| Number one, the work of the country, the work of Donald Trump and what he's trying to accomplish for the country, but also other things are happening in the world. | ||
| We've ascertained over the last 24, 48 hours that the biggest story in the world turns out not to be President Trump's impeachment, which has kind of become a farce because of the Democrats, but really what this a potential pandemic coming out of China and what we've assembled, given our contacts, relationships and interest in China, is really a group of experts over the next couple of days and weeks to be able to separate out the rumor and the hype and the hysteria from what the facts are, what the facts are on the ground. | ||

| For themselves, their families and the hospital will feel soon overwhelmed. | ||
| So it requires one of the things that I want to do and we're contemplating figuring out how to do that. | ||
| We are contemplating how to get done and that is how do we move in a direction where the world itself is vaccinated. | ||
| It's not enough just to vaccinate 340 million, fully vaccinate 340 million people in the United States. | ||
| That's not enough. | ||
| It's not enough to do it here. | ||
| We have to do it and we have to do a lot more than we're doing now. | ||
| And that's why we have continued to keep the commitment of providing vaccines and available cures for... | ||
| President Biden's news conference on Wednesday was designed to kick off a second year reset of his presidency. | ||
| Cap recaptures political identity, if you will, but our new NBC News poll suggests Mr. Biden does need a reset because he's lost his identity a bit. | ||
| He's no longer seen as competent and effective. | ||
| He's no longer seen as a good commander in chief or perhaps most damaging as easygoing and likable. | ||
| In fact, just 5% of adults say Mr. Biden has performed better than expected as president. | ||
| One of the many lowest, firsts and fewests in our poll. | ||
| And as we kick off our Meet the Midterms coverage heading into November, the NBC News political unit developed what we're calling a midterm meter. | ||
| It's based on previous election cycles. | ||
| It's basically three poll numbers you need to know best. | ||
| I'm going to start with perhaps the most important number to understand the direction of the midterms, it's job approval here. | ||
| The president's job approval rating sitting at 43%. | ||
| If you look at history, history shows that kind of presidential approval rating leads to a shellacking for the party in power. | ||
| How about the mood of the nation? | ||
| Well let me show you this. | ||
| Right now our wrong track, nation's on the wrong track number, sitting at 72%. | ||
| Second poll in a row where we've been over 70%. | ||
| This is only the third time in our polls history over 30 years where we've had two tracks that were that off. | ||
| That again would put you in shellacking territory for the party in power. | ||
| But the one place Democrats are holding up okay is on the question of which party should control Congress. | ||
| Basically a dead heat, one point advantage there, but most analysts will tell you Democrats have to be up about four or five due to redistricting in order to actually hold the House here. | ||
| So that puts it in the middle. | ||
| But as you can see, two of our three most important indexes is sitting in shellacking territory right now for the Democrats. | ||
| This is a dangerous place for the party and the president-to-be. | ||
| Just over a year into the Joe Biden presidency, and we are getting a clear picture of where things stand in America now, where things are going and how things could have been for better and for worse. | ||
| Right now, breaking right now, is a new NBC News poll showing Biden's approval rating at 44% among registered voters, the lowest of his presidency. | ||
| He has a 54% disapproval. | ||
| The highest of his presidency. | ||
| Just 39% of Americans view Joe Biden positively. | ||
| That's only two points more than how Americans view Donald Trump right now. | ||
| And while 47% of Americans prefer Democrats in control of Congress compared to 46% who prefer Republicans, that is a statistical tie due to the margin of error. | ||
| What isn't a tie, however, is that Republicans hold a commanding advantage when it comes to enthusiasm for November's midterm elections. | ||
| 61% of Republicans are, quote, very interested, compared to just 47% of Democrats, which could make all the difference in who controls Congress. | ||
| And then there's this, which doesn't bode well for the country. | ||
| Not only does 72% of Americans say the United States is heading in the wrong direction, 70% of Americans agree with the statement that America has become so polarized That it can no longer solve the major issues facing the country and that those differences will only continue to grow. | ||
| Just 27% of Americans say that despite the nation's strong partisan differences, the country always comes together to solve the greatest challenges. | ||
| Now consider this. | ||
| The last time NBC News posed this question in a poll 12 years ago in 2010, just 45% of Americans said the nation's political differences will continue to grow. | ||
| 50%, a majority, said the nation comes together in tough times. | ||
| That number's been cut in half. | ||
| These are indeed tough times, with everything from the COVID-19 pandemic, to inflation, to the major ongoing threat to American democracy. | ||
| The poll shows that Americans view jobs and the economy as the top issue facing the country, followed by the pandemic, then voting rights and election integrity, the cost of living, and border security and immigration. | ||
| And despite what is seemingly a strong economy with low unemployment, 61% of respondents in the poll say their family's income is falling behind the cost of living. | ||
| It's heartening to see voting rights and election integrity, the heart of American democracy, as major issues. | ||
| A whopping 76% of Americans believe there is a threat to democracy and majority rule in this country. | ||
| For his part, President Biden is trying to get the nation in the right direction, but the majority of his ambitious agenda has stalled in Congress, halted by just about the entire GOP plus two. | ||
| The Democrats, Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema. | ||

| We're kicking off the all week. | ||
| We're going to kick off the two year anniversary of war and pandemic when we shifted from war impeachment to pandemic. | ||
| And the nation is coming together when you look at the numbers and you do it analytically. | ||
| And we've got Navarro, Cortez and Boris coming on today to go through this map because it's pretty stunning. | ||
| The nation is actually coming together. | ||
| And they're coming together with a full rejection of this illegitimate Biden regime. | ||
| They understand now they're waking to the fact, not just Trump supporters, but this regime is illegitimate. | ||
| They're coming to the fact that this is incompetent. | ||
| You notice, we talked about the priorities and people farming wages. | ||
| Ukraine, those polls were for the Sunday shows yesterday. | ||
| And the Saturday shows yesterday when the NBC came to the poll. | ||
| But, excuse me, it's coming out for the NBC poll for Saturday and early Sunday morning. | ||
| The rest of the Sunday shows and all day today, if they're not talking about the football games, it's Ukraine, Ukraine, Ukraine. | ||
| They're trying to desperately wag the dog. | ||
| I would just tell the Democrats, you want to get Biden as a one-digit midget, a single-digit approval, just keep pushing the war you got to get in Ukraine. | ||
| I want to bring in now, we got heavy hitters, Harrington, Gates, Harnwell, Cortez, Epstein, Navarro, Joe Allen today. | ||

| We're going to be doing a lot of commentary and analysis on what happened yesterday at the Mandates, Defeat the Mandates march. | ||

| At the time, a couple of years, two years ago, was our was our executive editor. | ||

| Liz, how do you assess the first year of the Biden regime? | ||
| About a year ago, you took off and went to work for President Trump, or shortly thereafter, the 2020. | ||
| What's your assessment of what's going on? | ||
| What's your assessment, your assessment, and the Inner Circle assessment of the first year of the Biden regime? | ||
| Well, Steve, thanks for having me. | ||
| Listening to those polls you just played, it sounds like someone who ran for president three times and never finished better than fourth in Iowa. | ||
| Not like someone who got 81 million votes, which exactly right as you just said, the country knows. | ||
| The country knows the good news. | ||
| There's not a lot of good news. | ||
| We see what happens after one year of an illegitimate regime in place. | ||
| The only good news is the American people know it. | ||
| I mean, you had four years of them saying the 2016 election was stolen by Russia, and you never had quarterbacks questioning President Trump's legitimacy. | ||
| You've got Aaron Rodgers just flat out calling it out and saying, 81 million votes, yeah, I guess, but it doesn't certainly look like it. | ||
| And so what we feel is we're keep getting the word out. | ||
| I mean, the numbers speak for themselves, which the numbers are inflated for Joe Biden, just like they were in the 2020 election. | ||
| You've got Quinnipiac, the most left leaning poll out there at 33% for his approval. | ||
| That means it's so much lower than that. | ||
| And again, the good news is the American people aren't falling for their propaganda. | ||
| The bad news is we're losing our country. | ||
| We've lost our border. | ||
| We lost 13 In Afghanistan, we gave it away with Bagram Air Base to China. | ||
| We've lost so much standing in the world, but the people, we haven't lost the people's spirit and we haven't lost President Trump's fighting spirit either. | ||
| You know, so much of this goes back, as we say on the show all the time, and you were our executive editor here when we started that, you've got to get to the bottom of 3 November. | ||
| You can't look away from that. | ||
| And because, you know, elections have consequences, and stolen elections have catastrophic consequences, and we've seen the catastrophic consequences. | ||
| Whether it's the economy, whether it's the wokeness, whether it's the poison in the schools, whether it's to, what is it, Mark Morgan saying now three million, there's three million invasion on the southern border, this madness in Ukraine. | ||
| Walk me through, the President's very focused on this. | ||
| Do you think That the Republican Party establishment is still trying to give a head fake and just want to give some happy talk. | ||
| Oh, it's about you got to look forward. | ||
| It's about election integrity. | ||
| Because here, as you know, in the war room, we're maniacally focused on 3 November and because you got to get to the bottom of it. | ||
| And the one you've got, you've got to come. | ||
| We have a duty and responsibility. | ||
| To show that this regime is illegitimate. | ||
| We have a responsibility to show how it was done. | ||
| But we also have a duty to the MAGA base, which 10% of those are just going to say, hey, I'm not interested until you get to the bottom of 3 November. | ||
| What's your analysis and thoughts on that? | ||
| Oh, it's the number one issue. | ||
| Everything else stems from this. | ||
| And that's what President Trump understands. | ||
| That's why he's not giving up on it. | ||
| That's why we continue to have information come out every single day. | ||
| I mean, it's astounding. | ||
| I mean, you cover it so well. | ||
| on war room, but you have the ballot harvesting trafficking in Georgia, more than enough to turn the outcome of that election. That's just one way they cheated, which we all know they did. | ||
| But you ask about the Republican establishment. That's why, if they're really on board with getting to the bottom of it or fixing our elections, well, that's why President Trump had to put out a statement this morning. Yeah, drop boxes aren't a good idea, Wisconsin. | ||
| What are you doing? You have members in the Republican Party talking about expanding the use of drop boxes for 2022. | ||
| That is a fraud and a sham. | ||
| And it's an admission that they think it was perfectly fine what they did to President Trump and the people of Wisconsin, the people of this country who elected President Trump in a landslide to a second term. | ||
| You're saying, no, it was perfectly fine to take that away from them with no chain of custody, with Facebook funding coming in and buying out That is a problem. | ||
| So President Trump is putting everyone on notice. | ||
| We've got to root out this fraud. | ||
| I mean, we're going to have a red wave come November, this November. | ||
| But we're not going to get there if we're letting these corrupt rhinos not only not fix the problems at the ballot box, but make them worse. | ||
| And so President Trump keeps calling that out. | ||
| By the way, that's off of, and we're trying to get Joe Hoft on, that's a great, it was a great, a Gateway Pundit story overnight that talked about this fiasco up in Wisconsin where they're making, the judge is making huge gains on actually getting to the bottom of 3 November where they got, they got a staff of guys, the thing, that are trying to actually double and triple down. | ||

| When you talk about that red wave, and I want to make sure everybody understands this because I keep saying it and I understand some people are confused. | ||

| And that means it's a 1932 realignment around President Trump's MAGA movement and his philosophy of Trumpism. | ||

And they're the ones who are, in fact, going to, I think, face a real risk of jail for the kind of laws that— By the way, all this stuff, wondering about who Ray Epps is and whether or not he worked for the FBI, it's pretty clear to me, because I've run informants, I've also run something called a cutout, where you don't work for the FBI, but you work for a third party who then reports to the FBI. | |
| And I think Ray Epps was working for a third party, probably somebody who used to work in Congress on the Intelligence Committee, and then reported to the FBI through that third party. | ||

| No, they used the cutout of Glenn Simpson, Christopher Steele, Fusion GPS, and then those folks directed the Russians all the while they were communicating back to Bruce Ohr to the Hillary Clinton campaign to try to delegitimize Donald Trump. | ||
| Then in the Ukraine impeachment, You didn't see Adam Schiff just walk Alexander Vindman into the intelligence community. | ||
| No, they used the whistleblower as a cutout, because the whistleblower was roommates with one of Adam Schiff's staffers. | ||
| Now you have the January 6th event, where I expect that there will be these shadowy gray area national security types that are in and around the activation Of the increase in criminal acuity of that day. | ||
| And not for nothing, Steve, but using a cutout seems like exactly what they were trying to do to me. | ||
| There's a guy named Steve Alford who's sitting in prison right now for trying to extort me, but he was not acting alone. | ||
| Very likely he was answering to a cutout. | ||
| Someone like Bob Kent to try to destroy me, because you know what? | ||

| And to put a number behind that, by the way, NBC News just came out with a brand new poll, and it's reflective and similar to other polls that have similar results, asking the right track, wrong track question. | ||
| Only 22% of Americans believe we're on the right track right now. | ||
| That's miserable. | ||
| 72% believe that we are on the wrong track, and a single digit or so don't know either way. | ||
| So that is a compelling and foreboding number. | ||
| Pointing out that the country, our society, is in a terrible mood. | ||
| And in a terrible mood, though, by the way, Steve, for very valid reasons. | ||
| This isn't paranoia. | ||
| It's not an unwarranted anxiety. | ||
| It's very palpable because it's very real. | ||
| We're seeing it in financial markets. | ||

| We saw it Friday last week. | ||

| All of that has resulted in a miserable economy right now for this country, and everyone knows it, even those who don't care to admit so publicly. | ||
| This is a witch's brew of kind of policy that is almost... And look, I'm not one of these guys that they're doing this on purpose to cause more chaos. | ||

| But if you look at the combination of what they're doing, it is absolute insanity, sir. | ||

| So by the way, stocks today, and I care a lot more about Main Street than Wall Street, but capital markets do matter. | ||
| Stocks today are down for the seventh straight day. | ||
| The Dow right now, as we speak, is down over 500 points. | ||
| It's been down over 600 points. | ||
| The Nasdaq is getting particularly walloped. | ||
| We talked about that last week. | ||
| It got into official correction territory, meaning more than 10% off of its highs, which were around Thanksgiving. | ||
| New news as of today, which we've been talking about on The War Room, your audience, Steve, Is better informed, is better educated than the Titans of Wall Street, but the Titans are now catching up and they're selling their stocks in mass. | ||
| That the Russell 2000, which I think is a better indicator of what's going on on Main Street because it's small cap stocks. | ||
| They tend to be more domestic than the Dow and the S&P 500. | ||
| The Russell 2000, which the IWM is the main ETF that trades that, is as of right now in a bear market by Wall Street parlance, meaning over 20% down from the highs. | ||
| But It's not just Wall Street. | ||
| It's also Main Street, Steve. | ||
| And I think that That's what, of course, we care most about. | ||
| I think Wall Street's starting to reflect the reality on Main Street. | ||
