Poopin’ Joe
| Copy link to current segment

Time Text
Yesterday, Joe Biden went to Normandy on the 80th anniversary of the D-Day invasion, the largest amphibious invasion in the history of warfare, and he attempted to channel Ronald Reagan.
Ronald Reagan, of course, was there for the 40th anniversary of D-Day and gave an incredibly famous and wonderful speech about the boys of Pointe du Hoc and all the rest of it.
Joe Biden showed up and proceeded to maybe poop.
Now, that's under dispute.
The White House suggests that the President did not, in fact, poop.
But the fact that it's an open question is not ideal for the President of the United States, who has now been the subject of a giant Wall Street Journal piece pointing out the obvious to all of us, which is that the President is no longer functional.
According to the New York Times, the aging American president facing a re-election campaign came to the Normandy coast of France to pay tribute to the daring army rangers who scaled the cliffs of Pointe du Hoc, offering a pain to democracy for which they sacrificed and perhaps even wrapped himself a little bit in their reflected glory.
That was 1984.
The president was Ronald Reagan, who delivered an ode to heroism and patriotism that would become
one of the most iconic moments of his presidency. Forty years later, another aging president facing
re-election plans to return to the same spot on Friday to honor the same heroes and effectively
align himself with Mr. Reagan's legacy of leadership against tyranny. Well, let me just say,
good luck to Joe Biden if he is hoping to mirror the performance of Ronald Reagan in 1984 in
I mean, first off, the timeline doesn't really work.
It doesn't really work.
It turns out that in 1984, Ronald Reagan, who is considered aging, was 73 years old, younger than both of the major party candidates this year.
Joe Biden is currently 81 and no longer in control of his faculties.
And so the clips that were going viral around social media yesterday were not the clips of Joe Biden appearing stalwart in defense of democracy.
They were clips of the president doddering around, being guided by his handlers, being led by the hand by Dr. Jill, who's going to need a medical degree before all of this is over, given the way that Joe Biden is medically slipping.
Here was Joe Biden arriving at Omaha Beach and staggering around in his moon shoes.
Yes, they have him in these moon shoes because they are afraid he is going to trip.
In orthopedic shoes with giant soles that look as though he's going to go bouncing around.
Well, they're really just to prevent him from keeling over.
Here's what that looked like.
He gets out of the car, doesn't know where to go.
Just kind of standing there looking bewildered, his mouth slack-jawed.
Well, this is a beach.
What do I do here?
Then of course, he went on stage with all the other world leaders, all of whom are probably
half his age, and he had this particularly odd moment in which he was not sure whether
to sit down on a chair or not to sit down on a chair.
Nobody else seems confused up there, by the way.
Everybody else is standing there.
And you got to feel a little bit for Dr. Jill, except for the fact that she's the one who's
keeping him in power.
Dr. Jill has some ambitions of her own.
And the fact that Dr. Jill is standing there, she just looks awkward.
She has kind of a poker tell, which you will see in this particular video, where she starts sort of touching her face as she becomes uncomfortable with her husband's obviously senile behavior.
He gets up there, doesn't know what to do.
Looks older than the 100-year-old veterans of Normandy who are sitting behind him and proceeds to kind of do a weird dance.
This is the clip that had everybody suggesting that the president had perhaps defecated upon himself.
Distinguished guests, please welcome the Honorable Lloyd J. Austin III, Secretary of Defense of the United States of America.
Then finally, everybody sits.
But that hesitation, that what do we do?
And you can see that Jill is annoyed with him.
That's when she starts scratching her lip.
You can see it all.
And then of course, Joe Biden had to be led away, tottered away by Dr. Jill before everybody else.
Here's what the end of the ceremony looked like for the Bidens as everybody stays behind to greet the World War II veterans.
And we will catch you later.
Again, the fact that he walks, as President Trump has said, as though he is stepping over a bed of thumbtacks constantly, is not an amazing look.
Meanwhile, pan back, and there are all the rest of the world leaders who are still greeting all of the members of the greatest generation.
But Joe is gone.
He is out.
Biden during the ceremony appeared to be lost.
He appeared at some times to be closing his eyes, which again has become a common occurrence for him.
The Wall Street Journal reported that during meetings, it's not clear whether he's fallen asleep or not.
Here's what that looked like.
I think of Leon Gauthier and the others.
Everybody else seems to be wide awake.
There is Joe.
I'm not sure what he is doing here.
Don't worry folks, he is just resting his eyes.
We'll get to more on this in just one moment.
First, diversification is key when you are investing.
One example of an investor who didn't diversify their portfolio is Carl Icahn.
Icahn had a significant stake in Hertz.
When Hertz filed for bankruptcy in 2020, Icahn's investment plummeted.
Icahn eventually sold his stake at a giant loss.
Diversification is an important thing.
During times of economic uncertainty or market volatility, investors tend to flock to gold as a safe haven asset.
Its value tends to increase during turbulent times, providing a buffer against market downturns.
That's why people are turning to gold right now and why Birchgold is busier than ever.
Birchgold understands that navigating financial decisions can be daunting.
That's why their dedicated in-house IRA department is there to guide you every step of the way.
Birchgold's team is always ready to provide answers and clarity.
Whether it's fees, taxes on rollovers, or the timing of the process, they're here to ensure you feel valued and well-informed.
Text Ben to 989898 to talk to one of Birchgold's experts and claim your free info can on gold.
You'll learn how to convert an existing IRA or 401k into a tax-sheltered IRA in gold.
The best part is, it doesn't cost you a penny out of pocket.
Just text Ben to 9898.
Again, that's Ben to 989898 to get started.
Now, why does any of this matter?
It matters because this is a president who is not in command.
He clearly is not in command.
Now, people keep asking, if he's not, then who is?
And the answer is, whoever's in command that day.
There's no one consistent answer.
It is not as though there's a shadow president like Barack Obama sitting in the background, manipulating all the strings.
At least then you would get a bad but coherent policy.
From Joe Biden, all you get is whether, is he awake this moment?
What does he decide to do?
You're getting an extraordinary level of volatility and eccentricity in Joe Biden's policymaking, which makes it feel as though he's ping-ponging off the walls, because he kind of is.
And that, of course, is not unusual in a case when you have somebody who's approaching senility.
On some days, they are better than on others.
Everybody knows this who has ever dealt with an aging family member.
On some days, maybe they're with it.
On some days, maybe they can get it together.
On some days, maybe those drugs hit differently on State of the Union Day.
And on some days, you walk in, they barely know who you are.
They don't appear to be able to keep up with you.
And that is Joe Biden.
The bottom is falling out for Joe Biden on this particular issue.
You know that when even his greatest allies, people who perform That wasn't the only nerve-wracking flight of the day.
President Biden today, touchdown in Paris.
Careful.
to make jokes about the fact that Joe Biden does not appear to be in control of himself.
Here is Jimmy Kimmel, lackey par excellence to the Biden administration. Even he is mocking Joe
Biden descending stairs now. That wasn't the only nerve wracking flight of the day.
President Biden today, touchdown in Paris. Careful, go easy.
Take it one, good, good, good.
And okay.
Very good.
We did it.
It's already a success.
Okay, well that's always a great look, is when even the people who love you the most are making fun of the fact that you might fall down the stairs at any moment.
As I've said, I would be absolutely flabbergasted if we make it all the way to the election without a serious fall by Joe Biden.
I don't mean just like him tipping over on a bicycle, or him tripping on a stage, we've already seen both of those, or him falling up the stairs multiple times, we've seen that as well.
I mean like an actual real health problem.
God forbid it should happen, but I would be kind of shocked if given the rigors of the job and the fact that the president is expected to campaign, that does not happen at some point.
So how are Democrats fighting off the perception that this president is not only incompetent at his job, he's just non-compos mentis?
That he is not with it?
Well, the answer is they're ratcheting up the rhetoric against Donald Trump.
Because again, if they can make the election a referendum on Donald Trump, then Trump has some troubles.
If the election is a referendum on Joe Biden, the current president of the United States, then Joe Biden has some troubles, which is why the chief goal of the Trump administration is stay out of the line of fire.
The Trump campaign needs to stay out of the line of fire.
Quiet Trump is best Trump.
If Trump were to actually pursue Joe Biden's strategy from 2020, namely go into a basement and stay there until November, Donald Trump will be President of the United States again.
It is the job of Democrats, however, to pull the panic alarm, push the panic button, with regard to Donald Trump.
And they are really ratcheting it up.
So yesterday, Hillary Clinton sent off what is one of the most egregious tweets I have ever seen in my life.
It was about Normandy and here is what she, she limited the replies by the way, quote, 80 years ago today, thousands of brave Americans fought to protect democracy on the shores of Normandy.
This November, all we have to do is vote.
Yes, that's right.
According to Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump is Hitler.
And when you vote against Donald Trump, that is the same as you storming the beaches of Normandy.
Yes, you, you fatso, carrying your Pepsi.
You're slurpy, both of them, and you're Cheetos, in line, at the polling place, you voting against Donald Trump.
It's like when your great-grandfather stormed the beaches of Normandy while his friends got killed by mortars, according to Hillary Clinton.
I mean, there are a few things that are insulting about this.
One, the idea that voting is in any way equivalent to military service is absurd.
Two, the idea that Donald Trump is Orange Hitler is absurd on its face.
We know he isn't.
He was president of the United States already, and guess what didn't happen?
The Hitler stuff.
By the way, if anybody were to blame for the rise of Orange Hitler, it would be Hillary Clinton, who was the candidate who somehow lost to him because she wouldn't visit Wisconsin.
But this has become a Democratic talking point over the course of the last 24 hours.
Nothing says true tribute to the heroism of D-Day quite like comparing your political opponents to Hitler.
Here was Mitch Landrieu.
I feel very, very confident that this is going to be a very hard-fought race, but when the chips are down, the American people are going to show up just like those kids did 80 years ago.
Just like the kids did 80 years ago.
Exactly like that.
Like they're gonna storm off of amphibious landing craft onto a beach pocked by machine gun fire.
And then they're gonna vote for the old man who may have actually pooped upon himself at Normandy.
Hot rumor on Capitol Hill is that they do carry a second suit, just in case, for the President of the United States.
Meanwhile, the entire media have decided that the problem is not actually Donald Trump, it's Donald Trump supporters.
Half the country, according to the mainstream media, according to legacy media, half the country are effectively brown shirts.
So here is MSNBC's Nicole Wallace making the case that Trump supporters have to be fixed with Anthony Scaramucci.
The Mooch.
You remember him from his extraordinarily short tenure as a White House press secretary.
For five hot seconds.
And again, it is amazing how easily you become a hero of the day over on MSNBC.
All you have to do is be a Republican for five seconds, turn around and crap on Republicans, and you will be hero of the day over at MSNBC.
Including Anthony Scaramucci.
Here we go.
But how do you fix them?
I mean, I don't think, I don't recommend that we hate those people, but how do you help people that must hate themselves to want someone to serve as commander-in-chief who thinks they are suckers and losers if they get injured or die serving the country?
Listen, it's an absolutely terrible thing.
I think that the President, President Biden, has actually done a great job for these people.
President Trump may identify their grievances and may push buttons of their anger, but if you think of the reshoring of manufacturing, the infrastructure deal, you think of the microprocessor foundries that are going into the United States, he has such a case to make for these people coming back to the Democratic Party.
Yes.
Let's listen to the words of a man who lasted for 11 days in the Trump administration.
11 days.
Honest to goodness.
I mean, I have vegetables in the fridge that have lasted longer than Anthony Scaramucci.
We'll get to more on this in just a moment.
First, here is an eternal truth.
Vegetables.
Yucky.
Take Brussels sprouts.
They taste like garbage.
That's where they belong.
But you're supposed to eat them.
What exactly are they?
Well, you don't have to know that much about vegetables to know that you can also get what you need from the vegetables with, like, balance of nature fruits and veggies.

Meanwhile, again, if the entire case here is that Donald Trump is the incipient tyrant, it makes it kind of awkward that you guys keep jailing your political opponents.
So yesterday, Steve Bannon, a person for whom I have no personal love, I've said before that Steve Bannon is one of the worst people I personally know, but Steve Bannon being sent to jail for the great crime of contempt of Congress is an absurdity.
It is an absurdity.
And yet that's what happened yesterday.
According to Politico, a federal judge has now ordered Bannon, a longtime ally of former President Donald Trump, to report to prison by July 1st for his conviction for defying a subpoena from the January 6th committee.
U.S.
District Judge Carl Nichols, a Trump appointee, previously paused Bannon's four-month sentence while he appealed his conviction.
On Thursday, Nichols, who ruled the original reasons for the postponement, no longer apply because the D.C.
Circuit Court of Appeals panel ruled strongly and unanimously last month against Bannon's position.
Bannon had claimed executive privilege in his statements with President Trump.
That's why he wouldn't appear in front of the January 6th committee.
The D.C.
Circuit Court of Appeals said, no, that's not how this works.
Now, that is a different question as to whether you go to jail for actual contempt of Congress.
Typically, contempt of Congress does not result in a jail sentence.
In fact, we know this from past members of, say, the Obama administration, who did not go to jail for contempt of Congress.
Lois Lerner, who is famously the IRS director for tax-exempt organizations and presided over the IRS scandal under Barack Obama, under which it was clear that the IRS had, in partisan fashion, been going through and using keywords to prevent conservative and pro-Israel organizations from obtaining 501c3 tax-exempt status.
She was called before Congress With a subpoena.
She ignored the subpoena, and she was found in contempt by Congress.
The Department of Justice, run by Barack Obama, then refused to prosecute her for contempt of Congress.
So nothing happened to her.
She was given a nice fat pension, and she was shuttled off to wherever it is old IRS officials go to retire.
Eric Holder himself, former Attorney General of the United States under Barack Obama in 2012, refused to comply with the congressional subpoena in what was called the Fast and Furious scandal, which was a scandal about effectively the federal government and the DOJ in particular, allowing for the illegal sale of weapons to members of the Mexican drug cartels to be taken back across the borders into Mexico in order, presumably, so that those guns would then be used in crimes identified with American manufacturers, and then that would serve as some sort of bootstrapped operation to oppose Second Amendment manufacture of arms in the United States.
Eric Holder was called in front of Congress about all of this.
He refused the subpoena.
No prosecution, nothing ever happened, despite being found in contempt by a vote of 255 to 67.
Now there are two separate Trump-era officials who are going to jail or have gone to jail for contempt of Congress.
According to Politico, if Bannon heads to prison on July 1st, it would put him behind bars until just before the November election.
Nichols' decision would also effectively pardon-proof Bannon's jail sentence.
Because, obviously, he's going to be out of jail before Donald Trump would take office.
Trump had already pardoned Bannon on the final day of his presidency on federal fraud charges.
There are now state fraud charges that are being brought against Bannon on a separate question as to whether he and some of his friends were basically fraudulently getting Americans to give money to quote-unquote build the border wall with private funding and then the money just disappeared.
That's a separate case against Bannon ongoing right now.
Bannon was convicted in July 2022 of two misdemeanor counts of contempt of Congress for stonewalling a subpoena from the House Select Committee investigating the January 6th, 2021 attack on the Capitol.
Nichols said, Now, this is not Nichols' fault.
He is a lower court judge.
the original basis for my state of Mr. Bannon sentence exists anymore. Now this is not Nichols'
fault. He is a lower court judge. It is actually demanded that he follow higher court rulings.
Bottom line here though is that the fact that the prosecutors are attempting to
send him to jail over all of this is an absurdity.
Here is Bannon's response.
All of this is about one thing.
This is about shutting down the MAGA movement, shutting down grassroots conservatives, shutting down President Trump.
Not only are we winning, we are going to prevail, and every number and every poll shows that.
There's nothing that can shut me up and nothing that will shut me up.
me up. There's not a prison, there's not a prison, there's not a prison built, there's
not a prison built or a jail built that will ever shut me up. All victory to MAGA.
We're going to win this.
We're going to win at the Supreme Court.
And more importantly, we're going to win on November 5th.
I mean, honestly, for Steve Bannon, big political win in the same way that it's a big political win for Donald Trump to have been convicted in the New York courts in corrupt fashion.
He's the second person they've done this to, by the way.
Remember that they sentenced former Donald Trump advisor Peter Navarro also to a jail sentence, a four-month jail sentence at a federal Bureau of Prisons facility in Miami.
And that, of course, was, again, based on his unwillingness to comply with the subpoena from the House Committee investigating January 6th.
As I say, Democrats get away with this stuff all the time.
In fact, the current Attorney General Merrick Garland is defying a congressional subpoena.
According to Breitbart, Attorney General Merrick Garland said this week he will defy subpoenas from congressional Republicans he does not agree with.
That was after congressional leaders among Republicans threatened to hold him in contempt because he refuses to hand over recordings of Joe Biden speaking with the special counsel Robert Herr.
You'll recall that there's a transcript of that particular interview that made Poopin' Joe sound not particularly sentient.
And it turns out that now the DOJ directly intervened to prevent the release of the tape.
Garland this week said, quote, that the Republicans were seeking contempt as a means of obtaining for no legitimate purpose sensitive law enforcement information that could harm the integrity of future investigations.
This effort is only the most recent in a long line of attacks on the Justice Department's work.
Again, defying congressional subpoena.
If the new rule is you defy a congressional subpoena, you go to jail.
Merrick Garland should go to jail.
Do not pass go.
Do not collect $200.
That is how this should work.
But this is now part of a pattern of the Biden administration, its DOJ, and its connected law enforcement arms across the country doing the Democratic Party's dirty work.
We'll get to more on this in a moment.

Another thing I don't buy, by the way, is Joe Biden saying he's not going to pardon Hunter.
Yeah, I don't buy that for one hot second.
If Hunter Biden ends up with a 10-year prison sentence, the chances that Joe leaves him in prison to rot are zero.
But here is Joe Biden trying to maintain that he's going to be hands-off with his Justice Department, presumably just as hands-off as he was when the Justice Department tried to cut an absolute sweetheart deal with Hunter Biden to let him off on all of the charges.
A sweetheart deal only negated by a federal judge going, what in the hell is this deal?
Here is Joe Biden proclaiming he's not going to pardon Hunter.
Sure.
As we sit here in Normandy, your son Hunter is on trial, and I know that you cannot speak about an ongoing federal prosecution.
But let me ask you, will you accept the jury's outcome, their verdict, no matter what it is?
Yes.
And have you ruled out a pardon for your son?
Yes.
You have.
Uhhhh.
Uhhhh.
He chose poorly.
you When it came to drinking from the... His choice for the Holy Grail was wrong, as it turns out.
And he's been aging in real time, like the end of Indie.
In any case, I don't believe that.
Also, by the way, I will point out that his love for his family is quite selective.
When it comes to one granddaughter, she has no contact whatsoever with Joe Biden.
According to ex-stripper and Hunter Biden's ex-lover, London Roberts, she has now told Piers Morgan that President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden, the most caring members of the Biden family, have yet to even meet their five-year-old granddaughter.
Which is, that is how you treat family.
Just really, really solid stuff here.
There's been several articles sent to me that people have told me that he's not acknowledged Navy and things like that.
That was during a time that I think the paternity suit had happened and the child support thing had not yet, and Hunter and I had not come to terms with things yet.
And the advice that, honestly, I've been given From my attorney was that, you know, grandparents don't normally step into a child's life until their child does.
The father, you know, steps in first.
And I think that, you know, Joe is set back and waited for that to happen for Hunter before he was, you know, feels comfortable enough to step forward.
So, Hunter, who had an unfortunate habit of schtupping hookers and strippers, it turns out that he impregnated one of them, then he tried to deny the paternity for literally years, and then finally he acknowledged the paternity.
Joe Biden did not acknowledge this particular grandchild publicly for years and years and years.
Now has done so, but still has not contacted this particular grandchild, but is there to defend Hunter Biden in the dock as he faces down federal gun charges that could land him in prison.
By the way, it's gonna be a moot point.
My prediction, as always, Hunter Biden is going to get a hung jury.
He's going to get a hung jury.
This is happening in Wilmington, Delaware.
That jurisdiction is a totally Biden-dominated area.
Again, Joe Biden won something like 88% of the vote in Wilmington, Delaware.
The Biden team owns that state.
This would be the same as if you were actually to try Donald Trump, not in New York, but you were going to try him in West Palm Beach.
Like right, but just the area of Mar-a-Lago.
Like, it's an absurdity.
And meanwhile, Joe Biden is struggling politically.
And this, of course, is the great, the great story of the Biden presidency is not his senility.
His senility is merely one of the rationales for why he's so bad at the presidenting.
But the problem for Joe Biden is that Joe Biden fundamentally lied to his supporters and people who voted for him in 2020.
He promised stability.
He promised moderation.
And what he delivered was a program that looks very much like Bernie Sanders.
And Elizabeth Warren combined.
His policy program is the bizarre and hideous love child of Bernie Sanders' policy program and Elizabeth Warren's policy program, with a little sprinkling of pro-Hamas protest mixed in.
That is not a good recipe for re-election.
We'll get to more on this in just one moment.

Rules and restrictions may apply.
So, earlier this week, Joe Biden tried to trot out an executive order that would supposedly crack down on illegal immigration.
As it turns out, it's not doing anything of the sort.
But, he's infuriated his progressive wing, which means the walk back is starting.
Which is a dangerous thing, because Joe Biden can barely walk forwards, let alone walk back.
According to Politico, President Biden enraged progressives this week when he clamped down on asylum at the southern border.
Now he's looking at policies that may appease them.
They need to, by the way, because the top two issues in this election are the economy, where he is losing by 20 points, and immigration, where he is losing by all the points.
come after Biden officials have spent months crafting Tuesday's new border restrictions
with top aides fixated on beating back GOP criticism over the president's handling
of immigration.
They need to, by the way, because the top two issues in this election
are the economy, where he is losing by 20 points, and immigration, where he is losing by all the points.
There are points that have not yet been created he is losing to Donald Trump on immigration.
According to Politico, White House officials privately pointed
frustrated advocates to a part of Biden's remarks on Tuesday, when he said in the weeks ahead,
he would speak on how we can make our immigration system more fair and more just.
A spokesperson for Senator Alex Padilla in California has heard directly from administration officials the president is exploring options.
Apparently, they are looking at parole in place for undocumented spouses of U.S.
citizens, which would shield them from deportation and allow them to work legally while they pursue a path to citizenship.
And this is always one of the big issues.
So there's been a lot of talk about, is Joe Biden opening the southern border so as to allow future voters into the United States?
And one of the talking points has been, no, no, no, no.
Those people can't vote anyway.
They're illegal.
It's not like they're just going to be given citizenship tomorrow.
Well, one way that you get citizenship in the United States is to marry a legal citizen of the United States and then apply for citizenship.
So shielding all those people from deportation would in fact create a massive new class of citizens, particularly because a wildly disproportionate number of people coming across America's southern border are single young men, who then end up pairing off with somebody in the United States already.
Ed Markey of Massachusetts, who is a socialist, said, quote, I love it when people suggest things like they're caught in unconscionable circumstances.
It is your choice to enter the country.
for families who are caught in unconscionable circumstances.
I love it when people suggest things like they're caught in unconscionable circumstances.
It is your choice to enter the country, you're not caught in anything.
The lack of agency the Democrats constantly suggest for individual human beings is not
only stupid, but deeply counterproductive on every possible level.
Everyone who fails in the United States or who's in a bad circumstance in the United States, according to Democrats, has no agency and is quote-unquote caught in an unconscionable circumstance as opposed to making a decision that they regret because there are consequences.
Well, there's an illegal immigrant who Bill Malujian of Fox News saw coming across the border, asked him about whether he knew it was illegal to come across the border.
The dude's like, well, yeah, I mean, of course.
I know exactly where I am and what I am doing.
Jordan.
Yeah.
Jordan.
Yeah.
Why'd you come to Egypt?
Why'd you come to America?
For a job.
For a job?
Yeah.
You know it's illegal to cross the border like this, right?
Yeah.
You don't care?
Yes, I don't care.
I mean, why would he care, exactly?
By the way, that's a long place to go for a job.
Turns out there are a lot of places between Jordan and, you know, the Mexican border.
That is a country that is next to Israel in the Middle East, for those who don't know.
It's like 8,000 miles away.
That's a long way to go for a job, as it turns out.
There's no place to stop.
No place, literally.
You want to know why Donald Trump is winning on this issue?
It's because he's clear about this issue.
Donald Trump says the border closes day one.
On day one, I will seal the border, I will stop the invasion, and we will begin the largest domestic deportation operation in the history of our country.
I have no choice.
We have no choice.
Biden has given us no choice.
Well, I mean, that is why he's winning on immigration.
It turns out that Joe Biden's wild progressive policies are popular with a very, very small percentage of the base.
Even administrators at college campuses The ones who are basically playing an inside-outside game with the protesters on college campuses.
And Joe Biden, meanwhile, patting those protesters on the head.
We don't like that you're breaking the law, says Joe, but your viewpoints are totally legit.
University of Pennsylvania is now banning protest encampments from its campus for the very first time.
Why?
Well, because it turns out that's real unpopular with the donors and generally the American people.
Penn's new rules say, quote, to ensure the safety of the Penn community and to protect the health and property of individuals, encampments and overnight demonstrations are not permitted in any university location.
Meanwhile, UC Berkeley's leader has advice for the students is Carol Christ.
She says, just because you have the right to say something doesn't mean it's right to say.
So yeah, as it turns out, even the leaders of America's most left-wing institutions are realizing how deeply unpopular their garbage is.
The same is happening at major Ivy League universities that are starting to move away from so-called DEI statements.
According to the New York Times, For years, conservatives condemned the use of diversity statements by universities, which asked job applicants to detail their commitment to improving opportunities for marginalized and underrepresented groups.
Critics called such statements dogmatic, coercive, and in one lawsuit seeking to end the practice in California, a modern-day loyalty oath that recalled when professors were required to denounce the Communist Party.
Use of diversity statements continued to grow, but that seems to be changing.
Harvard University's Faculty of Arts and Sciences and MIT have each recently announced they will no longer require diversity statements as part of their hiring process for faculty posts.
The switch has flipped, as of now, said Jeffrey Flier, the former dean of Harvard Medical School.
Many professors on hiring committees may have been reluctant to voice their concerns about mandatory DEI statements before now, but I think the large, silent majority of faculty who question the implementation of these programs, and in particular these diversity statements, these people are being heard.
It turns out the left-wing agenda is deeply unpopular, even with so-called moderate liberals.
But Joe Biden can't pull himself out of the tailspin.
He cannot.
And that is particularly true in the Middle East, where it continues to pursue an absolutely discombobulated policy.
We'll get to that in just one second.
First, there's some clear signs summer is quickly approaching.

Also, don't miss my most recent episode of the Sunday Special with Pastor John MacArthur that drops this Sunday.
In this episode, we discuss the decline of religious life in the West, the degradation of biblical teachings in America's churches, and the challenges of convincing the upcoming generation to live a life of faith.
Here's a little bit of what it sounded like.
It just so happens that the politicians have basically co-opted sin and turned it into their platform, which forces people who understand a biblical definition of sin to be the enemy.
It's not that we're trying to take over the world.
It's not we're trying to take over the United States.
It's we're just trying to uphold righteousness.
Again, that drops this Sunday.
It's an awesome conversation.
You're not going to want to miss it.
Meanwhile, the discombobulated Biden administration foreign policy is most obvious in the Middle East.
It is truly amazing how the Biden administration has downplayed the most obvious moral conflict in the world, literally on planet Earth.
So Joe Biden, of course, was in Normandy, and he suggested that the fight against the Russians in Ukraine is an extension of the fight that was fought On D-Day, here he was talking about the linkage between those two conflicts.
Make no mistake, the autocrats of the world are watching closely to see what happens in Ukraine, to see if we let this illegal aggression go unchecked.
We cannot let that happen.
To surrender to bullies, to bow down to dictators, is simply unthinkable.
Were we to do that, it means we'd be forgetting what happened here in these hallowed beaches.
Make no mistake, we will not bow down.
We will not forget.
Okay, again, that was a point that was then echoed by the Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, suggesting a powerful parallel between D-Day and the Ukraine war.
You know, there's a really powerful parallel, too, between what we're commemorating today and what we're doing now.
Back then, it wasn't just the United States.
Here in Normandy, 12 countries came together.
160,000 men coming to this beach, coming to start the final fight that ultimately, 11 months later, led to victory in World War II.
In Ukraine, we have more than 50 countries standing up, standing together, making sure that Ukraine has what it needs to defend itself and to push back this aggression.
And that's the power of our alliances.
And that's the biggest difference maker we have in the world.
Okay, so just to get the moral conflict here straight, the suggestion is that Vladimir Putin is like Adolf Hitler, and the allies in Ukraine are like the allies in World War II.
Well, can I think of a- let me think if I can think of a conflict somewhere on Earth where there is an organized military group that believes in literally all of the principles of Adolf Hitler.
Like, it's not a controversy about what exactly they're doing.
Like, they want to kill all the Jews.
Like, let's say it was in their founding charter document that they wanted to kill all the Jews.
Kind of like, you know, the Nazis.
In fact, if you trace the lineage of this group back far enough, what you would find is that they were openly allied with the Nazis during World War II.
Let's imagine that that group was currently in conflict with an army of a Jewish state trying to defend itself on multiple fronts.
I mean, that might be linked, you might say, to, you know, some of the conflicts that were at issue on D-Day.
You know, given the fact that you did have a genocidal Nazi regime that was dominating the European continent.
And today, you have a genocidal, Nazi-esque group that in some ways is less apologetic about their anti-Semitism than the Nazis ever were.
And they're fighting an existential battle with Jews.
You might mention that, but no, because again, the Biden administration is absolutely unwilling to recognize the moral components of the conflict in the Middle East at all, at all.
And so the Biden administration continues to put a weird pressure on Israel to make a deal with that is literally non-existent.
It's truly amazing.
I did an interview with Piers Morgan the other day, and Piers and I are pretty friendly, obviously.
And, you know, I like Piers, but Piers kept saying over and over, why doesn't Israel take a ceasefire?
And the answer is because the precondition to any ceasefire would be the terrorist group that committed October 7th dominates the Gaza Strip, kills all of its opposition, and turns that place into a terror haven the likes of which the world has never seen.
Why don't you just accept a peace proposal?
Don't you want peace?
Don't you care about your people?
It's so pathetic.
It's very reminiscent of the Obama administration when a group called Boko Haram, which was a terrorist group, in Africa, kidnapped a bunch of girls.
And all of the Westerners, including the State Department and Michelle Obama held up signs that hashtag
bring back our girls.
And the terrorists, it turns out, were not intimidated by the hashtag.
Well, hashtag diplomacy is the way of democratic administrations apparently.
Here's Matthew Miller, spokesperson for the State Department, begging to take a deal.
Good luck with that.
Secretary Blinken has been speaking to his counterparts in the region
and around the world the last few days with a clear message.
We should accept the deal now.
The proposal that the president outlined on Friday is nearly identical to one that said it would accept just a few weeks ago.
The only thing standing in between the people of Gaza and an immediate ceasefire is... It's time for... to accept this deal and alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people.
Hashtag accept the deal, please.
You need to alleviate the suffering in the past.
I love that the State Department keeps pretending that gives any about the Palestinian people.
They literally launched this war in order to get Palestinians killed.
They openly say it.
They want the war to continue in order to maximize civilian casualties because they believe that the West is so stupid and weak minded that if enough Palestinian civilians die because it's hiding among them and there will be pressure for Israel to surrender to That basically they'll get their asses kicked, but when?
Because the West will stop Israel from continuing to kick their asses.
That is the proposal of the State Department.
How do I know this?
Because he's literally saying it out loud.
According to the Wall Street Journal, Hamas's leader in Gaza told Arab negotiators he would accept a peace deal only if Israel commits to a permanent ceasefire, affirming the militant group's position in his first response to a proposal introduced by Biden to end the eight-month war.
Quote, Hamas will not surrender its guns or sign a proposal that asks for that.
Arab mediators said Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar told them in a brief message they received on Thursday.
Biden, for his part, keeps trying to push forward a proposal that does not exist.
Israel will not agree to a proposal that leaves in place, nor should they, nor should the West want them to.
And Huxley isn't going to accept a proposal that doesn't leave them in blaze.
But Biden's going to go to the UN Security Council and pass a resolution saying, you know what would be amazing is if there was a peace deal where maybe Huxley laughed and maybe they didn't, but everybody stops firing at each other so maybe I can win re-election.
It's the most pathetic crap I've ever seen from an American administration in the Middle East.
And I'm not saying a lot.
There have been a lot of pathetic administrations in the Middle East during my lifetime.
Meanwhile, the Biden administration is issuing warnings to Israel that they shouldn't go north and attack Lebanon.
Okay, Lebanon is not an occupied area.
There's no argument about it being a quote-unquote open-air prison.
There's no humanitarian control of southern Lebanon by Israel.
Israel abandoned southern Lebanon years ago.
It is part of a sovereign state called Lebanon, and it is being used as a base of attack against northern Israel to the point where 100,000 Israeli citizens are now living in their homes.
And the Biden administration's response to that is to warn Israel.
Not Lebanon and the terror groups that they should get out of the way before Israel mashes them.
But Israel, according to Biden stenographer Barak Ravid.
Barak Ravid says the Biden administration has cautioned Israel in recent weeks against the notion of a limited war in Lebanon and warned it could push Iran to intervene.
Two U.S.
officials and one Israeli official told Axios.
The exchange of fire between Israel and Qatar that has been ongoing since the October 7 terrorist attack by Qatar dramatically escalated in the last two weeks, prompting some inside the IDF and the Israeli cabinet to call for significantly expanding the fighting against Qatar.
U.S.
officials told Axios the Biden administration told Israel it doesn't think a limited war in Lebanon or a small regional war is a realistic option.
You know what would stop it from escalating?
Putting back the two aircraft carriers that Biden put there in the first place, but then removed.
Giving the fighters every opportunity to fire on Northern Israel.
It's absolute incompetence, and here's the thing.
Everyone in the Middle East knows it.
Everyone in the Middle East knows it.
The Biden administration only now, apparently, is starting to use some levers against, according to CNN, U.S.
officials have not only publicly called on Trump to accept previous ceasefire proposals on the table, but there has never been an all-out pressure campaign marked by specific asks to individual countries as part of the Biden administration's push.
Now, apparently, the White House went to Qatar in the hopes of adding traction to the negotiations.
Suggestions include shutting off Now, I have a question.
Why didn't the United States do that from day one?
If the United States had the pressure to leverage Qatar into forcing them to surrender, why didn't they do that literally the very first day?
Why did not the United States say to Qatar, where America has a taxpayer-funded airbase, we will move our airbase out of Qatar and leave you to the whims of your unfriendly neighbors?
If you do not expel the leaders of... to American or Israeli custody, we will shut off all of their bank accounts.
By the way, the leaders of... are richer than pretty much everyone on earth.
They have billions of dollars in net wealth that they've robbed from their own people and from the international community.
Everybody knows this.
This is the part that's astonishing.
The American foreign policy establishment is so stupid that they're being told by the Arab parties That and the Palestinian Authority cannot be trusted and should not be left in charge.
And meanwhile, they're like, but what if they get left in charge?
We'll get to more on this in a second.
First, dudes, you know, when it comes to things like ED, I know nobody wants to talk about that, but what if you could get that taken care of quickly and easily and also in a way that's going to be very helpful?
Have you heard of Rose Sparks?

Apparently, according to Axios, a meeting between Secretary of State Antony Blinken and a group of Arab officials about a month ago flew off the rails after an unusual shouting match between the UAE foreign minister and a senior advisor to the Palestinian president, according to five sources with knowledge of the incident.
So what exactly happened?
There was an April 29th meeting in Riyadh.
In addition to Blinken, the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, Qatar, Kuwait, and the UAE attended, as well as the Palestinian minister, Hussein al-Sheikh, who is the deputy of the Mahmoud Abbas, who is the titular head of the Palestinian Authority.
According to sources, during the meeting, al-Sheikh said the Palestinian Authority is conducting reforms and creating a new government.
Toward the end of the meeting, the Emirati Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed pushed back and said he'd seen no significant reform.
Apparently, he called the Palestinian leadership Alibaba and the 40 thieves and claimed senior officials in the PA are useless and, quote, replacing them with one another will only lead to the same result.
Why would the UAE give assistance to the Palestinian Authority without any real reforms?
So, again, that happens to be correct.
That, of course, is true.
And yet the Biden administration, because they're discombobulated, and also because they're paid off, continue to try and work both sides of the aisle here.
The most astonishing story with regard to the Middle East today comes courtesy of the Daily Mail, apparently.
The International Criminal Court, they brought out this ridiculous, insane, and disgusting report suggesting that the Prime Minister of Israel ought to be arrested for crimes against humanity, for fighting a defensive war against in urban terrain.
This report was co-authored by Amal Clooney, George Clooney's wife.
And the President of the United States, Joe Biden, was like, we don't like this report.
So what happened?
George called up the White House.
George, that wooden acting terrible director, called up the White House and shredded a Biden aide after the president attacked that particular ICC attempt.
Apparently, the Oscar-winning actor vented his fury after being put through to Biden's senior counselor, Steve Reschetti, the Washington Post reported.
His high-profile wife remains unrepentant about her role.
That is not a shock, of course.
The row cast doubt over whether he would take part in one of Biden's biggest fundraising efforts.
Well, then the House passed a bill saying they'd impose sanctions on the court.
And then the White House said, no, you know what?
We don't want you to do that.
We don't think you should go after the ICC.
And now, shockingly, the fundraiser is back on.
Why, what a shock.
Now it's a little corrupt, no?
So just to get that timeline straight, ICC, led by Amal Clooney, celebrity wife of Dullard actor, writes a dumb, terrible, immoral report about the Israel-Israel conflict.
The United States says no.
George Clooney calls up the White House, the United States White House, then walks back its initial comment a little bit on the ICC and tries to stop there from being consequences.
And then that actor holds a fundraiser for the current president of the United States.
Slow clap for the geniuses of the White House, as always, as always.
Alrighty, guys.
