| Yes, basically in a nutshell what's happening is that this is a grassroots movement that has sparked outrage, you know, to the American people seeing the way that the government in Canada has treated their citizens. | ||
| This is just an organic grassroots movement that's initiated with everyone trying to show support to one another. | ||

| So basically what they've done is just, you know, put their hands on to work in a, in a compassionate manner to make, you know, the attempt to do some relief work. | ||

| Okay, what is going on at the Port Huron border here with the Blue Water Bridge is that over the last few days here, we started seeing a ton of congestion. | ||
| When they shut down the Ambassador Bridge for what's going on in Canada, they rerouted everything. | ||
| To Port Huron to the Blue Water Bridge. | ||
| Within hours we were backed up for hours on the freeway. | ||
| We were backed up probably about eight miles and that's one of our major international hubs to Canada, especially with the USDA being there. | ||
| So there were some local people and individual people that tried to network together to get things over there because on a local and state level We were not getting any type of support from what appeared to be the municipalities. | ||
| There was nothing being done. | ||
| So there were individuals in St. | ||
| Clair County and within the Thumb area who were actually trying to just get out there and offer some emergency relief and, you know, alleviation for what was going on with the people that were stranded in their trucks and in traffic alone. | ||
| They were stuck for hours. | ||
| We were not getting any cooperation. | ||
| We were having a hard time communicating and networking because of the censorship that's been going on. | ||
| So we all decided locally to try to get together with Dixie and, you know, she came along a little bit later, but we were just trying locally to get things going just so we could help all these truckers. | ||
| And then when we found out that there were other things taking place, we knew that we had to prepare for this so that it wouldn't happen again. | ||
| So, Our main role in setting up the headquarters and getting things going was to just take control of what was happening in our small community. | ||
| We're a small farming community here and we didn't have a real way to try to get the people help and we didn't want to leave them stranded out there. | ||
| We wanted to offer the compassion and the things that they needed. | ||
| They didn't have a way to use bathrooms. | ||
| There was nothing set up and just the fact that this wasn't being set up At a local or state level, and the media was not putting out what was going on. | ||
| Not even, locally we had no idea what was going on on the other side of our bridges. | ||
| And we have three bridges and a ferry that connects with Canada. | ||
| And we were uninformed, completely uninformed. | ||
| Absolutely. | ||
| So for example, right now we got the notification I want to say it's Facebook, one of the groups of the convoys and across the river, they're like, hey guys, we're going to do this. | ||
| Can you guys come and just wave your flags right across from each other? | ||
| Because unfortunately, families have been separated. | ||
| You know, we're advocating for legal issues as well. | ||
| We're also having another event going on tomorrow in New York. | ||
| So the convoys are moving and the convoys are not, you know, led by one person individually. | ||
| I mean, it's so many different people coming together to just alleviate some of the relief, like Kelly was saying, hey, this is happening, there's nothing we can do to stop it. | ||
| Why not work together to just, you know, we saw the news that the Canadians were having to, you know, have their toilets, you know, what is it, the porta-potties taken and whatnot. | ||
| So we didn't want to have to run into stuff like that. | ||
| So this is an emergency response idea that we have. | ||
| You know, sometimes we might not have to use it, but if we do, hey, at least we're prepared to help many people. | ||
| Now, what I want to hear from Dixie, Dixie, you want to tell us some stories about, you know, your channel, how the kids, you know, interacted with truckers. This is beautiful. You have the truckers, you know, getting questions asked, like children and singing songs. Go ahead, Dixie. | ||
| Yes, my channel is pretty much for families, kids and truckers. These kids come on and talk to us daily. | ||
| It's really nice response, but it's sad hearing their stories because they are kind of locked out. | ||
| They're on lockdown still, especially in Canada. | ||

| And they have stories where they don't get to see their family. | ||

| They can't see people at a doctor's office. | ||
| They can't do anything. | ||
| And man, I tell you what, if America was like that, we wouldn't be standing for it. | ||

| So I understand what they're doing and why they're doing it. | ||
| After talking to these kids and after talking to their parents and all these other people we talked to, the kids ask the trucker questions, they pray to us, they read from us from the Bible, they sing us songs. | ||
| This is like an entire family united on our channel. | ||
| And it's Canadians, Americans, and all across the globe. | ||
| It's not just us and Canadians on there anymore. | ||
| So this is a big deal. | ||
| And it's a blessing to be a part of something like that. | ||

| So as that rose in our polling, we wanted to ask people why that was. | ||
| And we gave them basically what mimicked the CPI in groceries. | ||
| Every time the grocery store kept coming back with like half, you know, if you have eight things to choose from and 50% are telling you groceries, then it's something to look into. | ||
| So this month, and this is only voters, which is, you know, they're going to elect representatives Uh, in November that I'm, I'm happy to see other people do adults, but we just care about voters. | ||
| So we asked them about very typical items, meat and poultry. | ||
| Are they seeing shortages and price increases with each category? | ||
| Meat and poultry, eggs, uh, fruits and vegetables, canned goods. | ||
| Yeah. | ||
| And if you can see shortages up there, basically between two and 10 upwards of four and 10 on these, on these, um, In these categories, they're telling us they're seeing regular shortages of these products when they go to the grocery store. | ||
| And occasional also, if you combine the two of them, give you big majorities for every category. | ||
| Meat and poultry was a little bit, you know, it's dominating. | ||
| It's the biggest problem for people. | ||
| Seafood was a little bit surprising to us because we know for a fact that this category has been impacted by the supply chains a lot, both with shortages and increases. | ||
| If you look at undecided, I think a lot of people just don't eat seafood. | ||
| About one in five said they don't know because they don't eat seafood. | ||
| But looking at something like the price increases, Steve, in meat and poultry, a majority of the country, a majority of the voting electorate Hold on, hang on a second. | ||
| We haven't had inflation like this in 40 years. | ||
| And in fact, if you calculate like you did 40 years ago, the inflation is much higher. | ||
| That's what people are actually seeing. | ||

| When 80 percent of the country tells you that there are rapid price increases in meat and poultry, they can't find paper products, canned vegetables or canned goods was actually one of the worst. | ||
| Fruit and vegetables surprised us the most. | ||
| So in the end, Steve, I think that we did this because there's really no way to sell a narrative with numbers like this. | ||
| So the administration's going to try to limit the impact of this issue. | ||
| And they're going to try to basically minimize the argument that Republicans are going to make. | ||
| The numbers are just too great. | ||
| You can't pull the wool over people's eyes when 80% of the voting electorate tells you that meat and poultry is becoming difficult to pay for. | ||
