Biden's inflation, send someone who's done it before. Josh Mandel took Ohio from an eight billion dollar budget hole to a billion dollar surplus. He put Ohio's checkbook online so taxpayers could see how their money's being spent and he earned Ohio the number one ranking in America for fiscal transparency. End Biden's inflation, send Josh Mandel to Washington. I'm Josh
steve bannon
Mandel and I approve this message. Okay it is Wednesday 27 April year of our Lord 2022.
My Lord, the month of April is almost gone.
And that would mean the, what is it, January, February, the end of the first quarter.
It is really hurtling through here.
It's unbelievable.
Absolutely incredible.
27th of April, Wednesday, it's the evening show.
Okay, we've got Josh Mandel.
We're going to be in Ohio.
We're going to be in Missouri.
We've got Pennsylvania for the next two hours.
It's going to be absolutely jam-packed.
Also special, Patrick K. O'Donnell, the best combat historian Of his generation.
We normally bring in Patrick for Memorial Day, 4th of July, all the specials we do.
In fact, Josh Mandel has joined us on the specials before.
We've got him on today.
It's the 200th anniversary of the birth of General Ulysses S. Grant, who I believe is from Ohio.
Let's go to Josh Mandel.
Josh, tell us about the campaign.
I see the Ted Cruz ad.
It's a great ad.
You're going to be touring with Senator Cruz.
Walk us through what's happening in the next couple of days.
This is an absolute barn burner.
In Ohio, I think we're seeing a triage of the candidates.
Looks like it's you and JD Vance in the hurtling down towards the finish line.
Walk us through, Senator Cruz, what's going to go on?
Where are you guys going to be?
josh mandel
Sure.
So last week we had General Flynn here in Ohio.
We crisscrossed the state, had General Flynn in Cincinnati, Dayton, Youngstown, and Cleveland.
And then this Friday and Saturday, we are bringing in Ted Cruz.
Both General Flynn and Ted Cruz have endorsed me.
We're taking Ted all over the state.
We're going to be in Dayton.
We're going to be in Cincinnati.
We're going to be in Toledo.
We're going to be in Columbus.
We'll be in some other places.
And, you know, Ted has not only endorsed me, he cut that ad for me you just saw, and he's coming to crisscross the state.
And listen, I think Ted Cruz endorsed me.
Michael Flynn endorsed me.
Mark Levin endorsed me.
And then plus a ton of groups here, like Ohio Values Voters and the Right to Life Action Coalition of Ohio, because they see me as a fighter.
And when they look in Washington, they see a bunch of Republicans who've turned into wimps.
You know, they have jelly knees and they're just soft.
You know, they're afraid to stand up to Pelosi, Biden and Schumer.
They're afraid to stand up to the corporate media.
They're afraid to stand up to the establishment Republican bosses.
And they know in me, they've got someone who's a fighter, who's a brawler, who's got a steel spine and a backbone.
And just like Ted Cruz, just like Jim Jordan, I'm going to Washington to fight.
steve bannon
By the way, you might want to tell Senator Cruz from me.
I think that spot he made for you is better than the spots he makes for himself.
It's a pretty powerful spot.
Your guys did a good job.
President Trump, when he had the rally the other day, because people know you're a MAGA, right?
It's not a question about that.
J.D.
might be a better candidate to beat Tim Ryan.
Make your case now to the MAGA audience why, in all due respect to President Trump, we know you hold him in high regard, why you think that you're a better choice to beat Tim Ryan than J.D.
Vance.
josh mandel
I think J.D.
Vance is probably the only candidate in this race who could possibly lose to Tim Ryan.
And obviously, I'm the strongest candidate.
To not only beat Tim Ryan in November, but to really whack him, beat him by double digits and retire him for once and for all.
So let me tell you why.
First of all, I'm a rock rib, hard right conservative who comes from the most Democrat part in the state.
I'm from the Cleveland area.
I was just actually knocking on doors just now here in the Cleveland area and came back to the office to do this interview with you.
And the area where I was knocking on doors is a town called Lindhurst, which is a blue collar working class area.
I've done in the past so well in those blue-collar working-class areas because they know I'm a fighter, they know I'm a brawler, and they know that no one's going to outwork me.
I'm the only one probably who's going door-to-door today.
Everyone else is doing a bunch of TV ads and they're doing big things for TV and this and that, but I'm out here literally going door-to-door.
I'm the only one who's been elected to statewide office, let alone twice, let alone by double digits.
Interesting piece of trivia here.
Besides for John Glenn, who was the famous astronaut, no one has ever been elected to U.S.
Senate in Ohio, Democrat or Republican, without having been elected to office before.
And I'm the only one who's been elected to statewide office, let alone twice, let alone by double digits, as I just said.
Third, I've got a record of being a fighter, and when you look at My time as state treasurer, I was John Kasich's worst nightmare.
When Kasich was trying to do the expansion of Obamacare in Ohio, I took him on and led the charge.
When Kasich was trying to keep the state's finances in the dark, I took him on and I said, the taxpayers have a right to know how the tax money is being spent.
I put online $690 billion of state spending, everything from two bucks for a pack of pencils to millions of dollars for road contracts and everything in between.
And I basically said, listen, Taxpayers have a right to know how the tax money is being spent.
Let's bring some transparency here.
When Kasich was trying to stop the pro-life heartbeat bill, I was the only statewide official who had the guts to be for the pro-life heartbeat bill.
And so time and time again, the voters of Ohio have seen that I'm a fighter.
And that I'm unafraid.
I'm fearless.
And people in Ohio like that.
You know, whether they're Democrat, Independent, Republican, Libertarian, Vegetarian, whatever they are, people in Ohio are gritty, they're hardworking, and they like folks who are fearless and who are fighters.
And that's me.
You know, I'm not the most charismatic guy in the world.
I'm not a movie star.
I'm not a TV star.
But if I'm one thing, I'm a fighter, and no one's going to push me around in Washington.
steve bannon
You've been doing this for a while now, going around, and I know when it first started, everything was about 3 November and voter integrity and that issue.
As it comes down to the final days, what are the issues that are the foremost of the minds of the primary voters in this Republic?
josh mandel
Well, we're talking all the time about election integrity.
There's two issues I talk about, and I say, if we're not going to lead on these issues, nothing else matters.
So one of them is election integrity.
If we're not going to stop the Democrats from cheating in elections, nothing else matters.
And, you know, I talk a lot about the fact that we don't want Washington making these voting rules, but we do want state capitals making it.
And four things I talk about are instituting photo ID, not just voter ID, but photo ID.
You got to show a photo identification.
The left says it's racist.
It's a bunch of baloney.
There's nothing racist about having to show a photo ID.
You got to show a photo ID to buy beer, to buy a cigarette, to get your government benefits.
You got to buy a photo ID.
There's nothing racist about it.
Number two, We need to get rid of these machines, not just the Dominion machines, but all the machines with their parts made in China and their insecurities.
Third, we got to get rid of these 30 days of voting.
It's ridiculous.
Go back to one day.
It's called election day.
Fourth, we got to get rid of this vote by mail.
Unless you're military overseas or a senior citizen or disabled, go to the polls and vote.
So that's something I always talk about.
And voters are very focused on election integrity.
The second thing is, Standing up to protect life from conception to natural death.
If we're not going to stand up for the unborn, if we're not going to stand up for the sanctity of life, nothing else matters.
I'm so proud to be, having been endorsed by the Right to Life Action Coalition of Ohio, by Ohio Values voters, and by hundreds of Christian activists and pastors throughout this state, because they've seen my record as a fighter on these issues.
steve bannon
Josh, Maggie Haberman had a big piece in the New York Times.
Gabby Orr had a big piece in CNN today about this controversy around Club for Growth, President Trump.
I know Club for Growth came in and supported you.
Give me your thoughts on this controversy around Club for Growth.
josh mandel
Well, first of all, I am proud to be endorsed by the Club for Growth.
The Club for Growth stands up for individual liberty.
The Club for Growth stands up for personal freedom.
The Club for Growth stands up for less taxation.
And ensuring that we, as citizens, can keep more of our hard-earned money.
So let me just hammer that home, how proud I am to have their support and how proud I am to be in the foxhole with David McIntosh and the entire team at the Club for Growth.
These are people who care about our country, care about our liberty, care about our freedom, and in an enormous way, they're a force for good.
Listen, throughout the country, in some states, they're working with President Trump, and in other states, they're working against him.
The reality is you look at North Carolina, they're working very closely with them.
You look at Arizona, they're working very closely with them.
But in some other states, they're not.
One of the things of many that I respect about the Club for Growth is that they are principled on their issues, individual liberty, personal freedom, limited government, and less taxation.
And they look for candidates around the country like Ted Cruz, like Jim Jordan and others who are consistent on those issues.
You know, something else I'd say is this, and you know this from your time, you know, in the Alabama Senate race, you know, there's sometimes Steve, you're, you're on the same side as the president.
Sometimes you were on different sides, but we all think that president Trump was the best president in our lifetime.
And I know if President Trump runs for president again, the Club for Growth will be in a foxhole with him once again.
steve bannon
I've been on the other side where President Trump made an endorsement of maybe somebody I didn't recommend, and we work with the other guys.
Let me ask you just about the club, because you've been pretty adamant.
Because you and JD, I think, agree on this, but you went after Gibbons pretty hard on the China issue and bringing manufacturing jobs back.
Are you comfortable, Josh, because you're a smart guy, are you comfortable that those principles of Club for Growth match up with your principles when you talk about economic nationalism and kind of the angles of attack you took on Gibbons about the manufacturing jobs and the China and all that?
josh mandel
Listen, I've talked to the folks at the club and, you know, they feel very strongly that the Chinese Communist Party is the antithesis of everything we stand for as Americans.
And you are correct.
I took it, you know, took it to Mike Gibbons and I'll take it to anyone else who's running against me, who's profited off of sending American jobs to China.
No, I think it was Democrat and Republican politicians, presidents, as well as congressmen and senators who over many decades gave the store away to China.
And now we need to elect a new generation of congressmen and senators who understand that the Chinese Communist Party is focused on the downfall of America.
In fact, on February 4th of this year, Vladimir Putin flew to Beijing and he met with Xi and they put out a joint statement, a joint statement to the world.
But there was one line in that statement that was addressed to the American people.
It said this, we, the Russian Federation, we, the Chinese Communist Party, are focused on quote, The redistribution of power in the world.
Translation, they are focused on the downfall of America and the rise of Communist China, the rise of the Chinese Communist Party.
And the problem in Washington today is we've got these politicians who are, you know, they're looking in terms of 24-hour news cycles or two-year election cycles.
The Chinese Communist Party is thinking and planning and acting in terms of decades and generations and even centuries.
And we need congressmen and senators who understand that in their bones, who are willing to have scars and take on the Chinese Communist Party and make enemies in Washington and elsewhere by standing up for jobs in places like Youngstown, Ohio, Toledo, Ohio, Cleveland, Ohio.
And that's exactly the type of senator I'm going to be.
steve bannon
Josh, how can people follow you and Senator Cruz over the next couple of days?
josh mandel

steve bannon
Honored to have you on here.
josh mandel
Thanks, Steve.
steve bannon
The Buckeye State is one of the leaders in the MAGA movement.
This, I can't tell you, this Senate race is coming down.
It's a barn burner.
I want everybody to find out as much as you can.
This is going to be one.
For obviously people in Ohio, it's very important to get out and vote, but for everybody else, follow what's going on here, because this is the future of our MAGA movement.
Let's bring in Tim Parlatori.
I tell you what, can we play the clip?
Let's play the clip of Don Jr.
and Eric Greitens.
Can we go ahead and play that?
that and I'll bring in Tim Parlatory.
unidentified
Strike your fear in the hearts of liberals everywhere, folks.
Liberals beware.
steve bannon
I don't know how many times they played that on MSNBC last night, but since we monitor CNN in MSWC, they played it a lot.
That blew heads up.
I tell you what, we're going to take a break.
We're going to bring Tim in.
He's the lawyer for Eric Greitens and some breaking news.
Big League Politics has broken a story and there's some other news coming out.
The situation with Commander Greitens out in Missouri.
We've got Patrick K. O'Donnell.
We've got Todd Bensman.
There's a lot going on on the board of the administration trying to put forward their plan.
Todd Bensman is going to tell us all about it.
Short commercial break.
unidentified
break will be back in a moment in the war the world We will fight till they're all gone We rejoice when there's only one Pandemic.
With Stephen K. Bannon.
The epidemic is a demon and we cannot let this demon hide.
War Room.
Pandemic.
Here's your host, Stephen K. Bannon.
steve bannon
Okay, there's some breaking news in the Eric Greitens situation out in Missouri.
Eric's in a very tough, you know, you've got these Senate races, Alabama, Pennsylvania.
We'll be talking about Pennsylvania in the six o'clock hour.
You've got Ohio.
I could go around the horn.
There's so many tight ones.
Arizona.
Missouri, particularly interesting.
You've got Eric Greitens out there, one of the MAGA candidates that's got a lead right now, but people are all over him.
Sure, so we've had some filings in the court case that have really shown that all of these claims are false.
Carl Rove, can you give us an update?
unidentified
Sure.
So we've had some filings in the court case that have really shown that all of these claims are false.
So we have now emails and also dental records from the child showing that this whole claim, that he had abused the kids, that she knew about it at the time, that he had to go to the dentist, all made up.
All completely fabricated.
We also have, she claimed that she told the therapist and the mediator about this at the time and her lawyers.
Well, the therapist and the mediator have since confirmed she never said it at the time.
So, at this point, all of these false claims that were brought out during a politically sensitive point in the campaign Have all been debunked.
They've all been proven false.
So that's the big development on our end.
And as far as Karl Rove is concerned, he's really fighting this.
He doesn't want to give us a phone record.
steve bannon
But sure he doesn't.
Karl Rove's a known scumbag, and Steve Wynn that was hanging out with him is a scumbag too.
They're two scumbags.
But when you say made up, you're using nice terminology.
Did she perjure herself?
Because if it's in an affidavit that's accusing a guy and it's an illegal record, made up is a term we use here in the war room.
But she, what you're saying is she, in your opinion, she perjured herself?
unidentified
In my opinion, she perjured herself, yes.
She submitted a false affidavit under oath under penalty of perjury.
steve bannon
Under penalty of perjury in this situation would be what types of fines or penalties or incarceration is there?
unidentified
It could potentially be a felony.
You know, you could have somebody that's thrown in jail.
Of course, that's not something that Eric is pushing for in this case.
He doesn't want to put the mother of his kids in a jail cell, but I would expect that the judge will probably make a finding that she's not credible, which will certainly impact any future proceedings.
Yeah, but the thing is, it's not so much just about trying to punish her or use this as an advantage in a family court case.
It's about the fact that she and these political operatives use this to try and assassinate Eric's character to hurt his campaign and in doing so to hurt his family.
And that's really the disgusting thing, because the reality is that right now we should be talking about the issues and letting Eric debate what is best for America, as opposed to trying to disprove these false claims of child abuse.
steve bannon
Here's I think this is an issue, and here's why.
Karl Rove shows you what the establishment of the Republican Party.
He's never served the military.
He's a gutless coward, right?
He's attacking a warrior.
Because they're jealous of these guys, and they don't want MAGA people stepping in and blowing these people up.
Karl Rove stands for nothing and is nothing.
And Steve Wynn, that scumbag, taking all his money from China, right?
And the RNC ought to be, they ought to be ashamed of themselves of taking a penny from this guy.
Okay?
Terrible individual, and I think he ought to be prosecuted for being a non-registered foreign agent of the Chinese Communist Party.
And there's massive documentation of Steve Wynn trying to get freedom fighters for the Chinese people extradited back to China to go to prison.
Okay?
That's what kind of scumbag Steve Wynn is.
And if Steve Wynn doesn't like it, have his lawyer contact me.
unidentified
Dude, we'd love to do Discovery on you.
steve bannon
Carl Rove, your scumbag.
How come you can't hunt down Carl Rove and just get him subpoenaed?
How hard is that?
unidentified
Well, we did subpoena him.
We subpoenaed his phone records and he's filed a motion to quash.
So right now that's being fought out in the courtroom in Missouri.
So he doesn't want us to be able to get his phone records.
steve bannon
Why would he have any grounds for not turning over the phone records?
He put her up to it.
unidentified
Well, he doesn't want us to find that out.
That's the big thing.
And I understand why he would not want us to get those phone records, because A, it's going to show that he was communicating with her after he lied and said that he wasn't.
B, because we believe that she committed perjury, it's then going to open up him to questions of, did you know that these were false claims?
Did she lie to you, or did you help her make it up?
And why did you push her to do it right now?
steve bannon
Tim, how can how can we continue to follow this case?
Is there just continue to watch the news?
Is there any site that we can go to?
Is there anything that because I know people are extremely interested in this, particularly if they're seeing the establishment trying to come in and lead pipe a a a warrior.
unidentified
Honestly, I would say it's best to follow the news on this.
This is a private family matter that has unfortunately been weaponized to try and distract from Eric's campaign.
As his lawyer, I have not recommended that the campaign put out regular press releases on this or regular things on Twitter because the reality is he is focusing on the issues that are most important to the voters and not these claims that have been debunked.
So if you want to follow what's going on in the courtroom, you know, certainly there will continue to be newspaper articles about it.
But, you know, we're not putting up a live feed.
There's no need to give it any more oxygen than it already has been given.
steve bannon
Is he going to sue?
Is Eric going to sue Karl Rove personally?
unidentified
At present, we don't have any plans on that, but you never know what's going to come out in discovery that may change the idea.
steve bannon
Tim Palatori, thank you very much for joining us here in the War Room.
Appreciate it.
unidentified
Thank you for having me, Steve.
steve bannon
It's the 200th anniversary of General Grant's birthday, and that's kind of odd.
I want to bring in Patrick K. O'Donnell.
Here's what's so amazing about it, and I don't think that people... He was only, what, 40 years old or 41 years old?
42 when he took over, but at the Battle of Shiloh, He would have been 41, 42.
Patrick K. O'Donnell.
He was a young man.
He was not old at all.
Patrick K. O'Donnell.
patrick k odonnel
He's a very young man, Steve.
Arguably one of the great, if not one of the greatest generals in American history.
It's because of his grit and determination that the course of the war changed.
In 1864, that was the year really, in many ways, that really determined The course of the war, you know, we look at it in 1864 right now in the lens of today is the Confederacy being doomed.
But that wasn't really the case necessarily, because there was one union defeat after another.
And this was leading to the rise of the Democratic Peace Party within the Democratic Party in the election of 1864 was looming.
And it was right around now that General Hunter launches his attack on Staunton, Virginia, and ultimately on Lexington, Virginia, which fails and leads to Jubal Early being rushed to Lynchburg to save that city, which then leads to the Shenandoah being left wide open after General Hunter left the field and exposed the back door of Washington.
And it's here that, you know, is one of the great Lost opportunities for the South, one of the great possibilities in history that could have happened, and Jubal literally marches straight up the Shenandoah Valley, and in July 1864, threatens Washington with being sacked.
There was hardly anyone in Washington's defenses at this time.
They were rushing the sick and wounded, anybody that they could, to the ports of Washington, which were exposed and wide open.
My relative was there.
He was in the 150th Ohio.
He was defending Fort Stevens, where Jubal Early launched the focus of his attack.
But, you know, it's quite amazing, right at the time that Early is at the gates of Fort Stevens, the 6th Corps jumps off a steamboat and then has to march several hours to Fort Stevens to reinforce it, and it changes the course of history.
But there are many things that occur during 64, and Grant is different because he realizes that in order to defeat the Confederacy, you have to attack it from all sides.
And there's the first time in three years of war with the Union, there's an overall commander, and that is General Grant, that is attacking the Confederacy from all sides, attacking its army from all sides and its infrastructure and trying to punish it, to destroy its ability to make war.
steve bannon
No, and he starts here shortly the Overland Campaign, which is absolutely, I think, the most brutal campaign in any American war, where they start in Washington and go all the way down to Richmond, to the gates of Richmond, at Cold Harbor, and still can't take the city and have a siege.
Incredible, incredible man.
But here's the... I'm going to hold you through break.
The controversy today is about General Grant, I think he's a five-star general, he was given that at the end of the war.
The question gets to be, is that, and tomorrow we're going to have the head of the Grant Association, he's now getting ready for their formal dinner tonight, he's going to join us in the morning, about making General Grant, I guess General of the Army, as only Washington and Pershing, and I know you know this Pershing story very well, Do you believe, as a combat historian, because it's very controversial among folks right now, do you believe that General Grant should be raised to that level of General Washington and General Pershing?
patrick k odonnel
I don't think there's any controversy at all to this.
There were nine men that have been raised to the rank of five stars in American history, Pershing being one of them.
I wrote a book called The Unknowns about that.
But this is, you got Marshall, you have MacArthur, General Grant is clearly within that that realm of those men.
I don't think this is controversial at all.
He is the person that is, you know, responsible for defeating the Confederacy and then also holding office later.
You know, for two terms, he defeats the the KKK.
I mean, he's an incredibly important figure.
And I think that the fifth star is is a very reasonable thing for him to have.
steve bannon
I tell you what, let's take a short commercial break.
We've got Patrick Kay down on the other side.
Todd Bensman's going to talk to us about the border, the Biden administration now in a complete... They say they have a plan.
They haven't fully released it, but they say they have a plan on the invasion on the southern border.
unidentified

Coffee's got me rolling here in the afternoon.
We're going to have Frank Scartura from the Grant Association on tomorrow morning.
Patrick, here's the thing.
We don't have time to go through it.
There's actually this weird situation where they're trying to raise General Grant to be a general of the Army, equivalent to General Washington, into Pershing.
I think they did Pershing first after the First World War.
They realized later they hadn't given that to General Washington.
In 1978 they did that, and now, because of the 200th anniversary of General Grant's He was given his fourth star right at the end of the Civil War.
They're talking about doing that, and it's gotten a little controversial, but we're going to work it all out.
You've got a book you're working on.
You're the best comic historian out there.
You're going to join us for our Memorial Day special, as we've done every year for many, many years.
What's the latest?
Can you tell us what your latest book is that you're working on?
patrick k odonnel
Steve, I've been working on this book for five years.
One of my hobbies is to tour battlefields.
And it's something I've been doing.
I've been buried in the archives when I'm not promoting a book.
But I really can't get into all the details, but it's going to be on the Civil War.
And it's going to be an untold story as all my other books.
And it's going to blow a lot of people away.
And it's sort of an elite unit story as well, but it's an untold one.
And it's one that is in tremendous importance in today's world and what it led to.
And I'm, I'm exceptionally excited about it.
It's, it's, uh, you know, I'm really looking forward to debuting that with you, like we did with the Innocence.
steve bannon
I always, our audience always loves your books.
How did they get to your website to check out all of your books, all of your writings?
patrick k odonnel
Yeah, I love, I love, uh, I love the war rooms posse and, uh, very grateful for them.
And I'm on a getter at, at combat historian.
And I'm also, my website is patrickkodonald.com.
And those are my books are on Amazon and everywhere else.
Indispensables is the latest book.
steve bannon
Indispensables is incredible.
By the way, I think it's about a month from now.
We'll be around for our Memorial Day special, always with Patrick K. O'Donnell.
Patrick, thank you very much.
patrick k odonnel
Love doing it with you, Steve.
steve bannon
It's always a pleasure.
Thanks, brother.
Frank Scortura tomorrow and get into this situation with General Grant.
Got to get to the bottom of it.
He's having their dinner tonight and he's going to join us in the morning to go through it.
Can we play The Border?
I got Todd Bensman on here.
unidentified
Let's play.
steve bannon
We got a hit on that.
We got a cold open on The Border.
I want to get Todd in.
unidentified
We inherited a broken and dismantled system that is already under strain.
It is not built to manage the current levels and types of migratory flows.
Only Congress can fix this.
Yet we have effectively managed an unprecedented number of non-citizens seeking to enter the United States.
alejandro mayorkas
We are mindful that there can be an increase in migratory flows encountered at our southern border should Title 42 come to an end, as the CDC has determined.
unidentified
It needs to do by May 23rd.
It is our responsibility to maintain operational control of the border.
That is what our personnel are dedicated to doing.
That is what the personnel of throughout the department and I as a secretary are dedicated to doing and we will not lose operational control of the border.
The wall projects, the majority of them, rest in the jurisdiction of the Army Corps of Engineers.
Those that we ourselves control, I believe that the cost of discontinuing them is approximately $72 million.
And I will follow up with you to ensure the accuracy of my statement this morning.
The question is, sir, is very simple.
What information do you have in your possession We have a plan.
front line agents who risk their lives every day and some of whom give their lives every day have, though don't have, that will tell you that you won't lose operational control to some of the border at least when Title 42 is lifted.
We have a plan.
We have a plan that we have developed and that we have been preparing to execute.
Your six pillar plan?
And have been implementing since September of this past year.
NBC's Ali Vitale is on Capitol Hill.
Ali, good afternoon.
Fill us in.
Hey, Ali.
Yeah, this is not the only hearing that's going on about this.
Even this week, we have multiple cabinet secretaries from the Biden administration on the Hill for a variety of issues.
steve bannon
But, you know, these hearings tend to hinge on... I can't take any more of the lies and misrepresentations.
Axios, which is not exactly the war room, right?
David had a huge piece the other day about there's already a move underway when the Republicans went to impeach this guy right out of the box, Mayorkas.
Incompetence, lying, all of it.
And I say, hey, he's just a functionary for Biden.
It's the invasion of the Southern border.
Todd Bensman, is he perjuring himself when he sits there and just lies like he's doing?
Because he's incompetent and he's a liar.
Todd Bensman.
todd bensman
Well, what we can say for sure is that his perception is at great odds and variance with reality on the ground.
Those of us who have spent any amount of time at the border know that what he is attesting to in Congress under oath is nothing at all like what's actually happening down there.
And one reason might be that, you know, first of all, it's politics.
We're in an election year.
But also, I mean, there could be just some sort of psychological denialism going on with this guy.
We know that the species, the political species that is in office right now is a very strange, weird animal that we have never seen.
Not even Democrats have seen anything like this, where their view of border security
is the smooth and efficient inflow of as many foreigners as they could possibly get in in the quickest way in the shortest amount of time and that's a really strange uh... we we've never had uh... a political outlook about the border in that way i mean this is something really brand new uh... in the american experience is the ideas that they have no deportation
It's not a weird thing.
It's part of their program.
has a right to claim asylum and get into the country, no deportation, no detention, no any kind of immigration enforcement at all.
This is really a weird thing.
steve bannon
It's not a weird thing.
It's part of their program.
That's when he lays out a plan, as you said, is to get the turnstiles going.
This is this is this is why they're traitors.
They have a responsibility.
They're worried about the sovereignty, the territorial integrity, and the self-determination over in the eastern border of Ukraine.
And they're not on the southern border of the United States.
This is why the Hispanic vote is coming so far our way, Todd.
It's not weird.
This is a plan, is it not, sir?
todd bensman
Well, I think it is the plan.
They had a plan to piecemeal dismantle immigration enforcement in America as we have always known it.
And it's a far left extremist idea that comes off of the placards and street graffiti of Antifa during the Occupy Ice movement.
And Occupy Wall Street movement.
It comes from that sort of that area.
I think it's a weird sort of ideology or theology, if you want.
But they have it.
And they took control of U.S.
immigration policy.
And they see mass numbers of people coming in as a good thing, as a positive thing for the country.
They say it in their own words, that this is a great thing to have all these people come in.
You know, we have a labor shortage.
You'll hear things like that.
But listen, he was just in the Darien Gap.
They did a parachute trip into the Darien Gap.
And I know that your Ben Berquam and others have been down there recently.
And he didn't go anywhere near that traffic to see those boats coming down one after another off of the in the jungle rivers on their way here.
The entire world is on their way to the southern border, and I think that they know it just from intelligence, and they're all right by it.
steve bannon
No, not just right by it, they set up a controlled, their controlled flow is not to stop the controlled flow, it's to exacerbate the controlled flow.
Are you hearing, you read the Axios story, I sent it to you, there's talk, I mean, McCarthy, you've seen this report, I know you can't report on it, they're ready to go with a 60-page report from day one, but this guy's in the gun sights, they're going to impeach him right away, right?
And I think people get very serious about, are there criminal charges here?
For his lies and misrepresentation of what they're doing to destroy our nation.
Are you starting to hear people, particularly in the House, are they getting worked up about this?
You see some sharp questionings, but are you, what are you hearing from the Republicans?
todd bensman
Oh, they're going to, they want to impeach him.
You know, they talk about it all the time.
They're drafting articles.
They're, you know, I mean, they're very excited about impeaching, you know, introducing articles of impeachment.
I mean, I don't know where that's going to go.
That's in the political realm of things, and I feel like they're going to make an attempt to do that, and it'll be a big political theater.
But in the meantime, the border is out of control.
It is not in control in the slightest bit.
Title 42, from everything that I'm hearing from my Border Patrol sources down there, Friends that are down there, Title 42 is already over, effectively.
They don't have Border Patrol hands on deck to be able to drive migrants to Title 42 and over the International Bridge.
They're just letting everyone in.
Everybody, even the single adults, are being PR'd right into the country, personal recognizance right into the country, by the thousands and thousands right now.
There's not even a pretense, in Texas at least, to 42 anybody.
It's already effectively over.
steve bannon
Unbelievable.
Todd, how do people, what's your social media, how do people get to you, how do they follow your writings, how do they get to your book?
todd bensman
T. Binsman at Getter follow me there, and my book is America's Covert Border War.
about the jihadist threat coming over that border.
I just had a piece in town hall today about that very topic, and another one is up right now.
CBP is offering that they've had 42 terrorists cross the border in 2021.
So this is a real issue right now, too, when the border is this derailed, when all systems are not go.
And also I'm on Twitter still.
Hopefully Elon Musk will Save it, but I'm on Getter mainly.
That's where I do most of my work.
steve bannon
And you're on fire.
If you follow the Getter account, so go to Getter right now and follow Ben, Todd.
Todd, fantastic.
I hope you're taking notes for another book because your next one will be a blockbuster.
You've been in the thick of this fight from day one.
Todd Benson from CIS, thank you very much for joining us.
todd bensman
Thank you.
steve bannon
The border is going to be the number one issue this summer.
It's going to get cranked up.
You got you there in court with 42.
You got 24 states are trying to stop it.
You see right there.
They will sit there and lie to your face.
We're going to play this.
I don't think we'd have time.
The six o'clock hour.
But tomorrow morning, I want to play that Mayorkas again.
They will sit there and look at you like you're a fool and lie to your face.
This is one of the reasons that we have an absolute opportunity to destroy this November, the Democratic Party from From the school boards all the way up.
We have an opportunity to destroy the Democratic Party.
And I think we have a moral obligation to do it.
You see right there how dangerous it is.
unidentified
Okay, short commercial break.
steve bannon
We're going to finish strong here in the first hour.
Got a couple of good surprise guests.
Short commercial break.
We'll be back in the warm in just a moment.
unidentified
War Room.
Pandemic.
to the end just watch and see it's all started everything's begun and you are over because we're taking down the ccp spread the word all through hong kong we will fight till they're all gone we rejoice when there's no more let's take down the ccp war room pandemic with stephen k bannon the epidemic is a
demon and we cannot let this demon hide War Room.
Pandemic.
Here's your host, Stephen K. Bannon.
steve bannon
OK, from this morning, we found out that I guess there's a billion dollar breakup fee.
A billion dollars on each side, on Elon Musk.
I'm sure Elon's got enough conditions, precedent, as we call them, that he can get out of there, including financing and all that.
But I'll have more on that at 6 o'clock in tomorrow morning.
About the Twitter deal, my strong recommendation to him is walk away if they're going to act like they're going to act to that corporate headquarters.
And no conservatives, to me, should be on Twitter at all.
And it's not because... I've never actually been on Twitter.
They kicked off War Room because we were putting up the hard drive from hell.
We have a whole legal strategy for Twitter and for individuals at Twitter, but we'll hold that for another day.
We've worked on this for a long time, and we're holding our legal ammo to the right time, but we're never going to let Twitter off the hook.
We think they're a complete group of total and complete scumbags, and they have been from day one.
And everybody fanboying on Elon Musk.
Don't think it's going to be Baltimore, so you don't need to jump on it.
The earliest this thing could close would be post... They'll never let it close before the election.
unidentified
It'll be fourth quarter or even early third quarter.
steve bannon
Okay, let's go to Luke's Wings.
It's a group that we absolutely love and a service they're providing that is needed for law enforcement and for our great soldiers and troops that are wounded.
Anna Conrad, Anna, tell us why Luke's Wings is now more than ever, and I'm going to talk about this event that I'm going to speak at on Saturday night.
Ma'am.
unidentified
Thank you.
First of all, thank you for coming.
We're really, really excited.
Just a beautiful thing we get to do every year.
We haven't gotten to do in a while because of COVID and all the crazy restrictions, so we're really, really excited.
I think now more than ever.
You know, my first week working here, Steve, we saw the Pennsylvania state troopers get killed.
Two of them, you know, answering a normal call.
We ended up flying five of their family members to a memorial service.
And for me, that explains it.
You know, we have to have that.
People need that.
You have family all over the country.
Stateside even who just don't know how to get places.
There are places that are lacking.
You know that VA is trying their absolute best and we're really trying to fill that gap.
Whether it's the Wounded Warrior program, major illness, we have veterans and hospice care, and of course the fallen officers transportation assistance programs.
And we're really trying to push this out there to simply help people.
It's all we're here to do and you know that's What the mission has always been, but we really want to expand on that.
So we're always here 24-7.
I know Shannon said that a lot and I'll say it again.
We share the phone.
Yeah.
steve bannon
I think that's great.
What's the phone number and the website for people that need the service?
Because I think the service you provide, whether it's helping the family get there, or somebody that's critically injured, and or if they've got to get funeral and get there for the funeral.
I know the one out in California where the police officer got gunned down in cold blood.
Twelve people were able to go to the funeral, military buddies and family.
People, you've got to realize, people These folks don't make a ton of money, right?
In particular of other family members.
I mean, it was started off the fact, I think it was a Walter Reed, one of our wounded veterans.
And the government, of course, in a 5.8 trillion dollar budget, naturally you can only find money to send one family member for one short period of time.
And people have wives, they have Particularly mothers want to be there.
It's just it's an incredible.
Look, the reality is the government doesn't apply that service.
And so you guys have put this together to do.
But I want to make sure people get the website and the phone number if they need to use the service that they know how to contact you guys.
unidentified
Yes, sir.
The phone number that I keep on me, Shannon keeps our emergency phones.
It is 512.
971-9848 and it is www.lukeswings.org.
And anything else, call the office.
I'm here almost every day, so I will definitely help where I can.
steve bannon
Bernie Kerrick is going to be at this event.
They have an annual event and they haven't been able to have it in the way they like to because of obviously the COVID restrictions.
It's going to be in Washington DC over at the, in Georgetown at the Ritz Carlton.
And I am going to speak, say a few words.
Bernie Kerrick's going to be there.
Others remember this is a lot of active duty military.
It's also veterans.
There's a lot of police officers, former police officers, a lot of law enforcement.
So you will be with kindred spirits.
But if you want to come, what's the website they go to?
Because you've got a few tickets left.
People in the D.C.
area, the greater D.C.
metropolitan area, even the Mid-Atlantic, want to come down on Saturday night.
Starts, I think, about 6 o'clock.
How do people get to the website to see if there's any more tickets left?
unidentified
Absolutely, Steve.
So you can go to the LukeSweens.org website and we will have a little button that says donate.
It's pretty easy, but we've definitely had our fair share with the tech world as it is right now, where people are not really wanting to get on their computers too much or donate money over a screen.
And that's totally understandable.
So I am here.
We have a few in-office people here who are definitely willing to answer the phone and take donations over the phone.
We're willing to register you.
Whatever you guys need, we are definitely here to serve and help you.
So absolutely, just let us know.
steve bannon
Anna, I've got to tell you, I really appreciate you guys 24-7 on the emergency phone.
So thank you very much and we look forward to having you guys back tomorrow.
We'll see you on Saturday.
Anna Conrad.
unidentified
Absolutely, Steve.
It was great to see you.
Thank you so much.
steve bannon
Thank you, ma'am.
OK, there's so much going on tomorrow morning.
It's going to be intense at six o'clock.
Also, we're going to talk about this Pennsylvania Senate race.
These races are really heating up.
Ohio, Barnburner, Pennsylvania, Barnburner, Missouri, going to be a Barnburner, Tightwin in Alabama, Tightwin in Arizona, Governor's races, Secretary of State races, Georgia.
I think for President Trump and for MAGA, and I gotta be blunt about this, a very disturbing poll out today in the governor's race, and I think Perdue finally woke up.
The former senator had a great debate, I think, the other night, and I think there's another one Thursday, and he was laying in haymakers about what happened on 3 November.
But the poll out there is, one that's not a barn burner right now is Georgia.
Looks like it's a pretty big gap, and Senator Perdue has a lot of ground to make up.
Right now it doesn't even look like they're getting a runoff, but there's still time.
Remember, a week in politics is eternity.
Okay, we're going to take a short commercial break.
We've got a lot to get to in the next hour, so stick around.
War in Battleground is next, and we're going to get intense.
And one thing I'm going to guarantee you, when you finish the next hour, you're going to understand the economics of the geopolitics in back of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
in the escalation of a certain great powers in the world, the United States of America, and certain powers in Western Europe.
