Is the country more unified than when you first took office? | |
| The answer is, based on some of the stuff we've got done, I'd say yes, but it's not nearly unified as it should be. | ||
| Look, I still contend, and I know you'll have a right to judge me by this, I still contend that unless you can reach consensus in a democracy, you cannot sustain the democracy. | ||
| And so this is a real test whether or not my counterpart in China is right or not when he says autocracies are the only thing that are going to prevail because democracies take too long to make decisions and countries are too divided. | ||
| I believe we're going through one of those inflection points in history that occurs every several generations or even more than that, even more times. | ||

| But we're seeing extremist candidates run for Secretary of State in every swing state where there's a race to further suppress the vote, to push disinformation and ultimately to tilt potential future elections in the favor of their party. | ||

| election deniers into local election administration, and there's a door wide open because there is so much vitriol that many election workers are throwing up their hands and saying, you know what, I did not sign up for death threats and simply administering elections. | ||

| This week, in what newspapers describe as under the cover of darkness, the elegant statue of Teddy Roosevelt was officially removed and carted away from the entrance to New York City's Natural History Museum. | ||
| America's Rough Rider had been proudly stationed there and stood regally for over four score, almost a century, for all to see and admire. | ||
| TR is one of America's most venerated presidents, the quintessential symbol of the American can-do spirit and her beaming confidence. | ||
| But like the statue of Thomas Jefferson at Brooklyn City Hall, Christopher Columbus and General Robert E. Lee elsewhere, these men are being cast out for the sin of being too emblematic of America. | ||
| Indeed, the purpose of these removals is to cast out America itself. | ||
| As with so much today, this act of betrayal against the American people ...was committed with stealth under the cover of darkness in order to escape the people's attention. | ||
| Last month, as we have now learned, plane loads of illegal aliens were transported from the southern border states by the federal government itself to locations up north, arriving to unannounced destinations at midnight And secretly whisk away to places unknown. | ||
| Again, under the cover of darkness, our own federal government masterminded this dishonest activity. | ||

| There is a Tower of Babel-like partnership among the beasts of Marxism, hedonism, Arrogance, inordinate wealth, and a power elite that are coalescing for a hostile takeover of America. | ||
