Well the virus has now killed more than a hundred people in China and new cases have been confirmed around the world.
You don't want to frighten the American public.
France and South Korea have also got evacuation plans.
But you need to prepare for and assume.
Broadly warning Americans to avoid all non-essential travel to China.
This is going to be a real serious problem.
France, Australia, Canada, the US, Singapore, Cambodia, Vietnam, the list goes on.
Health officials are investigating more than a hundred possible cases in the US.
Germany, a man has contracted the virus.
The epidemic is a demon and we cannot let this demon hide.
Japan, where a bus driver contracted the virus.
Coronavirus has killed more than 100 people there and infected more than 4,500.
We have to prepare for the worst, always.
anthony fauci
Because if you don't, then the worst happens.
unidentified
War Room.
Pandemic.
Here's your host, Stephen K. Bannon.
steve bannon
Okay, before we get started, I want to make sure everybody knows this.
MyPillow.com, Promo Code War Room.
The Giza sheets, they're just over stocks on these colored Giza sheets, particularly the queen size.
I think they're $49.99.
That's a one-time good deal.
Not going to last forever.
I want to make sure everybody goes there.
Use your agency.
Action, action, action.
MyPillow.com, Promo Code War Room.
Sales all over the place.
But particularly these colored Giza Dream Sheets are not going to last forever, so make sure you go there today.
So I've got two of my favorite folks here, Cortez and Barris.
We've got to go through some math and some numbers.
Bort's going to join us about Texas, because that was really the biggest thing yesterday, and I know Cortez is going to have some ideas about that.
I want to start with Richard Barris, the People's Pundit, one of the best pollsters out there.
Richard, going into the speech last night, Biden needed a Hail Mary, because these numbers, as you've walked this audience through, are horrific, the worst in presidential history.
And did he get it, according to your analysis?
unidentified
No, not even, you know, some things are objective, some things are subjective.
richard baris
Even if you were to believe CNN's snap poll, Steve, that's the, that's the lowest, you know, positive rating towards the State of the Union speech since George W. Bush gave his seventh.
unidentified
In 2007, which everybody knows if you remember what was going on back then.
It was very unpopular.
The economy was tanking.
The war was raging.
So that's how bad Joe Biden did.
And imagine thinking that his major problem was that it was hard to deliver a speech with a laundry list of accomplishments.
You have people like David Axelrod out there saying that's nuts.
Other presidents have managed to do it just fine.
Donald Trump used to knock it out of the park during the State of the Union.
All the polls showed it.
Joe Biden's major problem was that he's surrounded by the same Obama folks, but he's not Barack Obama.
And George W. Bush is not Donald Trump.
So to go up there and try to plagiarize your predecessor while at the same time Blaming him for everything that's wrong and taking credit for everything that's good.
It just wasn't gonna fly.
You know, the American people are busy.
They're not stupid.
They're busy.
And sometimes you get to pull the wool over their eyes.
You're not gonna do it with a speech like this.
People say it didn't move the needle, Steve.
I think it did.
I think it actually will hurt them further.
steve bannon
Why do you say that?
unidentified
Because people want, you know, I don't think we've had a president since, you know, old Bill Clinton.
Who would go out there and say, all right, you know what?
A little humility.
You know, maybe we fell a little bit short in this area.
That goes a long way with the American people.
Joe Biden, again, it's not, Barack Obama never did that either, but he was personally liked.
He was personally popular.
Joe Biden is none of those things.
It would have served him well to go out there and said, to say to the American people, you know what?
I made big promises on COVID.
We've gotten a lot done.
Yes, we're not there yet.
I know we didn't return to normal like you expected we would.
Americans would have appreciated that.
Instead, to remove the mask mandate two days before a speech and then pretend all is well?
And then take credit for it?
You think Americans don't know Donald Trump was behind Warp Speed?
Of course they do!
We polled it!
It's 2-1 when you ask, who do you credit for the vaccine?
It's 2-1 in favor of Donald Trump.
You're gonna go out there and tell them what?
Lies?
It's stupid.
It was incredibly stupid what he did last night.
steve bannon
I'm not so sure the vaccine's a positive for Trump, but let's leave that for another day.
Do you believe he convinced people he's a war leader, which he was trying to do, obviously, and that this is a real time of war, that there's a vital national security stake for the United States in eastern Ukraine?
unidentified
No.
And can we be honest?
He looked frail, Steve, and weak.
I mean, this is probably the biggest hoodwink On the American people when it comes to the well-being of an American president since FDR.
You know, not leveling with the American people about the Commander-in-Chief.
richard baris
Going into this speech we had major majorities say that Joe Biden is not competent enough to be a wartime Commander-in-Chief.
unidentified
The U.S.
military doesn't believe Joe Biden is competent enough according to that poll that came out over the weekend.
It was over 70% So when you lose faith in the people, that's one thing, they elected you, and obviously that's the worst thing that can happen.
This man went into the State of the Union address having lost the faith of the people he's supposed to command.
I mean, this idea that he could spin up these words and change it overnight, it's just not reality, Steve.
It's not reality.
steve bannon
How do people get to your site?
How do they find out more about your polling?
unidentified
Yeah, peoplespundit.locals.com.
We've got a lot of polling coming out in this month, starting with that poll in California we were telling you about.
People, again, his, Biden, went into the State of the Union address.
You know, national polling is one thing, but we're looking at these districts, Steve.
People should go to Locals and check it out.
We're looking at these districts and his approval just keeps falling.
And as it does, that generic ballot keeps deteriorating for Democrats.
And there are seats up for grabs that I don't think people understand are You know, they did not foresee these seats coming into play.
steve bannon
They are.
100 seat pickup.
We govern for 100 years.
Richard Barris, thank you very much.
Honored to have you on here.
Everybody go to his site.
It's got great analysis on it.
unidentified
All the best, Steve.
Thanks for having me.
steve bannon
Thanks, brother.
Okay, Unrestricted Warfare was written by these Chinese colonels back in the late 90s as kind of the game plan of the Chinese Communist Party.
It talked about cyber and information war, it talked about economic war, and it talked about kinetic war.
Last night, Steve Cortez, the commander-in-chief of the United States, or supposed commander-in-chief of the United States, Stepped up in front of the American people and kind of rambled on about Ukraine, Ukraine, Ukraine.
Did he, sir, ever inform the American people that we're in an offensive economic war where we have weaponized their currency as the lead weapon?
We have unleashed a thermonuclear weapon on, I guess, an opponent because we declared war.
Steve Cortez.
steve cortes
You're exactly right, Steve.
We dropped a financial dirty bomb upon Russia, and even worse than that, upon the Russian people.
Not one that is targeted against the oligarchs, against the war machine, against Putin, but rather against everyday Russians.
That's what we did in our intentional decision to, in a concerted way, as a Western alliance, effectively, Collapse the Russian ruble.
And by the way, you don't have to guess about this because some of the officials, people like the French Foreign Minister, are being very deliberate and very overt in their statements.
But to answer your question, did Joe Biden make that case of, we are already at economic war with Russia?
That economic war, I fear, could trigger a kinetic shooting war.
Did he admit that we are?
Did he spell out the reasons why we are?
Did he make the case to the American people why they should support this?
Why we should be taking these kinds I mean, a conflict in which Russia is clearly in the wrong, obviously, with a violent invasion of another country.
of a regional conflict in which there is no vital American interest? I mean a conflict in which Russia is clearly in the wrong, obviously, with a violent invasion of another country. But again, is there any vital American interest at stake that could possibly justify this level of escalation and particularly escalation with a power that is as potent as Russia is, both on the nuclear side and as you have correctly cited on the cyber side, which may be even more dangerous because they're probably much more willing to go
there to attack the United States.
But the other risk for us, it's not just what Russia may do to us, Steve, it's what we're doing to ourselves.
And I wrote a new article and put it up on my sub stack about this because Look, a lot of Americans love this Netflix series, The Crown, and that may be terrific drama, okay, but it doesn't really matter to our lives.
There is a crown that matters to our lives, and that's the crown of King Dollar.
A lot of Americans may not even realize that, but one of the reasons, for example, for 40 years before Biden, For 40 years, we've had very stable low inflation in the United States.
Basically, from 1980, when Volcker and Reagan broke the back of inflation, all the way until now, we had a long period of stability in pricing.
It was amazing for regular Americans, for their purchasing power, for their prosperity, their everyday lives.
That's been badly broken now by Biden, and it might get much, much worse because of what he's doing to the dollar.
This move by the United States, in my view, really jeopardizes dollar supremacy and dollar hegemony in world financial markets.
unidentified
Why?
steve cortes
And I'll give you, there's two reasons I think that are crucial here, Steve.
The first is, what he has clearly told the world, what he has showed the world through this action is, You can't count on the dollar for stability.
You should not be transacting in the dollar, or at least primarily in the dollar.
So, major countries like Russia and India and China, they already were making plans to get on non-dollar banking systems.
Those plans are now going to put into overdrive because they can't function financially.
I don't blame them for this, Steve.
They can't function financially at the whim of Washington D.C., at the idea that Washington D.C.
can debank them at any time with a little help from London and Brussels.
That is what is going on right now.
That's what we're doing to Russia, something that was not even done to the Nazi regime.
But here's the other reason why I think King Dollar is presently being dethroned, after a century at the helm, by the way.
The dollar has been the reserve currency The night of the world are the United States currency has been ever since America sent the doughboys over to the Great War in World War One and finally broke through and ultimately achieved victory in that struggle for literally a century.
The dollar has been the ascendant reigning monarch of currencies.
The other reason I believe it's ending now, the disaster in Afghanistan.
So on two different fronts, on the weaponization of finance, the debanking of Russia, and then also on the military front.
Because if you look historically, Steve, the world's reserve currency defaults to the strongest military in the world, particularly the strongest Navy.
Before the United States, it was the United Kingdom.
That's where the phrase, sound as a pound, came from.
The Royal Navy ruled the seas, and the pound ruled the world as the reserve currency.
It was then replaced by the United States dollar.
When the world saw that disastrous, botched, calamitous evacuation, From Afghanistan, Putin and a lot of other people in the world, many of whom wish harm for the United States, realized we need not fear, at least in the way we previously did, the potency of the United States military.
Because White Rage Milley is a lot more focused on wokeism than he is on lethality.
So I think these twin forces combining together The loss of military supremacy and the debanking of Russia are starting to cause the loss of dollar hegemony in the world.
King Dollar is being dethroned.
steve bannon
And people don't understand.
Life will change.
We'll become Argentina as soon as we're not the prime reserve currency.
When you can't... Our ally last night says, I've cut the deficit in half from 3 trillion.
The 3 trillion was because of the COVID, because of spending on the COVID.
They're going to come up here in a couple of days with this bipartisan group hug, a $1.5 trillion annual deficit, going for it in perpetuity, no matter how they lie about it.
The Federal Reserve is still doing quantitative easing.
They haven't jacked any interest rates.
This is an orgy of spending coupled with an easy money, and that only exists It only exists in the world that you are the prime reserve currency, that every transaction in the world has to be converted into dollars to take place.
The reason is people know that the dollar has a certain value.
We are playing with fire here, and here's the thing.
Not one leader in this country are walking the American people through what we're doing, what we're risking.
What are we risking for something that is not a vital national security interest of the United States?
It may be a vital interest for the guys in Brussels, for the EU, and maybe for some of these partners in NATO, but remember they're allies that have never pulled their weight ever, right?
Steve Cortez, we've got about a minute in this block, then we'll hold you over.
steve cortes
No, you're exactly right, Steve.
Here's the thing, and I'm glad you mentioned Argentina, because Argentina was a country that was as wealthy, if not wealthier, than the United States roughly a century ago.
So history teaches us that we can't be complacent.
This can happen to us, to the United States, with $30 trillion in debt.
The only reason that we effectively get away with that, with that profligacy, is because of the supremacy of the dollar and the thirst for the whole world to hold dollars, from central banks to drug cartels.
But once you lose that appetite for the dollar, and I think it's happening now, King dollars being dethroned, suddenly those debt burdens become totally unsustainable for the United States.
This is incredibly dangerous, and we're playing this game over a country that doesn't mean anything to the vital national interest of the United States.
steve bannon
We are playing with fire, and your leaders are lying to you.
We are playing with fire.
And I'm telling you, it could bring an economic and financial catastrophe on this nation.
And last night, we're at offensive economic war.
He did not make the case and didn't even bring it up.
Talk about some sanctions on oligarchs.
That is not what we're talking about.
Okay, we're going to take a short break.
Steve Cortez is going to stick with us.
An incredible piece he's got.
Everybody's got to go to Substack and read it.
Right?
The end of King Dollar.
This thing is scary.
Very scary.
And it will affect dramatically your life, your family's life, your community's life, and the life of this nation and the world.
Short break.
Boris is going to join us too about the Rio Grande Valley, South Texas.
What happened in the primary yesterday.
Lee Greenwood at the bottom of the hour.
All next in The War Room.
unidentified
War Room.
Pandemic.
With Stephen K. Bannon.
The epidemic is a demon and we cannot let this demon hide.
War Room.
Pandemic.
Here's your host, Stephen K. Bannon.
steve bannon
Okay, if you don't think a new day is dawning, brought on by the feckless Biden administration, headlines in the Financial Times of London, China offers role as peacemaker.
China's stepping in here because Ukraine stepped out.
Of course, the phony sub-headline, Beijing extremely concerned about civilians.
Sure they are.
These are the people that are so concerned about Lao Bai Jing in their own country.
It's a criminal organization and it's coming to bail out the KGB criminals in Moscow, but it's Ukraine reaching out to them.
China offers role as peacemaker.
That ties directly back to what Steve Cortez is talking about.
Remember the Gulf Emirates, all of our great allies down there, UAE.
Saudi Arabia, they're all thinking about how they get off the US dollar, how they get a basket of currencies or crypto or Yuan base, whatever, right?
Some basket, even Modi, our great ally there.
And the reason is the recklessness of our ruling class.
It's not the deplorables.
Oh, you're the people supposed to breathe through their mouths and not know anything, right?
It's the recklessness of this Davos, New York, Wall Street, Washington, D.C.
Uniparty, City of London, The awfully, awfully crowd in the chalets in Switzerland.
By the way, Cortez made a good point.
Remember, the Nazis declared war on us.
We didn't declare war on them.
We did it afterwards.
After the Japanese attacked us, we declared war on Imperial Japan.
Two days later, Hitler, because he's got a secret deal with the Japanese, declares war on us.
The Swiss in the United States, we never went to economic war with the Nazis in any phase of that.
We bombed the oil in Romania and did all that, but I'm talking about using financial and monetary assets.
We didn't do anything to the Nazis, which I think they were pretty bad hombres, right?
We all agree to that?
And Switzerland just sat there and took their cash and it became the place where they put their deposits and all the assets they stole.
From all over Europe, including the Jewish population, which they stole their assets, put them right in Switzerland.
Switzerland didn't say anything.
Switzerland and the United States are at active war right now against the Russian people.
So just put that in perspective, and here's what you've got.
You've got a new world order forming.
Trust me.
And where are placing it and what we're doing.
And we don't have the luxury.
We don't have the balance sheet anymore to just continue to print money.
And that is what is addicted.
It's an orgy up here.
And every body's got to be lighting up the phone lines over the next couple of days.
We'll get some more specific information about what they're about to do to come up with this big group hug.
Bipartisan Shelby in Alabama, you know, Senator Claghorn down there and Patrick Leahy.
This thing is a debacle.
This is a debacle.
And we can't fool her anymore.
No more games.
This is a game.
Steve Cortez, put that back to oil and gasoline to tell us what kind of shape we're in, sir.
steve cortes
Yeah, and I want to show that chart in a moment, but you make an important point, by the way, if I'm correct, that we were already headed to recession even before this crisis, and it's now hastening because of the weaponization of money, this total overreaction of Joe Biden.
You're so right that America's not in a position now, if we're heading into a recession, we don't have the balance sheet.
We don't have the firepower that we had in previous crises, the dot-com bubble, the housing crisis, even COVID.
We no longer have the balance sheet.
to react appropriately.
It's sort of like in the movie, The Godfather, when Mo Green says he doesn't fear the Corleones.
He goes, the Corleones don't have that kind of muscle anymore.
Well, the United States doesn't have that kind of muscle anymore.
We can't pull this off, this unprecedented action, this financial dirty bomb that we have dropped upon the Russian people.
Again, not Putin and the oligarchs, upon the Russian people.
But let's show gasoline here.
I think this is Critical for the audience to see.
Important for them to actually see a chart.
You know, we like evidence and data here, not just sloganeering at the War Room.
These are futures on gasoline.
So these are gasoline prices per gallon, but at the wholesale level.
So, of course, you pay well more than that at the pump.
But this is the wholesale level gasoline futures.
On Election Day, November 3rd of 2020, when Joe Biden illegitimately prevailed, gasoline was $1.29 a gallon at the wholesale level.
It has soared now, as of today, all the way to $3.29.
Up $2 a gallon from $1.29 to $3.29 at the highs today.
But here's what I really want to point out.
And I put this in roughly the middle of the chart, but toward the right there.
That's right before Halloween.
That is October of 2021.
Just this last October.
Gasoline got to almost $2.50 a gallon.
Why?
Nothing to do with Ukraine.
Ukraine wasn't hot at all.
It wasn't on the radar.
Wasn't making any headlines.
Gasoline had almost doubled.
It was up 93% from Election Day until Halloween.
Why?
Joe Biden declared war on American energy, on our former energy dominance that we enjoyed under President Trump, and on top of that, of course, He embarked upon an incredible inflationary and exorbitant spending spree that raised the prices of all assets, gasoline of course included.
But this gasoline chart is proof positive that you cannot use Ukraine, you cannot use Putin as a boogeyman, as a beard to excuse this inflationary spiral that we're unfortunately enduring in the United States.
steve bannon
We got good news, though, last night.
It wasn't from Joe Biden.
Joe Biden tried to become a populist last night, right?
Tried to go back to his Scranton Joe.
It's not going to work.
It's all phony.
But down in Texas, particularly South Texas, with the Hispanic vote, Cortez, what are your thoughts for bringing Boris?
steve cortes
No, listen, great performance, and one thing I really want to highlight that I'm very excited about because this is an important part of growing our coalition, right?
Steve, you always talk about inclusive nationalism and participatory populism.
It's so key.
Part of growing our coalition is not just ethnically and racially and geographically, but it's also the sexes, is that we want to do better among women.
Republicans have struggled with women for a very long time.
Well, there are three Latinas, and these are America First Fire-breather Latinas.
Three of them who won last night are one who I think will win.
She's in a runoff.
But Monica de la Cruz is the nominee.
Cassie Garcia is in a runoff but will likely be the nominee.
And then Mayra Flores.
All three of them have a very legitimate shot at earning a new first name come fall.
That new first name being Congresswoman.
And it's really, really exciting.
These Latinas are part of the new generation of leaders of America First.
steve bannon
Boris, jump in here.
How did Texas turn out for us last night as far as enthusiasm and energy?
boris epshteyn
Steve, unbelievably, it turned out unbelievably.
It's such an honor to be here with you today.
It's a big day, another big day for MAGA, and we're continuing to prove and to show that the MAGA movement, which is now synonymous with the Republican Party, because we are the MAGA party now, is on the upswing.
And there were some numbers that were sent along just last night, and the numbers show that in 2010, Republican advantage in early voting, in early voting, But primary voting over Democrats was 800,000.
I sent those numbers on to Denver.
I sent those numbers all to Denver, 800,000.
unidentified
800,000.
boris epshteyn
In 2018, it got all the way down to about 520,000.
Yesterday, that advantage with 95% of the precincts reporting was 855,000 votes.
What does that tell you?
That tells you the Republicans and MAGA are coming out in droves, Democrats are sad and pathetic, and they are disillusioned, disheartened by the sad—not those numbers, we can go with those later—the disillusioned by the sad Joe Biden, and they're staying home.
And of course they're staying home, because they've got nothing to be excited about.
They have everybody from Mike Bloomberg to Chris Sillizza telling them that they have nowhere to go, that there's going to be a major wipeout in November, and that's when prediction becomes reality.
So in Texas yesterday, President Trump put out this statement.
You had all of the Trump-endorsed candidates either winning or Or up going into a runoff.
A few going into a runoff.
That was expected, as we talked about yesterday.
But again, yesterday, another proof of muscle.
Of muscle for Donald J. Trump, for MAGA, and for the War Room Posse.
So congratulations to the Posse.
One more time, putting a shoulder to the wheel and making sure that we are coming out on top in the early voting, in the primary voting, in the great state of Texas.
steve bannon
Boris, we've got to bounce here, but I've got to ask you about, particularly you were in White House communications, and of course, Cortez is an expert in messaging.
Just your assessment last night of this performance of Joe Biden.
boris epshteyn
It was not a State of the Union because illegitimate holders of the White House don't get to give a State of the Union.
That chat from pathetic, feeble Joe Biden yesterday made him absolutely no friends.
No friends on the left, no friends on the center, and of course no friends on the MAGA part of the political spectrum.
Joe Biden embarrassed himself one more time yesterday, and if it's possible, he actually underperformed expectations.
What they tried to do, and again, going back to our times at the White House, Steve, they tried to completely refocus that speech last minute, which is totally, totally out of the norm and out of the way things are done.
Usually you prepare for weeks of the speech.
They threw it all out and tried to make it all about Ukraine.
It turned out to be a soup of mashed potatoes.
It was sad.
There was nothing uplifting about the speech.
Then there was one winner that came out of that chat from Joe Biden yesterday, and it was Donald J. Trump.
Who again, in the Texas voting, and all over the country, showed himself to be the leader of the American people.
steve bannon
This is what the media does not talk about.
The winner yesterday was Trump, both in Texas, and Trump at that speech, and also about the weakness and about what's happening in Ukraine.
It would never happen to Trump.
I gotta bounce.
One thing I want to say, the power of our movement, particularly the populist part of it, Joe Biden was trying to be a populist last night, totally phony.
Cortez first, how do people get to you in your sub-stack in your article, then I get divorced?
How do people get to you, Steve?
steve cortes
Yes, please find me on Gitter.
My substack is linked.
Find me on Gitter.
I'm at Steve.
And over at the Twitter, I'm at Cortez.
steve bannon
Steve Cortez with an S. Boris Epstein, how do we get you on social media, sir?
boris epshteyn
No doubt about it, Steve.
We'll have some more information coming up at 5 o'clock on the voting in Texas.
Some exit polling on the Hispanic voting.
Again, MAGA crushing all over the place.

Stay strong.
God bless.
Huge day for MAGA.
I'll see you at 5.
steve bannon
Inclusive nationalism and participatory populism.
That's what it is.
Putting your shoulder to the wheel, whether it's a school board, whether it's becoming a poll worker or a poll watcher, whether it's the precinctstrategy.com becoming part of the Republican Party and inclusive nationalism.
We're ascendant and nothing's going to stop us.
Okay, short commercial break.
The great Lee Greenwood is going to join us.
But a CPAC experience and also this Bible that he's had to put out himself because the publishers won't do it.
All next in The War Room.
unidentified
War Room. Pandemic. With Stephen K. Banner.
The epidemic is a demon and we cannot let this demon hide.
War Room. Pandemic. Here's your host, Stephen K. Banner.
steve bannon
Okay, there's these huge forces in the world that are driving things.
And of course, obviously, human agency has a part of that.
One of the things in the world we try to do is to make sure that you understand things like economic warfare and the weaponization of the dollar and these great movements and powers in geopolitics.
And then how you understand it, you can get your own mental map, your own framework.
But as far as making changes and making change to all this, it's always been at the hyper-local level.
unidentified
Right.
steve bannon
That's what populism is about.
That's what inclusive nationalism is about.
And so our our strategy has always been to to make sure that you have access to and know how to join and contribute and find out wherever your your strength is to make sure you participate.
This is all about participation.
I think Chrissy Noem said something is very powerful in her in her talk.
And I really want to thank her.
I thought her talk was a brutal takedown of Biden.
But then when I asked her, what should people do?
She goes, run for office.
Go run for office.
We've had a number of people on here, a number of Hispanics, African-Americans, working class people haven't ever jumped into elective politics.
A lot of them are getting in there and learning about it and learning how tough it is.
Right.
And how people try to come after you and destroy you as part of that.
You're changing the country.
We do have a hyper local focus.
So it's kind of high and low.
We try to make sure everybody understands what's happening in the world.
And so, uh, when a neighbor says something about, or you hear something about China on CNN, you know, we've already described it to you that when it's a headline in the, in the financial times, people in the world would go, yeah, yeah.
We talked about that months ago.
We know that a year ago, this is the, this is going to happen.
And the CCP is criminal organization and their partners with these criminal KGB guys.
So that makes sense that that happens.
Or when we weaponize the dollar and how it has an impact on your life.
One of the things we do is that Michael Patrick Leahy has got the Star News Network.
They've got all these papers and websites for I think 10 or 12 of the battleground states right now.
It's expanding all the time and every day when I first get up I go there to see what the local news is.
Because they focus on what's important locally.
So, Michael, first off, because Lee Greenwood, as soon as we get him up, he's going to join us to talk about the Bible that his publisher shut down that he's pushing out, because at the end of the day, this is a spiritual war.
But I want to make sure people can get access to what you guys are doing, because I think it's important every day you get a great snapshot of what's happening around the country, particularly at the local level.
Yeah, the Star News Network, Steve, thank you for having me on.
supervisors of what's happening at the local level of these key states in key areas Where really the future direction of the country is being being driven every day. So walk us through the Star News It's like an AP Associated Press for more local news and then what are the states you've got?
michael patrick leahy
Yeah, the Star News Network Steve. Thank you for having me on. It's we're now in 11 states around the country We focus on state and local news that matters from a state and local perspective not from a national perspective But what's going on in the state?
And so we're now we just launched our 11th state.
It's our first blue state, the Connecticut Star.
And we have our Susan Barry is up there and reporting lives in Connecticut, reporting there for us.
And Brad Vesely is reporting as well.
And we cover really what's happening at the state level.
So, for instance, today, At the Ohio Star, we're reporting on the news that the leader in the Ohio GOP Senate race now is Mike Gibbons, who I think is one of the people that's been on your program.
He said he's a Tea Party guy at his roots in Arizona, at the Arizona Sun-Times.
The big story there is the Arizona Republican Party is suing the left-wing Democrat Secretary of State Katie Hobbs, who's running for governor, because she has basically said, hey, we're going to allow drop boxes.
And we're not going to do anything to monitor them.
That is an invitation for fraud.
And by the way, speaking of Arizona, that's where our friend Dan Schultz, the guy behind the precinct strategy, is based.
And, you know, you talked about going local and about the importance of running for state, for local offices, school boards, county commissioner.
Dan has been championing that for well over 10 years.
And I think now is the time for people to focus on that.
Here in Tennessee, for instance, in Williamson County, it's a suburb.
of Nashville.
It's a very affluent suburb of Nashville.
The left wing has sort of taken over the school board.
Well, they're pushing back.
This coming week, we have a story about John Rich, the country music performer.
He's headlining an event for a slate of 19 candidates that are running for the school board and county commission in Williamson County.
They're really going to make a difference.
This is the first time that such a widespread effort has come to have real
steve bannon
Now, and this is what's important about going there, and one of the reasons that we love partnering with you is that, for instance, Katie Hobbs, you see her on MSNBC in kind of her national role as a spokesman trying to thwart the voter fraud and the decertification process.
In Arizona, but what the star newspapers and the star website gives you is what she's doing on a daily basis to make sure that the theft can continue on.
And that's the great thing about they got they live and die on these mail-in ballots, right?
And every day they're working this.
I also would be remit by the way.
The thing about John Rich is very important because it shows you.
That not just are people in entertainment or people that are prominent understand this and are getting it back of it, it also shows you where people are starting to like run in slates or combine together.
It's kind of like the Secretaries of State, the six or eight with Jim Marchant and Mark Fincham that are running, understanding these down ballots.
And these are the things that we can win and we can control and we can take over.
And that's why the left is so crazy about this.
You also have had tremendous coverage in Pennsylvania.
And everybody knows John Fredericks has just bought a new station.
We're in the John Fredericks Radio Network.
John's just bought a new station in Pennsylvania that I think is one of the most powerful signals in Pennsylvania.
Pennsylvania is going to be critical.
And guess what?
With all the fighting that went on, I think last night the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania reversed the decision on mail-in voting.
That's now going to become a firestorm probably in the federal courts.
This ought to be worked out.
I would be remiss, though, if I didn't at least mention That you had a blockbuster interview in your Tennessee paper, and Tennessee's kind of become, you know, Florida is so important to the MAGA movement with the great work that Governor DeSantis is doing.
Obviously, Texas, with this tectonic plate shift of Hispanic voters, and Governor Abbott did win, hat tip to him, he won a blowout win last night.
Texas is so important to the MAGA movement turnaround.
Arizona is.
Arizona's kind of the railhead of the hardcore, you know, Trump base.
We love Arizona.
But Tennessee is taking on kind of a personality of its own.
And I think a lot of it is to do with the reporting you're doing out there and you having the back of people, particularly in the state legislature.
I would be remiss if I didn't talk about that interview.
Which left-wing media has kind of picked up on, and I think it's on Daily Beast and BuzzFeed and everything.
You had an interview yesterday with someone who's running for Congress.
How did that turn out?
michael patrick leahy
Morgan Ortagus was a spokesperson for Secretary of State Mike Pompeo from 2019 to 2021.
Never lived in Tennessee, from Florida, lived in Washington, D.C., lived in Manhattan.
Parachuted in here last year.
Registered to vote three months ago, endorsed and probably by former President Trump and by Secretary of State Pompeo.
I've always had a problem with somebody coming in as a carpetbagger.
Most Tennesseans do.
And so she came in for an interview and I just asked her seven very simple questions.
We called it taking the fifth, sort of like a game changer.
steve bannon
Hang on, I want to tee this up.
You had nothing personally against Ortega, right?
She's done a good job for Pompeo.
Some stuff she did with Biden is questionable and people say she's a rhino, but just leaving all that aside.
Right.
President Trump did endorse it, but leaving all that aside.
And this is because Tennessee is such a special place.
And the volunteer state, you know, they have a great and the state legislature.
Everybody has to remember the fights we have now in the redistricting to finally get what Republicans and MAGA in the nation deserve, which is really off the census.
Right.
You had these rhinos giving things away.
And it was Tennessee, the legislature there.
These proud volunteers that stood up and said, no way, overrode the governor.
And that's why you have a 7-1, which it should be, in Tennessee.
michael patrick leahy
It inspired Missouri.
Steve, it's currently 7-2, and the redistricting, which passed, and the governor did sign the redistricting, now makes it likely 8-1.
And this key district, Tennessee 5th, is one that was solidly Democrat.
This is Cooper's old suit, right?
steve bannon
Am I correct?
michael patrick leahy
Exactly.
Cooper said, I'm not going to run for re-election.
Morgan Ortagus parachuted in three months ago, registered to vote here.
And a lot of Tennesseans don't like having somebody from the outside tell them what to do.
And so when she came in, I just simply asked, Seven very simple questions that virtually every resident of the 5th congressional district here in Tennessee would know the answers to.
She didn't know any of them.
And the first one, and I set this up to be a very easy question.
The first question was, can you name the three interstate highways in your district?
She couldn't and was sort of downhill from there for her.
And, and it was so, it was so such a painful response.
Cringeworthy, I think, would be the best adjective, that it's kind of gone all over the place.
But it illustrates the point.
She is, in fact, a carpetbagger.
And Tennesseans really don't like carpetbaggers.
steve bannon
Here's the other thing, too.
I think there's also a misconception that, and correct me if I'm wrong, it's almost like if you study Churchill's history, it's almost like a parliamentary system where you can kind of hopscotch around to different districts and get to the House of Commons.
unidentified
I think so.
steve bannon
I think you nailed it, Steve.
And that's exactly what I object to.
be at one, you can take different ones at different times.
We don't really, we don't have a parliamentary system.
We have a system, people come from, they represent their districts.
They either come out through it or they come in from another way of life, but they're there.
Is that the core kind of, not dysfunction, but the difference between her perception of things and what some of the people in Tennessee's perception are?
michael patrick leahy
I think so.
I think you nailed it, Steve.
And that's exactly what I object to.
I believe in the American system of representation.
And unfortunately, former Secretary of State Pompeo and even former President Donald Trump wanted to impose this carpetbagger upon 5th District of Tennessee voters.
Interestingly enough, she attended Johns Hopkins University as a graduate student.
You know who was a graduate student there and wrote his PhD thesis in the 1880s about making America a parliamentary system?
steve bannon
I think it was, that would be Governor, then Woodrow Wilson became President.
michael patrick leahy
This is a rejection of the parliamentary system, basically, the rejection of a carpetbagger.
And really, these are questions that every fifth grader in the 5th Congressional District could answer, and she couldn't answer them.
steve bannon
Okay, I tell you what, we're going to, Michael, we've got Lee Greenwood, can I bring Lee in?
We've got about a minute, I'm holding through the break.
Greenwood, can you hear me?
unidentified
I sure can.
Thanks, Steve.
Good morning.
steve bannon
Hey, Lee.
We only got a minute left in this segment.
I want to hold you over.
Can you give us a minute?
We got this great picture of you at CPAC.
How was your trip to CPAC?
unidentified
Oh, that was fantastic.
Receiving the Hall of Fame Award.
Good company with Rush Limbaugh.
Of course, I didn't really expect it, and last week they told me we had to get to Orlando to do that, and I had reason to go to Orlando anyway.
My wife came in and joined me, and it was fantastic.
What a great award, and I consider myself a real conservative, a real patriot, and to receive an award like that, it just reinforces what I do.
steve bannon
Lee, you are, but you've also done something very special.
We're going to take a short commercial break.
When we get back, this Bible has really, I think, inspired people.
Particularly the story, the original publisher didn't take it, and you're doing this personally, the God Bless the USA Bible.
We're going to take a short commercial break.
Lee Greenwood, who has put this Bible out with the founding documents amongst a lot of controversy, just got named to the Hall of Fame of CPAC over the weekend.
Don Jr.
was there to greet him.
We'll take a short commercial break.
Lee Greenwood will join us on the other side.
unidentified
War Room.
Pandemic.
I will fight to the end, just watch and see.
It's all started, everything's begun, and you are over.
Cause we're taking down the CCP.
Spread the word all through Hong Kong.
We will fight till they're all gone.
We rejoice when there's no more.
Let's take down the CCP.
War Room, Pandemic, with Stephen K. Bannon.
The epidemic is a demon, and we cannot let this demon hide.
War Room.
Pandemic.
Here's your host, Stephen K. Bannon.
steve bannon
Okay, welcome back.
Breaking news, and I know this was not off of Cortez and myself talking about this earlier in the show, but Federal Reserve Chairman Powell just announced Zero Hedge reporting.
It is possible to have more than one reserve currency.
Okay?
Federal Reserve Chairman, possible to have more than one reserve currency.
Of course, we've never done that in the modern world.
Ladies and gentlemen, we are entering uncharted territory, and we're playing with fire.
We are playing with fire.
And right now, I've got to tell you, the deplorables, this audience, you're supposed to be people who don't know anything.
You're supposed to be the dumb and uneducated, and they're supposed to be our betters and so smart.
We are playing with fire.
The people that control this country are playing with fire right now.
Lee Greenwood, I got to tell you, brother, The courage and really prescience you had about putting this Bible out when it got turned down, and now more than ever.
We've got a shooting war over in Eurasia.
You've got economic catastrophe here.
You've got these irresponsible people at the Federal Reserve that are playing with fire right now in the currency of this country.
More than ever, this is a spiritual war.
At the rear head of this is a spiritual war.
But I got to tell you, I got to thank you for this audience and really for the American people to have be turned down on a King James Version of the Bible that you included the founding documents of this nation that are all divinely inspired and to be turned down and then to do it on your own.
Take a couple of minutes.
Can you tell us about that journey, about what you had to do to do this?
unidentified
Well, you know, I certainly believe from the very beginning that if we're a Christian and a conservative, we need to know how this country got started.
You look at the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, certainly the Pledge of Allegiance, which we include, and the Bill of Rights.
Those are documents that we probably saw in school and history, but if you go to Washington, D.C., you certainly can't take them with you, and I don't know of anyone that carries them with you.
So, if you include them into a book of faith, and this King James Version of the Bible that I produced has those four documents in it, so people can have that readily at their hand, To refer to and also show it to their kids because we have to pass this from generation to generation.
And we are under attack.
We are attacked from the devil.
And I'll tell you what, that this publisher that preferred to produce a satanic Bible and turn mine down, well, you know, I immediately went somewhere else and we got it done.
steve bannon
I've got to tell you, Lee, it couldn't have come at a better time.
What would be, you just got put into the Hall of Fame of CPAC for the conservatives.
You put out this Bible, you know, putting your shoulder to the wheel.
We've got a couple of minutes.
What advice would you give the American people?
We're starting, this is Ash Wednesday, we're starting Lent.
Easter's, what, about six weeks away.
What would be your recommendation to the American people of thinking through the spiritual war that's at the basis of this, sir?
unidentified
We talk about that all the time, and that is, at some time in your life, you're going to drop to your knees, and you're going to wonder where to go.
And there's only one place to go, and that's you're going to need the faith of Jesus Christ to help you through any situation that's coming.
And believe me, you're going to have a storm that comes.
And this whole world is under a storm right now, with Russian aggression, and those people who are killing Americans and killing Christians in different places in the world.
We need to wake up and really handle this.
Let's get together as an American team.
Let's all come together under faith, because that's what you're going to need the most.
steve bannon
Lee, in the coming weeks and months, is there any speeches you're going to give?
Concerts?
How can people get more access to you and learn more about it?
We're going to send everybody to the site to check the Bible out, but how do they get more to understand Lee Greenwood better?
unidentified
I appreciate that, Steve.
We're going to be touring a lot this year, so go to my website, LeeGreenwood.com, and find out what city we're going to be in.
We'll do a lot of events this year, and watch for us in the holidays, because certainly that's an important time when we can express our faith as well as patriotism and show how much we love our country.
steve bannon
Lee, once again, from this audience, from everybody, people down at CPAC, and people don't realize the, because you're very self-effacing and you never talk or brag about yourself, what you do behind the scenes for this country, for patriots, for veterans, is extraordinary.
So for everybody in the War Room audience, I want to say thank you, and thank you so much.
The God Bless the USA Bible, divinely inspired concept to do it, and I got to tell you, it's had such a tremendous impact on our folks already, so we just want to thank you.
unidentified
Thanks so very much, Steve.
You have a great day.
steve bannon
Thank you.
Lee Greenwood.
So right now, go to GodBlessTheUSABible.com and just check it out.
You see what, I think we had a picture up there earlier of him giving one to Don Jr.
at CPAC.
Lee Greenwood's a very special guy.
People know him as a musician, as an entertainer, as one of historically America's, what, biggest selling musicians and entertainers, but he's a lot more than that.
The idea of putting this together One of the reasons we talk about things like the dollar and currency is that is part of the system as it's currently constructed, right?
You know, most guys would then walk away, in particular with his fame, he's just got more stuff to do, they then say, no, no, no, no, I'm gonna put this together and we're gonna figure out how to get this thing out there to people.
Pretty extraordinary.
And now more than ever.
One of the reasons we talk about things like the dollar and currency is that is part of the system as it's currently constructed, right?
And the powers that be are supposed to be so much smarter than you, so much more dialed in than you.
And I got to tell you right now, you could see it last night with Biden.
unidentified
We are in a very, very, very dangerous time.
steve bannon
We don't understand we're playing with fire.
And to have these people that are making these comments and making these decisions like Powell, it's beyond irresponsible.
It's reckless.
So we're entering uncharted territory.
I've said this from the beginning.
We're entering totally uncharted territory.
And he just made a statement.
The world can have more than one prime reserve currency.
OK, tough guy.
Let's let's check that out.
Make sure you go to GodBlessTheUSABible.com.
Check everything out there.
It's got the King James Version of the Bible.
It's got all the founding documents.
I don't think it's a better way to start Lent, the season of Lent.
I want to thank Father Prevone for being on here on Ash Wednesday.
We've got a lot to talk about.
Five o'clock is going to be electric, as every show is now, that we're going to walk through.
And people can understand, if Biden would make the case last night, We're going to actually present the evidence and let you come to the conclusion about the vital national security interests of the United States, about how that weighs and measure about the invasion of our southern border, and what he is doing to the bedrocks of our economy, not just our energy production, but the dollar, the Federal Reserve note.
What we are doing right now is beyond reckless.
It is dangerous.
And we will explain that all to you and how it interconnects to your life, your family's life, your children's life, your community's life, your nation's life, and the world itself.
See you back here at 5 o'clock.
