| Well, it's not only NBC, which is in full-on panic mode right now, but also the CCP itself in Beijing. | ||
| As every last pretence of controlling their COVID outbreak, now collapses in front of our eyes. | ||
| And we know this is happening, we know that their official narrative has collapsed by the way that they suddenly, subtly and suddenly invert it from one moment to the next. | ||
| So I'm just going to give a brief rundown of exactly how this crisis has developed and then frame today's events in the context of this changing narrative. | ||
| So first of all, back in December, we were talking about the outbreak that they had in Xi'an City when the world basically just made a few references in the press and then moved on. | ||
| And the CCP said, don't worry, folks, it's not going to reach Beijing. | ||
| Well, then a couple of weeks later, it reached Tianjin port on the border of Beijing. | ||
| And the CCP said, don't worry, folks, We've got this triple-locked, closed-loop bubble, the most secure separation mankind's ever seen. | ||
| Even if Covid arrives in Beijing city itself, it won't enter the closed loop. | ||
| Now what has happened, in this total inversion of the reality, Steve, is that they are now saying, and this is the story, that The conflagration of virus inside the bubble is so bad, the CCP is telling citizens of Beijing, don't worry, this is contained within the bubble and it won't be escaping. | ||
| You remember a week or so ago, Steve, we pointed out that the fear of the outbreak, which is already raging in Beijing itself, was so bad, they'd said that should a car crash occur between the hotel And a stadium or a venue of the Olympics that ordinary Chinese people shouldn't go to the aid of any athletes injured in a In an incident to stop the spread from Beijing into the closed loop. | ||
| The spin on this in China has now inverted 100%. | ||
| The reason they're not allowed to go to the aid of anybody who is potentially injured in a car crash is to not infect Beijing with this virus that is raging out of control. | ||
| So how bad, Steve, is it raging out of control? | ||
| In the last 11, 12 days, the CCP now declares And obviously these figures are fictional, but they give you an indication. | ||
| 353 people now who are Games participants have been declared positive. | ||
| And if you want to know what the proportion of that is, as we discussed yesterday, the 11 participants who are now hospitalised because of this, it's about 3%. | ||
| Now, here's the threat, Steve. | ||
| Because in two weeks' time, once this virus has raged its way through, everyone's going to be leaving Beijing and then going back to their homes in the West. | ||
| And as we've been pointing out, this is right now in the moment of phasing out the lockdown and the Covid controls. | ||
| What is this percentage? | ||
| It's 3%, right? | ||
| And we're not talking about oxygenarian Covid comorbidity. | ||
| We're talking about the fittest people on the face of the planet. | ||
| In hospital, right now, we don't know what the variant is, but it's not Omicron, or if it is Omicron, it seems to be as contagious as Omicron, but significantly more damaging. | ||
| And this, as we've said right along, Steve, we've been pioneering the world coverage on this. | ||
| This is going to be these COVID Squid Games. | ||

| What we've seen though is that the military, so I got another letter this week where the military, from a, of all places, the Texas National Guard, One of the people there openly saying that we're going to reject all the religious exemptions and we don't want doctors giving medical exemptions. | ||
| And what they actually say is they view it as a command issue, not a medical issue. | ||
| So if a doctor in the military thinks a soldier shouldn't have this for a medical reason, they're supposed to shut up and take orders according to this document. | ||

| This is a disaster in the military, and they've created a situation where it's very, very difficult for our soldiers to fight this. | ||
| We do, however, have quite a number of military personnel stepping forward, and quite a number of JAG officers and others who, because of the publicity we've gotten on this in the last week or so, are now willing to step up and do something. | ||

| Ed Dowd is a heavy hitter, former portfolio manager over at BlackRock, one of the smartest guys on Wall Street. | ||
| And Zero Hedge actually took his tweets, our interview with him, other interviews he did, and made an article out of it. | ||
| The article headline, they tried to be cute, but for Wall Street guys it made sense. | ||
| He said you want to go long funeral homes, short, was it short insurers or short farmer? | ||
| Short the insurers, which is really a compilation of what Ed Dowd's been talking about. | ||
| So Ed, I wanted to get you back on here. | ||
| Explain to us what Zero Hedge aggregated up your thinking, right? | ||
| Walk us through specifically what message are you trying to get out there right now? | ||
| Well, first of all, before I begin, I want to say that when I said I was going to be a lightning rod on this issue last week, I think what people failed to understand is people thought I was going to take heat. | ||
| What ended up happening is people started reaching out to me and a top former sell-side ranked insurance analyst reached out to me. | ||
| And a lot of the analysis you're seeing is done by him. | ||
| And and he and I collaborated on this, so I want to give him a shout out. | ||
| He has to remain anonymous due to personal reasons, but the firepower behind this analysis isn't just me. | ||
| It's Wall Street, former number one ranked analyst on Wall Street in the insurance sector. | ||
| Basically, the bottom line is this. | ||
| The insurance companies reported this week we saw mortality up in 21 versus 20 despite vaccines. | ||
| That's number one issue. | ||
| Number two, we saw a spike in younger working age individuals, which also coincided with the vaccine mandates in Q3. | ||
| So that's just devastating right there. | ||
| And I also want to give just a quick five companies that reported some of the numbers we're seeing. | ||
| These are Q4 benefit ratio results versus baseline of 2019 pre-pandemic. | ||
| Unum saw plus 36%. | ||
| Lincoln National plus 57%. | ||
| Unum saw plus 36 percent. | ||
| Lincoln National plus 57 percent. | ||
| Prudential plus 41 percent. | ||
| Reinsurance Group of America plus 21 percent. | ||
| And Hartford plus 32 percent. | ||
| So, okay, hold it right now. | ||
| But hang on right there, right there. | ||
| Hang on, hang on, hang on. | ||
| Those guys are so good at doing the actual tables. | ||
| Those percentages are mind blowing at the scale of those, correct? | ||
| And not just they're up, it's the scale that they're up. | ||
| Is this correct? | ||
| That's correct. | ||
| And they seem to be, a lot of them seem to accelerate in the second half of the year. | ||
| Which coincided with mandates. | ||
| So, if these vaccines were working, these death rates from 2019 should have gone down. | ||
| They didn't. | ||
| They've gone up. | ||
| So, this is a disaster in the making, in my estimation. | ||

| When you see these things across the board, what was the explanation by the companies and what's the Wall Street consensus building on what's the explanation for these kind of over-the-top increases? | ||
| So, the CEOs and the CFOs didn't say the vaccines were the cause, obviously. | ||
| A lot of them are expressing uncertainty. | ||
| They're using terms like COVID related, indirect effects of COVID. | ||
| These are CEO and CFO speak for they're going to punt on the issue. | ||
| And quite honestly, I don't think they know. | ||
| A lot of the executives on the calls expressed uncertainty. | ||
| And we know that. | ||
| OK, but the research. | ||
| OK, but hang on. | ||
| I know I got that, but that's a happy talk they want to put forward. | ||
| They don't answer the question. | ||
| The guys are betting money on this every day. | ||
| What happened to the stocks? | ||
| I mean, if you're not getting a right answer and you think it's the vaccine covert related, because that means you can continue to go on and you're paying out more money. | ||
| The operating income is going to be lowered. | ||
| Therefore, my profits are going to be lowered. | ||
| Therefore, the stock should drop. | ||
| So if they're given these bullshit, excuse me, boom, there we go right there with a A little penalty, well deserved. | ||
| If you're going out there with this spin, if you're going out there with this spin, the research analysts and independent guys like used to be portfolio managers and the shorts should be all over this. | ||
| So what's the general consensus coming out of their non-answers? | ||
| I suspect those stocks will start to come under scrutiny and pressure. | ||
| People are going to start doing the work. | ||
| A lot of people agree with me and are calling me and I don't have time to answer all the incoming Emails and text messages, but sentiments turning. | ||
| The bottom line is this in 2020. | ||
| They had, you know, not good results in 2021. | ||
| They'd even worse results. | ||
| So all you have to do is, you know, put two and two together and unless these vaccine mandates and programs are stopped, the insurance companies are in big trouble and whether they say it or not, that's what's going to happen. | ||
| So, and you know, we also uncovered, but hang on, but hang on. | ||
| They could, but they could argue that that's coming from the unvaccinated. | ||
| Did they, did they argue that, that it could have come from the unvaccinated? | ||
| Absolutely. | ||
| Some of them actually said that, but you know, they have, they don't have the data. | ||
| They didn't present any data that suggested that they just speculated. | ||
| So are people, are people holding them back? | ||
| I mean, what, what research analysts or who, besides yourself, and I see the Xeor Hedge, who's some of the smartest guys around, aggregated your thinking in a brilliant article. | ||
| I want to make sure this article is up everywhere, all our chat rooms and on Getter. | ||
| But, but who is taking the lead in calling these guys out or are they just going to roll with this? | ||
| No one on the sell side that's currently employed has figured this out. | ||
| And the way this works, It's fear of missing out, and I hope that by exposing what I think is the reason, the rest of Wall Street will start to talk about it. | ||
| And if not them, the long-only portfolio managers and the hedge funds will lob in phone calls to them, and we should soon see the streets start talking about this. | ||
| And if they don't, then they're not doing their job. | ||
| Well, the way that the street is by publicity, after Zero Hedge, Are you being booked now on CNBC? | ||
| Is the Financial Times of London calling you to do an interview? | ||
| Are you going on Bloomberg? | ||
| As your exposure outside of shows like ours and others, because I've seen some of your interviews, are you getting traction with the mainstream business media? | ||

| And in September, we saw an alarming trend from the company called Carriage Services. | ||
| They saw increases in contracts volume, so to speak, a plus 13% year over year in August. | ||
| They actually broke it out by month and a plus 28% increase in September. | ||
| of last year versus the prior year of 2020. So basically, deaths accelerated in August and September, and we also know that September 9th mandates were implemented by Biden. This is alarming. | ||
| But it is. | ||
| But, you know, there may not be causality, right? | ||
| So my point is, we've got to get to the bottom of it, because a lot of these guys are going to argue, oh, no, no, no, no, no. | ||
