| Then, a couple days later, in the Situation Room, he had a throwdown with a person who just met him, Peter Navarro, where Peter Navarro warned that if measures were not taken to stop incoming traffic, air traffic from China, and to quarantine people, don't forget that, to quarantine people coming in, That you could have a million or two million casualties in the first year of this. | ||
| And Tony Fauci completely said no, that never works, there's nothing to worry about here. | ||

| And Peter Navarro has the memos, has all the correspondence and the emails. | ||

| You have to get to the bottom of this, and one of the reasons you have to get to the bottom of it We have to find out why the official apparatus is dug in on these issues, and that's why I want to bring in Dr. Naomi Wolf, who really has been now outcasted by not just the liberal society or the mainstream media, because she's asked some basic questions, and when she refuses to get straight answers, she's going to ask more questions. | ||

| Why is it that the mainstream media refuses in the official apparatus, the permanent political class, Wall Street, the global corporatists, why do they refuse to even engage into a discussion about these disparate facts, ma'am? | ||

| You're asking a question that, uh, you know, I, I can't answer easily because I'm as shocked as you are. | ||
| And I'm again, a lifetime Democrat, a, you know, totally down the middle reporter. | ||
| Um, and I looked at this exchange between Rand Paul, I do want to speak to it for a minute, between Senator Paul and Dr. Fauci. | ||
| And I thought, well, that is just weird that Dr. Fauci is saying that because We've been posting those BAT studies, you know, from science and from nature, peer-reviewed studies, since November of last year. | ||
| And then a quick Google search showed that news stories about the gain-of-function research, about the BAT studies, were on the NIH website. | ||
| And not only that, with a quick search of grants.me, which records all science grants, you see that Peter Daszak's Bat Coronavirus to Human Studies have been going on, funded by the NIH, since 2014. | ||
| And they're due to last until 2025. | ||
| And that he got at least $1.2 million from Dr. Fauci's agency. | ||
| And what's really alarming to me as a journalist, and I'll just put this out there, because it bears more scrutiny, Is that back in 2015, Peter Daszak, his studies were looking at the transmission from bad coronaviruses to humans at wet markets in China. | ||
| So this is five years before that exact narrative emerged as the source of, you know, totally by accident, out of the blue, this virus. | ||
| So it could be completely unrelated. | ||
| But to me as a journalist, the fact that Dr. Fauci has been Funding these studies. | ||
| They're right there. | ||
| They're on the NIH website on the NIH website It also says that the NIH stopped the funding abruptly when President Trump called attention to it That is that bears investigation. | ||
| You know, you can't be a journalist or a citizen and think there shouldn't be questions asked because you know that that's an obvious set of questions that need to be asked and the last thing I want to say is that I'm shocked that Dr. Fauci, I don't use the word lie lightly, you know, I try to never be ad hominem and give people the benefit of the doubt, innocent till proven guilty. | ||
| But literally in five minutes of Googling, it was clear that Dr. Fauci lied. | ||
| And you know, you know, when people are saying, what is gain of function? | ||
| He's parsing his words about is it, you know, is it that kind of research, which involves weaponization? | ||
| The NIH tag on the grant Summary, right, is biodefense and biotechnology. | ||
| That's the NIH's tag. | ||
| That's how the NIH categorized this research. | ||
| And the last thing which will blow the minds of everyone, like it blew my mind, is that this was Peter Daszak's research. | ||
| And as the New Yorker reported, in a very thorough report, that research has raised alarms among other scientists who have been saying, as you pointed out, This is too dangerous. | ||
| You know, there could be a lab accident. | ||
| A lab worker could get infected. | ||
| Don't do it. | ||
| But nonetheless, they forged ahead. | ||
| And when there was a call for an investigation in China of the Wuhan lab, who was tasked to do the investigation? | ||
| You won't believe it. | ||
| Peter Daszak. | ||
| He's the one who was tasked with going to see if everything was kosher. | ||
| You know, with those experiments. | ||
| So Dr. Fauci said a lot of things in his testimony, but it seems to me as a journalist on its face that for journalists, and I had the exact same moment you did, Steve, yesterday, you know, looking at Yahoo, looking at CNN, all these people saying, oh, you know, Rand Paul is trolling Dr. Fauci. | ||
| Rand Paul is harassing Dr. Fauci. | ||
| He's a conspiracy theorist. | ||
| Not one of these journalists seems to have done a five-minute Google search to see if Dr. Fauci had funded gain-of-function research about bat coronaviruses infecting humans, which he seems to have done for five years, you know, clearly. | ||
| So that was a very shocking moment to me as a reporter. | ||
| OK, we're going to come back because I know you've been on the vaccines and about the therapeutics and everything that's going on. | ||
| And this has not been your major area of inquiry. | ||

| What is shocking to me is that it's pretty smart operations, operations. | ||

| The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation also invested in the development of the Moderna vaccine and the Pfizer vaccine. | ||
| Lastly, Bill Gates owns 40% of Microsoft and Microsoft is the tech company along with Oracle and Salesforce that have launched the vaccine passport. | ||

| So, a great Columbia Journalism Review article tracked a lot of this money from the Gates Foundation to the news media. | ||
| It's millions to the New York Times. | ||
| Millions to NPR, to The Guardian, and, you know, to The Telegraph, you know, to news outlets around the world, including in the United States. | ||
| So, you know, you're in the news biz. | ||
| I'm in the news biz. | ||
| You know that until recently, that even The New York Times, The Washington Post, were operating on very fragile margins. | ||
| Their business model had collapsed. | ||
| Digital advertising removed their usual income stream. | ||

| government writing checks for millions of dollars every year for COVID education and overcoming vaccine hesitancy, and there is going to be one line. | ||

| So I, as some of you know, used to be a political consultant to the Clinton re-election campaign and to Gore 2000. | ||

And I saw firsthand how people were kept out of the rooms where decisions are being made. | |
| And then I wrote a couple of books showing that there are barriers to citizen participation. | ||
| Well, our founders meant, as you said, Steve, for us to be leading this country, you know, ordinary citizens, not that anyone's ordinary. | ||

| We're all in this fight together, you know, for our freedoms and liberties. | ||

| And she hosted a wonderful event with 60 state legislators. | ||
| To learn about the five freedoms and especially about vaccine passports. | ||
| She then hosted a fantastic rally on the outside the closed statehouse. | ||
| But in between, her colleague, Senator Rudnicki, also Republican, wonderful woman. | ||
| You know, again, these are like the people of Maine. | ||
| Senator Rudnicki has a used car dealership. | ||
| Senator, I'm sorry, State Rep. | ||
| Radnicki has a used car dealership. | ||
| State Rep. | ||
| Sampson was a teacher and a farmer. | ||
| These are people who are in touch with their constituents. | ||
| The constituents are saying, the state is closed. | ||
| Businesses are dying. | ||
| There's no workforce. | ||
| Our kids can't go to school. | ||
| This has to stop. | ||
| There's emergency law. | ||
| There's been emergency law for 14 months. | ||
| The state is devastated. | ||
| So Shelley Radnicki has been going to knock on the door of Governor Janet Mills for a year, and they don't give her a meeting. | ||
| So Shelley Rudnicky, Representative Rudnicky, says the governor is not meeting with legislators, certainly not with Republicans, and that's her job. | ||
| So she's been doing this on Facebook Live for her constituents 34 times live on Facebook. | ||
| She knocked on the door of the governor's office in the closed statehouse The staff takes her name, never calls her back. | ||
| So that seemed like a pretty chilling story when she told me about it. | ||
| And I said, well, let me follow you with my cameraman and show the people of Maine that this is happening. | ||
| So she brought me in with my cameraman, Tony Uscali, totally appropriately. | ||
| We signed every form. | ||
| We checked every box. | ||
| We were fully masked. | ||
| She's allowed to bring in two guests at a time. | ||
| All of them are. | ||
| We entered with a camera. | ||
| We identified ourselves as press. | ||
| The state house was completely closed. | ||
| I mean, Steve, I can't describe to you echoing halls. | ||
| No legislators, no constituents. | ||
| We got footage of the giant, beautiful assembly room where state legislature usually meets. | ||
| And there's a galley where the people of Maine can come see transparently their legislators and hear the debates. | ||
| That was closed. | ||
| No one was there, and it was laborious to get inside, but we followed every protocol. | ||
| Well, we did follow her to outside the door of Governor Mills. | ||
| We got her on video knocking on the door for the 34th time. | ||
| The staffer opened the door, politely took her name again, and then I stepped up, identified myself politely as press. | ||
| All of this is on video. | ||
| And asked, why is the governor not responding to a legislator and giving her a meeting? | ||
| That staffer vanished. | ||
| Another staffer that was identified to me later as her chief of staff appeared. | ||
| And really, you know, I felt it was a confrontational moment. | ||
| I didn't mean for it to be. | ||
| I was being completely courteous and just doing my job as a reporter. | ||
| But he stepped forward and said, quite belligerently, you do not belong here. | ||
| To me, as a journalist, and that's on video and we're escorted. | ||
| So that is what happened. | ||
| And it's what I really want to explain to the people of Maine and people of this country is that, and by the way, you know, no one, when I said, why are you escorting me out? | ||
| I'm a journalist. | ||
| Isn't there a first amendment here in the Maine State House? | ||
| No one answered because there is no law, except whatever tyrants want to call emergency law, stopping journalists from walking into what is a public space, still supported by the taxpayers of Maine, and reporting on what's happening in there, showing the people of Maine what's happening there, and asking questions of their elected officials. | ||
| That is what we are supposed to do. | ||
| I do belong there, and so does Representative Rennicki, and she deserves to have her governor talk to her, you know, give her a meeting. | ||
| So that was really, really shocking. | ||
| And the coda that's even more shocking, you know, I was attacked by the Bank of Daily News. | ||
| Same thing happened in Michigan after testimony. | ||
| That doesn't even matter. | ||
| But what really, really matters was that Representative Rudnicki has been disciplined by the leadership, unfortunately, as I understand, the Democratic leadership. | ||
| and punished for bringing a reporter into the statehouse. | ||
| She's been punished by not being allowed to have guests, meaning her constituents cannot meet with her. | ||
| So that is the situation in Maine. | ||
