So you don't want to frighten the American public.
have been confirmed around the world.
You don't want to frighten the American public.
France and South Korea have also got evacuation plans.
But you need to prepare for and assume.
Broadly warning Americans to avoid all non-essential travel to China.
That this is going to be a real serious problem.
France, Australia, Canada, the US, Singapore, Cambodia, Vietnam, the list goes on.
Health officials are investigating more than 100 possible cases in the US.
Germany, a man has contracted the virus.
The epidemic is a demon and we cannot let this demon hide.
Japan, where a bus driver contracted the virus.
Coronavirus has killed more than 100 people there and infected more than 4,500.
We have to prepare for the worst, always.
anthony fauci
Because if you don't, then the worst happens.

War Room.
Pandemic.
Here's your host, Stephen K. Bannon.
steve bannon
Welcome, Thursday, 30 September, Year of Our Lord 2021.
It is 14 hours away from a government shutdown at midnight tonight, as we've been telling you about.
We've got a lot of work to do today.
Everybody's got to be up on the ramparts.
We've been putting numbers up, how you can contact people.
You are, this audience is changing the arc of history.
We only have hitters only today.
We've got Marjorie Taylor Greene, Jack Posobiec, Jason Turner from Strategist talking about the economics of all these bills.
And we've got Congressman Matt Gaetz we're going to get to in one second.
I want to bring in Boris Epstein on the latest updates, particularly on the continuing resolution and what the Senate is doing right now.
Amazing thing, Nancy Pelosi has no votes scheduled at all today.
Obviously one of the big fights over here is to stop this infrastructure bill.
It is total chaos up here in Capitol Hill and that's a good thing.
I want to go to Boris Epstein now.
Boris, get us up to speed on what you know about what's happening in the Senate.
boris epshteyn
Steve, good morning.
Great to be with you.
An honor to be with the audience with the MAGA posse, the MAGA movement that's been the driving force behind putting the Democrats in the corner.
Now it's up to Republicans in the Senate, in the House, not to do the wrong thing and give the Democrats a lifeboat, give Joe Biden a lifeboat on the continuing resolution.
This clean CR that they've come up with, total establishment Frankenstein nonsense.
What I'm hearing is this.
Mitch McConnell is not whipping hard against it, for it, because he knows there's about 15, 20 senators, Republicans, who are already against it.
So you got the Rand Pauls, you got Tom Cotton and others who are saying no on this clean CR which punts the debt ceiling for two more months, which is obviously a huge off-ramp for the Democrats.
steve bannon
So Mitch McConnell- No, no, no, no, no.
Hang on, hang on, hang on.
Not the debt ceiling.
Debt ceiling is still on.
It punts the ability to get the appropriations bill for two months.
Till mid-December.
Gets them off the hook.
Government will shut down at midnight.
boris epshteyn
But that's the point, right?
If they pass the Clean CR, then they get to deal with all of it two months later.
Because, from what I'm hearing, the debt ceiling would get punted to at least early November.
This jujitsu that Janet Yellen is playing, first she gave it a couple of days, now I'm hearing it's going to go into early November.
steve bannon
Because she's finding more money outside in the tomato cans at the back of the Fed.
So how many right now, McConnell's, how many Senators, because we're going to put some names up here, how many Senators does McConnell have right now to support these Republicans?
boris epshteyn
McConnell, the bigger question is who's against it?
Only about 15 to 20 are against it.
Now, this is inside baseball, always signal, not noise for the audience.
Since McConnell is not whipping, individual senators cannot hide behind the conference.
They can't just say, oh, we all did it.
So the key point is to all of you, the MAGA posse, the MAGA movement, under the leadership of President Trump, reach out to your senators.
No matter if you think they're for the CR or against it, reach out to your senators.
Always color within the lines, but color hard.
And color fully, okay?
And reach out to your senators all over the country, no matter if it's Kentucky, no matter if it's Ohio, wherever you are, reach out to your senators and say that you are a hard no on this continuing resolution, unless our elected officials show us how they're going to pay for all of this absolute buckanal spending.
There should not be one more dollar that goes into government, we shut it down.
steve bannon
Yeah, they got to give us an operating penalty on an annual basis about this trillion dollar deficit they got structurally in perpetuity.
Real quickly, infrastructure bill, what are you hearing in the house?
I know you got your hand on the pulse over there.
What do you hear?
boris epshteyn
No doubt about it.
This is real time, so we're getting names coming in, and it's very troubling.
So right now, six have told the Chamber of Commerce, and yes, the Chamber of Commerce is whipping votes for a Democrat infrastructure bill.
That tells you what the Uniparty is, tells you what the establishment is.
Congressman Matt Gaetz, I'm sure, will talk about it a lot.
MTG will talk about it a lot.
It tells you what really happens in D.C., what President Trump fought against and won against.
Who have told the chamber that they are voting but are not going public.
Katko, Rogers, Garbarino, McKinley, Herrera-Butler, and Armstrong.
But then, here are some of the names who have said that they like it and haven't decided.
Diaz-Balart, Gallagher, Jimenez, Gonzalez, Johnson, LaHood, Malliotakis from Staten Island, and Van Drew may have gone public.
Hear me loud and hear me clear.
If you want to remain in the House past 2022, go out there and vote no on this infrastructure bill if you're a Republican.
Don't even think about it.
Whatever your staff is telling you, if you've got some rhinos on your staff saying, oh, this is going to be good, people at home are going to like it, nonsense.
Nonsense.
unidentified
Vote no, stand strong.
steve bannon
Let's get these names up.
Boris, we're going to come back to you later in the show.
Thank you very much.
Great report.
We'll come back to you.
Boris Epstein, give us up-to-date on everything that's going on.
We're going to try to make some.
Thank you, sir.
Tell us where we stand on these right now.
matt gaetz
There's more.
steve bannon
Look, your book's called Firebrand.
Your new podcast is on fire.
For the simple reason is that, and we're going to get to the Millie thing, I mean, you're a honey badger.
You come at this hard.
So tell us what's really going on here.
matt gaetz
I am shocked at the number of Republicans who are considering voting with the Democrats and bailing them out.
We have an opportunity to show the country that these people are incapable of governing.
And it is because the Squad has taken over the Democratic Caucus.
You know, when I first got here and when Nancy Pelosi then became Speaker, the Squad was the outlier group.
They were, you know, About four of them.
Maybe they could influence about four more.
But now, it's totally taken over the thinking of the Democratic Party.
steve bannon
Hang on for a second.
There's a lesson there for the Republicans.
When they came, they had no real committee assignments.
They were all junior people.
They had no earthy idea what they were even talking about, right?
On the details of what this town's about in legislation.
matt gaetz
Yet... They didn't care.
steve bannon
Two years later, Dick Collin, the 3.5 trillion, which is no due diligence, is their plan.
So how did that happen?
matt gaetz
We ought to take the political roadmap of the left-wing populists and we ought to run it with right-wing populists.
The reason AOC and Pramila Jayapal and the Squad have so much power is because people that started running for Congress wanted to be like AOC.
They wanted to show that progressive zeal.
And so what we've got to do is we've got to fill those billets in open seats.
Frankly, there's some Republicans that need to lose and we need to make sure that the war room posse, the America First Nation, is out there giving backup to people like Marjorie Taylor Greene and Jim Jordan and Elise Stefanik and myself and not sending us more people that just want to stare at their nameplate.
The reason so many Republicans are tempted by this infrastructure bill is the money that the lobbyists give them, and it is the money that is being promised to their campaigns.
The U.S.
Chamber of Commerce fights for just about everything except the U.S.
and her commerce.
Some of the very people Boris was naming, I know, are in negotiations to leave Congress and go work in the lobbying corps.
So this is a corrupt golden parachute, even for some Republicans who no longer fear their voters.
Because they're just going to go lobby and be part of a grifting system.
I'm the only Republican in Congress that doesn't take any money from any lobbyists or any PACs for any reason and that's why I rely on folks to go to MattGates.com and help me out.
steve bannon
I want to go back through this, because this is Inside Baseball about how this city really works and the frustration of people.
Talk to them right now, let's take the infrastructure bill.
You've got five or six that have become public on it, but you've got another, we're going to get these names up there, another 25 that if they see a clearing, they're going to tell the chamber, hey, I just need to see a clearing, I'm jumping on this to help out.
Walk us through how this city works.
What's happening right now behind the scenes?
matt gaetz
Well, I mean, there was a tectonic shift in the politics of this town when corporate America started canceling Republicans from the PAC dollars.
And since then, after January 6th, and Marjorie and I have talked about it right here in the War Room, almost every meeting of the Republican conference starts and ends with How do we get the money back?
How do we get the PACs and the Party of Davos to start filling our campaign coffers?
And you know, Lauren Boebert, Madison Cawthorne, myself, we laugh at that.
You know, we go to the people to resource our politics, but now the infrastructure bill is like the yellow brick road.
Back to the establishment.
Back to the money.
Back to all of the, you know, PAC donations.
These Republicans, they want to be swimming around in those dollars like Scrooge McDuck.
You know, swimming around in all those gold coins.
And they view this bill as the path to do it.
And what really hurt us was that so many Republicans in the Senate gave cover.
steve bannon
How does this thing stand right now in the House?
Where do you think the real votes are?
The war on Posse has been unbelievable.
We're going to get all these names up.
We need emails, we need text messages, we need phone calls, and particularly to the state offices.
matt gaetz
Well, you remember 2017 and the Obamacare repeal.
And what happened there was Paul Ryan, without knowing how the Senate would react to his health care bill, just sent it over.
And in doing so, Paul Ryan empowered John McCain to really do great violence to President Trump's agenda.
Nancy Pelosi isn't going to make that mistake with Manchin and Sinema.
She's not going to move until there's a global deal and they're on board and that stops the House from getting really just the rug pulled out from under it like we saw during Republican control.
So that's the dance that's going on but this might be one of the first times I'm betting on the progressives because they have reached a critical mass within the Democratic caucus.
The Congressional Black Caucus, for all of my life, has really been the most powerful institution within Democratic politics and within the Democratic Caucus.
Not so anymore.
Now it's the Progressive Caucus.
And they're out for blood.
steve bannon
And how did they do that so quickly?
Because you said, when this started, you had a handful of people, now they're basically calling the shots and even have turned Biden from a traditional liberal into a, this 3.5 trillion is so radical.
matt gaetz
Well, remember, the entire membership of the Democratic Caucus didn't change, but even people that used to behave more like moderates or centrists are now having to behave like the Woketopians because AOC and her crew knew how to really weaponize their fame and their star power into some of these races to get backup.
They went and got a Jamaal Bowman.
They went and took out a Democrat chairman.
And you know what?
We might have to do a little bit of that.
We might have to find Republicans who sell out, and we might have to go beat them in primaries.
And you know what?
That can be very therapeutic with the rest of the conference.
steve bannon
We've been the hardcore on the four no's.
No on CR, no on debt ceiling, no on infrastructure, no on the 3.5 trillion.
Right now, they shut this government down.
They're shutting down Pelosi, Schumer.
But you're hearing from the guys in the Senate saying, hey, we already got a win.
We've got them all disoriented.
And if this shuts down, Biden will get a big win when he brings it back out.
Is that complete idiocy?
matt gaetz
Well, I mean, that shows you that no one should ever allow Republicans in the United States Senate to define what a win looks like.
You know, I mean, that is not really where you go to find great bastions of courage.
And so, you know, it's my expectation that the progressives are going to flex, and we'll see if Republicans can hold the line, and if there is just too much temptation to get back in the good graces of the lobby corps for some.
steve bannon
There's no vote schedule today.
You're going to leave here, you're going to spend another segment with us.
When you punch out, you've got committee work to do.
But right now, you find that pretty stunning?
On a day the government, we are now 13 and a half hours away from the government shutting down.
Nancy Pelosi has nothing scheduled today.
matt gaetz
She doesn't have the votes.
steve bannon
So walk us through, walk us through, in your best idea, what's going to happen today.
matt gaetz
Well, I mean, what Nancy Pelosi is threatening is to put Biden's, you know, $3.5 trillion, you know, quote-unquote, bipartisan bill on the floor and force the progressives' hand.
steve bannon
You mean the infrastructure?
matt gaetz
The infrastructure, with a wink.
But Nancy, yesterday on the floor, she was going up to progressives that maybe don't have the same fame, who don't have the same campaign coffers as like an AOC or a Pramila Jayapal, and she's saying, hey look, do you really want to vote against the Joe Biden agenda if I put this thing up on Thursday or Friday?
I got the sense, just observing those interactions, that the progressives are sticking together and that they will bring down Joe Biden's agenda.
steve bannon
This is generational.
Rachel Maddon, every night.
If we allow this to pass, if we allow the infrastructure, the 3.5, and raise the debt ceiling, it's over for conservatives and Republicans.
Game over.
matt gaetz
Oh well, this is a political patronage bill.
I mean, this bill is going to fuel up every Democrat, left-wing, activist organization.
steve bannon
And every acorn pays for it.
matt gaetz
Every modern incarnation of acorn.
That was exactly what I was about to say.
And the headwinds will be far stronger.
steve bannon
It'll be very tough.
Okay, we're going to take a short commercial break.
As usual, the firebrand, Congressman Matt Gaetz, had a star turn the other day that is quite stunning about truth to power.
It happens very rarely in this town, but it happened the other day in the House.
We're going to play that, have some commentary for some liberal commentators, and then we'll turn back to Congressman Matt Gaetz.
Short commercial break.
unidentified
We'll be right back.
War Room.
Pandemic.
for the games you want to play.
Bring it on and have a fight to the end, just watch and see.
It's a- War Room, Pandemic, with Stephen K. Bannon.
The epidemic is a demon, and we cannot let this demon hide.
War Room, Pandemic.
Here's your host, Stephen K. Bannon.
matt gaetz
But, you know, when people in the military, like Lieutenant Colonel Stuart Scheller, stand up and demand accountability, when they say that you all screwed up, when they point out the General Milley statement that the Taliban, you know, that the government of Afghanistan is not gonna get defeated by the Taliban, well, he ends up in the brig.
And you all end up in front of us, and your former employer Raytheon ends up with a lot of money, and we have poured cash and blood and credibility into a Ghani government that was a mirage.
It fell immediately.
And while the guy sitting next to you was off, you know, talking to Phil Rucker, and was off doing his thing with Bob Woodward, We were buying into the big lie.
The big lie that this was ever going to be successful and that we could ever rely on the Afghanistan government for anything at all.
You know, General Milley, you kind of gave up the game earlier when you said you wanted to address elements of your personal conduct that were in question.
We're not questioning your personal conduct.
We're questioning In your official capacity, going and undermining the chain of command, which is obviously what you did.
You've created this whole chain of communication narrative.
I did not undermine the chain of command.
unidentified
Yeah, you did.
matt gaetz
You absolutely did.
I did not.
Well, you know what?
You said yesterday that you weren't going to resign when senators asked you this question.
And I believe that you guys probably won't resign.
You seem to be very happy failing up over there.
But if we didn't have a president that was so addled, you all would be fired.
Because that is what you deserve.
You have let down the people who wear the uniform in my district and all around this country, and you're far more interested in what your perception is and how people think about you in insider Washington books than you care about winning, which this group is incapable of doing.
unidentified
Now too many of them are just putting on a big ol' show.
Grandstanding, they're trolling, anything to get an attaboy from the base.
Matt Gaetz, who is on the record saying that there was never a bad day to end the war in Afghanistan, putting on a... You have to watch this.
A really disgraceful performance.
Here it is.
matt gaetz
You seem to be very happy failing up over there.
But if we didn't have a president that was so addled Do I really have to tell you what's going on here?
unidentified
Do I?
matt gaetz
Okay.
I probably have to tell you.
Here it is.
let down the people who wear the uniform in my district and all around this country, and you're far more interested in what your perception is and how people think about you in insider Washington books than you care about winning, which this group seems incapable of doing.
unidentified
Do I really have to tell you what's going on here?
Do I?
Okay.
I probably have to tell you.
Here it is.
I don't, but I will.
steve bannon
Okay.
Don Lemon.
We could have gone on with Don Lemon for a while.
Talk to the audience about what you were trying to accomplish there.
Because in that entire hearing, and we thought that the House would really take it up where the Senate didn't really get it done, but it didn't get it done.
It was you, a couple other guys too, men and women, but you really galvanized this.
matt gaetz
what we try to accomplish in every element of our society right now we see a separation of the elites they are trying to create their own little cocoon their own little ecosystem in the economy that works only for them in society that works only for them in places online that are preserved only for them and all that pepis are canceled and driven out and now we see the military dealing with that societal phenomenon
And you got these folks like, you know, Millie and Austin, who are totally incompetent, who have failed tactically, who have failed strategically, and they get to sit there in front of the Congress and say, well, you know, guess we screwed that up, guess we didn't really plan, guess we shouldn't have believed so much of our own bullshit about the Afghanistan government that was really never going to fight, never going to have the will to.
steve bannon
I mean, Let me play, let's get the, I gotta play the Austin clip.
We had to bifurcate this.
I want to play General Austin because this is just as powerful as the Milley.
Can we, can we play the Austin clip?
matt gaetz
Secretary Austin, are you capable of assessing whether another has the will to fight?
unidentified
No, we're not.
And that's the point that the chairman made earlier.
matt gaetz
This is a basic competency.
steve bannon
You're in the Armed Services Committee.
I say the defense bill, and you add it all up, it's a trillion dollars.
I understand it's got a number that's less than that, but we add everything from every agency.
We're spending a trillion dollars.
That is one of the most stunning revelations ever at any armed services committee.
You ask a former general, who is in charge of the extraction from Iraq.
My daughter served under him in Iraq.
You ask him probably the most straightforward question.
He says no.
matt gaetz
We knew the answer was no.
I just didn't think he was going to be so willing to admit it.
but my blood boils because patriotic men and women put that uniform on, they end up in my district, and then they do go all around the world with train and equip missions so that we can build up allies so that they can take care of themselves, so that they can believe in their nations and love their nations and protect their nations.
And that's what makes the world a better place, not surrendering to the party of Davos, not giving everything up to the globalist elites, but to show how pride in country can be helpful.
But you've gotta see that love and that desire to make a country.
It never existed in Afghanistan.
Now, it does exist in places in the world, and there is a role for America to play in helping our allies become more capable, but not under this man.
I mean, this guy doesn't even get, when we send a trillion dollars over the river to the Pentagon, how to deploy it in a way that will make the world safer.
And it is true that the war in Afghanistan needed to end.
The flaw wasn't ending the war.
The flaw was believing the Blinken strategy that we had to Withdraw in a way that relied on the Afghan government to fight and to stay and to provide security and to assist with what needed to happen for the protection of Americans.
But because we bought into that big lie, 13 Americans are dead today and their blood is on the hands of these failed leaders and I didn't mind letting them know it.
steve bannon
Okay, I want to go to basically the book, Peril.
He's got a phone call in late October, because Trump's on the campaign stump talking about the Wuhan lab with the Chinese.
Then later, these conversations, I know you've read them with Nancy Pelosi.
Give us your assessment of both of those, of the call with the Chinese, because Trump's talking about Wuhan lab, and then these bizarre conversations, which have been misrepresented in the press, if you read it from this book itself, about his calls with the Speaker of the House.
matt gaetz
Very damaging because there won't really be accountability for Milley under Biden and under the Unified Democrat control of the government.
And so you have to think to yourself, what's going to happen next when some senior military leader decides to take into their own hands major US policy choices?
We take as like an article of faith that what Milley did with General Lee was somehow de-escalating.
That could have been one of the most escalating moments in the history of the world.
Milley goes out there and removes America's first strike capability against China.
He does so unilaterally.
He does so without consultation with the President or with Secretary Esper.
Remember, he goes to great lengths to say, Esper was aware that I was making these calls But I don't believe any civilian was aware of the substance of those calls that resulted in this doctrinal change And how the United States approached China and and first strike I I we are very lucky that what he did didn't cause World War three with China to go quite kinetic and
And you're right, like the stuff that they're guarding against is Donald Trump finally telling the truth about Wuhan when you had the deep state over at the CDC and the Fauci empire trying to hide the truth.
And yeah, it's quite something to listen to Don Lemon say that I'm the worst person in the world.
Donald Trump was right.
Don Lemon is the dumbest man on television.
If Don Lemon has one brain cell, it's playing freeze tag.
He thinks I'm the worst person in the world?
I wouldn't even be the worst person at CNN by far!
You know, he's got Jeffrey Toobin rubbing one out during a Zoom call.
You got Chris Cuomo now facing new accusations.
There's a man, a bartender in the Hamptons, who has sued Don Lemon.
Now, you know, these are just allegations, but they're made in court and they're pretty telling, where Don Lemon would stick his hand down his pants and then put his fingers under the nose of male bartenders and ask them if they liked it.
So for this man to be calling me the worst guy in the world, it shows how vapid and empty he is, how vapid and empty CNN is, and frankly a mainstream media apparatus that would shill for these lying grifter generals instead of actually being a voice for the men and women who put that uniform on and express an elite level of patriotism.
steve bannon
As Firebrand, we only got a couple of minutes, but I gotta go back.
Two of the institutions that have been there that the Republicans have backed and done tax cuts and given money are corporations, the Chamber of Commerce, particularly big business, and the military.
matt gaetz
as institutions how can a maga and how can america first the at the tip of the spear to basically uh... it cleanse these in restructure on and and it really get to the bomb of the dry rot that's involved is there is nothing in the world that inspires me more then the patriotic spirit of the men and women who wear that uniform and so the the rotting corrupt entities at the pentagon you know they are not reflective of what happens all throughout this country and
all over the world to keep our nation safe and strong.
steve bannon
The Colonel Schellers and the Colonel Lohmeyers.
matt gaetz
Dang right.
steve bannon
And all the way down to the Eddie Gallagher.
matt gaetz
How is it, by the way, that Stu Scheller is sitting in the brig for telling the truth and these clowns get to be... Because in the timing, they didn't want him live on Facebook watching Matt Gaetz's testimony.
steve bannon
That's why he went to the brig on the night before the Senate.
It's obvious.
matt gaetz
I tried to put in the NDAA a disapproval of how Scheller was treated, and I couldn't even get Republicans on the Armed Services Committee to vote for him.
Why?
I think that there is something in the establishment Republican DNA that wants to believe that these institutions like Big Business and like the Pentagon and like the Lobby Corps will eventually be there for them.
And you know what?
They won't be.
And what we understand is there are actually more of us than there are of them.
And we take the fight to them.
I got news that you, Steve Bannon, went and gave a speech last night at the Capitol.
The Capitol Hill Club, and for those who don't know, that is like the center of the swamp.
And you walked in to a group of lobbyists and you gave a speech about how they have to stop influence peddling.
So just so people know, going to the Capitol Hill Club to tell people to not influence peddle for money would be like pitching a diet plan at the Golden Corral.
It would be like pitching sobriety to Hunter Biden.
You were not dealing with a highly receptive group there.
What were you doing over there, Steve?
steve bannon
You want to change minds?
I'm telling them we're coming for them.
Real quickly, how do you get to your podcasts?
matt gaetz
It's called Firebrand, everywhere you get podcasts.
Our biggest growing audience is on Rumble, a great way to enjoy the show.
steve bannon
How do you get to your website?
Since you're not taking PAG money, how do people get to your site?
matt gaetz
Hey, mattgates.com, and you know what?
I value those $10, $25, $50 contributions more than most because it is the whole game for me.
I work for you, I work for the people, not the lobbyists.
steve bannon
Twitter, Getter, what are you on?
matt gaetz
I'm on Twitter, at mattgates.
steve bannon
And you haven't been kicked off yet?
matt gaetz
Not yet!
Still here!
steve bannon
Matt Gaetz, the firebrand, is going to talk about it right now.
Jack Pasobic next.

Posobiec nailed one that's going to be big.
We're going to make a thing out of this thing.
We're going to get to in a moment.
We've got to bring in one of Wall Street's smartest guys, Jason Trenner.
Okay, Jason.
We've been, right now, Nancy Pelosi has nothing scheduled, but right, the Senate is about to crater on the CR.
We have said, hey, they have not made the case.
They have not made the case.
For how they're going to fund the government just basically and that's why you got to just block all this stuff and make them come back to you.
So we're the four nos.
No on the CR, no on the debt ceiling increase, no on the infrastructure bill, and no on this whatever this the safety net bill that's insane the 3.5 trillion or 5.3 trillion.
They say they're all paying for it now.
You're one of the steadiest hands on Wall Street.
The financial crisis we have is this out-of-control proposal for spending that the Biden regime is putting forward that had no due diligence.
He didn't run on it.
Now you're talking, I calculate, $15 or $16 trillion if we sign off on this.
What say you, sir?
unidentified
I couldn't agree more.
There is no crisis.
To the extent to which our interest expense, the U.S.
government's interest expense, is less than $400 billion a year, the U.S.
government takes in $3.4 trillion a year in cash revenues.
So there's no need to default on the debt.
What the need is, if you say no to all of those things, is just to prioritize the other things that the government is spending on.
And if you look at the amount of spending that has been passed over the last year and a half, and you look at the impact that it's had on real people's lives, like what you pay at the gas station, what you pay at the grocery store, it's very clear where this is going.
This is not good for the American people, in my opinion.
It's completely unnecessary.
What I don't know is the political fallout of this, I have to say, but it seems to me that the Democrats own this.
And the Republicans should not bail them out.
They should be forced, the Democrats should be forced, to come up with something that is reasonable, that keeps the government open, the parts that are important, and also allows you to grow the economy.
But the things that the Democrats and Biden are doing now, in my opinion, are so far away from the things that would help us get out of the amount of debt that we're in, that I think this is a time for choosing.
It's a time to stand up and say no.
steve bannon
So, Jason, this is in the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king, right?
What we've tried to do here is get away from all this crazy orgy and all this time spent on these, the orgy of spending that the swamp wants and lobbyists want, and focus on just some basics.
And this continuing resolution is about how the normal operating plan of the government, and you just nailed it in a very simple way.
Right now, and by the way, the ban, basically 17% to 19% of GDP is what taxes, if you raise taxes, it's still going to be within that ban as it has been historically.
Okay?
So right now we're taking about 3.4 trillion dollars in tax revenues.
And you maybe increase that.
That essentially offsets what the transfer payments are.
To kind of keep it simple, the Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security as currently structured.
This is my point.
Right now, the basic operating model, because we're in default, and she admits, Yellen says we're in default.
Right now, we're like the debtor in possession.
We're the dip lenders, right?
And you're looking at the business model and say, okay guys, I see you've got cash coming in, but you've got obligations legally for cash coming out.
Maybe we can change those later, but right now that offsets.
Then, I look at all your quote-unquote discretionary, including the defense budget, you're basically at a trillion and a half dollars.
That's a structural gap.
Walk me through the plan, and this is why they gotta not vote for this clean CR today.
Nancy Pelosi and Biden and Schumer have had, what, nine or ten months to comfort the American people instead of allowing them to run off in this madness.
They had nine or ten months, and we have to discipline them.
They've got to come back today or shut it down.
They'll shut it down and walk us through.
If you agree to this, it's a trillion to a trillion and a half in perpetuity.
This changes you from a Russian serf That doesn't own anything, with these negative interest rates, have no possibility of capital formation for yourself, to a debt slave.
It's so obvious, and any smart guy on Wall Street can tell you it's obvious.
Jason, force them to come back and make a presentation to the American people of how do you, just what Jason Trenum said, you got 3.5 trillion coming in, you got about 3.5 going out in transfer payments, you got a trillion and a half dollars.
Tell me how you're going to do that.
They're all saying, oh, it's paying for Trump.
No, we're talking about how you're going to pay for this.
Jason, are we wrong here?
Can you help us out and give us some guidance?
unidentified
No, you're not.
I mean, what I don't know, again, Steve, is I don't know the political fallout for this.
But this is a crisis for politicians.
It's not a crisis for everyday Americans.
It's a crisis for politicians because it may be a crisis for politicians because they can't spend what they want.
They can't spend beyond their means.
And the means of what we give them as taxpayers, okay?
And I feel very strongly that this attitude that is pervasive throughout Washington, particularly on one side of the aisle, that one's own income is some sort of dispensation of the government, as opposed to your own earnings, is insane to me.
And Ronald Reagan was great at speaking about this.
I've heard too many Republicans talk this way.
Frankly, for a long period of time.
But this is the issue, is that it's our money.
It's not their money.
And this happens in companies all the time, which, frankly, who ignore the wishes of the minority shareholders.
They ignore the wishes of the people that just own the stock.
And that's the nice thing about dividends and other things, because it reminds management that it's not their company four times a year.
We have to remind politicians that this is not their country, that they represent us, and that the income that we give them is precious, and that they have to prioritize their spending.
There is no crisis.
The debt will be paid.
The crisis is for politicians that have promised things to other people.
uh... and who may be embarrassed by not being able to put to follow through on some of the promises that they didn't really outside though those uh... that they've made the american people not not have the money Real quickly, how is this orgy of spending affecting Americans right now?
steve bannon
Because they get it.
This inflation, it's driving inflation.
This winter, people are going to be in shock when they've got to pay these heating bills.
Jason, just walk us through quickly how all this orgy of spending is driving this inflationary, which is going to be ravaging particularly the working class and people on fixed incomes.
unidentified
Well, I mean, inflation is the unkindest tax of all.
It's the most regressive tax.
It affects everyone, but it doesn't affect guys like me on Wall Street all that much.
It's not going to change their lifestyles.
But for an average person that just has to fill up their tank or go to the grocery store or might want to take their family out to dinner, it's very meaningful.
And it's very clear that with the Fed continuing to buy Treasury securities, and there being absolutely no limits on what government feels that it can spend, it's clear that it's running into inflation.
Inflation right now, CPI is running at 5.3%.
The expectations, according to the New York Fed, for inflation over the next year, are over 5%.
Those numbers were 1.5% to 2% a year and a half ago.
And so, without any sort of discipline in terms of spending, And without any sort of discipline, I would argue also on the part of the Federal Reserve to stop enabling this type of spending.
Inflation is going to go higher.
And it's already higher.
It doesn't take, you don't have to be an economics major, you can just see it in your daily life.
And again, inflation is the most regressive tax.
It hurts the poor the most.
It hurts working class people the most.
People who are loaded with stocks and bonds.
Jason, thank you very much.
Honored to have you coming on here with your logic.
I appreciate it.
I know it's crazy on the Wall Street today, so thank you very much.
that just might have a savings account is getting 0% interest, it hurts.
steve bannon
Jason, thank you very much. Honored to have you coming on here with your logic.
I appreciate it for taking the time. I know it's crazy on Wall Street today, so thank you very much.
unidentified
Thank you, sir.
steve bannon
Jason, Trent, the CEO of Strategist, that is just one of the top think tanks up there, one of the top advisors to all the hedge funds.
Dollar Tree, all this.
But I want to give us your assessment, Capitol Hill.
She has no vote schedule the last time we checked, right?
It is utter and total chaos.
This is the four nos and why the Senate has to stand strong on this, right?
But they're 13 hours away from, 13 and a half hours away from shutting down their government, right?
We can't let these guys off the hook.
Jack Posobiec from Human Events.
jack posobiec
Look, you see him there at the baseball game last night.
Nancy Pelosi freaking out on the phone, jabbing her finger from the dugout.
Joe Biden, you know, talking hurriedly on the phone.
steve bannon
Getting booed.
jack posobiec
Getting booed, right.
This is not what it looked like, which was kind of it.
Well, I think it's because it was the congressional games.
You had some Republicans there as well, right?
Because otherwise the D.C.
crowd, let me tell you something, they're not exactly Joe Biden.
Detractors around here, especially down Navy Yard, one of the... what do they call that in Star Wars?
A disgusting hive of scum and villainy?
You know, that's DC Navy Yard.
But when it comes down to it, when it really comes down to it, you look at some of the questions and you just hit on it about inflation, right?
We talked about, you and I were talking earlier about Dollar Tree.
This Dollar Tree news, and if people haven't heard it yet... Yeah, tell people what's happening.
So Dollar Tree has announced that for decades their entire business model has been You come in, you buy something for a dollar.
And the goal, you know, for people who go there is, like, they know it's, you know, stuff is not the best quality, but they're trying to find something.
steve bannon
And the other dollar stores have broken that over the last couple years.
Right, they were the last to hold that.
jack posobiec
Dollar Tree is their hardcore.
Their hardcore nationwide company.
And they finally have said, look, we can't do it anymore.
The crisis between the rise in the shipping costs, the supply chain breakdown, which goes back to two factors.
First factor is the coronavirus, Wuhan lab, all driven from China.
Second factor is the shipping shortage.
You have a worker shortage caused by vaccine mandates.
And then you combine that with the inflation that's going on.
Talk about war on the working class.
We're going to fire you, then we're going to take away your dollar stores, then we're going to raise your gas prices all at the same time.
This is a constellation of absolute hurricane proportions.
Flying, really.
It's hurricane inflation flying into Washington, D.C.
in the midst of while they're trying to deal with all this stuff because they realize they've put themselves in a stagflationary downward spiral.
steve bannon
Talk to us real quickly.
We've got about 30 seconds left of this segment.
Jack Bezos is going to be with us for a couple, then after, MTG is going to be here.
This city right now, they're in vapor lock over there, right?
jack posobiec
Absolute vapor lock.
I mean, you talk to anybody from the White House.
You talk to anyone else.
The one person, by the way, who's trying to skate through all this is Kamala Harris.
She's over there.
Oh, I'm going to talk to Gambia.
I'm going to talk to India.
I'm not involved with Afghanistan.
steve bannon
I gotta give a hat tip.
We're going to get into this in the next segment.
Jack Posobiec came up with this theory of the case.
First off, his thing on the overstate.
Absolutely brilliant.
He came up with the theory of the case on the White House.
I don't know.
Jack every now and again is going to chase a few rabbits.
That's okay.
He's a young man.
But he absolutely nailed it.
And I'll tell you who told us he nailed it was The Hill Today came out with a brilliant thing about the polling.
Harris up, Biden down.
We're going to get into Jack Posobiec's theory of the case of the wedge in the White House, and quite frankly, how MAGA can take advantage of it, next in The War Room.
unidentified

steve bannon
Okay, I want everybody, this audience has been amazing.
I actually, Matt Gaetz mentioned I gave a speech last night with the Capitol Hill Club to the Association of appointees, Republican appointees.
It was a little bit fire and brimstone talking about MAGA and talking about America First.
But everybody's hanging in this city on exactly what's going to happen and how we've jammed this people up and everybody's talking about the war on Posse.
So we're going to be putting names up.
Make sure you go to your congressman, make sure you go to the swing district Democratic congressman, but particularly today, the Senate.
And right now, Jack, they've scheduled a Senate vote for 11.15?
unidentified
11.05.
jack posobiec
So, Senate periodicals, vote update.
So they opened the session 10.30am, just as war room was beginning.
Now the vote update.
The votes on the CR will now begin at 11.05am.
That is 15 minutes as we speak right now.
steve bannon
They don't understand the politics of this.
Biden polling.
This will get into your Harris thing.
Biden is completely in a free fall in every aspect, whether it's Hispanics in Texas, African-Americans, African-American males, Hispanics overall, independents, women in suburbs.
There's not one category he's not in a free fall.
In Wall Street they say don't catch a falling knife.
There is no reason whatsoever to give any support to this regime at all.
They got themselves into this mess, they gotta get themselves out.
In this continued resolution, just to make sure when we say the four nos, this is essentially the annual appropriations and budget.
It's supposed to be done and approved because at midnight tonight, the way our government structured on September 30th, the end of the fiscal year, okay?
Tomorrow, October 1st, starts the next fiscal year.
Without an appropriations bill, without a budget and appropriations bill, there's nothing authorized to spend, right?
You're actually not authorized to spend it, so therefore the government has to start to shut down.
We're going to have Russ vote on former OMB under Trump in the back half of the show to talk about this.
But, if the Republicans just held the line, particularly in the Senate, right?
If they just held the line, Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer and Joe Biden would have to shut down the government and come to the American people and explain why.
And this I go back to all this nonsense, all these other bills.
The basic bill, we've taken 3.5 trillion dollars in tax and other revenues.
We have transfer of payments of about 3.5 trillion dollars.
Right now we have a structural deficit of a trillion to a trillion and a half dollars in perpetuity.
And until they can explain how they're going to finance that and how they're going to work with that under a debt ceiling, forget all this other madness.
And now this audience is so shocked.
That's why Jen Psaki's walking around saying, hey, the $3.5 trillion is actually zero.
We have a framework on how to pay for it.
That's just a lie.
That's just an outright lie.
You know it.
I know it.
And so, we've jammed them up, this audience has jammed them up, okay?
All of their great ideas and everything like that, they don't have the votes for the infrastructure, they don't have the votes for the CR, unless these Republican Senators of Mitch McConnell lets the Biden regime and lets Pelosi into promoting it.
And you're hearing those guys over there, well, we've already won enough, we don't want to be blamed for a government shutdown.
You're not shutting down the government, they're shutting down the government.
And then they say, well, Joe Biden will look like a hero when he comes out.
No, he won't.
No, he won't.
Also, with it shutting down, they're not going to be able to focus and get their caucuses to turn on each other.
The progressives are going to start that.
This is absurd.
jack posobiec
Right, that's what we need to get into.
You got AOC on Matto last night saying that the progressive caucus will not, will not Go along with this, unless their Green New Deal bill, all this other stuff, all these other goodies that they've been fighting for, are included.
They want everything else tied on.
This is a moderate versus progressive caucus thing, so it's actually interesting where MAGA is actually kind of on the same side as AOC, in a sense, right, in a spiritual sense, because we have a common foe here.
The situation is, it's a Franken- you know, we're going into October, right, so you've got Nancy Pelosi with a Frankenstein's monster problem on her hands.
Because she wedded herself to the progressive caucus of her party in order to try to maintain this basically what a five-seat majority in the House.
But in order to do that, they had to co-sign all of the squad's agenda items.
Those items and Manchin is the holdout here, so you've really got a game of chicken between Manchin and AOC.
steve bannon
I've been talking about this as the Shade War.
will get into it. I want to put up the Hill story. Do we have that in Denver? Okay, give us your theory of the case on Kamala Harris. You've been talking about this forever and the Hill basically came at the elite lead story at 6 a.m.
this morning confirming.
jack posobiec
I've been telling all the I've been talking about this as the shade war, right? I've said it's this. There's team Kamala and there's team Biden, right? And so many people said Posobiec, you're crazy.
You don't know what you're talking about.
unidentified
I was one of them.
jack posobiec
You don't have any real sources.
This is just, you know, you're dancing around the palace intrigue.
I know it's fun, but it's not coming out.
Understand what... Remember, she just hired a crisis comms director.
Now all of a sudden we're getting stories out about how Harris's poll numbers are rising as Biden's fault.
This is the wedge.
This is the friction point within the White House right now.
And furthermore, the fact that these stories are starting to run is these are trial balloons.
You are now getting the groundwork laid for what is coming.
A lot of people know what is happening.
You've got a Titanic and you've got a freight train.
You've got the Titanic being Biden, the fact that his poll numbers are sinking the way that we always told you that he would, that his agenda items are sinking the way that we always told you that they would, and the fact that the man himself is not capable of doing the job.
Meanwhile, Kamala Harris is doing a very good job, in a sense, in a political sense, of staying away and keeping her distance.
From all of the failures of Biden.
steve bannon
How could she not be?
And what is, and Maddo and everybody says this is true, generational.
If they get this stuff passed, we'll never get the country back.
They understand this is once in a generation to get a shot to do this.
And Kamala Harris is really nowhere on this.
She's kind of floating away from it all.
jack posobiec
Because she knows.
She knows that it's not going to happen.
So she's playing her cards like this.
She's saying, look, I stayed out of Afghanistan.
Look what happened.
I stayed away from the border.
Look what happened.
steve bannon
Although I'm in charge of it.
jack posobiec
Right, you know, I'm in charge of it.
I stayed away from the economy.
I stayed away from inflation, etc., etc.
All of these different various items that they wanted her to be a part of and wanted her to be in charge of.
I'm focused on root causes.
I'm focused on root causes, right?
Goes down to Guatemala.
It's all been a failure.
She has successfully put them all on Joe Biden and set herself up to become the first female president of the United States.
steve bannon
The knives are, it's not just the knives are out in the White House, they're being sharpened.
jack posobiec
You are going to see Team Biden now, which Jen Psaki is a member of, however, comma, Jen Psaki's brother.
In law, just signed on with Harris.
But you are going to see leaking on Kamala Harris, stories being planted, negative stories like you've never seen before.
steve bannon
Wow.
Jack Masovic got the theory of the case.
Short commercial break.
Back with Jack Masovic.
MTG's going to join us next hour.
Russ Vought.
Pact Hour.
