This has now killed more than a hundred people in China and new cases have been confirmed around the world.
You don't want to frighten the American public.
France and South Korea have also got evacuation plans.
But you need to prepare for and assume.
Broadly warning Americans to avoid all non-essential travel to China.
That this is going to be a real serious problem.
France, Australia, Canada, the US, Singapore, Cambodia, Vietnam, the list goes on.
Health officials are investigating more than a hundred possible cases in the US.
Germany, a man has contracted the virus.
The epidemic is a demon and we cannot let this demon hide.
Japan, where a bus driver contracted the virus.
Coronavirus has killed more than 100 people there and infected more than 4,500.
anthony fauci
We have to prepare for the worst, always, because if you don't and the worst happens, War Room.
unidentified
Pandemic.
Here's your host, Stephen K. Banham.
steve bannon
Welcome live from the occupied Washington, D.C., Capitol Hill.
You're in the War Room.
It's Tuesday, 9 February, Year of Our Lord 2021.
Podcast over 34 million downloads live nationally on Radio John Furnish Radio Network, also Real America's Voice.
That is Dish Channel 219, Comcast Channel 113 and Rumble, G News, GTV in Mandarin, Roku, Pluto, everywhere.
We try to meet you where the listeners and audience are, the most powerful audience in all of Media.
OK, I want to go quickly to have Boris Epstein.
We're here to talk about the trial today that just kicked off.
We've also got massive news coming out of Wuhan.
W.H.O.
says it came from a cave in the wet market.
We're going to get all that.
We've got Dr. Yang, Peter Navarro.
I want to first go to Jack Pasovic.
Jack, you've been watching this since it started.
It's day one.
This is just Constitution Day.
This is kind of like preseason, right?
They argue the Constitution, the opening of the opening of the opening, but they don't get into really the meat of it.
Until tomorrow, but as we've been saying, I look I wanted to get out there.
It's very unbalanced.
They've come in highly emotional with a with a with a selectively cut a super cut at the beginning was almost 12 to 15 minutes long and they wanted these very emotional arguments and then our guys are there.
The president's guys are there arguing very dry constitution.
I realize that the Constitutional Day, they're going to vote on that on the constitutionality of it.
But it's just it's it's asymmetric right now, Mr. Jack.
jack posobiec
Look, we'd said from the very start that this was going to be asymmetric 4G warfare.
That's exactly what you're seeing.
Look, I watched this video that Jamie Raskin played.
It's a doctored video, right?
They said they had new evidence.
Yeah.
What they meant was they were tampering with the evidence.
But here's the thing.
They're not intending that video for the Jack Posobics of the world or the Steve Bannon's or Raheem Kassam's.
That video is intended for the person that's flipping through his TV channel, sees the impeachment, clicks on low information.
If you saw that video, and that was the only thing you had seen of this entire fracas, this entire event, Boy, you would want Donald Trump in chains for the rest of his life.
You would register Democrat and you would vote for them every single day until the day you died.
steve bannon
That's so Dr. Harbison.
jack posobiec
That is how powerful this video is.
It was incredibly manipulative, but hats off.
That is something directly out of Hollywood.
I understand they actually worked with a media firm to put that together.
steve bannon
By the way, I don't doubt this.
As we said, Raheem, for the last couple of days, you saw this coming between the way they wrote the script and their charges.
We said it's like a TV script.
To watch Ari Melver, watch Boris Epstein out there pounding it with Ari Melver at 10 o'clock on Sunday night on these specials, they were telling you what they were going to do.
This emotional, as you call it, full pathos.
raheem kassam
Full pathos.
And credit to them for it.
It's compelling.
It's what people are tuning in for.
Politics is a contact sport in that sense, right?
You've got to be able to bring the narrative right up to somebody's nose, right into their eardrums, right up to their eyeballs.
It's what people are looking for.
They're not interested in the subtext of the subtext of Clause 6 of Paragraph H of whatever.
And that's what these guys, that's what President Trump's lawyers have been doing today.
Now listen, I think there are plenty of avenues for attack in some of the arguments that the Democrats have made today.
I think they've left themselves wide open.
The question is Number one of the President's lawyers, you know, one of them talked about, hey, you know, I came to Capitol Hill early so I could, you know, navigate my way around the place.
Like, what are you talking about?
Right?
Just get on with it.
So the question is, are they professional enough and are they political enough to hit the Democrats in the gaping holes they've left?
jack posobiec
Where's the A game?
steve bannon
Boris, speaking of A game, you're the only guy I think we can roll out there that's a lawyer, been a surrogate, you can hunker down and take incoming like nobody else, but even a guy like you, It's gonna be tough, and I gotta ask you, everybody's saying, well, it doesn't matter because MAGA's not interested.
It's not.
It doesn't matter if MAGA's not interested.
They're pushing this so that low-information voters and mid-information voters will be interested with the drama.
Boris Epstein, what say you?
boris epshteyn
Steve, great to be with you.
Thanks so much.
It's nice to be here in the War Room.
A lot friendlier than being on MSNBC last night in primetime at 6.30 p.m.
Eastern with Ari Melber, who's a tough interviewer.
I've always respected Ari for that, and he gave me the time, but you could see where they're coming from right away.
Boom!
Three key points that they're putting up there which are not true in terms of National Guard being delayed, the President's words which they're mischaracterizing.
and what actually happened on the 6th.
Then they've got the cut and paste manufactured video with President's words.
unidentified
Most of them are from 2015 and 2016, literally before he became President.
steve bannon
So bad.
boris epshteyn
So bad.
But you know what?
But it says 2015 in this tiny little font that you have to kind of squint to see it, even on my 100-incher I got going on.
But you know what I'm saying?
This thing is nuts.
But you know what?
As Rahim said and Jack said, the Democrats, you've got to hand it to them.
They know what they're doing.
We've seen this coming, as you mentioned.
These are produced MSNBC-style shows they're putting on for the American people.
And you said low information, mid-information.
I think those are kind of fancy terms.
The term for that is regular people, regular Americans, right?
Americans are scrolling through.
They see these videos and they're like, wow, that's real.
And then they see these lawyers and they're kind of, oh, well, Article 2, Paragraph 6, Article 1, Paragraph 4.
You know, I'm here as Rahim said, I really like this building so much.
What you're supposed to be saying is, this is—first of all, why are we arguing anything else today?
This is supposed to be just on the Constitution.
So let's get in there, let's hammer away about how unconstitutional it is, and then if you want to, let's keep going and saying there's no incitement, there is absolutely No violence called for by the President of the United States.
He condemned violence on that day time and time and time again.
And then, let's go to the key, that it is not a big lie to talk about voter fraud, election fraud.
unidentified
Because if it were, Mark Elias could be a big lie.
steve bannon
But here's the thing.
This goes back to when Jack called it asymmetric the other day.
Today's supposed to be the Constitution Day.
We're supposed to reset and argue the Constitution.
I think they're going to try to even have a vote afterwards.
These guys are not playing by the marquee of Queensborough's rules.
They have a doctor video.
They show up.
The very first thing you're going to get 15 minutes of pure pathos.
jack posobiec
Why would you expect that?
I want them to play by the rules.
It's asymmetric.
This is prison rules, folks.
We are rolling out here.
We are coming at you.
Full barrel.
I don't care if it's Constitution Day.
You gotta come out there with your best.
You gotta come out with your A-game from the first moment you set foot on that court.
It's eight miles.
steve bannon
So, Boris, I gotta ask you.
A lot of guys come in and say, Oh, MAGA doesn't care about this.
MAGA's moved on to things.
Should the MAGA movement be watched?
Particularly tomorrow when they do the curtain raiser.
Tomorrow's gonna be two or three days of pure beatdown where the prosecution goes first.
Should MAGA watch this?
boris epshteyn
Well, you better know what's going on, right?
Unless you want to be like, you know, it's Ali Frazier, and you're Ali, and you've got the blindfolds on, or something closing your eyes.
Yeah, if you want to know what's coming at you, you better have your eyes open.
Don't have the blindfold on.
Know who's punching you.
Know who's hitting you.
Know how they're going to hit you.
And you better be prepared to hit back.
Because this is a full frontal assault on the MAGA movement.
In the name of the leader of the MAGA movement, the leader of the Republican Party—yes, Liz Cheney and your 13 or 10 percent approval in Wyoming—the leader of the Republican Party, Donald J. Trump, the 45th and hopefully 47th president of the United States.
This is a full frontal assault, and we better be ready, and it better not just all be niceties and, how you doing, and this building's pretty.
We know it's pretty.
The Pocahontas painting, all that.
Great.
Congratulations, Mazel Tov, OK?
And yes, I'm Jewish, so I can use the Yiddish.
Bannon is an honorary Jew.
We all know it.
Okay?
This is what's going on.
This is a full frontal assault.
Be ready.
Be prepared.
Come in.
And if it's Ali, if it's Ali Frazier, if it's Ali, you know, if it's Rumble in the Jungle, Ali Foreman, you better be ready.
Hit it hard.
Because if you don't, you're going to get knocked out.
steve bannon
Real quickly, I want to go around the horn, and I want to start with you, Boris, and go to the other two guys.
What is this kind of olive branch they're handing out to Ben Sasse and to Toomey and these guys?
Am I missing something?
Why are they doing that when these people have been so awful to the president?
What's the story with the lawyers?
What are they trying to accomplish?
And do you think it's appropriate, and would you do it if you were up there arguing?
boris epshteyn
This is the second time on media that I've heard Ben Sasse's name.
The first time was on MSNBC last night, when Ari Melba brought up Ben Sasse played his words, claiming that President Trump was somehow giddy during the January 6th lie, which is a false statement.
It is a lie.
So, just like they used Liz Cheney against President Trump, they're using Ben Sasse against President Trump, so I've got no olive branch for Ben Sasse.
None.
No olive branch, no olive oil, no bread, nothing whatsoever.
I've got no interest.
Ben Sasse has been stabbing President Trump, the MAGA movement, and Republicans in the front and the back, so I'm not sure what room there is for Ben Sasse in the Republican Party.
steve bannon
You're a Pennsylvania guy.
I thought Castro was a ministerial politician.
What's he doing with Toomey on this?
jack posobiec
Look, we do have breaking news, and I'm not a huge Castro guy, but the Senate has voted 56-44.
The trial will go on.
They have now set the precedent that it is constitutional to impeach a former U.S.
official.
boris epshteyn
Awesome.
raheem kassam
Let's have at it then.
No, let's have at it.
Come on, who's first?
Is it Obama?
Is it for the Russia stuff?
unidentified
55-45, who else flipped?
steve bannon
We gotta find out.
raheem kassam
Yeah, we're finding out.
steve bannon
We're gonna find out.
jack posobiec
Was it Romney or was it Sass?
That's really the question.
boris epshteyn
No, no, no, hold on.
You had five.
unidentified
It was Romney, Sass... Oh, no, no, you had somebody else.
steve bannon
55-45, we lost somebody.
raheem kassam
Welcome to life.
steve bannon
Good arguments.
No, good arguments, Castor.
boris epshteyn
Yeah, we lost somebody.
steve bannon
These guys are so good today, we lost somebody.
boris epshteyn
And you know what, Andrew Cuomo was the head of HHS back in the day, or was it HUD?
Let's impeach him!
steve bannon
HUD.
unidentified
HUD.
boris epshteyn
Why not?
steve bannon
No, but I want to go to now, this is like offsides in football, or you get a free option in finance.
Now you know that you don't have the 17 votes to convict him.
Does the President, now that he's got this in his back pocket, can you now shift and next week start arguing the receipts?
Boris Epstein.
boris epshteyn
Why wait till next week?
This is the week.
They're already there.
We know.
By the way, don't forget.
The Democrats came into this today.
They weren't supposed to have a rebuttal.
But Jamie Raskin said, eh, you know what?
I woke up today, and I'm kind of feeling feisty, so I'm having a rebuttal.
And notice that they're saying there may not be witnesses as of now.
And by the way, when that came up last night, you could sense Democrats are very uncomfortable with the fact that there are no witnesses.
But that could change in a heartbeat, too.
So, the Democrats are not playing by the rules.
The Democrats are not doing what they agreed.
So, hey, let's go in there.
Let's argue our case.
Let's stand strong.
And as I said in Politico, if they win here, is for the MAGA movement to continue to stand strong.
We've got to fight back all across the board and that includes in the well of the Senate.
raheem kassam
The flipped vote belongs to Senator Bill Cassidy.
Senator Bill Cassidy of Louisiana.
jack posobiec
Bill Cassidy, Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski, Mitt Romney, Ben Sasse, and Pat Toomey.
That is the six.
unidentified
Why would Bill Cassidy do this?
boris epshteyn
Does he not like them?
raheem kassam
He's not here right now.
I can't ask him for you.
unidentified
Okay, Boris, we've got a better... Real quick, who's the guy to remember?
boris epshteyn
And I've said this to people who used to work with Liz Cheney.
You have to think about the constituents.
Do you think that the people of Louisiana are in favor of this sham of an impeachment trial?
Of course they're not.
steve bannon
That's how bad opening day went.
boris epshteyn
You lost one of your 45.
steve bannon
From Louisiana.
jack posobiec
From Louisiana.
steve bannon
This is what they say.
That's how bad it was.
You know what they say?
With the 10 they got from the thing and now they're going to say the most bipartisan impeachment effort ever.
Most bipartisan ever.
This is how they're going to rub our noses.
Boris, what's your social media accordance?
boris epshteyn
I know you're following this closely.
Andrew Johnson came in with a little one of being removed, so we could still fight on that.
But we have to continue to be strong.
No question about it.
My social is at BorisEP on Twitter.
Hot on the gram.
Boris underscore Epstein.
Boris underscore EPSHTEYN on Instagram.
At BorisEP on Twitter.
God bless.
Stay strong.
steve bannon
Thank you, Boris Epstein.
You're watching him on social media.
Raheem, how did we do in the opening?
In the opening salvo here, how was it?
raheem kassam
Today?
Winning doesn't ring any bells.
Remember Gallipoli?
Yeah.
It was pretty lackluster, I've got to tell you.
steve bannon
Were you surprised, given all the rumors?
No.
He changed his lawyers out last week?
raheem kassam
No.
Not surprised.
Not surprised.
I have yet to see anybody outside of this room, right?
The people who have come in this room, Matt Gaetz, everyone who's been on these shows with us over the last couple of weeks.
I've yet to see anybody outside of this circle present an argument and a case in a robust, politically savvy, with the ethos, the pathos and the logos all in one.
So did I expect them to do it up there today?
No.
Did they still You know, underwhelmed?
Yeah.
steve bannon
Okay, we've got the receipts and they're going to be here next.
Dr. Peter Navarro, give his assessment.
He's been watching it all day.
Also, a couple of comments about WHO and the Wuhan lab.
Next, War Room Pandemic.
unidentified
War Room Pandemic with Stephen K. Bannon.
The epidemic is a demon and we cannot let this demon hide.
War Room Pandemic.
Here's your host, Stephen K. Bannon.
steve bannon
Okay, everybody in MAGA has got to watch this.
Everybody in this show, you've got to watch it.
I know people say, oh, it's irrelevant.
Hannity and these guys on there, it doesn't matter.
No.
This morning I was on John Furtick's Radio Network and I had these two women who are listeners who came into the studio and they're talking about in rural Georgia every hundred yards another billboard that basically says, turn in your neighbor, you know, lives of others.
It's the new Stasi.
This is about Making sure everybody knows you're a domestic terrorist, okay?
They're gonna throw you in the country club.
Your kid's not gonna be able to go to school.
This is what it's all about.
You must watch this, okay?
Because they're trying to... This is not about Trump.
Jack Posobiec.
jack posobiec
This is not about Trump because it's not the trial of... I've said this before, that Trump's second impeachment is more important than his first.
Yes, it is his name on the docket in It's Not a Real Trial, but it is about you.
This is about MAGA.
This is about all the people of the movement that are being put on trial.
This is about the legacy of the populist movement, whether or not this is allowed to go forward, whether or not people from outside of Washington, D.C.
are actually allowed to have a meaningful say in what goes on Scared.
in their country ever again following a leader a populist upstart as they see him you know sort of a Huey Long kind of figure of Donald Trump.
Instead it's not about that it's about putting you on trial the lives of others.
They want you to be silenced.
They want you shut down.
They want you to never open your voice again.
steve bannon
Rahim Kassam.
raheem kassam
Yeah I totally agree but I want to I want to come back to last year's impeachment.
We sat here, we said the exact same things.
After day one, we said it was terrible, let's hope for better on day two, and it didn't get better on day two.
Whoever these people are, wherever these people have come from, the Leonard Leo crowd and all of that, it's just not good enough.
Because you know what?
Conservative lawyers are the best lawyers in the country.
When you're arguing policy, when you're going out there into state houses, all of that, the law.
But what you're not good at is politics.
I'm sorry, you're just not.
And that's what we're lacking on our side.
You see, the other side, they're only good at theatrics.
They're actually not very good at the law.
steve bannon
So, Peter, you're a filmmaker.
You made these great films about China.
You saw it today.
What is going on here?
You know, the great Jack Posobiec, the naval intelligence officer, said a couple of days ago, this is asymmetric warfare right here.
And today we saw it.
Ladies and gentlemen, don't take it from the war room.
Cassidy of Louisiana.
Last time I looked, I think that's a red state.
He flipped today.
OK, he flipped.
jack posobiec
They don't get redder than Louisiana.
steve bannon
Don't get red in Louisiana.
Dr. Peter Navarro.
unidentified
Looks like we're losing ourselves here.
steve bannon
I want to go back to, how do you lose him?
jack posobiec
Look, Cassidy has yet to come out.
I've seen to explain this, but can you blame him?
Can you blame him at this point?
I don't blame Senator Cassidy because of the showing that was given by those lawyers who came forward and didn't respond.
They didn't even try to respond.
You actually heard Caster at one point saying, oh, we're going to respond.
We're going to have counter arguments.
Do you not get how this works?
They have set the frame.
They went first, they set the frame for the entire thing, and you didn't respond to it at all.
steve bannon
Well, in other words, they didn't play by the marquee of Queensborough's rules.
They start arguing, actually, all the emotion.
These guys, on Constitution Day, and our guys just kept saying- They're blowing you up.
jack posobiec
They're blowing you out of the water, and you don't even know where the lifeboats are.
raheem kassam
You know what's actually really remarkable about this?
jack posobiec
They're sinking, they don't even realize it.
raheem kassam
Didn't all the memesmiths get banned off Twitter for doing exactly what the Democrats did in their case this morning?
Which is, you know, splicing up video and presenting it out of context or in sketchy timelines or whatever.
jack posobiec
Carpe donk?
raheem kassam
Carpe donkdom is no more.
But the impeachment managers can go up in the Senate!
This isn't Twitter!
This is the Senate!
And do exactly the same thing and be absolutely untouched as a result of it.
jack posobiec
That's what's called having cultural hegemony.
raheem kassam
Right.
steve bannon
Let's talk about, we're trying to get Peter Navarro back up, let's talk about that film for a second.
They started with, is it 12 or 15 minutes?
It's a super cut, completely out of joint, out of the thing, with stuff from 15.
I mean it has no basis really in reality.
They've created a reality.
That's the power.
jack posobiec
What this is, is something that James Lindsay talks about, the mathematician, but he calls it a false reality attack.
And in a false reality attack, what they've done is they've taken a narrative and have spliced footage together from different scenes, terrible scenes by the way, from January 6, splicing it together with speeches from that day, speeches from other days, which by the way, they've also anticipated by the way, Raheem Kassam and myself's timeline.
unidentified
Yes.
jack posobiec
They know that we're going to argue the timeline, so they've already said it to make it look as though the attack was happening during the speech, which is actually true, but they go much further because they're showing almost an interplay of when Trump says, we're going to fight, and then they show someone fighting.
raheem kassam
As if he's a general leading in real time.
jack posobiec
Right, or an orchestra conductor, actually.
I mean, the way, the manipulativeness of this video is something, honestly, it goes beyond anything I've ever seen in politics before.
steve bannon
Do we have Peter, can we get Dr. Navarro back up?
Do we have him?
unidentified
I'm on the upload.
Dr. Navarro?
jack posobiec
I can't see my camera.
steve bannon
Oh, wait.
unidentified
Hi, Dr. Navarro?
steve bannon
Can you hear us, sir?
unidentified
Okay, I can't.
steve bannon
Just let's cut it.
I want to get to the point.
What do you mean Lenny Riefenstahl?
This is Triumph of the Will?
raheem kassam
This is just extraordinary.
You know, what they're doing is they're making not just a film out of the events that have already transpired, they're making a film out of reality in real time, right?
Just think about that.
steve bannon
Give me that one more time.
raheem kassam
They are not making a film of what happened and the sequence of events that happened.
They are also making this film that we're living in real time.
They are the directors of it.
They are the editors of it.
They are the distributors of it.
They are full spectrum dominance right now on all of this.
And we are just a spectator.
jack posobiec
This is why when AOC can go out there, you know, we talked about this, they said, hey, this noise that's not signal, why are you focusing on this?
I said, hold on, because she's able to do that because they have achieved full spectrum dominance in the narrative setting since.
So she can go out and claim that rioters were at her door an hour before rioters were actually at the Capitol.
unidentified
Right.
jack posobiec
And in fact, in a situation where rioters never even came to the building that she was in, but because they control this through, I've used this phrase, cultural hegemony, because they control the narrative so fully that she can claim something like that, and then Jake Tapper can go out and say that we were all smearing her.
steve bannon
No, the MAGA smear machine that are covering for the MAGA terrorists, right?
We've got to remember the nomenclature here.
Also, Tapper also takes the thing out of order and makes their defense.
It's just like today, just to do a reset and to make sure everybody knows this is opening day.
Of the President's second impeachment trial.
They argued today about even the constitutionality of doing this.
They went back in history and talked about it, and they really went through the Constitution.
It's supposed to be all day today just on that.
The Democrats in asymmetric warfare started off, as Rahim called it the other day, pure pathos, pure emotion.
Right, I think I was in Politico saying, hey, if you look at their filing, it's an 80 page document, I think 60 pages, it's a television script, has no basis kind of in law, and they came out today with a 12 to 15 minute video, started off with that, everything else was all emotion, and then the President's lawyers came out, and look, they started arguing the Constitution, but the juxtaposition... What did Dershowitz say?
He was not, on Newsmax, I don't want to repeat, but he was not complimenting.
Listen, Newsmax, and I haven't seen this in a while, Caster is arguing, the guy from Pennsylvania that you know, he's arguing, they cut away in the middle of it.
They put Dershowitz on for a live interview and he's sitting there just going, he's going after him.
It's not, you know, he doesn't know the Constitution, boom, the argument's not tight.
I mean, just this type of commentary, you know, in a live where the guy's down there with the sound off.
jack posobiec
Look, I've known Bruce Castor for going back 20 years.
He was my DA in my county in Pennsylvania, right outside Philly.
And I've seen him grandstanding.
I've seen him running for office.
He wanted to be governor for a long time, but the Bruce Castor I saw today was diminished.
He was rambling.
I expected so much more of at least a grandstanding on his part, but what we saw today It wasn't acceptable for a political candidate, it certainly wasn't acceptable for a lawyer, and it absolutely was unacceptable for the defense of this president and this movement.
steve bannon
They put out last night this press release or this statement that really was kowtowing to the Democrats, how we're working together, it was like a group hug.
So not Trump.
And then today, because I've got to bring up one more time, the Ben Sasse comments and the Toomey comments, why are you going out of your way, particularly as As Boris says, they're using the Toomey comment on the most heinous thing out there is that the President was enjoying watching this, which is a total lie.
He's in the side room off the Oval Office and they attribute that to Ben Sasse.
Why do you go out today, on the opening day of this, why are you reaching out to Ben Sasse?
I just don't, it's such a disconnect.
I think for the way the President, the President's always on offense.
What are we doing here?
jack posobiec
Because remember, they have the full spectrum dominance.
So not only do they have the video, but they've got the Washington Post out with this, got Josh Dawsey over there with his full timeline based on some cases of sass, but sass wouldn't come back to comment for the article, by the way.
I noticed that.
But also these anonymous sources saying, the president was giddy, the president was great.
So again, they're already setting the frame.
They've told you that Trump was giddy.
So in your mind, and giddy, what a visual word.
steve bannon
What a terrible word.
jack posobiec
What a visual word that they're using that you can see it, you can almost see the president in that painting a picture in your mind.
They are masters of mental manipulation and that's what we're seeing on full display today.
steve bannon
In fact, on MSNBC and CNN, if you watch it, the solemnity that Brian Williams comes in on and Claire McCaskill saying they're tearing up, the reporters are tearing up, right?
They're like, this is the sacred temple.
This is all optics.
It's all theatrics, right?
But they know how to play that theatrics.
We have to start doing that.
We have to counter it.
Now, here's the thing.
The president's got the hard evidence of the big steal.
I just don't know how you're going to take another two or three days of this without really having a counteroffense.
And the counteroffense next week can't be what we heard today, because there's going to be more of it.
Severability, is it?
Severability and or.
unidentified
And or.
And or.
jack posobiec
Which article in the clause?
It's fine.
steve bannon
Yeah, but by the way, they're technically correct.
They don't understand.
Okay, we're going to go to something important here.
And what we're going to go to is the Wuhan Lab Daily Mail and the WHO.
unidentified
Pandemic with Stephen K. Bannon.
The epidemic is a demon and we cannot let this demon hide.
War Room.
Pandemic.
Here's your host, Stephen K. Bannon.
steve bannon
Okay, on the historic day that we're starting the second impeachment trial of a president, I mean, to blow your mind, I mean, in the closing days of his presidency, impeached again, now for the first time, and they just ruled it's constitutional.
I guess they didn't get the two-thirds vote, so we lost a vote today.
At the day of this, the Daily Mail, the biggest, most important, really, paper in the world, because it covers politics, culture, all that, leads story.
It was a Wuhan whitewash and you would think it was written by guys in the war room.
Now Rahim, you were here when we started the show when we were doing the last impeachment, right?
We bifurcated the two hours and called one of them pandemic as we started off because we knew this massive thing and you remember we talked about on the 14th of January the World Health Organization sent a tweet out No community spread, no human-to-human transmission because the Chinese Communist Party medical officials tell us so, and that basically was the way the world was for the next 60 to 90 days.
How big a deal is it just to have the Daily Mail put, this is the lead story for all the morning, and really come down and sound like they're hard of core than the War Room Faction?
unidentified
Well, if you were to listen this morning to my comments, you'd know.
raheem kassam
No, look, I remember being here, and remember, last time around, they were doing an impeachment while the CCP was covering up its tracks, you know, in Wuhan, and cleansing the wet market, probably because there was nothing there.
jack posobiec
Well, they wanted us looking at that wet market.
raheem kassam
Exactly, and everything else, right?
unidentified
And now, now, The favour is kind of being repaid on the other end.
raheem kassam
Hey, we'll do an impeachment so that it covers up the fact that the WHO, after a year, has finally been allowed some access, we're being told now.
Even they were bemoaning this two months ago, remember.
Finally allowed some access, and within a matter of days, have managed to conclude, oh yes, nothing to do with the... Don't look at...
Please don't look at that lab.
Don't worry about it.
jack posobiec
Right, so explain this to me because I'm trying to put both sides of their argument together.
They told us last week that it's going to take years.
Remember they said this.
They said it's going to take years to determine what the origin of COVID-19 was.
We're never going to be able to figure this out quickly where there's no way you're not going to have an answer in a matter of days.
Then, a matter of days later, they come out and say, it definitely wasn't that spooky lab over there in the middle of Wuhan.
Don't look at that lab because we've already ruled it out.
steve bannon
Run by the PLA with a bioweapons program.
Okay, I want to go to the 2020 Woman of the Year for the War Room and a hero to the American people, a hero to the Chinese people, a hero to everybody throughout the world, the one that gets She left Hong Kong University, which was the reference lab of WHO, to kind of oversee what was happening in Wuhan.
Dr. Li Min Yan.
Dr. Yan, we had to think of you today, given all the reporting.
You're a witness of fact.
You know exactly what went on.
And you've been, I think, Not just the most credible, but the most vocal critic of the World Health Organization and how it's a wholly owned subsidiary of the Chinese Communist Party.
When you saw that today, given all the conversations we've had about their lack of access, everything like that, what went through your mind?
And is this a legitimate report?
Do you believe that this is the truth of what the World Health Organization said?
dr li-meng yan
Sir, if you want me to believe this WHO report, I prefer to believe some bat who can talk in Mandarin.
So, that's all my idea.
I mean, I don't know why China government didn't change some bad to tell it in the TV, CCTV to do the confession.
They definitely can't do it, I bet.
And somehow, anyway, so you know, I have been told, I have told you that what will happen since last year about all these things, Chinese Communist Party plan, and all happened in WHO from 2019 December when they know the truth and later on.
I have been told to all the people that what is happening in the scientific world.
Now, people say the things that they don't believe before.
Also, they will say more because now also to Western people, China government and WHO try to tell you it's from nature.
They try to push people to trace all over the world for the origin of the virus.
But actually, in China, to 1.4 billion Chinese people, China government is brainwashed them, this is bioweapon, and released purposely by US military to China, to Wuhan, and lead to the pandemic.
If you check the Chinese propaganda, you will see all over the world, I mean, mainland China media.
And these are all from our government, actually.
And so that is their next step, to push the world to turn to the U.S., hold the U.S.
accountable.
But hilariously, I have shown in my report that only China, PLA, Army, and WIV have a real backbone to fight coronavirus, for COVID-19 virus.
steve bannon
Dr. Yan, let me ask you, everybody in this audience has been affected by this virus.
Their jobs are gone, they've eaten through their savings, they can't do their cultural things, their kids are not in school, they're not going to football games, they're not enjoying life.
Everybody, as you can tell, is getting angrier and angrier every day throughout the entire rest of the world.
Just the difference, and WHO is saying it came from some sort of animal in the wet market or in a bat cave or whatever.
Versus being a gain-of-function experiment and being artificially made in the Wuhan lab.
How big a difference and how big a deal to people's personal lives is that lie going to be as it gets promulgated through the research profession and through the medical community?
dr li-meng yan
So if you want to know the difference between the two theories, right?
steve bannon
Yes, and how that impacts how vaccines and everything coming forward.
dr li-meng yan
Yeah, so that is, because this virus, as I've shown, is lab-modified, so different functions are purposely recruited into the genome and behave to be harmful to humans, to attack us.
As what I've shown, they attack your ACE2 receptor better than any other species in the world.
And also, like another feron cleavage site, which can enhance this function.
And there are still more functions that are recruited by Chinese military labs and also WIV and their collaborators into this virus, which means this virus can be, I mean, which leads to the virus can be more harmful than SARS and other virus to people. They have a lot of potential harm and also later on secondary disaster to the world. So if we don't know this, we don't know what they hide inside,
we don't ask them to give the secret out. We cannot trace the secret to the right direction and the virus, the vaccines, the drug development will all go to some different side and still we cannot solve this problem.
And also I have to tell people that if you believe this has come from nature, that means you ignore the very big possibility that in the PLLF there will be more pathogens come out later because once they went This time, they will use this way to treat you next time when they want.
steve bannon
Last question, Dr. Yan, for our audience out there.
This looks so terrible, the WHO's coming out and saying this.
Now the whole world that supports the CCP, the scientific community that's been bought off, is going to pile up on this and say, Dr. Yan's crazy, Bannon's crazy, these are all these crazy people out there, this came from a bat.
How can you combat this?
I know you're putting out your reports, there's others joining you all the time, prominent scientists, but how do you really reverse this?
dr li-meng yan
Okay, I actually from beginning I told people I welcome the open debate, like the president election debate in any platform in the world, any media.
And I want to talk and debate with the scientists who thought it come from nature, who joined the WHO team like Peter Dazak, Dr. Peter Dazak, and other team members, even 10 of them together, come to talk to me, debate with me, show their evidence.
I tell you my evidence.
Tell me what you know about China.
I tell you what I know about China, about WHO reference lab, about WHO, this kind of collaboration, about things behind China military labs and WIV and the proof.
Manik Peries in the University of Hong Kong, the biggest guy of virus in the world.
We talk, we share our information and share our evidence, say lots of people to say, Dr. Yan, how can people follow you?
How can people get your reports?
and the people can choose to believe who.
I really strongly, I mean, welcome Dr. Peter Dazak, Shi Zhengli, and also China Military Lab, those kind of leaders, other radiologists come to me.
Let's talk in public, in a live way, show to the world.
steve bannon
Dr. Yan, how can people follow you?
How can people get your reports?
How can they follow you on social media?
dr li-meng yan
Okay, so actually my Gap account has some problem now, So people better to follow me from Twitter, Dr. Li Meng Yan.
I have over 70,000 followers, also always reduced by tweet.
And also I update a lot of information to reveal these things behind to the world.
Dr. Li Meng Yan.
steve bannon
Dr. Yan, I want everybody listening today, we're going to put it in the live chat.
I want everybody to go and become a Twitter follower.
She's putting out great information all day long.
You're a hero to the Chinese people, to the American people, and to all mankind.
Dr. Yan, thank you very much for joining us.
dr li-meng yan
Thank you, sir.
steve bannon
Posobiec, you're a military intelligence officer.
You speak perfect Mandarin.
You've been, you're deep in this.
You've lived in China.
How outrageous is it that WHO, given their track record in this situation, shows up a year later and over a couple days then issues this interim report but just kind of without really giving us the ton of evidence you need and what everything they looked at?
jack posobiec
Well, I'd just like to say thank you to our illustrious President Biden for rejoining the WHO, for bringing the United States back into the fold.
Dr. Fauci and his wonderful sit-down, you know, Skype interview with Tedros.
It really made me feel so safe and confident in our government that they're really going to stand up for the American people.
Look, folks, we now have A controlled opposition government.
steve bannon
What do you mean by that?
jack posobiec
What I mean by that is this is the neoliberal establishment telling you that we will not fight back against the CCP, against their narratives.
They will be able to say whatever they want.
They can put their talking points down in front of our officials and they will be repeated like marionettes.
This is the exact line of the CCP.
They've been saying this for weeks at this point.
The WHO comes up and not a single word was different than what the CCP had been saying the entire time.
steve bannon
By the way, Dr. Tedros was announced, what, two days ago, is going to give the commencement address at Harvard University's, I think, the School of Public Health.
jack posobiec
Oh, stunning and brave.
steve bannon
I mean, it's unbelievable.
This is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Chinese Communist Party.
They put out, I mean, think of how many lives Rahim Ghassan could have been saved if they had just done their duty back on January 12th and 14th of 2020.
raheem kassam
Did a whole thing on Fauci this morning given the fact that he's now saying hey we're going to need 70 to 80 percent of vaccinations to get you know 70 to 80 percent efficacy and then somewhere towards the end of this year we'll start thinking about masks getting removed and you know this was the Fauci that told us originally hey you don't need masks they don't really do anything
And again, it comes back to what we were talking about yesterday evening here, what we talked about this morning, Jack, which was these are the guys who are supposed to be the contingency planners, the highest paid apparatchiks.
And I know for the audience, you might be bored of me saying this over and over again, but I'm saying it because I need you repeating it out there to people.
These are the highest paid people in your government who Didn't make any contingency plans, and by the way, when this was all kicking off, did the cover-up, did the impeachment, said it was xenophobic to close the borders, and here we are, being told that our lives may never return to normal.
If only, if only, Dr. Li Mingyan was Dr. Anthony Fauci, we wouldn't be in this situation.
steve bannon
And that's what, even, we have to have a forcing function, I think, to get these debates out there, because right now they're talking about this thing could last another seven years.
When they talk about 75 to 80 percent vaccinations, and Brett Baier didn't stop him.
It's supposed to be, it's supposed to be herd immunity, not the vaccination rate.
Okay, we're taking a short commercial break.
unidentified
break back with the team in a second.
Pandemic.
With Stephen K. Banham.
The epidemic is a demon, and we cannot let this demon hide.
War Room.
Pandemic.
Here's your host, Stephen K. Bannon.
steve bannon
Some of the comments, and one of the comments saying they're going to another site, seeing hundreds of people saying it's a joke, it's a piece of blank, waste of time, etc.
They say, no, you're just dead wrong.
They picked up another vote in the Senate today.
How can you say that?
raheem kassam
Right.
steve bannon
And you don't see what's seeping into the American people's minds.
You're gonna see when the polling comes out, You've drank the Kool-Aid, everybody's up there, this is all the Lindsey Graham, oh it's a waste of time, don't pay attention, why the President and actually you get eviscerated.
You don't think so?
Look at those billboards down in rural Georgia, all over the South.
Sitting up there saying, hey, see something, say something, and that is about you.
The MAGA movement, this is the predicate they're going to use to start pushing a domestic terrorism bill.
You've got to connect dots.
This whole thing, oh, it's a waste of time.
No, you're being spoon-fed by guys giving you Republican Party talking points.
And they don't care if Trump gets eviscerated.
Quite frankly, they don't care if you get eviscerated.
They want to purge this movement of people like Trump.
MSNBC right now has that 12-minute thing on a loop.
They're going to play it over and over and over and over again.
Wash, rinse, repeat.
Wash, rinse, repeat.
You do not understand information and psychological warfare.
That is what's going on here.
And you sit there and dismiss the Democrats.
Look.
Don't ever think your enemy is dumb.
That's one of the reasons the people on the right lose all the time.
Okay?
You sit there, oh they're stupid, they're idiots.
No, they're not.
I don't agree with their policies and a lot of these are bad people.
But they're not dumb.
They're cunning.
Cunning like vipers.
Okay?
This thing today.
Actually, Castro goes, oh we changed our theme because the opening presentation was so good they were back on their heels.
If you don't watch it, I didn't say you had to agree with it, but you have to watch it to see what they're trying to do, to see how they're going to frame the MAGA movement.
They're going to basically say at the end of three days is that, hey, guess what?
Trump lost the election in a landslide.
He lost the election by 8 million votes in a landslide, and then the dangerous domestic terrorist rubes that are around him, he lied to them, and they're so stupid, they believed it, and then came up and did violent insurrection, which has never been accused of any president of the United States.
So, keep saying it's a waste of time.
Keep being spoon-fed.
The talking points, you're being spoon-fed.
No, Sean Hannity and these guys are just dead wrong about this.
And you can see today from the Lindsey Graham strategy, it's not working and it's not going to work.
The best stuff you saw they had today.
They got nothing else to talk about.
You know why?
Because they're not going to talk about the big lie.
Ooh, 15 guys can vote against this.
Well, call their bluff!
President Trump had a, there is massive evidence out there to present, it must be presented, and I just pray that the President's heart is open enough to watch today and to see what they're doing to his followers, to see what they're doing to his legacy, and most importantly, see what they're trying to do going forward.
They understand the votes that convict him.
It's never been about the votes that convict him.
What they're trying to do is convict him on an emotional charge in the eyes of the American people and therefore purge him from American politics.
We cannot allow that to happen, Mr. Rahim Ghassan.
raheem kassam
So in amongst all of this, I did want to bring some of the news that I discovered in digging through some of the comments that were made today, and I noticed that Jonathan Turley, of course, has been this kind of... I don't even know really where Jonathan Turley comes from on all of this, but they say conservative-leaning, right, Jonathan Turley?
They say he's conservative-leaning.
steve bannon
He's not really a Trump guy.
raheem kassam
He's not a Trump guy.
steve bannon
No, he's not a Trump fan at all.
raheem kassam
Right, right.
But I'm just trying to be fair in the news in all of this.
So, I noticed a tweet from him where he specifically mentioned something that Congressman Neguse had said.
He said, Congressman Neguse cited my Duke piece and said that I was an advocate until just a couple of weeks ago for retroactive trials.
I appreciate the citations, but it is not true.
That article was 21 years ago.
Now I know it sounds like I'm kind of picking you know little little holes in here but that it kind of goes to the very basis of what we heard today and if Senator Bill Cassidy was actually trying to get the signal and not the pathos out of the Democrats argument he may not have flipped his vote.
Because effectively what Congressman Neguse said is that you should vote for this thing being constitutional because Jonathan Turley, a conservative-leaning lawyer, says it's constitutional.
And Turley comes out and he actually says, hey, yes, I wrote that 21 years ago.
My views have actually changed quite significantly on that and changed a long time ago, by the way.
And he said, if you're going to hold me to arguments I made 21 years ago, please also post pictures of me from 21 years ago.
So I decided to go in and actually look at where this claim came from.
And it actually came from Lawrence Tribe on CNN making the claim that Turley believed this now because Lawrence Tribe had incorrectly read a Turley article from 21 years ago and thought it was contemporaneous.
And so, remember, Media matters, Matthew Gertz over there, they love going through President Trump's comments and tweets and statements and going, hey he just watched Fox News and repeated what Fox News said.
Well let me tell you something, one of the Democrat impeachment managers today just watched CNN and took a claim right off CNN and it hits right at the heart of the credibility of their entire basis for this being constitutional.
steve bannon
Posobiec, they're running this emotional video and everybody ought to watch it.
Totally out of sequence, totally chopped up.
They're running it in a loop on MSNBC and CNN.
How powerful is that going to have about low-information voters that really don't follow the war room, that don't go to conservative sites?
jack posobiec
Look, the mid-information voters are being presented one narrative.
They're going to accept that narrative because there's no other narrative being put forward.
There's no other argument being put forward right now.
Essentially, their counter-argument was, well, you're not allowed to make that argument, right?
What kind of a response is that?
Look, go back to the first instance.
In the first instance, January 6th, how can we prove, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that the President did not incite a riot?
I can do that very quickly.
Because President Trump wanted Congress to show the receipts on January 6th.
And it was the riot that prevented that.
We keep talking around this point, but I really think we need to go back to it.
He wanted them to show the receipts in the well of the Senate at that joint session.
That was the entire strategy going forward.
It was the riot that prevented that.
It prevented the showing of the receipts.
And now, because of this feckless strategy, of arguing procedure, you are also not showing the receipts today, a month later.
unidentified
Okay, tomorrow podcast your podcast has just gone up.
raheem kassam
It's all about this Jonathan Turley thing in depth.
Please go look at it.
The national pulse.com forward slash podcast.
steve bannon
Okay, we'll be back here tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock and they start another they start eight hours tomorrow.
They had four hours a day right eight hours tomorrow.
jack posobiec
Eight hours tomorrow, starts at noon.
steve bannon
Okay, we're gonna start eight hours tomorrow, I think eight hours on Thursday, I think another, at least four, maybe eight on Friday, but the prosecution goes tomorrow.
Okay, we'll be here in the morning, ten o'clock, before it starts at noon, and then we'll be back, I guess, in the beginning of the second half.
