| So, you know, this is the problem that you've been struggling with, this sort of vaccine hesitancy. | ||
| This obviously is a setback. | ||
| What do you have to sort of ramp up into an additional war-type effort to really ensure that this message gets out there? | ||
| Do you personally go to late states like Mississippi where the vaccine vaccination rate is really low? | ||
| Let me answer your first question. | ||
| You know, we, consistent with it being a wartime effort, we've planned for different scenarios with contingencies. | ||
| So, we have enough supply of Moderna and Pfizer. | ||
| To hit the targets that we've set, the 200 million shots in 100 days, and to head toward the 4th of July that we've talked about as a country, a more normal 4th of July. | ||
| Clearly, part of that is making sure that when it's an American's turn to get vaccinated, they get vaccinated. | ||
| We do need to continue to build confidence, and that's done at the community level. | ||
| People are trusting of their local doctors, their faith leaders, their neighbors. | ||
| Which is why it's important when people do get vaccinated, they not only get themselves vaccinated, but they spread the word about the safety and effectiveness of the vaccines. | ||
| Just to nail it down, Jim, one of the goals that you haven't mentioned today is the hope that there'll be enough supply on hand for the country by the end of May. | ||
| Is that still operative now in the wake of this pause? | ||
| And the second question is, it's a bit surprising to learn that you only yourself learned about this this morning. | ||
| Do you wish it would have heard sooner? | ||
| I learned about it last night that there would be an announcement, not the specifics of the announcement. | ||

| And we want the science agencies to lead with science. | ||
| And there's no reason for us to be involved in any of the scientific decisions. | ||

| That is the FDA's role. | ||
| That is the CDC's role. | ||
| And they're led by terrific leaders with great teams to do the science and this administration will be led by science. | ||
| As to your first question, we believe there's enough vaccination, there's vaccine in the system, Moderna and Pfizer, for all Americans who want to get vaccinated by May 31st to do so. | ||
| I'm glad you were more specific about the type of headache or the type of shortness of breath people should be aware of, as opposed to the everyday shortness of breath you might get when you walk up a flight of stairs and you get to the top and feel a little bit short of breath. | ||
| And, you know, if you've had the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, you can see people starting to panic at that point. | ||
| Let's say you've got the vaccine and you've made it to the two to three weeks post-shot. | ||
| You don't have any symptoms. | ||
| Sanjay, are you in the clear? | ||
| It sounds like it. | ||
| I mean, you know, all we know is these six patients at this point, Donna, so we're sort of learning some of this real time. | ||
| And what they, the reason they came up with this time frame is that they develop symptoms within that period of time, within 13 days after having received the vaccine. | ||
| So, you know, we'll see if something else sort of comes out of this investigation that they're going to do over the next few days. | ||
| But it sounds like if this is some sort of immune reaction, you've given the vaccine, and now as part of the immune reaction that you're getting to make antibodies, that immune reaction is also affecting your platelets. | ||
| Typically that happens pretty quickly. | ||
| So, you know, I think that's where they're coming up with this timeframe, but we'll see. | ||
| That'll be a big question when they actually announce their conclusions. | ||

| He was also head of the CDC at the time this was happening, which means that in addition to everything that we know, he had access to raw data and raw intelligence that was coming out of China. | ||
| My point is that it's a much more informed sort of thing for him to be saying than for anybody who may have expertise in virology, because he has a lot more knowledge and information that he has that maybe he can't share, but is informing his opinion. | ||
| It's still an opinion. | ||
| But, you know, the thing that sort of struck me is, first of all, just you'll appreciate this as a media guy, these interviews were 20 plus hours of interviews, you know, ultimately you got to distill it down into, yeah, I mean, you know, and then you have to like get rid of 18 hours of it. | ||
| It's like, you know, picking favorite children. | ||
| Yeah. | ||
| But one of the reasons it was so long is because that part of the discussion around China, I must've asked the question a dozen different ways. | ||
| And I, and I, and I gave a lot of escape hatches for him to, to really clarify. | ||
| Well, you know, it's anybody's guess, whatever. | ||
| And he did, you know, he hedged a little bit. | ||
| He didn't come out and say a hundred percent, this, this came from, but he, he really was quite adamant that this, this is the, the origin of the virus. | ||
| And he doesn't think it was manmade. | ||
| As you know, he just thinks that the virus had been isolated. | ||
| It was being studied in this lab, being exposed to human cells, and then had an accidental lab leak. | ||
| Well, I was not as shocked, I think, as you're alluding to, by what he said as the fact that he said it. | ||
| Because it's been out there for some time. | ||
| And I've been looking into this angle of the story for a while, looking at what happened in the Wuhan Institute of Virology, even pre-pandemic, some of the regulatory lapses there and all that. | ||
| And it, you know, I mean, there's reason to suspect that this is the origin of the virus. | ||
| I mean, it's the only, it's a big virology lab right in Wuhan that happened to be studying bat coronaviruses. | ||
| Just from an Occam's razor standpoint, finding the simplest explanation, it would make sense. | ||
| Also keep in mind that 14 months now, 15 months into this, we still don't know for certain what the origin is. | ||
| So I don't think anybody who says, well, this obviously came from a wet market. | ||
| You say, well, where's the evidence behind that? | ||
| There was lots of people who had never been to that wet market who became infected. | ||
| That's an interesting issue. | ||
| What we know is that the ground zero for this virus was within a few miles of that lab. | ||
| If you simply do an Occam's razor approach, that the simplest explanation is probably the most likely. | ||
| I think it's incumbent on China to prove that it wasn't that lab. | ||

| A 100-person conference call put together by Lynn Forrester de Rothschild, who's up to her neck with the Kennedys, right? | ||

| So how does that tie in with the CNN and the AT&T and the Time Warner aspect? | ||

| So this country has gone from a place of small-R Republican self-government to really, there's no term that we could use here other than an oligarchy, which has separated itself off from the rest Of the country and uses things like wokeism as a way to distract everybody else from the fact that it really is a very small group of people who are taking the political decisions for the whole country. | ||
| So do we want to be a country that is ruled by the top 100 or 500 corporations in this country where they have these conference calls over the weekend to say, you know, no voters of Georgia, no voters of Texas, of Arizona, you can't decide your laws through the legislature because we, your betters, the corporations who employ you, who sell you your food, who do your banking, who give you or sell you your internet, we're gonna take those things away from you if you do anything that displeases us. | ||
| So that's just unacceptable. | ||
| And it's time for Republican legislators to understand that the Fortune 500 is at war with them. | ||
| I wanna go real, we've got a couple of minutes, but when I first started talking about this years ago, people say, oh, this Bannon, you know, He's a radical. | ||
| This concept, when you have people like yourself, traditional limited government conservatives and people that are steeped in Barry Goldwater and Ronald Reagan, all that, when you're, when guys like Chris Buskirk, Are using the term oligarch to describe Fortune 500, the biggest companies in America and the leaders of those companies and what they're doing to working class people, which is now really the Republican Party. | ||
