Okay, we're live in the War Room.
It's Thursday, 26 August 2021.
Breaking news from Kabul Airport.
If you haven't heard, it just happened a few minutes ago.
I'm bringing Sam Fantas, former CIA member, been in the region for many, many years.
Sam, get us up to date, can you, about what's actually, a lot of confusion of what's going on in this airport.
Can you just give us a sit-rep of exactly what's happening right now?
sam faddis
Okay, well, we can confirm that there has been an IED explosion, I believe car bomb, at the port in the vicinity of what's known as the Abbey Gate.
And it is confirmed that there are fatalities and there are wounded.
Don't have a count of numbers.
The last thing I heard literally about 30 seconds ago was that some of those fatalities are, in fact, Americans.
Trying to determine whether those are military personnel or not right now.
I cannot confirm that, but there has been an explosion.
People have been killed.
The other thing that I can tell you is that they have officially been told, the guys on the ground in Kabul involved in the evacuation, they've been told that the evacuation, which the U.S.
government refers to as a NEO, is over.
It is hoped that that still means that if you're inside the wire at the airport, they're going to put you on a plane, but that's not yet Confirmed.
Certainly nobody else is coming through the gate and we're done taking anybody out of Kabul.
steve bannon
By the way, I've just been told by some of my contacts here, they're actually welding the other gates that closed, but we'll get all those details.
Sam Faddis, hang with us.
I'm going to bring in now Eric Prince, who is, I think we can report, in the region.
He joins us by phone.
Eric, I don't know if you've heard the latest update, but there's been an explosion, looks like an IED, maybe even a car bomb, at the airport.
What are you hearing, sir?
unidentified
Both Baron and Abbott gates, and a complex attack, including automatic weapons fire.
Multiple casualties, lots of carnage.
It's terrible.
steve bannon
I understand you're getting ready to take another flight, so we're going to try to do this quickly.
When you say complex attack, you mean multiple locations, small arms fire, so this is a coordinated attack they've been working through?
unidentified
Abbey Gate is used by the British, Barron is used by the Americans.
steve bannon
So they hit both of us.
What else have you heard, Eric?
You can just roll with it.
I understand it's tough to hear us, where you are.
What else are you hearing about this attack?
unidentified
They closed the gates.
Excuse me, I've got to sign off for just one second.
steve bannon
Okay, we've got Eric Prince live on the phone.
Let's go back to Sam Faddis.
Let me know, my producer knows, great job.
Let me know when you've got Eric again.
Eric is in route.
In the region and in route to other locations.
Sam, we're hearing now it might be both gates.
Eric just said that.
I'm hearing that from other people.
If they were able to pull off IEDs, and by the way in the cold open, We've got the happy talk of the media and actually the White House.
Oh, we're working with the Taliban.
The Taliban's letting us go through.
The Taliban's working with us.
All this kind of pablum.
They have not addressed the American people like adults.
The only time they've done anything like, or tried to, is when people like Andrea Mitchell.
Who's seeing her globalist project kind of turn to ashes right now, have pressed them.
If this is Abbey Gate and Baring Gate, which the British use one and the Americans use the other, it's both multiple IEDs and small arms fire.
How complicated is that to pull off?
And how much organization do they have to have if this is ISIS-K or if it's Al Qaeda or one of these other groups who may be a little more militant with the Taliban?
sam faddis
Well look, the Taliban's in control of Afghanistan, they're in control of Kabul, and the Haqqani's specifically have locked down Kabul.
So the idea that ISIS or anybody else is running around on the streets of Kabul against the wishes of the Taliban and undetected by the Taliban is nonsensical.
So whoever is pressing the switch and detonating the device is doing it either at the direction of the Taliban or at least with their complicity.
There's no such thing as an ISIS cell running around in Kabul evading the Haqqanis when they have checkpoints about every 50 meters on every street.
So this is the Taliban sending a signal that it is time for you to go.
And if the Biden administration wants to buy into that and be complicit in that lie to the American people, that's fine.
But I'm not going along with that.
That's absurd.
steve bannon
Walk through your, give your curriculum vitae, your bona fides for this region, and tell people about the Haqqani Network.
For people that are casual viewers, it's a phrase they maybe have not heard for 10 or so years, a decade.
Walk us through your expertise in the region, and also walk us through what the Haqqani Network means.
sam faddis
Right, well look, I've been involved with human intelligence operations for over 30 years now.
Going back to the late 80s, all over the Middle East, all over South Asia, and working against all of these groups.
The Haqqanis, you know, look, the Taliban is largely a confederacy, right?
It's not some monolithic thing.
And the Haqqanis are sort of part of that confederacy.
They are a grouping of tribes.
And they have been up to their eyeballs in connections to Al Qaeda.
for a very, very long time. Literally, they were running Mujahideen training camps back when bin Laden was first going to Afghanistan when the Soviets were still there.
They're the guys that got bin Laden to safety at Tora Bora.
In large measure, drawing a distinction between the Haqqanis and Al-Qaeda is a waste of time. I mean, these guys are joined at the hip, they work together, they have the same objectives. They are absolutely ruthless. So again, when you put these guys with all these fighters in control of Kabul and then they want to start telling us, which apparently they are, that, oh my God, we got ISIS cells loose in Kabul and we can't find them.
You're in grave danger.
That's laughable, honestly.
I'm surprised they can say that with a straight face.
And the fact that the Biden administration picks it up just shows how morally bankrupt they are.
They're looking for an excuse to justify to the American people Why they're shutting this thing down and cutting our people away.
So they'll grab ahold of this lie, but that's all it is.
One way or the other, the Taliban just blew up IEDs at the Kabul airport to say, get out.
steve bannon
Now, they're saying get out, and even the State Department, because they put this warning out last night, stay away from the gates and stay away from the airport.
There's still, even according to the State Department, 1,500 Americans somewhere in Kabul.
Right.
We're hearing many thousands, maybe, throughout the country.
And we're also hearing that there's, you know, Michael Yan and others reporting there's anywhere from 7 to 10,000 still in Kabul.
Do you have any updates on that, from all your sources, of how many Americans are even close?
In other words, are we closer to the 1,500 number, or are we closer to the 10,000 number?
sam faddis
Yeah, well, on balance, I would go with Michael Yan's data over what you're getting from the State Department.
The bottom line is, nobody knows.
If the State Department came up with a 1,500, Number, that's a fiction.
They started by telling us they don't know how many Americans are there.
They barely know how many Americans they've taken out of country.
So we are getting ready.
We are, in fact, in the process right now, apparently, because we're shutting VVAC down, of simply abandoning thousands and thousands of Americans in a country that is now under the control of a terrorist group.
That's the reality of what's happening.
When I hear myself say that, I'm almost like, good God, that can't possibly be true, right?
But that's how insane this situation is.
That's where we are.
This president is cutting them away.
Nothing's going to change.
He's not extending anything.
And he's making no effort to get them out.
steve bannon
Do you consider, whether it's 1,500 or 10,000, do you consider the people left behind, first the American citizens, second, any Afghans that work with us, and third, any NGOs or people from other countries, do you consider those people hostages right now to the Taliban?
sam faddis
They are at a minimum hostages.
We will hope that they just don't end up being massacred, but they are 100% Listen, there is no kinder, gentler Taliban.
There is no new, soft, fuzzy face of the Taliban.
We know who these folks are.
We have abandoned our people to, I don't know, the 12th century under the control of an Islamic emirate.
It's insanity.
And that's exactly what an American alleged president is doing right now.
steve bannon
I want to go back and just update the audience who may be just coming in to this, an explosion.
Sam, you want to take it, IED attacks, looks like maybe, definitely one gate, maybe two gates, small arms fire, casualties, both in the explosion, maybe from small arms fire.
You want to take it and just walk our audience through it, Sam?
sam faddis
Right, so what we've had, to my knowledge, we've had at least one car bomb attack, but airprints indicates that there have been two, and I suspect that's correct, along with small arms fire.
We definitely have fatalities.
This is all occurring at entrances to Kabul Airport.
Right at the gates where people are pressing through trying to get through the wall.
So these explosions have occurred right there.
We've got multiple fatalities.
We've got wounded.
We don't have a count on that.
I am hearing that at least some of those fatalities are Americans.
And the last I checked, I was undetermined whether that included U.S.
military.
Definitely includes American citizens killed.
steve bannon
Do we have still, Eric, I don't know if Eric Prince is still, we still have the open line to Eric Prince?
Eric Prince, if you can hear us, I know we got Eric.
Eric, can you hear us?
I know we got an open line to you.
unidentified
I got you loud and clear, Steve, I'll make it.
steve bannon
Any update from you from what you're hearing, Steve?
unidentified
Baron and Abby Gates, complex attacks, which includes explosives, IEDs, And small arms fire.
So it is a terrible day.
It was already pretty much the wrap-up day.
U.S.
mail was closing gates today.
And it looks like ISIS struck.
There's been lots of warnings about this the last few days by the State Department.
I'm sure from some kind of signals intercept they were getting.
But the really bad guys struck and certainly killed a lot of innocent people.
Unknown whether any U.S.
soldiers.
I've been killed or injured by this, but this is the coldest political decision, I think, made in the history of the Republic.
To just say, oh, we're done, and we're cutting away, and their excuse is that if the Americans are not there by a certain time, then they didn't want to leave, and so it's on your own.
I've never heard of anything like this in American history, and it is I think Jen Psaki called me soulless yesterday for trying to help.
Well, if abandoning thousands of American citizens in a terror superstate isn't soulless, I don't know what is.
I'm not trying to make any money doing this, but unlike the government, I need real money to do this, because you can imagine how expensive it is convincing a jet owner of a $50 million jet to fly it into a place where there's no insurance.
The federal government just spends money and creates it out of fiat, and it just speaks to the absolute clueless cosplay class of leadership, of non-leadership we have in Washington, D.C., and this is the pinnacle moment of their wrongdoing, of their stupidity, their malfeasance, and I would even say evil.
steve bannon
Eric, we've only got a couple minutes.
I know you've got to take off, but I've got to ask you again.
When you say it's the coldest decision you've ever seen in the history of this republic, just go back over it again.
The decision was just to cut and run and to leave American citizens to the tender mercies of the Taliban.
Can you give it to us again?
unidentified
Well, yeah.
The tender mercies of the Taliban, of Al-Qaeda, of ISIS, unknown who cranked off these car bombs just in the last a couple hours but uh... whether it's americans being beaten and stripped of their documents assaulted and even murdered uh... to now literally being killed by action terror and their in the last few meters what they're trying to get to freedom this is unprecedented uh... at least the u s and they're leaving vietnam
made a very good efforts rescue people and didn't cut away until they couldn't do it anymore In this case, I just said, OK, we're out.
We're listening to the Taliban and we're the United States of America and we're negotiating with terrorists.
We're depending on terrorists to let us out.
And I worry that this can get much, much worse.
So I am every day I wake up a little more stunned as to what the Biden administration is doing.
And the next morning, it's even worse.
I mean, this idea that all Americans are out that want to be out.
One of my colleagues woke up to 420 voicemails this morning for people calling and begging for help, for extracts.
steve bannon
Eric, we're going to ask you to try to keep the line open.
We've got to go to a short commercial break.
unidentified
We'll return.
steve bannon
We've got Eric Prince from the region.
We've got Sam Faddis from the CIA.
We're going to have General Bolduc, who's head of Special Forces over there.
We've got Jason Jones.
We're going to have John Mills from the Combined Staff.
All of us do live coverage of the attack in Kabul Airport.
We'll be back in a moment in The War Room.
unidentified
It's all started, everything's begun, and you are over.
Cause we're taking down the CCP.
Spread the word all through Hong Kong.
We will fight till they're all gone.
Are there any additional steps?
Can you comment specifically, though, on Erik Prince?
I mean, he has already made so much money from the Afghan conflict, and now, in these sort of final waning days, is, once again, essentially exploiting people in order to make profit.
I mean, what is the position of the administration that this is taking place as you are offering flights free of charge?
jen psaki
I don't think any human being who has a hardened soul would support efforts to profit off of people's agony and pain as they're trying to depart a country and fearing for their lives.
unidentified
Go ahead.
steve bannon
Okay, we're live in the War Room, Thursday, 26 August, Year of Our Lord 2021.
We're doing this kind of live, making an effort to go along.
It's been an attack at Kabul Airport, been warned about since last night.
I want to bring in Eric Prince.
Eric, talk about agony.
But talk about the agony.
Jen Psaki's taking time there in the White House in a briefing to take time away from her lies and misrepresentations and spin to do a personal beatdown of you.
I know that you go in the region and you're a classy guy, but I gotta ask you, what's your first response on this?
unidentified
Look, I almost wear it as a badge of honor if she attacks me.
I think those are tougher words for me than she's ever even had for the Taliban.
I'm certainly not in this to make money.
Uh, but like I said before, I can't, uh, just will an airplane, uh, I can't will an owner of an airplane, uh, to fly their uninsured jet into a war zone to evacuate people.
I have to charge something.
And unlike the federal government, which just prints money ad nauseam and creates it and then wastes it.
That's not how we can roll as private citizens.
but I want to say something she's firing torpedoes at boats that are trying to help of a Dunkirk type evacuation uh...
steve bannon
I want to say something also, because my phone has been blown up by hundreds of people that want to reach you, because the U.S.
government, let's be brutally frank, as brave as our soldiers are, it's not about our military, it's not about our soldiers, this is the incompetence of the State Department and this administration, this regime.
You wouldn't need the Eric Princes of the world.
You wouldn't need a thousand people trying to call him, a thousand different entities, not people, to come in, to come in these dangerous areas, to airlift you out if you were doing your job and you'd done, if you hadn't been totally incompetent.
Right?
And put people in harm's way.
Eric Prince and others wouldn't have to go in harm's way.
And no, he's not making money.
And we're going to calculate what the cost is of what this regime has done.
Eric, in closing, because I know you've got to go, a coordinated attack like this, how did Intel, how did the military over there, how did the State Department, how did all the resources we had, and they're supposed to have such a great relationship with the Taliban, how did they not understand something this complex as this attack was coming, sir?
unidentified
Well, they probably detected it on signals intelligence, but clearly the United States has no influence over any events in Afghanistan outside of the gate of Afghanistan anymore.
So after trillions of dollars, thousands of dead, tens of thousands of wounded, we are reduced to a perimeter of a chain-link fence surrounding Kabul International Airport.
And the U.S.
government's influence in the area has been reduced so that the most they could do is say, hey, there's a terror attack coming.
Get out of the way.
They had no ability to affect that reality.
And that's what the Biden administration's leadership has done to us.
And this is the first of many insufferable, terrible damages that we're going to face as American people.
And sadly, our soldiers are going to pay a very high price going forward yet again, because people are still going to have to go and solve these problems, because this is like a A major tumor.
This is the stage 4 tumor that's going to throw off all kinds of metastasis now.
steve bannon
Eric, there's reports we're going to get to Sam Faddis and Jason Jones here in a second.
It may actually be American casualties.
It may be even American servicemen.
A little unconfirmed right now.
We're trying to get this.
What is this portent for the future?
You and I have talked about this now since the day they left Bagram Air Base.
Every day you say it gets worse and the incompetence is worse than you thought.
How do you see this playing out over the next 24-48 hours as you can assess it?
unidentified
I am very worried about attacks on any of the outgoing aircraft.
Again, the individual in the U.S.
government decided to give up Bagram, our largest airbase in the region, which is actually defendable, to say we're going to do our final staging at Kabul.
a uh... an airport in the middle of the city of four and a half million surrounded on hills by three sides just ten guys with a couple of motor tubes can shut the whole place down and destroy billions of dollars of u.s. aircraft and kill thousands of people on those aircraft and that's what i'm afraid we're in store for over the next few days, few hours We're gonna get to Sam Faddis, Jason Jones, and John Mills in a second.
steve bannon
We're hearing reports they've welded the gates shut.
The troops are not going to go back outside.
For the, let's say, the minimum, the low number, of the 1,500 Americans minimum that are out in Kabul right now, not just the rest of Afghanistan, what do you think happens to them if we're not going to make any incursions?
Are they just hostages?
Are they now captives?
They've gone from hostages to captives of the Taliban and the Haqqani Network?
unidentified
I take that one more, Stephen, and I gotta go.
Some individual at the State Department left the entire database on a computer at the embassy with all the bio data, phone numbers, addresses of everyone that worked for the U.S.
Every translator, every commando, everybody.
So those people that are left, all the remaining American citizens, all the S-1B visa people, all of them are immediately identifiable, including their biometric data.
Um, left abandoned by the State Department.
There's all kinds of destroy and burn protocols if you're gonna leave sensitive equipment, and clearly someone did not get the memo.
steve bannon
Eric Prince, we know you gotta go.
Godspeed, and we will communicate with you when you land.
Thank you, sir.
unidentified
You betcha.
Thanks.
steve bannon
I'm gonna bring in now Sam Faddis.
We've got Jason Jones.
We've got Colonel John Mills.
Uh, I'm gonna start with you, Sam, before I go to the other guys.
Um, Eric Prince, pretty blunt.
He says the coldest, most inhumane act he's ever seen from any American government in the history of this Republic.
Sam, you've been in a couple of three pretty tough neighborhoods in your service to the American people throughout your career.
What's your assessment of Eric Prince's comment?
sam faddis
He is 100% correct.
I think part of the problem we are all having, even those of us who despise Joe Biden, Is catching up with the magnitude of what is happening because we cannot conceive of a reality in which an American president simply abandons our own, takes orders from terrorists and flees from the field of battle.
And yet that's precisely what is happening exactly now.
And I got to tell you that by the way, this is, this is reverberated onto the airport.
Over the last several days, because what I hear continuously is how the rank and file of the American military there are constantly working to get people out of country, even though their own command structure is trying to shut everything down.
And I suspect that's part of the reason why you see these gates being welded shut, is because part of it is to stop our own people who continue to open these gates Elections have consequences.
Stolen elections have catastrophic consequences.
from doing that so now we're going to physically prevent it from happening.
steve bannon
Elections have consequences. Stolen elections have catastrophic consequences.
This is on the lap of the tech oligarchs. This is on the lap of the media, MSNBC and CNN, that did not allow the American people to do full confirmatory due diligence.
This is all...
You're all guilty, okay?
It's not simply Biden.
We know he's hapless.
We know he's feckless.
We know he was not in shape to be Commander-in-Chief.
You may hate the sound of Donald Trump's name.
You may hate or spit on the floor at the sound of his voice.
But that was a source of strength that something like this would have never... inconceivable that this would have happened.
Inconceivable.
And one of the reasons it's happened is because they're supposed to be your betters.
Blinken and Jake Sullivan and Milley and Austin and the whole apparatus.
They're supposed to be so much better and more organized and more competent than Trump and that crowd around Trump.
Right?
You hear it every day on Morning Joe.
You hear it all.
David Ignatius and And Admiral Stavridis and all these guys come on day after day.
They start in the morning at Morning Joe and they end with Brian Williams.
They got Rachel Maddow in the middle.
Day after day after day.
This is on all of you.
Why do you think Rachel Maddow is queen?
Don't think we're gonna let you off the hook.
This is on you.
This is on Jack Dorsey.
This is on Zuckerberg.
This is on the tech oligarchs that shut down a commander-in-chief.
Okay?
The American people never had the opportunity To do the full confirmatory due diligence they needed to do.
To weigh and measure.
Okay?
And this is what you get.
This is what you get.
And this is the responsibility.
This is the globalist project.
Okay?
You're seeing it in living color right now.
And you saw those Afghanis the other day tossing the kids over the barbed wire to the Marines.
Looks like the same Marines that took incoming here.
Right?
The same exact, the sons and daughters of the deplorables?
Well, hey, they've done their confirmatory due diligence, okay?
And they have found, they've weighed and measured Biden, and Sullivan, and Blinken, and Psaki, right?
And Admiral Kirby, and Austin, and Milley.
They weighed and measured them.
You know who they voted for?
They voted for the sons and daughters of the deplorables.
And what did Sam Faddis tell you?
That's one of the reasons they're probably welding the gate shut.
Because, The servicemen and women over there still want to get people out.
And here we are with all their lies and misrepresentations and all their working with the Taliban behind the scenes, right?
And cutting deals with the Taliban.
But today you start getting paid off in spades.
And what did Eric Prince say?
We've now created, on the eve of the 20th anniversary of 9-11, the most horrific attack in American history on American soil.
We have now allowed and created on the watch of Joe Biden, on the watch of Jen Psaki, on the watch of MSNBC and Rachel Maddow, okay?
And Jack Dorsey and Zuckerberg and the Google guys and all of it.
On your watch, we've created in front of our eyes a terrorist super state.
A terrorist super state.
And you have the gall to criticize a guy like Eric Prince?
Who doesn't need to be going over there because people are begging him because of your malfeasance and incompetence.
Okay, we're gonna take a short commercial break.
We'll be back with the entire team.
Colonel Mills, Sam Faddis, Jason Jones, Michael Yan and others re-report about the live events happening at Kabul Airport in the new terrorist super state that is Afghanistan.
We'll be back in a moment.
Okay, welcome back here in the War Room.
Live coverage for what is happening in Kabul Airport right now, the capital of Afghanistan, the new terrorist super state.
They just gave the American people and the U.S.
government and the American military a hello and a brutal attack it looks like.
Highly coordinated and looks like pretty well thought through.
I want to bring in Sam Faddis.
As you know, Sam, a huge story of Sam on Daily Mail today.
A big interview Sam gave.
So Sam, give us your assessment.
I know this is breaking.
You guys are checking with your sources in-country as we speak.
I want to thank everybody.
We've got Jason Jones.
He's checking with his sources.
Colonel Mills from the Joint Staff.
Give us an assessment.
Let's go back and hit the rewind, Sam, maybe for people who are joining us.
What do we know?
sam faddis
Two separate improvised explosive devices detonated outside the airport, both in the immediate vicinity of the airport, basically at entrances, gates to the airport.
Small arms fire as well.
Local news is reporting 11 dead.
No granularity on who exactly has been killed.
There are obviously a significant number of people wounded as well.
Multiple reports that there are three U.S.
servicemen wounded.
Beyond that, the NEO, what the U.S.
government calls the NEO, the EVAC, has been formally declared over.
Unclear right now.
steve bannon
Hold it, slow down, because a lot of people don't know the lingo.
You had said, and you, Michael, with Jan, a couple days ago, told us this thing was shutting down way before the 31st, right?
And I think you said the time you thought it was the 29th.
The latest update is they've now shut down, the EVAC is shut down, game over?
sam faddis
EVAC is shut down, game over, we are done.
Gates are being welded shut at the airport, and it is unclear Whether the people who are already inside will get onto aircraft and be taken out or not, although I think the presumption is, from what I'm hearing from the folks on the ground, that that will happen, but so many things have happened in the last few days that are incomprehensible.
I'm not sure I would bank on that, but in any event, we have officially declared the evacuation is over from this point on.
We're drawing down our military and leaving.
We're done.
If you're an American, sit and you're outside the wire, and you didn't make it in too bad, we just cut you away.
steve bannon
I want to go to Eric Prince.
We just had Eric Prince on before he had to take off.
He's in the region right now.
I want to go back to what Eric Prince said, and we've talked about with you and others over the last week or so, is that given that we gave up Bagram, we're in Kabul, not just the mortars and the howitzers, But they have they have handheld missiles, they have potentially surface to air missiles handheld.
How dangerous do you believe it is right now for aircraft, particularly the slower moving, you know, military transport aircraft taking off out of that airport right now?
sam faddis
It is incredibly dangerous, as we've talked about before.
The military said when Biden told them to do it this way, this is a militarily indefensible position.
And as we've discussed, there was never any guarantee we could even get our soldiers out.
It is a tiny little airport, one runway, surrounded, as Eric said, by high ground on three sides.
It is within artillery and mortar range of Taliban forces.
And as you've noted, they've got all kinds of missiles, especially the ones that we gave them via the Afghan army.
So they can, once we declare the evac and we're leaving, There is zero guarantee that we will be allowed to leave unimpeded anytime they want.
They can just start knocking planes out of the air or just simply close off that runway and trap our guys.
steve bannon
Sam, hang on for a second.
Sam's co-hosting it with us now.
We're putting this together on the fly.
I want to go to Jason Jones.
Jason, I know you've got deep contacts.
In the region and particularly Afghanistan, particularly among the Christian community and the people that are the missionaries and serve the Christian community.
Tell us what you're hearing.
unidentified
We don't have Jason Jones?
steve bannon
Okay, let's go to John.
Okay, there you are, Jason.
Yeah, sure.
unidentified
Go ahead, sir.
jason jones
Well, we heard Turkey's moving out.
I shared with you information that's not confirmed.
I don't know if you want to share that, although my sources said that it's a fact.
What I sent you is a fact.
As I said on your show yesterday, it was going to be a very dark 72 hours, and it's going to be darker and darker every day.
That photo I sent you was from one of our families, an American permanent resident, Afghan, who served with us.
He was hiding there with his wife and infant.
We were trying to direct someone there to try to get him into the airport.
We couldn't.
I just was confirmed about 10 minutes ago that we asked him to leave.
He didn't want to leave the gate.
He was clinging to that gate.
We begged him to leave last night.
He left, praise God, and he's okay.
And I just want to thank Eric Prince.
I run a human rights organization that advances the interests of the vulnerable, and we were working with some folks on the ground that That I felt we're trying to profit.
And to see someone like Eric Prince building an efficient system, it's as if we've had to reinvent our government overnight.
Where is our government?
Why are these Christian organizations?
You know, we've had people die.
One of our groups last night, a pastor's son was shot.
They took him to the hospital in despair.
You know, where is our government?
It's people like Eric Prince and Christian organizations that have to behave like The Department of Defense and the State Department.
This is absolutely unbelievable and unforgivable.
Where is our government?
What is going on?
This story's going to break with what I sent you!
steve bannon
Just a heads up, what we're confirming is still unconfirmed from government sources, but what we're hearing from some of the largest contractors, still have people in the region, is that some of the wounded American servicemen may in fact actually be KIAs.
Not been confirmed, but they're saying some of the wounded may actually be KIAs, that this is a quite horrific attack and this is coming from Senior level contractors who, as you know, have a lot of pipe hitters over there.
So this is something that's to be confirmed by official government, as I'm sure they're scrambling right now.
Jason, hang on for one second.
I want to bring in John Mills because I want to get to your point.
John, you were on the Joint Staff.
The question is, because the mainstream media has been making this like an airbridge Dunkirk, and obviously people have been incredibly brave, and the American servicemen have just been, their bravery, tenacity, and grit has just been extraordinary, right?
And this will live in the annals of military, of what the troops did.
And what these pilots did.
But talk to me for a second, while Sam catches up on some more information from the region.
Talk to us for a second about the joint planning here, and this thing looks like such chaos.
And you've got guys like Jason Jones and others, because all night long we're dealing with people saying, hey we got people here, we got people here.
Do you know guys?
Can we get Airlift out and you've got you've got contractors.
You've got former military going in there.
I mean right now people should understand Afghanistan's the size of Texas.
You've got Americans coming in and out trying to get folks out 24-7 on this thing.
Colonel John Mills.
unidentified
Yeah, thank you Steve.
The center of gravity is the J4 Joint Logistics Center Operations Center at the Pentagon and then of course Central Command.
But this is just, it's utter chaos.
I mean, everybody must be at their Bishop Garrison critical race training.
There's some great people, some great processes, but they've been corrupted.
Supposedly that would have been, if it's 100,000, that would have been 200 sorties, maybe, maybe not.
This is dumb, Kirk.
The President has put us in Dien Bien Phu, and intentionally, and the State Department is saying, don't even come to the airport, exercise your contingency plan.
If I was there, my contingency plan would have been to go to the airport.
This is ridiculous.
Getting these aircraft in and out, I've done this on a number of occasions.
You have to do combat approaches.
I'm not going to go into detail what that means, but this puts high stress on the wing spars.
One time into Baghdad on a British C-130, same aircraft.
Not too long later, the wings snapped off.
These are high-risk, high-risk approaches.
MANPADS, the man-portable missiles are everywhere.
Eric talked about insurance rates.
Yeah, they're astronomical.
I've done this on a number of occasions here.
They're astronomical, and he's flying without insurance, meaning you break it, you buy it.
And this is dangerous.
This is dangerous.
We're at World War III.
Xi has occupied the Sudetenstan.
We've chosen to be hapless and powerless.
We have our Neville Chamberlain and Biden.
We have our Churchill and Trump.
We just need our grant.
We need to find our grant.
We need fighting generals and admirals.
But this is just not our best.
This is not our finest hour.
It's crazy.
My first DC-8 into Baked it, had one of the engines blown off by a man-pad.
It landed, nobody was hurt, but I had to fill out a lot of darn paperwork to explain that.
steve bannon
Hang on, that's what I want to ask you here, before I go back to Sam Faddis and Jason.
Now that it is obviously Fort Apache, right?
They've welded the gates, so no American servicemen can go out and get anybody else.
They've welded the gates shut.
By the way, the reports are there's been multiple hits at multiple gates.
And there's been small arms fire.
Their official word is that there's 11 dead servicemen injured.
We're hearing unconfirmed, but confirmed by some of the contractors, there are actually some servicemen that are part of those KIAs.
That's yet to be confirmed by any of the mainstream media or any of the official organs of the government.
But, the flames have got to come in and out now.
in Kabul Airport.
How dangerous is that?
I mean, do they basically have us surrounded, right?
Even on the air bridge?
If you were in the planning department right now, if you were planning, how dangerous would you rate this?
unidentified
Oh, this is very high risk.
The aircraft, just the airframes, the stress put on these These aircraft are not designed to fly that many hours in what are called combat conditions or combat approaches or combat departures.
And you're doing that to minimize your exposure to MANPADS.
I've done it a number of times.
And this is a, the wings do snap off.
And we're talking about, you want to minimize your threat from a good MANPADS shot.
And again, one time, my first DC-8 I brought into Baghdad International had one of the engines blown off.
Thank God everything worked out.
Crew was okay.
But that was that was very hairy, flying some special equipment into into Baghdad International.
And so this is this is high risk.
This is not normal.
These people are putting their lives at stake.
This is there's nothing good about this.
We've chosen to put ourselves in the very, we've created a vacuum and chosen to put ourselves in absolutely the most awkward situation.
This is the greatest abandonment of Americans 10,000 plus since the fall of the Bataan Peninsula in early 1942 in the Philippines.
This is just insanity.
Every possible steaming pile of turds, we have chosen to step on it for some reason.
I don't understand why.
The Joint Staff is the world's premier military planning staff.
And it looks like an absolute circus.
I'd love to see who gets nominated for Action Officer of the Week and Action Officer of the Quarter that goes to Millie, because this is just not our finest hour.
Most of this is because of our choices.
Again, we're in World War III right now, and she has just stepped forward and occupied Afghanistan with essentially no risk, no casualties.
This is the Sudetenland that Hitler occupied.
Xi is occupied.
I call it Sudetenstan.
We have given this to him.
We have just said, here it is.
It's all yours.
This is insanity.
This is a green light to totalitarian.
What's next?
Forced landing, forced landing toward the right.
What does that mean?
Well, that means only it's the nation state, the country, and I will call it a country of Taiwan.
This is just insanity.
They want to think they're running a Berlin airlift.
All the Forever Wars journals are just all a dither about what a wonderful Berlin airlift this is, and putting out the daily stats.
This is not the Berlin airlift.
This is dumb, Kirk.
The president chose this, put us in this position.
This is catastrophic.
Catastrophic world history.
steve bannon
Colonel Mills, just hang on for a second.
We'll be back.
We've got more coverage.
We're going to have Brian Kennedy.
Others join us.
Michael Yan, live coverage covering the incident.
Terrorist attack at the airport.
Elections have consequences.
Stolen elections.
Catastrophic consequences.
You've seen it right now.
Stay with us in the War Room.
Okay, welcome back to the War Room.
Live coverage of a terrorist strike At Kabul Airport.
By the way, the video we're getting, and if you're in the chat rooms, etc., you can go online and see a lot of this.
In fact, we should be putting these live.
Producer, let's get these live right now.
Get our other guy, put them in live in there, non-stop.
We can't show these on television right now, and the reason is they're too bloody and too gory and too raw.
So we're going to try to find out what we can find.
But horrific attacks.
Sam, you've done some additional checkings.
I think we can go ahead.
It hasn't been officially confirmed by the U.S.
government, but we've now heard from a number of contractors.
And when I say contractors, this is the way that a lot of the paramilitary is done now, off the balance sheet of the U.S.
government, through contractors.
Remember, we've had 4,000 contractors dead, along with 2,200 men and women of the armed forces in Afghanistan in 20 years.
Sam, what are you hearing from your sources about the KIAs?
sam faddis
So the latest word from multiple sources is that we have four United States Marines that have been killed.
They were apparently killed all together in one of the blasts at one of the gates that the Marines were in control of.
Total number of dead being reported is 11.
Undetermined number of individuals who are wounded, and obviously we don't know how many of those people will You know, ultimately succumb to their injuries and die as well.
So two separate improvised explosive device attacks, both at gates to the airport, and now four US servicemen dead, it appears.
steve bannon
Sam, this has the look of a Haqqani Network or ISIS or something a little more sophisticated than the Taliban.
Remember, we went to Afghanistan.
The Taliban was the operational unit.
What we were looking to take down was Al-Qaeda, who they had kind of allowed to take place, who were roots in the country, the Taliban.
He ran the government at the time, and that is why we call this a potential, or not a potential, I guess it's real now, terrorist super state, because you've got, what, ISIS-K, you've got the Haqqani Network, you've got Al Qaeda.
Does this look like, what type of attack, this is something more sophisticated than the warring factions of the different tribal units of the Taliban?
Is that your assessment?
sam faddis
Well, it's a very specific, very carefully planned, very carefully executed attack for a specific objective.
Yes, so that means we're dealing with guys that are pros.
The Haqqanis certainly have a history of doing this thing.
They have this kind of thing.
They have staged any number of attacks with this level of sophistication.
Regardless of who pressed the button, as I said earlier, nobody is running around in Kabul carrying out terrorist attacks.
Without at a minimum, the acquiescence of the Haqqanis that are in charge of Kabul.
They are not trying and failing to track down some cell of Arabs running around in an Afghan city, but they just can't find them.
That's that's nonsensical.
Again, whatever just happened, either they ordered it or they allowed it to happen.
And I'll just go with they ordered it.
Very specific message.
Get out.
steve bannon
This is what I want to say about, you know, you had the Biden administration yesterday.
We're working with the Taliban.
The Taliban gives us an interview to the New York Times.
It says, hey, we're a new Taliban.
You know, the women are not going to be able to go on the streets, but we're a softer, gentler, nicer Taliban.
And we want to make sure we're admitted by the world's community and the world's capital markets.
And we want to go to the World Bank and do all this.
Why this is and we know we understand they're very big on not just optics, But symbols, right?
They understand that plays throughout the rest of the world, right?
Although our elites may not like that.
Why would they do it when even Sam Faddis said, hey, look, the 29th is the last day out, not the 31st or the 20th, 29th.
Why would they do it and do it in such a bloody fashion and clearly targeted on American troops in the American, one of the American gates or the major gate that the Americans were at?
Why would they do that when we're just about pulled out?
sam faddis
Well, they know we are completely gutless.
We have demonstrated that we won't strike back.
So there are zero consequences for this.
And of course, there is no kinder, gentler Taliban.
And this is the end of nothing.
As you keep saying, we've created a terrorist super state.
People were worried about the ISIS caliphate and a little chunk of Syria and a portion of Iraq.
Good God, we now have all of that on monster steroids.
And these guys don't plan on sitting quietly in Afghanistan and just I want to bring in Jason Jones.
Jason, any updates that you're hearing from your people on the ground?
Okay, can I have John Mills?
So onward and upward, the war is just getting rolling from their perspective.
steve bannon
I want to bring in Jason Jones. Jason, any updates that you're hearing from people on the ground?
Okay, can I have John Mills? John, anything you're hearing?
unidentified
Yeah, I have the... I want to take this seriously as an As upset as we may be here, there is an actual form you have to fill out for evacuation on the Department of State website.
So I want everybody to take that seriously.
People are putting their lives at risk.
As sloppy and bad as this operation is, don't put your fingers into this.
But essentially, the advisory is don't go to the airport.
steve bannon
Hang on, that's the official, right now, I'm looking for my producers as we do this on the fly, there's no official statement out from the government as of right now?
No official statement?
The last thing we've got is from the State Department, right?
unidentified
Yeah, I'm reading right off the website, right off the Department of State website.
steve bannon
Okay, I want to go, by the way, let's, I tell you what, we're going to go to the next hour of coverage.
I want to, if you guys can hang on, we're going to go to Turkey when we get back.
We got Beatrice von Storch from the Alternative for Deutschland.
She's actually in Turkey dealing with the problem of, guess what, Afghan refugees that are designated to get, I think, head to Europe and particularly to Germany.
She's there to try to help sort out that mess.
Jason Jones had just told us Turkey is now officially kind of out Of the whole Afghanistan mess, at least for the time being.
As we reset, there's been a couple of horrific, looks like coordinated terrorist strikes at Kabul Airport.
When we left you last night, the warnings were just going out by the State Department to warn people.
They shut down the airport shortly thereafter, but this looks like a highly coordinated, unconfirmed by the U.S.
government, but confirmed by multiple contractors and relationships of people we know on the ground that there have been Many casualties, I think, in the 15 to 20 casualties, but looks like four American servicemen, looks like Marines, killed in action.
We're going to get more details as we get back.
We're going to be joined by Brian Kennedy.
We're going to be adding people in the entire next hour.
We're going to ask Sam Fetis if he can hang on, a CIA operative who was in Pakistan and on the border of Afghanistan and the tribal areas for many, many years, knows the area very well.
Short commercial break.
When we return, we're going to go to Turkey.
Alternative for Deutschland's Beatrice van Storch.
We've got a lot else to cover in the second hour.
Don't go anywhere.
