Well, right now, Steve, if an alien enters the United States illegally and requests asylum, that alien is handed over to an immigration judge for a full hearing in immigration court. | |
| What the Biden administration wants to do is to allow asylum officers to grant asylum after just an interview. | ||
| It's important to note that in that hearing in immigration court, the people of the United States are represented by an attorney. | ||
| For that interview with an asylum officer, there would be no attorney, except for the one that the alien would have the right to bring with him or her. | ||
| So, it's also important to note that asylum puts an alien on a six-year path to citizenship. | ||
| The worst part of what the Biden administration is proposing, though, Steve, is to give it the power to simply release every alien that it can't detain. | ||
| And then the Biden administration is asking for less detention money from Congress for 2022. | ||
| So what it wants to do is... This is insane. | ||
| Render itself unable to detain anyone, and therefore just simply release them all, grant them all asylum. | ||
| But here's the scam. | ||

| Once they come across there's going to be a million or two million this year, have an asylum officer essentially grant them asylum, and then they're in the country, and they're on the path to citizenship. | ||

| As they see Nancy Pelosi expose herself for the millionth time, as they see the fact that President Trump is by far, by far the most popular politician in this country, the Democrats know that they're in for some dark, dark, dark political days, and that's a great thing for the United States of America. | ||
| And again, as you look at that map, the most important part is Texas, because that's the Rio Grande Valley. | ||
| That is the border, and that is where the Democrats are saying, we're done. | ||
