We need more generals and admirals.
We don't need woke social justice warriors.
We need warfighters.
Warfighters who are focused on the key missions of the U.S.
military, which is to kill our enemies, to win our wars, and to deter our adversaries.
We can no longer have generals and admirals who are pushing things like critical race theory, who are pushing leftist ideological priorities.
What we're gonna do is make sure that people recognize that every single penny that goes into the boots on every Lance Corporal who serves, that goes into every aircraft carrier we put to sea, every penny is paid for by American tax dollars, and we're going to make very clear that there will be no more money spent on these leftist priorities.
That was a mistake, was it not?
Not just in hindsight, but at the time, Or did you really have no clue at the time, no intel then, about how quickly the Taliban would take back power?
steve bannon
Thank you.
You're in the War Room.
It is Wednesday, 1st of September, Year of Our Lord 2021.
Now with 82 million downloads on the podcast, we're live.
We're still Extraction Under Fire.
We're still going through Afghanistan, but we've got a lot else to get to tonight.
The end of the Biden regime is before our eyes, and it's not the War Room saying that.
It is not the War Room posse who's been pounding this, the reason that he's imploding.
It's because of that.
It's simply because the American people are seeing it in their eyes.
The invasion on the southern border, the debacle in our finances, terrible jobs number today, and then some pollings coming out.
I want to go to Boris Epstein.
We had to track Boris down, so we just have him by audio.
But it's very important, I think, that we go through this.
By the way, very special show tonight.
Sean Parnell and Joe Kent were both endorsed by President Trump today.
Two warriors.
Joe Kent from the Iraq War.
Sean Parnell from the Afghanistan War.
Both endorsed by President Trump today.
We have Joe Kent on in the second hour with Natalie Winters.
She's going to be talking about the Chinese Communist Party and what they're doing working with progressive groups and what they're doing working with corporations here in the United States.
Also, we've got a very special tribute to our fallen heroes, 13 fallen heroes, and that will take place in the second hour.
We're going to start with some hard-nosed politics and what's going on.
Boris, we've got some election stuff to go through, but I principally want to get into these numbers.
We've got two polls out today, and I'm not seeing them played on CNN, and I'm not seeing them played on MSNBC, and that is the Economist's YouGov poll.
Steve, good afternoon.
Great to be with you.
Honored to be here.
boris epshteyn
Yeah, it's been a crazy day.
I've been running around Washington D.C.
in different meetings around what's going on.
Here's what I can tell you.
This poll from Economist YouGov that has the country on good direction versus wrong direction.
Generally heading in the right track.
This is 1,500 general election voters.
1,500.
It's a big sample.
29% right direction, 58% wrong track.
And that is a referendum, Steve.
That is a referendum on the Biden administration.
Referendum on Democrats.
Referendum on Nancy Pelosi.
upside down by 30 points in a poll that's D plus 14.
Okay, to break that down, what that means is they oversampled Democrats by 14% in this poll, and Democrats are still upside down by 30, which means they're upside down by almost 50%.
This is absolutely catastrophic.
Let me, I'm reaching for a word I haven't used on the show before.
This is catastrophic for Democrats in this country.
steve bannon
I wanna go back to, by the way, The Economist, as you remember, is the magazine of the party of Davos, so this is not like some right-wing blog doing this.
Well, everybody knows this is not some right-wing blog.
This is the most prestigious magazine in the world.
It's a huge sample, 1,500.
It's, by the way, It's 302 pages.
They publish all the crosstabs.
And we've got people right now, Richard Barris, Raheem Kassan, other people are going through it.
Tomorrow morning we're getting more details of really what the buried leads are.
But the top line numbers are so shocking, right?
So shocking.
It's over-weighted, D plus 14.
So if you just do the math, Right?
On right track, wrong track.
I mean, you could be at a 20, you could be 20% right track.
I mean, it could be in the teens, but literally could be in the low 20s to the high 70s negative, right?
Wrong track.
These numbers are horrific.
boris epshteyn
On the morning consult poll, here's the scary thing for Democrats.
Here's the scary thing.
The two polls track.
Right track, wrong track in the morning consult political poll.
Let me say it again.
Morning consult political poll.
Doesn't get more left mainstream media than that.
39% right track, 61% wrong track.
Again, upside down by over 20%.
That is absolutely staggering.
And again, I'll say catastrophic for Democrats.
Joe Biden's presidency, let me say this loud and clear.
Joe Biden's presidency is over.
It is over.
There's no coming back from this.
He's done.
Gonzo, put a fork in it.
steve bannon
The other thing too, people have to understand, normally when you get these kind of numbers, it's after the midterms, it's normally two or three years into it, when people have kind of heard enough of the guy or they're getting tired of it, that's when you start to get, they don't, his campaign promises, obviously he's not going to deliver on them, that's when you start to get the right track or wrong track.
It is unheard of.
With a guy in his honeymoon period.
With the mainstream media that's propping him up.
Remember the social media oligarchs, the mainstream media.
I know every time he comes out, it's something special.
And we've been saying, hey, if you look at the TV viewership and cable, he doesn't draw anything in the evening, right?
There's nobody going to the website.
Every time he shows up somewhere, there's no crowd.
There's no energy.
There's no heat.
Okay, this is all reinforcement.
By the way, we think he's totally illegitimate and that's gonna be proven in Arizona, Georgia and in Pennsylvania.
But to get these kind of right track wrong track numbers that are so and the implosion is so quick quick and they're both weighted And a leading indicator.
And they're also a leading indicator of where the country is.
And by the way, in the Democrats, remember, it's still orange man bad with the Democrats.
The Democrats have not abandoned this guy yet.
Who's abandoned him is the Republicans hated him from the beginning, right?
Who's abandoned him as independent voters.
They're kind of a proxy on where the country is right now.
Boris Epstein.
boris epshteyn
And a leading indicator.
And they're also leading indicator of where the country is because they're the ones who are looking at Joe Biden and saying, we were sold a bill of goods.
Okay.
And you better believe that these polls, these polls were released today, but they were done.
They were done a couple of days ago.
You better believe that when, when the polls come out and five days after all the mothers who've been so, so, so critical of Joe Biden, the mothers, the fathers of the 13 honored dead after that has played itself into the mainstream.
These guys numbers have no floor.
And Hey, we said, we said last week, I believe when he was at 41% overall, that he's going into the twenties.
Well, guess what?
Right track, wrong track, right direction, wrong direction.
He's in the 20s and there is no floor.
This is a stock in freefall.
Do not buy short all the way.
steve bannon
Yeah, don't catch a falling knife.
I want to go back to The Economist.
I haven't had a chance, and maybe you can pull up the morning consult, but with this heavily weighted to Democrats, a D plus 14 poll, and remember, the Democrats have not given up.
They're all orange man bad, so they're going to hold on to Biden all the way down, you know, until it splatters on the pavement.
unidentified
They're going to catch a falling knife?
steve bannon
His approval is what, 47%?
It's below 50 in a super-weighted poll to Democrats, and the Democrats are kind of a super-weighted to begin with, right?
If you look at the independents, once again, you've got in the 30s.
This goes back to my theory of the case.
You can continue to hammer on his illegitimacy, all people are not going to hear you right away, but as they see the radical nature, and even I didn't realize how radical it would be, but the radical nature of his regime, then add on top of it the incompetence That's why I think people have people a lot of, you know, they're supposed to, this was supposed to be our betters.
Trump was supposed to be so, you know, new to the world stage, didn't know really how to work with the Treasury and the Federal Reserve.
All this was so new to him.
There's not one person that wouldn't say, hey, I will take the stability and strength, purpose and direction of Donald J. Trump.
Now, given this, you have, go ahead.
boris epshteyn
Steve, what was the one thing when Joe Biden ran for vice president and then ran for president again, if you could call that running?
What is the one item, the one focus he had?
It was foreign policy, right?
This guy was the chair of the Senate Foreign Affairs Committee.
He knows foreign policy.
He's going to bring Americans standing back in the world.
Here's what's very troubling for Ron Klain, Susan Rice, and whoever's sleeping over there at the White House.
On the YouGov poll, the approval to disapproval of Joe Biden on foreign policy strongly approved just 17%.
Somewhat approved 22.
So between the two of them, you have 39.
Between somewhat disapproved and strongly disapproved, 49.
unidentified
He's upside down, Steve, by 10%.
boris epshteyn
Upside down by 10% on foreign policy.
And that's this guy's only strength.
He doesn't have anything else.
He doesn't know about business.
He doesn't know about the economy.
He was supposed to be the foreign policy guru.
He's already upside down by 10%.
And again, in a poll that is overweighting Democrats by 14%.
Absolutely staggering, Steve.
I do not see.
Do not see how he comes back from this, especially since it's only going to get worse from here on.
steve bannon
Here's how they're going to do it.
By the way, we'll take a look at this morning console poll in the break.
Here's the way they're going to do it.
And this is why Nancy Pelosi is so panicked.
They need to get through the spending bill.
They need to get through the infrastructure bill.
And now it's inextricably linked with the social spending $3.5 trillion.
They've got to go and try to buy off the American people.
It's the only shot they got.
The shot they have is that we're going to give you all these goodies.
We're basically going to give you a social safety net that takes care of you cradle to grave.
That's what they have to... Forget what it does to the balance sheet of the Federal Reserve.
Forget what it does to the finances of the United States.
Forget what it does to future generations.
They're in panic mode.
And she's known this for a while.
I think she felt this was coming.
That's why she's been trying to jam these bills through.
But here's the point, Boris.
He has zero political capital.
In fact, he has negative political capital.
He's going to be dragging guys down around.
You're going to start to see these roll through in the Congressional races and the Senate races, right?
This is a guy that is now radioactive, okay?
Because there's been enough consistency in these polls, and it's not like he had a couple of bad breaks.
All of these, this goes back to Steve Cortez.
Right.
These are the crises.
This is the American carnage of Joe Biden.
This is Joe Biden's American carnage by his policies.
And on top of it, it's the radical policies.
He didn't really have a lot of support anyway, since he was illegitimate.
Radical policies.
And then his big selling point, as you said, was his competency.
He's been around here forever.
America is back.
Remember, America is back.
And now it's a complete...
By the way, in the next segment, we're going to talk about the outright lying of what's going on, of what actually happened.
Boris Epstein.
boris epshteyn
First of all, we all know that Joe Biden is, A, not legitimate, and B, doesn't even know what day it is, right?
He has no idea about what's going on.
But here's the key.
You've got Nancy Pelosi, you've got Chuck Schumer, but the biggest thing is you've got 2022 coming up.
They think they're going to only lose 20 seats or 30 seats.
They're looking at a 2010 type swing right now, but it may be worse, because remember, Barack Obama was a lot of things.
But decrepit, completely feckless, and obviously hopelessly incompetent?
You can't really say that in 2010 yet.
That came later, okay?
Joe Biden is the worst.
I won't dare anybody, you know, during the 2020 campaign, when I was the head of Jewish Outreach for President Trump, I said to the guy who was Jewish Outreach for Biden, I said, Aaron Kiak, come debate me anywhere, anyplace, anytime, okay?
I said to the Hillary Clinton pathetic comms team, come debate me any place, any time, anywhere.
I will challenge anybody right now to tell me or show me any president in the history of the United States, in the history of the United States, Buchanan, Pierce, Hoover, whoever you want, Carter, who even comes close to being as bad as Joe Biden has been in these first several months.
It is actually historic and Overwhelming.
I bet you nobody, nobody could point to a president that's been nearly as bad as Joe Biden, and that's a huge albatross for Democrats in 2022.
steve bannon
And here's what I want to leave you with as we go to commercial break.
This is not a National Pulse's poll.
Right?
This is not a poll done by American Principles Group, Terry Schelling.
This is not some right-wing group that commissioned these polls.
This is not a poll that The War Room did.
This is not even Richard Barris or Trafalgar.
Some of the more conservative guys really have their hands on the Trump thing.
This is The Economist's YouGov, which is the big poll on the left.
And it is Politico Morning Consult.
You can't get more legitimate or more left.
unidentified
Mainstream.
steve bannon
And these polls show, mainstream, well this is left to me, it shows you he is in a total.
and complete freefall you know why because this audience you have sat there as as force multiplies a force this all out into the public so even his pretorian guard of the social media oligarchs in the media became protected this once again ladies and gentlemen is the common sense of the american people coming through They're weighing and measuring this, guys, because they didn't have a chance in the summer of 2020.
unidentified
Exactly.
steve bannon
Because it was all hidden.
Because they knew they were going to steal it.
Okay, the big steal.
Perkins Coy, we're going to get to Boris's favorite topic, Perkins Coy.
Okay, this is another extraction under fire, short commercial break.
Boris and I will go through more numbers on the implosion of the Biden regime next in the war room.
unidentified
I just want to put a pin in that report.
Was the president in any way pushing a false narrative in that call with the Afghan president?
jen psaki
I think it's pretty clear.
Again, I'm not going to go into details of a private conversation, but what we saw over the course of the last few months is a collapse in leadership.
And that was happening even before Ghani left the country.
What the president has conveyed repeatedly privately and publicly is you need to stand up and lead your country.
And that's something he said at a press conference in July in public forum as well.
steve bannon
It seems to me, by the way, Citizens Free Press right now, Kane and the great team over there, are putting up at the top some of Boris and I's, what we're talking about, the numbers.
Everybody go to MyPillow.com right now.
Promo code WARROOM.
Sheets, 50% off.
Okay, you got the toppers?
unidentified
50% off.
steve bannon
You got slippers?
Super sale on slippers.
You got pillows?
You got all of it.
Okay, but these sales are not going to last forever.
Go to MyPillow.com right now.
Support the fight for freedom.
Action, action, action.
Use your agency.
Go there now in the square.
Go inside there.
You can see all the different sales.
Also, I want to say, and we're expanding all the time with the Real America Voice team, KAGW-TV26 in Wichita, Kansas.
I want to welcome our new affiliate in Wichita, Kansas.
That's KAGW-TV26 in Wichita, Kansas.
Real America's Voice.
Keep America great again, Kansas.
Okay?
Keep America great, Kansas.
Really thank Channel 26, TV 26, KAGW in Wichita, Kansas.
And by the way, we may announce a lot more of these affiliates as the terrific team at Real America's Voice punches out throughout the country and rolls it out on different platforms.
Also tomorrow, Thursday, Ben Berquam and the team, Amanda Head, are going to be down in Georgia.
And I'm going to join them for the first segment like we did yesterday.
Just fantastic.
They're doing a tour of the country to get a feel for the folks around.
Boris, these numbers...
The reason this is important, ladies and gentlemen, is to get focused on what's going to happen in the next days and weeks ahead, okay?
Because they're coming back, and what they're coming back with is got these massive spending bills.
These bills will transform the United States.
We will not be able to put the genie back in the bottle.
And that's why President Trump today, he gave this interview with John Frederick.
It's almost an hour long on the John Frederick Radio Show, and picked up live by Real America's Voice.
And he spent A good portion of the interview beaten down on Mitch McConnell, and particularly beating down on the collaborators that backed the $1.25 trillion infrastructure bill that's leading into this social spending bill.
The debt ceiling is coming up.
We have 100 Republicans that have signed it.
That's not enough yet.
We need to block this.
No Republican can vote for the The debt limit, the increase in the debt limit, that's where we gotta draw the line.
We have to draw the line.
We can't increase the national debt a penny.
Can't increase it a penny.
And Joe Biden has no political capital.
You say, hey, tough.
You guys are at 39%.
Right now in the independents, And Borger's right.
This polling, they were in the field probably Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Okay?
That was bad.
But the whole getting out of Afghanistan was so humiliating.
And what's happened since then?
We've had the mock funerals.
I don't know if you've seen the mock funerals, if we can get it up during this segment.
Denver would be fantastic.
This is where they have these caskets of the, now they're not real caskets, but they look like it, caskets of the French with the French flag around it, caskets of the British with the Union Jack around it.
They have Old Glory around it and they're dancing in the street and they're mocking and ridiculing, you know, the Americans have been defeated.
We've created a terrorist super state.
Right there you heard Jen Saki.
I've got to ask you, Boris, before we get back to the numbers, this is going to be a couple of controversies.
Gateway Pundit's got an explosive story out about the young Marines and about the targeting of the bomber.
We have not been able to verify that, so we can't play that audio, but go to Gateway Pundit if you want to see it.
It's pretty explosive.
But also there's this whole thing now about what did he tell Ghani and what did he have conversations with Ghani about?
The buried lead on the thing with Ghani, he called the guy one time for 12 minutes.
I mean, here you've got an ally that you've been there for 20 years.
And look, Ghani's not my cup of tea.
You know, I'm not a nation builder.
But you're kind of, you are what you are.
He's the Afghan government.
He's in charge of the Afghan Security Force, the Afghan Army, the Afghan Air Force.
He's the president.
It all reports up to him through his Joint Chiefs of Staff.
They have, I think it's a 12-minute conversation, of which Biden essentially tells him to lie.
Am I incorrect in that, Boris?
You're in communications.
I mean, they have not printed the audio.
Because the audio would be a thousand times... You know, President Trump was having a conversation with the President of Ukraine, and of course they tried to impeach him, or they impeached him, but he lost at trial.
But here, you've got a President telling a guy to basically lie.
Hey, you've got to tell the world it's a lot better, we're in better shape than we are.
Boris Epstein.
boris epshteyn
It's, again, you know, at some point, Steve, it gets so bad that you start struggling to use... Because we want to keep it fresh here at the War Room, right?
We're always signal, not noise.
He gets so bad, he starts struggling for words to describe just how terrible it is.
And that's when numbers come in, and numbers are very helpful.
And again, here's what's so troubling.
Here's what's so troubling to whoever the half of brain is behind Joe Biden.
If you look at the numbers on foreign policy in the morning consult poll, okay?
The approval.
unidentified
It is tracking the YouGov poll.
boris epshteyn
It is tracking the YouGov poll.
unidentified
Wow.
boris epshteyn
His approach strongly and somewhat is 37.
unidentified
His disapproved, Steve?
52!
boris epshteyn
52!
Again, 37 approved on foreign policy, which is supposed to be the only thing Joe Biden is good at.
52 disapproved.
15% underwater.
15% underwater.
steve bannon
So now they're sitting at the White House.
And by the way, Mitch McConnell gives some talk, and I guess it's picked up at some fundraiser or something out in Kentucky.
He said, oh no, we're not going to do anything with Biden.
Biden's not going to be impeached.
He's not going to be removed from office.
I'm saying, how are you getting ahead of the wagon train here?
First of all, we're taking the House back over.
You're absolutely correct.
Obama, because Obama's radicalness, the Tea Party won, I think, 62 seats.
In 2010, the biggest since the Great Depression, since 1932.
Okay?
You could see that type of number coming up, and guess what's going to be on the agenda?
Impeaching Joe Biden and removing him from office.
Because of these actions, direct actions.
So I don't know, this is once again, Mitch McConnell is not on the same page with President Trump, and clearly President Trump did a big beatdown of him today.
Also, President Trump endorsed Sean Parnell in Pennsylvania, and Sean Parnell is no Mitch McConnell fan, right?
And we started the show with Cortez having Eric Greitens.
Eric Greitens went yard last night on Newsmax TV, the 9 o'clock hour, with Steve Cortez and Jen Pellegrino.
Just incredible.
So, right now, you know, Biden has no political capital.
In fact, he has negative political capital.
unidentified
Negative!
steve bannon
Now is the time, this is why MTG and others, now is the time to go in for the kill.
Now is the time to oppose everything, all this radicalness, all these people have been standing back and kind of, you know, Kevin McCarthy, they've been testing the wind.
Now you can go in and shut the whole thing down, right?
They've got no political capital, that means no infrastructure bill, that means no social spending bill, no HR1, they have no political capital.
And you tell those Democrats in these swing districts, hey, you're going to get run out of town, your political career is going to be over If you back these radical policies of Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi, and that's how you stop.
You grind it all to a halt.
You grind it all to a halt.
OK, all of it right here.
And these numbers are showing you.
I got to tell you, there's never been a guy in the presidency that's ever had numbers like this.
Maybe Lincoln, but that's because the country was divided and half of them punched out by April, right?
But I'm saying no other president, and obviously he saved the union, in the North he was tracking at 90% or 95%.
But if you look at the country, I don't think there's been any president the first six or seven months in where people say, hey, there's obviously been a mistake here.
There's obviously been a mistake.
Here's the mistake.
Social media oligarchs, the media, Perkins Coy, all that.
The guys that stole it, and then the guys that covered it up, and the people that didn't even let any due diligence go on.
You know, he's supposed to be so competent.
He's supposed to be such a steady pair of hands on foreign policy.
Why wasn't he pressed on that in the summer of 2020?
Why was he put under fire about what exactly he was going to do in Afghanistan and other places?
No, they covered for him.
And so, Boris, I think they own it, right?
Chase Bank owns it, trying to de-platform, trying to de-bank General Flynn.
The tech oligarchs own it.
The media companies own it.
Rachel Maddow, and by the way, Rachel Maddow can go spend more time with her family.
You still own what you've done to this country, just like Perkins Coy.
Boris Epstein.
boris epshteyn
You know, the saddest thing is this, is the memory hole that's going to be attempted by the Rachel Maddows of the world.
by MSNBC, by CNN, of course, Stelter, you know, the potato head over there. The memory, they're going to try to fool the American public and tell us that no, no, no, they didn't want to, they don't put Biden here. They were just honest arbiters. And we know that is a lie. We know that it's nonsense.
And if anybody thinks that Rachel Maddow is taking time off to go and stop in her nightly show to go be with their family's noise.
You are absolutely wrong.
That is a signal as it gets.
Rachel Maddow signaling, I'm out.
I am done.
The guy that we rigged the system to bring into the White House is a disaster.
And I don't wanna be here when it completely blows up.
Well, you know what?
It blew up earlier than she even expected because it's blown up now.
You have got a president.
You've got, I mean, you know, he's in the, I don't think he's legitimate, but he's in the Oval Office.
You've got a decrepit, feckless guy who's there, who does, who cannot answer for anything.
And here's the deal.
Why do you have a 12 minute call with Ghani and that's it?
We know why, because he can't do any longer.
That's all he can, he's not, we don't have a rudderless White House.
And let me say this again, because this is actually where it all boils down to, Steve.
And that's why the approval isn't freefall.
There is no one steering this ship, okay?
In our, in our political system, we, we have a political system where the president, the executive power is almost absolute to a degree, but it's definitely widespread.
Okay.
And when you have somebody who has no control of himself, no control of the facts, no knowledge of what's going on, this isn't some political thing.
Boris and Steve are up there and you know, we want to win some seats.
it's one of two this is existential for america this is dangerous because we've seen it before my family's seen it this is what happened when i had a bunch of decrepit that was guys in the former soviet union again i will not be honest in march in march of this year president and drop-off chairman call and the country was done it fell apart in eight years by the way you get you judge the bellwether for in the house's retirement
unidentified
Yeah.
steve bannon
We've had Avila down in the Rio Grande Valley.
You've had Kind up in Wisconsin.
They're retiring.
Rachel Maddow retired.
Don't tell me about the weekly show and doing West Wing.
You retired.
You're trying to run out of here.
You're going to see a lot more retirements as these numbers implode, as we keep the pressure on.
Now's the time to go in for the metaphorical political kill.
unidentified
OK?
steve bannon
We're going to press our bet here.
It only is going to get worse.
Let's get into the high 20s.
I told you, put a three-handle on it, you stop it.
Put a two-handle on it, maybe he leaves the yard.
Maybe he just turns it over to Kamala and says, hey, I'm out of here.
Okay, short commercial break.
We're opening a new front.
That front is California.
We're going to talk to Tom Del Vecaro, Boris Epson, Stephen K. Bannon in the War Room next.
Welcome back to the War Room.
The great Steve Cortez has an amazing tweet just put out.
Team Biden thrilled that today is September 1st.
Joe Biden's August was the worst month for any president in American history, with three concurrent created crises.
Afghan evacuation disaster, the border crisis, and the Biden inflation spike.
By the way, the jobs numbers there was atrocious.
I think the private sector, 324,000 jobs, supposed to be 600,000.
Oops, kind of a miss, kind of an airball there, right?
So it is collapsing all around me.
Boris Epstein and I are here going through numbers.
Two huge polls today, left-wing mainstream media polls, The Economist magazine and then Politico.
Both came out in polls.
It shows that the Biden regime is imploding.
Imploding because of their policies.
Imploding because of their execution.
And people have now lost confidence.
I want to bring in Tom Del Beccaro from out in California.
He's been one of the leaders of this recall.
Newsom, we're opening up another front.
I cannot emphasize to this audience enough.
About how you have to be a force multiplier for this, because this California, this election or this recall effort is of national import, and it's not for the California voters to decide, obviously, to recall him and to have the other candidates, Larry Elder and there's a whole bunch of guys, I think there's 50-some people, Right, a couple of Democrats, mainly Republicans.
But to me, it's not that.
It's about the recall of Gavin Newsom.
So Tom, first I've got to ask you, Boris and I have been going through this math, and you've been around politics a long time.
You're former chairman of the California Republican Party, which was always the most Powerful state Republican Party with people like Richard Nixon and people like Reagan and others.
It was just incredible.
So how is the Biden situation?
What's your assessment of it?
And how is it going to play into California politics?
unidentified
Well, Steve, as you know, voter enthusiasm is a big deal, right?
And prior to this implosion in August, Democrats came out were Really into this recall only about 30% of Democrats, whereas about 80% of Republicans said that they were very much interested in this race.
And that's before the Biden implode, right?
And remember, Gavin Newsom isn't that well-liked.
That's what I wrote about at Fox.
Why isn't he that well-liked?
Because honestly, he hasn't gone out and earned anybody's vote.
It was handed to him.
So whenever you depress your party's vote, and that comes from the top, if people don't like the president of their and it's their party, they tend to be down on the mouth and don't vote as much.
But this is California.
48% Democrat registration.
This is a nip and tuck battle.
And on the ballot is the California model.
Why is Biden having such a bad time?
Because the California model or the big government model always fails in history, right?
It's failing now.
This is predictable.
These policies are bad.
Weakness abroad is bad.
And what is Joe Biden's job security?
Kamala Harris, who says we're bringing the California model to DC.
So what's happening in California is Gavin Newsom is panicking.
We know that from insiders who talked to us about it.
You know how I know he's panicking, Steve?
Bernie Sanders is doing his commercials.
I want you to think about that.
Who does Bernie Sanders appeal to, folks?
The far left.
And if you have to appeal to your far side of your party, 13 days before an election, you know they're in trouble.
So that's why this second front is so important to debunk the California model and unseat Gavin Newsom and prevent him from becoming president of the United States like he wants to.
steve bannon
Yeah, that's why I thought this recall was so important.
I've got to ask you, and Boris, jump in here, but you've been in politics a long time.
The Biden numbers, and you've seen, you haven't had a chance to go through all the crosstabs as we're just starting to do.
I mean, I've never seen numbers like this.
This is just a complete implosion across the board.
How tough is it, Tom, when you start hitting this and people start to make their mind up, they're actually seeing you in action on big things like the economy, like the southern border, like geopolitics and national security, things like Afghanistan.
Once they make their mind up, it's very tough.
Walk us through, how tough is it to come back and to really get your sea legs and get back in positive territory where you actually have political capital?
unidentified
Well, there's two aspects to polling, right?
One is the policies.
How is that working out?
Is it a temporary thing or is it something more endemic?
And then there's whether or not people like you.
Remember, when Bill Clinton came back from Lewinsky and the like, people liked him.
He recovered from his mistakes because people were invested in him, at least a certain amount.
No one's invested in Joe Biden.
We know that.
Eighty-one million voters, whatever it was, less that.
Right?
So they're not investing in him.
boris epshteyn
Tom, I'll sell you the Golden Gate Bridge.
If anybody believes that, I'm selling the Golden Gate.
unidentified
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no Yes.
steve bannon
That's a huge point for this audience to understand.
This is where the lie comes out.
You can't have this kind of free-fall.
If you had real votes and you had real support, right, you would have some sort of floor on the way down.
But Delma Carr says it's not.
There's nobody there to catch you.
unidentified
Yeah, nobody has ever been invested in Joe Biden, really, right?
That's why he ran a couple of times and imploded.
It's why Kamala Harris ran.
Remember, I'm the first on national TV to say she wouldn't even make it to Iowa, and she didn't.
Why?
Because no one is invested in her.
She hasn't done things for others.
Gavin Newsom, the same thing.
This is why we at RescueCalifornia.org, and we still need your help out here, RescueCalifornia.org, Politicians that don't go the extra mile for others?
Have a thin base of support.
And when policy fails them, then they tend to fail and they can't come back from that sort of thing.
So we know Biden's not going to come back.
We know Harris is already in trouble.
And when the top of your ticket is in trouble, the bottom suffers.
And Gavin Newsom is, the protest vote is September 14th.
And we at RescueCalifornia.org think we're going to recall Gavin Newsom When no one said it was possible, let alone the possibility of getting the petition with 2.2 million signatures.
steve bannon
Before I answer about the current situation of the fires and what we call the California model, talk to me, when I see the math, the thing I find most intriguing, and when I see the LA Times in complete meltdown, is the Hispanic vote.
I think the last poll, at least I saw, the last big poll, had 51% of Latinos and Hispanics Supported the recall?
I mean, if the Democratic Party in this recall with Biden imploding on the national stage, Kamala Harris being very unliked, if they lose the before the 2022 election in the fall of 2021, have a major revolt or just not turning out by the Hispanic vote, Latino vote in California, which they basically say we own and that's how they've changed the state and try to change the nation.
How real is that, Tom?
And how big a deal would that be if it actually if you guys pull it off?
unidentified
Yeah, our polling at rescuecalifornia.org also shows that the Latinos don't favor Newsom.
He's had a problem with them for years.
Why?
Because he doesn't do anything for them.
He doesn't go out and help them.
And what do they care about?
It turns out, Stephen, you know this as well as anyone in the country.
They care about jobs, they care about safety and crime, and they care about healthcare.
They can't get jobs in California during the shutdown, right?
Healthcare in California, it's difficult and it's expensive, right?
And crime, 65% of Californians think crime's too high.
So he's gonna lose on balance, on net, he's gonna lose the Latino vote and that could be the underbelly.
And the reason why the LA Times is on Meltdown, by the way, LA Times wrote an editorial against the recall and one of the guys who wrote it is moving to Texas.
So, this is the duplicity.
That's a true story.
This is the duplicity that is California and the media.
But the reality is, you can't hide from these things.
You remember, Steve, during the first Iraq war, when Baghdad Bob was saying, oh, everything's fine, and the TV showed the tanks rolling in?
Yes.
steve bannon
Yes.
unidentified
Well, you can't lie about the fires.
You can't lie about the crime.
You can't lie about homelessness or the fact that people don't get jobs.
And so that's why, again, that's why Newsom is vulnerable, because the truth on the ground is different than what Bernie Sanders is saying.
steve bannon
And Steve, this is such... Yeah, go ahead, Boris.
Jump in.
boris epshteyn
Steve, interesting to go back to what we talked about.
Last year, a year ago, a little more than a year ago, the top two leading Democrats, unquestionably, the top two leading Democrats were who?
unidentified
Yeah.
boris epshteyn
Gavin Newsom and Andrew Cuomo.
How are they doing now?
Done and dusted.
Done and dusted.
Joe Biden was never a leader of the Democrat Party, right?
Joe Biden was always this guy.
He was fifth in Iowa.
He was sixth in New Hampshire.
And then the Clyburn rescued him in South Carolina.
That's what happened.
Joe Biden was never a leader.
It was assumed that maybe Cuomo or Gavin Newsom were going to get in.
And now Cuomo is gone.
Gavin Newsom is hanging on by the skin of his teeth, and so is the Democrat Party.
Tom is so right.
What's happening in California, the Democrats have tried to bring nationally.
We talked about this yesterday.
They tried to bring this nationally.
But as we talked with Congressman Matt Gaetz yesterday, right, it's one thing to have Democrats and libs running around academia, right?
Running around universities with the Ivies and all that.
It's another thing to have them with some think tanks.
But what this last year proves, and CNN, CNN had a headline today that Biden's August was historically terrible.
This is CNN.
What this proves is you cannot have liberals anywhere near decision points at any level, okay?
unidentified
They don't know what they're doing.
steve bannon
So that's a point I want to get to on the California Model Time.
We've got a couple minutes left in this segment.
When people look at the Golden State, and think of what it's done for America, with aerospace and high-tech, and obviously Hollywood, all the great things it has done for the country, right?
And all the great leaders, particularly conservative leaders, in Jarvis and the tax revolt, all of it that came out of there.
And to see the state today, walk us through, what is the collapse of the California Model Time?
First of all, I just see the fires.
And it doesn't seem like Newsom or anybody's got control.
There's no organized pattern for what to do.
These towns just burned down.
Is that symbolic of the burning down of what we call the California model?
unidentified
Yeah, because they put policy over reality.
They want to have a social justice state.
They want to have a bunch of laws that say what life should be like, and then they ignore the real work of government.
I mean, California has the worst roads, with some of the worst roads in the country, even though it's one of the richest states.
You come from Arizona, where they have nice roads, and Nevada, and you come here, and they're bad.
Why?
Because they don't spend their money on The basics.
And the basics should be safety, which includes, of course, things like thinning forests.
Instead, they just let these places burn, and they're burning it now twice the square miles of Manhattan Island.
And they care about social justice, but not crime.
Steve, I don't know if you saw the headline today from San Francisco.
They are literally going to do a pilot program, are you ready?
To pay people not to shoot other people.
If that's not a failure of government, I don't know what is.
Paying me not to shoot somebody?
We should all just sign up because, you know, we're not going to shoot people.
boris epshteyn
I'll take it.
steve bannon
I'll take it.
Yeah, no, by the way, people don't realize the highest poverty rates, Cortez I think is going to do this tomorrow night, the highest poverty rates in the country are in California, the Golden State.
Tom, tell us about the organization.
What do you guys need in the final 13 days?
RescueCalifornia.org.
unidentified
Yeah, Rescue California.
Yeah, RescueCalifornia.org.
What we're doing is a very targeted digital campaign and phone campaign to low propensity voters on the Republican side and we're the one group hitting independence.
RescueCalifornia.org.
We need money to reach them to make this happen.
Imagine the earthquake that will be politically if we can pull this off.
steve bannon
It's unbelievable, by the way.
So it's a get-out-the-vote effort.
Go to rescuecalifornia.org.
Tom Del Beccaro.
Amazing job, Tom.
When you first started talking to me about this, I said, not in a million years.
I gotta tell you, brother, you pulled this one off.
It's amazing.
unidentified
Me and a lot of others.
Thank you so much.
steve bannon
I know.
boris epshteyn
God bless you, Tom.
steve bannon
God bless.
Thanks.
Okay, short commercial break.
You saw the second front.
The second front's California.
We're going to come back, get some more analysis and ideas and opinions from Boris Epstein.
We're going to tee up.
We've got Natalie Winters.
We have Joe Kent, who just got endorsed by President Trump.
We're going to do a special observation to honor our war dead, the 13 young men and women that just gave their lives for their country last week.
All next hour in the War Room.
unidentified

It's time to cancel cancel culture.
steve bannon
It's not just that it's technologically pretty proficient.
Look, I'm not a social media guy, but the fact that if you build a base over there in your community, right, if you get 10,000, 15,000, 25,000, 100,000, there's not, there's no, you're not going to be deplatformed by the whims of Jack Dorsey and this crowd.
The fact is that you've got the ability to actually build a community for yourself, your brand, and your thoughts.
boris epshteyn
It's great.
And the engagement.
I had somebody, a former White House colleague of mine, say to me yesterday how the engagement on Getter is miles better than it is on Twitter.
The likes, the reposts.
And this is still a platform that's being built out.
unidentified
The fact that this has gone as fast as it has.
boris epshteyn
The fact that this has developed as fast as it has, and there's such a community.
You've got General Mike Flynn on there.
Of course, Steve, you're on there.
War Room's on there.
Humbly, I'm on there.
And then most importantly, the audience.
The War Room posse is on there.
It is really unparalleled.
I honestly will say to the folks out there who are not on yet, you've got to get on.
And yes, I'm on there.
And yes, I love pushing it out.
But completely objectively, this is the place for us.
Because you can say what you want.
You can say your truth.
And you're not going to be censored.
You're not gonna be pushed down, crammed down by the big tech oligarchs.
And again, you saw yesterday, first General Flynn is told by Chase, oh, you're getting debanked.
She goes on getter blast.
The next thing you know, Chase is saying, oh, we sent the letter by accident.
So getter is action, action, action.
And it all comes together, right?
Just this morning, I sent out a newsletter saying go to getter.
People are on Getter.
Tomorrow I'm going to send out another link to this segment.
So it all flows together.
If you want to be in the MAGA stratosphere, if you want to be with us, you want to be hearing what's going on, you've got to go to Getter.
And hey, I'll say this humbly, you've got to sign up for the newsletter at BorisEP.com.
That's where the new website is.
And Steve, let me tell you something.
I've seen the mock-ups of the new website, the BorisEP.com.
It is absolutely MAGA gangbusters.
steve bannon
Fantastic.
Okay, give me your closing thoughts.
We're going to get to Natalie Winters in the next hour.
Joe Kent, who's just gotten an endorsement for Donald J. Trump, is going to join us.
Captain Ben is going to be here.
We're going to have a special tribute to the 13 honored dead from Kabul.
Give us your closing thoughts on the implosion of Joe Biden, because this is, we're in a historic moment, ladies and gentlemen.
No president has had a worse month than Joe Biden just had, and it's incumbent upon the war room posse to continue to drive, metaphorically, the stake in the heart of the vampire.
boris epshteyn
It is always signal, not noise here.
So if you look at these two polls, YouGov and Politico, these polls tell you clearer than anything, clearer than we've ever seen, how bad of a place Joe Biden is in.
And again, make no mistake about it.
This is not the end.
This is not the bottom.
It's only going worse.
And again, you've got, this is the Economist YouGov poll and Morning Consult Political poll.
That means something.
That means something.
These are left-wing, but mainstream polls.
And let me connect this to Jake.
steve bannon
By the way, people should understand, Economist's most powerful magazine in the world, Politico just sold for a billion dollars, one billion dollars to the Germans this week, German publishing.
These are huge brands.
These are their polls, not the war rooms.
Boris Epstein.
boris epshteyn
Right, this isn't like people put a poll on warroom.com or put a poll on Twitter, right?
This isn't our audience.
This isn't just mine.
By the way, 1,500 for the YouGov Economist poll, that is a weighty poll.
Usually you have a sample of maybe 700, 800, 1,500 people sampled.
So this carries a lot of weight.
Let me connect this with something that's very important.
I literally, during the break, I've got some breaking news, as they say, too good to check.
From what I understand, from what I understand, we are, the folks in Pennsylvania, Jay Corman, Chris Dush, the Republicans in Pennsylvania, are going to meet the timeline we set to announce major hearings, to have the announcement By close of business tomorrow.
Hey, we've been honest.
It either happens by close of business tomorrow or we go back to talking about what the next jobs are for these Republican elected officials.
But if they do the right thing, if they announce the hearings out of which the subpoenas will come simultaneously, we're going to continue to appraise them.
And Jake Corman, praise where praise is due, has done the right thing in the last several weeks.
So now again, from what I understand, this is breaking within the last several minutes.
They are gonna meet the timeline set on this show.
Again, this is the power of the MAGA movement, the MAGA policy, the timeline to announce hearings, from what I understand, will be met, hearings Pennsylvania-wide, not just any one county, but for all of Pennsylvania to get to the bottom of what happened on 3 November, 2020, because it all ties together.
Biden's fecklessness proves that he's not legitimate.
steve bannon
Joe from Scranton.
These hearings, from what you know, would take place, I take it, sometime next week?
They'd be announced tomorrow by close of business and they would take place next week?
unidentified
Correct.
boris epshteyn
That is the timeline we set.
We said it can't be Friday.
Friday you're going to Shabbat.
I can't wait to be there in the War Room with you.
Friday you're going to Shabbat.
You got the High Holidays coming.
Friday too late to announce.
The announcement's got to come tomorrow by close of business of hearings that will happen next week.
We're all about action, action, action.
And again, just in the last several minutes, It's hot off the presses.
I've been told that that timeline will be met.
If it is not met, if it is not met, it is not going to be a pretty Friday for Republicans Jake Corman and Chris Dutch in Pennsylvania, always coloring within the lines.
But we will go back to calling them out while now we're making them stars.
We're saying they're doing the right thing.
We're always fair.
We give praise where praise is due, and we call them out when we have to.
As long as that deadline is met, from what I understand will be, then the hearings will be next week, subpoenas coming out of those hearings, and we rock and roll to a full forensic audit in Pennsylvania, just as Jay Corman has promised and said that he will use the full subpoena power of the Pennsylvania State Senate to conduct the full forensic audit.
So again, from what I understand, they will announce those hearings tomorrow, hearings held next week.
steve bannon
By the way, with Shapiro being the AG and running for governor and wanting to be president, it's going to be a good old-fashioned throwdown of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, like it is in Georgia, like it is in Arizona.
boris epshteyn
I'm ready.
steve bannon
I'm ready, baby.
All of these are going to grind, but right now we know we've got them on the run.
They're on the run with no political capital.
Okay, short commercial break.
Thank you, Boris.
Thank you for staying here for the entire hour.
I appreciate it, changing your schedule around.
boris epshteyn
Thanks so much.
God bless.
steve bannon
Stay strong.
Those polls came out.
I had to have Boris come here.
We've got other guys doing crosstabs.
We'll have more tomorrow morning.
This is important.
And you ain't gonna see him up on CNN and MSNBC tonight.
Short break.
Export Selection
