| And ask them if this is all true, what's going on. | ||
| They said they didn't mean to intimidate anyone or make anyone feel intimidated, they just wanted to ask some questions. | ||
| So I wrote the reporter back and said, you can ask me the questions, I'll answer, we'll have a discussion. | ||
| Sole condition is that I can record the entire conversation because the CBC's credibility in the eyes of the public is, in my mind, rightfully compromised. | ||
| But the media, the state-funded media, the state-funded broadcasting companies are in fact reaching out to the donors. | ||

| The second question being people who donated prior to this Emergencies Act declaration It's arguable how far the government will go. | ||
| Whether or not they're going to freeze accounts for donations previously made to a registered not-for-profit, which was not sanctioned by any court, we'll see. | ||
| I think people need to maybe not panic quite so much. | ||
| Going forward, I would be unfortunately much more careful as to whether or not one should donate, because the declaration has been made. | ||
| It has not been ratified by the House of Commons and the Senate, but the declaration has been made. | ||
| It's uncharted territories and people should be more cautious, but retroactive, going after freezing of accounts, I'll be shocked, but not surprised. | ||

| The truckers backing down, is Castro-Trudeau escalating? | ||
| So, there has been a notice that has been delivered to the truckers from the police, basically saying, Cease and desist, disperse. | ||
| This is all illegal. | ||
| If you don't leave, you could get arrested, have problems crossing the border. | ||
| It's an unsigned, undated notice that the police are issuing, handing out in Ottawa. | ||
| I was not there myself. | ||
| I've seen it. | ||
| I was watching the live streams. | ||
| What force this notice has to be determined? | ||
| Again, no directives under the Emergencies Act have been ratified by Parliament. | ||
| So they made the declaration, but there have been no directives that have been approved, voted on by the House of Commons and the Senate. | ||
| So it's unclear what the force of this notice is, but it's been handed out certainly for intimidation factor, intimidation tactics. | ||
| The truckers, from what I've seen, are not going anywhere. | ||
| I'm going to go back tomorrow again and interview and ask, see what's going on. | ||
| But by all accounts, they're not going anywhere. | ||
| So I think this is to create a little intimidation to deter people from going back down on the weekend by creating the semblance that they will be breaking the law. | ||
