Well the virus has now killed more than a hundred people in China and new cases have been confirmed around the world.
You don't want to frighten the American public.
France and South Korea have also got evacuation plans.
But you need to prepare for and assume.
Broadly warning Americans to avoid all non-essential travel to China.
This is going to be a real serious problem.
France, Australia, Canada, the US, Singapore, Cambodia, Vietnam, the list goes on.
Health officials are investigating more than 100 possible cases in the US.
Germany, a man has contracted the virus.
The epidemic is a demon and we cannot let this demon hide.
Japan, where a bus driver contracted the virus.
Coronavirus has killed more than 100 people there and infected more than 4,500.
We have to prepare for the worst, always.
anthony fauci
Because if you don't, then the worst happens.

War Room.
Pandemic.
Here's your host, Stephen K. Bannon.
steve bannon
Okay, we're live.
You're in the War Room.
We're going to go to the Rio Grande Valley right now with Real America's Voice investigative reporter Ben Berquam.
It is Friday, the 30th of July, the end of the first month of the second half of the year.
This year is ripping through.
It's the Year of Our Lord 2021.
We're going to have Mike Lynn down in a second.
Ben, get us up to date on exactly what's happening down there.
Beyond tragic.
It's tragic for the people that are coming.
It's tragic for the hard-working Mexicans that play by the rules.
They come in and work every day and have to go home.
It's particularly tragic for the hard-working blue-collar Hispanics, who every one of them should vote for the Trump program.
You ought to throw these bums out.
Throw these Democratic congressmen, this is George R. Biden, they ought to be run out of town on a rail.
Overwhelming.
There ought to be 80-20 votes in 2022.
unidentified
80-20.
steve bannon
At Val Verde County, Hidalgo, all of it.
Zapata, all of it.
You throw these bums out there, it's going to stop.
I want everybody to look at what's happening.
Because it's on their shoulders.
It's bad enough for the rest of the nation, but it's crushing working-class Hispanics.
It's crushing working-class African-Americans.
This is not hypocrisy.
It's not a conspiracy.
That's the system.
Just look at it.
Ben Berkow.
ben bergquam
You're right, Steve.
I was here, actually, on the other side of the river yesterday with Auden Caballo.
He lives over there, and his wife is actually a Mexican citizen.
He's an American citizen, and he said the same thing.
We were talking to people on the ground, Mexican citizens who are stuck in Mexico, who have visas to come into the U.S., who are not allowed to do it right now because of COVID, and they're watching this in their own backyards.
The invasion continuing because the Democrats have invited this.
This is not an accident.
Kamala Harris is pretending to come up with a solution.
This is the Democrat solution for America if it's allowed to continue.
This is by design.
We've had a million already this year.
We're anticipating up to two million apprehended, not including everyone who gets through not apprehended.
And this is coming to a neighborhood near you.
I just spoke to Border Patrol.
They said their processing center is so full They can't even get these guys into the processing center.
That's why they're waiting here.
We've got two buses in line.
We've got a van in line.
They're going to take the van here in just a minute.
And all they have time to do with these guys now, because they're so overrun, is take them to the processing center, give them a piece of paper that says, find a Border Patrol agent in 60 days, or we're going to deport you then.
And then they go and let them off.
They drop them off at the gas station here in town, they get on a Greyhound bus, they get on an airplane, and they fly to a community near you.
Ben, every single network should be shouting this from the mountaintop.
steve bannon
And not just that, McCarthy ought to do a press conference down there tomorrow.
There shouldn't be any August recess.
They don't need to take any time off.
Are the American people taking any time off?
You're grinding every day.
We ain't taking a day off here at the War Room.
ben bergquam
How dare they?
steve bannon
Gotta get down there.
Step aside just a second, Ben.
I just want to get a clear shot because I just want to show the folks something.
Right there, you see the Delta variant?
You see what's going through the country?
You see what's ripping through the country?
That's the Delta variant right there.
And it's not those folks' fault.
They're rational people.
They've been invited up here.
Why wouldn't you grab the kids and come up and take a shot?
Right?
You would do it.
I would do it.
It's rational.
Right?
But the people that play by the rules, and they're playing by Biden's rules, which is come to America, infect this nation, and drive down wages.
It's disgusting.
But you want to see what this nation's devolved into?
It's right there.
And here's the thing, it's put on the, the burden, the big burden is put on the back of the minorities.
Hard-working Hispanic Americans, the rear of Grand Valley, throughout the rest of the country, inner-city African Americans, because that's what's driving down wages.
And Bernie, don't give me the crap about the $15 minimum wage.
That's pro-wrestling.
This is the problem with the wages.
You know it, I know it, every economist knows it, Wall Street knows it, that's why they like it.
Burquam, hang around.
We've got to go to Mike Lindell.
I'm going to come back to you.
Great reporting.
You just hang right there.
Don't leave.
Ben Burquam, Real America Voice investigative reporter, now back in the saddle, doing an amazing job.
Mike, I've got to talk about Fox and everything like that, but I've got to first off, because I know that you've got a recovery center.
It's Christ-based.
Every one of those people are a temple of the Holy Spirit, right?
So we're not demonizing them.
But give us a sense of where our country is right now when you see that, Mike Lindell.
mike lindell
I feel like we're in a race.
We're just in a race.
And that's why it's so important that we're having this Cyber Symposium on the 10th, 11th and 12th.
We need to get this election pulled down and get this country back.
I mean, this has been the decisions I've told everyone, the decisions that are being made in D.C.
are not, they're nonsensical.
And this is the biggest one when you talk about the border.
How horrific is that what they're doing down there?
Like you said, the new Delta variants and they're bringing the drugs are pouring back in.
Suicides are up.
I mean, it's just it is just terrible.
It's terrible for everyone.
steve bannon
I gotta ask you, Mike, did you think, and particularly when you started getting more into politics, you still got the business, you're on that all the time, but you know, you were a crack addict, you then started this business in the back of your car, you got the patents, you built it into one of the greatest entrepreneurial companies, somebody that could take a 40%, you know, when the big box stores kicked you out, but as you got more into politics,
Did you ever think we'd be in a situation, particularly after President Trump's run for his four years, that we'd be in a situation right now where it's not a crisis, it's not an emergency, it's obviously an invasion and the powers that be, the economic forces in this country of Wall Street and the corporations and the Chamber of Commerce and the political forces of the Democratic Party would work together to basically destroy the sovereignty of the greatest country in mankind's history, Mike Lindell?
mike lindell
Yeah, you know, Steve, I didn't know anything about politics.
I didn't think they affected me, really.
I mean, being a functioning addict in the 80s, 90s, and 2000s, early 2000s.
But, you know, from Donald Trump, from the time he got in office on, boy, did we all learn as a nation how good political decisions could Manifest into something great, which is like December of 2019.
Everything's were beautiful then.
Then they were kept.
It was on the way up this for helping all people, not just some people, one political side or the other, or there was a that we're getting rid of whatever they're trying to this narrative of this racist country.
Now we know the big lie is the big lie there.
The decisions that are being made everybody.
This is could I did I ever imagine it?
No, but I don't think anybody did.
But what it's doing, Steve, it's actually, I believe in the long run here, by educating all of our people, whether they're Democrat, Republican, liberal, or conservative, this makes no sense for anybody.
And these decisions are coming out of Washington, D.C.
And why don't we look at them and go, what are they?
These are communist decisions.
This doesn't even make sense.
And if it doesn't make sense to help the people, all people or any people for that matter, Um, why are they doing it?
And our country got flipped on its head in a little over a year now.
And I think it's a great awakening where everybody's waking up and you're seeing that even when we get through this and we get this election pulled down and get our country back, what's going to happen is I really believe that this has been an awakening and we're going to elect politicians that have the people's back.
Wasn't it supposed to be, Steve, for the people, not for their party or not for a personal agenda?
It needs to be for the people.
And I think that's what's going to happen.
steve bannon
I think it's providential because we've always had happy talk about liberty and happy talk about freedom and happy talk about, you know, we're losing it and they're going through the institutions.
But now you're seeing whether it's the communist Marxism.
Jammed into the schools and CRT or into the military and the invasion of the southern border, the finances, across the board.
They flipped over their face cards.
We see it.
We know exactly what you're up against.
That's a good thing about this.
This is kind of manichaean, isn't it?
It's one side or the other.
No middle ground here.
If Denver can play, I want to... So only Lindell.
Only Lindell could actually, in the War Room yesterday, start the biggest business story in the world.
With everything else going on, Lindell's thing about his spot.
Can we play the spot?
Because I want to show what this... I want the audience just to see this spot's so controversial.
If we can just go ahead and play it, and then I'll bring Mike Lindell back.
mike lindell
Hello, I'm Mike Lindell, and I'm coming to you with the most important commercial that I've ever done.
All of you know what my pillow and myself have gone through in the last five months in my efforts to bring the truth forward.
Well, it's all come down to this.
I'm having a cyber symposium on August 10th, 11th and 12th.
This historical event will be live streamed 72 hours straight on my new platform, FrankSpeech.com.
You can help by getting everybody you know to go to FrankSpeech.com now.
To help support this cyber symposium event, I am offering some of the best prices ever on my pillow products, but they're only offered at FrankSpeech.com.
Go to frankspeech.com now and use the promo code on your screen or call the 1-800 number below to receive these exclusive MyPillow offers.
Thank you and God bless.
steve bannon
And I just want to make sure you're putting in the promo code for this offer.
Okay, Lindell, here's what I don't get.
Here's what I don't get.
What is so controversial about that spot?
Why did that spot drive the biggest business story in the world for the action you took around it?
What's the issue with that spot?
mike lindell
You know, I don't see an issue, and shame on Fox.
I want to start off with shame on Fox News.
Steve, I put that out earlier in the week.
By the way, it went out to CNBC, it went out to CNN, it went out to MSNBC, Newsmax, OAN, went out to all of them.
Fox News was the only one that came back and said, we are not gonna run this ad.
And I'm going, are you, how shameful.
I said, what's wrong with it?
It's an ad, are you afraid of a competition, Fox News or franksbeach.com?
You know, it doesn't make sense, but in a way it does.
I, you know, as you know, as you know, I've had to thank, I've had to thank all the bad media, I call it, the bad media that, that, you know, all the, that attacked me every day, but at least they attacked me, Steve, and at least I'm able to talk about things.
Well, Fox News is completely part of the cancel culture.
They have silenced our voices and mine being the biggest one.
They've completely silenced it.
They won't even report a news or an event anymore.
So I said, you know what, if you're going to do that to our country, I'm pulling all my ads.
I can't be part of Fox News anymore.
They, um, I pulled him immediately and indefinitely.
And now guess what?
I got a list here, um, about two pages long of outlets to call back.
And everybody's calling me now once again, and I'll be able to talk about the symposium on the 10th, 11th and 12th.
And, you know, and Fox didn't have it.
They didn't have an answer.
It's disgusting what they've done to our country.
steve bannon
I just gotta ask you, I'm gonna make sure the audience understands this, and, you know, we don't have a dog in this fight.
This is you and the company and the symposium, but did you just say that CNN and MSNBC and CNBC, everybody else took it except for, I just want to make sure we're clear about this, everybody else you sent that spot to?
mike lindell
They have not, they're the only ones that denied it.
Now, whether we hear from CNN or MSNBC or one of them today, but the ads are starting to run on all the other outlets tomorrow.
Now, we haven't heard them, they haven't accepted it yet in their defense.
They only got the ad, I believe, the day before yesterday.
Fox had it all week long.
Fox is our biggest outlet.
I want everybody to say, I want everybody to know this too, because I got called again by the Wall Street Journal this morning, and they asked me a follow-up question, and they said, Mike, where are you gonna put your money now that you're not gonna put it to Fox?
And I said, no, you need to understand, there's nowhere else to put it because it's a direct response ad.
Which means that if, you know, we only do those ads, we have to make, we make, that's part of our income.
So once again, my pillow lost more of its income.
First, the box stores, then the shame on the box stores, your Costco's, your Bed Bath and Beyond, your Colt, then the shopping channels, your QVC's, your HSN's, your Shop HQ, all these shopping channels, all canceled.
Then you've got your Twitters and Facebook canceling us on ads.
And then you got this would happen with Fox, but for me, my principles, what I'm here, we're, we're here.
All they had to do is run the ad and watch it for themselves on the 10th, 11th and 12th.
It was, there was nothing wrong with that ad.
It was a directional ad and shame on you, Fox.
I think it's disgusting.
that they won't even report like the great things that are going on in Arizona, what they find in the audits, Steve, they weren't even there for our real president's rally in Ohio. You know, I mean, what are they, what are they hiding from Fox? You know, it reminds me about the Republicans, Brian Kemp and Doug Ducey and Brad Rasselberger. You know what to expect out of the Democrat party, but then to make decisions that are completely, it's a deviation.
unidentified
Mike?
Why is Fox doing this? Why is Fox doing this?
Just hang on a second. We'll be right back. War room pandemic with Stephen K.
Bannon.
The epidemic is a demon and we cannot let this demon hide.
War room pandemic. Here's your host, Stephen K.
Bannon.
Oh Okay, what are the odds?
steve bannon
What are the odds of a guy that was a crack addict and then built one of the greatest entrepreneurial companies, manufacturing companies in America?
Mike Lindell, the company's MyPillow.
Make sure you go to MyPillow.com.
Promo code WARROOM today.
Check it out.
We get discounts all over the place.
I'll get more specifically, but we're running out of time with Lindell.
Mike, you've got some breaking news for us that happened literally over the break.
Tell us what just happened.
mike lindell
Well, I just got I just got notice here.
It says CNN passed the first approval and now it's in final.
So there you go.
There's CNN.
They've never denied an ad from me ever.
Neither has MSNBC.
And the news is Fox.
Now, I do want to make this very clear, everybody.
I didn't put an ultimatum to Fox.
When I gave Fox this ad very early in the week, I believe it was Monday or Tuesday.
And I said, this is time sensitive.
This is time sensitive.
It's about The Cyber Symposium on August 10th, 11th, and 12th, and to watch it on FrankSpeech.com.
So Fox just, you know, they slow played it, Steve.
They knew, you know, you'd think one of their biggest advertisers would, that they would go bend over backwards and go, Hey, you know, let's get approved.
Let's get this going.
Right.
And instead they slow play it.
One day led to the next day, the next day, the next day.
And finally yesterday, they waited until the end of the day too.
So that, or so that it was past the cutoff.
So I had to run their ads today.
And maybe even, well, today, I guess the last day.
But they, uh, when, as soon as they told me, nope, we're not going to approve this ad, um, I just immediately said, okay, this is a, it's immediately.
And indefinitely I pulled all my pillow ads on Fox across the board.
And you realize there's no replacements for this, everybody.
This is an income stream lost at my pillow.
But where do we stop as a country?
Where do we go?
Where do we draw the line?
I've had to do it with Fox stores, social media, and I'm not taking it.
This is too important.
This cyber symposium is so important to the country and the world.
We need millions of people to watch it.
And, you know, if Fox, why would Fox not take this?
It's just a shame.
unidentified
Shame on you, Fox News.
steve bannon
I just want to make sure that you gave everybody Newsmax One America, everybody got the same ad, and you didn't call them in advance and say, if you don't take it, I'm pulling all the advertising I do for you.
So people just had to weigh and measure the ad and make a decision of whether they did it or not, correct?
mike lindell
Yeah, they do it for all the ads.
They do it for all ads.
And by the way, they're all starting tomorrow on all the other networks.
I'll give an example.
Last spring, CNN I have my book out.
I talk about my redemption story.
Remember when I spoke at the Rose Garden and I was attacked by everybody, including CNN, for speaking out about Jesus and reading the Bible at the Rose Garden.
But they kept their ads separate, you know, and they let me run an ad right in the middle of primetime on CNN.
I mean, and MSNBC, you know, people think that all I do is advertise on Fox.
I've advertised on all the stations and Fox is the only one!
That denies this, and they're the only one, if you look out there, that doesn't talk about the audits going on in Arizona and these other places.
They don't talk about machines or vaccines.
Shame on you, Fox!
Last summer, they didn't talk about all the stuff, maybe the therapeutics that were out there.
I don't know what happened to them.
I don't know what's happened to them, but I can't let them keep hurting our country, and I've had to make a move.
I'm not going to continue.
I know it's going to hurt my pillow with that income stream, but you know what?
I can't do business with someone that's going to hurt our country by tying to part of the cancel culture that keeps us suppressed and keeps our voices suppressed.
It's almost worse At least all the other outlets attack me and I can at least say, get my word out, like your Jimmy Kimmel, your hosts at night, all your media outlets from Daily Beast to Political to Huffington Post.
Atlantic now just came out and did a hit piece.
CNN, two and a half hours, they're gonna do a hit piece.
But at least, Steve, they come to me and they let me talk.
Fox, that's the worst thing when they just cancel you and they don't let you talk, you know?
steve bannon
They don't let you say anything.
I want to go to this point.
Ann Applebaum, who by the way is a great writer, right?
She HATES Trump.
She HATES Bannon.
She HATES War Room.
She HATES Lindell.
But if you read that piece, and if the Denver guys can put it up on a split screen while Mike answers me, but she at least showed you the respect Yes, absolutely.
taking you seriously yeah pieces a hit these the pieces a hit piece but it ends with a very moving we read it yesterday on on the show a very moving thing it says michael and l is the country he's he's over optimistic he's over confident he believes in american exceptionalism he doesn't leave other nations are exceptionally please our values are exceptional And she says, I was getting ready to cut him down and leave him with something to biting that he would know I thought he was a jerk, right?
But she thought about it, and then she goes, and the very last, the last, the article ends in a one-sentence paragraph.
He goes, he is our country.
Right.
And there's never been a better.
And by the way, I personally take shots.
She gets shots in on me up front and she gets shots in the war room.
Shots in the war room posse and even the apes.
You know, we had the apes of Wall Street on here, the people in the AMC stock.
But it shows you it's the biggest dichotomy of elite thinking and voice of Vox Populi, which Mike Lindell is, in the manner in which he rolls.
So I just want you to talk about that for a second.
When Ann Alba bombs, and you sit there with Ann Alba bombing, you don't hold anything back.
What you see is what you get, right?
unidentified
Right.
mike lindell
That's right.
And Steve, everyone has my direct number.
I mean, I've got a list here that I have to call when I get up here.
All the media outlets have my direct number.
I'm an open book.
Here you go.
You know, and when you can come and attack me, I do whatever it takes to get the word out.
But like talking with this Applebaum lady, she had her agenda.
She wanted to do a hit piece, but she put stuff in there where people are talking about it, and they're talking about the cyber symposium.
And you know what?
She has her doubts, and she has all these, you know.
I asked her, and I asked CNN too, and they interviewed me the other day.
I said, don't you care about the country?
I said, what if You know, you give it, I said, the one guy at CNN at this drew, I said, you give it a, you know, any chance, what if I'm right?
He goes, well, I know you're not.
I said, really?
I said, but what if I am given a one in a trillion, if I'm right.
You come to the symposium, I said, and get yourself $5 million.
But I said, if I'm wrong, but what if I'm right?
I said, don't you care about our country?
I mean, the risks are high.
All they have to do, Steve, is watch this symposium.
And it's so sad that they spend their time, as we get closer to the date now, attacking.
But you're very right about that Applebaum.
She did her journalism, and they have their agenda, but at least they talk.
Fox News is the perfect example of what Alan Dershowitz said about our case with Dominion.
He said, with my pillow, he said, this will be the most important case in history for our First Amendment rights to free speech.
You guys, this is what they did.
Start with lawfare.
Starting in January and February, Starting back then, where they cancelled all of us out, not just Mike Lindell.
They tried to cancel everybody out on YouTube, Vimeo, Google, the list goes on, Wikipedia, all the stations where Fox couldn't talk, you know.
Here at Newsmax, I give them respect.
They actually took the ad and they came back on board and they've been playing rallies and stuff.
They've been airing stuff again.
But, you know, when you've got journalists out there that can't do their job, And, and even the ones on the left, I gotta tell you this, even the journalists on the left, I talk to them every day and they go, yeah, I go, why don't you try and print this?
Why don't you put a piece of the evidence out in your article?
Steve, none of them, none of them will do that.
They won't put that, that little pieces out there.
I've given them all pieces of evidence.
Go put this out there.
It's kind of like an advertisement for the symposium on the 10th, 11th, and 12th.
None of them will do that.
You know why?
Because their bosses won't let them.
The Washington Post and New York Times, they did a whole big piece on me.
I spent a day with each reporter back then.
And you know what?
The articles, they both read my book.
The articles were too good.
They wouldn't even let him print it.
So I even told him, you better write something bad about me so that it clears.
This is what we're up against, everybody.
Has anybody ever thought it would come to this in the United States?
Where one of your biggest news outlets, Fox News, supposed to be conservative or whatever they were supposed to be, completely turns on the American people.
Completely turns on everybody.
Let's not report the news.
Let's just keep talking about the weather.
They should just be a weather channel, as far as I'm concerned.
Of course, they probably wouldn't want to do that and scare everybody.
They go, we're not going to talk about a thunderstorm, you know.
steve bannon
It would all be climate change.
Mike, we've got only a couple minutes here.
Real quickly, tell us about any news.
We've got two minutes.
Any news on the symposium?
You've got the ads up all over.
You're trying to draw people to watch it.
mike lindell
Great news, everybody.
We've got so many people signed up now.
I think we're up to almost 30 states represented.
We've got over I believe over 300 invitees already on the board.
If you're, if you are a politician that did that, because a lot of them are saying, well, I didn't get invited.
Look in your, look in your junk mail.
A lot of that we're finding out is going into there, but we are going to start calling.
We've got a whole team reaching out by phone and calling them.
I want to make sure everyone knows that you're every politician from state legislators and senators on up to the federal lever are invited.
And we, it's been great.
If you're a cyber, A cyber person, you can go to cyber at frankspeech.com if you've got high credentials.
Don't waste your time.
We want people there that have the best credentials.
I know CNN and their hit job, they wanted to let me know, well, you can get that CISSP online.
You know, come on, CNN.
We're going to have people there that are best in the world, like the ones I've had validated.
The people, the cyber guys that know cyber forensics, that they're not doctors for something else.
We go to PrankSpeech.com.
Go to PrankSpeech.com, everybody.
Get signed up, because we're going to stream it 72 hours live, all three days.
steve bannon
And Mike Lindell's threatening he's going to be up for all 72 hours.
It's going to be Jerry Lewis in the telethon.
He's going to be on PrankSpeech.
Mike, we got to bounce.
We're going to report this afternoon more updates on this breaking story with Fox News and MyPillow.com and the great entrepreneur.
Mike Lindell.
Mike, thank you so much.
Honored to have you on.
Okay, short commercial break.
We've got the one and only Steve Cortez.
He's in the house.
He's going to walk us through the debt ceiling, finance, the collapse of the budget, of the balance sheet of the Federal Reserve in the United States of America, and why it's going to impoverish you, your children, and your grandchildren.
Next, in The War Room.
unidentified
Pandemic, with Stephen K. Banham.
The epidemic is a demon and we cannot let this demon hide.
War Room.
Pandemic.
Here's your host, Stephen K. Bannon.
steve bannon
Okay, welcome back.
All hell's about to break loose because I've got Steve Cortese in the house.
Steve, you wrote an incredible piece on the debt ceiling, but I'd like just to give your assessment of the vaccine situation.
We've got 40% of healthcare workers are not vaccinated.
We've got Ben Burkham at the border.
You see this invasion of the southern United States.
In fact, we'll go back to Ben if he's still down there in this segment.
You've got the mask mandates all over now.
CDC saying one thing, FDA saying another.
You've got the Biden trying to jam through this $3.5 trillion second infrastructure plan, right?
The human debt.
Kristen Sinema says, I'm not having any of it because your numbers are imploding.
Walk us through where we really stand right now, you think, economically and financially, before we talk about your great piece on the debt ceiling.
steve cortes
Sure.
You know, the situation in Washington, D.C.
is nothing short of madness.
I think that's the reality, and you just ran through some of the prime examples of it.
For example, going door-to-door, knocking on the doors of American citizens, trying to pressure them to take an experimental treatment that they very well may not need.
At the same time, literally welcoming in Illegal migrants who are pouring over our border, who may very well be infected, but regardless of whether or not they're infected, they are showing up illegally and uninvited, and they are then put on buses and planes at taxpayer expense and flown throughout the United States.
This is an outrage what's going on.
But listen, I also want to say this, as bad as things are, the madness of Washington, D.C., as you mentioned, the tide is starting to turn.
We see this in all of the recent polling regarding approval of Joe Biden Both approval of him as an individual, and then even more so on specific issues.
And I think the main reason it's turning, Steve, I think the main reason that Americans are getting in an incredibly sour mood, as the polling shows us, is the Biden inflation spike, is what they are dealing with every single day at the gas pump, at the grocery store.
Americans, particularly if they're working class or lower income folks, they are being Crushed by these policies already.
We're only six months in.
I think they know that it's going to get worse.
That's what the polling shows us right now.
And because of that, I think there are openings here now.
You know, sometimes it can be very frustrating in Washington, D.C., because we in the America First crowd right now, we're out of power, right?
We don't have either House of Congress.
We don't have the Oval Office.
But we do have leverage that we can use.
That's why I wrote this article.
And again, the tide is starting to turn.
We need to see downfield.
We need to be able to see downrange.
What is coming next?
What's around the corner?
What can we do today to fight back against this Biden inflation spike?
And that's why I wrote this article.
And again, I think there are reasons.
There are reasons to be to be properly pessimistic about the present situation.
But there are also reasons to be optimistic about how things are already starting to turn and how we can accelerate that turn.
steve bannon
I want to go to, before we get back to inflation, you've been the single best person about the Hispanic vote in this country.
In particular, you're the first guy to really focus on the hard-scrabbled counties down in the Rio Grande Valley and South Texas, which are so central to the kind of economic populism.
You just saw Ben Berkram's report.
We're going to try to go back to Ben in a second.
Tell us how that's going to play when you have this open, obviously an invasion, and it's on their shoulders.
How's that going to play as far as overall, not just polling, but political dynamic?
steve cortes
Sure, Steve.
Listen, I think we're going to win two, perhaps three, Democrat House seats in South Texas.
I believe they're going to flip over to the Republican side because of exactly what's going on down there.
If we look from 2016 to 2020, the movements in those counties toward President Trump was just, it was astounding.
I mean, you don't see, you know politics very well, you know those kinds of moves don't happen in only four years.
I'm talking about Starr County, for example, 96% Hispanic, the most Hispanic county in America.
Donald Trump did not win it, but in 2016 he got clobbered by 60%.
This time he lost it by only 5%.
Right next door is Zapata County, which is 86% Hispanic.
He did win Zapata County by 5%.
That's a gain of 38% in margin versus 2016.
So the bad hombres, the good people, the American citizens of Hispanic descent who live down there on the border, they know the reality of what porous borders mean for them.
They know it better than anybody else.
But I also do want to say, it's not just a South Texas issue, it's not just a South Florida issue.
We gained a half million votes in LA County, in the largest and one of the most diverse counties in America.
In the Bronx, 90% minority.
Donald Trump doubled his vote share in raw votes.
And he gained in margins.
So this was a nationwide move among working class Hispanics.
steve bannon
To your point, can we get Ben Burquham up for a couple of minutes?
I want to go live because this is exactly what he's talking about, Cortez.
It's not just on the... Ben, let's get Ben Burquham live.
They're moving the illegal aliens right now.
Ben, can we go to you?
Tell us what's going on.
ben bergquam
Yeah, they've got the first bus.
It looks like they're about ready to get them in there.
And Steve, you guys are right.
This is affecting the dynamic down here in huge ways.
The local community, when you go into local businesses, used to be silent about it.
In a lot of ways, they're still afraid to speak out, but you are seeing it.
They are Not okay with what's happening behind me.
They are not okay with their community being invaded.
They are not okay with what's coming across the border.
Just real quick, I just want to add this to it as a perfect illustration of how pathetic this regime that we currently have is.
These are actually the footings for President Trump's wall.
The concrete footings that the wall never went up in.
If I turn a little further, way off in the distance, you can see President Trump's wall that never got finished.
We just spent $2 billion on not building that wall.
And we're allowing this to happen in our country.
This is... It's all connected to everything else we're seeing.
The implosion of the economy, the cost of wood going sky-high, the Green New Deal, and now talking about a trillion more of your tax dollars while they're telling you to put a mask on your face, while they're telling you to get a vaccine.
But we're letting this in.
No vaccine, no COVID checks here.
They're just bringing them into the country.
But that is why you are 100% right.
The people are waking up down here.
steve bannon
Ben Berquam, fabulous reporting for Real America's Voice.
So, Cortez, this has been your specialty.
I mean, you've nailed this before anybody else did.
Now you're seeing it.
Look, we're not demonizing the folks coming over from Central America.
They're actually probably the most rational actors of all.
They and the working class Hispanics on the other side are the most rational actors in this.
And here's the problem you've got.
Those that play by the rules get screwed.
Okay, that is the message they're sending.
Steve Cortez, tell us that shot.
We got the bridge on one side with the hard-working Mexicans coming over with the guys to work passes.
They'll never get here as citizens now because of what's happening right there, and it's going to be over two million a year, sir.
steve cortes
Steve, millions and millions of Americans right now are legal immigrants in the United States.
People who did it by the book, the right way.
Who waited in line and went through a process which can be difficult, long, and expensive.
I know this from my own father, for example.
My father came here many decades ago on a student visa.
Student visa ran out, wasn't able to get an additional visa.
He had to leave.
I asked him once, I said, did you ever consider staying?
He said, I would never do that.
I would never disrespect the United States, but he was back the day he was allowed to be back in the United States legally.
So to people like my father, millions of them, many of them Hispanic, it's an incredible insult to presuppose that it's okay for other people to simply cheat the system and hop the line and decide on their terms how they become Americans.
And this is why, by the way, Hispanics are not soft on border issues at all.
That is a media myth.
That is a media narrative, you know.
And by the way, too, when it comes to dangerous people who are crossing the border.
Now look, most of these folks are economic migrants.
They're not coming here with ill intent.
And you're right.
They're making a rational decision.
They've been invited by Joe Biden, okay?
But there are also some dangerous people, clearly, who come across.
And we know the cartels.
is in charge of the border, and in terms of the dangerous people who are coming across, who do have ill intent, who are their victims generally, Steve?
They are Hispanic Americans.
Those are the neighborhoods that they terrorize.
Just yesterday, I did a throwback Thursday.
I put up a video on my Getter account.
I'm at Steve.
Pretty cool name.
I was on there early.
It's just Steve.
I also put it on my Twitter.
I'm at Cortez Steve.
But I did a throwback Thursday video to Election Day, when I did a video From Trump campaign headquarters, highlighting Sandra Durant, a terrible story from Los Angeles.
A beautiful young Hispanic mother, a mother of three, who was killed in cold blood by a man who had been previously deported five times.
Twenty total criminal charges.
In the United States, a Mexican national who did not belong here, he was able, though he was released from jail and not deported because he lived in a so-called sanctuary jurisdiction of Los Angeles County.
He then killed Sandra Duran.
Unfortunately, her story is not unique.
There are thousands of stories.
They may not be that tragic, but it's not unique in terms of the harm that is done primarily to Hispanic Americans.
But listen, Here's the flip side again, Steve.
As terrible as the situation is at the border, I think at least it has woken up a lot of Americans who maybe weren't all that politically involved or politically astute.
They are realizing right now that as they're having a hard time affording their life because of inflation, we are inviting in a bunch of workers who are going to compete against them in the labor market.
And further exacerbate inflationary pressures.
steve bannon
Denver, go to Burquamps, play that while Steve and I talk.
People can hear our voice right now.
This is what's happening at the southern border.
People are just coming across, kind of invited in, putting them on buses, take them to gas stations, give them a thing to say at the honor system, check in in a couple of months, and you'll go from there.
Never to be seen again.
And principally, you're right, to go to Hispanic communities, but all over.
Every town's a border town, and this is what the Biden administration is doing.
Steve, how does this tie back to the inflation?
How does it tie back to the finances of the country?
And how does it tie back to this great piece you wrote about debt ceiling and about the spending being out of control, and quite frankly now, the debt being out of control?
steve cortes
Right.
And by the way, talk about spending.
This isn't cheap, what we're doing right now at the southern border.
A wall is cheap!
That's the thing, right?
A wall is a fantastic investment.
It pays enormous dividends.
Having to operate the kind of immigration system that we have right now, which is basically open borders, even though they don't use that term, is incredibly expensive in so many ways, both direct and indirect costs.
Regarding inflation, look, the reality is, unfortunately, inflation is absolutely exploding in this country, something we have not seen in a systemic, sustained way in America since the 1970s.
And I will say this, one of the few benefits of globalization was it depressed inflation for decades.
Now, it also depressed wages and all kinds of other fallout, but one of the things it did for us is it depressed inflation.
And so the United States, for the last 20 years, has been able to borrow a massive amount of money, far too much money, but we were able to basically get away with it because We had the reserve currency and the forces of globalization were keeping inflation depressed.
And as I write in my article in Real Clear Politics, you know, I traded bonds for 25 years and most bond pros like me always wondered, you know, where is the tipping point?
When are we going to hit the point where we're going to really pay a price for the massive amount of borrowing?
Well, we just hit it with Joe Biden.
And the reason I say that, the reason I know that is because of what's going on in commodity markets right now.
Now, we know that demand is not exploding.
We got a terrible GDP report out just two days ago.
It was almost two full percentage points off of Wall Street expectations, okay?
So, we know it's not a demand story, that the economy is so hot.
That that's justifying these kinds of commodity prices.
No, instead what's happening, Steve, is global capital is very smartly deploying into areas that will benefit from inflation.
Global capital is getting ahead of the Biden inflation spike.
Now, what do I mean by that?
That's why gas prices are soaring this way.
Gasoline futures have more than doubled this year.
On a national average, according to the Department of Energy, gas per gallon is now at $3.23 a gallon.
Of course, it's way higher than that.
In many places, like on the West Coast, above $4, above even $5 per gallon.
But it's also not just a gasoline story.
Let me just tell you a couple of the other, a few of the other commodities that are really important.
Coal, up 83% this year.
Port prices, up 50% this year.
Coffee prices have doubled since Election Day, or almost doubled, up 91% since Election Day.
All of these moves, Steve, tell me, as somebody who traded interest rates and inflation for a quarter century, These moves tell me that we have finally hit that break point because Biden is borrowing a staggering amount of money without a growth agenda.
That's the key difference.
Trump borrowed too much money, okay?
But it was with a growth agenda, right?
With an incredible growth agenda.
He was a CEO, entrepreneur, and chief president.
We now have the opposite.
We have ramped up the borrowing massively.
The borrowing's on steroids.
Without the growth agenda for us to succeed.
The only people who are going to succeed in this economy are the biggest players, the biggest existing players.
Small business is getting absolutely crushed.
And because of that, Lo, look, instead of just complaining about this, you know, I think we have to identify what is the solution?
What can we do to fight back?
I think the debt ceiling, which is going to expire this weekend, gives the GOP an opportunity, if they can find, if they have the wisdom and the huevos, to do what is right for the American people to fight against inflation.
steve bannon
Tomorrow night at midnight, it expires.
And it was this show, you know, six, seven, eight weeks ago with Steve Cortez, Steve Moore, and others that said, hey, this day is coming.
Okay, we're going to take a short commercial break.
We're going to come back, we've got The Border, we've got Steve Cortez.
I'm going to put up a chart and let the great Steve Cortez, who's a brilliant trader, actually talk about the relationship between the deficits, tax revenues, and the total debt, and how it's going to directly, and I mean directly, affect your life, your life as you live it now.
...in the United States of America.
Okay, short commercial break.
We'll return in The War Room with Steve Cortez, Newsmax anchor, next.

steve bannon
Okay, welcome back to the War Room.
I want to bring that up first, because right now you can't talk about vaccines, you can't talk about therapeutics, you can't talk about 3 November.
Very quickly, you're going to not be able to talk about the political prisoners.
And I've got to tell you, you're not going to be able to talk about our debt.
I want to bring in Steve Cortez.
You tie so many things together because you're really an economic populist, economic nationalist.
You get the Trump movement, I think, particularly on the economic finance side and how it ties to politics better than anybody.
Let's put this chart up.
Let's put this chart up from Denver.
I hope we got the right way.
It's coming back.
Yeah, that's perfect.
Steve, talk about this chart.
I want everybody in our podcast and radio who can't see it, but it is one of the most shocking from the great Dave Ramaswamy.
He got this to me this morning.
Talk about this chart and about this is how, not just empires end, this is how nations end as nations and this is how you lose your sovereignty.
Sir?
unidentified
Yep.
steve cortes
So the bottom part of that chart, which is the most alarming, which is the red part, that is the total debt.
And you can see it has just been a long march to massive levels of indebtedness.
And by the way, Steve, I think this is important to point out.
The Republican Party has been every bit as complicit in this debt, in this totally irresponsible debt binge as the Democratic Party.
This has been a Washington uniparty consensus that we are going to borrow Endlessly, okay?
Now, again, until recently, there weren't that many near-term consequences, right?
We were able to get away with this profligacy.
We can't anymore.
Joe Biden has finally tipped us.
He has tipped the balance into inflationary times.
And to your point about the dangers of inflation, Steve, if you look back historically, in terms of ends of empires or real societal unrest, for example, and I put this in my article at Real Care Politics, the Weimar Republic of Germany, the inflation is what led to Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party.
unidentified
Amen.
steve cortes
That's probably the most extreme example, but there are many examples all throughout history of what inflation can do to a society.
Now, we are already at this point a pretty unstable and polarized society in very many ways.
You throw inflation onto that already, you know, say it's a low-level fire, you throw the gasoline, very expensive gasoline, you throw gasoline of inflation onto that, and I fear that it could become an inferno.
I really do.
I fear for our country if we don't tame this inflation because it is going absolutely punish working-class people and at some point they're not going to take it anymore and they won't only resort to regular peaceful political means. I really think that that is a possibility if we don't tame this inflation. But again there are things we can do right now if the 50 GOP senators if they show some backbone if they show some wisdom and resolve there's things they can do this weekend into next week.
They need to stand up and say, we are not raising the debt ceiling unless we get massive concessions from the Democrats.
These next few weeks, instead of taking a recess, let's have a showdown and show the American people that we're fighting against the Biden inflation that is crushing them at the gas pump and at the grocery store.
steve bannon
Please keep that chart up.
Don't move that chart.
Okay, put the chart back up, Denver, if you could.
I gotta get to the chart.
And not that I don't love looking at Cortez.
This chart, okay, the top of the green is total tax revenues.
You see the drop there because of the CCP virus.
The deficit's in the orange.
We're going to have breaking news at 5 o'clock.
I'm going to talk about the dollar.
I'm going to talk about the digital yuan.
I'm going to talk about the RMB.
The only way that this scam can go is because the dollar is the prime reserve currency.
Everything in the world has to be converted to the dollar.
The moment that ends, ladies and gentlemen, because you see the ability to pay for it's up there by your taxes, and then the bonds you can sell.
All we do is print money.
And the Uniparty gutlessly has printed, and printed, and printed, and I'm telling you that merry-go-round's about to stop.
Steve, what happens when we're not able to pay?
What is Argentina like?
Because we just become an Argentina on steroids.
What happened, sir?
steve cortes
Argentina, which a century ago, a little more than a century ago, was one of the wealthiest countries in the world.
Okay, let's remember that.
And it has struggled ever since.
And by the way, that's just another example.
What led to Perón?
Well, the inflation in Argentina.
You know, we could go all over the world.
Again, Hitler's the worst example, but there's a lot of examples all over the world of what happens to societies that allow inflation to really take hold. To your point, Steve, the reason we've gotten away with this until now is the dollars, the reserve currency, and what that really means is the whole world wants to do transactions in dollars. Okay, so whether it's selling oil, it has nothing to do with the United States, right? Saudi Arabia is selling oil to China.
Whether it's a drug deal, an arms deal, the world does transactions But that can end.
The reserve currency, historically, has always belonged to the country with the strongest military.
Now, we certainly still have the strongest military right now, but when I look at our military leadership, when I see the Pentagon Chief, the Secretary of Defense, Lloyd Austin, who's supposed to be the tip of the spear, when I see him get off a plane with a mask and a face shield and doing pathetic finger...
Fist bumps?
That tells me that American military dominance is not something that we can just assume into the future.
When we have Mark Milley, who's also supposed to be part of the tip of the spear, when we have him talking about white rage, whatever the heck that means, instead of talking about how our military can kill its enemies and break things when necessary, we cannot assume that military dominance.
And if we don't have that military dominance, we don't have that dollar dominance either.
The two are inextricably linked.
And the dollar dominance, again, has allowed us to essentially get away with it until now.
But I'm telling you, Steve, we've reached the breakpoint, and you don't have to take my word for it.
Look at the commodity markets.
Money is pouring into assets that will do well with inflation.
This global capital is smart, Steve.
These are people like Paul Tudor Jones, some of the biggest, best investors in the entire world, saying it's going to get worse.
steve bannon
We're going to have an explosive show at 5 o'clock.
I'm going to talk about the dollar.
I'm going to talk about how it affects your life.
And I'm talking about how this merry-go-round is going to end.
Because Argentina, America's Argentina, is not that far away.
Okay?
And it's going to change everything.

Watch for Ben Birquam on this channel all day long at the border.
It's beyond a tragedy.
This is an insult, a lack of respect to this great republic.
