Did Biden FREEZE Again?!

Well, folks, something is fascinating about the 2024 election.
Right now, if you look at the polling data, something unique is happening in modern American history.
The unique thing is that Republicans are now breaking into the low-likelihood voter camp.
So, typically speaking, when it comes to elections, the basic logic has been this.
Democrats win in high-turnout elections.
Republicans win in low-turnout elections.
This has been the theory behind why Republicans seem to outperform during midterm elections 2022, being an exception to that particular rule.
In 2016, there was low voter turnout, and Donald Trump won.
In 2020, there was very, very high voter turnout, and Joe Biden won.
In 2024, something unique is happening.
According to the New York Times, a new electoral divide has emerged in America.
This divide is not rooted in race, geography, age, or education.
Instead, it is engagement in democracy itself.
If you look at representation of all 200 million registered voters in the United States, what you see is that people who voted in the 2022 primary election are favoring Joe Biden in this election by a margin about 5%, 49 to 44.
When you look at people who voted, however, in the 2020 election, Donald Trump is leading.
And if you look at people who didn't vote at all in any of those elections, 2020 or 2022, Donald Trump is leading by 14 percentage points.
What this means is that if everyone voted among those 200 million registered voters, Trump would win.
It is not Biden who would win.
As Nate Cohn writes, in a reversal of one of the most familiar patterns in American politics, it appears that Donald Trump, not President Biden, would stand to gain if everyone in the country turned out and voted.
The pattern is the latest example of how the Trump brand of conservative populism has transformed American politics.
His candidacy galvanized liberals to defend democracy and abortion rights, giving Democrats the edge in low-turnout special and midterm elections.
But at the same time, early polls suggest, many less engaged and infrequent voters have grown deeply dissatisfied with Biden.
So is that about Trump?
Or is that about dissatisfaction with Biden?
I would suggest that that is about wild dissatisfaction with Joe Biden.
A poll today suggests that Donald Trump is now leading in, wait for it, Minnesota.
Minnesota by two points.
That is not a state that should be on the map for Donald Trump.
He is currently winning well outside the margin of error in Nevada, which he lost in 2020.
In other words, so many people are disillusioned with Joe Biden that he is losing even among voters who tend to be those low propensity voters.
This is a massive problem for him.
And so now he's going back to the well.
He's going back to the celebrity backers.
That's what he needs more than anything.
According to the Wall Street Journal, George Clooney and Julia Roberts headlined a Hollywood fundraiser Saturday and helped President Biden raise $30 million.
Robert De Niro narrated a campaign ad.
Mark Hamill dropped by the White House.
Now, one thing that you will notice about all of those people is that none of them are particularly young celebrities.
George Clooney, who you might think of as young, is 63 years old.
He is not a spring chicken at this point.
Julia Roberts is currently 56 years old.
These are not the celebrities who are going to get people out to the polls, if in fact celebrities do get people out to the polls.
Mark Hamill is of course quite old, and Robert De Niro is as old as Joe Biden is at this point.
So they're gonna try to drive the celebrities out.
As Axios points out, Hollywood stars could be the key to Biden's campaign.
Now, here's the thing.
In 2016, Hillary Clinton tried this strategy.
If you recall, the most cringe video of 2016, it was a bunch of Hollywood actors and actresses singing fight song at the DNC.
And it just made you wanna crawl up in a hole and die.
It was that cringy.
Well, now that is what Joe Biden is doing.
By the way, this also explains why Joe Biden has been pandering to Amal Clooney, who is George Clooney's wife, because George Clooney, I mean, that's just a pure payoff.
Amal Clooney was the person who helped write a wildly anti-Israel, ICC, International Criminal Court report that targeted the prime minister of the state of Israel.
And the Biden administration signaled that they were fine with sanctions being put on members of the ICC by the American government.
And then Biden reversed himself after George gave a phone call to the White House complaining on behalf of his wife Amal, and now George is leading fundraisers on behalf of Joe Biden.

Like those of Biden's campaign extravaganza at the Peacock Theater could be his secret
weapon against former President Trump.

The secret weapon is going to be the celebs.
I have to say my favorite story with regard to celebrity support for President Biden came
courtesy of the New York Times.
This is really quite hilarious.
According to the New York Times, Jeffrey Katzenberg, who's of course a big Hollywood star, Katzenberg has been called in as sort of an emergency narrative generator on behalf of Joe Biden, because of course he's lost the narrative in this election cycle.
And here is what Jeffrey Katzenberg then told Joe Biden, according to the New York Times.
Quote, if Mr. Trump is Scar from the Lion King, Mr. Katzenberg sees Mr. Biden as Mufasa, the wise father king.
Then the New York Times adds, it may not be the best analogy.
Scar kills Mufasa in a coup to take over the Pride Lands and it falls to Mufasa's son Simba to seek justice and topple the usurper.
The problem is that Hunter Biden slash Simba is in jail or will be in jail very soon for not being able to stay off the crack.
So I think that the story sort of breaks down here.
But the bottom line here is that Trump is now more widely popular with the American populace than Joe Biden by the New York Times data, which means that the Trump campaign has to put enormous effort into getting out the vote and obviously into shutting down voter fraud.
And they are pledging to do both of these things.

Okay, so he has to do the on-the-ground work.
This has been the biggest obstacle to the possibility of a Trump victory.
I've been saying this since the beginning of the election cycle.
The biggest obstacles to Donald Trump winning are, one, Donald Trump saying things, as we'll get to in a moment, because the debate is coming up, and two, Donald Trump's ground game.
Democrats are gonna have their ground game.
It's gonna be ready to go.
They've had an excellent ground game for as long as I have been alive, and it's gotten better and better.
Their ground game is truly spectacular.
Republican Party ground game has been very weak, except in states like Florida.
So, Trump had better be expending the resources.
The Trump campaign had better be expending the resources.
Hell, I'm a donor.
I'm hoping they're expending my resources in order to get out to vote in November.
So that is one half of the equation.
The other half of the equation is that it's one thing for Donald Trump to complain about the possibility of voter fraud.
That possibility is quite real.
I mean, according to the New York Post, welfare offices and other agencies in 49 states are providing voter registration forms to migrants without requiring proof of citizenship.
leading Republicans and conservatives to call for swift federal action to stop the handouts.
Every state but Arizona gives applicants for either welfare benefits, driver's licenses,
or in some cases, mail-in ballots, voter registration forms, without demanding proof
of citizenship. Now again, how many of those ballots end up being turned in and signed by
illegal immigrants? Probably very few.
And there are processes, supposedly, for weeding out those ballots.
With that said, Republicans are going to start moving on the federal level to bar this sort of practice.
The House Administration Committee last month approved the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act to require states to receive a proof of citizenship when anyone registers to vote by mail, at a DMV, or at a welfare agency office.
Now, why Democrats would oppose this is absolutely beyond me.
Unless they are very, very much fine with the possibility of people not actually showing ID to vote, which suggests they are fine with the possibility of voter fraud.
Lara Trump, who is the daughter-in-law of President Trump and who recently took over as head of the RNC, she says we're going to crack down on those who commit voter fraud and she's pledging an army of attorneys to prevent voter fraud.
Here she was at TPUSA over the weekend.
Also sending a loud and clear message out there to anyone who thinks about cheating in an election.
If you cheat in an election, we will find you, we will track you down, and we will prosecute you to the full extent of the law.
So here's the thing.
The excuses are gone.
That means that this election is Donald Trump's to lose.
He is the one who runs the RNC.
His daughter-in-law runs the RNC.
He has a massive campaign.
He has millions of dollars in the war chest.
That means there's no excuse for not getting out the vote for Republicans in the swing states, and there's also no excuse for not having an army of lawyers at the polling places to ensure that every legal vote is counted.
So, that's problem number one that theoretically the Trump campaign should solve.
And then there's problem number two.
The debate is coming up.
The rules for the debate have apparently now been set.
According to CNN, with less than two weeks until the first presidential debate of the 2024 election cycle, CNN has released additional details on the parameters agreed upon by the Trump and Biden campaigns.
Now again, this whole thing has been stacked by the Biden campaign from the outset.
When they offered debates on CNN and ABC, and immediately they had the dates and the moderators all lined up, that means it was preset with those networks before Joe Biden even issued the challenge.
Donald Trump, because sort of like Marty McFly in Back to the Future 2, he doesn't want to appear chicken, instead of saying, listen, let's settle on what those debates look like before simply accepting, instead, he simply accepted the debate.
And that is going to put him at a systemic disadvantage because, of course, the moderators in these debates are going to be wildly biased against Donald Trump.
The first debate will be hosted by Jake Tapper and Dana Bash, both of whom clearly do not want Donald Trump to be president and both of whom obviously also believe that Donald Trump is a threat to democracy, which means the entire debate, if they have their druthers, is going to be about January 6th and election 2020.
This is the single greatest threat to Donald Trump retaining the presidency in this election cycle.
If Donald Trump falls for that trap, that is the biggest mistake he can make.
He needs to have a swift and a quick comeback line.
If they say, you know, Mr. President, you tried to lead an insurrection on January 6th.
You can say, listen, Jake, I disagree with your characterization of what happened on January 6th, but let's point something out.
January 6th happened in 2020.
The year is now 2024.
And there's one thing the American people know.
That thing is, they saw me as president and they saw Joe Biden as president.
Their lives under me were much better than they are under Joe Biden because everyone knows Joe Biden is a terrible president.
He needs to keep shifting fire back to Biden.
Instead of getting defensive, instead of talking about election 2020, which he is wont to do because President Trump loves talking about what he believes was a rigged election in 2020.
And in some ways, he's right.
Obviously, the media were very, very motivated to lie during the election cycle, the hiding of the Hunter Biden laptop story, the changing of all the voting.
Like, all of that's true.
But talking about that stuff is not going to win him votes.
The thing that is going to win Donald Trump votes in the debate is focusing in on Joe Biden's actual record.
We'll get to more on this in a moment.

The debate is only 90 minutes and now, apparently, it's going to include two commercial breaks.
That is the first time presidential debates have included commercial breaks.
Trump should have just said no.
He should have said I'm not doing the debate if there are commercial breaks.
Because Donald Trump has the stamina to stand there for 90 minutes.
Does Joe Biden?
Both candidates agreed to appear at a uniform podium.
Microphones will be muted throughout the debate except for the candidate whose turn it is to speak.
No props or pre-written notes will be allowed on the stage.
Candidates will be given a pen, a pad of paper, and a bottle of water.
There will be no studio audience either.
So in other words, CNN is rigging this thing as much as it can in favor of Joe Biden.
No studio audience.
The studio audience would certainly be much more prone to support Donald Trump because half the Democratic Party is angry at Joe Biden.
Muting the microphones is going to prevent the sort of thing where Donald Trump can jump in and get in a one-liner like he did with Hillary Clinton.
Where she was talking about how terrible things would be if Donald Trump was president.
He said, if I were president, you'd be in jail.
Donald Trump does have the ability for both good and evil to throw a quip in there.
He's not gonna be able to do that because he is going to be muted.
In order to meet CNN's qualifications for the debates, candidates must satisfy the requirements to serve as president, but also you have to appear on a sufficient number of state ballots to reach the 270 electoral vote threshold to win the presidency.
You also have to receive at least 15% in four separate national polls of registered or likely voters that meet CNN's standards for reporting.
It's not impossible for Robert F. Kennedy to theoretically make the debate.
He's received at least 15% in three of the qualifying polls so far, but he's only on the ballot in six states.
He's only eligible for 89 electoral votes.
So it's possible RFK could theoretically sneak on the stage.
The bottom line though here is that when it comes to the debate, the biggest threat for Donald Trump is talking about January 6th and 2020 endlessly.
And then there's the other big threat in the debate.
And that is the threat that's happening right now in real time.
That is the lowering of the debate bar.
So right now, if Donald Trump is smart, what he should do is he should say, listen, we can all see that Joe Biden is ailing.
We can all see that he's really old and he's falling apart.
With that said, the State of the Union Address proves that you can shoot that guy up with whatever you need to do to get him to be mildly alive.
Mostly dead, I love the Princess Bride, is still a little alive.
Alive enough to stand there for around 90 minutes.
This debate is not going to be about Joe Biden's mental capacity.
This debate is going to be about Joe Biden as President of the United States and his terrible record on everything from the economy, to the border, to foreign policy.
And he should set up that expectation in advance.
He should be saying, right now, everybody's talking about Joe Biden freezing up and ailing and all of that, and that's all true.
But, they're gonna jab him full of something, and he will be lively and sprightly and angry Joe.
And it's my job to simply point out what a bad president he has been.
You should be saying that from now, for the next 10 days, up until the election.
Because otherwise, what's happening right now is good for the Trump campaign generally, which is the widespread perception that Joe Biden is not mentally competent to be President of the United States.
But it's very bad for the debate, because if Joe Biden even shows up and doesn't die, then he wins.
That's how low the bar is right now.
If Joe Biden is simply breathing, if he has a pulse, By the end of the debate, if he has not soiled himself on stage, then he will be deemed a sprightly elderly winner of the debate by the media.
So that is the double-edged sword that is inherent in Joe Biden's physical precariousness.
Now, with that said, Joe Biden had a very, very rough week in terms of physical precariousness.
So a clip that went viral over the weekend is at this aforementioned fundraiser held by George Clooney and Barack Obama and Jimmy Kimmel.
By the way, I remember a time when the networks would not allow their comedy hosts to involve themselves in these sorts of things, but obviously we're long past that.
Jimmy Kimmel is just a prop for the White House at this point.
At the very end of this event, Joe Biden is doing this weird thing that all these candidates do where they walk around the stage clapping for themselves, which I don't really understand, and they clap to the crowd and all this, and he freezes up.
He appears to freeze up near the end of this to the extent that Barack Obama has to physically take his hand and then start to lead him off the stage.
He grabs him around the back to guide him as though they're best buddies, even though in truth, Barack really cannot stand Joe Biden and never could.
Here's what that looked like.
Okay, so right now he's still okay, but then there he is, he freezes.
Right, he's just staring out into the audience.
Jimmy Kimmel's trying to pop him, but it's obviously awkward.
And then Barack reaches over and he grabs his hand and he starts to, and he like reminds him
where they're supposed to go.
And then Joe Biden, who barely can walk.
I mean, Barack Obama still walks like a normal person because Barack Obama is 20 years younger than Joe Biden.
But Joe Biden then staggers off the stage being guarded by his ex-president night nurse back to the early bird dinner at the old age home.
So it's a bad look, obviously.
And that's the full tape.
I mean, what we showed you there is the full tape.
And as I said right before that, he was waving to the crowd, but then he sort of freezes up.
Now, this became subject of an enormous number of blowback fact checks from the left-wing media, who declared at the behest of the White House that actually, actually, everything was fine.
How dare you suggest that he froze up?
According to Andrew Bates, who's the White House Senior Deputy Press Secretary and bootlicker, quote, Now again, they're using the term fake completely mistakenly here.
The clips that we show on the show are actual real footage.
What they are claiming is that they are cut too narrowly to make it look as though Joe Biden is freezing up.
The problem, of course, is that people can see with their eyes the President of the United States, that he is diminished in capacity.
But Andrew Bates says, fresh off being fact-checked by at least six mainstream
outlets for lying about the president with cheap fakes, Rupert Murdoch's sad little super PAC,
the New York Post, is back to disrespecting its readers with an apostrophe in its wrong. And once again,
and itself once again, their ethical standards could deal with a little unfreezing. Okay,
my dude.
Let me explain.
The thing about the clip that makes it so awkward is that Barack Obama clearly perceives that Joe Biden has frozen.
That's what's weird about the clip.
It's not just that Joe Biden freezes.
It's that Barack Obama so clearly perceives that he has frozen that he reaches over, as you or I would do with a grandparent, And takes the President of the United States by the hand in order to get his attention and turn him.
And here's the problem.
This is like the second time this happened this weekend.
We'll get some more on this in one moment.
First, you know what's stupid?
Anybody suggesting that Joe Biden is totally with it these days.
That's really, really stupid.

So he was at the G7 and there was some sort of parachutist reenactment because it was surrounding Normandy and all of this.
And Joe Biden, you can see all the other G7 leaders are standing there and they're watching the parachutist in front of them.
Joe Biden is somehow distracted, apparently, by a parachutist who's off to the side.
And so he starts randomly talking to the parachutist off to the side.
And, like, what's he doing?
It's so bad that the head of the EU Has to turn to him, Ursula von der Leyen, and literally redirect him.
She's like wandering off and talking to this guy who's just packing up his parachute.
So good.
George Maloney, who's the head of Italy, literally has to walk over and tell Joe Biden that they're about to take a picture.
You can play the whole clip from the beginning.
Here we go.
So, there they are, they're all clapping for the parachutist who's right in front of them.
Joe Biden sees another parachutist who's, like, packing up his gear, and he starts wandering off-screen to go and find this other parachutist and talk to him.
The parachutist, for what it's worth, literally doesn't even know that Joe Biden is there.
He's just there, packing up his parachute back into his bag, and Joe Biden starts, like, randomly mumbling to him.
And George Maloney Who's the only relatively popular leader in the G7, maybe the only good leader there.
She literally has to go to Joe Biden, find him, turn him around back toward the camera, and then Joe Biden slowly slides on those sunglasses so he looks like Dark Brandon or whatever the stupid meme is that they're trying to do.
Herein lies the problem.
We can all see it.
And if that wasn't enough for you, over the weekend, he was confronted by some sort of Instagrammer or YouTuber at a White House event.
And I know you're a typical press guy.
You're grabbing me in front of this all of a sudden.
And I trust you as far as I throw your phone.
I have a good arm, man.
Absolutely.
I can throw it a long way.
But my point is this.
That doesn't make sense.
My point is, long pause.
I have made very clear to the Israelis.
And then he threatens the Israelis, of course, because in the middle of a conflict between Israel and Hamas, we know this president has to have the Dearborn vote, so he threatens the Israelis.
This is his shtick right now.
Are the U.S.
going to cut off funding?
I can't because usually you tell me I have a nice suit and you didn't comment on my suit today, so I don't feel... No, no, no, no, no.
He says that they'll do a lot if Israel doesn't listen to them.
But, like, first of all, just mentally incompetent.
Not with it.
It doesn't even... Let me just point out, it doesn't make any sense what he is saying.
He literally says to the guy, I can trust you as far as I can throw your phone.
And I can throw your phone a long way, because I'm a... I got a real arm.
I used to play baseball for the St.
Louis Browns back in the day.
Well, if you can throw the phone a really long way, that means you trust him a lot.
You idiot.
But again, this is like, he is not with it.
And that is why every attempt to paint him as something that is not a broken toy at this point is just hilarious.
It's just none of it makes any sense.
You got Mark Cuban out there trying to defend him by attacking Bill Ackman.
He says that he's so consumed with pandering to his Twitter followers, you have lost all objectivity.
I'll let you in both in on a secret.
Both candidates are old.
Very old.
They're both going to have senior moments, misremembers, forget things, and have physical frailties.
I'll tell you a not-so-great secret.
One is great at soundbites, but also thinks in soundbites.
The other is awful at soundbites, but thinks in complete sentences.
First of all, Joe Biden doesn't think in complete sentences, unless you count sentences like, I like pie.
That is technically a complete sentence, but that is as far as his thoughts go.
Secondarily, the real problem with Joe Biden's presidency is not his incompetence.
I've mentioned this before.
His mental incompetence is simply the icing on the cake of his actual incompetence.
He is a terrible president who also happens to be non-compos mentis.
He happens to have dementia, and that is the icing on the cake of him being unbelievably crappy at his actual job.
But they're gonna continue to, like, they don't have any other options.
As we'll see in a moment, Kamala Harris is still wandering around, speaking in weird crystal platitudes.
Here's Jill Biden attempting to Edith Wilson this one.
Here she is suggesting that Joe is not just effective, he's the most effective because he's old.
It's because of his, you should appreciate his age.
Because with his age comes wisdom.
Here's Jill Biden desperately attempting to prop El Cid on this horse.
This election is most certainly not about age.
Joe and that other guy are essentially the same age.
Let's not be fooled.
Joe isn't one of the most effective presidents of our lives in spite of his age, but because of it.
Oh, it's because he's an old codger who can't keep it together for more than five minutes and has to have a bunch of quick cuts and short videos that he makes for TikTok.
It's because of that he is so effective, says actual President Jill Biden.

So they have to come up with an alternative.
So their alternative is not that Joe Biden isn't old.
Okay, now they're like, yeah, he's old, but he's the most competent.

They're like, well, he's old.
And they're taking him out of context.
He's really sprightly.
And everyone's like, no, no, no.
So they're new.
The new fresh line from the Democratic Party is that Donald Trump is old and broken.
That is the new line.
So Donald Trump had a 78th birthday over the weekend.
Here was the MSNBC headline on Donald Trump's birthday.
Quote, could not keep a straight thought.
Trump turned 78 amid concerns about mental fitness.
That's MSNBC's line.
Really, guys?
You're going with this one.
You're going with this one.
That Donald Trump is the one who's suffering from early-stage to mid-stage dementia.
That's what you're going with.
Okay, then.
Okay, as evidence, they're bringing the fact that Donald Trump tells weird stories.
Now, the difference between Donald Trump telling weird stories and Joe Biden telling weird stories is there is no discernible difference in Donald Trump's behavior from 2016 to 2024.
None.
I've met the president of the United States.
He is indeed eight years older than he was in 2016, because that's how calendars work.
However, Donald Trump is the same exact Donald Trump that he was in 2016.
I've been in a room with him.
You have seen it.
Forget about what I've seen.
You have seen him.
You have watched long tapes of him.
We have played long clips of him.
And so instead, what they're doing is they're now attempting to pretend that he and Joe Biden are equally senile, which is just ridiculous.
Donald Trump is wild and eccentric and says crazy stuff.
And that's who he is.
There is no diminishment in Donald Trump's capacity.
Like, seriously, show me.
I want to see the evidence that he was, like, way different in 2016.
Seriously, where is it?
I can show you a tape, back-to-back, of Joe Biden 2016 and 2024, and a tape of Donald Trump 2016 and 2024.
And you can see the difference in Biden, and you can't really see the difference in Trump.
So, here's one of the clips that they were trying to pump out there.
It was a rant of Donald Trump talking about sharks.
Now, again, this is really funny and weird, and I don't know what the hell he's talking about.
But also, half the time when he was president, he would say funny, weird things, and I didn't know what the hell he was talking about.
And this is, like, pretty classic Donald Trump, which is the point.
What people are looking at when it comes to Trump is the lack of a delta, the lack of a change between 2016 and 2024.
They're not looking at what he is saying now and going, well, you know, before he was Demosthenes and spoken clear, concise philosophy.
He was Aristotelian in his thinking.
But now he's diminished to telling stories about sharks.
It was Donald Trump told stories about sharks in 2016, and he tells weird stories about sharks in 2024.
So here he is telling a weird story about a shark.
I say what would happen if the boat sank from its weight and you're in the boat and you have this tremendously powerful battery and the battery is now underwater and there's a shark that's approximately 10 yards over there By the way, a lot of shark attacks lately.
Do you notice that?
A lot of sharks.
I watched some guys justifying it today.
Well, they weren't really that angry.
They bit off the young lady's leg because of the fact that they were not hungry, but they misunderstood who she was.
These people are crazy.
He said, there's no problem with sharks.
They just didn't really understand a young woman swimming now who really got decimated, and other people too.
A lot of shark attacks.
So I said, so there's a shark 10 yards away from the boat.
10 yards.
Do I get electrocuted if the boat is sinking, water goes over the battery, the boat is sinking?
Do I stay on top of the boat and get electrocuted?
Or do I jump over by the shark and not get electrocuted?
Because I will tell you, he didn't know the answer.
He said, you know, nobody's ever asked me that question.
I said, I think it's a good question.
I think there's a lot of electric current coming through that water.
But you know what I'd do if there was a shark?
Or you get electrocuted?
I'll take electrocution every single time.
I'm not getting near the shark.
So we're gonna end that.
We're gonna end it for boats.
I don't know what he's talking about, but he's not diminished.
He's not diminished.
It's hilarious and crazy.
I don't know what the hell he's talking about.
Do you know what the hell he's talking about?
Sharks and electric batteries and the boat is sinking under its own weight.
I don't know what he's talking about, but there's a difference between that and this.
Not the same.
Joe Biden looks like a corpse.
He walks like a corpse being manipulated from above like a marionette.
He's being guided around by Georgia Maloney, the leader of Italy, and Barack Obama, the former president of the United States.
At his rallies, they deploy Jill Biden to sprint up on stage like Usain Bolt to turn him around so he doesn't walk into the band.
That's not the same thing.
Donald Trump being weird and hilarious and random, that's like normal Donald Trump, which is sort of the point.
But don't worry, the media is going to tell you different.

Joe Biden can't play chess.
The pieces move all different.
He might be able to play checkers.
You're telling me that he knows how to castle anymore, Joe Biden?

I said this was a great week for the president.
He's having these back-to-back weeks on both the national stage and domestically.
The economy, the numbers were strong coming out on inflation.
It's amazing because you think about the fact that the president is playing chess and the former president at best is playing like Hungry Hungry Hippo.
Well if that, maybe Uno.
I'm gonna give him Uno maybe.
He's playing Uno.
Uno and somebody keeps telling him draw four.
I just, you know, it's...
These geniuses.
These absolute MFing geniuses.
They are so brilliant.
They are so with it.
Yeah, this dog is gonna... But!
There's a danger in this for Trump.
Which is that his focus should be on... Let us all say the thing.
We all see it.
He doesn't have to say it.
Donald Trump doesn't have to point out that Joe Biden is gone.
We all know it.
What he needs to point out over and over and over again is that he was a better president than Joe Biden is.

Okay, meanwhile, when it comes to the actual argument that Donald Trump should be making, he should not be the one who's talking about Joe Biden's age.
Let everybody else talk about his age.
He should be talking about the fact that Joe Biden is a terrible, terrible president because it turns out that he is.
On the economy in particular, he continues to be an absolutely terrible president.
And again, when Donald Trump talks about this, it is very good for Donald Trump.
So here is Trump over the weekend pointing out the difference between his economy and Joe Biden's economy.
We had no inflation.
Gasoline was less than $2.
The 30-year mortgage was at 2.6%.
The border was secure.
Wages were rising.
And the jobs were the best in the history of our country.
For African Americans, for black Americans, the jobs were the best in the history of our country.
Other than that, what did I do?
Not that much.
Not that much.
Okay, again, this is what he should be saying in the debate.
You know, Joe, you brought us 40-year highs in inflation.
People can't make their bills.
And that'll force Joe Biden to tell a bunch of lies.
And it's always the same lies.
It's always this stuff about how he created millions of jobs.
And at that point, Donald Trump can say, well, no, actually, you didn't create any jobs.
In fact, you put a drag on the economy in the form of your massive inflationary economy.
The people who created jobs are all the small business people who are getting crushed by your inflation.
I mean, what's the response to that even?
Janet Yellen, who's the Treasury Secretary, she is still trying to whistle past the graveyard, in the case of Biden, the actual graveyard, suggesting that Americans are better off now than they were under Donald Trump.
But again, nobody believes this.
All Americans, both those who are well off and those who are near at the bottom of the income distribution, are better off now.
Their wages have risen more than prices.
Okay, so no one believes her.
No one believes things are going really well.
In fact, Bidenomics, what is Bidenomics?
So, the Biden campaign put out a video of a Biden supporter talking about how great the economy was.
Listen to how she describes the economy.
I heard you like that ice cream.
I would love one day to be able to have you try some of my ice cream.
I'm the dullest president in America.
I'm known for my Ray-Ban sunglasses and chocolate chip ice cream.
Alright!
How's business?
It's great.
It's really good.
I got a lot of opportunities as far as grants and stuff this year.
It's really great.
Okay, I would like to just point out here, that's not how economics works.
If you ask me, how is business this year?
I'm going to talk about my customer base.
I'm going to talk about how we've been doing an amazing job getting more people through the door in order to buy our goods and services.
If your answer to the President of the United States, how is your company doing is, we got a lot of grants this year.
That's not your business being good.
That's you getting a lot of taxpayer money.
But that's how Bidenomics works.
We're all supposed to believe that things are going really well because Joe Biden is signing checks that obviously he's not the one paying for.
Meanwhile, Joe Biden still hasn't connected anyone to the internet.
Remember, there's a big deal about how Joe Biden was going to build with $42.5 billion from the infrastructure bill, high-speed internet for everybody, which, of course, it turns out is completely unnecessary because technology is developing so quickly that building broadband is probably the way of the past.
In any case, FCC Commissioner Brendan Carr on Friday wrote that President Biden has not connected one single American with high-speed internet.
Not one.
The FCC commissioner wrote, in 2021, the Biden administration got $42.45 billion from Congress to deploy high-speed internet to millions of Americans.
Years later, it has not connected one person with those funds.
In fact, it now says that no construction projects will even start until 2025 at the earliest.
So, like, really good job there, Joe Biden.
Even the grants aren't going out fast enough.
Meanwhile, investors are fearing chaos because there's been this long stretch of calm in the markets, and that has basically been predicated not on calm in the markets, but on an underlying tension.
You don't know where to put your money.
If you're an investor, and I'm an investor, you really don't know where to put your money at this point.
Thanks to inflation, and thanks to a widespread belief that we are in a sort of stock market bubble, but it's unclear where we go next.
Thanks to all the hesitation by the Fed.
Thanks to the fact the interest rates are high, but it's not really having an effect on real estate prices yet, which is strange.
There's all sorts of weird stickinesses in the Joe Biden market created by all of the perverse incentives made by the Fed and by the Biden administration spending policies.
Because of that, there's a lot of underlying nervousness underneath the market rally.
According to the Wall Street Journal, markets are unusually calm, and that's making Wall Street nervous.
Investors look sanguine.
Analysts say they have good reason.
The economy has remained stronger than almost anyone predicted after the Federal Reserve began raising those interest rates.
But history shows that periods of extreme market calm rarely last.
Part of the problem with a strong economy and calm markets is they create an environment in which investors let their guard down in terms of riskier, more speculative investments in their hunt for fast returns, which is true.
It's also one of the reasons why top CEOs, according to the Wall Street Journal, are flocking to Trump again.
According to the Wall Street Journal, when Donald Trump won the presidency in 2016, business leaders flocked to meet with him, hoping to tone down his trade policies and populist rhetoric while encouraging his business-friendly tax and deregulation agenda.
They are flocking to meet him again.
Since Trump vanquished his last major GOP primary foe, more big names from the world of finance have lined up behind him.
This week, a range of chief executives listened carefully as he promised more tax cuts and hedged on some of his harshest promises on immigration.
Even CEOs like Jamie Dimon of JPMorgan Chase and Bank of America's Brian Moynihan have shown signs of warming Trump's policies or have spoken out against Joe Biden's.
Citi's CEO Jane Frazier, Wells Fargo's Charlie Scharf were all in attendance at a business roundtable meeting where Trump addressed the group this week.
And on the economy, Donald Trump is winning by every available poll.
On immigration, Donald Trump is winning by every available poll.
According to a brand new CBS Politics poll, 62.35, Americans favor mass deportations.
Local police profiling the undocumented, profiling illegal immigrants, according to Mark Caputo.
62.38, 62% of Americans support local cops being able to arrest illegal immigrants.
Very few, a minority of people actually want more detention centers.
They don't want more detention centers, mainly because they don't want people detained in the United States.
They want them to remain in Mexico.
So Donald Trump's immigration politics are overwhelmingly popular with the American people.
These are like 60-40 propositions.
Meanwhile, Joe Biden is preparing to offer legal status to hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants.
According to CBS News, a program being developed by White House officials would offer work permits and deportation protections to unauthorized immigrants married to U.S.
citizens as long as they have lived in the U.S.
for at least 10 years.
The proposal, known as Parole in Place, would also open up a pathway to permanent legal status in U.S.
citizenship for some beneficiaries by removing an obstacle in U.S.
law that prevents those who enter the U.S.
illegally from obtaining green cards without leaving the country.
Another plan being prepared by Biden would streamline the process for so-called dreamers and other undocumented immigrants to request waivers that would make it easier for them to obtain temporary visas.
So in the middle of an immigration News cycle in which we are worried about an open border.
Joe Biden is incentivizing more illegal immigration.
I wonder why he's losing again.
What Donald Trump needs to focus on is Joe Biden crapping the bet on the presidency.
That's the thing he really needs to focus in on in a very serious way.
Not his age.
We all see his age.
Don't worry, President Trump, we got this.
We can all see it.
Please focus all your efforts in the debate and every day up to and past then on the fact that Joe Biden is a terrible president, not because he's mentally incompetent, but because he is just incompetent, period.

Donald Trump spent the weekend also going after Joe Biden on terrorism.
He linked this with the border.
He pointed out that Joe Biden's open border has meant that terrorists cross the border, which of course is true.
So in addition to all of his other well-documented offenses, crooked Joe Biden is now also guilty of providing material support For terrorism.
Under Biden, there's been a 3,000% increase in the number of people on the terror watch list crossing into our country from the southern border.
3,000%.
And that comes from the Border Patrol.
Our country is going to pay a steep price for many, many years.
This is a terrible thing that's happened.
He's not wrong.
Again, more focus on Joe Biden being a bad president is the key.
Especially because they ain't got no backup.
There's a lot of talk right now about what happens if Biden craps the bed in the debate.
What happens if he poops himself?
Like literally poops himself.
Like something so bad happens during the debate that he collapses in the polls.
Will they swap him out for somebody like, say, Kamala Harris?
The problem is, that person would be a person named Kamala Harris, who's even less popular than Joe Biden for a reason.
Here she was explaining yesterday that community banks are called community banks because they're, wait for it, in the community.
I know.
Shocking, shocking stuff here from Kamala Harris.
The importance of community banks is they are as they are called.
They're in the community.
As they are called.
Led by members of the community.
They are people who understand the capacity of the community, the needs of the community, the culture of the community.
They are folks who, unlike the big banks, will see the dream that an individual has for what is possible And instead of rejecting that dream because maybe it's something they've not heard before, they will listen to it and then give folks advice, including financial literacy advice, helping people know how to run a payroll, how to deal with inventory, in a way that they can start a business and sustain that business and grow that business.
Okay, my favorite thing about what she says about community banks, aside from her use of the word community 87 times in about a 27-second clip there, is my favorite thing, is when she explains that community banks are wiser than the big banks, which is, of course, why community banks are so wildly profitable compared to the big banks, or perhaps not.
But that is the person who is backing up Joe Biden.
Again, the best presidency insurance that Joe Biden has ever had is Kamala Harris in the background explaining like she's saying something deep.
That community banks are called that because they're banks in the community, for the community, like and of the community.
She's great at what she does.
Wow.
An impressive, impressive person she is.
