I have some facts on these preparations that will reinforce our commitment to NATO and to the NATO Response Force and increase our readiness.
Secretary Austin has placed a range of units in the United States on a heightened preparedness to deploy, which increases our readiness to provide forces if NATO should activate the NRF, or if other situations develop.
All told, the number of forces that the Secretary has placed on heightened alert comes up to to about 8,500 personnel.
The administration says that they put these 8,500 troops on heightened alert.
That means that they could be ready to deploy to NATO countries within a matter of days.
Now at the same time they're saying no decisions have been made There's been no sign that the Russians are interested in de-escalating or moving troops away or taking tensions down quite the contrary.
John Kirby was saying yesterday that even as all of this is happening Putin is showing no signs of backing down. Take a listen.
There's been no sign that the Russians are interested in de-escalating or moving troops away or taking tensions down quite the quite the contrary.
You can see an increased sense of concern here by the administration and by our NATO allies.
Now look there is a lot of heightened concern.
Obviously, President Biden had that meeting with NATO allies yesterday.
He came out of it saying that it was a very, very good meeting and that NATO allies and Europe and the United States were totally united on how to move forward.
brianna keilar
In the meantime, as tensions are ratcheting up between Russia and Ukraine, one Democratic congressman says his office is getting phone calls, repeatedly getting these phone calls, and they're from fans of Fox's chief propagandist, Tucker Carlson, saying that the U.S.
should be siding with Russia over Ukraine.
What, you may say?
Well, you wouldn't be surprised if you watched his pro-Russia stance every night.
tucker carlson
All of them are promoting war against Russia on behalf of our new and deeply beloved ally, the government of Ukraine.
Vladimir Putin is our most dangerous enemy, they scream.
We can't let him hurt Ukraine!
So it turns out Russiagate was actually more effective even than we'd realized.
The Steele dossier has been debunked, but in Washington, the theme remains in force.
Russia!
Russia is bad!
Apparently, Ukraine's eastern border with Russia, unlike, say, our southern border with Mexico, is a sacred boundary created by God that must be protected at all costs up to and including American lives.
Why is it disloyal to side with Russia Easy answer there.
One's a democracy, the other's a brutal autocracy.
foreign countries that don't care anything about the United States.
Kind of strange.
brianna keilar
Easy answer there.
One's a democracy, the other's a brutal autocracy.
The real question here may be, why is Rupert Murdoch allowing this anti-democratic BS on the air?
steve bannon
And they said what is, they said Tucker Carlson's a propagandist.
And that's the drivel you're hearing from CNN.
The war toxins are sounding.
OK, so we're going to put in a perspective today to cover another implosion in the financial markets today.
I think Dow opened down 2 percent.
Nasdaq's getting crushed across the board.
We're going to have an update on all that.
I want to make sure everybody that bought.
Can I get this real quick?
We're kind of producing this on the fly today.
Down, down, 670 points, almost 2 points at the Open.
S&P down 2.4%, 105 points at the Open.
NASDAQ down 2.62%.
S&P down 2.4%, 105 points at the Open, NASDAQ down 2.62%.
I want all you suckers, that's what you are, all you suckers that listened to Jim Cramer yesterday with his pom-poms out, you know, buy the dip.
It's a buying thing.
Historic day yesterday.
Massive drop.
Retail brought it back.
Not the institutional investors, but retail.
Retail brought it back in the biggest surge of retail, I think, buying in history.
To bring this market back yesterday and of course Jim Cramer's on with his pom-poms last night and in fact Cramer it was so important for the shills over there and these are the pom-pom got people got their pom-poms out for this Biden financial plan economic plan.
I think they took off part of Shark Tank, which is their biggest show.
I think Shark Tank gets more viewers during Shark Tank than all of CNBC combined.
But remember, CNBC's direct viewership is not as important.
It's on every trading floor.
Everybody's watching it all the time.
The Russell, which is, you know, the Russell is all the small caps and it's more domestically centered.
Russell's down 2.2.
These are called implosions, okay?
On Wall Street, there's an old saw, you know, off the trading desk of Goldman Sachs when I was there.
Never catch a falling knife.
No, but, you know, Jim Cramer, buy the dip, buy the dip.
There's buying opportunities.
So, I hope you're enjoying your buying opportunities from yesterday.
This is, I don't even know how the SEC's not all over this.
I want my trusty assistant here to continue to update me.
I'm sure he's going to be bouncing around today.
But here, remember, I want to go back to the beginning.
This is the official two-year anniversary of when we shifted from war on impeachment to war on pandemic, when everybody's telling me you're crazy, this thing doesn't mean anything.
And remember, I laid out a theory of the case of what we were going to present, and to make sure you understood nomenclature, and process, and process and event, statics and dynamics of process, critical path.
All of that, so that you can have your own mental map.
At War Room, what we try to accomplish is to not tell you, but to show you, provide you information that you can make your own analysis off of, information that you can come and get your own mental map.
And then, once you understand it, that's when you can really use your agency, because this show is all about agency and your human agency.
And we laid out, and here was the building blocks for this, when we very first show we started, he said, look, there's this military lab in Wuhan that has, what has escaped there is this SARS-2 virus, right?
And this is a bioweapons lab managed by the PLA.
And we had, you know, Dr. Steven Hatfield on the first show as one of our consultants.
He went to the White House shortly after.
He had come from Fort Detrick, which is the Headquarters of the Biological Defense for the United States, since we've signed a treaty that you can't have offensive biological weapons because they're too dangerous.
In China, the Chinese Communist Party has lied about that forever.
Lied about it when they first entered the treaty.
They lied about it again when we let them into the World Trade Organization in the late 90s.
We caught them lying.
They sort of cleaned it up.
They lied about it.
When they actually went into this whole thing to get P4 labs which as you know the highest labs and there's a great piece in the New York Post today that outlines all this we'll get to.
But just a step back you had a this event that we knew was going to change things coming out of the Wuhan lab because they were shutting down all of China.
Hubei province immediately in the quarantine 14 million people in in Wuhan and Hubei province which is the size of France in the population of France.
But we said the biological weapon or the virus whatever you want to call it is going to cause a financial crisis in a massive drop in aggregate demand and plus on the supply side it will completely disrupt the supply chains because all the supply we've shipped essentially all of our supply chains
Over to the Chinese Communist Party because the slave labor of the Chinese people and the party of Davos, the World Economic Forum, Wall Street, the globalist world corporations, they're in on the game.
They are all players in doing that, by the way, with your money, with institutional capital from your pension funds and from your insurance policy.
So you're going to have a virus, right, that triggers a financial crisis.
Right?
That triggers a, or economic crisis, that triggers a capital markets crisis, because then you're going to have stocks imploding, the bond situation, they're going to come out and they're going to try to meet these massive drops in aggregate demand because they're going to try to take remedies of how to control this.
And those are going to be bridging mechanisms.
Remember that?
We talked about the bridging mechanisms.
That's these stimulus plans, right?
The last stimulus plan being the 1.9 trillion that we argued against When Biden, the illegitimate Biden regime came in and they had every branch of government.
And everybody was all rah-rah, and his approval rating was at 60%.
We sat here and go, he's illegitimate, but more importantly, these guys are reckless, radical, and right now you don't need this, but they're going to put this last stimulus plan of 1.9 trillion, and that's just going to throw NAPOM on to, we already don't have a demand problem anymore, but it's going to throw NAPOM onto a dumpster fire, and you know, Cortez and Navarro said they're going, this is going to cause not temporary inflation or transitory inflation, but real inflation.
But we said that the virus, coupled with the financial economic crisis, coupled with the triggering of the capital markets crisis across the world as they go to zero interest rates to try to bail themselves out, just like in 2008, which we haven't gotten over.
And the numbers are going to start adding to our debt and to the balance of the Federal Reserve, which they never want to talk about, which is now sitting at eight or nine trillion dollars.
Over and above the $28, $29 trillion face amount of debt on the balance sheet of the United States, which, by the way, it's full faith and credit.
unidentified
It's you.
steve bannon
This audience, you are the support.
You're the person that pays it, right?
You're never in the room to make the decision, but you're the person that pays it.
In addition, just remember, there are contingent liabilities around the U.S.
dollar and around these obligations, contractual obligations we have for Medicaid and Medicare and Social Security and all these things.
The net present value, depending on how you discount it back, the net present value, the contingent liabilities is over a hundred trillion dollars, a hundred trillion dollars.
But the whole world, because of these zeros, the whole world is awash In debt.
Massively in debt.
We've kind of kicked the can down the road from 2008 by leveraging up and just creating phony money.
Fiat currency, right?
And the Chinese central bank is even worse than the Federal Reserve.
They've got a massive asset bubble in real estate.
We have bubbles all over the place, including the stock market, because they just keep printing cash, quantitative easing, forcing money into the system to keep the stock market up.
And we said, eventually, The lab leak of the virus, with the economic and financial problems, within the capital markets problems, eventually you're going to get to a geopolitical problem.
And this geopolitical problem is like going to be staring into the abyss.
Okay?
And we need strong, focused, determined, steely resolved leadership that in the fog of war can see exactly what the thing itself is and not get sidetracked by not just chasing rabbits, but more importantly, putting your emphasis or doing or putting your center of gravity of the crisis In the wrong place.
Let's go back to the beginning.
How did we get here?
Let's go back to 2019.
In fact, let's go back to the day that we decided to shift this show to War and Pandemic.
It was in New York City every year, annually.
Miles Aguo, GTV and GNews, and we're honored to be on.
They distribute us internationally and they've got us in Mandarin and Japanese.
They do a several day broadcast on Chinese New Year's and at that time it just happened to coincide to be like the day after the signing of the treaty.
Remember the Trump's trade deal in the White House?
So you're going to have Navarro and all these guys and it was Kyle Bass and Bill Gertz and myself and others.
That was sitting on this a not-for-profit board he had at the time before we got some Chinese nationals and Chinese overseas Chinese to sit on it.
So we were there and all three of us going to be on the broadcast and that's when we heard that Chinese New Year's was going to be canceled because of this because of this this problem.
And at the time, it became quite evident, and Peter Navarro outlined this to President Trump, and that's why on the 29th, against the fighting of Tony Fauci, that we secured China, that you couldn't come into the United States from China, and you were quarantined, first time in 50 years and quarantined.
These are all actions.
President Trump took at the advice and recommendations of Peter Navarro against the advice of Tony Fauci, who was saying, no, it's not that big a deal.
This all took place in the Situation Room.
It's all in Peter Navarro's book.
It's been in other books.
It's in Josh Rogan's book, a part of it, about the fight against the Chinese Communist Party.
And we know that Navarro's outlined it clearly.
They exacerbate the spread of the virus.
At the same time, They started to make, with One Belt One Road, more of a focused plan with President Trump, the election being stolen.
Because remember, it was all the pandemic, it was all the virus that caused the mail-in ballots, and nobody could go out, and they had to have all this, and they changed all these election laws, and they didn't have the signatures.
Wisconsin to Pennsylvania to Georgia, you've had all these problems, right?
And the election gets stolen and Biden's in and next thing you know, the Chinese Communist Party is out and it's now trying to control the Eurasian landmaster and all this.
At the same time, understanding the Silicon Valley West, that all of our chips, Are made essentially the high-end chips are all made in Taiwan.
The South China Sea, in Taiwan, get to be a hotspot, in Burma, right?
The encirclement of India is obvious and the debacle that we have this past summer in Afghanistan shows the world that we have this feckless leadership.
And so here we're in.
I'm going to take a commercial break.
I've got Ben Harnwell in Rome.
I got Frank Gaffney.
I got Colonel Mills.
We got a whole set of stuff.
We're going to go through economics, politics, capital markets.
What's going to happen to your 401k?
We're on the edge of an abyss.
On the edge of an abyss.
And we have this illegitimate regime that is now playing wag the dog with their media partners.
Back in a moment.
In the war room.
unidentified
It was what happened if you didn't partake.
But back then, anyone who refused to get vaccinated would get ratted out immediately because we knew that person could hurt other people.
The commonweal was a commonweal.
Now we're engaged in a similar struggle with COVID, and Eisenhower would be aghast.
We have immunocompromised people who are incubators for every variant to come, walking around lawfully unvaccinated.
That's psychotic.
We have companies that have tried hard to get people vaccinated, now backing down.
We have governors who want to be president by grandstanding on a foolish states' right issue, the right to get sick and get other people sick.
So it's time to admit that we have to go to war against COVID.
Require vaccination universally.
Have the military run it.
If you don't want to get vaccinated, you better be ready to prove your conscientious objector status in court.
And even then, you need to help in the war effort by staying home until we finally beat the So it requires one of the things that I want to do, and we're contemplating figuring out how to do that.
We are contemplating how to get done.
And that is, how do we move in a direction where the world itself is vaccinated?
It's not enough just to vaccinate 340 million, fully vaccinate 340 million people in the United States.
That's not enough.
It's not enough to do it here.
We have to do it, and we have to do a lot more than we're doing now.
And that's why we have continued to keep the commitment of providing vaccines and available cures for the rest of the world.
To me, we have the strongest economy perhaps I have ever seen.
It was breathtaking.
You heard Dan Niles in our opening piece.
I hate it, but I had to buy it.
Apparently, others did as well.
Right, that's what I said to the investing club this morning at 1026.
I said, listen, I know it's painful.
Hold your nose.
Find something to buy.
A lot of people did.
Now look, there were still 57% of the stocks for Dan, only 39% up on the New York Stock Exchange.
That's not exactly what we like.
I understand what Mike Wilson said, which is that you I want to disagree with him, I understand.
If you don't think the fix is in...
steve bannon
Right?
Just think about it.
We're just going to connect some dots here.
Here's a guy that argues for basically FEMA camps, the military to run a full vaccination process, right?
That you have to go to court and prove that you're a conscientious objector.
The burden is on you as an American citizen to prove that.
And even if you prove it, you've got to stay locked up, which means no job, no income, you know, and all the psychological damage that comes from that.
Which by the way of the last 24 hours unconstitutional state in New York about the mass you got a firestorm all over a federal judge unconstitutional about the mandates the vaccine mandates for the small business for the government workers every court striking it down.
You had this mass rally when I get to the some of the testimony yesterday for in front of Senator Johnson hair raising.
Right another big report coming out I got today for out of out of MIT from MIT professor and others that all the startling about the Moderna sort of information coming out every day no but Kramer sitting there saying we got to run this right and then Biden his solution here's the solution the solution is I'm going to vaccine 340 million plus Americans you're throwing in the illegal aliens in there too okay why not plus
The world, we're only going to get through this, get to herd immunity when we vaccinate the world, 7.25 billion people.
And part of the testimony yesterday in the stream of op-ed pieces or analytical pieces from Dr. Malone and Peter Navarro, Peter's memo started Warp Speed.
It was his memo to President Trump that got the whole ball rolling.
And what they never intended, ever intended anywhere, And Malone is the inventor, or at least part of the inventor, one of the inventors of mRNA, the enzyme that makes things happen, right?
They're the underpinning of these experimental gene therapies, which they are, that he says, hey, using as a blunt force instrument actually makes it potentially dangerous where you could have mutations coming off a leaky solution, and then Bob's your uncle, right?
You've really, in uncharted territory.
So in all of this, and remember, just to keep in perspective, we have the continued resolution.
We have not actually funded the U.S.
unidentified
government.
steve bannon
Everybody understand this.
We have not actually funded this government for this year by the rules that are laid out.
We have a thing called continued resolution.
So we're kicking the can down the road.
And that is because I keep telling people there's a trillion and a half dollar structural deficit that we have no earthy idea how we're going to pay for.
They're not going to be able to raise taxes on it.
The Chinese and the Japanese have had enough of our bonds, right?
They're kind of tapped out.
They'll buy some, but not... And so they just have to continue to print money.
And this goes back to you.
You're the full faith and credit of the United States.
So in these multiple converging crises, Right?
What better, what better thing to do, what better thing to do than to go, what the founders and the wisdom of our framers, and General Washington, and the crew, and his crew, don't go abroad looking for dragons to slay.
Is that come down over?
Now, we've had to do this three times in the 20th century, in World War I, and in World War II, and in the Cold War, and all of those, let's be blunt, The collapse of the empires of Europe in World War I. They're not taking care of business in the rise of this kind of atheistic fascism, right?
And then later, another criminal gang, the Soviet Union, that for a host of reasons, part of it because of people in the U.S.
government not taking care of business, let that metastasize three times.
At the cost of, you know, trillions and trillions of dollars, but more importantly, the blood of multiple generations.
Right?
We had to take care of business.
And now we're in a situation where we have the greatest existential threat that this republic has ever faced.
We have an ancient and honorable civilization, I would say the most ancient on earth, more so than even the Egyptians and the Persians, right, passed down from 10,000 years, and at sometimes the height of science and education and all that, this ancient civilization that and they talk about democracy and a brand of towns and they go well they're a talkacy and we're looking for democracies you have 1.4 billion people
we have the la beijing that are enslaved by a transnational criminal organization that happens to be in business and it's a profitable business for all these groups whether it's the davos group or the wall street guys or the city of london or all the world corporations and you can tell they're all cow talent to them and in the most infected These are guys that won't walk across the street in Washington, D.C.
without a mask, but we're sending everybody in billions of dollars over, So that we can do the ancient from Athens and time immemorial, the great thing of peace, the Olympic Games or the whole, you know, the Greeks would put the Spartans and the Athenians and the guys in Thebes, they all put down their weapons for two weeks, they come together and they wrestle naked, right?
Or whatever they did back in those days.
In peaceful games.
So we do that, and we kowtow to that.
The greatest existential threat we've ever had, and not just that, it's a maniacal genocidal regime against its own people.
Against its own people.
And yet we're doing all this, and at this time, with all these, and these are not small crises, each one is like to a level 10, right?
Everyone's a code red.
Okay?
Everyone had co-written, oh, by the way, in the invasion of the three million people, illegal aliens into our southern border being welcomed in and then flown into, flown into, you know, Scranton in the middle of the night, Wilkes-Barre airport in the middle of the night, of course, naturally, right?
Because that's not a problem and, you know, you can't move anywhere in Washington, New York, or if you're unvaccinated, we just got a porn invasion of the southern border with the cartels, some of the most deadly Inhumane people on the face of the earth, but hey, that's not a problem.
In all of this, in all of this, we have to make the defense of the eastern border of Ukraine.
And remember, let's go back to those conflicts in the 20th century.
Let's pick a random one.
World War II.
In fact, I picked World War I. Dr. Zhivago's on the Turner Classic movie the other night.
Remember, in Zhivago, when the army collapses and the peasants start to take over the army, later Zhivago says, yeah, I served for years in the Ukraine.
In the Ukraine, okay?
In World War II, it's a killing field.
I think they killed eight men on the way over and seven men on the way back.
It's a killing field from time immemorial.
They have vendettas there that have come down through the centuries, right?
Let's just say this is not our neighborhood.
We fought two conflicts and we were the deciding factor in the First World War and all the Russians and the Chinese bled out in the second.
It was our industrial strength, our hero and courage, the courage of our young men and women, boom!
That we were kind of the deciding factor in the second.
And in both of those times, the Ukraine is like over there.
Some fight between the Red Army and the Nazis.
And yet now today, with everything going on, With all these conflicts, this illegitimate regime, and this highlights their illegitimacy.
This highlights their illegitimacy.
That they have picked, and they sit there with their media partners, and they expect rational people to get all worked up.
We had Richard Engel, we can play that later, we had Richard Engel, the NBC chief correspondent, international correspondent for NBC News.
He's not some grundoon at MSNBC, he comes on there, but he's the chief foreign correspondent for NBC News.
He's in Kiev on Friday, saying the bars are open, the people are having restaurants, they think this is all... It's a much bigger deal in the Western media.
It's not even getting local play.
Because they're sitting there, isn't this a capital under siege?
It's like Edward R. Murrow, you know, Chuck Totch trying to be Edward R. Murrow on the rooftops of London during the Blitz of 1940.
unidentified
Right?
steve bannon
To get you all worked up, and they're sitting there going, no, not really, sorry.
You know, Andrew Mitchell's got the big long face, he's got the crocodile tears coming out.
This is not even a smart version of Wag the Dog.
Now, to top it all off, and I'm going to get to my guests, I've got Harnwell in Rome, I've got the great Frank Gaffney at the Committee on the Present Danger of China, I've got John Mills, who's done this before, who knows how they're rolling.
In the middle of this, there are pieces out in the European paper, when they're even covering it, saying, hey, I think Germany just opted out of NATO.
Remember, all supposed to worship at the altar of NATO.
These are all- I don't think we can put up two combat divisions in all- I mean, active combat divisions in NATO.
The reason is, the 2% they're supposed to pay in GDP, they never come close to touching.
You know why?
They don't see Russia as that big a deal, as a bigger threat.
They don't think they're gonna come rolling across the North German plain like we thought after the end of World War II.
Short commercial break.
I'm going to pass the baton here.
We've got Harnwell in Rome, Frank Gaffney, John Mills are getting into all of this as the capital markets bounce around with your money, ladies and gentlemen.
Make sure, focus on buying the dip.
Short commercial break.
Be back in a moment.

War Room.
Pandemic.
steve bannon
With Stephen K. Banham.
unidentified
The epidemic is a demon and we cannot let this demon hide.
War Room.
Pandemic.
Here's your host, Stephen K. Bannon.
steve bannon
Welcome back to War Room.
We're going to get into a moment, but MyPillow.com, a couple things going on.
Number one, we get the January bedding sale 50% off everything to do with bedding.
Go there 50% off when you type in promo code War Room.
You've got the second is everything to deal with the down comforters, the blankets, slippers, all that 50% off.
He's also got overstock.
Which is 50% off on certain overstock items, and in addition, one-time best sale price in history of MyPella, 60% off, let me find out here, it is the, wait for it, the Giza Dream Sheets.
That's a special deal that Mike cooked up for us overnight.
60% off Giza Dream Sheets, as low as $39.99.
That's just hot off the press.
But you've got to type in promo code WORM.
Go to MyPillow.com, promo code WORM.
Okay, we're going to go around the horn here.
We've got some experts.
First off, Ben, I want to bring you in.
Hold the China piece, but I want to talk about Ukraine, and particularly Germany, and the capitals of Europe.
Over here, it's all they're doing.
MSNBC, the war toxins are sounding, right?
We're standing up 8,500 combat troops to get them, ship them around.
You know, over there, we've got we've got the trauma of 50,000 maybe troops in Eastern Europe.
Biden's spinning up, as we say, getting all spun up.
What's happening in Europe, sir?
ben harnwell
Certainly intensifying, Steve, on a day by day basis.
Can you hear me?
Yes.
Yeah, we got you.
I reported yesterday how the UK and the US had started to evacuate their diplomatic missions.
You asked about Germany now.
Perhaps I think that's the most substantial European response so far.
Germany has now prohibited the UK from flying British supplies to the Ukraine, and they're also refusing to allow the Baltic states to send mortars that were manufactured in Germany to help Ukraine in the forthcoming situation, however it develops.
That's the principal European position.
Contrasted to the position of the UK, Which has said that, in an interesting article, interesting really because it was published in The Sun rather than in something like Foreign Affairs, where the British Armed Forces Minister James Heapy said that the Russian military advance force was actually already inside and operating within Ukraine borders.
Moving on a bit, interesting contrast in that opinion is the former MI6 spymaster, Sir Alex Younger, who had said that it is now difficult to see how President Putin can back down from the situation without proceeding on to invading Ukraine formally because of the massive expectations he has created domestically.
steve bannon
Don't bury the lead.
Just hang on a second.
This is Ben Sasse.
I realize Ben Sasse is no hero to this audience, but Ben Sasse on the Hugh Hewitt Show, another not-Trump outlet, but he asked him, About Germany.
Because, hey, NATO was always about Germany, right?
And the EU is Germany and France.
And remember, we're in this situation because the EU's been sticking their nose in the Ukraine.
They're trying to move the forward border.
They're trying to get Ukraine into NATO, right?
It'd be like having Mexico sign an alliance with China.
Equivalent, right?
Right up against you.
And Hewitt asked him about the thing you just said.
Has Germany effectively left NATO?
Now you've got to remember, this is about Donald Trump, so disruptive and ruining NATO, which actually quite frankly is the most united under Trump for the simple reason he's making them pay up.
He's making them pay the 2%, which the Germans don't want to come close to paying.
So he asks, has Germany effectively left NATO?
And Ben Sasser's response, I'm deadly serious, if they were, excuse me, I think it's still here, I'm deadly serious, if they were preventing overflights of British supplies to Ukraine, they're refusing to allow the Baltic States to send the mortars that Germany told them, sold them to Ukraine, they're effectively returning to the position of central European arbitrator between Russia and the West, they have left NATO, I believe.
Right.
And says it certainly seems so in a de facto way.
It seems it feels like Germany has tried to move to a pre-NATO time in history.
So, of course, the French are doing one thing.
You got other because there's no organization and they know the Biden regime is not just illegitimate.
They know it's incompetent.
And they saw that in Afghanistan where they're kind of moving and NATO reads about it in the papers.
That you have Biden essentially unilaterally with a little bit of makeup on, a little bit of lipstick on the pig to try to convince everybody.
And this is all done because he doesn't want to sit there and have the channels have nothing to do but pounding on the polling, pounding on the terrible economy, pounding.
We got an NPR piece we're going to play.
Hat tip to Frank Gaffney for teeing me up to it.
NPR is out in Colorado about a 50-50 Hispanic district.
They just carved out a new congressional district that the GOP is going to win and the Democratic Party is in the mumble tank because it's going to win.
So instead of that we have wag the dog.
What we have is we're going to make up a crisis, right, and make the eastern border of Ukraine the most important thing in the world while we're being invaded and everything's being collapsed.
Let's bring in John Mills and Frank Gaffney.
Frank, first, you've been at this a long time and you're an old cold warrior, but you're the head of the Committee on the Present Danger China.
You've been very focused on what's the existential threat to Australia and India and Japan and our immediate big allies, and of course Taiwan.
Right?
Remember, Ukraine, Rachel Maddow's on two weeks ago, and she's got the big tears coming down, and she says ten times, our ally in Ukraine, our ally in Ukraine, our ally in Ukraine.
Ukraine is not an ally of the good old United States of America, okay?
It's not in NATO.
As much as the progressive left pretends it is, it's not.
Right?
It's not.
And we know from Biden's thing and his son on all these boards and all the fiasco, you know, Vindman, you know, for the perfect phone call, impeaching, they impeached the President of the United States over this crap.
They had a lieutenant colonel buried as a grundoon in the National Security Council.
Some lieutenant colonel That in a whistleblower that runs around on essentially a perfect phone call, they impeach a city president that's so afraid of his political power.
They impeach him over this nonsense.
And now we're there at the sacrosanct eastern border of Ukraine, right?
unidentified
This is it.
steve bannon
This is the place.
This is, we had a guy, we had somebody on Less Africa, I said, and the danger here, when you're looking over the abyss, Is the Guns of August, and let's go back to Tuchman's book, that you have an assassination by Serbian nationals of some Archduke who's like the third guy in line for, I guess, the Austria-Hungary throne.
But the Times of London covers that on, I think, June 28th, when he gets shot and killed.
He and the wife get assassinated.
It's not on the front page of the Times of London, which is the paper of the world, until The day that the British, everybody then, because of all the secret treaties, declares war, and like the last day of July, when the guns of August, when all the mobilization's starting, and we go into a slaughter pen of World War I. A slaughter pen of World War I. We end the Victorian age in a slaughter pen in those trenches.
Right?
And they had it on what?
Because... the fog of war.
You don't know what's going to happen.
The most remote thing can trigger events that in hindsight, like, oh yeah, I could understand it, but at the time, the smartest guys in the world can't understand it.
And that's when, so this is not, you're not playing guns like you used to do when you were a little kid.
This is deadly serious.
It's not just simply the blood and treasure.
For us and for these, think about the 8,500 people now up on alert and think what a great job they did in Afghanistan.
So let's get them all up, let's get them over there, let's get another 50,000 in Latvia and all these other places that we can swing down there.
It's what can this trigger?
We don't know and do you trust the incompetence over there right now?
You seen the Adams family cabinet they got?
Is this Pete Buttigieg gonna sit in there and give you some wisdom on the great job he's done on the supply chain?
Is this Kamala Harris?
Is she gonna step up with another word salad?
Right, like she gave the NBC host the other morning when he asked her a couple of basic questions?
Is this going to be General Austin, right?
Is this going to be Jake Sullivan, the soy boy pencil neck?
Is he the one that's going to really, oh yeah, I got it?
You don't think the Mullahs, everybody looking at this, that they have an existential threat.
We have an existential threat.
It was the Chinese Communist Party.
We're preparing to go over and kowtow to them because obviously we should have them have an Olympic Games in the middle of a firestorm.
They've got 90 million people locked down.
COVID all over the place, right?
You know, Beijing, you got everything's a total mess.
The game's 15.
So let's do that.
At the same time, we're going up arm.
Oh, and they're doing 39 intrusions into Taiwan airspace.
39 intrusions.
I think 34 of them are combat sorties, essentially.
We now have two carrier battle groups.
Count them, two carrier battle groups in the South China Sea going through the Straits of Taiwan.
Two, the Vinson and the The Vincent and the Abraham Lincoln.
They got two carrier battle groups, which I used to do for a living when I was a young man.
You follow the carrier around, right?
Anti-submarine war.
We got two!
Got two right there.
So we're on essentially high alert, but let's go ahead and trigger something in the Ukraine so we can get in a shooting war over there.
Let's do that.
Frank Gaffney, give me your assessment.
I'm going to get Colonel Mills in here.
Ben, just hang on.
We're going to get back to Ben.
Frank, how dangerous is this?
They're playing with, not fire, they're playing with napalm right now.
frank gaffney
I think there's a distinct possibility of serious miscalculation coming out of all this, Steve.
But I do want to just add one other data point to your theory that this is wagging the dog.
That is, you mentioned the mullahs of Iran a moment ago.
One of the things that we've been hearing, mostly sotto voce as they say, where Ben is, is that the United States is so determined to get a deal with the Iranian leadership on their nuclear weapons program, that it's gone to the Russians to help them Get some sort of deal, an interim deal.
Not exactly sure what it's going to say or do, other than apparently give much more money to the Iranians and relieve them of their sanctions and do nothing to impede their nuclear ambitions.
So that's probably not going to work out very well.
But it's a tell, Steve, that at the same time that they are theoretically manning up to push back against the Russians, Well, you know, I think you're right.
I mean, your unified field theory of what's going on here was brilliant.
It really nailed down the degree to which the Russians have taken the measure of Joe Biden and Vladimir Putin knows he can do whatever he wants with impunity.
And whether that will wind up being actually going into Ukraine or simply tearing up what's left of NATO.
And you're right.
Germany, Ukraine isn't an ally, Germany is an ally and they've left the building.
And we know that they did that in part because the Russians own them, thanks to the Nord Stream pipeline, which Joe Biden, for nothing, said it was okay with him to complete.
So you put all this together and clearly the pandering to the Russians, the sign of weakness on the part of the United States, Means not only do the Russians have free reign to go into Ukraine if they want to, if they're not already there, as you've just said, but the Chinese know they can, right after the Olympics, go for it in Taiwan.
None of this incursion stuff.
Just go for it if they choose to.
Or maybe it's India, or maybe John Mills is right.
They're just going to envelop Taiwan and, you know, force its surrender because everybody in the West is now going to be trying to figure out what are the best terms they can get in separate pieces with these totalitarians.
That's what's really worrying me.
steve bannon
Alternatively it's global war.
Hang on for a second, because this is the key point, and we're going to take a break.
Everybody's going to start acting like free agents.
The Germans are out there cutting their own deal.
Remember, the essence of NATO was to protect Germany after the war, to make sure that the Russians couldn't blow across the North German plain in another enveloping move like World War I, the Von Schlieflen Plan, and World War II.
You know, Dunkirk.
They couldn't do it again.
That was the whole purpose of the whole thing.
Now, Jeremy's saying, hey, you know, thought about these Biden guys.
I'm opting out.
I'm gonna go cut my own deal.
Cut my own deal.
This is great.
Where's Admiral Stavridis in the morning?
Where's David Ignatius?
Where, you know, where's Orange Man bad?
No, Orange Man a leader.
Okay?
Short break.
Back in a moment.

Okay, welcome back.
The Dow went down 250.
We're going to get some more updates.
Let's go across the board.
Remember, when you're buying the dips, I'm going to give you another old Wall Street saying.
When you're buying the dips today at Kramer's Recommendation, when you're buying the dips, remember that old saying, where are the customers' yachts?
That's where the customers' yachts never catch a falling knife.
By the way, it's always an indicator when institutional money's on the sidelines.
Yesterday was that rally.
It was a massive rally.
Was all retail money.
Just another buying opportunity.
I know.
I want to go to Colonel Mills now and we'll get back to Ben and Frank in a minute.
Colonel Mills, you've been at the heart of this at CENTCOM and other places.
You know, you're the you're the classic.
You know a war planner the guy that has remember the amateurs that focus on strategy the professionals focus on logistics and actually you know getting lead on target and what has to happen so what is going on here is is.
Because we got a couple of carrier battle groups over in Taiwan.
Everybody's saying as soon as the Olympics are over, we know they're going to move on somehow either cyber, they're already in economic war, but maybe kinetic in some way.
They're enveloping India in Burma and up in the northwest frontier because now we got the Persian-Afghanistan border up there with Pakistan as their new ally.
Remember the CCP's got North Korea, Pakistan, the Mullahs in Iran, Erdogan and Turkey.
Oh, yeah, our NATO ally, NATO.
It's a great alliance.
We got Erdogan in it, right?
So walk us through the head fake here.
What do you think, as a war planner, where the center of gravity and our focus should be, sir?
unidentified
Yeah, thanks, Steve.
Always an honor to be with you here.
Yeah, if the administration was serious about shutting down Putin, they could do it in about five minutes by shutting down the pipeline and unleashing American energy and put Putin out of business.
Now, in Dictator 101 school, they always teach totalitarians never waste an Olympic.
So she is essentially waiting to leverage what he perceives as the media opportunity of the genocide games.
But once that is over, this is just like Sochi in 2014.
Anything's on the table here.
She's on a tear to eliminate domestic opposition.
And he is building incredible force, both naval force, air force.
He's constantly surging in cycles.
It's all about maintenance.
But these air sortie surges, he's doing this regularly.
And there's a situation in the Solomons that, as a war planner, my recommendation would be to slip down the, slip by the unguarded Filipino coast, just like the Germans used the Norway coast to slip up the Narvik, but slip down that coast and go down to the Solomons.
You bypass and envelop Taiwan.
You essentially are now behind the second island chain.
It is extremely, extremely dangerous.
And the administration is totally looking the wrong direction.
steve bannon
Frank, I want to bring you back in here, and I want all three of you to go, and let me start, I tell you what, let me start with Ben because I can get to the COVID situation.
Ben, what's the latest on what's actually happened leading up to the games?
Because I know Frank has been leading the effort to shut down these games, which obviously we have to do.
Walk me through, what's the latest in the CCP with the virus that's all over the place What is Ari Emanuel's brother, the doctor, has got this article out saying, if you think Biden's to vaccinate the world is going to be a problem, what does Dr. Emanuel say?
ben harnwell
Zeke Emanuel wrote an editorial today in the New York Times saying that China, if it pursues this zero COVID policy, is going to have a pandemic on its hands by its own definition.
And it's basically an article saying that under Omicron, the Chinese just need to learn to live with Oumar Kwan as everyone else is starting to do. In terms of the case report, the only statistic I can find for today is from Time magazine, which lists 40 present official cases in Beijing ahead of the Olympics. The last reported figure I had from Reuters was
32 on the 22nd of January. The difference here, of course, I think, is that Time has simply taken the CCP's official count, which doesn't include asymmetric cases.
The CCP is only including its official count of COVID cases, those that are symptomatic.
So asymptomatic cases don't get counted.
Obviously, the figures are fictional anyway, totally fictional, right?
But in any case, They're counting symptomatic cases, and there were 40.
So day by day, since we've been covering this on the 15th of January, the numbers are increasing.
Both, as we said yesterday, outside of the bubble, but also inside the bubble too.
steve bannon
Okay, while we all hang on, we're going to come back to all this.
We've also got a ton of domestic news about 3 November.
We've got the news about the political prisoners down in jail here, other stuff.
There's other stuff we're going to be breaking here in the next couple days about everything that went on on 6 January.
A ton of breaking news on 3 November, what's happening around the country.
Also, we've got an update on crypto, and of course, Joe Allen's got this amazing couple of pieces on On transhumanism, that if you didn't have enough to worry about, we'll add on to that.
But remember, one of the reasons, there's a poll out today, Rasmussen has a poll, Rasmussen's poll, give us an answer to the following question.
Is the media the enemy of the people?
Hmm, wonder where I've heard that before.
Is the enemy the enemy of the people?
Democrats answered only 36%, Republicans I think were 76%.
But African-Americans, Said 63%.
I think I see, I think I see a gap there between Democrats and African-Americans.
63% of African-Americans say yes, the media is, the mainstream media is the enemy of the people.
That's their answer in Rasmussen, okay?
Short commercial break.
When we return, we've got Ben Harnwell, we've got Frank Gaffney, we've got Colonel Mills, we've got a lot of other folks coming in here in the second hour.
We're going to talk about the markets are, how do you say it?
unidentified
