steve bannon
The great Max Evans there makes a video.
Let's finish the job. President Trump says, what?
Destroying this republic? Destroying the country?
John Fredericks, in their campaign, they prominently put forward Jill Biden as like America's mom, America's grandmom.
unidentified
What say you, sir? Listen.
john fredericks
There's got to be an accounting here for this child.
This is her granddaughter.
Now, Dr. Joe Biden is a teacher, and she's supposed to be the protector of children.
That's how she presents herself.
Well, they have a granddaughter.
They don't have six grandchildren.
They have seven. Hunter Biden fathered a child.
How that happened is not my concern or business, nor do I judge.
The bottom line is he's paying child support for the daughter.
He's in court trying to get it down.
That's their deal.
I'll leave that to the courts.
But it is his daughter.
And the mother of that child determined, decided to bring her to term.
She has a beautiful four-year-old girl.
That doesn't have a father who's abandoned her.
He never sees her. Now, worse than that, they don't even acknowledge this little girl's existence in the family.
So where is Dr.
Jill Biden here? I hold her accountable.
This is supposed to be the matriarch of the family.
You're supposed to be the grandmother.
Where's the love of your grandchild?
This is your grandchild.
This is the granddaughter of the President of the United States.
She's going to have to grow up now with the stigma that their family abandoned her and made her like she's a non-existent human being.
Where's Dr. Joe Biden here?
The great protector of children.
You're supposed to be the grandmother.
Why don't you show her some love?
Take her to breakfast.
Put her on your lap.
Read her a story. Instead, you just make a mockery like she doesn't exist.
The hypocritical nature of these people are beyond the pale.
It's all about power.
It's all about money.
They don't care about anybody.
And how you could do this to a little girl who is your granddaughter?
I don't care how you want to cut the pie or what you want to say about how this went down.
She is your granddaughter.
She's Hunter's daughter.
And they just abandon her like she's a piece of coal that doesn't matter.
There's no Christmas stocking hanging up with her name on it.
Joe Biden says, oh, I've got six grandchildren.
You know what? She is going to, this little girl, this beautiful little girl is going to be seeing this video for the rest of her life.
unidentified
These people are just disgusting.
steve bannon
Hang on one second. I'm going to hold you through the break.
john fredericks
You know what my pronoun is?
steve bannon
Man. My pronoun is man.
john fredericks
One thing men do, you take care of your family.
unidentified
You take care of your children. Here's your host, Stephen K. Mann.
steve bannon
Okay, thank you. John, how can people get your...
Because this is an issue that's got to be addressed.
I mean, this little girl has already been stigmatized by these people.
And you're right. Joe Biden can't tell—how can he tell the truth to the American people about the debt, about the Third World War he's gotten us into, about Ukraine, about the invasion of the southern border?
I mean, his—you know, Zen master Jean-Pierre said illegal immigration is down 98 percent or 90 percent.
Even Kyrsten Sinema called her a liar yesterday.
But when he can't even give you the number of grandchildren he has, and it's been proven.
Trust the science.
They proved it's Hunter Biden's daughter.
Not that he didn't want to stiffer.
Not that he didn't want to have any money.
And Jill Biden's got a history here.
Bernie Kerik and Rudy Giuliani went to the authorities in Delaware about situations, right?
And they've got the receipts.
They've got the receipts, and the authorities in Delaware have the receipts.
So this is fair game.
John Fredericks, how do people get more, because you've gone through this in quite a bit of detail.
How do people get to, and you're going to get more and more attacked, but hey, somebody's got to be out there, and you're a pretty brave guy, because they're going to come at you hard.
Where do people go to get more information about your defense of this little four-year-old girl?
john fredericks
Just go to Rumble and John Frederick's radio show.
All of our segments are there.
They're also podcasted throughout the day on your favorite podcast platform.
Rumble is the easiest thing to do.
John Frederick's radio show, we put him up there.
I did my rant yesterday.
You're going to find it there for May 2nd.
But look, Steve, you're absolutely right.
Nobody is comfortable calling out a First Lady of the United States, but the whole family has abandoned this child.
I mean, this is the granddaughter of the President of the United States.
And you can't even acknowledge the fact that she exists, the stigma that that does.
But the grandmother, Dr.
Jill Biden, who presents herself as this great protector of children, except when it's her own granddaughter and it doesn't meet their narrative.
I mean, you can't get lower than this.
And I said when I was going out, you know, I don't have all the answers, but my pronoun is man.
And the first responsibility that I've got is take care of my children.
That's the number one responsibility a man has.
And Steve, both of us are fathers.
We both understand it.
I know what you went through to see Mo play in every volleyball game at Army.
You flew back across the pond and then went back to see her play.
I understand how good of a father you are.
And to see this family just abandon this little girl like she's a piece of nothing?
To me, I can't get beyond it.
I mean, this is the president and the first lady of the United States.
She can't even call her grandma.
I mean, these people are evil.
They have zero conscience because it doesn't fit their power narrative, and it's sick, and it's a shame.
steve bannon
John, thank you for joining us here, and thank you for taking the cause of this little four-year-old girl.
Greatly appreciate it.
john fredericks
Thank you, sir. Thank you, Steve, for having me.
Thank you. Let's go.
steve bannon
We got Mark Mitchell of Rasmussen.
Mark, you've got some, once again, explosive polling.
And I'm just getting from folks here momentarily some other amazing polling that's just out that I will talk about in a second.
But President Trump has racked up some huge numbers.
Walk us through your latest.
mark mitchell
Well, we have huge numbers from President Trump in this poll as well.
This was a sponsored poll, so we went out.
It wasn't our normal ask two questions overnight poll.
So it's really dense and because it's sponsored, people can go look at the crosstabs themselves on our website.
Great news for Trump, the highest favorability we've had for him in almost two years, 56 percent very favorable among Republicans and a total 80 percent favorable.
And I think we were talking on your show a couple of weeks ago that it was newsworthy that Trump's favorability got into the 50s.
But in this poll, and sometimes these numbers fluctuate, but in this poll, we have a Trump favorability of 59 % among all likely voters, with a 37 % very favorable.
That's just incredible, 59%.
I mean, we thought 53 % was an outlier.
And in the same poll, Biden favorability is only 46%.
So there's a major gulf between how people currently perceive former President Donald Trump and Joe Biden.
But the big news here is the numbers on DeSantis.
So we had a really great sponsor come to us, and he was kind of sick of the way that people just keep running primary matchups and touting all the news about how soundly Trump has been beating DeSantis recently.
And he wanted to come after the DeSantis issue from a different direction.
So what we did was we did a benchmark of just comparing Trump to Biden in a 2024 hypothetical matchup.
And Trump currently beats Biden by seven points, just like he did a few weeks ago when we ran it then.
But then what he wanted to do was compare a couple of different potential slates against the Biden-Harris slate.
So we tested what a Trump to Santa's ticket would look like.
And the news is really good.
It looks better than Trump does by himself.
So we had Trump beating Biden 48 % to 41%.
With DeSantis on the ticket, it gets to 51 % to 43%.
So that now what's interesting is when that happens, some of the other candidate responses decide to choose a side and support Biden-Harris.
But the overall spread goes up a point and a half.
And then for the first time, Trump gets above 50%.
He gets 51 % of the vote.
And we had looked at some of the demographics before comparing where DeSantis and Trump, what their strengths and weaknesses are, and some of those demographics that aren't really Trump strongholds, the 18- to 39-year-olds, the upper-income people.
DeSantis helps Trump pick up a few points among those people.
steve bannon
Let me go back to the base, then we'll get to the DeSantis add-on.
Many, and correct me if I'm wrong, but most of the other polls that I would associate at the level in sophistication of Rasmussen have it either a dead heat or Biden up by a couple of points.
You would agree that you're an outlier, that having Trump up 48, 41, even though below 50 percent, I would say you're an outlier in that.
unidentified
Would you agree with that? We poll a lot.
mark mitchell
We've pulled the Trump-Biden matchup a lot.
We famously were smeared as being a far-right pollster in the 2016 cycle for being one of the only pollsters that gave Trump a chance.
And we are, I think, only two points off on the national popular vote there.
So we were absolutely vindicated.
But we are polling these, you know, the rematches A lot more than other people, so I think that we see a little bit more sensitivity to the swings.
Back in January, we had Trump losing to Biden three points.
I think it was at a particularly bad time for the Trump camp when the theatrics were happening in the House and not long after the disappointment in November.
But besides that one time, ever since the 2020 election, we've had Trump beating Biden soundly.
By as many as 13 points and down into the single digits, when I see the same results over and over again every time I run these polls, the seven points is exactly what it was a few weeks ago.
And then our polls calibrated in the 2022 midterm election.
If you take all of our generic ballot polling over September, October and November and average it out, we were off 1.2 points from the nationwide House popular vote.
And since then, we've added a point to Democrats in our waiting in order to essentially correct for that.
So I think we're dialed in.
I think these numbers are correct.
I mean, 46 percent Biden favorability in these numbers ties exactly to the approval rate that we have for Biden on the other polling we do.
So there's a ton of reasons why this poll is internally consistent.
And even in the poll, we asked how people voted in the 2020 election.
And of course, people, you know, things drift over time.
But what the poll picks up is the difference between how they said they voted in 2020 and how they would now vote in 2024.
And there are a ton of people in this poll that said they voted for Biden and who would now vote for Trump.
Those are real people.
steve bannon
They're out there. What percentage is that?
How big is it? And what's driving that?
unidentified
The performance? Oh, absolutely the performance.
mark mitchell
Let me dig that up.
I put it down at the bottom because I thought it was at least So we had in this poll, 2020, people said 48 % said they voted for Trump, 47 % said they voted for Biden.
So now in a 2024 rematch, Biden is now down to 41%.
Trump's still taking that 48%.
So it's a lot of people say, no, I voted for Biden before, not going to do it.
Then I invite people to go download the crosstabs themselves and you can get into all the how did somebody say they voted in 2020, say they're going to vote in 2024.
steve bannon
It's all in there. Do you believe that Biden using the term, let's finish the job, is a smart campaign slogan for him?
Because clearly it looks like independents and others, there may be not an insignificant portion of the people that voted for him that are saying, I don't want that job to continue, much less be finished.
mark mitchell
In this poll, Trump has the biggest leads among independents that I've seen yet.
A 16-point lead over Biden among independents.
And the Trump-DeSantis ticket, 54 % to 34%, a 20-point lead.
So independents have just been abandoning the Biden platform for the last two years, incrementally more and more.
steve bannon
Do you believe that Trump's—what accounts for— This increasing favorable, very favorable, and people at least saying somewhat favorable in the Republican circles.
And do you think that stability is adding to the stability you're seeing now, the 48-41 that's been for several weeks now over Biden?
mark mitchell
Well, I mean, the big news is this 59 % favorable among all voters.
I mean, that just blew my mind.
But from a Trump favorability perspective, ever since 2020, we haven't had him in the high 80s or 90s.
But his approval has been pretty high among Republicans.
I think in the last two years, it was actually highest not long after January 6th.
And it stayed up in the high 70s.
And it's got down, I think, to 75 percent at its lowest after the November midterms.
But the problem there is that very favorable among Republicans dropped into the high 40s.
And so since then, after I think there was you could almost feel the momentum really develop around East Palestine and people said, wow, Trump trains back on track.
And a lot of other things certainly have happened in the news.
But that's what I think I attribute most of it to.
Of course, you never know.
I'm a pollster, not a media analyst.
But his approval, very favorable approval rating among Republicans jumped 10 points since November into the high 50s again.
And his total overall favorability is at 80 points, a level it hasn't been since January of 2021.
steve bannon
Mark Mitchell, how do people, I know you've got the YouTube channel.
Where do people go to get all the crosstabs to get everything of this sponsored poll that has a lot of information, a lot of meat on the bone here?
mark mitchell
Yeah, absolutely. I'll be cutting a YouTube video later today to really go in to put some of the numbers up on the screen and show people the results.
The story will be at RasmussenReports.com.
We had a great sponsor, Larry Ward from Political Media.
He really wanted me to shout out a website that he put together in coordination with this poll, WeWantDonRon.com.
So if there's people out here who really don't like this infighting on the conservative side and think that the Trump DeSantis ticket has a chance, you should go check that website out, sign up for the petition they have.
And check out all the news and articles.
steve bannon
We want Donron.
Okay, let's go check it out.
Might be a tougher sell today than it was to President Trump, but hey, everybody's open for business.
Mark Mitchell, thank you so much for joining us from Rasmussen.
Glad to be here. Incredible poll.
President Trump's up.
A ticket with President Trump and Ron DeSantis up even more.
Short break. Darren Beattie on the other side.

unidentified
Really? Did you know Ron DeSantis backed deep cuts to Social Security and Medicare?
mark mitchell
Ron DeSantis? Yeah.
unidentified
He voted to cut Social Security or Medicare not once, not twice, but three times.
DeSantis even tried to raise the retirement age to 70.
I thought DeSantis was one of the good ones, but he's just another career politician.
America needs Trump.

steve bannon
Okay, I'm going to connect both of those.
Politico this morning had an article that was very favorable to Donald J. Trump.
It talked about the difference in the two campaigns, and I've been saying this, and that's where I think I know Larry Ward, good man.
Go to the Rondon. If Grace and Mo can get that and put it up, I want everybody to go check it out.
Donron, I think it is, for people who want to put that ticket together.
That train may have left the station.
I don't know. But this thing about the professionalism or unprofessionalism of the DeSantis staff, I kind of jump on about this bizarre international trip, five cities in five days around the globe.
Steve Bannon couldn't do that, and I'm an expert in that type of travel and making big presentations afterwards.
DeSantis, it broke him.
When it finished in England, it was a disaster, unqualified, unmitigated disaster.
Okay. We'll get to all that in the second hour.
Darren Beattie, Axios did an exclusive interview with the CEO and chairman of Dominion the other day.
I put it up on Wyrm.
I told the audience here on the show I wanted everybody to read it.
It was very insightful.
Didn't ask a lot of hardball questions, but you saw their perspective on things.
Talk to me about this whole Dominion situation because many things that we talk about in Revolver Specializes that are blockbuster stories have kind of been swept away as people, as the media focuses on this, sir.
darren j beattie
Yes, I think specifically the lawfare component of Tucker's ousting and the broader sort of reconfiguration of the Fox News media empire It needs to be explored further.
It was really a shameful thing that they settled in the way that they did for the amount of money that they did.
It sent a clear signal of capitulation, and it has emboldened other actors to make similar types of threats.
And we saw this with Ray Epps, who was thinking, oh, well, I don't like If the media shouldn't be allowed to ask any basic questions relating to my participation in behavior on January 6th, the Dominion thing is giving Fox a huge headache.
Why don't I sort of ride that wave?
And he's retained this lawyer, as I mentioned.
He's a David Brock employee.
So he comes out of that sort of Democrat Hillary machine and said, Tucker Carlson, Save all of your communications with Darren Beattie of Revolver News pertaining to Ray Epps and so forth, clearly signaling kind of intimidation efforts to get Tucker and Fox more broadly to stop talking about Ray Epps and probably with a broader intention of having a chilling effect to stop any conversation about January 6th that the regime doesn't like.
In a certain way, that's successful.
Tucker was the biggest point of amplification of the January 6th reporting Revolver did on Fox News.
But I've learned since, and unfortunately I can't say which, but there have been multiple other major news agencies that are really no longer talking about Ray Epps, ostensibly on account of Epps' lawfare intimidation tactics.
And so, I think it's a very dangerous development here.
The Dominion precedent, I think, will have reverberations throughout at least the mainstream media, but it's trickling into other corners of the media that are sort of lawsuit shy.
And it's already had a profound chilling effect on speaking about January 6th and Ray Epps in particular.
steve bannon
Did you think that Fox put up much of a fight from anything you've seen about doing analysis or really getting into it?
I mean, the interview on Axios, the issues of interview, when the two executives spoke, it didn't seem like Fox mounted much of a real effort to prove their case.
Have you sensed? Maybe that's just my reading of it.
I want everybody in the audience to go read the Dominion interview on Axios.
We've got it up on Getter. It's very insightful.
Yeah. But they didn't seem like they were too worried.
Did they put as much effort into trying to prove their case against Dominion as destroy Tucker Carlson?
darren j beattie
Well, it's a really weird thing because they settled at the absolute worst possible time.
It's one thing. They could have settled early on and spared Tucker and everyone else from giving up their phones and having all of their text messages exposed and having this disaster.
So it just doesn't make any sense.
If you're going to settle, settle early on so you don't expose yourself to the public relations liabilities of all these text messages out.
And if you're going to fight, fight, but don't wait until everyone has their text messages, their phones exposed, and basically in the hands of the mainstream media.
And then, you know, settle at the last minute.
You're kind of getting the worst of both worlds if you're assuming they had any intention of going at it.
I mean, it looks like they're kind of using this as an excuse or as a pretext to do some kind of consolidation work and internal housecleaning that they probably wanted to do anyway.
So that's probably the other dimension of the story.
But beyond Fox News, the Dominion case has had, I think, Very dangerous ramifications.
I know for a fact it's already had a chilling effect on major news outlets who will no longer cover January 6th in any kind of critical way.
And so very, very negative development for our broader media landscape.
steve bannon
Darren, how do people get to you, social media, and on Revolver?
darren j beattie
Revolver.News, we will not be intimidated by the threats of David Brock's employee.
We have more stuff coming on apps, pretty explosive stuff, actually.
