		We've got a very special guest, Vivek Ramaswamy, the author of a... This was a groundbreaking book.
		Woke, Inc., and Vivek, you're taking action.
		You're action, action, action.
		After you wrote the book, you said, no more theory, I'm actually going to become an activist investor, start a fund.
		Talk to us about ESG, talk to us about Woke Capital, and what are you and your fund, Strive, doing to counter this?
unidentified		Yes, so the problem is that they make it sound like a three-letter acronym that's really technocratic and friendly.
		The more boring it sounds, the more you got to pay attention, right?
		So ESG, environmental social governance, it is basically a way for government to get done through the private sector what they could not get done through the front door.
		Take that omnibus bill.
		Well, you know what the older version of that was?
		It's the Green New Deal.
		Couldn't pass it through Congress?
		No problem.
		What they do is they lean on financial institutions to pass that same agenda through corporate America's boardrooms.
		So if you want it in a nutshell, what they're doing is, probably the top three asset managers, BlackRock, State Street, Vanguard, they manage about $20 trillion.
		trillion dollars.

		This is the biggest aggregation of capital in human history in private hands.
		But they're using other people's money.
		The money, probably most people watching this program.

		They're using your money.
		No doubt about it.
		The pension funds, they're using the pension funds and life insurance money.
		401K.
		Of the deplorables.

		401K, investment account, whatever it is.
		They're using your money to invest in America's biggest companies, but to tell them to adopt racial equity audits, emissions caps, political agendas that most everyday Americans never voted for, never agreed to, and didn't even know that their money was being used to advance.
		That's an abuse.
steve bannon ▲ ● ▼		This is actually more radical than what you even put through Congress because you can actually change actual capitalism to be activist capitalism.
unidentified		This is unconstrained because now nobody can see what's happening.
		If you take most people in this program and go to your financial advisor and you ask them, was my money used to vote in favor of a racial equity audit at Apple or Home Depot or a scope 3 emissions cap at Chevron, I bet you most people's answer directly or indirectly is going to be yes and most people didn't know it.
		So the reason it's more extreme is at least in the government, I mean you got your 4200 page bill, at least you can read it and transparently tell people what's in it.
		Here it's happening through the back door and they're using your money to do it.
		It is the biggest financial fraud in the 21st century.
		If you take this guy, SBF, he uses somebody else's customer money without telling them what to do.
		He gets put in jail.
		We'll see how that ends.
		But these guys are using other people's money to advance their ends, and somehow we celebrate that as ESG.
steve bannon ▲ ● ▼		Give us some specifics.
		How radical is actually this agenda?
		With diversity, equity, inclusion, you've got the decarbonization.
		When you look at the details of what they're trying to do, how radical is it?
unidentified		It's pretty, it's unthinkably radical when you get into the specifics.
		So again, my rule of thumb, the more boring it sounds, the more you pay attention.
		You hear the word scope 3, you're going to hear this a lot in the next couple of years.
		Pay attention to what that means, okay?
		So Chevron is a company, and by the way, I've been personally engaged with Chevron, with the CEO, with the board, driving change in the positive direction, I hope.
		But what happened in the last couple of years was that they adopted a scope 3 emissions cap.
		What does that mean?
		That means they have to reduce not just their own emissions, but anyone who buys oil from Chevron as well, they take responsibility for reducing their emissions.
		That includes private companies.
		It includes companies that aren't publicly traded.
		And the reason it got on there is some Dutch non-profit put up a proposal.
		The Chevron's board initially said, hell no, we're not doing this.
		But BlackRock, State Street, and Vanguard used your money to vote in favor of it anyway.
		That then becomes effectively the law of the land at this American company.
		Same thing with respect to racial quota systems at companies like Apple.
		Even Apple said, we don't want to adopt these racial quota systems.
		BlackRock and State Street, use your money to vote in favor of it.
		Then Apple has to adopt the racial quota system.
steve bannon ▲ ● ▼		So, this is pervasive.
		DeSantis called people in, called the fund managers in and said, hey, I don't want any more, I don't want the proxy vote because what Larry Fink had gone around and told all the fund managers or the pension fund managers, let us vote your proxy.
		And Ron DeSantis said, hey, we've got to stop that.
		I want the governor of Florida to vote the proxy.
unidentified		Yeah, he took a good step.
		I've spent a good amount of time with him.
		I don't mean to be a bearer of bad news here, but then you look at how the state, he may be mad at me for saying this, but I've got to lay out the facts.
		You know how the state of Florida, Their SBA, okay, their own administrative department and their pension funds, their votes internally from that managerial class, right, the bureaucracy within the state, is at least as bad as BlackRock voting in favor of racial equity programs at Amazon.

		But this is the way, I mean, you know this well.
		Federal, state, it matters.
		The managerial class that actually runs the show.

		You're getting to proxies now, but should we get more aggressive about breaking them?
		No three companies should control $20 trillion or $30 trillion.
		Should we get into a Teddy Roosevelt-type trust buster to break up the asset managers?
		Should that be our number one target right now?
unidentified		Well, I hope we can do this through the market, okay?
		I mean, this is definitely... There are two targets right now for aggregation of power.
		One is on the East Coast, is the aggregation of 20 trillion dollars of capital, the greatest aggregation of money in human history in private hands.
		The other is in Silicon Valley.
		And guess what?
		They're linked.
		Because you look at who the top shareholders of Twitter were, none other than the Black Rocks and State Streets and Vanguards of the World.
		These are more powerful companies than the Dutch East India Company.
		There have not been companies in human history this powerful, so it's definitely the number one target.
		I'm not in politics.
		I'm not running the FTC.
		What I can do is create a new competitor.
		So what I say with Strive is we'll create index funds that invest in the same companies, but mandate them to get out of the politics, focus just on excellence.

		Tell them to find out, because it is your money, not theirs, and get the answer they give you.

		It was about the unapologetic pursuit of excellence as part of what it means to be American.

steve cortes ▲ ● ▼		Yes, listen, Larry Fink is one of the most powerful and malicious men in America who very few Americans have even heard of.
		And Vivek makes a great point that he's not doing this with his own money, he's doing it with your money, largely unbeknownst to the American people.
		Let me say this, I think what Vivek is doing is fantastic and it is absolutely part of the solution.
		But when we're taking on the oligarchs, Steve, there is not a small government answer.
		It cannot only be the private sector trying to do this, okay?
		They are too powerful.
		There is too much wealth concentrated in too few hands.
		And so we absolutely need a public policy weapon here as well.
		We need to break up big tech.
		And big money at the exact same time.
		And by the way, they are deeply intertwined.
		You know, I've written about this extensively, Steve, where I call it indulgences.
		This is the modern corporatist government crony capitalism version of indulgences.
		Indulgences from the medieval period were when the Catholic Church was abusing its spiritual power and requiring people to pay money for the forgiveness of sins.
		Well, that's effectively what the asset managers in corporate America do today.
		They pay off, they buy off with a massive bribe the woke left.
		They say, we will push your toxic agenda.
		Things like gender confusion and supposed white privilege.
		We will push all of that, if in exchange you allow us to operate with impunity.
		Often to the abuse of our own workers and to the abuse of American citizens.
		So let me be specific.
		Somebody like Nike says, listen, we will push your crazy agenda, but you allow us to use slave or quasi-slave labor in China and import those goods in tariff-free into the United States.
		That's the kind of deal which has been struck here.
		It's an incredibly unholy version of indulgences in America right now.
		I don't believe that can be broken only through private sector action.

		That Google subpoenaed me.
		Devin Nunes is chief investigator for my personal phone records, my personal emails, and my personal credit card and financial information.
		When I was exposing Rod Rosenstein and Chris Wray for performing the Russiagate hoax.
		Not just me, another senior staffer as well.
		So Devin Nunes' two top lawyers, amongst other people, were subpoenaed by the Justice Department in 2017 because, as Devin put it last night, they wanted to go after him and us because we were exposing their corruption.

		The House Intelligence Committee, you were the senior counsel.
		They, the Justice Department, went and got a basically a warrant to get your emails, your banking records, all your financial records, your telephone records, we don't know if there's a wiretap or not, but all that to track you and this other staffer.
		Here's what I don't understand.
		A guy named Donald J. Trump was president.
		That's his Attorney General.
		They have a regulation.
		Did the Speaker of the House was Paul Ryan?
		Is the chain of custody... Yeah.
		Well, here's what happened.

		Did Paul Ryan notify the President of the United States or someone at the White House that they... Because the Justice Department had to notify Paul Ryan, correct?
kash patel ▲ ● ▼		Yeah, me as a former federal prosecutor, if you're going to go and surveil a member of the Gang of Eight and his staff, meaning the person who gets the most sensitive intelligence, because that's his job in Congress as the chairman of the Intel Committee, you have to go tell the AG has to notify Congress's leadership, Paul Ryan, and somebody at the White House.
		But here's the thing with Paul Ryan.
		This is the guy that didn't want us to send out subpoenas for Russiagate.
		I had to fight him, Devin had to fight him.
		Paul Ryan is the same guy that in 2016 Six months before the world ever knew about the Steele dossier, got it hand-delivered to him in private and never told me or Devin when we were running the Russiagate investigation.

		It was an intelligence operation and apparatus, essentially controlled by the FBI and DOJ.

		Were chairmen and members of Congress subpoenaed and surveilled?
		Were other staffers?
		Was the media?
		Was my phone calls with private conversations?
		Remember, at the time they subpoenaed me too, they went so far back as to get my records when I was a terrorism prosecutor.
		At the Department of Justice.
		These guys will never stop.
		It doesn't matter if you're Democrat or Republican.
		All they care about is maintaining their status quo of power.
		Guys like Rod Rosenstein and Chris Wray and Bill Barr.
		As long as the cathedral doesn't fall on their watch.
		That's all they care about.

		Who are establishment Republicans who are kind of foisted on President Trump as this is what you need to square things away.

		They held on to it because, remember, in November, December of 2019, Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders were actually more competitive than Joe Biden.
		Joe Biden finished fifth in Iowa.
		Joe Biden finished fourth in New Hampshire.
		No person in the history of Democratic politics has ever finished fifth and fourth and survived, right?
		He survived because he was selected by the Praetorian Guard.
		And that Praetorian Guard is just as much establishment Republican as it is radical Democrat.

kash patel ▲ ● ▼		No, and it's not just rampant at DOJ, it's rampant in the intelligence community, it's rampant at CIA with the likes of Gina Haspel, at NSA, at DOD with Chairman Milley and Lloyd Austin.
		And these people, there is a deep bench of deep staters that will replace these people if and when they decide to leave or retire, which they always do.
		And what we have to do, and which is why War Room is the greatest show in America, is because it exposes the deep staters on a daily basis.

		We've uncovered that groups like the China United States Exchange Foundation have been paying to take journalists from basically every news outlet.
		CNN, the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, NBC, MSNBC, I could list until the block ends, but to take them on trips to China, overseas, and upon return, if you read the contracts, they're compelled to provide quote, favorable coverage of the Chinese Communist Party.
		And this is just a drop in the very, very large ocean in terms of the tactics that China uses to really advance their own talking points.
		I always joke that, you know, even though the Chinese Communist Party and their state-run outlets are distributed and disseminated in the halls of Congress, papers like China Daily, it's superfluous.
		They don't need to do that because the editorial stance of so many mainstream papers are already, like so many things in America, being made in China.

		There's an elementary school classroom of second graders in Washington that's in a pen pal program with Xi Jinping.
		And I know that that might be shocking to people.

		And that shows you that if we're subjecting people in second grade to basically writing pen pal letters to Xi Jinping, it goes all the way to the top of this country, all the way to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, all the way to, I mean, frankly, everyone in the Biden regime, we've documented chapter and verse how every single high level appointee within that regime has ties to the Chinese Communist Party, financial personnel or otherwise.

		The director of the CIA, Bill Burns, he used to run the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, took Chinese Communist Party money, put Chinese Communist Party apparatchiks on the board of that think tank.
		So when we try to understand why our intelligence agencies are acting like the Chinese Communist Party, treating us like dissidents, really weaponizing information, engaging in full blown information warfare against the American people, it's because they have officially merged with the Chinese Communist Party.
		They use their tactics, whether it's intelligence warfare, economic warfare, not kinetic warfare yet, but you see political persecution.
		You see all the tactics the Chinese Communist Party uses against their own people, and that's why it's so critical to take down the CCP, because I think a lot of the issues that we see going on here in the United States emanates from our ruling class attempting to really model what the Chinese Communist Party does.
		This is a key point.

		No, listen, this is a monstrosity that we have to kill and we have to do it this week.
		So I want to encourage everyone out there in the audience to please call your Republican senators and tell them to hold the line.
		Because if they pass this madness, not only will it stoke further inflation and worsen the already existing inflation crisis in America, it will also effectively make Nancy Pelosi's political corpse The Speaker of the House well into next year because it will so handcuff the incoming House majority.
		Now, regarding that inflation and the decrepit state of the U.S.
		economy right now, if we can show chart number two right here, I want to show the stock of Amazon.
		Now, none of us are fans of Amazon or of Jeff Bezos, okay?
		I think this is one of the most abusive companies in all of America and should be broken up.
		But regardless, set that aside for a moment.
		It's a key gauge on the health of the U.S.
		consumer because it is so ubiquitous now in the lives of American purchasing.
		That chart goes back five years on Amazon.
		Look what has happened in the last year.
		It has been more than cut in half.
		As of yesterday, Steve, it is the first company to ever lose $1 trillion in market cap.
		Now, again, I understand there may be folks out there who say, good, I want the executives of Amazon to be punished.
		But here's the reality.
		First of all, there are hundreds of thousands of other employees who are surely going to suffer.
		But much more importantly, this is reflective of the intense weakness and the worsening situation of the consumer in the United States.
		We talked last week, Steve, about the retail sales data that came out that was absolutely dreadful for the month of November.
		When you combine that economic data with this market action and price is truth, okay, this matters.
		Amazon is right now priced where it was in 2018.
		Four years of value creation gone from one of the most dominant companies in all of America.
		Why?
		Because of what Biden is doing to the U.S.
		consumer, chiefly via inflation, sending consumer confidence in recent weeks to the lowest level in the post-World War II era.
		Okay?
		The idea of passing a mammoth omnibus, further stoking inflation, and at the same time, politically handcuffing the incoming GOP House is an absurdity.
		Let me also ask this, Steve.
		The guys who are driving this, there's two people specifically on the Senate side, Richard Shelby and Patrick Leahy.
		Both of them are days away from retirement.
		They are never going to have to face voters again, okay?
		And this is their signature send-off, their valedictory F.U.
		to the American people.
		By the way, combined, I had to look this up, first of all, Leahy's 82 years old, Shelby's 88 years old.
		Combined, they have served 84 years in the United States Senate, okay?
		84 years they have served in the United States Senate.
		They are the poster boys, or at least they should be, for term limits.
		And they are about to pass a bill that will be signed by an 80-year-old president who has been in Washington, D.C.
		for 50 years.
		So, if you want to see Exhibit A of what permanent Washington does to punish you, what it does to make you poorer, okay?
		We've had roughly 50 years of declining real wages in the United States.
		No coincidence.
		To send $85 billion in this omnibus monstrosity over to Ukraine.
		to escalate a war in which America has no discernible U.S.
		national interest, okay?
		But here's the thing.
		As awful as this is, Steve, I do believe there's a chance, even if it's a slim one, there's a chance to stop this this week.
		And everyone in the posse, all the deplorables out there, please get activated for your own self-interest and most importantly for the patriotic interest of this country to stop this omnibus.
		It is madness.

		To the lobbyists, to permanent Washington power brokers who have so supported him over the decades.
		What he is about to do is to effectively say that Nancy Pelosi will still be in charge because the power of the purse is by far the most important weapon that the incoming House majority will have over Joe Biden and over the U.S.
		Senate.
		When you take that power of the purse away and when you pass this insane borrowing and spending Orgy this omnibus you you remove much if not all of the potency of that weapon that the house should have so listen It's terrible economics at a time that the United States can ill afford any of this nonsense It's terrible from a geo national geo strategic national security handle spending 85 Billion dollars on Ukraine after we've already spent north of 50 billion so far
		On a corrupt government and a corrupt regime led by somebody who's more interested in taking photo shoots for Vogue magazine Then he is telling the truth or negotiating for his own people It's terrible from that perspective and then also again the political ramifications This is why so many folks are In the Washington establishment, almost lose when they win.
		The American people have given a mandate in the House, a mandate for conservative governance and for starting to rein in deficits.
		Deficits matter again.
		For a very long time, people thought they didn't because of artificially low interest rates.
		We now have, thanks to Joe Biden and a Fed that was totally asleep at the wheel, we have interest rates rising materially, which means that we cannot finance in any affordable way the deficits that we are currently running and what we have right now pending in front of the United States people what we have pending right now is a package of spending and borrowing that will send those deficits even further skyward by the way 4,000 plus pages released literally in the middle of the night with the clock ticking now before the
